When I purchased my vehicle at Budd Baer last year, the vehicle had a Carfax rating. But the tire tread was way less than the Carfax condition. So in return I would be owned new tires at cost when needed at Budd Baer. I purchased 4 new tires supposedly at cost at my last scheduled service. Well I think I've been taken advantage of being I paid just less than 10 dollars retail. And I'm seeing on several websites the same tire at retail is as much as 28 dollars less at Budd Baer retail. I'm hoping my four 265-70r-17 tires purchase can be corrected for me to be a satisfied customer. If not. I will return the tires and purchase them locally and cheaper. Hoping to be a satisfied customer Tony

A no pressure, friendly atmosphere for the car buying experience. The service department is excellent. We have only bought two new Buicks at Bud Baer (our previous dealership at which we bought at least six cars went out of business) but would recommend the dealership to friends and family.

This was a different buying experience than what I was used to. I found it more pleasant than any new or used vehicle purchase I have made at other dealerships. I scheduled an appointment, and upon arrival the sales representative knew my name, and what vehicles I was there to see. They were helpful, respectful and did not use high pressure sales tactics. I actually got a better deal than I had prepared for which allowed me to get the new truck I wanted without compromise because of price. I have told friends and family of my experience at Budd Baer and recommend they consider them when purchasing a new vehicle.

Salesman Carlo was efficient , courteous and was able to assist me in the purchase of my new vehicle without a hitch. He monitored my mileage, as I lease my car, and alerted me that there was a way I could flip my 2013 ( lots of mileage) to a 2015, new model and save a few dollars in the process.I have worked with him in the past and have been very satisfied.

I just bought my second new Mazda6 from Bill Baburich at Budd Baer. On both occaisions he was kind and treated me with great respect. I get a tour of the facility, a test drive where he highlights the technical and mechanical perks of the car, and good conversation. With both purchases, I received a fair offer on my trade and immediately received a great price on the new car. Bill then allows me the time I request to consider my purchase ... no pressure. After agreeing to the deal, the rest of the staff is wonderful as well. Finally, I look forward to having Helen (their Mazda service advisor) service my new 6 for years to come ... she too is tremendous to deal with. Water pump went bad. Had to have car towed in. Pump was covered under warranty. Budd Baer completed the job in excellent time of only one day. Car had been washed and was ready upon my arrival to pick it up 25 hours later. Budd Baer is probably the best GM dealership in America!!!

During 2013 I purchased two new vehicles from Bud Baer. The first purchase was because of the great deal that I received. The second purchase was because of the great people that I have dealt with (Bob in Sales, and Bernie in Service) at Bud Baer. Because of one of the service managers (Chris) being on vacation, I had the opportunity to discuss my concerns with Bernie. I find him to be very knowledgeable, sincerely interested in helping, and very much respected by his co-workers. The main purpose of my visit was to address a nagging problem that I have been having with the bedcover (I am sure that it is properly adjusted this time); however I also mentioned an issue with two "squeaks" that surface periodically within the cab. Rather than "scoff" this off, both were investigated - one of which was repaired (the other could not be duplicated and occurs on a very rare occasion). In the forty plus years that I have had in purchasing cars, I have never experienced "working" with someone like Bernie (for the reasons mentioned above). Keep him around and I will keep Bud Baer first in mind for future considerations. I also commend the Bud Baer ownership for staffing people such as Bernie and Bob. ( Come review time for any bonuses, pay increases feel free to contact me in regards to further references for these two individuals :) )

Cindy did a great job and friendly making the appointment. Chris at the service desk is friendly as always. but, I do have 2 issues.1. this is the 3rd time to have an oil change and each time I have to smell oil burning from spilled oil during the oil change. I've returned it in the past but nothing is found but oil laying on the cross member from changing the oil. I'll probably do it my self next time.2. I notice the last 2 times that the Auto Butler was done that there wasn't white spots from the wax on the black plastic bumpers & trim. A good thing. But, it doesn't last as long as before. It seems that you changed the wax that you use by the cleaner job on the trim and the smell is different when I pick it up but, the wax I put on my wife's car and my company car last longer.

This is the first review site I have seen that has had ANYTHING positive to say about Budd Baer. All of them have simliar situations--they purchased a new vehicle here or their vehicle is less than 3 years old. That is key here--NEW. I'm thinking these cars are within warranty and ESPECIALLY if it was purchased here, they are going to try and hold onto those customers. Well guess what--if you have an older vehicle, did not purchase here or if it's older--they WILL try and rip you off. I read on another review that someone purchased a Civic and their engine blew up. I had a family friend who purchased a truck here a few years ago and their engine too did indeed blow up.....it WAS replaced but guess what? It blew up again! Don't get me wrong, the customer service reps that you interact with are very nice people, very pleasant but what goes on behind those closed doors once they have your vehicle is to the unseen eye. This place CANNOT be trusted. Stay AWAY!!!

The service absolutely could not be improved one iota...Amy, the service manager, handled everything and kept me informed of the progress, my needs were completely met, and my Forrester is in top shape. Even my Erie claims adjuster was extremely impressed and knew Amy truly cared to correct the problems for as little cost and as much satisfaction as was porssible, along with timeliness.

Worst buying experience ever! Had the vehicle for 2days and there was a knock in the steering. They replaced the column. I drove the vehicle straight to my house which is only 10 miles away and parked it for the night. Came out the next morning to find that my tire was low due to a bolt and nail puncture. There was no way possible that I picked it up on my way home. Dealer said that it could not be patched and that I would need a new tire $189 but i should replace both over $400 total. I talked to the manager and he said that he would get back to me. Never did! They got my money that is all they cared about. Never the less I took the tire to a professional were they were able to safely repair. Even the shop that did the work said that the service techs and staff at BUDD BAER were not competent. I wish I would have known this before they put in the steering column. I had 70 miles on the vehicle and they wanted to charge me over $400!I put more money down than what I wanted too, leaving me a little tight, but they just want to sell a car and reap the most from the customer. Not willing to work with me at all! The manager could at the least called back. Also they low balled my trade 2010 escape, fully loaded, $15,000.... its for sale now for over $19k if interested in that vehicle I can honestly say it was well maintained and routine serviced by professionals. Not sure what it is like now that it has gone through their shop. Probably picked up a nail.
