I went looking for a used car. I approached the lot and all seemed well but all the cars looked a lot worse in person than they did online and even drove worse. I inquired if the prices marked on the vehicle were firm after a short test drive and the salesperson assured me that it was firm and no wiggle room. No free 90 day warranties either to show that they stand behind their cars. Although the salesperson was very nice, there's not a chance that i would purchase anything that i looked at off that lot.

Daniel at Cardinal would be my go to guy again if I ever need another vehicle. I just purchased an Altima from him yesterday and he made the process so easy. He explained things to me how a young woman on her first car buying experience alone would understand it. He worked with me and got me into the car I absolutely fell in love with it. Best part about it, when my dad came to see the car before I signed off, they didn't try to shoo him away like other dealerships would. Daniel let him look at the car completely and was respectful the entire time to both of us. Daniel is awesome and Cardinal really helped me out. Thanks guys!

I had the opportunity to purchase a vehicle from Cardinal Auto Sales. Matt was the most honest customer service oriented sales person that I have met. He was laid back, professional, returned all of my calls, treated me as a priority by promptly addressing every concern that I had and was very efficient in completing my sales documentation. My buying experience with him was effortless and I highly recommend visiting Matt when you are in the market to purchase a used vehicle.

Purchased my car in 2014.i first dealt with a bad salesman. Something kept telling me to ho back so glad i did to find out the salesman no longer work there. The salesman i have to shout out that inspired me to write this review due to his great courtesy was Omar. He was so nice, easily answered all questions, no hesitation with me test driving, and i was sold. Great transaction and they were so nice and overall ive had maybe 5cars from dealerships.only 2experiences that were so pleasing that i would return and recommend,and Cardinal auto sales is one.i hope Omar is still there because its time for me to get another car.

I contacted them through Cars.com and did not get a reply. I went a step further and contacted them via the contact feature on their website. I didn't even get a courtesy reaponse. Not sure what they do there, but selling cars does not appear to be high on the list.

I had a very pleasant experience with Cardinal Auto Sales. The salesman had no objections to my mechanic checking out the car from top to bottom ( I brought him with me) and when he found an issue with the car during left turns they fixed it before I took possession of the car. We test drove it with the mechanic quite a while. The only things I wished were different is I was hoping/expecting the price to be negotiable if even jut a few hundred dollars but it was not. The other is that the car was all cleaned and ready to go when I picked it up however there was no gas in it and the light was lit. Me being a female driving home in the rain in the dark in an unfamiliar place it was a little unnerving for a minute but I did find a gas station up the road. I am sure it was just an oversight I know very little gas is kept in these cars to prevent theft but even $3 worth put in before pick up would have avoided that. That being said I am sure it was an oversight and I am sure after reading this review it will be addressed and not repeated. My overall experience was great and I would highly recommend this dealer to my family and friends

Spent three days working with dealership to buy a car for my son. On the second day left a deposit on a car with the agreement to buy the car after my mechanic looked it over. Traveled down on the third day to pick it up and take it to the mechanic and the car was sold. Unethical and fraudulent behavior. Would think twice before dealing with them.

I was looking for a BMW X3 in a particular color and with certain desired features. Cardinal Auto Sales had it had it at a very reasonable price. I live in Pittsburgh, PA and this dealer is located in Raleigh, NC, so I had quite a distance to drive. I was a little worried the car wouldn't be as pictures or there would be some issue that I wasn't aware of before making the trip, but everything was great with the vehicle! I got there as they opened in the morning and the salesman was expecting me and pleasantly welcomed me. I let him copy my license as I looked at the vehicle and he gave me the keys and said to take it for an extensive test drive. I was a little surprised that he let me test drive it by myself but I was glad so I could drive it exactly as I would if it was mine. They never pressured me to buy and steered my wrong. The salesman also told me they had some new replacement hoses and brake pads lying in box after I got back from the test drive and they were going to put them on that day but I came before they could install. The salesman told me to hang out while they install the parts free of charge. I went down the street to eat at the Denny's while they put these parts on. All in all it only took them about an hour to install the parts. I was very glad and surprised they went the extra mile to get these parts on. They just as easily could have given me the parts to install myself or not mentioned it at all and returned them to where they purchased them from. This is an extremely honest and friendly dealer. The car was recently serviced with brand new tires, alignment, etc. It literally hasn't needed anything since I've purchased it. I've had the car for about 3 months with absolutely no issues! Over a year ago, we bought a 2004 Toyota Sequoia from Cardinal. I wrote a review then: great car, great price and great customer service. That all still holds true. At the time, the driver's seat belt worked but had an electronic fault. We asked Cardinal to replace it. They agreed, ordered the part and said we could stop by anytime and they would install it. We never stopped by and we never called them. Yesterday, via priority mail, Cardinal mailed the replacement part to us. If I rated their customer service as great before, I amend that to excellent! Thank You.

I have everything wonderful to say and absolutely nothing bad. This has to be the very best car buying experience i have ever had in my years of purchasing cars. Daniel Lewis is the ultimate. He was very helpful, understanding, knowledgeable, and above all, he was not the type to try and shove me into something i didn't want or push me in a different direction. The entire experience has left me with an entirely different view on how car dealerships and the people that run them can be. Daniel was very kind and very patient with my many, many questions and my very bored and very tired 2 year old. He treated my husband and I with the utmost respect and didn't give us that "I know what you want or need better than you do, so just trust me and go with it" attitude that we have come across at a great many places. I can't explain enough how awesome the service was at Cardinal Auto Sales! I bought a 2008 nissan altima coupe maybe seven months ago. The car runs perfectly but the AC was not working.I had no clue that it didn't work until we began to have those really hot days. I called and spoke with Daniel, he ordered the part I needed for the AC to work properly and had one of the on premise mechanics to fix the problem. Now, the AC is working and I can relax just fine in my nissan altima coupe! I've recently bought a mazda 5 there. There was some issue with a car, but nothing serious, and they fixed it without any problem. The person who we have a deal with was very nice and polite, his name George. And all other workers were very friendly. I'd definitely recommend this place to my friends.

Went to Cardinal auto to see a 2008 black Jeep Liberty, it was rainy and the windshield wipers broke so they promptly we're going to fix them and we looked around on the lot while they fixed the problem, so we could test drive the vehicle. While looking around we found the 2009 Jeep Liberty and loved this one as well! So we test drove both, was not pressured to buy, was allowed to take car as long as we needed, on the highway and all. Salesmen was very helpful, I believe his name was Daniel. Ended up buying the 2009 model. Tire pressure light was on and currently getting fixed at a Firestone down the road, free of charge to myself. Would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a used vehicle!

Cardinal Auto Sales has an awesome selection of high quality vehicles. I bought my Toyota Solara from them almost 9 months ago. My car has been running smoothly with no function problems. I was very pleased with their service! Their sales manager Rob Oppenheimer was not only very helpful upon my purchase but also afterwards; he has made me feel comfortable with asking him general questions I had regarding my car or special requests. For example today, I needed my keyless entry device recovered from a hole inside my car. Without hesitation, Rob told me to come in so he can take a look at it. He and another gentleman took care of it right away with no problem! I highly recommend this dealership if you are on the market for a mint condition car with superb service!

I was shopping for a used Honda and found a great deal at Cardinal after looking around for months. When I had got there, the price that I originally saw online had been raised about $500 more. When I mentioned that I had seen the rate on cars.com for a lower rate, they honored it anyway. Also, after about 1 week of having the car, my friend opened the door (from the inside) and pulled the handle too hard causing the latch to snap that opens the car from the inside out. I brought my Honda back to let them know (keep in mind there was NO warranty on this car) and they gladly fixed that at no charge, put in new light bulbs for my reading/map lights because they were dim and looked at the undercarriage of my car because I had a question about some noise rattle which happened to be nothing but a loose bolt on the exhaust which they will be fixing when I return (didn't have enough time before work to stay and have it done). I am very pleased with this dealership and their customer service, mechanic service and all around great car dealer ethics. I highly recommend this dealer to anyone looking for a used car with low miles and a great price!!! Also, if you refer a friend and they purchase a vehicle, you get $100. Thanks Cardinal Auto Sales!!!

Recently, we bought a Toyota Sequoia from Cardinal Auto sales. We are very pleased with the car and with the professional courteous and no haggle business practices that they offer. During the first scouting visit, my daughter mentioned that the car she was driving (my car) had needed a jump earlier and that she was going to leave it running to charge the battery while she looked at their cars. John, the service tech, overheard this and insisted that she allow him to check the battery. He then assessed the situation and informed her that my battery was 6 years old and needed to be replaced. Let me clarify: this was done prior to my daughter even looking at their inventory and this was done on my own vehicle, one that was not up for trade. He then charged it for her. Back to the Sequoia: the price was by far the best around. Prior to buying it, our mechanic gave it the thumbs up and we discovered that it had had all the required expensive maintenance. Bill Linkous gave us a fair offer on our trade in and stayed late to complete the paperwork. We had asked for an oil change and , the next morning, we brought the car back and they completed the oil change, putting a "rush" on it. Thank you to Bill and John.

My husband and I purchased a vehicle from this place at the end of March. The process of buying the car took all day, and even when we did purchase it we had to wait 2 days to pick it up. At first they said they would meet us halfway with the car because we live 2 and a half hours from the dealership, but called us the next day and said we'd have to pick it up. We finally picked it up and I thought the ordeal was over. About 2 months later the car started misfiring and we found out that some wires were bad on the engine. We spent 100 dollars to fix that problem and thought all was well. 2 months after that, now in July the car wouldn't start and we had to get it towed to the shop. Turns out there is a problem with the engine that caused to catalytic converter to go out. This new expense is going to cost us upwards of a grand to fix. This place is worthless, the salesmen are deceivers, and they are selling junk. Run far away from this place.

This was easily the best car buying experience I've ever had - Bill, the sales manager, made the whole process really straightforward and simple. There was no rush and no pressure in buying anything. I bought a Nissan Frontier that was listed on cargurus.com as an automatic, but I was disappointed when I found out it was a manual transmission. The problem wasn't that I didn't want a manual; I actually would drive one, but I wasn't really confident in using a stick shift. However, Bill took the time to show me the truck and even gave me a quick driving lesson so I could be confident enough to drive it! He went out of the way to understand my situation and go the extra mile to make me confident in the truck itself. He was patient to the nth degree, and explained the whole process really clearly to me, even when we got to the more tedious paperwork. Would definitely go here again!

I stopped by after searching for a used truck, was my last stop of the day, wish it was my first, would have saved some time. I test drove the truck on a very raining day, and did not roll down the Windows. After we payed for it, signed for it, as is. Started down the road and put down the Windows I noticed a very alarming sound called Bill asap. He said bring it back, it's now Monday and Bill took me to a shop to get it fixed. I am very happy with everything. This place goes well beyond the call of duty. Customer service was amazing! I would reccomend cardinal auto sales to everyone. I am a very happy customer!!!!! Dishonest business. I bought a truck with 74,000 miles and it was advertised as in good working condition with no known issues. 900 miles later, the piston rings were fried and the engine needed replacing. These guys offered no assistance and told me (and I quote) "If you buy a truck from us, drive it down the road, and the motor breaks in two halves, you own both halves and it's your problem. Sorry, it's business." Do not buy from unless you don't mind doing business with money-crazed jerks. This place is chock full of customer-borne risks.

Once I found my Honda and bought it, on the way home the check engine light came on. Then, I saw steam but it did not run hot on the temperature gauge. I knew I bought the car "as is" with no warranty, but I gave Bill a call. He told me to bring it back and they would check it out to see if they could determine what the problem was. It was a cracked radiator with a small enough crack to make the check engine light come on, but not a big enough crack to lose ALL the water and make the engine run hot. When I first heard that, my heart dropped. However, they reset all the sensors and replaced the radiator, just to make sure "I was a happy camper". I was very pleased by the level of customer service and the overall buying experience. It is not a big flashy dealership, but a "down home" type of place which I prefer. Bill was an excellent salesman and offered me other options to consider, but no high pressure sales. He get me into the car I wanted and I am indeed a VERY happy camper.

I was looking for a truck for my son and stopped by Cardinal Auto sales and meant the salesman Daniel. I told him what I was looking for and he showed me the best truck on the lot. I felt no pressure talking with Daniel when telling him what I was looking for. He showed me a 2002 Ford XLT 4x4 and when I looked it over and test drove it I knew this was the truck. He made me feel like he would put his own son in this truck as he did repeat that to me. After bringing to my mechanic, I bought the truck and very happy with it. Everything I asked Daniel to do to the truck he did and was a man to his word!! Very happy with the service and dealership!! If you are looking for a car or truck stop by and ask for Daniel you won't be let down!! I recommend 100%.

Best car buying experience I've had any a very long time. They have many beautiful cars to choose from, with various price ranges, that can fit anybody's budget. Finally found a dealer that was not out to get you. We had been looking at cars and trucks for awhile now. Most dealers we met with, were looking to get a "homerun" sale on us. When I spoke to Bill at Cardinal auto sales he explained all the cars were marked with a price. They were interested in selling a lot of cars to make money, not just one car that was overpriced. For a consumer that was what I wanted to hear. We were not pushed into to anything. Bill(our salesman) was interested in helping us find what worked for us. By not being pushy is what kept us around. After we test drove the car we were aloud to take it to a mechanic. The mechanic assessment line up with what they had told me about the car. The car was mechanically sound. This created confidence in their word. Upon returning to dealership with car another salesman(Bobby) asked how it went. He was very helpful in explaining what the mechanic had told me. He also offered options to better the vehicle. This guy wasn't even my salesman. Good people. We were extremely pleased with the service and the vehicle we got. I would recommend Bill and his crew to anyone looking for an honest opinion. Great job Cardinal Sales!

My daughter found the car on line, a 2009 BMW 328, she went to the Cardinal Auto sales lot to take a closer look. My daughter says this is the car she wants so I go with her to the dealership. The manager, Bill was very helpful and very professional. I test drove the car and noticed the brake light was on. Mr. Bill said he would have the car checked out to take care of the problem. When I return to pick up the car Mr. Bill had turned the rotors, replaced the brake pads and brake sensors. I was very happy to see the repairs had been done and feel much better that my daughter is driving in a safe car. I feel good about the people at Cardinal Auto.

I had been looking for a good clean affordable truck for a while. I visited Cardinal Auto Sales and found the most bang for my buck! Bill was very helpful and patient with me and never once pressured me into the sale, even when I told him I wanted to think about it for a few days. Talk about no pressure salesman Daniel lewis is ur man. Being from Ohio was looking for a clean rust-free Jeep. Found what i was looking for talked to Daniel on phone told him what i was looking for he answered all my questions with-out hesitation. I was Leary driving over 500 miles to purchase a vehicle, but Daniel honestly answered so i rented a car drove down to find the 98 jeep grand Cherokee not only rust-free but in relatively. Great running condition. Brought the jeep drove it all thay back to OHIO was with no issues in fact it actually got 19 miles to the gallon at 75 mph. Awesome find well satisfied. Thanks Daniel

We checked Craig's List and several dealers websites for a reasonable first car for my 16 years son. Requirments were; limited budget, reputable car make, not very high mileage, good mechanical condition. Bill and Hassan showed us several cars at the dealership place. They, professionally and honestly, explained to us the pros and cons of each car make, reputation, and the mechanical conditions of the car. We ended up with a nice 2007 Huyndai Sonata that we liked its appearance, roomy inside, and mechanical status. Rob was professional in completing the paper work. We were looking for a used car for my fifteen-year-old daughter. They helped us decide on the car that would meet our daughter's specifications, reliable and in good condition, and still falls within our price range. Robert was highly efficient with the paperwork and explained all the details very clearly. We have had the car checked by our mechanic who found it in a very good condition for the price. He also said that the low mileage on the car, while it is in such a good condition makes it a great find. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and they made sure that the car was perfectly cleaned inside and out before we left. The staff made it a memorable experience for our daughter and we are all grateful for that. We definitely would go back if we need another car and would recommend Cardinal Auto Sales to friends and family members.

For my first car, I bought a used 2006 Kia Rio with 100K miles for around $5,250, an excellent deal for such a great car. Both the exterior and interior were in great condition, and the car drives really well. Customer on service was unbeatable, and Bill, the salesperson, was friendly, cooperative, and helpful. Nolan A. did a wonderful job helping us find a used car in our price range with no problem. The truck was in wonderful condition for the year and price. The passenger headrest was missing, but they offered to order us a new one and install it. The truck had about 141k miles on it, but was driving like 50k. Great quality vehicles for the right price!

I talked on phone several times about one vehicle. He assured me it was running fine, ready to go, a good buy and he would have it ready (replace one broken light bulb and clean completely). He knew I was driving 200 miles each way to buy this vehicle. He did nothing. light bulb not repaired, interior door panel ready to fall off, wheels covered in dirt as the vehicle appeared to have been pulled out of a ditch. Filth on the interior floor. Missing radio, repair parts still laying inside the vehicle. He totally misrepresented the vehicle knowing the distance I would travel. Friday morning I told him that I'd show up on Monday (to give him time to get everything ready) and he insisted that I get there on Friday "...so no one else could buy it". Unprofessional, unprofessional!

My son saved his money for 3 years to buy his first car and he found one he LOVED on line from here. The person selling the car didn't know what he was doing..he had to leave the office 3 times to get help then he assured us everything was fine and gave us a temp plate. About three days before the plate expired we still hadn't heard anything and we called and a man told us it was in the mail...so we waited a few more days and nothing! Then my husband called and all the sudden we got action...they DIDNT mail the plates...they hadn't even gotten that done yet! Its okay to lie to a woman and a teenager here... A few weeks later they sent us the WRONG title...and a few weeks after that the car died! All that saving and all his money GONE!!!!! I don't reccommend this place to anyone! Your first car is supposed to be a good experience but this was just a nightmare! Shame on you Cardinal Auto sales!

WE have gone there 2 times, the pictures online made us believe the vehicle looked nice. Both times when we went to look at the vehicle it was horrible looking on the outside!! Both times no one came to speak to us, and we called the first time to make sure they were still open and to let them know we were 5 mins out, and still no one bothered to come and speak with us when we got there. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!

We were looking for a low-priced and good-quality vehicle for our daughter. It's really hard to find a dealer who'll handle lower-priced cars. We found what we were looking for--an Acura with low miles for its age. The experience was easy. The place is no pressure. There was a mechanical issue (fixable) with the doors and they dropped the price to cover the repair. It was very fair, and we were pleased. This lot also has newer vehicles that were very nice, so it's good for that, too. A wide range of cars. Very happy with our experience.
