Robert will get you approved

I came into the Madison Heights location looking for information on the lease program and was quickly greeted by Robert. Robert went over some methods to find the right financing for me. Soon after he got me approved he asked me if i wanted lunch as well. I told him yes if he is buying and to my surprise he did. I love my car, my sales guide Robert and I would refer Carite Madison Heights and Robert to any of my friends or family members. If could give more stars I would! A+++ performance!

Horrible Customer Service

First of all. They did not have the car that was advertised on this site. The sales person called me back after i submitted a request to "check availability" and when i got there about 1 hour later, the car had been sold. The customer service was horrible, initially, I was greeted and told to sit in the front but, i had to wait a while for the sales person, only to be told the car was sold.

We had our car in for service and we were taken care of by Demetri Murphy.What a great person to have as a service advisor. He made an appointment for us to come in and took care of our problems with our Torrent.He kept us up to date on the the progress of the vehicle and found a problem that also needed to be taken care.I can't thank him enough for taking care of us.

Excellent Service Department

I brought my car in after going to several other repair shops and dealers and was very impressed, with the service I received here. The Service Advisor listened to my concerns, and was able to work me in without an appointment, they explained to me what was wrong with my vehicle and what was needed to repair it, and what maintenance was due on it in a timely and professional manner, they explained the pricing and was able to take me home and pick me up when the car was finished, I will be back from now on Carite will be my first choice to maintain my car.

When I walked in I was just going to browse around. It was a very nice facility. When I got there I was greeted by Paris. He showed us around the showroom. He guaranteed to get m into a car that day and he did. I never thought that I would be approved. He was nice, we laughed and it was a very reasonable price. He said it will help build my credit. If you go to Madison Heights see Paris he is the best. I am very pleased with my purchase so far.

I have to say coming here was all my moms idea. She recently bought a 2008 Saturn truck that she loves and I decided to give the place a chance and I can say I love it. From walking in saying hello to driving off with my car. I came in told them my situation with my old car and they did everything they could to try to help. At first there was nothing they I could do because I was trying to trade in my old car but the condition of my old car was bad and it really wasn't much they could do. The salesman Parris helped me out in told me that he could try something and when he came back he brought up a 2008 dodge caliber that was all black with 62k miles on it. I instantly fell in love with the car because I was already looking for that type of car. Once he found the car instantly had to put money down on it because they cars go really fast. The following week I came in with my down payment I drove off with the car. I'm not going to lie there were some issues but once those got figure out, I was back happy and still am. The best part I love is, if I wanted to get my money back I was able to and other places never give me that choice before. So if you want a good car and good service COME HERE AND SEE PARRIS !

Major Upsell - alarmist perpsective

Tried to use a Groupon for an oil change here. They refused because they said I had a blown head gasket, and I would just be wasting my money - but they had a used engine they could install for just $1,300. Huh...?! Then they said, I'd be lucky to get home. Based on their statements, I was lucky the car just didn't die and rollover... That was last winter. The engine had about 73,000 miles on it. I did have to get an oil leaked repaired - for about $45, and a year later the car is driving fine. And I still have those Groupons - which I will never use!

The CarRite in Madison Heights is a great car dealership that really wants to take care of their customers. We were greeted with a smile as soon as we walked in and we were never pressured at any point. Our sales consultant, Robert Jackson, was very friendly and he walked us through the entire process. My wife heard a noise coming from the engine during our test drive and the service department found a leak in the exhaust system and fixed it before we drove off the lot. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to rebuild their credit. My bankruptcy has only been discharged for a few days and they were able to get me a great rate with a great term that I was comfortable with. I tried going through other dealerships and was only offered interest rates that were above 20%. This dealership was able to get me an amazing rate for just exiting bankruptcy. Come to the CarRite in Madison Heights even if you have been denied every where else.

Amazing Team

I went into the Madison Heights location and was greeted immediately. From the salespeople to what I later found out the managers as well. I've purchased many vehicles and have never felt so welcome and comfortable walking into a dealership before. Matt my salesperson was amazing. The way he explained all my options and choices, I was out right at ease. For someone who has had some credit hiccups in the past, I was very comfortable. Jose the sales manager was great at explaining the financing and how their program was going to help my credit. I have a great car and manager payments. They aren't the lowest but they put me into a budgetable payment plan. Thanks CARite.

Great, honest, no-pressure

I had been looking for a car for 6 months. I had been to 4 or 5 dealers before going to Carite. All were your typical high-pressure, manipulating dealerships. So when I went to Carite I had decided that if I felt at all like I was being conned, I would just leave. But as soon as I started talking to Matt, I could tell he was honest and sincere. It was more like buying a car from a friend than your typical "car-salesman". He made buying a car very stress free. Plus I LOVE my new Regal!! If you're thinking about buying a used car, seriously consider going to see Matt at the Madison Heights Carite.

Phenominal Customer Service

I stopped the Car Rite last week. Ran into a guy named Paris Terry. He was able to help me look at a few vehicles. Overall I was blown away by the professionalism of the entire team. I can say that the Car Rite team puts their customers first.

Problem Solved

Carite was recommended by a friend who happen to be an Sales Associate. My Buying experience was Excellent!! I was turned down by numerous Auto Dealers and thought there wasn't any hope of me getting a new vehicle. I decided to visit Carite the Madison Heights location and I glad I did because I was APPROVED! And not only did they have a wide range of cars to choose from within my budget, the atmosphere here is very welcoming. I had to take my car in due to a faulty sensor ,that cause it to be serviced for a couple of days, And even though I was without a car, Carite understood my pain and frustration. Not only did I get my vehicle fixed I was also compensated for my inconvenience!! Which I greatly Appreciate. Luke "you're my savor"

I'm a single mother who just returned to work after beating bone cancer. I have near 200k in medical debt, and a repo from being out of work sick. My husband left while I was sick, months later my father died. It has been a very hard year. I literally went to 15 dealerships that had guaranteed credit approval. Not one would approve me with a decent car as trade as my down payment. Luke, the sales person was so understanding. I told the truth on my application as well as to the other staff. Not only did I get approved, they gave me a generous amount for my old car and I left same day with a one year old vehicle and no extra money down. The program is excellent in regards to helping your credit and has many perks such as if you were to lose your job. No repo, you can bring the car back. There was a kids area to keep my daughter occupied, we were given beverages while we waited during the process. Luke was very polite and I may have made a friend, came to find out we had a lot in common. Disregard the negative reviews. I'm 29 years old and never in my life was I able to get a car loan without a consigner unless it was for a $600 car with 200k miles. I myself was approved and got nearly a brand new car. Just what I needed to turn my year around. I will send several people their way. Thanks to all the wonderful staff, especially Luke.

Best service ever.

I will start this by saying that I could not even get financed by 3 dealerships owned by family members prior to calling Carite. Paris and his sales manager Jose made this so easy. They worked with me in many different aspects and helped me get into the car that I wanted, not the car that was picked out for me. I am very satisfied and if I could give them 6 stars I would. I am sending all of my friends and family members here!

Don't. Waste Your Time

Prior to purchasing the vehicle, salesperson J Butler had my number on speed dial. After I signed on the dotted line, never could get through to him again. 4 weeks later still waiting for a replacement glove box. Service department put 2nd row seats in backwards. Every time I call I'm place on an EXTENDED hold. I suggest going to a real dealership, they have special financing just like this place.

my sales person was Jose A. and he was very helpful and paid attention to my needs for what I was looking for and the budget I was trying to stay in. within no time he had worked everything out for me and I was ready to come pick up my new car. He has since been promoted to manage and even though I have a had a few things come up with the used car I got he has been quick to getting attention to the matter for me. I am pleased with my experience with the dealership as a whole and I would recommend Jose to a friend anytime.

Outstanding salespeople

This was my first car buying experience. After going to several other used dealers, I went to CARite and was blown away by the friendliness of the staff and the large selection of available cars. Andre, my salesman, and Jose, his boss, were especially helpful. They took the time to explain the different financing options I had, and as a single mother with bad credit, the money was a foremost issue in my mind. Once I decided on a car, CARite made the process as simple as possible. I decided to go with my own bank, which that process took a couple of days as the fault of the bank, not CARite; once i went in with the payment, they had my car inspected and I was able to drive it home within a couple of hours. Their repair shop looks excellent; i haven't used it yet, but plan on writing a review once I do for my first "pit stop" which they scheduled for me the day I got the car.

My first car experience

Carite made financing a car pssible for me. This was my first experience looking for a newer car. I was very out of my element and they helped! Lenny is awsome and helped me with the million questions I had! Thank you carite.

Not So Happy

I called on an ad they had listed with Cars.com to see if the vehicle I was interested in was still available. I was told it was, and made an appointment with Andre to come in with my son to look at it and hopefully complete the sale. I called once again to confirm my appointment and availability before I began my one hour road trip to get to their location. Once I got there, Andre was "not available" and the vehicle I came to purchase was also no longer available. Of course they had nothing left in my price range and only tried to talk me into using my cash money for a down payment. I don't need another car payment. This vehicle is for my son and I'll go halves with him on a used vehicle but I had no interest in getting sucked into a loan. We left empty-handed, disappointed and hungry with my grandson in tow, an awfully long trip for a waste of time.

Great buying experience

the best place I have been to to purchase a used vehicle, they offer a lifetime engine guarantee on all their vehicles, a 3yr 36,000 mile warranty also. I have bad credit and they took care of me and my needs. I then took the car in for an oil change and they only charged me $10.00 + tax, incredible!! I would recommend CARite of Madison Heights to anyone with great credit or bad. it is the best used car dealership I have been to. Thank you CARite team!!

went down to look at a car drove 55 miles one way only to find out they hadnt even checked out the car.....didnt want to sell it wasted trip 110 miles round trip wasted didnt offer anything for my time except a cup of coffee

worst car buying experience

I was sold the biggest lemon in the whole wide world. I got taken for a ride because I needed a car right then immediately. The person who sold me the car convinced me that is was a good purchase and nothing was wrong with it. I bought a ford suv with low miles on it . The last three months, I replaced 3 tires, I bought two head lights and they've gone out twice, the air in the car blows at full blast and wouldn't turn off, and now for the air to be one it won't blow till it is on full blast. Recently the car wouldn't start because of battery issue. Just don't go there, they just take your money and prey on people with bad credit and who are desperate.

99% carite cars are junk !!!!!

I bought my caliber from carite not knowing it was from canada . As soon as i drove off the lot , my car was making alot crackling noise. Found out from a independent mechanic that it had a frame damage. Carite told me it was in a minor accident. I found out CARITE buys cars from canada cause its cheap . Also they don't inspect their cars before selling them . I learned my lesson ! If you want a reliable car for your self or someone you know , GO ELSE WHERE !! THEY SELL CANADIAN REJECT CARS IN U.S. !!!! ask for autocheck it will tell you where the cars is from. If it says it's from canada RUN !

Stopped in to see Jose after a while & after let downs on other dealer lots. His partner, John & Himself went over & beyond to get me a great car. A few weeks ago I decided to stop into CaRite. There I met Jose Arellano. At the time I was paying a car note for a 2002 Intrigue with an ongoing over-heating problem. Jose explained that he could get me financed into another car without having anything to do with the current financing company. It was true. My very first visit I sat with Jose and in 15 minutes I test drove a car and he had me approved for financing! Throughout my entire process Jose was with me every step of the way...even when it came to dealing with my insurance agent...he made sure the insurance agent took care of me. Jose understood that I am a single mom and that I needed something dependable and affordable to drive. Additionally everything he told me that I would be entitled to he gave it to me in writing (day 1 of dealing with CaRite). I am now a proud owner of a 2007 Pontiac G6!!! Thank you Jose!!! No Pushy Sales People

I was able to finance a great car with the help of Jose at Carite. My credit had taken a hit, due to a recent lay off and I didn't think I would ever qualify to buy a new car, but the people at Carite made it possible. No pressure and many test drives later I was able to drive away in a great car. I can highly recommend Carite and the people who work there.
