Warranty Service on a Leased Vehicle

Friendly accommodating people

I know there are dealership it's their job to sell cars, but they knew we had budget constraints and it was at closing time on a Friday night and they still stayed open to work with us and try to see if they could make a deal and meet our budget. They did and were very friendly and accommodating. They were able to help us get to a point where we could buy a new Camaro and we're very pleased with the salesman and other employees who worked with us. When we first started looking for a car we were in the process of buying a house, so we couldn't purchase a car at the time but wanted to look at options. We had a wonderful experience at this dealership picking out and purchasing our 2016 Malibu. Our sales person, Blake Ritorto, was so pleasant, helpful, and professional in showing us models that we were interested in, getting our trade-in evaluated and working with us to close the sale, and then helping us learn all about using the modern technology features of our car after our purchase because we had no prior experience with this type of technology. Also, Business Manager Drew Effinger, was very enjoyable to work with as we went over all the paperwork to complete the purchase and get extended bumper to bumper coverage for our new Malibu. We plan to get all our car servicing done with Champion as well, and tell friends and family about out good experience with this dealership.

Excellent Experience

My mother just sold her Chevy Silverado to Champion Chevrolet. We walked in not knowing what to expect, but Brenda walked us through everything. Champion offered us our asking price and cut us the check. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Brenda was absolutely amazing! She even drove us home after the transaction was complete.

Decent Experience

Overall a good experience at this dealership. I gave the dealership 4 stars but would give the salesman 5 stars because he was helpful, informative, and acted like he wanted to make a sale. My only complaints were there was no real haggle room over the trade-in, which was 50% my fault for not bringing the vehicle to the initial contact and 50% the fault of the sales floor manager who apparently didn't want to negotiate the original low-ball quote after seeing the vehicle. Referencing the Bluebook price, I think the trade-in was worth an additional $1000.In addition, there was no negotiation on the lending institution for the balance due after trade-in and down payment. I was told 4.65% was the best rate I could get even though my credit rating and my wife's are 800+ . I refinanced a week later at my credit union for 1.9%. The price on the truck I purchased was fair so I didn't attempt to negotiate it.....minus the various incentives and discounts, the price was dropped almost $8,000 . Would I buy here again? Probably so. If I do, it would be with the same salesman but things would be a little different when it comes to dealing with the sales management and business management.

The Sales team price did not match the dealer financing.

I Did not get the advertised discount on the purchase of the 2017 Volt I purchased. During the purchase process the sales team said the reduced discount price was because of the 0% financing. However when finance presented the sales deal it was 2% and no advertised discount on the price of the volt. what a Sham. I feel like I was taken advantage of since the sales department agreement did not match up the the finance sales contract. Based upon my experience I can not recommend the Champion Chevrolet Dealership located in Avon Indiana. Very dishonest process.

Comfortable and Easy

My husband and I are expecting and needed a 3rd row vehicle. We went to "look" at a used 2013 Traverse. It was our first time test driving one, and our salesman (Aaron Glaze) was very knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions. He was never pushy and always honest. The finance guy, Mike, was also very easy to work with, and needless to say we purchased that night. We brought the car in a few days later to have the polysteel treatment applied and I was once again impressed with Aaron and how he listened and responded to my questions.

Just moved to the area and needed an oil change for my Cruze. They fit me in the same day I called. They even washed my car! It was the best service I have ever received from a dealership. They really make you feel special! I can't wait to go back!

Exceeded expectations, great customer service

I came to the dealership expecting an oil change that would cost around $60 for semi-synthetic oil (prices comparable to competition). Not only was it $20 cheaper than the competition, the workers were extremely friendly and knowledgeable, thoroughly able to answer and explain all my questions, rotated my tires free of charge, gave my car a wash free of charge and offered complimentary water bottles and coffee. The waiting room was clean and all I saw was smiling faces. Will be back for oil changes in the future.

I was traveling from Iowa to Kentucky when my check engine lite came on. Champion Dealership was the closest so I pulled in to see if they could look at my car. They got me in right away, diagnosed the problem and was able to fix my vehicle and get me back on the road in under 2 hrs. Easy, no-hassle sales experience

I went in knowing exactly what I wanted and what I was expecting to pay. I was greeted by Derek Rose and we went over to the truck I had in mind. He grabbed the keys and let me take a look around and then offered a test drive. He asked questions and answered all of mine without trying to change my mind or outguess me. I really appreciated that he didn't try to be overbearing or try to upsell me on things I didn't need or want. It was really refreshing to find someone who understood that I knew my own needs best and didn't try to convince me I should go a different route. Once I decided to move forward with the sale we went over some numbers and he provided me a sheet which broke down their asking price, their offer on my trade, and what the monthly payments would be. With just some slight negotiating we arrived at a figure that was in line with what KBB suggested the price should be, and lower than competing dealerships in the area. Great service as usual

Patrick was the consummate professional and worked with me on several issues from rental car to an extended service contract issues so that I could get my truck back in service and on the road. Patrick never became irritated or lost patience even though I did through no fault of Patrick or Champions.

When we went to the dealership we new exactly which vehicle we were interested in. We were pleasantly surprised that we were not bombarded by sales associates. When entering the main sales floor we were greated by the friendly staff and sales associates. Our sales associate Steve was happy to assist us at looking at the truck we were interested in and do a test drive. After knowing we were set on the vehicle we went inside to do all of the paper work. Drew in the finance department was friendly and efficient. He was able to get all of our paper work done and signed with in an hour. We have purchased many vehicles and this has been by far the best and easiest experience we've had.

Purchased a new vehicle with trade in

The selection of vehicles I was looking for was good and I was able to find 2 to decide between. The salesman who showed me the vehicles was not as familiar with the specifics of the vehicles as I expected. He used generalizations often and didn't know the answers to several questions related to features of the vehicles. He was friendly and pleasant to deal with however. The financial stage was handled poorly. The gentleman who was processing my sale tried to put me into financing that I had no knowledge of and was, in fact, much worse than the terms I secured after questioning his information, causing him to check available financing again. The sales manager was helpful and appeared open and honest pricing structures very clearly. I appreciated that. The whole process took entirely too long. I was an easy customer. I knew what i wanted to buy, had no financing concerns, was satisfied with the trade in allowance and still it took me 3 1/2 hrs to complete the transaction. No reason in the world for that to be the case. Ultimately I left with the vehicle I wanted at a price I considered fair with financing I could live with.

The reason for the 5 star review is because Allen Syx was our sales consultant and from the very first truck I looked at that I knew I couldn't afford he was very honest and helpful and still took the time to go over the entire truck, then was able to ball park a monthly payment if I wanted the truck and it was too much. So he asked if there was other cars I was interested in and of course I always wanted a camero so he was very helpful with all the modles and working with me on what I was looking for and could afford and even my trade in. In the end I got the camero I wanted for about the price I told him I could afford and I love my car. Great job by Allen Syx and the rest of the champion managers that I delt with during my visit there. Ill be going there in the future for my future Chevy car or truck.

Amazing

Vehicle Service

We brought the vehicle in for a free Oil Change & Tire Rotation, which was part of the agreement of the new vehicle purchase. The person that greeted us was very nice and helpful, and we got the vehicle in right away for service. It took only around 20 minutes, which was much quicker than we expected. The waiting area was very comfortable, and everyone that we dealt with there was very nice and helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend someone to Champion.

After a month of driving to dealerships & looking tirelessly at website listings I landed at Champion Chevy in Avon. Normal dealership crap with the "sales manager" positioning for every dollar in the deal so that part was no different. What made my experience great was my sales person. Derek did an excellent job & was nothing like every prior car sales guy I'd dealt with for a month while looking.!I found him honest & genuine over my 4 seperate visits following up exactly when he said he would without fail. He truly EARNED my business. I ended up purchasing 2 used vehicles for both of my daughters (Vs 1). It's because of Derek I purchased at this location & because of him I took the time to write this. Unexpected overheating

I had a sudden overheating of my Malibu and since I was close to Champion Chevrolet so I drove there. I was immediately greeted by Patrick and explained what my problem was. He asked if I could wait a little bit to see if they could diagnose the problem. Within 30 minutes it was discovered the water pump had a small leak which caused the overheating when I turned the air on. Patrick asked if I wanted to be taken home, but I decided to stay. They had my car fixed with the next 1-1/2 to 2 hours with the water pump replaced under warranty with no cost to me. So in about 3 hours my car was completely repaired which I consider to very reasonable and exceptional. Special kudos to Patrick for being so caring and keeping me informed during the home process

Quick and Hassle Free

I have been shopping for a new for 9 months and found exactly what I wanted on line. I had a test drive scheduled and then due to life events, moved the test drive up by 3 days. Allen greeted me at the vehicle 20 minutes before closing and walked me through the car and we got a test drive in. Two days later, I picked the car up. I haven't bought a car in +10 years and had several questions. Allen took the time to answer each one and explain the process. There was never any pressure to buy the vehicle nor was the process rushed. I never once felt stressed/worried during the process. I will be back to Champion when it's time to purchase another vehicle.

I stopped in to look at used cars for my 16 year old daughter. Brenda helped me and told me about a Chevy Sonic they had on sale that would be a good first car. No pressure she just showed me the car and gave me a print out. I went home showed my wife. We went back the next morning for a test drive and bought the car!! We love it , my daughter loves it. Great experience

April 27, 2016 it was raining, storms were coming and my windshield wipers were toast. I pulled in to the service bay and Patrick and several others were immediately helpful. Since my old windshield wipers were after market replacements, it was not an easy fix. Patrick and several others, in addition to the parts department, were endlessly patient and worked until I had wonderful new wipers again. Thank you one more time!

Found my last dealership

I spent years with one dealership and one salesman. It closed and I've not been able to establish the same kind of relationship since...until now. Not once did I feel pressured but I did feel respected. My priorities were important to the salesman and others that we encountered. Allen Syx was very informative, attentive, patient. First new car I have purchased in 35 years so you can imagine all the new capabilities the awesome 2016 Malibu has. Champion Chevrolet is the only Dealership for me. Every employee that I have worked with at the dealership has been friendly, professional. I appreciate their honesty and integrity and has always been treated with the utmost respect. Patrick Briney was excellent from the first phone conversation we had. I called because one of warning lights were coming on. I called and spoke with Patrick explaining the problem as best as I could. He was very reassuring and asked me when I could bring the car in. We decided on the following day. When I arrived, the Service Department was very busy. Patrick acknowledged me and said he be with me soon. It made me feel welcomed that he too the time to acknowledge me. Little gestures such as that goes a long way. Long story short, it was an awesome experience. One other thing I appreciated was that Patrick came back to the waiting area several times to give me updates on the service to see if I needed anything. Wow--now that's customer service! I had to leave my car overnight, but Patrick put me in a loaner vehicle and my car was ready the next day. Repaired, washed and ready to go! Kudos to Patrick and the Champion Team!

2016 Silverado 2500

I am from the Lafayette area, there was little selection here nor was there a willingness to make a deal on a lesser selection. I happened to see a TV commercial about Champion Chevrolet in Avon. I called the dealership to find out the had around seven or eight trucks for me to look at, actually what I was looking for was just unloaded off of a transport and had not been prepped. The salesman working with me and I mean "working" to find some middle ground to complete the deal. I also visited the service department and met with some of the mechanic's and they answered some of my questions pertaining to my new truck. Very professional folks.

Unexpected new car

the story of max, my new chevy ss

we knew we needed a new car for our growing family and initially had an infinity crossover in mind. the car was special because it was a family car but on a 370Z/nissan skyline chassy giving it an edge. my husband had one more car in mind but didn't know if it was a possibility given its more rare and special nature....a chevy SS. we decided to go to our nearest chevy dealership just to take a look while our baby napped in the car. that's when the dream started to become a reality. we met Allen, our genie, and his team. we didn't know we would be buying a car that day but that's what we did because they gave us the deal of a lifetime for the car of a lifetime. it's a family car with over 400 horsepower and torque. it rides smooth and comfortable for a sedan but has a bite to it when you want it. its a car for the man who has a family but also is not ready to give up his dreams of being a racecar driver. when he saw it, he knew he wanted it. when he drove it, he knew he wanted it more. Thank you to Allen and his team for giving us the car we needed at the deal we couldn't pass up. Traded a SUV for a van

I have a family of 6 and since trading my van nearly 2 years ago, I have missed it everyday. It was important to us to get a fair trade on my SUV, and to get back into a van that fit our family now and for years to come. i pulled in and was immediately approached and ask what service needed and my answer was oil change.. the person who was in charge over that area came over and we filled out the paperwork and he took the car and completed the work. after the work was completed he came into the show room and informed me the work wasn't charge for the service. everyone there was very polite and smiling.

Walked in looking for a new truck not knowing if they had the one I wanted. Walked down the line and came across a truck that I had in mind and Steve got all what was needed to begin the process of the purchase of the truck and 3 hours later drove away in the truck!

Great Experience

We have been looking at these Colorado for awhile and saw this black one with everything on it. So my wife called Monday morning and spoke with Christian to ask if we could do a test drive that evening. We got there about 6:15 and Christian leaves at 5:30 but Aaron Glaze was there and had the keys all ready and took us for the test drive... Aaron was very nice and very informative on everything on the truck. When we got back we had asked them to go ahead and do our trade in just to see where we were at as we new where we had to be.... Aaron got all the information back over to us and we discussed.... once we agreed on the final number the truck was ours....All thanks to Aaron's knowledge and the fact that he has been there a long time really meant a lot. Your service department went up and beyond what was expected. My husband and I had to bring our vehicle in for unexpected service. Now this vehicle contains my husband's handicap ramp. Not only did you give us a vehicle to use while our vehicle was being repaired, but when you learned that he is on home hospice you even delivered the repaired vehicle to our home once you found out my husband was not feeling well enough for me to leave him to pick it up from you. Now that is EXCELLENT SERVICE. Excellent Service

Everything about my visit to Champion Chevrolet was great. From the moment I called to schedule an appointment to the moment I picked up my car. I needed some routine service performed but I also voiced some other concerns and Patrick made sure all of my questions were answered.

Our salesman Allen Syx, was knowledgeable and very helpful, and courteous. Purchasing a car is a tedious process, and it was made as enjoyable as it can be. The only minor complaint I can come up with is during the detailing to get the car ready for us, no one checked the trunk and it was loaded with boxes that we didn't need to take home with us to dispose of, other than that, the experience was great. The finance guy we dealt with was very friendly and courteous, informed us of all our options but was not pushy.

Buying used car

Allen Syx was very helpful in buying the 2013 Chevy Cruise. He help me work thru paying for it in two payments. One problem was the gas cover did not open. I called him and we set up an appointment on Friday to look at what could be wrong. He thought the parts to fix it would not come in until next week, so he filled up the tank with gas. Patrick in service called around and got the parts to fix it in a few hours.

Had first oil change/check up on new Equinox on march 30, 2016. Scott, the service Advisor provided exceptional speedy and efficient service in checking out all aspects of needed service. Scott also went the extra mile in helping me order some additional accessories. I would say, do not be hesitant in visiting this dealership for service because of concerns of impersonal or long service wait times. Service here with Scott, the day I visited, was excellent and caring.

I brought my car for much need repair at 7am with no appointment and was immediately greeted with a 'can do' response. Within a short period of time the problem was diagnosed and a course of action to fix the problem was in place. Since they didn't have the part in the shop to fix the issue they drove to another dealership and picked it up! Within a short period of time my car was fixed under warranty and I was on my way. I went in knowing what I was looking for the Silverado 1500 high country. Shay Foley was the person who help me and my wife, he didn't cut any corners when showing us all the features that this truck had. My first mommy car purchase!!!

My experience at Champion was exceptional!! From the minute I walked in the door, to the welcoming greet by everyone that was here, I felt like I made the right choice. Shay was very very helpful in finding the perfect car for my husband and I and our new baby! Oil change.

I went in for an oil change and was told a tire rotation would be free. Really appreciated that since I was due for a tire rotation. Procedures were done in about 30 minutes and I was on my way. Could not ask for better service and friendliness.

Service got our car in quickly, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it and we had our car back the same day. Always courteous and explain what they are doing.

Andrea was a great sales lady and very informative, I walked away with exactly what I wanted, the only thing that I can think of that I'm not extremely happy with is the cleanliness of my new car, after getting home I found food in the seats and even what appeared to be fingernails in one of the side pockets (gross), aside of that I feel as if I got a great deal on my 2014 Traverse and I love it!! Bought a car with agreement to bring it back for repair

My daughter bought a 2012 there, an agreement was made with rusty, sales , to bring car back in for fan repair. Rusty was great, he sent a message giving details that the repair would take a few days and we would have a compliment car waiting. We got there, Service department had us for an appointment, but no compliment car and I was informed by Patrick " we are not a rental car company", Another employee chimes in and said "first come first serve". It took an hour to get a car. When we brought it back and picked up car, the fan didn't work. It's like they didn't even try it. While waiting for the car the first day, another woman left and returned within 10 minutes. She said her car had not been fixed. the experience of my daughter buying her first " new to her" car was great. But this service department needs a new mechanic, and a new face to customers.

Used car department review

I had a very pleasant experience with Dave Blanck, a sales representative at Champion Chevrolet. Dave allowed me to inspect the cars in which I was interested at my leisure, without pressure, and answered all of my questions. The cars were well prepared, and honestly represented. Unfortunately, neither of the cars had the features I require. Dave recognized this, and did not provide any pressure to push me into a sale.
