Classic Buick (Auto Group) in Galveston, Texas is an EXCELLENT dealership. Purchasing a vehicle through Classic is pretty easy. The service we received during the buying process was great. BUT that is where quality ends. Our vehicle has had issues and it took over 2 months to get the vehicle in the first time, which, when the vehicle went to be dropped off for repairs, they tried to claim the vehicle they had for us as a loaner was unavailable, after debate, we received a loaner. Then, for over 2 weeks they held onto our vehicle, first saying they couldn't find the problem, then claiming it was our fault (essentially) for our vehicle remaining at their shop because we didn't pay for a new part... even though no one contacted us informing us of the required part! Now, fast forward a few months, our vehicle still has the same issue as before and they are claiming it is our fault!!!!!! And to top it off we have been trying to call and schedule to get our vehicle back in for over two weeks but the lady who schedules the vehicle to be serviced is ALWAYS at lunch. Don't waster your time going to Classic Auto, a chop shop gives better service on vehicles.

I went in to Classic to just browse their inventory and had every intention of shopping around as I had owned my old truck for 12 years and wanted to see what trucks were priced at in 2016. Brookes Cunningham showed me the different trucks he liked and suggested I drive the Tundra and the GMC Sierra. Again, I wasn't going to buy anything without shopping around but the gentleman earned my trust and I left that day with a brand new GMC Sierra truck. I am actually glad he wouldn't let me leave without the truck because I probably would still be driving that old 12 year old diesel without AC.

Everybody feels vulnerable when purchasing a new vehicle but I will say that my experience at Classic was fantastic, from the salesman to the finance person. Brookes Cunningham did a great job of finding the perfect vehicle for me and took the extra time to make sure I was totally satisfied with everything. I would definitely recommend Classic and I have/do.

Kelly (sales) was outstanding! I walked in with a GM friend & family letter not knowing which car I would drive away. He showed me different vehicles and helped me make the best choice with my budget. I left with more car than I thought I could get. I would recommend Kelly as a sales representative to others. Moreover, John (F&I) finalized the paperwork painlessly. Both guys never pressured me, tried to talk me into something I didnt want or need. Car sales has a bad rap with high pressure buy it now attitude. I never felt that way at Classic Chevy Galveston. I know its hard to keep good employees; I would recommend keeping them as part of your team. r/Ed

Matt Hill did an outstanding job making the buying process as easy as possible, from a detailed description of the vehicle online to having all the paper work ready when I showed up. I highly recommend Matt Hill at classic auto for anyone looking for a new or used vehicle.

Horrible service . Worst experience in all my years of Driving . I spent $ 900.00 dollars to Fix minor problems and now I have a truck that is inoperable and the Dealer said it was Like that when I brought it in . I assure you it was not . I simply came in for an Oil change and 'check engine light' . I left with no brakes and I am forced to trade with another dealer who will work with me.

Absolutely terrible experience overall. The vehicle we came to see was posted online but subject to a recall. Salesman ran our credit multiple times with different vehicles without calling to ask, and after almost 4 days of hearing nothing we get news we hadn't been approved for the three vehicles he ran us for. One of which we approved the others ones, he thought we'd be interested in? Only lot I've ever been on where not one salesmen came outside once they saw us looking around and even after we asked for help from one salesman he pawned us off on another. The worst part of the entire thing was that our credit went down almost 12 points because of the repeated credit runs! Their prices are at least 3,000 above market value and the salesman we talked to insisted everyone pays sticker. Leave the causeway and find an honest dealer!

I spent all day driving a couple different cars while the sales guy also helped someone else during this process. It took probably a little longer than if we were the only ones with this sales person but he made us feel welcome. Overall it was a great experience and we love our new vehicle.

I would give this dealership an opportunity for your next car purchase. I worked with Edgar Quiroz, and he answered all my questions and included a UTMB student discount in his quote. Didn't pressure me and offered purchase and leasing options (which I've never consisdered before.) but was informational. Edgar has nice phone manners. I'll call him for my next purchase.

I have been looking for a dealership that would not treat my husband and I like a number and that really wanted to help us buy a SUV without all the games. Classic Auto Group in Galveston helped us without the pressure of having to buy right that minute, gave us a good trade-in on our truck, and beat our credit unions interest rate. I highly recommend this dealership and my salesman Jeff Pennington was awesome.
