A friend of mind told me about Cooper Corvettes, when I was in the area I decided to check them out. Pulled into the lot and saw several nice Corvettes that looked real good. Walked around checking them out. Rick Poage came out, introduced himself and we talked about what my wife and I were looking for, and he showed me what he had. He offered to let me test drive what he had, but while I liked several, I had not seem the one. Showed me one in the showroom and that was the car. He moved it outside and let me test drive it. Low mileage, nice color, clean, in good shape, reasonable priced and most important my wife also like it. A little negotiation and I have my vette. Rick went over all the controls, options on the car, and buttons. I had a very enjoyable ride home, would buy another car from Rick/Cooper Corvettes.

My Corvette Buying Experience from Cooper Vettes

Previously I have owed 3 corvettesI have always loved C4's, which are currently the most unpopular Corvette, but I love them. So my search began online; various sites and locations throughout the east coast. Cooper Corvettes stood out; their vettes are high quality, regardless of whether you want a high-end or affordable vette. I had my eyes on an excellent condition, stock all original 85'. For three weeks I followed the car and finally we drove down to Triagle and looked at the car. The saleman, Joey, was awesome. We worked out a deal first and went home to think about it. Joey and I conversed throughout the week. meanwhile, he pulled the carfax report, which came back clean. For the price, this was by far the best 85-87 in the area for sale. Finally the next weekend, we drove down again and talked to the owner and Joey. Signed the deal and walk away thrilled and happy. The dealer won, and I won, as such, we walked away happy. My wife does not like sports cars, but was very excited and thought the car was sleek looking and nice. She said, "oh my God" it has a digital dash. I will also add, the owner had the car serviced and a bunch of new parts, i.e. fuel pump, new BF Goodrich tires and steering wheel. I highly recommend Cooper vettes for the following reasons: Excellent service, high quality vettes, honesty and easy to negotiate. We will certainly buy all of our future vettes from Cooper.

I've been coming here since 2006. Cooper Corvettes is your one stop source for all things 'Vette. Their inventory is ridiculous and mouth watering, the sales staff knowledgable, superb and accomodating. Service Manager Tom McGrath is the single most qualified and talented Corvette Master technician I have ever seen. He is a Jedi Knight in Corvetteland. Take your car anywhere else, and you take your chances. Sadly, in my opinion, the world of Corvette service is full of hacks, butchers and fools. Not all, but more than most. When Tom has your car it's in better hands than when YOU have it. Their shop is First Rate, there just isn't any shop that I know of who is even close. He gives solid advice and counsel. He WILL solve your problem, not create new ones. The man has a ridiculous skillset and a knowledge base and is, in my opinion, without peer. There is nothing that this shop can't do, and do right, the first time, everytime. Need a turn signal fixed? No problem. Need the entire car rebuilt or customized? No problem. Tom personally checks each car before it leaves the shop. This is a shop you can totally rely on. Do yourself a favor, whatver your need, go see them. If it's a hundred miles out of your way, go anyway.

Well here is a dealership with the same work ethic. I had a very very satisfying experience when I bought my 6th Corvette, a 2010 Corvette Grand Sport in November of 2013 from Rick at Cooper Corvettes in Triangle, Virginia. They make you feel like you are buying YOUR car instead of someone pushing you into THEIR car. They specialize in Corvettes and other high performance cars but they more importantly they specialize in treating their customers right. They have a car lot full of cars covering different years, different generations, different colors, different engine options, and you can easily feel like a kid in a candy store. If they dont have one on their lot, they will work with you to find one, new or used. I worked with Rick to find a 2010 Grand Sport with a manual transmission. I knew a little about this model, but quickly became an expert. He quickly found one and provided me pictures and all of the information he knew about the car; we discussed my trade in value up front and we agreed on a price. Cooper Corvettes handled all of the details, we shook hands and Rick left to pick up the car 2,000 miles away. From start to finish, I drove my new Corvette home in three weeks. I just returned from a service appointment with them and am even more satisfied by their staff. They handled my service appointment on time and focused only on my car while I was there and even washed my car before pulling it out front. The whole Cooper Corvettes team exceeded my expectations for an auto sales and service dealership. And the entire staff knows my name. I made a decision this past year to sell my 1979 L82 Corvette. I had 2 other Corvettes and although it was my first Corvette - and a beauty!! - I found that I was not driving it as much the past couple of years. So, I put an ad in the usual places and sent it out thru the Corvette club channels. After a few weeks and not having sold it, Rick Poague also a member of Northern Virginia Corvette Club, asked if I would like to put it on consignment at Cooper Corvettes. I have heard Rick talk about the great service and sales there and he has discussed it on the radio show In the Pits which I listened to WJFK 106.7 The Fan on Saturday mornings. Cooper Corvettes has a great selection of all years of Corvettes - and I was happy to display mine there with the rest of the great line-up! On a visit down there a few weeks later, I mentioned to Rick and Bob Arnold (the owner, a great guy who is really passionate about Corvettes) my plan to sell my 2004 Z06 and 2007 Z51 convertible and just own 1 Corvette - a ZR1. Our Third Corvette -- 2nd from Cooper Corvettes

We just purchased our third Corvette -- the 2nd we've purchased from Cooper Corvettes and were very pleased with their approach -- just like the first purchase, there was no hassle or pressure and it was a very fair and straight forward sales process. We had decided to work our way down to one Corvette, one that was more comfortable for us "older folks," with automatic transmission and with lower mileage, one in which we had confidence in its performance. We purchased a beautiful 50th Anniversary 2003 maroon Corvette with camel colored interior and convertible top and less than 5,000 miles. It is so much more comfortable than my 1991 6-speed with over 101,000 miles and my husband's 1981 Stingray with over 102,000 miles. Like our others, she will be a "garage queen," particularly on rainy days like today. Can't wait to drive her again. Our thanks to Rick and Bob for making our purchase such an easy, stress-free process. Bob still thinks we need "his" and "hers" Corvettes -- who knows? Whenever we drive by, we feel like there's a magnet drawing us in to see what else they have! It's so much fun being a Corvette owner and enthusiast! Made Buying First Corvette Easy and Enjoyable

I had been wanting a classic Corvette--or so I thought--for many years, much longer than I've been watching the Cooper Corvettes web site. Thanks to Rick Poage's incredible knowledge and patience, I was able to drive five Corvettes--one of them a classic, which I discovered I really didn't want--on two separate occasions. The open road tests are a blast and a good indicator of the performance and handling of these truly awesome cars. Rick called me when a car he figured I'd be interested in had returned to the dealership and sure enough, I drove it and bought it that day--an awesome C6, just the color I wanted, with more features than I thought I could ever want, as well as being newer than I thought I could afford. Buying a car from Bob, the dealership President, is like fishing with your grandpa--it's that comfortable. Thanks to Rick, Bob, and all the guys at Cooper Corvettes, I'm driving and much enjoying the car of my dreams...Only "negative" was their call the next day to let me know they had forgotten to return my driver's license before I left with the car! I have wanted a vintage Corvette for many years...

I wrote a specific Google search string to find a '94, '95 or '96 Corvette nearby with auto transmission. Up popped Cooper Corvettes with a few hits. An email inquiry was answered by Rick Poage and after a tele conversation, I was there the following Saturday to see a cherry red '95. Bought it within 30 minutes. Easy no-hassle process. Went back the following Sat to pick it up (I had them put new tires on it) and Rick walked me thru various aspects of the car including how to properly open and close the hood to avoid damage to the doors. First class place... first class people... first class customer service. I even got a hat with the C4 logo to go along with the car!! It looks great in my garage and turns heads wherever I drive it. Many thanks to Rick, Bob and Cooper Corvettes!!

Over and Above!

I drove from Virginia Beach to look at a 1982 C-3. Drove that car with Rick Poage, liked it, but decided I was looking for the wrong car. We then drove an '87 C-4 which I liked much better; but, I hadn't done any homework about that car. Rick provided an enormous amount of info on that model as well as the follow-on C-5. Until my visit to Cooper Corvettes and Rick, those cars weren't even a consideration. E-mail, text, and phone call help from Rick continued over the next few weeks as I got smarter and WE searched for a car that fit my needs and means. All of this finally lead to my purchase of a 2000 Coupe-- from another private seller! No, I didn't find the right car at Cooper's this time; but, I found the right people and got amazing help. No hard feelings either; Rick immediately sent his congrats and best wishes. Hard to imagine that kind of reaction from many dealers. I'm sure I'll be back up there when I'm ready to do any mechanical upgrade to my car, or make a trade for a newer 'Vette. You will be hard-pressed to find a more knowledgable salesman, or one more willing to help you find the right car.

Superb Corvette Buying Experience

Bob Arnold and his team (and esp. Tom in service) are the best to deal with when you are looking for a Corvette. I have bought two convertibles from them (a C4 and a C6) and the experience was very positive. The cars there are hand selected for quality and prices are competitive. The service department is 2nd to none-- all they do is Vettes, and they have often diagnosed car problems over the phone (accurately). They sold me my first and 2nd Vette, and I will be back again in the future.

THE Place to buy your first Vette

I've been wanting and looking at Corvettes for at least 10 years now, and in the last 2-3 years, I've been eyeballing Cooper Corvette's stock off and on via the internet. Someone who frequents Cars.com, I'm sure it was here that I found the Cooper Corvette website. Well, after drooling on my keyboard for 3 years, I fulfilled two dreams in one visit: to drive my dream car and then to buy it! Ended up driving 4 that day and buying the first one I drove. Joey was very patient w/me and laid out all the features/facts of each car - there were at least three C6's to try in my price range. This dealer is NOT close to my home, but the buying experience equalled the greatness of this car and it was definitely worth the drive. Bob Arnold was super to work with and I couldn't be happier with the car buying experience. I was really excited about getting this corvette, for a retirement gift, after 23 years in the military. I looked forward coming in after talking to Mr. Arnold. This was the bet experience I ever encountered and wished for when looking for my "dream car". Great Vette Dealer

I didn't plan to buy a Corvette when I walked into the dealership. I have wanted one for 30 years, but never took the plunge. The selection of used Vettes was fantastic. Like a kid in a candy store. The one I wanted to try was in the back of the showroom and I told him it would be too much trouble to move it (remember, I wasn't planning on buying one). He said "no trouble at all" and proceeded to move 5 other cars out of the way. Tried it, but it wasn't quite right. So he pulled out another one for me and told me to test it. I said I'd only be gone a few minutes and he told me to take whatever time I needed. It was great. Got back and after a bit of haggling (which I mostly lost, but didn't really mind becasue the price was already good) I had myself a beautiful used vette. If I ever get another one, I will go to Cooper Corvettes and no one else.

Corvette LT4 Purchase

Well stocked inventory of Corvettes from 1966 through present day. I bought 1996 LT4 car for my son. Very clean vehicle. Cooper Corvette revealed all repaired and known issues. Buying process was straight forward and no pressure. They will tell you up front why they think their cars are worth their asking price. Great service. Discovered the master cylinder leaked two weeks after purchase. Cooper Corvettes repaired the unit under very reasonable terms.

C4 Corvette

Our salesman was very helpful, knowledgeable and accomodating since I was not sure of the exact corvette I really wanted. I actually went to the dealership to just look and ended up buying that day a very well maintained red C4 convertible. Our experience overall was a great experience and we would definately recommend this dealer to our friends.

I've purchased 2 cars from Cooper's so far. When I find myself wanting to buy another Corvette, Cooper's will be my first stop. The owner, Bob Arnold, understands the value of a happy customer and he wants to make you happy. It's also obvious that his staff, both sales and service, understands that the boss expects them to keep you happy and they do. Everyone there, from the owner to the guy that washes the cars is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Every time I've been there I've been treated like the most important person in town. Good dealership and service

I have owned 3 corvettes. Two I have bought from Coopers. All three i have had serviced at coopers. I find that the service work is excell, they stand behing their work and generally the bill is lower than I was expecting. For as long as I own a Vette, i will have it serviced at Coopers. When its time to replace my 2006 arrest me red convertible, Coopers will be the first place I look.
