The entire process at this location has been a runaround nightmare!!I came to look at trucks they didn't have what I wanted and made a fuss about having to get the truck from another location. Once the vehicle was here everything was fine (for a day). I traded in my vehicle and purchased the truck on 10/22/2016. When I went to sign the paperwork on the vehicle they had the wrong vin for the truck I was purchasing so I had to point it out to them so they could update it. Since I purchased it at night on a weekend I had to bring it back to get it detailed. When they dropped the truck back off to me my keys were given not to me but to a random person in my office. When I inspected my vehicle I found a brand new scratch on a door that went completely through all the paint. I contacted the dealership and took pictures and was told they will fix it. When I brought it in I had to speak to someone different and he told me I would have to pay $150 to get the door painted. So not only are they not accountable for their employees mistakes they want me to pay for the damages because "it's a used vehicle"... After going back and forth for some time they finally agreed to do a "we owe" to repaint the door. At this time my truck is in the collision center and I guess we will see if they do a good job. In addition, I have had this truck for seventeen days now and still my trade-in vehicle has not been paid off. Nor has my new lienholder received their loan paperwork to complete my loan. The new lienholder contacted me to see if I could reach out to the dealership and let them know they need to send them the paperwork. I contacted the dealership several times to no avail about the new lienholder and to get my trade-in vehicle paid off and I have yet to hear back from anyone regarding this matter. On top of that, they already sold my trade-in to a new customer so it will have two liens on the title; sounds legit right.. The dealership staff constantly harass me via text messages acting as if we are friends when in fact I came to their dealership for a service, the service being to purchase a vehicle and trade mine in. So far that service has not been completed still. Why? I'm not sure, can anyone tell me??

BEWARE !!!! Might be a great place to buy a car, but Do NOT take your vehicle to Coggin Collision Center if you expect to have it repaired and returned in a timely manner!!! They have now had my vehicle for 4 weeks (dropped off 8/16/16) for a 5-6 day repair job with still no estimated completion date!!! Today is 9/8/16... Day 23 in repair shop. USAA is livid and today I found out that they cut off my rental car as of 8/31/16.... so unless someone makes things right, it looks like I am going to be stuck with a $500+ rental bill that shouldn't cost me anything!!!! The only comment I got from the body shop rep and manager was, well if you have rental coverage, your insurance coverage should just cover it (the extended time the body shop has my car), ie - not the body shop's problem!!! From what I hear, the workmanship is good.... but geeeez, at what cost of time, money, and aggrivation!!! I WILL NOT BE BACK and I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS REPAIR SHOP TO ANYONE I LIKE OR CALL A FRIEND !!!! 9/9/16 - Now Day 24. Car still in shop and still no resolution or response or update back from the repair shop advisor or body shop manager since yesterday's conversations. Also sent an email letter to the GM of the dealership, but no response there either. 9/12/16 - Day 27. Wow, today I spoke with the GM Wayne Watkins on his cell phone from Alaska. He is away on a hunting trip... He said he would look into the situation and have someone call me back today... The result: NOTHING DIFFERENT. Car will bill be ready Wednesday, 9/14/16 but Management's stance is that a month is "normal" for a repair... in their book, every $1,000 of repair cost = 1 week of repair time, soooooo my $4,000 repair is supposed to take a month to complete!!!! Wow!!! Funny though... when I do the math, deducting parts, the repair and paint labor cost total of $1125 divided by the labor rate is, at best, no more than 25 hours of labor... Hmmmmm.... Generously dividing 25 by 2 instead of the insurance industry 4 or 5 still only yields 12.5 or 13 days in the shop.. .NOT 30. YOU do the math and tell me if I am crazy!!! Still, the bottom line right now is that Coggin is still not going to cover my 2-weeks of out of pocket rental cost and they have no explanation for the communication gap with USAA, nor did they offer to provide any info or explanation to USAA for the length of time for the repair. As I've been saying... DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE FOR REPAIRS IF YOU ARE EXPECTING TIMELY WORK OR YOUR INSURANCE TO PROVIDE YOU A RENTAL FOR THE FULL LENTGTH OF THIS SHOP'S REPAIR TIME !!!! THE CUSTOMER HAS NO IMPORTANCE TO THIS REPAIR SHOP!!! 9/13/16 - Day 28: I get a call that my car is ready. Talked to USAA rep, said she talked with Body shop manager who was rude and belligerent, again offering no explanation for the 2-week delay in repair time other than "they were backed up and very busy". Without a valid reason for delayed repair, USAA denied rental extension. Repair shop manager also refused to cover the uncovered time. Went to pay my deductible by credit card, body shop refused to accept it as payment since I might dispute the charge because of the excess time. Also refused to accept a check... Cash only because "they deserve full payment for the work they did". The result: They would not allow me to pick up my car after all I've been through. I tried to see a dealer manager, but I just got shuffled from one building to another and then was told "he stepped out, but we will have him call you tomorrow..." Wow !!! Customer service is dead in the Coggin Collision Center!!! You are completely at their mercy and they will bully you until you cave and give in 9/14/16 - 11am - No follow-up further contact from Coggin. So much for management follow-up. Car is now being held hostage at Coggin.... they will accept cash only for my deductible, will not accept credit card or check from me.

Service adviser Paula Williams was great. My vehicle was service in a short amount of time as I waited. The vehicle was not dirty with grease and oil on the inside as I have experience in some situations.One item of concern is that there was not any fresh coffee available, two pots was sitting there and neither had coffee.

Been in the hosp and on a walker for 11 months, ask Pauls if they would wash my baby and vac after the service. She did and it looked nice, when I got home and my wife was helping me out I noticed that door kick plates not not been touched and a lot of green mold around the outside mirrors were still there; however for free it will do. As for all the parts that I needed to purchase to complete the job I found it sorry. Maybe because I bought a Chevy at a Buick Dealer. I had a Pontiac for 10 yrs and always serviced at Coggins. Thanks PS the resturans I visitonce or twice a week, I give the waiter a Tip on my C/C, but not at Coggins.!!!! c

I brought in my 2015 Sierra for service, repair and recalls. I had purchased an extended warranty with my truck. The recalls were not covered because it was out of factory warranty?!?! The step repair was not covered even though its an obvious design flaw. Then finally it sat for 10 days waiting on the body shop to every get started! They told me 10 days to 2 weeks to complete. I thought that was too long but I was going to be out of town anyway. When I called to check on it, they hadn't even started. I picked it up and won't be back. Waste of time and waste of money on the extended warranty. Never again.

I recently purchased a vehicle from this dealership while on an overseas assignment. I was really nervous since I would be purchasing a car, sight unseen. However, these guys were great and they went above and beyond to ensure that everything went as smoothly as possible. The sales team went out and took additional pictures, looked at the cars themselves personally and told me their honest opinions of the vehicle and even offered to help purchase items I would need right away. As if they weren't already friendly and courteous enough, they stayed after hours to pick us up from the airport and drive me to the dealership the night I flew in. I dealt with various associates at the dealership and they were all great to work with but if I had to recommend two it would be Walid Baroody and PJ Knipp who help me with the purchase of my vehicle. I could not be happier with the customer service, sales team, and buying process. They made the entire process simple; it was a breeze. I highly recommend buying from your local Coggin Dealer at Buick-GMC of Orange Park. As a matter of fact we are already planning to purchasing another car from them.

7th car from themy in 20 years from these guys! GMC/Wayne Watkins... Great guy!!! Like I said this was our 7th car in 20 years and the experience keeps getting better and better. We ordered a 2015 Yukon Denali, 3rd one... and all we can say is WOW, best one yet!!! We had a little problem with the Denali about 2 months in, check engine light... called Wayne (GM) on his cell phone and he had someone come drop a Yukon to my work and pick up the other one. The rest of the guys from Ted, Cory, and Gus were incredible as well... we stopped by to look at truck at 7:30 pm on a Saturday night and they had us out by 8pm... signed sealed delivered. Thank you Guys for making buying a automobile such a wonderful experience!

Stopped in for a service (oil change, tire rotation, etc.) without an appointment. Service Department was kind enough to squeeze me in on a busy day. Service writer handled a recall that I wasn't even aware of. Overall it was a good experience and would have been great if I hadn't had the opportunity to sit in the waiting room as long as I did.

My husband and i went to several dealerships along the strip on blanding blvd. We stopped looking when we came to coggins. I originally came in to look at a 2006 car i had my heart set on, but two days later i walked out with the keys to a 2012 chevy impala with really low miles ( which was one thing i was a stickler on ) and it had to fit into our payment plan. i was very pleased with our sales person Patrick. He was very patient with me in making a decision in what i wanted and also brought in Wayne to help as well. Patrick was not pushy in any way and at times very funny for a salesman. The people at the dealership new that this car was going to be my 24th wedding anniversary present from my husband so they went out of their way to make this a great experience. So bottom line i would recommend this dealership hands down if your buying new or used..

My wife and I drove over two hours to meet Mr. Leonard at Coggin. We were interested in a cruze, but he let us drive a much nicer Jetta. We fell in love with the Jetta and were out a few hours later. I had a horrible experience. I am not trying to judge this company online, but feel like I need to share my experience as I was manipulated by them. After signing a bunch of paperwork for a Ford truck I was buying, I then put a cash deposit down. We made arrangements to meet the next morning to pay the balance, as it was 6pm & the banks were closed. I put the cash down to lock the deal - so I was told. Called the next morning to say I was on my way - still no problems. I get to the dealership that morning & was then told the truck was sold in the 12 hours I was not there. What was the point of the paperwork + deposit??? In reference to the cash deposit, I was told they're not responsible by law to refund back to me, but they will give it back if I wait an hour for the manager to get back into the office (like they are doing me a huge favor.) Hope my story helps someone shopping here. Very shady stuff going on at this dealership. Buyer Beware.

We were dreading the car buying process, however this experience changed our view and showed us what a real car buying process should be like. I have bought many cars in my life and I have to say that buying at Coggin GMC from Walid Baroody has to be my best experience yet! From the initial contact Walid made after my internet inquiry to handing over my check, he was nothing but a friend to me, my wife and kids. Including days after the sale. His knowledge of the vehicle, laid back style and NON PUSHY demeanor was a welcomed experience that I look forward to doing again one day. The other staff we interacted with were great too, Kurt and Gus made the negotiation and paperwork process fun and rewarding to my personal finances. I really can't say enough about the team we worked with. Plus we were only there a total of 2.5 hours and an hour of that was looking and driving our Yukon XL Denali. I most definitely will check these guys out when it comes time to replace my 2011 GMC Sierra, I wish I would have bought it from Walid and Coggin a year ago. Too bad the dealership is an hour plus from my house because I'd like to check out their service department too. The entire dealership facility was clean, modern and comfortable. Great job in earning my business Walid!!

Our overall experience with Mr. Tad Frederick was excellent. We got to the dealership one hour before close and were pretty sure that the used car we wanted to look at was out of our price range; however, we wanted to see the car and take if for a test drive just to see if it was something we would like. I did have the numbers I could afford just in case we could make a deal, but I had every intention of walking if the numbers were too high. To make things more interesting, we had my 6 month old son with us so at any moment he could end the visit for us, though he is normally well behaved when we venture out. When we got to the dealership, Tad greeted us and knowing we only had an hour, I got right down to business, pointing out the car we wanted to see. Tad went and got the keys along with the keys for another vehicle I mentioned but was on the fence about. We saw the car we wanted to see and the other one. Tad was very friendly and knowledgeable about the cars. He did ask over another salesman to assist, Mr. Anthony Gioia, being that Tad had admittedly not been with the dealership long and was still learning all the finer points of these particular vehicles. The discussion with Tad was very low pressure. It felt like I was over at a neighbor house looking at a car they were thinking about selling. Once it got down to offer time, Tad walked us back into the office, took down some information and then we waited a bit for the back office to run a few numbers for us. While we were waiting, the other salesmen were coming over and playing with our baby son who was having a good time, lucky for us. At this point, I expected to see a number I couldn afford and was ready to leave for the evening; however, the number Tad presented to me was close enough to my numbers that I couldn just walk away. We really liked the car we looked at and they offerored a more than fair trade in price for our car. I told Tad I wanted to step outside and talk it over with my wife. He said, o ahead, Il be right here, take all the time you need.My wife and I decided that it was still outside what we could currently afford so I went back in to tell Tad. Once I explained the situation Tad and another gentleman named Paul asked what I could afford. I showed them the numbers I had pulled from certain websites and told them that was it. Tad and Paul looked at what I had and said, e can work with this.My wife stepped outside to walk our baby son around the parking lot. He was behaving like an angel which is telling of the environment were dealing in. While they were working up the last numbers, Tab and Paul gave me a bottle of water and even offered to walk my son around so my wife could come in and hear the final numbers. Ultimately, we came to the deal that I had thought was unlikely before we got there. However, I did have to come back the next day to finalize it because it had gotten so late. The next day, everyone that was involved with the deal said hello and then Tad showed me to the finance manager, Gus. Gus had actually worked up a slightly better deal than what I had agreed to the night before, and offerored some warranty options. Because of the type of car I was buying, I decided that I should get a warranty. Even the bargaining for the warranty was low pressure and Gus was able to work out yet another deal I could afford. I have had a lot of car buying experiences in my life and I would have to say that this was the best personal and professional experience I have ever had buying a car AND ended up getting the deal I walked in the door hoping to get. I would recommend Cogggin Buick GMC of Orange Park to anyone, friend or family, based on experience with Tad and all the other the folks at the dealership backing him up.

PJ, Ray, Walli and Gus were outstanding and extremely professional in all my dealings. There was NO pressure sales pitch, They were straight forward and very knowledgeable in the vehicle I was purchasing. They went above and beyond to insure I had a full understanding about the vehicle. Gus, the outstanding professional I know he is was extremely knowledgeable about the finance side of my purchase. He got me the BEST interest rate possible and his professional approach insure my wife and I closed our purchase in a minimum time. Thank you goes out to everyone for a JOB WELL DONE.

My experience with this dealership was my first. The salesman was courteous and friendly, not pushy. The dealership was clean and comfortable. The wait was the usual long, 3-4 hour process. The financing was average although I had requested the advertised 3.9% special finance rate, and though I have very good credit, I did not receive it and no explanation given, but by that time, I was too tired to pursue it. Overall it was not an unpleasant experience, just the average long process.

Saw the exact car I wanted online. It was used but it was exactly what I wanted. Went in to go see it. After stating we wanted the car the following afternoon and given the ok to start processing our papers, another sales person sells the car to another customer just because they were "ready" with their papers. Absolutely ridiculous. Called the GM and he couldn't even help and he didn't really even seem like he cared. I know it's about business, but that is definitely not how to run a good one. You not only lost our business, but whoever we tell. For a first time car buyer, this was the absolute worst time. Ended up going to a different dealership, COGGIN NISSAN on ATLANTIC to be exact, and we received a GREAT DEAL and GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. We actually even upgraded the car we wanted and left with the 2012 one and spent more than double the amount we were going to spend over there. GREAT SERVICE GOES A LONG WAY.
