Amazing Service Department!
I am not one to write many reviews but this dealership was so amazing I felt the need to spread the word. I was greeted as soon as I pulled my car in and I did not have to wait to see a service representative. All of the employees were very nice and efficient. The service represented I was working with updated me about thirty minutes into the appointment, which I thought was amazing that he was on top of his job. I came in for a simple oil change and was told I would be in and out within an hour. Well sure enough I was out of there within an hour, thankfully there were no other issues with my vehicle so it was a quick service. I would definitely recommend this service department to anyone who is open to deal with an amazing group of people.

Absolutely horrible place to do business
This place is a joke. My wife wanted a certain vehicle and we looked at one at a local dealership and we liked it and made an appt. For the next day to bring her car in on trade. Well they sold it a half hour before we got there and did al the numbers. I swore to her i wouldnt let that happen again. Well we found the same vehicle here. It is 50 miles fron our house. I called and talked to the rep in the morning and even spoke with the general manager and said we were interested in it and told him about what happened to us at the local dealership and we would be on our way. He said "dont worry ill have someone pull it off the lot now and get it cleaned up and ill have it parked out front when you get here. I cant beleive that other place did that to you". So we drove the hour and a half though chicago traffic for the car my wife wanted. We ended up driving and hour and a half for a vehicle they sold 2 days before!!!!!!!. And i talked to them the morning we drove up!!!.. im sorry but that is not good business. They offered to fill up our gas tank for our troubles but we waited for an hour and he came back and said he just took the last vehicle for gas. Yours will be filled up and ready in 30 minutes. So we just cut our loses and went on our way. Not worth the time nor the aggrivation

The online person (Delia?) was knowledgable and there was no "bait and switch." They had the car advertised for the advertised price. Paul Beckett, the sales consultant, went through everything. It was the most pleasant car buying experience I have had. This was my first purchase from Castle, but the twelfth car I have purchased in my life. I have never had such an honest straight-forward experience. I will purchase all my future GMC's from Castle.
Like pulling teeth
I was happy with the sales experience, but buyers should be aware that the Service Dept of this dealership does not want to honor Buick's service contracts (i.e., 2 years of free maintenance with a new or leased vehicle) and will make it extremely difficult to schedule even routine, contracted- for maintenance on your car. I was refused maintenance three separate times, by separate personnel, over a period of months, for my new Buick Encore, which is supposed to come with 2 years of free maintenance. It seemed to be an unwritten Service Department policy. Only when I called a fourth time and threatened to contact the owner of the dealership was I allowed to make an appointment for my 10-month-old car. (By then, I had already lost this game of "chicken" and paid out of pocket for an oil and filter change.) Now I am trying to make an appointment to get the airbags fixed (due to a just-announced recall) and they are giving me a hard time again, even though it's a clear safety issue. It's unbelievable. Buick has no business selling vehicles with "free maintenance for 2 years" if it does not intend to honor this contractual promise. I intend to write to the Corporate Office to complain about this.
Zuly Made the Difference
Zuly Martinez was the sales professional who worked with me in the purchase of a Buick Encore. Zuly was able to address every single question I had. She also spent considerable time with me learning about the car which made the sale that much more personal. Zuly even gave me her cell. Everyone at Castle was helpful and friendly and I feel that I bought into a good dealer.
The most terrifying experience
August 19, 2016, on my way home from work my GMC Terrain has stalled on me at the intersection. This is the SECOND time it has happened. I owned this car since 2013. The first time was after 6 months at the tollway exit. Anyway, the service was open I called and spoke to Keith (service advisor) who said to get the car towed and I had let him know I did not have any other car to drive. All he said to get the car towed?? And then what? Keith said he could not help me to get another loaner even though he said I have 17 loaners I cannot let go. Hmmm ok, so if someone told you the same thing and deny a loaner for your situation and your would be ok with it?? Same as the first time with the car. Then he could not assist me and decided to pass me on to a financial manager who has more answers to help me?? Jose said, "even if my mom was in the er, I cannot give you a loaner." Ok so my car is stalled at an intersection and its the only car I have and you cannot give me a car to use when my car gets towed. This is a great example of how poorly customer service is. However, AJ and LT are great service adivsors I had to deal with. Keith was appointed as my service advisor and everytime he says I will call back and he never does!! I had to speak to his supervisor, Scott. This is a nightmare. Just fyi I will never be doing business with this location as I have already taken my car somewhere else after it was repaired. I do understand cars break down but I do not have to recall my engine burning too much oil when that was kept for another two week prior to this incident!! Goodbye GMC!

After several promising phone conversations with employees at Castle about a specific 2017 Acadia Limited, and being quoted a price lower than what was listed, I drove over 100 miles to see the car, drive it and hopefully make a deal. Though "Ed" knew I was coming the next morning and told me to ask for him, he wasn't even working that day.The dealership was not at all busy and there were plenty of salesmen, but I spent ten minutes wandering around the showroom, with no one asking to help me or even acknowledging my presence. I eventually approached someone, but discovered no one was expecting me---this lack of communication raised a red flag, but things got worse and there were more red flags! The salesman couldn't locate the vehicle I had come to see (again, obviously NO communication), brought me the wrong one to drive, finally located the correct vehicle in the service garage where it had just had the radio removed (and this was the specific car I had driven 100 miles to look at!). Back at the dealership after the test-drive, I was handed off to another employee (financial guy?!) who was adamant the lower price I was quoted on the phone was available only if I qualified (no mention of that on the phone...and I would have known I didn't qualify), and who was incredulous that I expected to negotiate. I was offered $4400 for my trade-in (quite an insult when a dealer closer to my home had offered me $8500, AND, like most people these days, I had researched the Internet to know what my trade-in was worth). Plus, on the wall behind the cubicle we were sitting in hung a sign claiming Castle paid above trade-in value! He basically admitted that they figured they had the car sold since I drove such a distance to look at it. I had to ask three times for my car key back when I'd had enough of their baloney and wanted to leave... And out the door I went, never looked back and do not regret not buying from such unprofessional shysters.

Pleasant Purchasing Experience
My wife and I purchased a Buick Regal and worked with Paul Beckett. Paul truly made the purchasing experience and is a terrific salesman who is upfront and honest with customers. Paul showed willingness to do anything and everything within his power to make the purchasing experience pleasurable. If I had to point out any negatives about our experience it would be the inventory manager, Tom. Tom abruptly tried to communicate with my wife and I twice and almost blew the deal. I am not sure why when a customer is working with a salesman as great as Paul, the inventory manager needs to work his way into the conversation. Our first experience with Tom was very strange and it was difficult to understand exactly what he was trying to tell us. Our second experience with Tom was after we had discussed our bottom line price that we would be willing to purchase the vehicle for. Tom felt the need to tell us that they couldn't meet the price and was very quick to send us along our way (which we did). Within minutes of leaving, we received a phone call from Paul indicating that we could get the deal done. Bottom line - If you want a great experience, Castle is a good dealership and Paul Beckett is the reason for it.

We came in knowing what we wanted to buy. Brandon greeted us immediately and we went to work. We were given quotes over the phone with service incentives, which is what brought us in to Castle. We were given everything that was promised. The car we wanted needed to be transferred from another dealership, Brandon kept in touch with us throughout the days following as to what was happening, (which was only 2 days, much quicker than I anticipated).
Our salesperson was nubia who was so warm and friendly throughout the sales process. We love the car we purchased...it is a great car at a great price.

We purchased a GMC Acadia certified pre owned and only 6 months later all the power failed no tail lights no turn signals no power windows nothing worked. They said the fuse box needed to be replaced, so they did and again in January and February 3 times the fuse box has been replaced and the gm Andy was no help at all he was extremely rude arguing with us and walked away in the middle of our talk! So unethical! Stay away! We still have no solution!!

horrible customer service and service center
We bought an acadia from them new that is now falling apart. We take it to them for repairs and they repair the same.thing every 2-3 weeks. We bought an extended warranty to save us money but the extended warranty has probably spent $15,000 plus on repairs on a car with less.than 100,000 miles. Terrible.
i like being able to look for cars on the internet . You can see what there is in stock before going to dealership. So the idea of knowing what the price will be and looking at that car. This dealership had a very pleasant salesman and staff they were all easy to deal with.

I have traded Toyota for Buick, and I'm not going back. I tried for months to get Toyota to make good on its warranties for my Camry hybrid, which had an excess oil consumption problem. I even had a platinum extended warranty. But the dealer kept insisting it wasn't bad enough. So I gave up and sold my Camry and bought a 2015 Buick Encore from Castle. I am so glad I did. I love my Encore, and I loved the folks at Castle. I had Toyotas for years, but no more. They don't deserve my business.

Service Experience at Castle GMC
Once again, Joe Genna and his crew at Castle went above and beyond to make my maintenance appointment a great experience. Oil change, tire rotation and complimentary car wash. When they discovered an additional problem with my car, they were quick to offer me a loaner for a few hours while they solved the situation. Flawless work and follow up by the maintenance people who performed the work. I've purchased two cars in a year, and have been greatly appreciative of Joe and his people. Everyone says hello to you, and seem to mean it - what a novel idea for a sales/service company.
Service at Castle Buick
AJ Jurado is the Service Advisor that helped me. He was courteous, considerate, and very helpful. I came in for an oil change and basic check up. I also had a tire that had a slow leak. He had the technician find it and plug it . This saved me an extra cost that I was fearing would mean a new tire. They reassured me that my tires were in good condition and would not need replacement for quite a while. Although I purchased my car at a different dealership, I didn't know about Castle at the time, I would definitely come to Castle when it's time to buy again.
I enjoyed working with Tom Riggos. I told him what kind of vehicle I was looking for and he found the exact color I wanted. He was very accommodating to me. He came in on his off day to ensure everything was the way I expected. I would recommend Castle Buick GMC to all my friends and family.

I had never leased a car before, nor indeed bought anything but a used car before. But after a year of sharing our one family car with my son (and walking many more miles and taking many more buses and cabs than I ever wanted to), I started looking. Spent 3 months visiting car dealerships that made my skin crawl. Ugh. Ugh. Ugh. How can these people stand themselves? Then I walked into the Castle Buick dealership a mile and a half from my home and met the gentle, calm, truthful Maricruz Roman. Why did I never ask for a female car salesperson before? My daughter watched Cartoon Network and ate snacks in Castle's kids' room while I did the paperwork with Maricruz and was out of there in a couple of hours with a great lease deal. No surprises or tricks. She even drove the Buick home to my house for me so I get our family car back home. Wah hoo! I love my little SUV. Maricruz invited me to come back to ask her questions about the features and technology, and I plan to do this, since she is a completely normal person and doesn't freak me out the way car salesmen do. And hey, it's closer than the neighborhood grocery store.

If there would be anything I would change, it would have to be when you wash the cars. Whoever is washing them could do a better job. Other than that. I always feel like I am treated well and informed of anything I need and they answer any concerns or questions I may have.
THIS IS HOW IT SHOULD BE DONE
Called in on a Monday morning and spoke with ROBERT in service. I advised him that my check engine light came on, and that there was a problem with my horn. He scheduled me an appointment for Tuesday morning. Upon arrival, my car was taken immediately in for service, and I had the opportunity to enjoy one of the best waiting rooms I've ever had to wait in. Clean, comfortable chairs, big screen t.v., free coffee and fresh donuts were provided, free use of an I Pad and Internet, and large ceiling to floor windows to look out of. I didn't realize that approximately an hour and a half had gone by before ROBERT walked out and explained everything that was going on with my vehicle. He even advised that during the inspection the mechanic found out that my battery was leaking. Now the great part: The parts to repair my vehicle had to be ordered, and that it would take maybe a day and a half to complete the repair. ROBERT asked if If I owned another vehicle or needed a ride home. I informed him that my wife used our other vehicle for work and I had to work also. ROBERT immediately set me up with a loaner, and called me several times throughout the repair, to update me of the progress of my repair. ROBERT even researched my vehicles history and learned that my battery was still under warranty, and had it replaced. I am totally satisfied with ROBERT and the service department. I've bought many vehicles throughout the years, and have had some very bad experiences with several different dealerships. Thanks CASTLE, ROBERT and your staff have renewed my faith!!!!! I will definitely purchase my next vehicle from you. THANKS!
25,000 Maintenance Service
I was quickly greeted by Keith Smith as soon as I arrived to the service area. Keith was very friendly, respectful and quick to complete my paperwork for my 25,000 mile maintenance check. I am happy with the work that was done and I did not have to wait a long time. Keith was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions regarding my car. I will definitely continue to use Castle Buick for my car needs.
Very Pleasant Experience
Went for oil change and tire rotation. Receptionist answered several questions when I called. I was able to schedule an appointment on line. Asked them to inspect why Service Engine Light had come on. They performed the diagnostic and made a repair while I waited and gave me updates on progress while I was waiting. While I was there I went for a test drive in a new Encore I've been thinking about.
I saw a 2014 Corvette online and not only was it a fair price but I was treated very well. The GM Joe Jenna took care of me personally. It was very smooth and I received numerous follow up calls to assure my satisfaction.

The appointment process is easy, and forward and pleasant. When I brought the car, I reviewed with the Service Agent to work, which was to be performed. The Service Agent, AJ, was courteous, communicative and knowledgeable of the work that was to be completed. He checked the car in and directed me to the waiting room and estimated the time to completion. The service to the car was was completed, AJ made sure that the car was washed before giving it back to me. Everything in the process (Service Agent and Auto Technician) met and exceeded my expectations.

We had a problem with our 2010 Enclave, but AJ efficiently had the problem fixed. We are always taken care of and now that LT has been promoted, we have AJ taking care of us. LT still helps if needed and always makes us feel that we are customers that they care about.

Went here to get my car serviced, I was having trouble with my truck over heating so I called Castle and spoke with A. J. He was very nice and welcoming. However they do require an appointment for service but A. J. managed to get me in for a repair and gave me a courtesy ride back home while I waited. It didn't take long as I thought it would they were done by 5pm was expecting it to be a little longer considering I didn't have an appointment. They found the problem to be my water pump which was covered under my bumper to bumper so I had no out of pockets payment. They got the job done and not like other repair shops that try to get you to get unnecessary added repairs they were to the point. Will go back here again for friendly service.
Nice car buying experience..
I went into the dealership not sure if I was going to buy. After about 2 hours, I walked out with a 2015 Buick Encore. Paul was great - not pushy but informative about the car. He was patient while I was deciding and going back and forth between 2 different models. They were true to internet pricing, and not aggressive about trying to sell the car with the most expensive options. Ultimately, I am super pleased with my purchase. I drove several different compact SUVs and this one was the best all-around purchase.
my bad experience should be a warning to others
I bought a hard-to-find model in another state and stopped by Castle Buick (near my home) for a quick question on the info-tainment system. As soon as the "customer experience" salesman realized that I had not purchased my car from them, the harassment began. He badgered me about not buying a car from him. He badgered me about not taking my question (>100 miles away) to the dealer from whom i purchased the car. On and on. He reluctantly took a look at my car and gave me a poor excuse of an answer. I asked him for one more minute - a question about the trunk. He said: "no no. You already got your freebie." and he walked away.I called GM and let them know about it.The response?The dealer doesn't want anything to do with you. Took my car in for regular service. Everything was explained, and I was offered a loaner car or shuttle if I didn't want to wait there. Time quoted was reasonable and fairly accurate. Everyone was friendly and helpful as always. Highly recommended.
I went there because of the on-line pricing and they stuck to them. Very friendly, but not pushy. Great service when I went back for my rust proofing and got the loaner as promised. I will go back again.

You can do Better
I am usually very satisfied and pleased with my service all the way around. However, yesterday's service was bad. I had an appointment at 5pm, but I was early and arrived and ten minutes to 4pm. The service writer informed me that early was good and proceeded to gather all pertinent information. After this point, I waited for two hours with no update about my vehicle. Ten minutes after 6pm, I went to ask about my vehicle, they kept pulling up someone else's name, then found my paperwork-my vehicle was ready. Keep the customer informed about what is going on. Do not leave me to assume anything about the service I am receiving. Again, I am usually very satisfied with my service at Castle, but yesterday left a lot to be desired.
They were professional and I would go back again. Great service.

New Tires for my 2011 Buick Lucerne
On Sept. 2, 2015, Castle Buick GMC installed new tires on my 2011 Buick Lucerne at 44798 miles on the odometer, as covered under their program. An alignment was needed, and minor corrections were made. My wife will now be driving a like-new car. A check of the brake pads showed at least 10,000 miles (1 year for us) before needing service . Thank you Veronica (service advisor) for handling the deal set up through Tom Wentz (service manager).
I had a great experience buying my Enclave at Castle 4 years ago and have had an excellent experience having the car serviced with them since. From the free oil changes and complimentary car wash, to the timely repair work at fair prices, the whole experience has been pleasant. Castle really knows how to put their customers first. After finding a car I was interested in from Cars.com, I called in to ask for the carfax and a few details about the car... I then got passed to 3 different people on the phone then told they would call back, 2 hours later I had to call back THREE times to get the info I needed about the car. After being quoted (I brought print outs) by TWO other dealers, I was confident that my trade-in car was worth around 5k So pre-approved myself with my bank (credit score is 800+) took time off work and I drove up to see the car (TWO HOURS DRIVE)When I arrived I got passed to yet another salesmen (4th if you are counting), this one had no idea who I was, and what I wanted.. he couldn't TYPE, had no idea what a CARFAX is (what year is this?) what a mess... the guy was a joke. He was the worst.Finally after test driving the car they came back and LOWBALLED me super hard on my trade in. They only offered me 3k?? & only offered 500 off the price of the car... then refused to offer more for my car. Like not a penny. I would have taken a huge step down but they just wouldnt even budge... not one more penny in my direction.. I just don't think that is how you sell a car. They acted like they didn't give a sh*t about me and I had to leave empty handed and frustrated.Ultimately, they low balled me, treated me like a joke, and insulted me with a offer on the my trade-in I'd have to be an idiot to take.If you are looking for a Fair trade in and dealership that is willing to do what it takes to get your business.. I had been looking for a new 2014 Buick Encore on cars.com for about a month. I went to a few dealers with in an hours drive looking for a great price on a New Buick Encore with no luck until i made contact with Castle Buick GMC in North Riverside, IL. Bait and Switch
came in for a free oil change that was advertised when i bought the new vehicle. instead, I walked out with a $100 charge for maintenance.And had to wait a long time, despite having made an appointment.

Everything was fine with the purchase of my new Acadia 2015. The only "problem" was that the car I have seen on Cars.com and that they told me was still available, was instead not there anymore. Anyway, after my complains for that, they offered me a different car but at the same exact price (actually they offered me a car listed on cars.com for an higher price, at the same lower (few hundreds $$) price of the one not anymore available). I then fully recommend Castle Buick for any purchase, just come prepared knowing what you want and they will for sure will find the right deal for you.
Warranty Service for 2015 Buick Regal chrome wheel
My 2015 Buick Regal was purchased at Castle Buick GMC in Feb. 2015. On April 2, 2015, I had an appointment to replace the right front chrome wheel when I found the chrome flaking off in two places. Robert Mendoza, the service person handled the warranty claim from start to finish, after I consulted previously with the service manager, Tom Wentz. I always have my car serviced at a dealership, and Castle Buick Is one I can trust. I'm really happy I use them. I won't go to anyone else. After scouring the net for the best price for an SUV I found the perfect match at Castle via Autotrader.com - a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee w/ super low miles and nearly every option ($310 Weathertech floor mats included!). Submitted an online inquiry and Castle immediately contacted me to schedule a test drive. Visited 2 dealers prior to going to Castle - which was conveniently located near me in the Oak Park area. The 2 previous dealers (located further away from me) couldn't even come close to the Castle price for the same year, make, model, and mileage vehicle. Met with and test drove the Jeep with Che Bess. We talked numbers and he was happy to accommodate my buying requests and terms. They honored the internet price and were able to get good terms with my wife's limited credit. I obtained everything he required for financing and came back 2 days later and sealed the deal - The purchase also came with free oil changes for life! I brought my 2013 Buick Regal in for its scheduled oil change and 30,000 mile maintainence. I have had on-going issues with the touch handle on my driver side door and Rob communicated back with the engineers at GM. In the end I have a new handle on order. The service was great and I had my loaner car before I was done with the paperwork. Excellent job as usual.

I was experiencing an issue on my way into work with my windshield washer fluid not working. (It was not frozen) Being that it was a snowy and icy day it was very urgent to get this fixed. Robert the service rep was extremely kind and professional. Although they did not have any appointments for the day he understood the urgency and took my vehicle in for service. They shuttled me to work and everyone I encountered were extremely courteous and professional. I would highly recommend this service department.

The customer service was great, everyone was friendly. Oscar our sales clerk took time and showed us cars under cold weather conditions. He was very informative and answered our questions as well as any concerns. Even the manager stopped by to say hi and how we were doing. They all were nice people.
I highly recommend working with AJ. I didn't have the greatest experience with the sales department, but the service department has been great at helping me. They are friendly and made sure that my requests were made. AJ was excellent.
I've been having a problem with my oil after having an oil change within a month or so the check engine light comes on so now I bring it to LT or AJ and now they are doing a oil consumption check they are trying to get to the bottom of this and what they're friendly service I would recommend them to to anybody
Fast and friendly service
I took my car into the Castle Buick service department cause I could hear a rattling sound while driving. They called me to inform me that I would need new struts which was covered under my warranty and that my brakes also needed changing which was not covered under the warranty. I received my car back in just 2 days. I was really impressed at how fast they fixed all my car problems in such a short time.

I had an appointment to put change the parts that had been recalled. Just before taking the car in an error light stating that my engine power was reduced occurred. Also my car would not accelerate over 20 mph. Gus told me that they would take care of it and they did. My car is back to running as it did before. Once more Castle Buick offered great service and I am very satisfied. Gus was really great. This was my first time being serviced by him but all of the guys (and gals) are always wonderful!

I went there on dec. 1, 2014 for the recall on my car. I have been having issues with my car every since. It turned out that the issues I have did involved the recall, but the employee aj really helped me, and told me to bring him the car . I did and they fixed the issue. Thank you aj for making an already stressful event less stressful, because I truly thought that they was going to give me a hard time.

Liars and swindlers.
Dealership advertises free tires for life, but when the time comes, they do not fulfill their promise, claiming that you have to purchase additional services to qualify. Dealership tries to sell unnecessary maintenance not recommended by the factory. Tries to make you replace parts that are not yet worn out, such as brakes. Do not recommend. I feel lied to and cheated.
Best service department
I have only had my car in a few times however, that's all it took. For the first, in my experience with dealerships I felt like they really cared. The mechanic ( Rory) even came an spoke with me and explained to me what I needed. I was very happy with my service, could not ask for more.

They were nice enough in person. The day after not reaching a deal, they called me back. We talked, sales person said he would get back to me. He never did. Tried calling two others, same thing. Nice!
Way too busy
I have always used dealerships. Just moved here and I had scheduleded an oil change. I arrived at the entrance door, but the bay was full. I was left outside the door for 12 minutes without so much as a nod from anyone inside. Finally the door opened and I entered. I am used to being greatet and directed by someone at this point, but there was no one. This is my first time here. I went through a door, a young women was seated behind a counter and I informed her I had a 3pm appt for an oil change. I was told to stand over there on the rug and someone would be with me. I was taken to a stall where I was accosted with attempts to buy more services, finally I was able to state I just wanted the oil changed today. and the car checked over. I asked if there were any recalls, and was told there was a possibility that the key could be withdrawn while the car was running. I asked the to check this. still don't know if they checked the air in the tires. While I was waiting, I spoke with another customer who had been waiting for three hous just to get her oil changed. She had been a long time customer and had purchased two cars here, but stated there were many new people and services had dramatically changed for the worse. No one had even come out to tell her things were running behind. After an hour, I was shown a plug that had been stripped and told it was done by the previous dealership. Truthfully, Imhave no way of knowing if their mechanic had just used the wrong tool or if this was a previous mistake. It resulted in me having to pay for another plug and wait another hour for them to go to another store to get the plug. They didn't even put a protective paper on the floor, and they got greasy dirt on the carpet in the drivers seat. They hadn't checked to see if the key was faulty which after requesting this once again the salesman did. Luckily it was not faulty. This was all in all a bad experience. If you want to be treated without basic common courtesy, human dignity, and respect, by all means zip on over to Castle. I for one will try somewhere else.

I recently found a car on CARS.com and ended up working with Ernie Bell. He was very kind and not too pushy. He listened to my needs and he went above and beyond my expectations. He, along with the rest of the Castle Buick staff, were friendly and personable throughout this experience. I would recommend this dealership for any car services!

I am financing a 2011 gmc terrain and am not satisfied from what happened to me today. The vehicle stalled while driving on the expressway. I brought it in for service in October 31st to the Castle Buick GMC in north riverside...for an inspection for brakes, oil change, everything and told everything was running perfectly and car is up to date. I've had this car for only 9 months and am only the second owner of this vehicle and was stranded for 5 hours on the expressway on my way home from work. I also tried contacting GMC to "schedule an appointment" was told if there is an opportunity for service on December 1st we will call you. NOT WHAT I WANTED TO HEAR. If someone is stranded and the car stalled on the expressway you would not know when to call to "SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT FOR SERVICE" I would take this as an emergency since the car stalled on the expressway and everything else was operable besides engine or transmission. Brand new vehicle less than 9 months having this vehicle. I am very aggravated what been told to me by the rep Vicky on the chat online. Did not say any thing just oh sorry to hear and I understand then nothing. Now I am out of a vehicle till as you say " we will call you when there is an opportunity for service".

Even with an appointment a simple oil change is 2hrs. They don't even offer you a loner car anymore when getting a repair & they try to charge you for EVERYTHING now. I used to love this dealership when I bought my first car from here but now dealing with Castle for the 2nd time the customer service has regressed & I'm so disappointed & I wouldn't buy another car here

Took my 2011 Regal in for service on the passenger side, rear turn signal. I spoke to service rep AJ and he couldn't have been any more helpful and friendly. Even though it wasn't a major service repair, he still took the time out to explain what they needed to do to fix the turn signal and let me know approximately how long it would be to fix since I was waiting for the vehicle. He sent it though the wash and I was out of there in no time at all! I will definitely be returning to the dealership for future repairs.
My experience is always excellent. I am treated with the utmost respect and the service consultants always explains in detail the sevice required, and because of this I don't feel like I'm being taken advantage of. I love my Buick LaCrosse!!!

My Recent Purchase at Castle Buick
Me & my Fiance' came in just recently looking for a car. We went on-line to a website Cars.com and came across the vehicle I was looking for as well as the price range i could afford!!! Now me and my fiance' have ben in customer service for years, so we know/expect to be treated the way customers should be treated. At this particular dealership the Gentleman (TOM RIGGIO) was ABSOLUTELY THE BEST... From beginning to the end as far as getting us what we wanted in the car for me as well as monthly payments. This Gentleman Tom went above and beyond, to make sure we were happy/comfortable and not just trying to get a SALE like a lot of places!!! Now beacuse of the experience with Castle Buick over on Cermak Road, me and my fiance' will actually be going back to trade in her vehicle which we/she hates, but MAKING SURE TOM IS WHO WE'RE GOING TO SEE FOR OUR PURCHASE!!! Unsatisfactory Sales Experience
Went into dealership to see cars listed on the Internet. Alfonso couldn't find the cars even though he had the keys. We sat alone most of the time while he went running around. When discussing price on a car that test drove and trying to negotiate the price, he told me I shouldn't be looking at that car if that was what I had to spend. I told him I came into see the cars that I told him about and he left again, looking for the cars. After waiting for him for another 15 minutes, we got up and left. He saw us walk to our car and never tried to stop us. Obviously, he didn't want to sell a car that day. We went to another dealership and I purchased a Verano. His loss.
The Sales associate and manager were very nice and helpful. They were not pushy and made sure that I had an opportunity to look at all the cars I was interested in without pushing things on me that I was not interested in. Very knowledgeable about their cars.

Becareful It Can Happen To You
Bought a used 2008 Malibu less than two months ago and it was a horrible purchase. First week the steering wheel locked on me as I was driving with my kids in the car. Second the computer system went out on the car and it makes my door locks go crazy. The display lights no longer work. The car needs new breaks. I was on my way to work when I turned the ignition and smoke started coming out of the hood and the car no longer turns on. Do not purchase cars from there and their service repairs is horrible no customer service. I wish someone would told me about their bad experience at Castle Buick before making a bad decision to purchase my car from them. I understand is used vehicle however I understand the car goes on a full inspection before been sold to a consumer or at least that's what I was told by the sales rep.Took the car to dealer to find out it's a $900 repair just to get the car stared. If I do not decide to fix it with them they want to charge me $140 for the diagnostics. I tried speaking to the sales Mgr Jose and he was not willing to work with me at all. He told me I should of bought the extended warranty, I explain I paid 9k cash for a vehicle that I can no longer use and his best answer was I should have not bought the vehicle if I couldn't afford the warranty. And now it seems they are more concern to make money off me than to deal with the problem. I was sold a dry lemon. Do not let these people scam you. I will be contacting BBB and making a formal complaint. And I am also filing a complaint with the Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan, consumer protection department.

I have a 2012 Buick lacrosse which I bought new at this dealership over the last 15 years I have bought at 10 cars from here with never a problem which is why I hate writing this my Buick has been in the shop 6 time for the same problem and they can't and now won't fix it they claim it's my phone but I tell them I have had 5 phone and still have same problem I ask to have a gm rep come look and he won't call if this is how you treat good loyal customers. Maybe I am better buying somewhere else
Totally unorganized. Promised me and my family over the phone. That the vehicle we wanted was there. It was a gimmick to get us there and try to sell us something else. Very classless environment with no leadership. Luis the manager was a tool.
Stop They Have Tricks
I purchased what I thought was a new Buick Regal in the 2012 of May. Later I found out it was a loner. Since I have had this car ther has been something wrong with it. My car is in for repairs at least once every two months.I have been trying to return the car for a more dependable car. Alonzo was my sales person and he was wonderful during the purchase but afterwards he acted like he didn't know me. Tried talking to the manager Gus but still hit a brick wall.My car is currently in the shop because it hesitates when you get down on the gas and then all of the sudden takes off and my brakes are squeeking. I was told that they felt it to -they meaning the service department.. They asked if they coul keep my car another day to try and duplicate the problem. I said yes. This was on Thursday, April 23, 2014 - today is Sunday, April 26, 2014 and they still have doing out what is wrong with the car. I called on Saturday to check the status and was told the fixed the brakes; that was something loose; they could not fix the problem with the hesitation. I was told to come and pick up the car and bring it back if it happens again. I said no because that would put my life in danger. I then informed him that I would have my husband call back. Now they are willing to talk about giving me another car.Just know that you will be special on until the sale is complete!
I consider myself a relative patient, laid back person. I have refrained multiple times from posting a negative review. Unfortunately, I can no longer bite my tongue with Castle. I will start with a positive though. I think Rudy tries hard at his job. I also thought Paul was sincere and tried hard to (in a non-pushy way) to help me buy a car. I would have liked him to have been more knowledgeable and more assertive with the service and finance people, but hopefully that will come with more experience. After we finally decided on a car and worked out the numbers, an area where Paul was lacking and should have brought in his manager, I was excited to sign the papers. That excitement disappeared over a hour and 45 minute wait. The lone finance person working - he claimed - was in well over his head. Not only did he fail to ask if I wanted to keep my existing license plate, he had numerous mistakes in reporting my information to the bank handling my loan. I hope my credit isn't tarnished from being late with my first payment. The next issue was with an item left in the car I traded in, which I know was my mistake but nevertheless had me question the integrity of their service people. I had further issues when I had a dent fixed that I missed in the darkness of purchasing the car. They stated the car was ready, but then had me wait 45 minutes when I arrived. This wait did not include the "free" car wash. I would like to take advantage of the services they build into the price of the car, but I am skeptical. I will give them one more chance, but expect an update to this post if it does not go well. They either need to hire more people or manage people's time better. I think they have some nice people there, but management and/or training appears to be lacking.

Cermak Rd, North Riverside, IL 60546I want everyone to know about the great guys and the experience that I had at Castle Buick.I had to take my car in for service because the ABS light was on and AJ (service dept) listened to my complaint knowing that I was upset and frustrated after only having it for a little over 2 months. AJ didnt break; he kept his cool and listened to my complaints. After looking over the car, AJ informed me of what needed to be done, and how much the warranty would cover and what my out of pocket cost would be. I then asked him to put my car back together and that I needed to talk with Mr. Owens. AJ handled the situation very professionally and he then informed me that he would write the service suggestion up and take it over to the cashier. While waiting, I asked for Corey Owens who came over to greet me and he listened carefully to my problem. Mr. Owens knew that I was quite upset and he also was quite patient and understanding and took out the time to find out what my warranty would cover and what my out of pocket cost would be. After speaking with the service dept, Mr. Owens decided that he would cover the entire cost along with giving me a loaner, no cost to me which is something new that theyve started when loaning out cars you must have $200.00 on a credit card. Mr. Owens apologized for the inconvenience and handled the business.With all of that being said, I was pleasantly pleased with the end results and would most definitely refer any one whos looking for a car to visit Castle Buick, North Riverside, IL. If you can, ask for Corey hell get the job done. We as consumers, can appreciate doing business with trust worthy businesses. Thanks again Corey for handling my situation in the manner that you did. I scheduled an oil change and a key FOB remote programming at Castle Buick. I was told that it would be 35 dollars for the oil change and 70 dollars for the keys programmed. 1.5 hours later the service manager came in to inform me that the "modulator" went out on my car, they not able to program the new keys, and now my original key no longer functioned and that they would have to charge me 500 dollars for a new part to have my car working again. I was rightfully upset and stated on their watch this had taken place, and that they are fully accountable. The man argued with me and I asked for his manager. Then the other manager brought in the mechanic who told me that when attempting to program the keys, he received information that the modulator already had 3 key numbers inputed and it only had a capacity for 4, SO HE ERASED THE CODES. He then stated when he tried to input the new codes it WOULD NO LONGER FUNCTION. The mechanic told me they were not accustomed to working on the Solstice car model. Then the service manager told me that these parts eventually go out and he could perhaps lower the 500 dollar replacement charge to 330.00 but would have to order it. He asked if he should then order it. So here I stood without a fully functioning car being told that they could repair their own incompetence at my expense. I told them to order the part but I did not feel comfortable about all that had passed. They told me to return in 2 days to have the part installed. I left with my oil changed and a car that now had it's alarm, door locks, and trunk disengaged. I drove to a third party for technical advice. I visited with a representative from Gerber Auto, who has worked on my car before through my insurance USAA. I asked him his professional opinion. He stated that all Castle had to do was scan the remote keys. He stated that Castle Buick had an untrained mechanic or and they were likely trying to excuse their poor service. I called GM that evening to make an official complaint against Castle Buick GMC. I still have to return to have the part replaced Castle destroyed but maybe based on the other reviews here I should cut my losses and just file a complaint with Lisa Madigan's State Attorney Office.

My mechanic found that someone had turned off the "check engine" light without fixing the problem. That could have been the previous owner, but if my mechanic found it, the dealership's mechanics almost certainly knew about it also. The car was advertised as "flawless." The grille was cracked, there were multiple chips in the windshield, and the hubcaps were cheap after-market and not even installed correctly. The interior was described as "mint condition." It was very good, but definitely not mint. I asked to see the 172-point maintenance inspection that the car had passed with "flying colors." I was shown a list of about two dozen things, and not all of them were marked as passed. Some were not even marked at all. I was told that the less than standard items had been fixed, but my mechanic found otherwise. Nevertheless, the sales personnel were friendly and I didn't feel pressured. I expected to be able to negotiate a better price due to the problems my mechanic found. They gave me a discount for the engine problem, but wouldn't budge on anything else. At this point, I am happy with the outcome, but wonder if other problems are going to show up. I will not rush back to this dealer because of the deception I encountered. I prefer to work with people whom I can trust to tell the truth from the start.

Warmly greeted upon entering the Dealership, immediately taken to the Vehicle I came to see, there was no pressure to look at other cars, or pushy salesperson tactics. Took the car for a test drive, made the decision to purchase the vehicle.Although I was already Financed through my Credit Union, Castle Buick's finance department beat my Credit Union's Rate by over 2 whole points, helping me to achieve the affordable monthly payment I had preset for myself. I was truly satisfied with my experience at Castle Buick, the sales associates, and the manager I dealt with concerning my loan options. Scam, Scam, Scam!!! Took my 2007 Cadillac Srx, which I bought there and on 12/18/2013 for an oil change and a tire rotation after 2 Hours (7:20am-9:20am), which is ridiculous. When I go out to get my vehicle I inspect the tires and notice they had not been rotated which cost me $26.00. The reason I know this is that my front passenger rim has a big scrape on it that I scraped with the sidewalk a few months ago was still in the right side so it had not been rotated and the tire pressure reading was 27psi drivers, 29psi, drivers which I had noticed a few days ago. This is displayed in the information display on the dash and the readings were still identical. Why would I pay 26.00 for a tire rotation and then complain that they were not rotated its not like I would gain from this. They would then put the tires back where they were, right? I complained to no avail they told me tech rotated them and just gave me my receipt back. CHECK YOUR SECURITY CAMERAS SO YOU CAN SEE THIS WAS NOT DONE!!!! BEWARE
