I reached out to Carman Ford about a week ago when I decided that a new car was needed. I submitted an inquiry about a Ford F-150 and it was John who reached out to me. I met John in person and I found him to be friendly, patient and able to answer any and all of my questions. Erwin Lee worked with me and my wife and I as we worked through the paperwork and made sure we understood everything we were sighting. It was my confidence in John and Erwin that I felt comfortable purchasing a new Ford from Carman. I took delivery of my long anticipated 2017 Lincoln continental on October 14 th. I had ordered it about five months ago when Carman could first place orders for the new model. It is an eye stopper plus wit having only driven 120 miles it seems an amazing improvement over my 2013, which i really enjoyed for 107,000 miles.This is the fourth Lincoln since 2006. Plus I've purchased three Fords as well. Service, support and attention to detail makes this dealership exceptional. I feel I got a very fair deal, great personal attention from Dan Shine and sales manager Frank. Wrapping up delivery and paperwork with Erwin was a delightful experience. This is the first dealership I've gone to that made me feel at home. I have served in the U. S. Army and now retired. During my military and civilian travels, I have visited several Ford dealership, but none like Carman Ford. As I was pulling into Carman Ford, I was greeted by salesman Mark Zambrana in the parking lot. We shook hands and proceed to talk about my favored subject, "Ford Trucks"!!!!!!!! Mark, introduced me to business manager Bob Hepner and from that point on, they both made me feel like I was part of the Carman Ford family, by going above and beyond to get me qualified for a Ford Truck. They both took the time to keep me posted on the Truck I was wanting, and had me financially qualified within 72 hours. After visiting another dealer for the same model, I thought I may have had a deal, but, for some reason, was not quite comfortable. I stopped by Carman just to support the notion I had already decided. I was more than pleasantly surprised after coming to Carman. Nick listened to what I was really after, took me to the lot, and, not only did they have the car I really wanted, but the deal not only better, but handled far better than I expected. Both Nick and the manager walked me through several ways to handle the financing. Although there were several options, they did not pressure us or try to lead us in any direction. The entire experience was one of the best I have had in over 50 years of car buying. I will recommend Carman to my friends.

This was one of the easiest purchases I've ever made. Our new MKX has everything we were looking for in a new vehicle, and the folks at Carman just cemented our decision to make the purchase. We have two small children (under three years old), so the entire process took four different trips to Carman. Gary and the rest of the sales team did an outstanding job of accommodating our schedule/situation. When I had the time, Gary had the time. And, there was never any pressure to make a deal before I left the dealership. On my second visit, the only visit without the kids, Gary spent nearly two hours discussing what would work best for my family and answering all of my questions. At no point did I feel pressured to add options or features that were not essential, even though they could have resulted in the sale of a more expensive vehicle.Purchasing a vehicle from a luxury brand comes with certain expectations, and the team at Carman Lincoln did not disappoint.

Chris helped my son purchase a truck. He treated my son with respect and discussed many options and ideas that fit my sons criteria. As it was my sons first big purchase, Chris included me in the conversation and allowed me to voice my input. Although it was my sons decision I respected Chris's approach. I showed interest in a used truck, but Chris, through his research offered me alternative that could better suit my interest. I stayed with Chris as my sales professional for the way he treated my son. Chris worked with me and did not push too far, he respected my point of view and where my thought process and position I took on looking for a vehicle. I have never found a dealership I wanted to revisit, let alone a sales consultant. When I was looking for a car for my step-daughter the first place I went was Carman Ford and asked for Chris Brousseau. He was so wonderful when I purchased my car that I wanted to return and have him help her find one. And anyone who has a teenager understands how difficult it is to look at cars with them for they are more interested in the auxiliary port for there phone than the practicality of the car. Chris not only listened to her in what she wanted but also what we were looking for including price. We ended up leaving with all of us being happy, how often does that happen that the parents and the teenager both leave happy and in agreement. And not only is Chris a great guy but Mike Sipala is the best as well, they will work with you and do everything within their power to get you the best deal they can on your sale and trade. Again Chris and Carman are my first stop when looking for a vehicle.

my f150 got hit in front of my house back in june. When I took it to carman ford I expressed that I needed it back for work asap...I took it to a ford dealer thinking things would be fixed right and go quicker. I was told it would be done in a week , it did not... then I was promised it back on about a dozen other dates throughout the summer. I then asked if they would do a trade in on the damage truck and let me buy a new one. I was told no. I then called the sales manager but a return phone was never made back to me. It took 3 months to fix my truck. I made numerous phone calls asked to speak to various managers and even the owner. Never got a call back. The staff was always polite so it was hard to get angry but having the entire summer without my truck took away all the faith I have in this dealership. When I picked it up they apologized numerous times and offered to detail my car. I am not sure how many months that may take so I will pass on the offer... I really wish they would have just communicated with me instead of ignoring me. This rating is for the body shop but got to say I do not think I would even consider buying a vehicle since even the owner failed to respond.

My friend and I were in on Aug.18. We were going to buy your 2005 yellow mustang for 8800. The finance manager proceeded to tell us that we could not purchase it, at this time he insulted us by telling us that our car was not worth nothing. What he didn't know and didn't try to know was that I was sitting with 32000 in my pocket. He had no interest in tying to sell the car. I thought that that was what you are there for.. My whole family and friends have always bought there but no more. Very disappointed with dealership.

Purchased a Chevy at a Ford/Lincoln dealer. I was led to believe that it had the remainder 5yr/100,000 warranty. The dealer knew of the problem but did not offer to fix it, saying that it has to be repaired by Chevy. Rather they gave me $250 toward the cost of repair. Sloppy they should have repaired it for me at no cost. They did advertise the car as under warranty and not "as is".

There were lights out that they didn't or wouldn't fix a marker light and both tow mirror blinkers were not working. When I picked the truck up it was parked by a curb I checked the truck and everything seemed OK but when I got home one of the Nerf Bars/Side Step had fresh white paint and a damage about 18 inches long. I called the next morning and sent pictures and I was just told that it is my problem and I felt like they said I hit something. I traveled from NJ to Delaware to buy this truck and paid over $20,000.00 and thought I would have been treated better. John Brookings was very nice I guess his hands were tied and couldn't help me, they don't even fill the gas tank.

So unfortunately I have had a terrible experience with this dealership. I went in here in search of a pickup truck. Worked up some numbers with Scott and then decided to go across the street to the Dodge dealership to see what other options there might be. Shortly thereafter my phone rang and Scott said he could actually sell me the Dodge I was interested in because it was also a Carman dealership. I tried to be nice because I know sales associates work off commission and I had worked with Scott first but it turned into a crazy battle with all sorts of drama between the dealerships when I tried to purchase the Dodge from Scott. At one point I actually had to call the manager at the Carman Dodge to have him let me buy the Dodge from Scott because I was told by the manager at the Ford that they wouldn't allow me to buy it at the Ford dealership. So, while Scott had assured me he could sell me the truck, it took 2 days to resolve the drama and did not provide a very good customer experience with me witnessing all the bad blood between the two dealerships. After I finally finished the paperwork (which took about 2 hours despite having secured financing and making an appointment beforehand) I was written an IOU from Scott because my truck had no floor mats. It's been 2 months and I STILL do not have my tags or floor mats (even though I was promised by Scott that the mats were being ordered and shipped to my house). I've had to follow up at least 3 times - never has Scott taken the initiative to update me (even a bi-weekly update would be nice). Definitely can tell he's not that interested after the sale is over. I have trouble reaching someone there every time I call, had to convince them to give me a 1/2 tank of gas when I found my new truck on E, and in the 2 months I've had the car, the check engine light has come on numerous times and I have lost my power steering capabilities in the 2014 truck at random times. Overall, my experience with both of these Carman dealerships has been highly Unsatisfying and I would urge consumers to purchase their vehicle anywhere else.

Having spent 35 years as a customer service professional, I found my experience with Carman truly inspiring. You should start a c/s consulting business. This is a serious evaluation. It is rare to do business with a company that is so focused on the customer experience. Although I am old and my Lincoln will probably be my last car, if I had the need purchase another, Carman is the only dealer I would ever go to. From my original contact, through purchase, ownership and servicing, the team at Carman made me feel comfortable, calm, and reassured. I never even thought about the price. Price is not a consideration when you present a quality product and superior service. I would like to commend Mr, Paul Montefiore for making me feel I had a good day on Wed. Forget what the majority says about car salesman being sharks. John Brooking was the gentleman that helped me with the purchase of my 2014 Mustang and I am very happy with it! He knew exactly what he was doing. Excellent representative of your company. I didn't even have to ask for the "carfacts" because he already had them ready to go. I bought a used car at Carmen Ford Lincoln in New Castle Delaware. Within the week I noticed the car had unusual vibrations when it was idling. I told the sales rep what was going on and he blew me off and sent me to the service department. When I went to get the car checked out I was told I had to pay $500 for repairs on the car. I had to repair the car because the vibrations were getting worse and it was an engine mount problem. When I contacted the sales department and the service managers I was told I could not get a refund because they didn't notice the problem when they inspected it. It is not my fault that they couldn't find the broken part or decided to sell it even though it was broken. I also think that when the sales rep saw two women come in for a car that I was taken for a fool and sold a broken car. I didn't even get a key fob to unlock my car. The sales rep told me it was impossible to get one because it wasn't turned in when the vehicle was given to them. I came in on my own later and was given TWO. The laziness of the salesman astounded me. I will never again buy a Ford. I do not trust the people there and think that it is very shady that broken and faulty vehicles can be sold and customers robbed blind. I am thoroughly disgusted with my experience.

When my wife said she wanted to buy herself a new Mustang we knew there was only one place to go, CARMAN Ford!. Carman made the process pain free and quick. Since my wife was purchasing the Mustang she went in and picked one out and worked with Brad Drummond on the deal. I was unable to go with her that day and came on another day in which Brad was off. Nadir Ahmedjanov was kind enough to take me for a test drive even though he knew I was not the one buying the car. From the moment I spoke with Bob Karan and Todd Brabender they made me feel like family and really worked hard to give my wife the best possible deal. Mike Sipala did a great job on getting the trade in worked and what a deal it was! Then comes to the finance office. This is the office which makes everyone sweat. I can tell you that Bob Hepner took all the anxiety away and he made it a pleasure to sit in his office. This was our 4th vehicle from Carman and from they why they do business this will not be our last! Thank you once again!

Being a previous Ford and Lincoln owner, Carman Ford Lincoln use to be our first stop for service. We left Carman due to some issues with the Service Team. Recently we saw the vehicle we ultimately purchased driving by the lot, and decided to stop in after previous conversation with Gary, the first salesman. Gary was extremely nice and easy to talk to with no pressure. He was very helpful, and although he had to hand us off to Jai after the test drive, we weren't disappointed. Jai was patient with all of our questions, and went above and beyond, taking a true interest in our concerns. Erwin was efficient in his delivery with explaining the paperwork, and by the time we received our keys, we were truly at ease about our purchase. The Sales Team was AWESOME, and I look forward to getting reacquainted with the entire Carman Family again!

I don't often submit reviews, but wanted to recognize the stellar team at Carman Ford in New Castle. I submitted an inquiry through the online chat feature on the Carman website. Heather Devich was my assigned representative and from the very beginning she was courteous, professional, and made me feel like she genuinely cared about my husband and I finding the right vehicle for us. I told her I was interested, but we weren't ready to commit. She provided me her information and promised to follow up.Well- She did! The next day I received a phone call from Heather educating me on some of the different vehicles that were in stock. I peppered her with questions and she was able to answer most of them and for those she wasn't able to answer she provided a quick turnaround on getting an answer. We had received quotes from several dealerships but Heather was steadfast in wanting to earn our business and explained why Carman was the right choice.Having worked in the financial industry for the past 8 years I can appreciate the level of due diligence Heather put into our transaction and that resonated with us when we decided to visit Carman to commit to purchasing our 2016 Ford Explorer Sport. I actually stopped in two months prior to my purchase, and made it clear that I wasn't there to buy that day, just to ask some questions about the truck since I was doing some comparison shopping. Joe took the time to go over everything about the truck with me, without any pressure to buy. He's very knowledgeable and thorough about what he's selling. When I returned to the dealership to buy the truck, Joe had me out of there in a little over an hour (including the test drive). The sales manager and finance guy were great also. I found this truck online and contacted the dealership. An e-commerce associate answered my questions. I went to Carman Ford in New Castle, DE and walked around the lot. As I was entering the building, an associate, Chris B., greeted me and asked what brought me in. After a brief conversation, we began to look at the specific F150 I had inquired about earlier that day. The truck was in stock. Chris talked to me about the features and options on this truck. I test drove the vehicle and decided to buy it. The sales manager, Mike, took time to speak with me and seemed genuinely interested in me, not the purchase of the new truck.The finance manager, Bob, was fantastic! My husband and I had an awesome experience at Carman Ford. Not only did we leave with the car we wanted, we received excellent service from the time we entered the front door. Joseph Giacchino met and greeted us while opening the front door and then served us with the utmost professionalism. He knew his job, made us feel welcome and wanted as a customer. He thanked us for our business. Todd Brabender and Dan Miller (the finance managers) greeted us and assured us they could work our deal, and did so quickly, staying well within all of our financial limits. They too were very professional. Mr. Robert Hepner prepared the paperwork quickly and with ease. He was professional and yet engaged us in funny conversations, as he did his job. All of our information on the paperwork was correct. This was the easiest and quickest process I ever remember receiving at a car dealership. Lastly, I called the next day to obtain a missing item and the receptionist Laurie was just as pleasant and professional as the rest of the sales team. I typically purchase vehicles where I can find the vehicle meaning simply I will travel virtually anywhere and have to purchase a pre-owned vehicle. I found the 2012 F-150 Harley on line and after viewing the pictures contacted the dealership to see the vehicle in person. I met with Greg Gremaldi and Todd (the sales manager) who let me look over the vehicle, drive the vehicle and make my decision to buy. No pressure - no hype just a great condition - awesome truck that was represented as best as possible. When it came to putting the deal together it was like ordering lunch.....no issues, no problem "we'll make it happen" was the attitude. I will be back again to deal with these great folks. I'll make the drive from PA to DE to purchase again and again.

When I started looking for a new car and stopped at Carman to look at the MKC Gary Santora came out and introduced himself and asked if he could help me. I told him I was just looking and didn't need any help at the time. He said, "he would be glad to show me around". I said I was just looking and did not need any help. He said, "I guess you want me to leave you alone so you can get started". I said,"Yes". He read me completely and left me alone. I was very impressed with the MKC and before I left I picked up one of Gary's business cards.When I came back, I went directly to Gary and told him I wanted to drive the car and because of family health concerns I had limited time. He made sure I had my test drives and all the information I wanted keeping in mind I was in a hurry. I found the car I was interested in and purchased it that day. Largely because of the way I was treated.I picked up the car and again I was limited to the time I had. All the employees were very helpful and got me in and out with great speed. Gary went over the vehicular making sure I was comfortable with the car before I left the lot. Robert as manager did a solid job explaining the additional warranty but with a great product like fusion titanium, no need to strong sell after I said no thanks. Not annoying but dropping price to Han POS add'l warranty was not pleasant.

When we visited the dealership to look at and test drive the SUV we found on the internet, the price was the same as quoted to us in advance of our visit. Our sales associate, Scott, was excellent, He was friendly, relaxed, and knowledgeable. We got the car at an excellent price and we also got a good value for our trade-in vehicle. My Mom and I went to Carman to trade in her MKT for something a little smaller. We were immediately greeted by Greg. My Mom at 79 years young had no interest walking the parking lot to look at cars on this cold winter day. Greg asked her what she was looking for and went to the lot to bring the car(s) to her. While we were waiting Jai approached and offered us a seat and a bottle of water. Frank came over and introduced himself and asked if we needed anything while we were waiting. We test drove and LOVED the new MKX. We returned later that night. Knowing my Mom could not sit there for hours, Greg prepared the paperwork so my Mom could come in and finalize the deal. I have been buying from Carman for nearly 30 years. This was the second car I purchased with salesman Dan Shine. This man is the real deal. Zero pressure and respects my family as long term repeat customers. I also worked with Frank Azan again who made the deal happen. I gave 5 stars but really had a very bad experience with Erwin Lee in finance, I kept questioning an issue about an $800 gap insurance charge that I did not want. After 15 minutes of him dancing around my question and telling me over and over he has been doing this for over 20 years and I should trust him, I just gave up trying, signed the papers walked out of his office and went right to Frank Azan who ripped up the paperwork and said I could come in the next day and redo everything with Bob from finance, I came in the next day and was in and out in 5 minutes with the $800 gap insurance charge gone. My daughter is getting ready to have her first child and will be coming in soon to get a brand new car. She will be using Dan and Frank and will be making sure its on a day Bob is working finance not Erwin. A new baby needs its mommy, it can't wait for Erwin to give his never ending I've been doing this 20 years trust me speech to its mommy. Aside from Erwin this place treats you like family with the absolute highest level of courtesy and respect.

I went to carman today to purchase a new F250 and while I was there no one came to assist me. I saw several people in the window looking at me and one even waves at me as I was standing between two trucks. After standing in the cold for over ten minutes with no interaction from the sales staff I decided my money will be spent somewhere else. As I pulled away I drove past the front window and was waved at again. This is poor service in my opinion.

I bought a Used 2008 Ford F-150 from Carman Ford. It was my first time there to buy a vehicle. I give them only 3 stars, because a day or a couple days after I bought it, I found out the CD player did not work. The Salesman Joseph Giachinno and the Used Car Manager took care of it with out any charge to me. Then when I went to check the oil, I could not get the dipstick to come out. When I went to the service center to have it checked out they tried charging me for the dipstick but not the labor and I said "No because it was like that when I bought it", that was when the salesman and the Used Car Manager took care of it, with no charge to me. I would still recommend them to other people, because they always treated me with respect and made the car buying experience enjoyable. They do need to do a better job checking out there vehicles and servicing them, before you sell them to the public.

I give it a 3 because I was disappointed at my service this time however I would still recommend it because of the other times that I've been treated properly, because of John Brookings and Paul. I had an appointment for oil change and ask will they check the rest of the fluids also they told me that they would I left after picking up the car and realized that my windshield wiper fluid was still not working, I got home and called them back, they told me I could bring it back I brought it back and they looked under the hood and realized that my pump wasn't working so they said I would need another one in to bring it back tomorrow so I did that, when I set after 2 hours waiting for the shuttle I asked them since it's been so long maybe my car is ready can you check he looked in the computer and said that my car has not been looked at yet so I said oh boy I thought that was strange after dropping it off at 8 in the morning so on my way home from the shuttle 3 minutes into my ride Ford called me and told me that they have to order the part and that I can get my car I said well I just asked you was my car ready and you told me it wasn't even looked at, now I'm in the shuttle finally going home, so that was a little frustrating so now I have to wait to come back up there to get my car only to still be waiting for them to call me and let me know whether my pump is in, tomorrow will be a week since the initial oil change.

The dreaded days of buying a new car ranked up there with going to the dentist. The sales team at Carman changed all that . I requested a price on a vehicle online and received a response in minutes. All negotiations and finance was done thru email as I was still used to the old style car salesman with their bait and switch tactics and I was going to have it on paper!!! I didn't let my guard down for old style sales tricks till I pulled our new Escape into our driveway. We recently had to take our 2013 Explorer in for a warranty claim for paint bubbling on the hood in 4 locations 2 spots each side near same location. This started in Oct/2014 where the dealership where we purchased the vehicle referred us to Carman Ford for the autobody and warranty claim. the initial contact to Carman was to Guy F. Salvdori Sr. Collison Center Manager at Carman Ford. An appointment was setup for Nov/7 at 9am of which I was there at Carman Ford, Guy was not. A representative was able to take the pictures required to submit the claim. a Week past with no contact. for the next 3 weeks I called weekly, leaving messages for Guy with no response. finally an email to him got a response. This came 1 week to late. guy submitted my claim on 12/17, my warranty ran out on 12/7. of which Ford Motor company is declining the claim, since it was 1 week out of warranty.

Despite the weather affecting movement on the lot, Scott immediately retrieved the vehicle we wished to drive. He listened to what our needs were and provided us with several vehicles to choose from. At no time during this process did we feel any sense of urgency or pressure. Both he and Frank gave us ample time and room to make a decision. It was a simple process to secure financing and again we felt no pressure when finalizing the agreement with Irwin. Having purchased multiple vehicles both personally and for our business in the past, it honestly was a pleasure working with these gentlemen. They facilitated the process but let the car sell itself.

Was a pleasure experience. Went into dealership 2x once for an estimate and once for the sale. The night I stopped by the appraisal, there was no pressure to buy a vehicle at that time. Met with Greg and Todd and they were very accommodating on just getting the appraisal value. Emailed Greg 2 days later and advised I would be in for a purchase, he was available when I arrived and after looking at 2 vehicles started to work up a deal on one, I met with Bob Karan and Erwin to finalize the deal and all were extremely helpful. I would recommend them to others for a vehicle purchase.

We were pretty sure we wanted a Lincoln. After looking at many of the models in their extensive inventory, we decided on the MKX. Gary was great, he is very knowledgable in the products he sells, and is a true gentleman. Frank is very personable and easy to talk to. They both were not pushy at all and willing to deal. I had a 2007 Lincoln MKX and was in the market to look at a new model. I phoned the dealership on a Friday morning and spoke to Dan Shine. He was very polite and looked into a couple of possibilities and phoned me back within a 1/2 hour. I live in Ocean City Maryland and it was a 2 hour drive to the dealership, upon arrival, Dan showed me the vehicle I had seen online and addressed all concerns I had about the vehicle since it was a 2014 and previously leased. He went above and beyond working with me and the end result was driving home the vehicle that I was interested in! All showroom staff including Erwin the Finance manager were very courteous and made me feel very comfortable. I will definitely recommend Carman Ford Lincoln to anyone interested in a new vehicle, and when I'm ready for another new Lincoln, I will certainly return back to see Dan Shine.....

I was in the market for a vehicle. But, I did not have a way to get to the dealership. Dan was kind enough to volunteer to pick me up so I could look over the inventory at Carman Ford-Lincoln. Once there, he was eager to show me and have me test drive whatever vehicle I wanted. He was very knowledgeable and told me what I needed to know about each vehicle. I felt quite comfortable dealing with him because; he did not use pressuring sales tactics. He allowed me to make a decision; based on what I was looking for and the information he was providing me, concerning each vehicle.Because of the thorough information I received I was able to make my decision on which vehicle to purchase in a very short period of time. I also told him were I wanted to be price wise and he did his best to make that happen. Needless to say, my experience at the dealership was very good thanks to Dan.I decided to purchase the Lincoln MKC. I love this vehicle and I thought I would not like a 4 cylinder but this car rides and picks up like a V6 model and, it looks good while doing it. At first, I wanted the ruby red but, I think the new burgundy color was the right choice.Thanks Dan and all other staff members for helping choose the right vehicle.
