I took my mom to Cain to get a slightly used car. Sam was our salesman. He was so patient with my mom and answered all of our questions. He spent a lot of time with us. I would highly recommend him and the dealer.
Polite, courteous, professional and efficient
The salesman Mike Bann was polite and did not intrude upon us as we were reviewing the vehicles, but he was always at hand if we had any questions about a specific vehicle. He then was courteous enough to back off a reasonable distance so we could discuss the car in private, which means we had fun picking out the car that we ended up getting that and that is unusual. We told Mike that we would go home and discuss the purchase and call the next day. He gave us his card and said thank you for visiting the dealership and look forward to hearing from us. Instead of calling we went back and discussed the price which was very professionally presented even by the finance department, they excepted our offer for the vehicle we filled out the appropriate papers and drove the car home. So in summary it was a very good experience all around.
My wife's MINI
By far my best experience with a car dealer at age 60! I've had many opportunities to deal with car dealers in the past with mixed results. This experience with Paul Sauvain was excellent! We were looking for a convertible for my wife and Paul showed us a Mercedes and this Mini. My wife fell in love with the Mini and Paul was SUPER about the lesser sale, making us feel just as important as the people looking to spend much much more. Everything was handled smoothly and behind the scenes so that our buying experience was great. When we came to pick up the car, while we spoke to Greg in Financing, the plates were switched, the Mini was washed, fueled up and running out front when we walked out the door. Paul then spent a long time with my wife showing her how to operate things so she felt comfortable driving away...with a huge smile! Great job by all. I WILL be back!

Great sales help
I could of not of had a more awesome salesman. She definitely did not fit the "normal" salesman stereotype. Well at least not mine. She was prompt, worked with me to get exactly what I wanted with no question or any pushy tactics. She knew my price range and fit me in a car that was perfect for me and I love it!!! My wife and I had several discussions with Theresa Hessert on the pros and cons of buying or leasing. After many internet and in person chats, we decided to lease. 2016 Toyota Highlander
I had been looking for a new car and was trading in a 2008 SUV with low miles and in excellent condition. Every dealership I went to tried to low ball me on my trade. Overall Buying Experience
Robert Rowan did an excellent job with his product knowledge and professional manners. Robert listened what I was asking for and helped educate me on the products of Toyota. He did not try to sell be any more, or less, of a vehicle than my needs required. The perfect fit of vehicle to meet my requirements were met for the very first time in my vehicle buying experiences. Negotiations were fair and without pressure. Fair an informative comparisons were made of other brands to help in my decision making process. The finance department did their job with excellent explanation of all paperwork and forms. They did not lose sight that their customers do not go through this process as frequently as they do. This was a transaction that went smooth from my first email and online negotiation until we drove over an hour to our face to face meeting. I was impressed that Jason Pettigrew was well versed in our chosen vehicle and spent time with us after our purchase explaining the various features and programming. Very easy car buying experience
We purchased our 7th Toyota from Cain Toyota last night. It was quick and easy with no pressure from our amazing salesperson Theresa Hessert. The car I was interested in was ready for a test drive when I arrived. We agreed on a very fair price for the car and we were on our way home with a brand new Camry. Ben Barbato was great in the finance department! Signing the paperwork was a breeze! The total transaction from test drive to receiving the keys to my new car was 2 hours! We will definitely buy our next car from Theresa at Cain Toyota!
Blessed Beyond Words
A couple weeks ago our vehicle was totaled and I checked a few different dealerships to ease the pain on my wife looking for a vehicle to replace the one we had. I arrived at Cain Toyota after a few poor experiences at other dealerships and spotted an amazing minivan. I told my wife all about it so she checked it out the next day and scheduled a test drive for the next day with Mike. Before test driving the van I wanted to be upfront and honest that we didn't have the return from the insurance company yet. We absolutely loved the minivan and it was incredible to work with Mike. He was so understanding and willing to work with us. I left in awe of God's mercy because my prayers had been answered. Cain Toyota and Mike Bann were such a blessing to my family and I.Working with Tony in the Finance office was a great experience as well. Both of these men went above and beyond my expectations!!!!

I went in to this dealship intending to buy one new (gently used) car. I chose 2 different vehicles, and wanted to come back with my husband to determine which car to buy. I had a great experience with salesman Mike Bann and Tony Neman on 03/14/16. The only complaint I have was dealing with the Toyota bank for the lease. Otherwise, everything was awesome and I will tell everyone to go visit Cain Toyota and Mr. Bann.

VERY PLEASANT CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE
We purchased a used Toyota Sienna and have no remorse. Sam Warther worked well on our behalf to negotiate a fair price on a quality vehicle. He is very well educated on vehicle features and is helpful in finding what you want within your budget. Cain definitely prides themselves with quality used vehicles. Their prices are not the lowest online, however their used vehicles are in top shape. You get what you pay for! This is our second purchase from Cain Toyota and most likely not the last. I used to hate car shopping. Its nice to find good people.
Upon initial contact, my sales rep was polite, friendly, and helpful. When I visited later in the afternoon/evening (approx 5pm) with my husband, we walked into dealership and immediately were told the Sign and Drive promotion was on the LE models only, not XLE as I was told earlier. We were okay with that. Sales rep then said if we wanted the XLE, we would need to put $2000 down, prior to running our credit. He then continued suggesting the LE, despite our desires for the XLE. My husband asked rep if there was a model between the LE and XLE, rep advised there was not a model in between the two. While completing our credit app, dealer drove my car around for trade in valuation. When pulling our credit, we went outside to look at XLE models. Rep came out and said credit was about where we assumed it would be, they had to wait until morning to contact Toyota to see what credit tier we fell in. He never disclosed what the exact credit came back as (previous experience with other dealerships, they always show the numbers they received back). We also were not told about how much they valued my car at. By 2pm the next day, I hadnt heard from my sales rep so returned a call from Don Joseph Toyota. I walked into Don Joseph at 5pm. We discussed options. I learned the actually WAS an in between model available, my sales rep at Cain chose not to discuss it. I drove away with a new XLE PREMIUM model at 7:30pm. My husband and I feel the sales rep was unprofessional, credit should have never been ran if there was little or no intention on making a sale, and leaving someone hanging around, waiting for a call that never happened, is wrong and bad business. They could have simply stated while at dealership that there was nothing they were willing to do for us. Honesty is always better than "smoke and mirrors".

Excellent Car Buying Assistance
Sam Warther was very respectful and helpful throughout the research and purchasing process. He was patient and understanding in helping me determine which vehicle best suited my needs. I compared his vehicles with those at other dealerships and visited several. He took the time to get to know me and introduced me to Peter Eaglowski. They were honest with me about how their vehicles and sales compared with those of other dealerships and even helped me research the history of some of the other dealerships' vehicles. I came back several times and Sam patiently helped me each time. Sam and Peter both ensured that I found a high-quality vehicle that was affordable and made the buying process a breeze. They had the paperwork ready for me when I arrived and fully loaded my vehicle with the available accessories, had it washed, and refueled.

2016 Toyota Camry
Theresa Hessert was the sales person who helped me buy a new 2016 Toyota Camry. She was very helpful with the details and took care of everything. This is our 3rd new Toyota from Cain in the last 17 years.

Cain Toyota gave me a decent deal on a 2015 Prius in late December (Toyota was giving incentives to get the 2015 Prius out of stock so that they could start selling 2016 Prius). The price of the new 2015 Prius came close to matching the Consumer Reports pricing for the vehicle, after the incentive, and I got a decent deal on my trade-in (2010 Prius with 192,500 miles). per Kelly Blue Book and NADA pricing. The dealership did well on this deal, too, due to the incentive. Win-Win situation; I got a car that I like at a decent, but not great deal, and they got a car off the lot.
Trading in and buying 2 vehicles
We had a top of the line GMC Yukon Denali, 2014, with all the amenities and totally paid for. We wanted a Rav4 and a Tacoma truck. We spent several hours with our salesman and drove out of there with exactly what we were looking for. Everyone we worked with at the dealership was polite, helpful and a pleasure to work with. This dealership is excellent in my book!!
What's Not to Like?
I've purchased three vehicles, all Highlanders, from Cain Toyota, all with Robert Rowan as my sales person. He's my "go to" guy! When I anticipated that my 2006, which had been involved in an accident, would be declared totaled rather than repairable by the insurance company, I contacted Robert and we discussed a replacement: the model of Highlander I wanted and the options to include. Robert kept me informed of the search's progress and when I received the settlement from the insurance company, Robert and the Cain team had the new Highlander on the lot and ready for pick up within three days. Maintenance on the vehicles through the years has been provided by Cain and only routine service has been requested or necessary. Informed sales and service staff, a comfortable waiting area during maintenance visits, friendly people all around. What's not to like?
Theresa made my search so enjoyable. She is very knowledgeable and answered all questions and explained everything in detail. I am so glad to have met her and very happy with my choice. I will definitely recommend her and Cain Toyota to family and friends.

I purchased the car based on her excellent customer service. She went above and beyond. She also informed me that I could call her or come back to the dealership if I had any questions. Tried to buy a 2015 Corolla S Premium here in WV and they changed the price on me after we already made a deal so we turned them down after they refused to make it right after their mistake. After we got home we did some research and nobody in WV had a 2016 model with the color and package that we were looking for so I searched the Akron area and Cain Toyota had the exact car that we were looking for on their showroom floor. I emailed Jason Pettigrew a question about the price and he made us a deal that couldn't be refused. The whole experience was smooth and pleasant. This is a great dealership who truly cares about their customers. I highly recommend going to Cain Toyota if you're in search of a new car. We were on the hunt for a 2015 silver/grey Toyota tacoma and after extensive searching ....Mike Bann at ..Cain Toyota was able to locate the only one left in 12 states. We previously owned 2 Nissan Frontier trucks and now own a Nissan Maxima. Once we test drove the tacoma.....there was no comparison. The interior was far superior to the new Frontier and it's ride was so much more smooth on the bumpy road than the Frontier. When we arrived to pick up the truck we purchased unseen at Cain Toyota.....it was spit shined to the max and displayed beautifully. Used Cars Purchase
We found the people to be good to work with, and the process fairly easy. No pressure, willing to intelligently respond to questions about the car, the car buying process, financing, etc. A folder with the carfax report sitting right in the car to review. Let me walk off the lot, to think it over, without being too pushy about trying to "close the deal". We felt so good about the experience and the deal - we ended up coming back the same day to buy the car.

Salesman Bann was courteous and very pleasant. I had searched the Cain Toyota web site and found several cars that suited my needs and they were on the lot. This is the 4th vehicle we have purchased from Cain Toyota because we love the brand and because the folks at Cain have always treated us great. There was a problem with my trade-in title that seemed insurmountable to me, but the three fellows mentioned in the Title of my review made some phone calls and solved the problem in just three days. I saw online that Cain Toyota had a used Subaru that really caught my attention. Mike never once tried to talk me out of that car. It seemed that he was as happy to sell me the Subaru Forester as any other car on the lot. And the clean-up guy did a fantastic job of detailing the car for me, including cleaning the headliner of some unsightly stains. I felt respected (the guys listened to my wishes and spoke to me just as they would speak to anyone else [read "man"]) and I appreciate that a lot.

I was very disappointed
I was very disappointed with the condescending manner of your salesman Mike Bann. I have told friends and family, this is not a place I would ever do business with. I did have excellent service at Germain of Columbus, where we bought our new Tacoma for a better deal.

We were met by Sam, who worked hard to help us. It took a week to get to a final decision, and Sam checking in regularly to see if there was any way he could help us. The used Elantra that we ultimately decided on was in excellent condition.

My day started out with a phone call to Cain Toyota. The person who answered the call was Mike Bann and from there on it went well. Made a few inquiries and decided to meet with Mike. Ended up buying a 2013 Corolla but most of all enjoyed dealing with Mike; he is very personable and also made a few jokes. Everyone at Cain was polite and very helpful with anything that was needed. Poor customer service
Mike and Jim were not helpful and did not seem to appreciate that I was a returning customer. I would never return to Cain if it weren't for Theresa's assistance. She redeemed the dealership and treated me the way a customer should be treated. I recommend not doing business with Cain unless you can work with Theresa.

The salesmen at this dealership were not helpful and did not seem to care that we had purchased several cars from Cain before. We were obviously not a priority and Cain doesn't appear to want our business in the future. Toyota should insist that the Cain employees be trained in customer service.

A Pleasant Experience
Earlier this week, I found myself needing to buy a new car quickly. Mike Bann worked with me over the course of that morning, assisting but never pressuring. We arrived at a price within the window I had calculated, though I had not divulged it to Mike, and I drove my new Prius home that afternoon. As an English teacher, I usually make jokes about inflated titles, such as "sales consultant," but in Mike's case, in the context of my experience, the title is justified. This was the most pleasant car-buying experience I have had: Mike worked with me from facts and delivered exactly what was promised.
RUDE: No to Cain / Yes to Marhofer
Horrible Experience. My sales rep Jonathan Porter who claims he has been selling cars for a year knew nothing of selling cars. Did not even know what other common cars even looked like (GMC Acadia) (Saturn Outlook). He cursed the entire time I was with him (Unprofessional). He actually argued with me about the price I would be paying for the mini van I was looking at. He claimed I was only paying 27,000 for the van when the actual cost was 30,000. His claim was based on the fact that I was trading in a car that they were going to give me 3,000 trade in on so he felt I was only paying 27,000. I had to explain that the cost of the van was and is still 30,000 regardless of how I was paying for it. The manager who stayed seated behind his glass window was of no help either. Very rude and also unprofessional. At one point I walked into his open office to hand him and my sales rep some paperwork which they requested to see and the manager never even acknowledged that I walked in, let alone ever introduced himself. A simple Hi, Im (Mr. Whomever)......"Let me look over this and discuss some stuff with your sales rep and we'll be right with you" would have gone a long way. Over 2 hours in the sales lobby back and for with the sales rep and "The Man Behind The Glass" and never spoke or acted like I was standing right outside his office. Not the guy I want to deal with if there is ever a problem with my car. Went down the street and bought the exact same car the same night with more options (Nav and DVD) for less money and got more for my trade (Marhofer Dealership). That was my second purchase at Marhofer and I WILL go back in the future, tired of the back and forth games of car buying. They don't negotiate, the price on the window is the price and they don't hold cars on their lot for over 2 weeks. The van at Cain had been sitting on their lot since November (8 months) and they still wouldn't work with me to match the price of the other dealership a few blocks down even though I liked the color of the van at Cain better. Overall I'm glad I left and went down the street....they even watched my kids for my wife and I while we shopped and stayed 3 hours after closing to finish the deal....awesome at Marhofer. Was kindly greeted and spoken to from everyone there including the manager. He even came out of his office to speak with me and helped complete the sale like a good manager should. Will not return to Cain. Jon needs training and "The Man Behind The Glass" whom I looked up to see who he was (Peter Eaglowski) needs let go or demoted. Jim Yost made purchasing my Camry easy. He knew I wanted a car, went and found a nice one, and drove it to my house so I could look at it. Since then he has looked for a car for my wife and has driven several home so we could look at them. My wife is still looking (nothing wrong with the cars) but I'm sure she will get one from Jim.

Our salesman, Joe Draper made buying our new Toyota Sienna an easy decision. He was extremely knowledgable of all the features in the vehicle. Every button and every setting on the main touchscreen/nav was explained effortlessly. Most of the time buying a car is like taking a beating. It was very different this time. Chris listened to how we wanted to be treated and what we needed. We drove a couple cars that we thought matched our needs. Normally, I despise the car buying process, and our experience with Cain Toyota changed our perspective as I just bought my third car from them. After doing some research on the Toyota Rav 4 and the Toyota Camry. My husband and I decided to go test drive one of them to see if they would be of interest to us. After a couple of minutes being there the Salesman Sam approached us and asked how he could assist us. He went into great detail about the Rav 4 told us all the features it had to offer. We went on a test drive. Sam was very helpful in answering all our questions and took his time with us without trying to pressure us he made sure we knew all of our options as far as buying new verses used. Long story short we purchase a new Rav 4. I couldn't have been happier with Sam and all the people I encountered at the dealership. Peter is simply the best!
We have purchased four cars from Peter. We bought many cars over the years, but we never found a salesperson or dealership that we consistently purchased cars. I really dreaded buying a car because of high pressure salespeople and often unhappy with the service we would receive from a dealership. In short, we were pretty jaded about the entire experience. Our first car we purchased from Peter was a Camry in 2005 and we were amazed by how Peter was so low key and did not try to pressure us in any manner. When we had an issue with the car Cain/Toyota would take care of the problem in a timely manner. I could cite numerous examples of how Peter has helped us out over the years and what a fantastic experience it is to purchase a car from him. New car purchase
After visiting another Toyota dealer we stopped in at Cain Toyota. We were greeted promptly and given I mediated attention even thought they were about to close for the day. Sam took his time and we never felt rushed. We were not prepared to purchase that day but after talking with Sam we were pretty sure we found the dealer we wanted to deal with..Sam was very knowledgeable but we never felt pushed. After a couple of days of deciding exactly what we were looking for we returned and purchased our 4th Camry.

When I picked up my car, he went with me to return my rental car...I have put 20,000+ miles on my Corolla. Cain will be my first choice when I need another vehicle.

Overall, we had a very good experience. Chris McNamara was our sales associate, he did a very nice job for us. What Chris lacked in experience (he has only been in sales for a few months), he made up in great customer service. He promptly returned e-mails and calls and really took good care of us. Based upon my research I felt the price was fair so I came in to look at the car. Ken was very nice and friendly to me during our talk and discussion about the car. I decided to buy based upon the price I was quoted in the e-mail and I signed all the documentation. After leaving the dealership I was happy with the car but I had a concern with the paperwork. I did a review on here and Ken called me right away to address my concern. We talked for a few minutes to make sure he knew exactly what I was after. We set up a time for me to come in and check out some of the trucks he had on the lot to make sure that was what I was after. Upon finishing the test drive of a similar Tacoma, Sam immediately tracked down the exact truck I was after. He did an outstanding job and I love my new Tacoma. I am in my 60's and have bought many cars over the years. I have to say without a doubt, I have never been treated as good as my wife and I were treated at Cain Toyota. From the moment we walked in till we left that evening with our new Rav4, our sales person, Amy Kovein and finance Mgr. Ben Barbato were very friendly, answering all our questions and addressing any concerns that we had. Customer service was out standing, to the point that when we were ready to sign the papers, I saw another Rav4 in the showroom that I hadn't seen before. I asked if we could change and get the other car, Both Amy and Ben said that would not be a problem, they would redo all the paperwork. At that point our first choice had already been serviced for delivery. We ultimately stayed with our first choice. The people at Cain Toyota when out of their way to make sure that we were happy!After the sale Amy spent at lot of time with my wife and I helping us set the Bluetooth on our radio.I have bought cars from a relative at a local dealership, and was not treated as well as we were treated at Cains.I would recommend Cain Toyota, in fact we already have.

Jason tried to rip me off by trying to sell me a used 2010 Toyota Corolla LE with 24K miles for $15780. The original INVOICE on this vehicle was around $15400. He called me first and asked me how much I could do for a down payment. I said I could do $3000 but that I would need an out of the door price before we talk about payments. He said fine and then came back with a figure of $12780 OUT THE DOOR. I spent half a day in conversations over email about financing. They got me 1.9% financing. I then told him that was great because with a down payment of $3000, that would bring my payments down to $178 per month. He then responded by saying that the 12780 was EXCLUDING the down payment of 3000. Are you kidding me??? "Out the door price" means exactly that: the TOTAL amount that you pay for the car out the door. Not the amount AFTER a down payment, not an amount AFTER donation to the dealer's Himalayan adventure fund, its the TOTAL AMOUNT OUT THE DOOR. So they basically insulted my intelligence trying to sell me a 2 year old car with 24K miles on it for far greater than what they originally paid for a new vehicle in 2010. Whether or not the part about "out the door" was a genuine misunderstanding like he claimed, in my book, trying to sell a used 2 year old car for more than what the dealer had to pay for a new one in 2010 is just unethical. For this reason, I would absolutely recommend people to stay away.
