My husband and I were shopping for a "new" car - we had an idea in mind of what our budget would do for us based on some internet searching. We had decided to just look at a few local lots, then sit down and talk about what we saw and what we wanted to do. Cottage Grove CDJR was our first stop of the day, our second day out. We ended up buying a newer car with lower mileage than we had thought we could afford. We are both still saying, "this is a much nicer car than I thought we'd end up with!" to each other. The sales team was very friendly - Brendan and Brock - we didn't feel pressured unduly (which was a big concern for us), and we left with much more car than we had anticipated. The entire experience was relatively stress free - it's been 13 years since we've purchased a car (we pretty much drive them until they die - the car we're replacing has over 360,000 miles on it), and we were NOT looking forward to high pressure situations.

After a lot of research I settled on the Jeep Renegade. I knew I wanted the Trailhawk model for its 8.7 inch ground clearance and capability to tackle all terrain. Ultimately after a bad experience in the Eugene dealership, my sister suggested I go to Cottage Grove. I cannot express properly how amazing the staff is in Cottage Grove!!! Everyone was friendly, honest, and fair. They showed great integrity in how they treated me and made me feel respected, as well as valued. I could not have asked for a more positive experience! Before I left I made sure to grab some of the staff's cards and have already given a few of them out to friends (who also had bad experiences at the Eugene dealership). I love my Renegade Trailhawk and will certainly go back to Cottage Grove for my next vehicle! ***I went to the Eugene dealership and tried to test drive a Trailhawk, but the lot only had the Latitude or limited models. I called and made an appointment at the Eugene dealership, but when I came in they again didn't have a Trailhawk on the lot (they had one in transit that they wanted me to buy without test driving) and the person I made an appointment with wasn't even in work that day! Worst experience! Most of the sales people acted like I wasn't worth their time.....Beyond disappointed! It is not okay to dink around customers!

They filled my car with gas, went over the inside and out of the car, set up payments with better interest rates to help me on the road to help me boost my credit score. I contacted Cottage Grove Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram about a used truck I found on Craigslist. I wanted to trade my 2008 Toyota Sienna for this truck. I live in about 150 miles from this dealership and was able to complete the negotiations by texting with a salesman there named Paul. We came to an agreement and I made an appointment to come look at the truck on a Saturday. When my wife and I arrived we were greeted by Jeremy, also a salesman. He was busy trying to make a sale and said we could check out the truck and he would check back with us. During my inspection of the truck I found that the right front wheel bearing was bad. I went inside and let the sales manager know that the truck had a bad bearing and could they change it. I was expecting them to tell me that I would have to pay for it. NOPE!!!! These guys bent over backwards getting the bearing changed without a single complaint. Instead they apologized for the inconvenience of us having to wait while the repair was completed and offered to buy us lunch which we declined because we had already eaten. They kept us informed of the progress of the repair and Jeremy worked at getting as much paperwork processed for the sale as was possible without us committing to the purchase since we still needed to test drive the truck. When the repair was completed we test drove the truck and agreed to the sale. The final paperwork was completed in 15 minutes and we were on our way. This has been by far the most painless vehicle purchase I have ever had. I will definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking to make a purchase.

They could not match price but being treat nicely and straight forward they showed us the best price they could do and how much they could give for our trade, we left there with the rig we wanted and felt good about the whole deal. I visited Cottage Grove Dodge yesterday to inquire about what the difference might be between my trade in and a new Ram pickup. I was quoted an amount for the model we thought we wanted. Based on the quote, I and my spouse came back to the dealership today to arrange the sale. We wanted to deal with a local business rather than the Eugene Dodge dealership. In the meantime, we had decided on a slightly less expensive model, and were told when we arrived that the cost would probably be somewhat lower. After test driving and completing much paperwork, we were quoted a price that was $7000 more than yesterday, even with the lesser model. This dealership advertises a "no nonsense" pricing policy. I beg to differ.

Buy your Jeep or Dodge here. My husband and I have not purchased a new Jeep or truck in sometime due to not enjoying the car buying experience, this was not the case. From start to finish there were real an straight forward no games were played. Our salesman Micha Stowe was informed and believed in the product he sold, since owning one himself. Customer service is big with me and these guys met the mark. Colby Carter was our sales consultant and He was awesome. He is the youngest team member but don't let him fool You. He knows his stuff! I called to get my recall done on my truck and they set an appt. the tech said we cant do warranty work or recall work on Saturdays. So I said ok I guess I take the day off work so I did when I got to the dealership I waited an hour or so then they tell me they don't have the part in stock I said but they said you had it in stock. Easily the worst experience I have had at a car dealership. When I didn't want to take the warranty off the car (prior to any contract) the manager got extremely hostile. He told me he never wanted to sell me another car. Ended up wasting a lot of time and did not even receive my down payment back. Called to get my money back for the car I never got... never received any money. Claiming it was non-refundable. Would recommend going to Lithia.

I visited Cottage Grove Dodge the other day just to check out some cars, not even really interested in purchasing one, I'm just a car guy and wanted to see the new stuff. I had no idea how nice the dealership's building was inside and out, for some reason I always thought it wasn't nice but boy was I wrong. Huge building, tons of cars to look at, super clean inside and outside, etc. I'm a retired general manager of a Dodge store so I had more of an appreciation for these types of things. Next time I am ready to buy a new car, I'm definitely going to consider Cottage Grove Dodge first and foremost. Good work.

You can shop every where and find anything cheaper....But I no when a good deal is a good deal and just because its cheaper don't mean its a good deal......You get what you pay for....I have been buying cars from Radio for 10 years and I will keep going back......I get the best service from him and he cares and so does the owner and Managers......Next car will have a hemi.......

I stopped by cottage grove Chrysler recently after going to Lithia's Chrysler store in Eugene and it was a night and day difference. The Eugene store was okay, but the staff there wasn't very pleasant. No one cared about me as a person. When I drove down to the cottage grove store, the first thing I noticed was how much nicer the facility was. Then I went in and spent about 30 mins looking around and speaking with a few gentlemen, I felt very welcomed by all. I didn't purchase a vehicle but I know exactly where I will soon... in cottage grove. Thanks for the good time.

I sent my Dodge Caravan in to this company for a repair. I explicitly told them that the van would stop running after the van would reach normal engine temperature. I told them that if the van was driven approximately 2-3 miles the van would die. I knew the problem to be a faulty sensor or ECM. I provided the ECM and just needed them to be the labor and acquire a sensor. A day after I had the Van delivered to them they called and said the van broke down on them a couple miles down the road from the dealership and they would have to charge me towing for the van. I asked how it was my responsibility to cover the towing cost when I was not the one who took the Van off the lot. The operation manager stated that because its my van its my responsibility. ??? He then went into some excuse that I had never told his mechanics about the symptoms of the van and they were totally caught by surprise about the electronic failure. I couldn't believe what he was saying. If I hadn't told the mechanics what was wrong with the van then why did I have a invoice detailing my work to be done? He then stated the van was finished and they are passing the cost of towing on to my bill. Well over my quoted price of $289.00 was now a $570.00 bill.What really put the cherry on the top of this garbage sunday was that I made it to Eugene and the van broke down with the same issue. A failed camshaft sensor. This dealership has refused several times to refund my capitol loss. They claim that the break down after service was obviously another part and I needed to have them diagnose the van again. FAT CHANCE!!! I paid a tow company to tow me home and I replaced the sensor myself. The van has been running great ever since. I recommend NEVER going to Cottage Grove dodge. These people by experience do not guarantee the work they do and will pass on as much expenses to you as they can. Heck I asked the operations manager if they guarantee the work they do. What he said was "Well not really.....I guess it depends on the customer."

Horrible experience at this dealership and do not recommend it to ANYONE! Stay away while you can. The sales manager actually backed out of our deal because I called the Chrysler cooperate office to see where my car was. What kind of business does that?! The staff at this dealer, Cottage grove Chrysler lied to me about the breakdown insurance policy they sold me for over 3000.00 on my 2006 F350. They all told me it covered everything bumper to bumper, electronics, total. This was a serious sales pitch to get me to buy something that has very little value as it only covers very basic parts that usually do not fail. It does not cover the computer or Control module or FICM and most of the truck is not covered. I was specific in asking beforehand in that does it cover everything and they were adamant in saying absolutely yes everything. I have spent thousands on this truck repairing it. The policy is near worthless, not one time did it honor any of my breakdowns. Not once. They denied all of this after I asked them at Cottage grove, even saying to me curiously,,,did you get this in writing from us beforehand? This was a guilt question , making sure they could get away with it. They did, but thank god for reviews and ,,,,ha ha.

My review was do to an insensitive response to a safety issue on a used vehicle purchased there. they did not want to remedify the cost($200.) to repair a leaking brake fluid to the back brakes which was a safety issue to me. This could have cause no braking power to the vehicle. Comment made "what you do expect from 16 year old vehicle". Safety inspection are necessary on older vehicles. This should have been caught during the inspection of the vehicle before going to dealer inventory.

After calling Friday evening at 5:30pm to confirm the vehicle was available, we drove 5hrs from WA state to arrive Saturday morning, go through the inspection, & then be told that the vehicle was already sold to a prior customer - ironically to someone in a neighboring city to where we live. Honestly, I'm not sure the deal would have happened anyway, because they've had the car for well over a month and the interior looked like it was fresh off the construction jobsite. Mud in the cupholders, mud & dirt on the seats & carpets, and a HORRID stench of stale, wet dog. The truck bed also had moss in it. The 4 online advertisements for this vehicle showed the interior from angles (and distances) that made it look spotless. The vehicle's mechanicals checked out and I figured a shampoo & wipe down would take care of the interior - then came the news that the vehicle was already sold. In their defense, the GM was sincerely apologetic, and the salesman (Keith) was awesome. The GM offered to buy me a tank of gas, or lunch for my family, but I drove 5hrs to buy a vehicle, not for a free meal or gas. Although sincere, the gesture (worth all of ~$50 to ~$75) felt more patronizing than helpful. Keith (who had nothing to do w/ the Friday phone call) was genuine and friendly, so much so I briefly considered buying something else off their lot, but the lack of vehicle preparation, and the lack of proper organization procedures (the root cause of my wasted trip) left me feeling disrespected as a potential customer, and highly concerned about customer care *after* vehicle purchase. The dealer misrepresented that the car we purchased had a factory instaled tow package. Now we have a car with no official tow capacity and questionable warrenty. I had to file a complaint with Chrysler and The State Atorny General's Office. We still do not have resilution and may have to hire an attorney to get resilution to our delema.

This place is horrible. I am still having nightmares about my experience here. I already wrote a review detailing how the sales manager yelled at me for suggesting that car dealerships don't pay more than bluebook for a trade in. That review was removed due to inappropriate content. I did not use any profanity or violate the terms of use, so I am guessing that the dealership tried to get it removed? I wouldn't be surprised. Anyways, here's my experience: The car we were looking at was listed for about $5500 on craigslist, the sticker price at the dealership was $7500, the blue book was $3500. The sales manager (owner?) yelled at me in front of the whole store over $50. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND GOING TO THIS PLACE!!! I am skeptical of the all 5 star reviews on here... they are quite possibly done by the people who work there. I did warn them that I was going to tell the internet about my experience at their dealership before I walked out. The sales manager proceeded to get on the outside intercom and yell some more. I am a polite, educated, christian woman and I don't think it is appropriate for any man to speak to a woman like the sales manager spoke to me. Let alone someone who is trying to sell me something. That man lacks a basic sense of respect for other human beings and he is the guy in charge of this place. Take your money elsewhere. Their customer service was horrible... the sales manager yelled at me. I consider yelling to be a 0 on the scale of friendliness. My overall experience left me feeling like I had wasted a perfectly good Saturday. I am still haunted by the sales manager's rudeness. Therefore, I give overall experience a big fat zero. The price is just bad because the sticker prices are way above what they actually want or expect and WAY over bluebook. And then they call themselves no gimmick dealerships, that the sticker price is the real price they will accept. This is clearly a lie. They were willing to accept far below the sticker price on the car we wanted, but it was still almost double bluebook.

I can't believe there is no reviews for this place! They are awesome! PR and customer service are out of this world, the vehicle we have only had for one day but we feel it will last. It is pre-owned. They worked with our not so pretty credit and didn't make us feel like we had the "plague" like so many other dealers, we got a great deal, actually got approved over the phone and the sales Rep, Dave S. came out and picked us up, seriously, he drove from Cottage Grove to Junction City about 40 miles with the Durango and we drove it back and did the paperwork and drove it home!! I might also mention he bought coffee and hot cocoa for our daughter and a cookie at Dutch Bros! They just don't do stuff like this anymore. But they do there at Cottage Grove Jeep and Dodge. Everyone was helpful, but Ben Coleman was especially helpful. He was also very understanding about a problem I was having with my insurance company and helped by making phone calls and having things faxed to him to clear up the problem. Overall buying my "new" car there was a quite positive experience.

I had a wonderful experiance here. The sales staff was knowledgable and very easy to deal with. I would highly recomend my friends and family. There straight to the point price was easy to understand and saved me thousands from what other dealers were asking. This was one of the best experiances I've had at a dealership .. I was totally disappointed with the dealership. The sales staff were personable enough but there was no negotiation at all on their part. Their idea of a compromise on the price was lowering the price $50 off a 27995 vehicle price. They instead wanted to sell me a bunch of extras at a "good" price. I wouldn't go back there. No flexibility on their negotiating. A friend in Cottage Grove recommended against them and I should have listened.
