My experience was awesome. Upon parking my truck a gentleman walked out and said ' Hello Johnson Family, How was your trip? My wife was so amazed that he recognized us before we went into the dealership. I asked him how did he know who we were He replied I saw your tag and I knew that I had customers coming from Mississippi. Javonne, Micheal, and Todd worked great as a team in assuring our satisfaction. I have been telling people about how passionate and welcoming the staff was at Chuck Hutton Chevrolet. When my husband and I visit Chuck Hutton, initially we were only there to get an oil change. We had no intentions of purchasing a new car. We were stereotyped by many Sales Representatives and they did not greet us. My guess would be that they thought that we would not be potential buyers. We did a trade in from a 2015 Malibu LS to a 2016 LT Sport. As returning customers, we gave Mr. Fred Chambers our business. Mr. Chambers created a pleasant atmosphere for us; Mr. Chambers is very professional, trustworthy and straight forward. Qualities like that speaks volumes about a person and he continues to provide those services time after time again. Mr. Chambers would be the only reason that we would bring our business back to Chuck Hutton. Over all, I enjoyed my visit and Boi am I enjoying my new Malibu. Thanks!

Thank you Chuck Hutton Chevrolet. My husband and I went there on 10/10/15 in the hopes of getting a pre-owned vehicle. We were very exhausted, hungry, and disappointed from a previous dealership but thanks to JOSEPH COOK at Chuck Hutton Chevrolet on Mt. Moriah didn't we only get a car but got a brand new Chevy Malibu LS for an amazing price!!. Thank you Mr. Cook, I love my Malibu. Mr. Cook was very patient with me cause I was not sure what kind of a car I wanted. Infact, my husband thanked him severally stating, "your patience with my wife has blown me away". Mr. Cook actually sold me the car without shoving it down my throat. You know the way some salesmen just suffocate you while trying to sell you something. Seems like a great dealership. The only issue I had was The Internet salesperson quoted me a truck based on my request (Silverado, 4x4, z71, etc) and sent me a truck on there lot. After test driving I bought it only to discover that it did not include the 4x4 requested. Partially my fault for not checking for 4x4 while driving through the city. Otherwise everything was great.

Our sales consultant Steve Weeden was extremely courteous and professional during the entire purchase process. Steven was quite attentive to all of our concerns and requests for optional equipment (fog lights). Steve was very enthusiastic and well informed concerning the automobile that we purchased. Steve is an exceptional sales associate and he should be commendedfor the great service that he provided. I bought a truck from Chuck Hutton a year ago. Brought it in for a miss and paid 560 dollars. Got home and it is still missing and I am out 500 dollars with the same problem. Called and called and left message after message and no one will return my call.. Its been 2 days and no body will call. My family has always bought from Chuck Hutton and I even had 2 other family members buy cars from them on my recommendation and this is the thanks I get. I will not recommend them again to anyone.

It was a great conversation, he listened, and setup an appointment. When I arrived for the appointment he introduced me to Reggie Howard, and the deal couldn't have gone any smoother from there. Not only did they sale me a truck that sold the truck that I wanted, that fit my needs, and price range.These guys did what great sales people do...they found out what I wanted and delivered. Sometimes dealers focus more on what they want you to buy...but that's not what happened here.The finance guy was good, direct and did not try to push alot of extras. Robbie, Patricia, and Carol were great to work with. My daughter's car was damaged and the turn around time getting the car back was much quicker than I expected. Having to make plans to come from Atlanta to pick it up could have been a real pain. They did a great job of keeping me up to date when the car would be ready for pick up so I could make my plans to get there without waiting around. Great group to work with....I highly recommend these people.

I've always dreaded the haggling that is common in many dealerships but not this time! The Internet staff (Donna Crump) put me at ease in the first email and later by phone. She cordially invited me to the dealership at the time that was right for me. Once "my" truck showed up in the online inventory, I came to the dealership and was immediately and politely greeted at the door. Brett Davis went out of his way to show me the truck that I was interested in and despite the limited time I had, he made sure that I understood the features of the truck. After work, I returned to the dealership and Michael Blackard picked up where Brett left off. Michael, and all the staff, were friendly and very knowledgable about the 2015 Colorado. I was very clear, but realistic, about what I was willing to pay for the truck and Chuck Hutton gave me a better price than what I had stated! And a lifetime power train warranty at no cost to me. The great buying experience and free powertrain warranty is what makes Chuck Hutton stand out from the competition. I can't say enough good things about them! I purchased a used 2011 Camaro from you all. The Car is excellent! It runs great, looks great, and it was a great price that fit my budget. However, I am not 100% satisfied with my purchase. The issue i encountered is that my license plate tags took 2 months to receive. What really annoyed me was that i was told by the salesman, Victor, that I would get a call when the tags were in and that I would not have to worry about anything else. With this being my first vehicle purchase I trusted that he was going to give me a call within about 2 weeks or so. Two weeks went by and no call, then a third week, then a month passed and I finally went back to the Chuck Hutton because my drive out tag was about to expire and I still had no word about my car tags. When I went back up there the woman at the front counter just looked at me as if I was lost, her and another gentleman that worked there did not say a word to me or attempt to greet my girlfriend and I as we walked through the door. When i spoke with the nice ladies that were in charge of the license plate tags they told me that they needed proof of residency. I turned that in and was told that it would be a couple of weeks. Well, a couple of weeks turned into another month. My second drive out tag was going to expire and i still did not receive a call or a letter in the mail. When i went back the third time, i was told that Victor was supposed to have called me a month ago to tell me that there was an issue with my tags! That is why my experience with you all was not a pleasant one. Victor never called me to tell me that something was missing, I had to go up there THREE times just to get things straightened out. I thought that this buying experience was going to be smooth, but it was not even close. I was happy with the purchase i made, but not with the hard work that your employee shows to keep the business of customers like me. I would not recommend this dealer to any of my friends or family. I was planning on purchasing a truck, but i was be taking my business elsewhere.

I picked the car I got as it was precertified and came with drivetrain warranty. The very last second before I signed my name I was informed I couldn't have the warranty. The car has ignition problems, transmission problems, misfires and a bad cat converter. Obviously someone knew this, and why the advertised warranty was taken away. Now I have a car that sits more than it drives. When I informed salesman he said I could bring it to see what trouble codes came up but they wouldn't fix it. How can u sell someone a car and tell them u will take care of the customer if anything goes wrong and do the exact opposite of that? I will make it a point never to let anyone I know do business there. That is plain dishonest business practices. Also I never received a follow up call once it was clear the vehicle did not work properly. How is it legal to advertise a warranty on a precertified vehicle and not honor that. It was written on the windshield. Doesn't get any clearer than that. If anyone cares or wants to rectify this obviously intentional dishonest business deal I would greatly appreciate it. I want the car but I was guaranteed it was in working order. Instead I'm looking at thousands in repairs just to make it a daily driver. I'm actually in shock over this whole experience. I'm 37 and have owned 8 vehicles. This is the worst I've been treated out of all of those purchases. I bought a used vehicle from country ford and it had problems and they fixed it no questions asked. Even without a warranty. It is not possible that someone didn't know the car wasn't running properly. Hence taking the advertised warranty off the table in the final seconds of the deal. Which I didn't mind cuz I was assured if it had issues I would be taken care of. Literally the first day I took it home it was not operating properly. Very disappointed a large long standing business such as this can treat a customer in this fashion.

He did his best to make sure he found the Tahoe I wanted,with all the little picky things I wanted on it! I had been working with two other dealerships before coming to Chuck Hutton. Both dearlers said they couldn't find what I wanted and one dealer suggested I purchase the basic Tahoe LS & then pay to have it upgaded to look like a LTZ.What?? Really?? I had a wonderful experience at Chuck Hutton. I never felt pressured to buy a car that day. My sales-person, Fred made my experience stress-free. Ricky in finance broke everything down so that I understood everything before I signed on the dotted line. I had a sun-roof installed afterward, and Fred really made him self available, and went above and beyond, even when things didn't go as planned. I feel like they really cared about me as a person. I've been a Chuck Hutton customer since 2001, when I met Gary Little (Service Dept). Gary's integrity and the way he treats me is the reason I won't go anywhere else for my vehicles. I bought an Avalanche in 2006, and after 8 years little things began to wear out. I told Gary to pick a salesperson to guide me to the appropriate new vehicle for me, and he introduced me to Dere Johnson. Dere listened to my description of what I needed in a vehicle and showed me a variety of trucks that met my needs. He helped me compare values and options, and I made my decision - just that easy! Now I'm the proud owner of a bright red Silverado 1500 Crew Cab 4WD LTZ, and I love it!!!Once again the staff at Chuck Hutton has met my needs and exceeded my expectations!San Chambers

This was my first time purchasing a car online and not just any car, a 2013 Black Corvette Grand Sport. I had been looking for Grand Sport with the exact features as the one located at Chuck Hutton but I lived in Louisiana near New Orleans and Chuck Hutton is in Memphis (about 360 miles away). I sent an email query to Chuck Hutton regarding the availability of the car on their website and was contacted back by JaVonne Lipscomb. She was very pleasant and responsive to my emails. After a few days of back and forth questions and answers I decided that this was a fair deal and I was ready to make the purchase. The only problem was that I couldn't get away from my job for two weeks. JaVonne suggested I put a $500 hold on the car so that it will not get sold until I arrive in Memphis. I also had a trade that I planned to drive up to Memphis and then drive the Vette back home. We worked a fair KBB trade price for the trade and I was all set to anxiously wait for two more weeks before I could get my hands on that Corvette! I arrived in Memphis maybe an hour or so later than planned and was met by Victor Boles. He's a really nice young guy and took great care of me. I gave them the keys to my trade (an Audi A6) and we walked to another area to go see the Vette. No stress, no issues, no drama! The car was gorgeous and was exactly as the photos that Chuck Hutton had posted on their website. We met up with JaVonne and she was just as pleasant in person as she was online. Victor and I went and took a brief test ride and the car was just as wonderful as I expected it would be for a car with 5K miles. There were no surprises. We went back to the dealership and finished up the paperwork. The guys at the used car section were all awesome and extremely friendly. I would highly recommend giving these guys a chance if you're in the market for a car. Plus that Warranty Forever sounds really too!

From my first visit when I was just looking and had not made up my mind what I wanted, I was treated with respect and was not feel froced to consider a particular car or this dealership. After I had visited some other dealerships and talked with their sales department and tried other make of cars, I returned to Chuck Hutton. The process of find a car that had the accessories and packages I wnated was done quickly and after finding a car that had what I wanted and did not have what I did not want a price was agreed upon. Working with the dealership on my trade in was easy and we came to an agreemen t the second day we talked. The car selected was at another daelership about 400 miles away but it was trailered within two days. I was provided a rental car during this process and at delivery I was showm the operation of many of the systems installed and was hooked up to "On Star". I met some very nice personnel in service and the rental lady was exceptional.

I called all over the east coast until I found this dealership that would not charge me the additional $10000. I ordered the car from Kerry Melson at Chuck Hutton. He was always nice UNTIL SOMETHING WENT WRONG WITH THE CAR. I put $15000 cash down on this car so that my payments would be at $600.EVERYTHING I am about to say is documented in writing or I can give you the persons name and phone number at General Motors corporate to prove what I am saying is the truth. I can also give you the customer service person at my local Chevrolet dealership name and phone number to prove what I am saying is the truth. They are kind enough to deal with Chuck Huttons mess.I flew to Memphis Tennessee from Fort Lauderdale on October 11th to pick up the car. On Saturday the 12th I left Memphis to drive it back to South Florida. I did not even get home and the monitor system in the whole car went down. Once home a friend of mine looked over the car and here are some of the things he found wrong: the bolts under the hood were all rusted, the stingray logos were rusted and the silver wrapping under the hood was coming off. I contacted Kerry Melson who told me to take it to the local dealership. I did and they replaced the monitor and the other things I just spoke of. Kerry Melson offered to give me one car payment for all my troubles. This was never told to me by Mr Melson but to General Motors Corporate. Of the 26 days I first had the car 6 of them were spent in my local dealership here in Florida. Then Kerry Melson being the total unprofessional revoked the car payment he offered to me thru General Motors. I have proof in emails from him of the following. He told me to take this review down and maybe something could be done. He was trying to blackmail me into pulling this truthful review down or editing it. I have another email from him just this week where he says and i quote "once you drive the car off our lot we have done what we are supposed to do". So basically he is saying if you have problems after it leaves his showroom too bad. They got their money and now it is the customers problemThis week the new monitor that was put in is now doing the same thing as the first monitor. Also I have been locked in the car 3 times and could not get out which is clearly a safety issue. I have videos of the monitor wiggling from both the first one and now the second one. At this point i do not know what is going to be done. I am driving around in a $60000 piece of crap and Chuck Hutton and Kerry Melson do not care.As i have stated General Motors Corporate office not their customer service and my customer service people at my local dealership who have gone above and beyond are working to get this resolved. I have their emails and phone numbers if you would like to know what kind of person Kerry Melson who is the General manager at Chuck Hutton is and you should know this before doing business with this company as stated i would be happy to provide you with them.My attorney and I are currently attempting to find out whether I file the lemon law paperwork in Florida or Tennessee. The next time the car goes in for the second new monitor will be third time it will be in for service for the same thing and will be able to proceed with lemon law.I can be reached at 954-786-0227.
