I met Marcial Mercado 45 days ago when a couple of friends were buying a CR-V. I told him I'd be back. When it was yesterday, I decided to go to Coggin to buy my new car. I was very doubtful about which car I would choose, and Marcial helped me a lot in that decision. I decided on a Honda Accord Hybrid, with the patient and super-attentive help from Martial. Thank you Marcial and from now on I will always look for you and indicate my friends to buy with you.

on sept 3 i visit the service dept fpr a oil change, i was told tmy car has a recall and wold be 2.5 hour wait. i told the service advisor no problem . I waited over 4 hours, i bought my car at coggin honda on 2015 and was offer free wiper blades for life,,on sept 3 i requested for it and (JIM) service manager told me simple NOT can do, he said that promotion is no longer in place,,, i have no business on it, but i feel if i have the offer for life i should get them.. i call service director(Jeff) and email him also...i also call mr jerry lovins and left him a voice mail...NO ONE CARES, NO ONE CALL ME BACK.....worst customer service and worst service manager ( JIM }

Wasn't a very enjoyable experience. I came with several cars in mind. I had to ask to look at the cars. I had to ask the salesman to go over the features of car. Even then it was very as I was asking something. Not very much of people person or true salesmen either. Do you realize how many Honda dealers there are with deals for Labor weekend? Norbio clearly didn't want to be bothered with my business.

My time was well spent. I really appreciate the detail and incredibly hard work ethic that sales advisor Sofiane Hamissa displayed. He had a great knowledge of our new 2016 Honda Odyssey, and went to great lengths getting exactly what we desired,some two hours plus drive. I highly recommend Sofiane Hamissa for anyone looking for new Honda vehicles.He is extremely passionate, and really cares about excellent customer service. He is the reason for my 5 star rating! Not sure what he makes,but he's deserving of that and way more!

It is the worst customer service ever. Don't ever go there unless you want to wait at least 2.0-3.0 hours just for something as simple as oil change, even with scheduled appointment.They wouldn't even wash it (it's included) and if you ask for it they'll tell you would take another hour. The manager was useless, so don't bother or don't expect to help you. This wasn't my first bad experience with this dealer, initially thought was due to not pr- scheduling appointment but was wrong. I hope it was my last. Go to a different dealership if you want better and faster service.

Where do I begin. From the day that I leased two cars this finance department messed up my paperwork. They made a mistake and asked me to resign a contract without notifying me of the changes made to the contract until my husband caught it. Then when I finally sold my leased cars off, I requested reimbursement for the service contracts I foolishly purchased from them. No one from finance ever picks up the phone or respond to messages. I finally had to take a day off from Tampa and drive in. I had a nice fella work with me and took my paperwork. He also kindly invited me to call him again anytime I was in town and gave me his personal contact information. I was asked to wait at least 6- 8 weeks for my check. It's now been over 8 weeks and back to no one answering the phone. Finally I pleaded my case to the operator who had the sense to put me directly through to accounting. Finally someone on the phone! After explaining my case, accounting looked for my name and as it turns out no paperwork had been submitted at all. So tonight I write this review and resubmit all the paperwork again. Ugh!

Found 2013 2WD LX Pilot w/ 46k miles online through USAA at $20,991 (mid-range price according to KBB). We liked the Pilot but I wanted a full utility vehicle to drive off the lot with (towing capable and roof rails). I called and put down a deposit to save the car till my wife and I could go see it - talked with Antonio Natera, an then emailed latter saying I really wanted this car tow ready with rails and didn't want to haggle the price so I would take it at listed price. Over the phone Antonio stated "yeah we can do that" to installing a transmission cooler (search estore honda and the Trailer Hitch ATF Cooler Kit [2WD Trim Only] and it's clearly matched with the model and trim of this car) and tow harness, but just give me the Tow hitch kit and rails as parts since the labor fees would make this unreasonable. I asked for these parts only after researching prices on the Honda estore website where these totaled $900. Antonio looked up the prices (parts & labor) through his book and we worked out a solution where some parts would be installed others just provided as parts. Antonio then called later saying "we don't have any of the tow parts in stock, but we can work out a price reduction to make it work - we want your business and will do whatever to make it work." I was agreeable and drove to the dealership with my wife (4 hours). Upon arriving at the dealership we met Antonio and his manager, Arthur Glass. We test drove and enjoyed the car. We came pre-approved by USAA and were ready to buy at listed price with the tow package and rails (again, Honda site listed $900 value). Arthur proceeded to state that Antonio did not have the authority to make that deal and would not offer that as the car was "priced to sell, etc..." We went back and forth for hours on what Antonio agreed to and what I was expecting to drive off the lot with, and how they would only offer $300 off the price without anything else included. Arthur then took the car to the Service Center where he states they read the VIN and stated that this car cannot be installed with a transmission cooler (see link above as Honda site clearly lists this part for the vehicle I am trying to buy). They couldn't provide an explanation in how it can't be installed, and they didn't even know the Pilot came standard with a hitch receiver under the back bumper - they were shown that it already had one. Combining the fact they only offered $250 for my trade-in and would not budge on their offer, we balked and decided to leave to test drive another car. After asking for my deposit back, they stalled and then came back with another offer - they found out this car can be fitted with the requested Transmission Cooler (I'm inclined to believe they lied the whole time since they said this install would cost $1100) and would install the whole tow package for only $300 additional to the listed price. We thanked them but still requested the deposit back so we can see the other car. While the transaction was taking place the Used Car Sales Manager offered the whole tow package without additional charge (the original agreement by Antonio still without roof rails). I again thanked them but said, "I gave my word to another GM that I would see his car, I will honor that word, but keep this offer in mind." We left. The Lord blessed us with a much better car,: 2015, less miles, higher package, leather seats, $1k for my trade-in, and a check to install tow equipment - all for $1k more than this Pilot. If you want real service and honorable people, go to Audi of North Orlando with Shaun Laird as GM - class acts all around - if you asked for the shirt off their back I bet they'd be inclined to give it.

Last week I had an excellent (and redeeming) service experience at Coggin Honda, with Bruce Scheller, as my Service Advisor.Since moving to Orlando four years ago, we've had our Pilot serviced at Coggin. The dealership itself makes waiting comfortable, with great customer lounge area, and nice amenities. Our first couple experiences were fine; but, then declined to just so-so. (Never able to have same Advisor again, etc.) The last (almost final) time, having to seek out my Advisor twice, after long wait (hours) periods, only to get inconclusive updates. Plus, having the whole thing punctuated by an issue with follow-thru on a part, billed as installed but discovered later (visibly) was not; and the Advisor debating it had been. Almost losing us as a customer over a $15 retail ($5 cost?) part.The day before I went to schedule this service, I even looked at other area dealership options; but, decided to give Coggin another chance. I am glad I did. My experience with Bruce (Scheller) as my Service Advisor was outstanding. He was polite, professional, thorough in checking service history records, listened and asked questions. He arranged for the shuttle, called during the day with updates, was efficient in the check-out process, waived a diagnostic fee, and even called the next day (Saturday) to follow-up. Also, the shuttle driver, Juan was exceptional. Courteous and prompt on the drop-off and pick-up trips. Overall it was a excellent (and redeeming) experience.We have had five Honda vehicles, and dealt with Honda Dealerships in two major metro areas prior. This most recent experience was back in line with what we've always known and appreciated about Honda Service Departments.

They Don't Keep Their Word

The message from the GM is the exact message left on my review on YELP. I have called numerous times (that is the dealerships # not his direct #) and all I get is voicemail. He has never returned my call and he never answers the phone. What a joke. The comment is just to "look good" on here but isn't sincere or genuine. They could care less that they took my $1500 and didn't fix my car and I still have the same issue I took it in for service for.Took car for repair for a specific issue and it was not fixed. Brought back a second time and was told 99% sure 2nd repair would fix issue and didn't. I took my car to Coggin Honda Orlando on 1/11/16 to figure out why after an hour of driving my car, I would turn it off and go back to start it and it won't stay on unless I give it gas. The service adviser said they would put it on a diagnostic machine. He called me later that day and told me it was the computer to the car and a radiator relay. I asked him is this going to take care of my problem of the car turning on/off after an hour and he said yes. The service adviser had to order the computer to the car and that took a week to come in. I dropped it off the morning of 1/20/16, and I got it back that evening after work.I paid $1112.70 for this first repair. I drove my car home, changed my clothes and went to go to church. As I was getting ready to go to church my car did the same thing again and wouldn't stay on. So, I text the service adviser to let him know the car was doing the same thing. He told me to bring my car back in and I told him I wouldn't be able to do it until January 25th. They put my car back on the diagnostic machine and he came back with another test that said it was something else wrong; the EGR valve and 02 sensor. I asked him again is this going to take care of the specific problem I had brought the car in for as I had already paid over $1K and they were now asking for more money for this additional repair. His reply was he was 99.9% sure that this would definitely take care of the issue. I told him to go ahead and get it done but questioned him again, was he really sure this would fix the problems. He replied, "Oh yeah, this will definitely take care of it." After a week without my car I went to pick it up Friday 1/29. He said they tested it and drove it and also left it on for a while and that the problem was fixed. I paid the additional fee of $397 for this second repair that was going to 99.9% fix the issue. I was told this was a reduced at cost amount as I told them to see what they could do about the cost for the second repair as their first attempt cost me over $1k and didn't fix the problem. I left there and went straight to church. From church I went to McDonald's, then finally went home. I pulled up to the driveway and told my daughter, "Wow, the car seemed like it really did get fixed this time." I went in the house and we soon realized we were missing food items. So I was going to go back to McDonald's and get what was missing. As soon as I got in the car and tried to turn it on, it wouldn't stay on. It was doing the same thing again. So I recorded it on my iPhone and text the video to the service adviser. He replied, "xxxx it, bring it by tomorrow." I told him it would have to be after 2pm because I worked Saturday morning. I got there at 2:20pm the next day. I sat there for an hour and a half as they looked at the car. He took me into a room and said that there was nothing else they could find wrong with the car. So I asked "Do I get my refund, or can you put my parts back in?" He said "No because you needed the parts and they couldn't put old parts back in." My response was "So I just wasted $1509.70 and my car is still having the same issue daily?" I asked for my keys and left as they refused to honor their word to solve the problem after they had already received my payment and refused to refund me my monies since they never "fixed" my car.

Likely the best service I've had in years. There seems to be more people in this town that thrive on making others look bad. At any cost people go out of their way no matter how much wasted time they take to insult people or business' who are trying to do the right thing. My wife was hit by a drunk driver on Thanksgiving day and our minivan was totalled. Looking for an interim replacement that I can pay cash for right now. My insurance company (USAA) recommended Coggins. Visited Coggins today to look at a used Honda Odyssey. The vehicle I was considering was an older vehicle (2001) but in good shape. Because Odysseys have had some transmission issues, I asked about the transmission of this vehicle. Salesman (Tyler) explained to me that this vehicle was a trade-in and that Coggins had put in a rebuilt transmission. Since they did the work themselves, I asked if they would stand by that work with some kind of warranty. Nothing. That seemed odd to me. Im assuming that if I owned an Odyssey that was out of warranty and brought it in to their service department for transmission work, they would stand behind that work with some kind of warranty. To confirm this, I called their service department. The service manager was very proud of how well they stand behind their work. A rebuild/repair of the existing transmission on an Odyssey would be covered by a 1 year/12,000 mile warranty. An install of a new or refurbished transmission would be covered by a 3 year/36,000 mile warranty. It seems a bit odd to me that they arent willing to stand behind the transmission work that they did on this Odyssey in any way. To be honest, that sends up a huge red flag to me about purchasing this, or any other vehicle from Coggins. I've shared these concerns with Tyler and I'll see if he gets back to me. I'll update this review, hopefully with good news. I'll be sure to let USAA know of my experience as well.

I spoke with a salesman named Dane Scavone and he was a great help at finding the perfect car for my husband and I. We needed something that could meet our needs and Dane did the job. Another salesman named Tyler McClintock introduced us to a product that will protect the life of the paint on the car. Had Nino wait on me, very good in the customer service dept. I have had issues with my oil change since approx.one year after purchasing my pilot, the person changing the oil ruined the thread on the oil pan. Well every time I visited the service dept. this was man issue, twice I was told I needed a new oil pan but some how a temporary fix was performed. Well the day came when no more fixes could be done, still I was reluctant to buy a new oil pan. The head of Maintenance was called and he checked my vehicles record all the way back to 2007. Sure enough he verified I was telling the truth and he offered to install same if I purchased the oil pan and he would not charge for labor. PROBLEM SOLVED.

I was approved for a lease at this dealership to get my daughter a car. I also got approved for a lease from another Honda dealership as I liked the sales person and finance people much better there. They also had the car I wanted for my daughter so I leased it and she drove it home very happy. Two days later, they called and said Honda Financing changed their mind and wouldn't approve my lease?!? I asked why and was told because someone from Coggin called Honda financing and lied to them about my lease agreement terms with them?!? They were just upset because they found out I leased from another Honda dealer in the area. Now I must try to finance the car, costing me another $6000 extra overall for the same car. All of this because somebody at Coggin was upset they didn't get the lease. This is very sad and disturbing that Honda allows this to happen and that a salesman (Rickey Finnerty) would actually Lie to his own company because he is upset with himself. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with Coggin Honda as you can NOT TRUST them!!

I just wanted to share this with everyone who plans to do business with Coggin Honda on OBT. My father just leased a vehicle with them this week and I have never been so shocked and angered with this dealers lack of professionalism, dishonesty, and cynical way of handling what should be professional business deals as (lets face it), we are shopping and investing in vehicles and not shopping for souvenirs or tee shirts where you might consider things to be No Big Deal if something were not handled correctly. After agreeing on a price or a deal as General Sales Manager, JR Beliveau did and shook hands with my father on, the next day when picking up the car and when we headed into the finance department to make final arrangements and paperwork, it turns out that there were last minute add-ons and extra costs that we had clearly asked and discussed with Mr. Beliveau, would not be added as this was part of the negotiation while shopping and agreeing on the car as we all do during the buying process. We all know that there are usually always pleasant surprises or add ons when finalizing the last bit of paperwork on your vehicle purchase, and the problem is my father had clearly let Mr. Beliveau know how much the budget was, and how much he would be wiling to have as a car payment. My father asked twice to confirm the final price and payment after everything was said and done and unfortunately this was not so. We were in no rush in leasing and have other options in dealers. However, because we were mislead and made to believe that in order to keep our business the agreed deal was something we could make happen, we chose to stay with Honda and move forward with the leasing process. Long story short, this wasnt the case and I dont appreciate being mislead, deceived or made to look like a fool when we are sitting there negotiating and promised something, when in reality all we were made to feel is that as long as we were providing a sale to Coggin Honda, they promise the world and fail to deliver on the excuse of There must have been some miscommunication and a final Sorry we cant do that (At this point in time let me just add that I had not only lost three hours of my time but all insurance arrangements and switches from our previous vehicle to the current one had been changed). Like I said, great sweet-talking and promises while getting you to buy/lease a car and then when they have your business, they do not care about you anymore. They couldnt care less! Nobody appreciates being made to feel this way and this has not been the only time this dealer has made us feel like this. The only positive experience we had was with our actual salesman Norberto Flores who had no fault and did the best he could to help us given the situation we were dealing with.We argued the miscommunication with Mr. Jeffrey Berlan who was there the day we picked up the car and who gave us the ridiculous excuse of how there must have been a misunderstanding. He said there are policies and processes that change all of the time and sometimes-correct information or miscommunication can happen because there are so many details. Of course there are details!!! Again, we are buying cars not tee shirts. He continued to mention that sometimes staff is not updated on all of the details and disclaimers, as he then points to a co-worker to confirm what

The service Rep, Yoell, was very helpful. He was so patient in explaining everything to me so that I would understand. He showed me what Coggin Honda was doing for me that the dealers in another state where I lived were not. He let me know how happy he was that we had taken such good care of our SUV in the past and wanted to be sure that he did what was needed to continue the care. Coggin Honda had a wonderful "Theatre" room with comfy seating, a movie playing, drinks and snacks. I stayed there for a while and then he called a shuttle for me and I went to the mall to hang out, eat lunch, and shop. They picked me up and brought me back when my car was completed. Thank you and I will definitely have all maintenance and repairs done by Coggin Honda. :) :)

The sales person was accommodating & had us test drive a couple of vehicle. I was passed on to his manager afterwards. I told her my budget & the car that I want. She gave me the price but didn't explained why it was higher than my budget. she told me it got everything. I though there was an entertainment system. After I signed everything, There is no video system. I was disappointed. In additional, the Finance Officer keeps on adding services...... If you are a first time buyer for a vehicle, I would advise you to have someone with you helped you with the deals.

I have purchased my last 4 cars from Classic Honda. Since their sales and service has been steadily going downhill, I thought I would try a new dealership. One of the social groups I belong to recommended Coggin and away we went. Giovanni Aponte was especially helpful for discussing used vehicles and very gracious when we decided to buy a new vehicle. Marcial Mercado understood our needs and made sure to meet them. The transaction only took 3 hours from start to finish which is 1/2 the time my last purchase took at Classic. I would recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking for a new or used Honda!!!

They heard my concern of driving in this heat and storms with my 85 year old mother. Last Sunday we went into Coggin Honda on OBT and had specific requirements that we were looking for. When we entered the dealership, we were greeted by Elizabeth Rue who immediately started to listen to our concerns and wishes. Elizabeth listened and worked with management to meet our needs and exceed our expectations. We walked out that evening with a new 2015 Honda Accord. Today, I had to go back to the dealership to bring in some documents that they needed a copy of. I met Elizabeth again to say thank you. After talking together I ended up trading in my Kia Optima and drove home a new 2015 Civic Si. Again, no pressure tactics, just plain old excellent customer service from someone who listens to your concerns. We definitely will come back as this was the most pleasant car buying experience we have had.

Just relocate to Orlando, FL. I look through several dealers reviews and found Coggin Honda of Orlando has good reviews, I made an appointment for my 2008 Honda Accord and Adam W. Higgins, service ad visor help me, he pull my appointment and ask me. If I will wait or drop the vehicle for service, I decided to wait until the vehicle is ready. He told me there's complimentary coffee, donuts, and other snacks. With-in 1:30 minutes my vehicle was ready, I felt the timing was just correct due to other things they need to-do-to the vehicle by checking fluid levels and change my wipers. I will defiantly be taking my business there. I was truly happy with the service of my vehicle.

I literally visited 10 different dealerships in Central Florida, and visted specifically with this dealership 5 times. I have been a Odyssey owner for about 14 years (on our 2nd Odyssey with 100K+ miles). Finding a good and ethical service center was always a challenge, until I discovered Jim Abatsas about 5 years ago. Jim is now Service Manager at Coggins Honda of Orlando. I now drive over 30 miles to get the car serviced at Coggins Honda under Jim's supervision. I get accurate diagnosis of problems, fair price for repairs and have full confidence that I am not being ripped off with unnecessary repairs. Most of all, the service team has a great attitude, keeps you informed and is empathetic to customer concerns and individual situations. I am a United States Marine I came from being deployed overseas temporarily to get my family settled in the Orlando area in advance if me moving back to the US. We went car shopping for my 16-year-old daughter. We stop by this dealership as we pulled up the sales people left the gazebo. The sales man Said I believe approached us and asked us what we were looking for. We told him we were looking for car under 10k small about the size of a Hyundai Accent. We were standing by an Accent that was 11 K. We went around a lot and looked at about three cars under 10k none were acceptable. My wife then asked to test drive the Hyundai Accent that was 11 K. The salesman asked are we going to buy this car. Confused we ask what do you mean he said that we didn't want to spend over 10 K in his cause 11 he didn't want to waste his time getting keys if we werent going to buy the car. If all we can afford is 10 K we can't buy a car that's 11 K. We explained that wanting to spend 10 K and not being able to afford over 10 K is not the same thing. But if we are wasting his time it would take a 15 K cash and go spend it at another dealership. All of a sudden he wanted to be helpful. Being he assumed our financial situation we wanted nothing to do with him. Another salesman came up and asked about the situation we explained it but did not want anything to do with the dealership at the time this gentleman asked if it was anything you can do to fix the problem. It was nothing he could do to make us feel not belittled or profiled. When did sales become buy right now the first car you look at. It was insulting. My thank you on memorial day for serving our country.

My wife and I recently purchased a 2015 Honda Civic coupe From Inspira. She and George Andraous worked as a team. Both were excellent! They were great with details and gave us exactly what we were looking for. They were both extremely kind, considerate and very personable. They promised us that they would beat their competition and give us the absolute best price and they kept their promise without any deviation. Unfortunately, they did not have the vehicle that we wanted in stock, but that didn't slow them down for a minute. They promised us that they would have the exact car that we wanted brought in from another dealership within 48 hours. Our car was prepped and ready for pickup in approximately 24 hours. They gave us a very thorough and indepth orientation of the car and made sure that we had no unanswered questions before giving us the keys. By the time that we left the dealership after our purchase it was big hugs and high fives for everyone. They felt more like family. Our other car is a Mercedes, so we are used to being pampered and treated very well at the dealership. They treated us just as nice as our Mercedes dealership and believe me that's saying something. We would highly recommend them to all of our friends and family without any hesitation. Thank you so much for the fantastic experience. The staff at Coggin Honda always go above and beyond for their customers. I've used the dealership for repairs for many years, and I just recently purchased a new vehicle from them. I whole-heartedly recommend the dealership in general, and my sales person, Rickey Finnerty, in particular. Rickey was very helpful and informative and never made me feel pressured in the least. When I had questions he didn't know the answers to, he did the necessary research and got back to me quickly. Choosing a new car can be stressful. Rickey made the whole process a pleasant one.

One of the worst Customer treatment I ever had!! The Coggin Honda of Orlando called me saying they have all the colors and the best price to match and complete the deal in a day. The end result, I spent two evening more than 4 hours each day and turned back home without buying a car from them!! I had clearly told them I am looking for Cherry Red CRV EX and they didn't have it. They asked me to buy a silver metallic instead. Should I buy the color they like or the one which I like? JR Beliveau, the Sales Manager I was dealing with is one of the rudest person I have ever met till today! He used so many curse word which is even inappropriate to write down here. After getting the quote on day and I returned to finalize the deal, he greeted me by saying 'Are you back in Senses?' and when I got irritated after not getting the color I liked, He said 'See you tomorrow' and when I told him I never ever come back to them again. He sends me a mail after I left the showroom saying I will reduce the price by another $500!! How low a person can get to strike a deal!! I will never ever buy a car or recommend them even if they are willing to give the car for Free. Never waste your time going there. They are very slow and don't know how to treat a potential customers.

I took my Honda Fit to the repair shop because the rear window wouldn't open. While waiting for the problem to be diagnosed I received coffee, snacks and a very good massage. So a 2-hour waiting time wasn't that long. Then I was told that a part had to be ordered and my car would be ready the next day. But I couldn't come the next day, so Bruce was very understanding and said that he would do everything possible to get my car fixed the same day. And indeed, towards the end of the working day I received a call that my car was ready. And in addition to repairing the window my car got a nice wash. I was totally satisfied with the service and I appreciate Coggin Honda's effort to make the customer's experience excellent. Thank you!

I bought a 2013 Ford Fiesta the beginning of April from Coggins Honda. Our salesperson was William Flannigan. He made the entire process so easy and so pleasant - he made a potentially stressful process stress free. He was knowledgeable about the car and easily answered any and all questions we had. We went thru the USAA car purchase program and Will's call to us in response to our email was the friendliest and the least "hard sell" of the three emails I sent out. In fact, at no time did I get the feel of a "hard sell " from him. That alone rates this company high in my book!

I bought my previous Honda Odyssey from this dealership. They are always professional. I have utilized the service department as well for all of my maintenance and they do a great job getting your car back to you as soon as possible. They even wash it! As for my car buying experience this time, I bought another Odyssey. My salesperson was Elizabeth Rue. She was extremely nice and very patient. I came in around early evening but was there until 10:00 because of my trade in. She did not mind how long it took to complete the process and she even helped entertain my 8 year old during the whole experience. She was wonderful to work with. I bought a Honda in February of 2015. On the day I purchased my car I told my finance manager, Alex,I would let him know if I planned on transferring the title from my old car or buying a new tag since I wasnt sure, yet, if I would keep my old car or sell it. He told me to call him within a couple of days, and let him know; I called Coggin two days later. I was transferred to Alexs number, and it went to his voicemail. I left a message for him to not transfer the title, but to issue a new tag, and to please call me back. A day later, no return call, so I call again, and left another message -still no return call. The next day, I call again, again it went to voice mail, so I asked to speak with Nelson, the person with whom I negotiated the deal, to let him know I had been trying to reach Alex, for him to please not transfer the tag from my old car, but to issue a new tag. He said he would let him know, and to send an E-mail, to confirm. I did, and Nelson replied back via E-mail, saying, you want us to get a new tag, and not transfer the old tag. I confirmed again.A couple of weeks later, no new tag, and by now, my temporary tag has one day before it expires so I go into Coggin Honda, and ask if I can speak to Alex , I can never reach him (Id tried to reach him again during that two weeks), and they tell me, he works in the used car section, now, and had been there for a while. I tell them I need a new temporary tag as the one I have will expire in a day, so they introduce me to a new person, and get me a temporary tag extending it for another month. So about a week later, I get the registration where they did indeed transfer title from my old car! I call again, and say I need to talk to someone about my license tag on my new car, and they transfer me to a Linda. I tell her what happened, and she says, You must have left your registration. Next time dont leave your old car registration information when you purchase a car. I told her I didnt do that and that I have my original registration with me, and the finance manager must have copied my old one, and I called him several times leaving messages to get a new tag, and I confirmed it via Email. There was no apology, an Im sorry, we will correct that would have been fine, but it was as if it were my fault. I ask her how much more would the new tag be, as I had already paid for my tag in the negotiated deal. She says, it could be another $200. I call the DMV myself, and ask how much will it cost to get a new tag. I call Linda back, and told her I dont understand why Im being charged so much more for my tag and it should cost less than the total amount youre charging me I told her I shouldnt have to pay for another agency fee as youre doing this again because Honda made the error. Lindas whole delivery on the call was unprofessional and rude.. I asked her to please not speak to me that way. It wasnt just her words, it was her tone and delivery. This was not the same Honda I visited when I initially shopped there. So about a week later, this same Linda calls me, and she says we have registered for your new tag, I asked how much, and she said, its an additional $275. So, now, with this additional amount she told me and with everything I had already paid it was significantly higher than the DMV rate indicating I am being charged twice for the agency fee. Now, were in the month of April, and just last week I get a call from someone in Honda that Ive never spoken to, saying, weve made a mistake weve registered you for the wrong car thats not the car you purchased. Were going to send you something in the mail for you to sign, and if you can get that back to us, we will have to apply again for registration for you.Funny how it wasnt Linda calling me to let me know they made another mistake! Poor service, poor execution. Not feeling a lot of trust or respect for Coggin right now. . After you buy, the good service is done.

Bought 1st Honda in 1999 from Coggin and have purchased and serviced every car since at Coggin. I shared some concerns because I thought Coggin would like to have some feedback for a LONG TERM customer. I was amazed when it was obvious that they did not care that I was a 16yr loyal customer and that is it was more about excuses and defending their practices then being concerned about keeping me as a customer. Issue #1Wife took car in for oil change and was told she needed tires "TODAY". This was just by the tech eyeballing the tires, they are not even close to wear indicators. Service Manager Rich defended this by saying, "we start telling people they need tires well in advance of the wear indicators as a courtesy." I asked why she was told today and he did not have an answer.Issue #2 After work was done, Wife asked why oil change was $69.99, she was told that our car needed Synthetic Oil which was now $69.99 (same oil change was $47.99 just 30 days earlier), owners manual says Synthetic is optional. Service Manager told me they do not do regular oil changes anymore and that they raised prices on the Synthetic oil changes because others (Jiffylube, Pepboys) were charging more. Again who cares about the customer???Issue #3Review other old invoices and found that I was double billed for the same part - again shared concern with service manager and was given a rebate only after Rich finally tool the time to look at the invoice when I told him I goggled the part number and that my car only needs one of them.After 2 emails sharing my concerns, I finally received a call from Rich Lupo, Service Manager. It was very apparent from the start of the call that he never read or looked into any of my concerns. He was trying to shoot from the hip and give me quick responses to just get rid of me. He also starting telling how the department is in transition and that he had a large number of new employees, (based on this you would think he would want feedback from someone who has been going there for 16yrs) It is obvious that he does not have control of the department because he does not have a grasp of what s "REALLY' happening in the service bay, and he does not seem to care. Is that what a 16yr loyal customer deserves?I guess Loyalty means nothing!General Manager Jerry Lovin has not responded to my emailed concerns.

Don't even hesitate to have Coggin work on your car! We were in Orlando from Chicago and lost air conditioning in our handicap van. Getting up and running was crucial. No was not an option and Jim(service manager) and his team rocked the house. They took the time to care about our special situation, tried to find impossible parts to find, came up with work arounds when the special needs people couldn't deliver (really!) and then came up with options for the work arounds! Jim personally discussed problems, solutions and even gave me his own cell phone number so I could call him anytime! I can't say enough. If you're in Orlando and need help, call Coggin. I just had my 2012 Honda CRV in for routine oil change and I just love this place! I have been bringing my cars to Coggin Honda for service for years. They never miss a beat! They even caught a nail in my tire once when I just brought it in for a battery change. Their Service Manager, Jim, is the best too! I know I'm always getting an honest answer from him on what my car needs. And even when I have to wait awhile for my car the waiting room has plenty of seats with a movie playing and fresh popped popcorn! Makes the time fly by!

Go to Coggin Honda ask for Israel Camareno this is how car buying should be - you wont be disappointed!!! My fiance and I both had to buy new vehicles in the last month which is not ideal but it happened. We had the absolute WORST experience buying from Space Coast Honda, (see dealer rater review from RJS2015 for details), so we were hesitant about another Honda dealer but because we like the brand so much we tried Coggin in Orlando and we are more than pleasantly surprised!!! We met Israel Camareno an incredibly kind, courteous man who made us feel welcome and important - the way customers SHOULD feel. He asked what we were interested in and was not pushy or aggressive at all. Even though it was pouring the entire time we were there Israel took the time to show us all the vehicles we wanted to see, answer all of our questions and then help us get a great deal on our new Pilot. ISRAEL CAMARENO IS FANTASTIC!!! Another noteworthy person is the finance manager Tunde Aluko who was just as kind and courteous as Israel. I went in a couple of months ago to trade my Lexus. We were not able to make a deal we were to far apart on the numbers. Since my car is a lease every month I make a payment the payoff goes down so at some point the numbers will work out. Out of curiosity I went the their web site to look a vehicles. Found the car I wanted. There was a button to appraise your vehicle so I entered all of the information to the last detail. The numbers came back and I was thrilled. The amount I wanted for my car was right in the middle of what their web site said. So I sent email to the salesman I worked with and gave him my proposal. The wanted to give me 3000 less than what their own site said. They have seen this car before and know its condition it only has 9000 miles on it and is practically brand new for having it a year. I am very disappointed it their tactics. I would never recommend a Coggin dealership. Bottom line don't lie.

Hi, I just wanted to say a few words about Bruce Scheller. I came in for an oil change while I was on vacation in Orlando on a very rainy and cold day expecting to get terrible customer service, because I was an "out of towner." I also had a PCV valve with me that I needed help on and Bruce came to the rescue. I expected him to say that "we don't install customer parts!" He confirmed that my part was a genuine honda oem replacement and he said they will put it on for a very reasonable price. Not only did they put on the part and change my oil, he even showed me where the part was located on my engine. They were extremely busy, and I was still out within an hour. I am from Columbia, SC and I wished I lived closer just to get my car serviced here. I've dealt with many service advisors over the years and he is by far the best and most pleasant I have dealt with. Thanks Bruce for being the best at your job...

Don't wast your time trying to do business with this dealership. I spent over an hour with a sales person, they examined my trade and then refused to tell me what they were willing to give me for my trade. I also noticed that the were one of those dealerships that has addendum stickers on their new cars where they up-charge dealer added items in an attempt to increase profits. The location and facility are less than desirable. With lots of other Honda Dealerships in the area don't waste your time with this one.

Dealer wants max retail price for used car. 12 Honda Accord EX-L. Sales people offered up a good price, then when Manager called, only talked from original high price. Then only offered to drop it 500 if I removed the certification on the car. What a rip off. Then low balled my BMW trade offer. At the end, we are $300 off and looks like they will lose this sale. Coggin is not a good dealer to deal with. Run while you can and shop somewhere else.After reading other people's reviews, it looks like a common bait and switch tactic that Coggin Honda of Orlando uses. Mike Moushon sets up the great deal and agrees to the prices you want. Then they pass you off to another salesman- Nathan Clements in my case, who says he can't give that price. Then get passed to the Manager-Nelson Merced who starts the negotiation back at the beginning with wanting top value for his car and low ball offer on the trade. Stating that Mike Moushon is new and isn't authorized to give that price. I'm sure he's been working there plenty long after reading other people's bad reviews. Common Bait and Switch tactic used by shady Dealers. Not a minute after I posted this review, Nathan calls me to tell me the manager changed his mind and is offering me a great price otd, but the manager is mad about the review and won't talk to him, so the deal is no good now. Ya right. Shop somewhere else.

I have been watching an 04 vette that Coggin Honda has had on their lot for a little over a month. the original asking price was $16992, then reduced to $15992. I inquired on the internet that when the car came down to $14900 to email me so we can make a deal. the response I received from Arthur Glass (Internet Sales Manager ) was the price is "firm" and is $14900 my budget or what I thought the vette was worth. I returned the e mail letting him know it was the price I thought it was worth and sent pics and VUN of my trade so we could deal. No response. The following week, I see th car has been educed to $14994. I sent another e mail telling him that you are in my price range now let's deal. I think I received a voice mail from him, (I say thin because I was unable to tell who was calling due to background noise, very unprofessional) so I e mailed again and stated that we can deal now that the price has come down. the following week, the car ONCE AGAIN was reduced to $14493, below what I had originally offered, still no response. I e mailed today stating that lets deal because you are below what I offered so call or email me so we can make this happen, still no response. This by far has been the poorest internet sales/ sales experience ever, hands down. First he comes with the our price is firm when it has been reduced 3 times. the latest price is lower than what I have offered them. Arthur does not want to sell a car period, if he did, I would be driving the car today! Other dealership continually make contact with you and try to make a sale or make you happy. this person does not care. I cannot wait to get the automated reply from the sales department, just another form letter from an uncaring dealership only in it for the money! I seriously doubt that the dealership management has the guts to call or email me, we shall see. meanwhile, they have missed out on a sale because of their arrogant smug attitude.

I have been a customer for years and purchased both new and used cars here. They sincerely try to make customers comfortable. Some service members are really excellent. In the last few years I have noticed that the service department is difficult to reach by phone at times, so long sometimes I give up and try again later. Although my service is generally good to excellent, recently I scheduled a recall repair for my civic. When I arrived at 8am before going to work, I was told that the parts weren't in, and they would call me back when they arrived. They were slightly apologetic. But then I never got a call back. Weeks passed so I called back and was able to get in quickly and the parts were available. I still will go to Coggin Honda for repairs, but I am learning what service members are reliable and which are not. Trial and error.

Marcial Mercado was my salesman. I knew what I wanted .. . 2015 Honda Pilot, and knew what I wanted to pay. I had a trade and we came to terms on that. Marcial made it happen and it was seamless. He obtained the vehicle from another Coggin dealership and it was ready the next day. ALL was good! He gave info with regard to a lease, and also for a sale with financing at.09% for 36 months. I made an informed decision and purchased the Pilot. NO hard pressure for anything, told me about a protection package and finance guy told me about extended warranty and prepaid maintenance. The only thing I can say is that if I had taken the time to really understand the benefits of a prepaid maintenance program or extended warranty, I 'might' have purchased. So, a little better education from dealership 'before' heading into the finance dept might benefit both parties. Once again, there was NO pressure to purchase, and straight forward coming to terms on price! ALL good ... . recommend Marcial Mercado .. . he sells soooo many cars for a reason!

I ordered for oil change, exterior wash and tire rotation. The oil change covers wiper fluid refill generally. It was empty when I left. The check list says its filled but it was not. When I went back there not even a sorry, "no problem will do it for you" was the response. And the wash quality was bad. I doubt if they did any wash at all. By looking at these i doubt the rotation was done or not.

I had been shopping around, both both online and dealerships, for a new Civic sedan. Trying to match features, price and availability had left me somewhat frustrated. Then I get a call from Nelson Merced of Coggin Orlando. First he took the time to actually listen to my situation and what I was looking for. One hour later he had located my car and emailed a purchase proposal that completely exceeded my expectations in every way. That afternoon we worked out insurance, tag, and purchase details over the phone and net. Next day he delivered my car, over 100 miles, to my doorstep. My advice to anyone looking for a new Honda - figure out what you want, then call Nelson.

After going to Coggin Honda, I will never step foot in there again!!!!When we first arrived we were approached by a sales man, who showed us the car we wanted and everything was good. However, when we sat down to talk numbers he started to give us high numbers that we could not afford. He kept insisting that what he was offering was the best deal he could give us. He would tell us how much the monthly payments would be, however, when we asked how much the car price was he kept dogging the question. This dealer was not informing us correctly, he was just throwing numbers and was twisting our arms to take the deal. Us not feeling well informed, and pressured into taking the deal we were of course hesitant to take it. When we told him we were going to leave and think about it, he called his manager over. The manager was horrible!!!! he was trying to pressure us and when we said no he pretty much told us were the door was!I do not recommend this place to anyone.

We were traveling from Pa. on vacation. Engine light came on. Went to Coggins Honda for service. Diagnosed engine missfire. Needed cylander rings replaced. It was a two day repair. They arragned for a rental car for us. Our vehicle was still under warranty. Our service advisor was Johnathan Camacho. He was fantastic. Very caring. Kept us informed about progress of repairs. We took the car (Honda Odyssey) in on a Thursday morning and he had us back on the road by Friday afternoon. He even came in on his day off to make sure our van was ready when promised. This man is a valuable asset to the Coggin dealership. He made what could have been a very frustating vacation a very enjoyable one.

I was driving through Orlando from out of state when my car broke down, and Coggin Honda did everything possible to get me back on the road quickly and safely. Their service was fantastic! Our experience today was beyond horrific. After test driving the new 2015 Fit, we decided to consider making a deal. After learning they had new Fits due to arrive tonight/tomorrow morning, we asked to see what kind of deal they could offer. After agreeing on an LX automatic that was coming in, we attempted to negotiate our deal with Alvin. He literally told us where we could find the door when we tried to negotiate a better deal than what he offered. This was after an hour of back and forth because he would not budge from MSRP. So we left.Long story short, we came back and advised Sasha and Alvin we would take the lease deal previously offered at 240 per month. We advised Sasha what our credit score was verbally and agreed to fill out the Credit App to start the process. Alvin then proceeded to tell us there was nothing he can do unless we had a 660 or above credit score and he would "call us tomorrow." Didn't I already advise you my score? He let us fill out the application and run our credit only to tell us no? Btw, we have tier 2 credit, not exactly a roach in my opinion. We are so glad Alvin blew us off. He was the most disrespectful person I have ever worked with. When we first met him, he reprimanded a sales associate right in front of us and made us very uncomfortable. After that, he literally told us where we could find the door and then once again blew us off after we came back to make the deal. Management should know that he's mean to customers and costs himself deals. Even the salesperson Sasha apologized for his behavior. Due yourself a favor and fire him.....

I received a call from Nelson Merced too see how I was enjoying my 2012 Honda CRV, and offered me a great deal to get a new 2014 CRV with no money out of pocket and no lease penalties for turning the car in early. It sounded too good to be true, however, within a few days, I was driving my new car and very excited as well. He also took care of a few things for me that I needed with this car and Nelson made it happen within 24 hours with one phone call.Now that is good customer service!!! After driving 5 Volvos over the past 15 years, I can honestly say, I like my Honda better, along with the great service. That's why I just got my second one!!! This dealership is great and I'm always treated well. Thank you Nelson for the follow up..

I will never go to this location ever again!! I got my car from a Coggin Honda in St Lucie County but live in Orlando. I went to this location to try and get a new tire. I just got my car last year, and still have a warranty for 8 years. I pay for the warranty every month!! These people would not change my stupid tire! I spent all this money on this car and just last month they did an oil change. But today its a different story? Please. Plus the front person was so rude. His name was Rosario, just so you know! He is so mean and will not let you speak to a supervisor! There was no attempt to help me or resolve the situation. I waited a half hour in total to walk away with a flat tire. BEWARE!

I would rather get a root canal than go to a Dealership. Robert at Coggin was very nice and professional that made it as pleasant as possible. He tried his hardest and actually negotiated a deal with my price. When he gave me my price, I thought o crud, now I'm committed. I had just been dealing with Napleton with a like vehicle and they wasted two hours of my time. One hour on a Sunday and they couldn't negotiate a price because they said a manager wasn't there. The following Friday another hour with no price, I walked out, and I know the owner. Well done for coggin.

I called the dealer and spoke with Nelson and Frederick regarding an existing quote I have. Upon that, they just want to match or make me a better offer and asked me to forward or proof of this quote.I called Coggins Honda of Orlando in less than a week more than 10 times and left messages for Mr. Nelson "that he never get" ... further more, I called today 10/24/14, I finally got the opportunity to speak to him and schedule an appointment the same day.Upon arrival ... I waited at least 15 minutes for Mr. Merced, and he showed me the vehicle and there was a lot of interruptions in-between for unknown reasons that my husband and i have to waited almost 30 minutes... we were thinking about leaving when Mr. Merced came back. With the good news!!!! That Coggin Honda will HONOR/MATCH THE QUOTE FROM THE DEALER I GOT!!! and I will not going to be charge for the extras!!!! AMAZING!!!!! Mr. Merced immediately started to trash talk about the other dealer .... pointing that they are well know for "switch n bait practices", and so far the ONLY UNETHICAL PARTIES ARE COGGINS by having people like you, so unprofessional, trying to under estimate people intelligence. WE are not IGNORANT people Mr.Merced, by far you are not offering a good deal or living up to the OFFER ME A BETTER PRICE DEAL!!!! You lie to me ... make me waste my time and drive 25 miles one way to meet you for a deal that you have no intentions to meet. Further more I was VERY CLEAR , on what I want and how I wanted and terms, you called a 3rd party, that was as unprofessional as you that did not presented himself accordingly, but put in front of us a sheet of possibles monthly payments. I purchased my 2012 Civic Si from this dealership. I just have to say that the service department is truly excellent. I always arrive with coupons to keep the cost down, the gentleman who always helps me with my car issues is very straight-forward and he will tell me if something needs to be taken care of immediately or if it can wait a while. The most memorable experience at this dealership happened when the sun roof of my car decided to stop working, just a few miles after the car had gone out of warranty. It was going to cost a small fortune to replace it. Eric was awesome, he made the proper phone calls to Honda and was able to get the vehicle repaired at no expense to me...thank goodness! The facility is clean and neat and the entertainment area is excellent, they always have snacks, fresh coffee and popcorn. I never mind the wait at all. Lastly, I also had some body work done on my vehicle after an unfortunate accident. They made the repair, and when there was an issue, they fixed it and even provided me with a rental car. Great people, great dealership. Good work!!

I had the best experiance ever shopping for a car. Coggin Honda beat thier competor by over $8,000, getting me into the car that I wanted and the right payments. My salesman Mike was awesome. He explained everything very well, and I did not feel pressured into buying. He got me top trade for my car, over 2700 more that one of their competitors. They located me the car I wanted and broght it from The St Augustine. He even delivered it to my front door. From now on, we will always shop at Coggin Honda for our Automoble needs. Coggin Honda Rocks! Also, where I got turned down for a decent finance rate. Coggin was able to get me a great rate for my less than average credit.

Unfortunately, my experience with Mike Moushon does not match those of prior reviews. I contacted six dealerships last month, online, to begin working out a price for a 2014 Honda Odyssey. Mike at Coggin provided the best car price of the six dealers by almost $1000...which was about $5,000 under MSRP. Two dealers provided a detailed quote sheet with an "out the door" price (including dealer, tag, and title fees and sales tax). I asked him if they would throw in 2nd row seat covers, and he said "most customers don't care about those." I don't care about other customers! After asking for a final price via e-mail, he didn't respond for two days. I sent him another e-mail with two questions...was the car he responded with still available, and to clarify the car price, the dealer fee, plus sales tax and tag/title and that there would be other fees. He finally responded with an answer to the first question, but IGNORED the second. His response said he hadn't looked on the lot, but he could "grab" me one...when can I come over? Being that I live about an hour away, I wasn't going to drive over to Orlando to get jerked around, so decided he was not going to work out. I then came to an agreement with a dealer in Tampa and purchased the vehicle...and that dealer was one of the two that provided a detailed, written, price quote. Five days later, I received a phone call from Mike...he asked if I was still interested. When I told him he hadn't answer my pricing questions, he claimed that he had, even though I have the e-mails to prove otherwise. He blatantly lied to me on the phone, and after reading other reviews of individuals who received an e-mailed offer only to have the dealer tack on additional fees, or revoke their offer altogether, there was no way I was going to do business with Coggin. It's a shame...had he confirmed the financial details I asked him to, he would have certainly had a sale.

Words cannot express how unethical, deceptive and horrific our experience was at Coggin Honda of Orlando. I highly recommend anyone considering making a purchase from Coggin Honda of Orlando to read through reviews posted online and proceed with extreme cautionespecially if you are dealing with anyone from Internet Sales or have made any verbal agreements before wasting your time! After agreeing on a crystal clear deal and making an over the phone down payment to hold the car during our 90 min drive to Coggin we arrived to be haggled from the minute we walked in the door til the minute we left.Submitted an Edmunds view price now two days ago for a 2015 Honda Fit EX with the MSRP price of $19,025 crossed out with special offer listed in bold below. Within minutes we received a nice auto-response email from Coggin Honda of Orlando signed by Michael Frederick, Internet Sales Manager as well as a vm shortly after. After researching fair market price and several local deals I returned Michaels vm two days later. I spoke briefly with Michael and he informed me the price was pretty firm at $19,025 since this car was in high demand. After several hours I called back and was connected with Nathan Schreiber since Mike was busy. I reviewed with Nathan that Mike had told me $19,025 was fairly firm but that I had just spoken to another Honda dealer in Central Florida that was able to offer me the following deal: $350-month for 60 months with $450 down payment (which covered the estimated new tag cost), around Hondas advertised 1.9% APR and confirmed several times the monthly payments includes all taxes, dealer fees and any outstanding costs. I told NATHAN SCHREIBER that this dealer was not receiving this blue 15 Fit EX until next week and that if they could match that deal (since they had the car in blue my wife wanted) that I would immediately provide him a good faith deposit and head straight to the dealership to purchase. Nathan asked if I had the outstanding deal in writing from the other Honda dealer in writing and I explained it was a verbal agreement. After two emails, three phone calls and an online extended credit application Nathan accepted my $450 tag down payment and we were on the way to buy the car as agreed upon over the phone. On the drive down my wife and I discussed how this was the most pleasant car buying experience to date.The minute we walked in Coggin Honda of Orlando that all changed. We were told Nathan would be right out and shortly later Michael kindly greeted us, explained how busy hed been all day and that he would just need to get the paperwork and details from Nathan since he was unaware and just the middleman. Waited, signed a credit report (which had already been run) and waited some more. Michael then brought out a paper with a deal for $377 for 72 months w/ $450 down$6,144 MORE than my verbal agreement and down payment with Nathan Schreiber two hours previously over the phone. He explained that they had just added Coggin Honda extras including Nitrogen in wheels, wheel locks, trunk tray (which were both in original packaging in the trunk) but we were told would be installed before we left.Please note the sticker on the car clearly was labeled $19,025 and these extras were around $3k.In fairness to Mike he never discussed any terms over the phone, told me that and said hed check with Nathan and be back. I honestly feel that Mike Frederick was honest at all times unlike ever other employee there and would recommend him and him only. After several more exchanges Mike and a boss came back offering $378 month for 66 months, $450 down. I again explained I had agreed to the $350 month deal and made down payment with Nathan, asked to speak to Nathan or else we had to leave. Mike and his boss came back again with some new numbers far from my initial agreement with Nathan so we thanked them for their time and walked away to head home. Nelson Merced approached us as we were getting in our car to head home and explained he was the Internet Sales Director, had overheard our conversation, and wanted to do whatever it took to make things right. Reluctantly we agreed to come back inside. After re-explaining the situation Nelson said he would personally look into and get right back to us. I cant remember the first offer he came back with but the second offer was for $375 for 60 months, $450 down. And Nelson was so kind to offer us the Coggin Honda upgrade package not on the sticker nor asked for a steal at only $500 on top of the $19,025. Not sure what he didnt get about the fact that the back and white deal with Nathan Schreiber was already agreed upon asking me if I was stuck on the $500 for the amazing extra package he was providing me. At that time he came back and said they couldnt offer anything better, asking me to come back after the other Honda dealership would not commit to their agreement we had originally discussed. He then had the nerve to imply once again I was lying stating he just spoke to this Honda dealer and they had all of the same extras on the car in their lot when I informed him again it was not arriving until the following week. Went back inside before leaving to have them refund my $450 deposit that went smoothly. As I was leaving Nelson once again asked if I was sure there wasnt anything they could do to earn my business and I stated once again simply honor the $350 deal 60 month $450 down negotiated around $18,530 sell price and he asked me if I had done my math correct for the 1.9% Honda APR deal expiring 9/2 as 0.019%. Ive NEVER Been so disrespected in my entire life. NEVER in my life Have I felt so deceived, lied to, taken advantage of or treated with zero respect. Ive been in sales for the past 20 years and would NEVER dream of treating a customer nor another HUMAN as Coggin Honda acted. I dont fault Michael as he seemed very honest, even Nelson as he was caught in the middle. But DO NOT work with NATHAN by any means!!!PLEASE do your research online prior to wasting your time here and search reviews, etc. Maybe theres a reason Coggin Honda of Orlando is NOT BBB certified?!? FTC Sweeps 10 Auto Dealers in Jan 2014, maybe the missed one here. Please do your homework and leave honest feedback so others avoid the headaches we had to deal with.

My 2006 Honda Accord with less than 72,000 miles was brought in to have the master window switch replaced and the AC unit checked as one side was blowing hot and one side was blowing cold. Both keys were given to the service tech Drew Craig in order for them to reprogram them due to the master window switch being replaced. One of the keys was returned broken and not programmed. When I returned to the dealership today to have them reprogram the key and address that it was broken while in the service department's possession I was told that they could not justify a $200 key for a 2006 car! The key was in working order when given to the Service department! I was told that I could glue the key fob back together. Once again, VERY DISAPPOINTED with Coggin Honda.

We first pulled into services, and Jonathan Camacho was the first one to speak and let us know we'll be helped. He provided us with great service while listening and telling us the procedure to getting our radio fixed. While they worked on it, we enjoyed the movie and snacks. Service was so great we schedule to have something else in the car fixed with Camacho. Everything went smoothly, but when it did get bumpy Camacho was there to reinsure us and help us with his best interest. It was really pleasant working with Jonathan camacho at The Honda dealership. Great service!

Worst experience ever. When I contact the dealer, I was already approved by my credit union, so I just needed to pick out a vehicle. I totaled my previous car and had to wait for GAP to finalize, etc., so I initially just went to test drive and talk with them. I met with Nathan S, and he wanted to see if he could finance me through Honda, which I knew they couldn't get me a better rate than my credit union, and I had no intention on financing with them when I was approved through my credit union with a good interest rate and have a great relationship with them. I told him to go for it and he came back and said they couldn't get me a better rate. Told you that. When I returned, to purchase my vehicle, I met with Todd and he was professional and nice. I felt comfortable with him. The finance guy...not so much. He demanded that they try to finance me with Honda. I told him Nathan had already tried and he kept saying, well we were under the impression this deal was going to be financed through Honda. I specifically said I was going through my credit union and was preapproved before I even came in to alleviate all of this crap. He kept saying, we have to try. I just said whatever. He comes back and hands me the paperwork to sign. He doesn't walk me through anything, he's just got this mug on his face the whole time. I guess he was frustrated that they practically gave me the car and couldn't get me to add anything "Honda" to it. He doesn't mention anything about the application outcome. He tried to offer me a warranty, but I said no b/c it would put me over the monthly payment I wanted to make & he got an attitude. So unprofessional! I understand your job is to sell but don't get an attitude if someone says no. If you're going to give it to me for free, fine but you wouldn't be the one paying for it, I would. After that foolishness is over, I get to finally take my car home. Another salesman, Michael F walked me to my car and set me up on bluetooth, etc. He was nice. But here's the kicker. I get the car home. The next morning, I have ants in it. I have had 3 cars in the last year and a half, this being the 4th, and have NEVER had one ant in my vehicle. I knew it had to be in there from the dealer. I took it back up there and Todd told me if I have them in there already, they were probably there when I bought it. They cleaned it out, which it was already clean, and did whatever they do. I called to see if my vehicle was ready and they couldn't find it in their system. Todd told me he would call me but he was off that day. So I went up there angry that I have to be dealing with this to begin with, I told them, somebody just give me my car. The receptionist gave me the keys, but no one knew where it was. I had to walk around the lot looking for it. I get it home and it still has ants in it. I knew they couldnt fix it unless they applied some kind of ant bait or something, but I wanted to give them a chance. I was sitting there holding back tears because I was so angry and I didnt want to go off and have to have the police escort me out of there. I would NOT recommend them at all. I filed a complaint with American Honda and the Better Business Bureau, but have decided I'm going to fix the ant problem on my own. They couldn't do it and I don't think they tried or care to fix it. I wouldn't be surprised if they did it on purpose the way the finance manager was acting. I have contacted a pest control company and they told me what to do. If I tried to do a trade-in, I would have to go over the whole application process all over again with my bank, and I just don't want to deal with it. I totaled my last vehicle just 2 weeks ago and its all too stressful. I will be taking my service needs to another dealer and will not be dealing with them ever again.

Purchased a new car and this is the second seal leak I had to have repaired however this last time I have come to get my car serviced I leave with a white dusty scrape on my right front bumper that is extremely fresh Eric scrapes it off. And says he had noted it was there before hand. When I never scraped hit bumped into anything with my 2 year old old but I can be blamed for something one of their service workers did and they can easily cover it up by stating it was there.

When we first bought our used 2010 Honda Civic here, the buying process seemed sufficiently pleasant and the facilities and sales people were all very nice. However the day after we brought the car home, the key was difficult to insert into the keyhole and had to be "jiggled" in order to fit properly into it. We called our salesperson right away who referred us to their locksmith. This locksmith had to change plans several times and finally we had to meet them on the side of the road to re-key the door. Well, something in the process went wrong and over the past 10 months the situation has gone from slightly annoying to absolutely unacceptable....to the point that I was stuck in a parking lot trying to fit my key into the ignition of my hot car for 30 minutes without any luck. And we called Coggin Honda about the issue, however it was no longer their problem, so there was "nothing they could do about it." That is NOT what you want to hear when you bought a car less than a year ago and the issue was supposedly fixed from day 2. So, $1,000 later, we have a new ignition and have re-keyed our whole car. The best part was, instead of offering to fix the problem, the sales manager asked us what we owed on the car and offered to trade it in (at our expense, of course). Needless to say, save yourself some time (and money) and go elsewhere to buy a car.

On a busy Saturday afternoon the service department went the "extra mile" to make sure that I was happy with a number of service items that I needed. I bought my 2011 CRV here and that was a painless experience as well, but this review pertains to the service department. My vehicle is out of warranty now. Never had an issue that was not normal maintenance. I have been to other local repair shops for maintenance. In the long run I find them to be more expensive and less reliable than Coggin Honda. Honda has the correct parts and the expertise to do the job correctly the first time. They get you in, make sure your satisfied, and get you out on your way. Facilities are great while you wait. The only thing they are missing is the complimentary "beer & wine" bar. But I understand.

Ed Armas as usual from the very first visit I ever made in 2010 for my Honda civic car 2010 till now with my 2012 civic have been very attentive and knows how to give me advises about car maintenance and excellent customer satisfaction. I give him 5 stars. As for new service guy Yoel Rodriguez for a beginner in your dealershipis good enough and given the right time and experience he could bring out the best in him. To one new employee of this department needs to be respectful when customer call back after her visit if she has a question than denying her call and pretend he was not there is a bad customer service on the phone! I give that guy 2 stars..

I was in contact with sales personnel at Coggin Honda of Orlando regarding a 2014 CR-Z EX. Over the course of many days we exchanged several phone calls and emails to agree upon a deal. They requested VIN numbers for my trade-ins, detailed photos and information regarding their history and condition. The salesperson and I agreed upon an OUT THE DOOR price of the Black 2014 CR-Z EX for $24,000 including the 5 year / 100k mile warranty, with my two trade-ins and including the payoff that I owe ($8300) on the motorcycle trade. I sent them all of the requested information, including detailed photos and descriptions. The sales person told me that they would work with this. I specifically emailed them stating that I didnt want to drive down to Orlando from Jacksonville to be told the deal couldnt be done. Afterwards, I was told that the GSM (General Sales Manager?) JR was aware of both of my trades and had the email read to him, and he saw no problem in doing this deal ($24,000 and the two trades, including the balance owed on the motorcycle for the CR-Z EX with the 5yr 100k miles warranty). They then asked me to come in, and asked when I could.I took one of my very few days off from work to drive over three hours from Jacksonville to your Orlando dealership in the weekend traffic and rain. My salesperson informed me via text that she would be in shortly since I arrived early, and she was at church. So, she was inconvenienced as well. While awaiting her arrival at the dealership I looked at several of your vehicles just to pass the time. One aspect that really caught my attention in a negative way was this; while walking up and down rows of cars, and multiple salesmen outside making eye contact with me, for nearly 30 minutes or so, not a single employee approached me on the lot and asked if I needed help. I even entered the dealership, used the restroom, and exited without a single acknowledgement from a salesperson, except the front desk girl saying Hi. Very perplexing. So I left, grabbed some lunch, and returned to meet my salesperson.We went for a quick test drive in the CR-Z I selected, just to make sure it was the right one for me. Shortly after we then returned to the dealership to do the paperwork (or so I thought). While walking inside, my salesperson said Were just going to go inside and work up the numbers. That phrase was an ominous foreshadowing to the deceptive business practices that were to come. My immediate thoughts were, Work up what numbers? Weve already agreed upon the terms, conditions, and out the door price! After sitting down, I was informed that the out the door price would be $26,600.I was astounded! Quite perplexed I asked her to review the numbers with me. It turns out that price wasnt even including the warranty which was supposed to be included in the deal. After asking her about the warranty they informed me that the final out the door price would be closer to $29,000! There I just stopped the encounter, asked for my drivers license and keys for my car, and informed them I would be leaving. I was asked to show them the copies of our email agreement, as if to prove what was promised to me. Now my integrity was being called into question, subtly . So, I gladly handed the salesperson my phone with all of our emails and agreements and she took it to her sales managers. She came back and said there wasnt anything that could be done! With that I was left shocked, feeling disgust and anger. Silently I got up, asked for my keys and license, and headed towards the door. On my way out my salesperson followed me and addressing the sales managers told them I came all the way from Jacksonville and was returning without the vehicle, they just sat there, with careless expressions on their faces and said nothing. I don't blame Ms. Rue, your management team on the other hand is completely at fault. Approving a transaction one day, BAITING a customer, then retracting the proposal after the customer is in store is a textbook example of deceptive trade practices, UNACCEPTABLE! A formal policy statement made by the FTC in 1988 states: currently, a practice is deceptive if it will likely mislead a consumer, acting reasonably under the circumstances, to that consumer's detriment. That perfectly defines my ordeal with Coggin of Orlando.NEVER in my life have I felt so deceived, betrayed, used, and foolish. Its amazing to think I was originally asked to ride my motorcycle in and have a family member bring my car too, so then I could have been wet and disgraced while simultaneously inconveniencing my family as well! We have owned several Honda automobiles, but if this situation isnt corrected our current accord will be the last Honda I ever own, and will be sure to make this story known to every person I come in contact with. This entire ordeal was a disgrace to the Honda of America brand, and was insulting to myself. I expect Honda to honor our original agreement and offer me compensation for this situation which should have NEVER happened in the first place. If I could rate 0/5 I would!Edit: Today I received a follow-up call from Coggin Honda of Orlando regarding my previous bad review. Ms.Rue called today and "offered" (attempted to bribe) me with less than originally agreed upon (see my last review on how they baited me to their dealership, and then REFUSED to honor their written promises).I was told she would honor our previous written agreement regarding a 2014 crz ex, UPON THE CONDITION THAT I FIRST REMOVE THE NEGATIVE REVIEW! What nerve!When I asked Ms.Rue about the warranty which was part of our original agreement, she said that she absolutely could not include it. So one day via email she can, then after their bait - and - switch is discovered, their whole offer changes?! It sounds like this dealer just doesn't want the public to know of their DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES! When I told them that my review wouldn't be removed until they honored our original agreement and I was a satisfied customer, she just HUNG UP ON ME! This is the absolute example of customer disservice!Coggin Honda is attempting to conceal their deception! Maybe they will try to deceive me a third time? Since day one, and my first correspondence with coggin I was completely honest and transparent of what I expected and was willing to do. Coggin Honda of Orlando used trickery and deception in an attempt to lure me in and boost their profits while simultaneously imposing an undue burden and detriment upon me!Don't let yourself be deceived, find a dealership that is upfront and honest with is customers.

On January 21 2014 I went to Coggin Honda of Orlando to trade my car. Everything went well until I went to finance, Mr. Sammy Naba convince me to by buy extended warranty so he can drop my rate by 1%. He also said I can call to cancel the extended warranty after the loan is approved. My vehicle extended warranty maintenance contract is from Fidelity Warranty Services, Inc. (FWS). On February 10th, 2013 I call FWS Insurance and told them to cancel the contract due to fact I can cancel in 90 day with 100% refund. The person on the phone told me I have to go to Coggin Honda of Orlando to cancel the contract. The next day I went to the dealer and cancel the insurance. The finance manager Mr. Osama Abu-Naba'a told me it would take 2 to 3 weeks for the $5800 to credit back to my account. I call several times and he told me they send the money to the bank. I contact the bank but, they never receives the check. On March 25th, 2014 I went back to the dealer and spoke to the head of finance Mr. Jason Pangle he told me Mr.Osama Abu-Naba'a had never canceled the insurance and he will do it himself. Still today the bank has not received the check and either of these guys wanted to talk to me. I want to report this as breach of contract and fraudulent activities and bad business practices. Please do not do business with them.

Im writing this review to express my frustration and disappointment with Coggin Honda of Orlando. On April 2, 2014, I purchased a 2011 Honda Civic from the Used Card Department. I also purchased an Optional Service Contract for $2,668.89 from Coggin Honda. The contract was with JM&A Group/Fidelity Warranty Services, Inc. On April 17, 2014 I returned to Coggin Honda to cancel the Service Contract. An employee in the Contract Department completed the Cancellation Form and had me to sign. The employee told me it would take approximately 4-6 weeks to receive the refund from JM&A. After six weeks passed, I contacted JM&A to check the status of the refund. I was told they never received the Cancellation Form from Coggin Honda of Orlando. The JM&A employee asked me if I had a copy of the Cancellation Form, which I did have. I faxed it to them and they began the refund process. They said they would be returning $2,506.00. I was told by JM&A employee that the remaining $162.89 in taxes should be returned to me by Coggin Honda. I telephoned the Contract Dept. employee about the tax refund. That employee told me that I would have to speak with the Accounting Supervisor. He transferred my phone call to the Accounting Supervisor. When she came on the line I introduced myself and explained the reason for my call. She immediately became irate and spoke to me in a hostile tone of voice. I asked her kindly to be civil, theres no reason to be harsh with me. She said we dont usually return tax charges after 30 days. Ms. Caldwell further said shell look into this and then cut me a check. As of this date, I havent received a check or telephone call from anyone at Coggin Honda of Orlando.

My wife and I have been Honda customers for over 16 years and we recently moved to Orlando so we left our loyal dealership behind. It was time to trade in our 2008 Odyssey so we educated ourselves on the the 2014 Odyssey's features and price. We now just had to find a dealership to purchase from, we visited all of the Honda dealers within a 50 mile radius of Orlando and never eve was offered a test drive. The search made us considered a Toyota Sienna after a visit to some of the Honda dealers. We decided to stop into Coggin just to give the Odyssey one more shot and actually test drive it. We arrived there on Friday at 8:00pm after work and we were not planning on doing anything but test driving and coming back on the weekend. The main reason was because we have all 4 of our kids with us and we were all tired. We were introduced to a salesman (Sal) by a customer who was leaving the dealership with their new car. Sal was interested in understanding our reason for the visit at the time. He asked us what we were looking for and got right to showing us a van with the options we wanted. He wanted to make a deal that would make us happy and we were totally fine with the the price of the new car and the amount they were giving us for our trade. "We do understand they do need to profit a bit". Once we said yes it was about 9:20pm, and pulled the van into the shop to prepare it for delivery in which they did not take any shortcuts. The challenge as stated earlier we had our 4 kids with us 1 year old twins, a 5 year old and an 8 year old. While we were waiting for the van and doing the financing paperwork they went above and beyond to make my family comfortable. We left with our van and are completely satisfied, I also want to note we stopped back in to pick up some accessories they ordered for us and they still wanted to ensure we were 100% satisfied. Everyone we had interaction with was professional and courteous, great job Coggin! JS

I was aiming to trade my car and taking a new accord car. They had a discount sale and they refuse to give me the price of the car after sale. I talk to one guy their and I believe the manger they were very very rude and they want to take my car with only 7000 dollars although other Honda branch said that it deserves 11000 dollars. He told me the sale price is only an advertisement. I wonder how can tow Honda branches check the same care in the same week with a price difference of 4000 dollars. The experience was horrible. He was attacking me when I was talking and when I told him to take my car with the same price the other branch suggested he said we are not opening this place for charity. I suggest you never deal with people of this branch and if anyone know a number of a person that I can complain to please provide it to me . Honda was my favorite car , now I will not buy it and will not suggested to anyone I know. I will go for Toyota even if it is expensive at least the people their are way much respectful and HONEST.

I was on holiday in Orlando and had to get my Honda Pilot serviced (seized oil dipstick). This occurred during the Memorial Weekend. I urgently needed to have this problem repaired as I was driving back to Ottawa (2 days drive) after the weekend. Drove to Coggin Honda and met with Advisor Fernando Munoz. Even if they had never seen this type of problem before (problem caused by rust) they went all out to make sure my vehicle was serviced in time for my departure from Orlando. Both Fernando and the service manager went out of their way to reassure me and took good care of us. They even had a rental car ready for us. All I can say is thank you to Fernando and his manager for the professionalism they showed during our visit to their dealership. I would not hesitate a second to recommend Coggin Honda to a friend.

I was looking for a 2007-2011 Camry. I lasted almost 3 weeks looking for the Camry. I had some ok and not so ok experience at other dealers. I was driving on OBT and saw a Camry on the Coggin Honda lot. I walked in and asked to see the car. Mark Bhimani was the salesman that helped me. Mark is the best salesman ever. He was very nice and knowledgeable. Mark made us feel at home. I wish I would have gotten to Coggin before the other dealers. Erik Gunnarsson helped us with the final price of the car. Sammy De La Rosa was the finance manager. I only stay with cars for 3 yrs, I will go back to Mark so I can trade my 2010 Camry. Mark you are the best. I wish all salesman were like you. Arthur Was as expected a "car salesman". He kindly showed us a 2001 Honda odyssey that was ready to be shipped to the auction. it was a total repaint not detailed bad tires in general disrepair. he said after dealer inspection that he could save us a bunch of money and fit this Van $3000.00 under our budget. We did not feel comfortable with the option of purchasing the car at $6000 with our trade in on top of it. After checking Kelly blue book at home later in the evening the 2001 Odyssey price range, we would have over paid to the tune of $3000.00 purchasing from Aurthur. Kelly blue book was right about $4000.00 for a 2001 Honda odyssey. Thanks Arthur.......RegardsDan

We bought a new car under the Costco Auto Program. Nathan Schreiber was our point of contact, and he was very knowledgeable about both the car and the Costco program. He was very courteous, personable, and helpful. Once we agreed to a car that had to be "dealer traded" from Tampa, he went and got the car and brought it back the same day! That's what I call above and beyond. We'd done our homework in the St. Augustine area, and this was the best price by far! We also test drove about 13 different car brands (it's been 20 years since we bought a new car), and Honda had the best package of useful features at a price well below others. The LaneWatch that uses a camera to display the right lane when you're changing lanes or turning right is a special favorite. NO ONE else had it; they have "blind spot indicators" that are either useless, unnoticeable, or plain annoying. Very happy! Only suggestion we'd have for anyone using the Costco Program to buy a new car is to find an alternative to trading in your old car. The Costco discount is so deep there's not much room for the dealership to be generous with the trade-in allowance.
