We searched all over Texas dealerships for a 4-wheel drive Acadia Denali to no avail. We found Community GMC dealership in Waterloo, Iowa on the internet with just what we wanted. I went to the dealership to investigate Buick SUV's 6 months ago. My husband had test driven the GMC Terrain, so he suggested I check it out also. As soon as I sat behind the wheel I fell in love with this vehicle. The salesman was so patient with me that day. He provided me with a lot of information to help me make my decision. This visit was a routine maintenance, and I felt that I was treated very well by everyone there. The lounge was very comfortable, and I enjoyed the cappuccino. I didn't have to wait for my vehicle as long as I was expecting and everything was done to my satisfaction.

I had the oil changed in my 2013 verano.I got a letter from buick stating that some of these vehicles have a "sticky" steering issue. On the highway i did notice it on mine. After telling service about it they found that there was an update to program a computer module with. Its alittle too early to tell if that fixed it but so far it appears to have. Everyone i interacted with were friendly and helpful.

I recently bought a Yukon SLT from Community. This is my 6th GMC vehicle I have purchased over the years, all from different dealers out of the area. Since moving to Iowa, this is the first one bought at Community. The service on my first service check surpassed any experience I have had at any other dealerships. The vehicle had a recall item that would make the service a bit longer in timeframe and they arranged a courtesy vehicle for me to use to run errands. It was a very nice Denali and they had it running and warmed up to go, as it was cold out. When I returned from errands, I was greated at the front door and my purchases I made while out on errands were moved to my Yukon without me even asking for help. The staff was professional, prompt, courteous and made me feel welcome and glad that I had purchased my vehicle there. Service, and how you win customer loyalty, seems to be a "thing of the past" these days. It was refreshing to find it is still being trained and honored in Iowa at Community Dealership!

You tell your customers needing service that they don't need to make an appointment for an oil change, but recently with both my Saturn and my GMC pickup, I had to wait an extended amount of time because there were so many other customers ahead of me. Don't tell customers you can get them right in for an oil change when you don't think you can. Prior to these two incidents you folks always took my vehicle right in and in 30-40 minutes it was done. I'm glad to see you getting more business but if you are then you should go back to making appointments. Also they didn't have an air filter for my 2011 Duramax GMC and my wife and I had to wait almost an extra hour for that to be delivered. The service tech said it was because they don't stock that filter. My question to you is: why not? You sell GMC Duramax pickups and I'm sure you have several customers that need that filter for their pickups. You should stock all regular maintenance items for GMC and Chevy Diesel pickups. If this happens again, I'll just take my pickup to Rolling Chevrolet in Waverly instead of driving all the way out there. On a more positive note, however, I do much appreciate your finding the mouse nest and removing it. Good work!Thanks for listening.Tim Swallow

Had front end alignment and told the service man that myremote just started giving me problems. They checked outthe battery, remote and then we agreed to order new remote to see if the problem is the module in the car.In checking out the remote it began to work and workedall week end while I was out of town--real blessing.The service man and I agreed to watch it and come backif further problem. Nice people. Since Deery in Cedar Falls no longer handles GMC we are planning to useCommunity Deery in the future since it is closer to home

I am always impressed when I come to your dealership for service. I came when I needed a repair on my old truck, and they were able to fit me in that same day, with no appointment (when I needed it most; my job's hours are so unpredictable, it is hard for me to make appointments; so, it was a big deal that they fit me into their busy schedule). The gentlemen at the desk (I have spoken with at least two over the last year) are ALWAYS kind, respectful, calm, knowledgeable, and devoted to customer service. I have never been so happy with a service center at a dealership before. I have had poor experiences with Jerry Rolling Chevrolet in Waverly (both the service center, and the sales department); however, your service center is top-notch. Please pass along my gratitude. The gentlemen at the desk in the service center impress me every time I come.

Everyone was polite, professional & friendly. When I stopped in with my alarm problem, Chuck got my vehicle right in for diagnosis. He addressed all of my concerns, explained what they found, ordered a part and got me an appointment for 2 days later. On my appointment date I took advantage of the shuttle service for drop off and pick-up at my office and the driver was courteous, friendly and there and waiting as scheduled.
