I needed to get my vehicle in to get an oil change and also the check engine light was on. Lance got me scheduled right away and when I dropped off he also informed me of the recall on my vehicle. He explained in detail what would be required. When I picked it up he went through everything that was done to the car in great detail and explained my check engine light was probably from the gas cap which it turns out it was. Lance was awesome and I love taking my car to him as he always makes sure that I fully understand all of the issues.

We bought a new Mazda CX-5. Maita had the best prices of any place in the Sacramento/Roseville area. They gave us a fair value on our trade in, and some good discounts on the MSRP for the new car. Our sales person, Jim, was very knowledgeable about the car and very attentive to hearing what we were looking for and matching us with the best car for us. The finance department seemed like they were trying a little too hard to up-sell us on various extra packages, and this was a little annoying. But all in all it was a good experience and we are thrilled with our new car.

Very good.... ....Except, the person who did the servicing added air to the 4 tires of my truck to take it up to 40 pounds !!!!!!!! / per tire.......I have never put that much air in the tires of vehicles I've owned !!! EVER I should have mentioned to Chuck that the air pressure in the tires is not to be adjusted......I check it myself anyway. Will let him know the next time. I have since dropped it back to 30 pounds cold ...which is what I have always used and what the sticker on the door panel says. .....I did have to wait 2 hrs for the servicing to be completed ........even though I had made an appointment......Is that 'Normal' at Champion for an oil change, filter and lube + a truck wash and dry ??? Other than those 2 concerns , everything else was OK.

Excellent. - I limped into Reno from east of Fallon with a failing fuel pump -- although I didn't know WHAT the problem was, but knew I needed a Chevy Service Dept soon. John took excellent care in communicating with me and expediting the new fuel pump being sent to you (didn't have one in stock) so I was overnight another day. He let me know when the part arrived and when the Tahoe would be ready - and it was -- despite someone on the Service Staff blowing out one of my rear tires and John quickly needing to find a matching one so as not to hold me up any longer -- and he did.Excellent service facility, John was very professional and communicated with me all along the way keeping me apprised of identifying the problem, getting the fuel pump ASAP and having it installed -- as well as scrambling to find a matching tire for the one that was inadvertenly blown out while working on the Tahoe

Researched a new Chevy car purchase online and got preapproved by credit union. I also got prices from several other dealers but Champion was the only one with the specific color vehicle that we wanted in stock. The vehicle was advertised at $4000 above MSRP and when questioned about what other dealers were selling the same vehicle for their was no effort to respond. In fact on two different occassions after sending in quotes from other dealers we didnt even receive a call back. Very poor customer service and extremly poor pricing. We bought the car the next day at Kuni Chevy and had a wonderful experience. This dealership gives the American car industry a bad name..

I recently took in my 20+ year old suburban for possible warranty repairs. I have a new crate motor from GM in the vehicle and it began leaking oil heavily. The engine was installed elsewhere, but I had no problems getting warranty service for it (something a lot of dealers balk at doing if they didnt install it) Champion looked it over and inspected it very throughly and determined the leaks were not part of the warranty covered by GM but would be the responsibility of the shop that installed the engine itself. They detailed out what was wrong and even offered to help me with the other shop should they give me the run around about fixing it under warranty. My service tech Danny Price was helpful in every way during this process. I was very pleased at how well they treated a new customer that was not one of their own...however after this experience, I will be a customer of this dealership.

My wife and I were in the market for two full sized 2008 trucks, and we were interested in taking advantage of Chevrolet's excellent rebates/cash back offers that were available at the time. We walked into the dealer and were treated nicely by the sales people that greeted us outside. We viewed a few trucks and decided to try and get a bottom-line price on one of them. We were escorted into an office and asked to take a seat. We had brought details of the offers Chevrolet was advertising on its website with us. This is where the service got bad. In walked a pacific-islander looking gentleman, slightly balding, if I remember correctly. He brought in pricing information on the truck 1st truck we were looking at but it did not match the offers Chevrolet was advertising. We questioned this and that's when this guy went haywire. He told us that the dealership could do what they wanted to, and they wouldn't honor the cash back/rebate price advertised. We were astounded at his delivery (very rude and condescending). Disappointed at the situation (we really liked the truck) we asked if we could be shown something else. He told us "We have nothing for YOU here". I said "excuse me", and he made it obvious that we wouldn't be shown any other vehicles. My wife and I were flabergasted and just looked at each other. I'm still amazed when I think about it. If the boss knew how customers were being treated I'm sure the guy would be looking for another job. Anyway, we walked right across the street to Winkel GMC (the trucks are almost identical) and bought our two trucks. They were great and we recommend them to everyone.
I had a new 454 installed in my truck and it had to be...
I had a new 454 installed in my truck and it had to be replaced by a second 454 because it leaked oil and Champion Chevrolet could not stop it from leaking. the engine was $4,500.
After just 28,000 miles coolant leaked into the engine and it now needs a valve job and more than $2,000 in work. And, they want to charge me $174 just to diagnose the problem.
I had a fule pump relaced and when I drove away gas was leaking from my gas tank. I had to go back to service and leave the truck and get a rental car.

The following review is in my opinion. This was several years ago but I had my car in for service and the technician put the wrong transaxle fluid in and i later had to have the car towed back to the dealership for the right fluid. More recently I called to schedule a recall repair done for a chevy car that I bought out of state. The first questions they asked me was if I bought my car from them. Why does that matter? Am I going to get poor service now because I did not buy my car from them? Champion also wanted my car for at least a day for a 30 minute repair job. Anyway I ended up driving the 300 mile round trip to Winnemucca Bosch motors to get the work done. Took them 30 minutes with no hassle whatsoever. Very pleased.
