Awesome Experience

I am giving 5 stars to our sales person Josh Sims. My car transmission went out and I needed to find something reliable quick. Josh stayed late so my husband could come test drive with me. He was not pushy, listened to what I wanted, and then made sure payments were in my budget. He then took the time on another day to go through all of the features of my new vehicle and treated me like royalty. I don't hand out compliments unless they are genuine. You can trust Josh. Also my service guy Jeff rocks he is always honest with me and takes time to talk through all my options and the runners in service such actually run for you! Both of them deserve a raise! I would totally recommend Cornerstone Ford for both sales and service. They feel like family!

Good people

Recently bought a car here from Mike Thrun. Great guy. They go out of their way to make sure you're happy with the vehicle you've selected. I was trying to figure out how I was gonna get there to pick up my new car and Mike offered to either deliver it to my house (45 min away) or come pick me up. I ended up getting a ride from a coworker, and Mike spent at least 45 minutes going over all the features and options. Great prices on vehicles also. Would definitely buy from this dealership again in the future.

Ford Recall work done

I received a recall notice on my 2015 Ford Edge for water leaking into the Drivers Compartment. I originally brought the vehicle in about 8-9 months ago and stated that I hadn't notice an issue.Well after all of the rain this year I had left my car outside and the Drivers compartment had approximately 1/2"-3/4" of standing water in it. After 2 hours of waiting Jeff came to me and said they were still waiting on a response from Ford.After another hour and a half, Jeff came in and stated he would call me when they had heard from Ford. Well here we are a month later and I still have not heard anything from Ford.

I'm never buying a car at another dealer!

We were looking for a newer used vehicle, and found 2 online that we wanted to look at, both 2012 Dodge Journeys. One was at another dealer (Luther Brookdale Dodge), and, since it was closer, we went there first. We drove the car, loved it, and started to fill out the paperwork. The sales guy had issues with his computer, so he went to talk to his manager. Turns out the car was already sold, but the other manager didn't have someone put a sold sign on it, and we lost that one. We looked around for an hour and didn't see anything else we liked. They had another one at one of their other dealerships, but couldn't get it brought over for some reason, even though it was early afternoon. We gave up on that one, and the dealership.We decided to go to Cornerstone in Elk River to see the other one. John Hendrickson met us at the door and made us feel very welcome. Since we called ahead to see if it had been sold (it hadn't), John had grabbed the keys and was ready for us. The car was right outside the door, and we went to look at it. Unfortunately, it was previously owned by a smoker, so that one was out, too.John suggested we look at several other cars (some different than the Journey), but then found on his inventory sheet a 2013 Journey. We looked at it and immediately loved it. They looked at our trade-in and offered us $2,000 more than the other dealership. Long story short (I know, too late), we drove away in our new 2013 Dodge Journey.John was very easy to work with, had lots of good stories, great experience and knowledge, and was very helpful. He even stayed about an hour past when he was scheduled to leave, just to make sure we got through the paperwork process OK (they were really backed up in that department because it was a busy day).My wife and I decided that next time we're looking for a car, we know where we are going first, and that's Cornerstone.

Great Service

I recently had a clutch replaced on my 2014 Ford Fiesta at Cornerstone and Jeff really took care of me! I was kept up to date on the status of my car and he really helped me get a great deal on what I needed! SO PLEASED!!!Also, we have bought 3 vehicles from Brandon Barth, he is laid back with lots of knowledge, so if you are like us and already have something in mind to check out he is great and low pressure to buy from!

Service Department

I recently purchased a pre-owned F150 and prior to purchase we discovered a fluid leak possibly coming from the transmission seal. When the vehicle was inspected by the service department they discovered that the main transmission seal was bad and needed to be replaced. With the transmission exposed they also uncovered a bad torque converter and tranny pump failing. They consulted with sales manager and completed the entire repair ($$$) to stand behind their promise to their customers. When I picked the vehicle up, I met Service advisor, Mark Norring who took the time to explain to me in detail the service and repair completed on the truck. Mark assured me that the transmission was inspected and repaired by one of their experienced Mechanic and that the transmission is basically brand new and will last a very long time. Mark's attention to detail and courteous professional mannerism is just another example Cornerstones commitment to their customers and why if people who are either looking for a new/preowned vehicle or in need of trustworthy and honest repair, should literally never go anywhere else but Cornerstone Ford, Chrysler, Jeep. Great experience

Buying a car can be a painful experience, but not at Cornerstone. I had been shopping around at several Ford dealerships and had a range of experiences with salespeople. I can definitely say that Josh S at Cornerstone was the best I've encountered. He took the time to get to know me, showed me the car that I had been looking at, and explained how the features fit what I was looking for in a vehicle. He answered all of my questions (and there were quite a few!) and worked with me to help me get drive home in the car that day. At no point did I feel pressured by Josh. Instead, I felt like he was on my team making sure I was getting the best vehicle for me and staying in my budget. Josh really went above and beyond what I expected (and encountered) during my shopping experience.There were a few little things to be fixed on the car (e.g., tightening a screw on the trunk inside lift gate) and the service team provided extremely quick and professional service to get the car to basically new condition. Even after purchasing the car, Josh has reached out to make sure everything is going well. I am confident not only in the car I bought and the Ford certified preowned warranty, but I know if anything goes wrong, I have a person I can call who will help make sure it gets taken care of. Sales person was very thorough and the whole process was done efficiently and professionally we would definitely refer people to dealership and to our sales woman Deb Johnson. I will add I have refrained from this dealership because of the bible verses they use on there signage in lot, but my experience Sat. The 13th of August was a good one.

Ivan was great to deal with. He was able to schedule me in for service on my Ford F150 on short notice The work was completed quickly and the price was very reasonable. 2014 Ford Escape AWD

My husband and I had a great experience working with John Hendrickson and the finance team at Cornerstone in Elk River last evening. John found us wandering around the lot looking at Ford Escapes and was very welcoming and helpful in answering our questions and working to find a vehicle that fit our price range and will be reliable driving on gravel roads in the winter. I have purchased several cars from Cornerstone over the years and always with Jim Weinholt. This year, due to Jim's unfortunate passing, I worked with John Hendrickson. John and the sales team were very helpful and worked very hard to get me in the truck that I wanted (RAM 1500 Sport) for a price that I could afford. The process was quick and easy for me (not so much for them as they worked very hard) and I will certainly go back to work with John in the future.

New Car Perfect For Our Growing Family!

She found us looking around the parking lot and came up and asked what car she could find for us. She asked us detailed questions to figure out what a good fit would be for our growing family as well as a good fit for our budget. We checked out numerous vehicles and found the one we loved. During this process, Deb never pushed us to check out a vehicle we didn't show interest in. She didn't mention any vehicles out of our price range, unless we asked her about them. New Ford Escape

Went in a couple weeks ago to take a look at leasing to buy. Josh Engelby took care of us and walked us through the whole process about what leasing to buy is; he ran the numbers for us and explained everything very clearly and physically wrote out the numbers for us to show us how it all worked. It put my wife at ease about the whole leasing process which is new to both of us. Mike Z then showed us around the lot and we found a Ford Escape pretty quickly that we liked and test drove. Then we moved forward with the leasing to buy process. They had a no pressure approach to adding extra sprays or rust protection unlike other dealerships I've been too in the past that I really like. Nothing I hate more then people trying to pressure you to add this and that and want an answer on the spot. If you want to work with some good people and have a car in mind in Elk River, ask for Josh E or Mike Z. Great people.

Very good overall experience

My experience at Cornerstone Ford was excellent. I stopped in for an oil change on my 2014 F150 along with a small issue I was having with a tail light. I wasn't expecting them to be able to get to the light while I waited for my oil change to be complete but they were able to get the warranty claim processed thru Ford and do the repairs. Ivan and Cory (Service Dept.) were both very helpful and friendly and I will certainly be back.

Great Experience

I received an offer from Cornerstone for an opportunity to buy a vehicle or lower my interest rate on my current loan. My truck I was driving was in rough shape so I decided to give them a chance and see if they could help me out. I was expecting at best to be able to trade for an inexpensive used vehicle being my credit rating is only about average. Not only were they able to get me into a better vehicle, they actually were able to get me into a brand new Jeep. The process was fast and friendly. Everyone I worked with from Josh my salesman to the sales manager to the Joe the Tech expert who walked me through all the features of my new vehicle. They were all friendly, patient and committed to making sure I was happy with everything and I understood everything that was going on and that there weren't any surprises. Awesome sales help

I want to thank Tyler Pinska for helping me and my wife find an awesome RAM1500. We love the truck and Tyler really helped us land on the right truck. He showed us a lot of options and stuck to the facts versus any biases views. We looked at other RAM dealers, but in the end I found we had the most trust in this dealership. Getting a new vehicle can be stressful, but Tyler and Cornerstone auto made it an easier process. Can't say enough good things about our experience.

I have now bought 7 cars from cornerstone ford and 1 from cornerstone Kia so 8 over all I bought a truck from ford in November and traded it in April they wanted me to take a 7000 loss on it on a trade in it took a threat to call the owner to get them up to a 4300 loss I knew I would lose some money on this truck but not this much I could have made this deal at any ford dealer as a first time customer the salesmen was great it was management that insulted me if this is how they want to treat return customers why be loyal to them I have gone there 8 times because Wayne diets has always been fair to me and the dealership gave you a good feeling except this time they just treated me like a sucker I know they didn't force me to do the deal but I owed so much on the truck it made it real hard to get out of so my loyalties are in question right now as to weather or not it worth it to be a loyal customer

My husband John and I just purchased A 2015 F150 4x4 and a Ford Focus hatchback. We love the vehicles !!! Our salesman was Roger Olson. He was absolutely terrific. He bent over backwards to help us in any way possible. He even followed through on a little communication error on my part and paid half for running boards out of his own pocket. Ford Fusion purchase

I recently purchased a 2015 Ford Fusion from Cornerstone Elk River MN. I had the pleasure of working with Josh Sims. He treated me with respect and conveyed an overall relaxing atmosphere for purchasing a car. Excellent Buying Experience

I found a new 2015 F150 on Cornerstone's website (Elk River), inquired about it and received an immediate response from the dealership. I set up an appointment for the following evening and my wife and I met with Tricia Hansen. When we arrived at the dealership the truck was pulled up to the front of the building and Tricia was there to greet us. She was very knowledgably about the features included in the vehicle and very helpful answering questions. Those questions she didn't have an answer for she found out and told us later, never missing anything. We had an appointment set at another dealership to test drive another truck the following evening and Tricia was very understanding, let us leave with no pressure and told us it was important we find the perfect vehicle for us, whether it was from her or someone else. We returned the day after our test drive, drove the truck at Cornerstone in Elk River and made our purchase. The whole process was stress free and enjoyable. We will be back!!

Very Satisfied Customer

I recently leased a vehicle from Cornerstone Auto in Elk River with the assistance of Terry Berg. I can't say enough good things about the great service I received while trying to decide on a make, model and color of the vehicle. Even when I changed my mind about the color at the last minute, Terry said "no problem, we'll just change the paperwork." He didn't seem annoyed like some would have. Other family members, have purchased vehicles from Terry and have gotten excellent service. I also purchased my previous vehicle there and will not go to any other dealer.

STAY AWAY!

Is $1,800 a good chunk of change to you? Well it is to me, so I DEFINITELY do not appreciate their mechanics damaging my $1,800 rims for a simple balance on my wheels! I have a newer 13 Ford Fusion with 26k miles on it, VERY WELL TAKEN CARE OF! I maintain my vehicle, and my rims were in PERFECT condition until 3/28/16 when I brought my vehicle in for an oil change and tire balance, the mechanic literally scratched up ALL FOUR of my rims! Didn't say ANYTHING about it either, I found it myself upon inspection! They aren't going to write off a new set of four rims for me either! HORRIBLE customer service! They should've immediately replaced them!!! RUDE! There's only ONE service advisor there that I have dealt with that I can recommend talking to if you ever do have to go there and that is Jeff, he is an OUTSTANDING advisor and is true to his word! He will make sure your problems get solved! I have nothing nice to say about the place otherwise. Each time I've gone there it has been poor service, but now that they've damaged my car, I am never going back! I was just talking to a sales person about picking up a new Mustang GT too, GUESS I'LL TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSE WHERE SINCE YOU WANT TO CHEAP OUT ON MY RIMS!

Geate Place to buy a car

I stopped at Cornerstone Ford in Elk River a couple of days ago "just looking around" I have been looking at the F-150 tracks for about 6 month had no attention of buying a track on that day! After driving up and done in the lot for 15-20 minutes I saw 2 tracks I want to check out so I went in asked for a sales person Tricia Hansen was available at that time. We talked for a bet and she understood the fact that I was there to look and try few F-150 tracks. After driving 4-5 F-150 tracks and seeing how helpful Tricia was and never showing any frustration with me as I had her run in and out getting keys for different tracks. Plus the fact everyone in the dealership from mangers to sales were very nice smiling and saying Hi to me and my family Long story short I spent all day in the dealership found an F-150 with the help from Tricia Hansen Kept everyone working late that day as they all were trying to get the paper works ready and yet met my goals and objectives on my trade. How refreshing to actually have a salesman that knows how to sell! I was in sales for 35 years and Roger Olsen did everything right. He asked what our wants and needs were, what we like and didn't like in a vehicle and then actually took time to review all the amenities the vehicle had to offer as we sat in the lot prior to the test drive. Outstanding experience at Cornerstone Ford!

I stopped at Cornerstone Ford a couple of weeks ago "just looking around" and was approached by Nate McMahon. I asked for a couple of brochures talked a few minutes and had a good feeling for Nate and the organization. I found a very low mileage 2015 Explorer Limited on their web site and dropped in to look at it. Nate was very helpful and patient with me and answered all my questions and took me on a test drive. We discussed the car and I asked how much my trade in was worth. I had an answer in about 10 minutes and told him I would bring my wife back to look. I came back and we discussed what the final price would be. Nate never made me feel "pressured" to buy and made this car purchase the best experience ever. Nate was quick to respond to questions, never gave me bad information and always kept his word. I would recommend Nate to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle and feel Cornerstone is not your typical dealership but people who really care about customers.

Ivan Garcia has been exceptionally helpful. Came in for oil change and tech noticed ply seperations on all four tires. Ivan brought me out to look and said he would follow up with course of action. He called the next day and suggested I call goodyear. I did as he recommended. They gave me a claim number and sent me to a goodyear dealer. They gave me an adjustment of 49 dollars per tire. Not only did his help promote safety but saved me nearly 200 dollars. Though I had to buy the tires else where, I will by back. thanks Ivan.

Stopped at this dear and was very impressed. Im credit is not the greatest so I thought no chance . After meeting with Rocky he found someone the would give us the loan for a 2014 mini van .I Was told I would need a co signer. I had my gf co sign. They asked what i needed for a payment. After all the paper work the payment was 130 higher then I wanted. But i didnt care i was driving a new vehicle. After driving it for a about 3 week i get a call and say I need to return yhr van because my gf DL was not vaild. Rocky said dont worry we fill figure it out that was the last Heard form Rocky and the dealer..I then tryed to get my down payment back. What a figjt thst was. When i went to pick up the check i was accused of keeping a key . Are you serious. I then became not to happy and told Rocky he was not a person that doesnt tell the truth. Fantastic Customer Service on New(ish) Fusion

After my pickup of 10 years blew up on me, I needed to get a new fuel efficient car. I had heard good things about Cornerstone from a coworker, but was still pleasantly surprised. As soon as I sent the message that I was interested in a car, Wayne reached out to me to answer any questions and learn about my situation. When I went to test drive it, Wayne had it pulled up and warmed up for me. The whole buying process was a breeze, and the finance department got me a better rate than the 2 banks that had pre-approved me before. Wayne and the rest of the staff at Cornerstone were welcoming and accommodating throughout the process. Definitely recommend them and will be back in the future.

I just finished my second truck purchase with Cornerstone Ford, Ram 1st, Ford 2nd. I actually look forward to seeing the people who work here. They are very friendly and patient. For both transactions I had Ben as the salesman, Dan as sales manager and Duane in accessory sales. Everything went very smooth, the vehicles, both times were fully prepped and the extra accessories were installed properly. I have had bad luck with this at other dealerships. All of my warranty and service work has been performed here and there is nothing that hasn't been taken care of. FYI, I have purchased more than 20 vehicles and have had many differing buying experiences. This is the only dealership I will go to unless we move to far away places.

Stop by late in night chatted and was inpressed. Returned the next day. My credit was not a + they stated they could help. Staff was very friendly. Filled out app was approved came in few days later. They have a vehicle they had picked out. This vechicle was no a good match for me. After they they became not so friendly with me. VERY DISAPPOINTED. They did get me into the vechicle I wanted to buy. I was on a budget and ended up going over budget. I was quoted one payment price then apon final paper work finsl payment jumped 33 dollars. Feeling a bit taken advantage of. They knew i need a vehicle. Then there was a a few issues with the 2014 i purchased now in getting the run around. I guess when your under the gun you pay the price.

Bought a 2nd car for a winter beater today from Brandon Barth. I was brought to this dealership on my Dad's recommendation and I am glad I went. Went to this dealer not expecting to buy a car from them. First they made me a great offer on my trade-in. Then the salesman (Tyler) showed me a couple of great options they had on the lot. Again, wasn't thinking I was going to buy a car from them but not only did they give me a great offer on the trade-in but also a great deal on my new car. I did take my car to another dealer to get another price and they weren't even close. I would definitely recommend my salesman and the sales manager. Took the HHR I bought from Cornerstone last summer in for an oil change. Ivan met us and listened to what we had to say. I asked him for the service but also some prices on tires. We had a complimentary snack cup of coffee and were out in about an hour. Ivan had the prices of three different types of tires, which were very competitive, he explained everything that was done and we were on our way. Wonderful service! My husband and I were researching a newer vehicle, we weren't sure whether we wanted to purchase new, used or lease. Terry Berg made our shopping experience painless. Explained us all the options and even took out the pen and paper to show us the difference in price! There was absolutely no pressure! Once we decided on a New 2015 Ford Escape, Terry went the extra mile and arranged for the car with the color and features that I wanted to be brought from Duluth to Elk River. I am one happy customer. I recommend Terry to all of my friends and family. I only marked the Facility down because I felt that completing all of the purchasing paperwork should have been in an office instead of at the front counter. There were a lot of decisions to make like extended warranty, paint protection and such. Pete Shrider was great, but he needs his own office!

I purchased a 2013 Ford Fusion a month ago and brought it in for the first oil change this morning. Ivan was my advisor. He did a fantastic job, was very cordial and thorough and made me want to come back to Cornerstone. Since the car is still under warranty (and I purchased the extended warranty) I will be coming back for all the warranty work. Ivan did a great job, I will be coming back because of him.

When I first entered the dealership, and was referred to a salesman, I was really not sure what I was getting myself into. However, my salesman, John Hendrickson, did a great job of putting me at ease. In fact, at times I thought he was moving to slow to make a sale. But he wasn't. He took his time by letting me ask questions, and made sure that I comprehended everything that he was saying to me. He made me feel comfortable, even though I knew that I would be dropping a large sum of money for a good used car. By the time we were done with the sale, I was quite comfortable to know that he cared for me as a customer and as an individual. I have recommended this dealership to others, and also salesman John. I checked on line at auto trader found four ford escapes. Then I called them. Roger Johnson is who I talked to. He is very nice. Told me the hours. I said I would probably be in to see the cars on Friday. It didn't sound like he is in on Friday. I called and said I would be there at 9 in the morning. He said he would be there! He is so nice very professional! He was very knowledgeable about the Ford Escape. I test drove the 2014 Ford Escape I loved it!!! I traded in my vechile got a good price for my 2007 taboo.
