I went in and told them what was wrong, they explained what needed to be done to fix the problem and exactly what it would cost. They fixed it the next day within an hour. It was the best service experience I've ever had and I would definitely go back.

The only reason I'd consider changing is that Ford does not make the type of car I'm looking for, a stick-shift station wagon, comparable to what I currently have.

Stop, don't go anywhere else! Brewster Ford is thee dealership to go when purchasing a new or used vehicle. The sales team is unbelievably accommodating, I drove Peter crazy for two weeks but he found the vehicle, color, and price point that fit and that was no easy task, believe me. His perseverance while working with me should be lauded, other dealerships in the area were becoming annoyed and rude but Peter was amazing...upfront, honest, no playing games and even entertaining, but most important he made all my parameters work. Both Neil, the general manager and Elijah the sales manager, also went way beyond anything I've ever seen before, working along with Peter to make it all work out for me. In terms of finalizing the deal, Landon is the guy, he's phenomenal...efficient and organized and makes the financing and delivery process a breeze.They have put together quite the team at Brewster Ford, a family owned dealership that really cares about you and your business...other area dealers should take lessons! I'm not one to write reviews but felt they really earned this one.

Is your plug and play lights you installed not our fault so they won't do crap Problem driver door window switches control board I pay for it 2call. Driver side mirror blinker stays lit 24/7 Dealer says. Is your lights not our problem Problem found. Short in door harness I pay for it 3rd call. Can you check my brakes Dealer. Rear pads need replacing 2mm left $500 I say not yet I go to a better place. They tell me you got 10mm left on all 4. You don't need it Mind you truck is under warranty. But dealer won't do crap about it. Don't give a xxxx about you or your truck UNDERSTAND FORD OF NORTH AMERICA ?????Do something about it NOW Answer back have the decency to reach out to your customers how about it????

I purchased a 75,000 mile maintenance plan with my new Ford Escape a few years back and recently decided to switch to Brewster Ford for service mostly because it is closer to my house and also I only had a few service appointments left. My first attempt it was impossible reaching anybody in the service department on the phone so I scheduled online and they were very nice in person. The only issue is that they didn't attach my undercar shield and it fell off on my way home, when I drove back they said they would take care of it right away because no other customers were there, it took them 45 minutes reattach it which is basically putting in three rubber screws. I complained to service but nobody ever called me back. Even though this worried me, I decided to give them a second chance, this time it was easier reaching someone on the phone and they were nice enough to put my car back together but they tried charging me despite explaining to them that I had a service plan, it took a manager to void the charges and I was on my way. The last visit was the final service on my plan, it was easy making an appointment and they allowed me to pickup my car from the sales area because I couldn't pickup until after the service area closed on the Saturday. Again they tried charging me for service and it took the manager 15 minutes to void these charges. I wasn't very happy but still asked if he could take a look at my car because I was looking to trade it in (now that my service plan was done) the manager politely told me no and instead told me to go to kbb.com, he said use fair condition and that will be the ballpark. I explained my exterior has some dings and would appreciate it if someone could look at it and give me a trade in estimate since my car was 50 feet away, again he directed me to kbb.com. I tried one more time, I told him I was interested in trading in my car and buying a brand new one, he lit up and for a second I thought he was going to get up out of his chair, since he couldn't be bothered to help me without me mentioning a possible sale I just walked out.Later I heard scraping underneath my car and when I looked the undercar shield was hanging off. Again, I drive a Ford Escape and I brought my car to a Ford dealership for service yet they can't seem to figure out how to attach the undercar shield. If they can't figure out how to put my car back together than I am worried what else they did wrong under the hood.

My only experiences with Brewster Ford have been related to my Thunderbird and Lincoln repairs. They have very congenial, knowledgeable, and understanding front desk service representatives, and excellent mechanics. I have never had a single problem with the service department at Brewster Ford and I always know my vehicle will be fixed correctly when I leave or wait for my repairs. They only put Motorcraft or Ford parts on my cars, which is a personal 'must' for me, and I trust their work and competitive repair costs.

In a regular checkup I was told I had a slight leak in a head gasket, that the parts were on hand, the work would take about 2 hours (in addition to the hour I'd waited for oil change, etc.) and cost over $275. I asked to reschedule when a loaner would be available. The Service Advisor said a loaner would cost $35/day. Previously they had been free (other than replacing any gas used). I pointed this out. She said free loaners were only available under warrantee or for expensive repairs. I suggested this was an expensive repair. She said no, it wasn't. She said Ford had changed some policy and that's why Volz no longer offered a free loaner. Being single, the availability of a loaner is an important part of why I choose a dealer. I'm about to buy a new car...now it may not be a Ford.

Went in for 30,000 mile service and asked them to check lug nuts because I got a flat and could not get the lug nuts off with the bar used to get nuts off that comes with the car. I had to get a repair shop come out to get the nuts off. They said the nuts were swelled. As I only ever had them work on my car the swelling would be a result of their work. Charged me $139+ tax for nuts and rescheduling to have nuts replaced for a 30min job. Arrived just before my appointment. They had me wait 1 hr and 45 minutes. Didn't even take truck in for hour and charged me extra labor time. Usually they are good but they have been declining more and more lately. New service manager has not improved service.

I brought my leased explorer to brewster ford for an oil change. When I picked it up they said I need a part, they heard a clicking noise. I never heard anything but said okay since I already pay for any extras to be free in my lease. When I picked up my car it was written that "customer came in complaining of noise," no I didnt... they diagnosed my car for no reason to make money off the service from ford. I will not be going back to brewster ford for any reason. Very annoyed.

After visiting or talking by phone with several dealerships, I found Kevin Panepinto at Brewster Ford by phone. We hit it off immediately. He not only was very personable, helpful and knowledgeable, but he found me the best deal, of the several I had been quoted by other dealers. Since we lived a good distance from their location he made it possible for us to make only one trip to complete the paper work, turn in my old lease car (from another dealer) and drive away happily in my brand new car. He took care of every aspect of the sale from initial contact to personally putting my plates on the new car, syncing my phone to the car and telling us where to find a great place to eat before our long trip home. I purchased a brand new 2016. I have been in for repairs twice in a matter of 2 months for minor things. it is so frustrating to have to constantly drive out of my way to fix a brand new vehicle. Brewster never has loaner cars available. I purchased a car that I hoped would be reliable to get me to and from and wrok and when there aren't loaners how am I supposed to do that? I have to drive to get it diagnosed and then drive back again to drop it off for repair instead of leaving it and coming back to pick it up when it is ready like ever other place operates. What kind of dealership doesn't have loaner cars available? When I went to pick up my vehicle after the first repair, no one retrieved my vehicle or showed me where it was. I had to wander around the dark lot in the rain and activate the panic button to find it. This is the worst run dealership I have ever had to deal with.

To say this is the absolute best experience I had buying a car would be the least. This was my first time buying a ford and I am thankful to Brad Stans for making it all happen. I purchased my ford mustang from brad in may of 2015. I went in knowing that I wanted a mustang but not really even aware if it was going to be affordable or even able to happen. Lets put it this way.. the same morning I walked in inquiring about a mustang- was the same evening Brad had me driving it home. Brad was patient, extremely knowledgeable and very helpful during all steps of the car buying process. He took the time and made sure the car insurance would be affordable for me, as well as working with me on the price of the car. upon leaving that day with my dream car, brad said "you can always call me if you ever have any problems." He really meant that. Anytime I had a question or ran into any dilemma related to the car/servicing, etc- brad made sure he answered the phone or called me back as soon as he could. It was never a headache trying to get in touch with someone at ford, unlike it has been at other car dealerships ive been to throughout my driving years. a few months ago I ran into a problem with my thermometer in my car. As a girl , knowing that I love cars but also knowing that I don't know much about the mechanical aspect, I called Brad. Brad made sure my ford was towed to the right place immediately. He gave me a loaner ford to drive until my car was all set. He kept me informed daily about the status of my car and had it returned to me in a few days as good as knew. Brad is one of the most efficient car salesman I have ever met I must say. He does his job well and not many can attest to that. When Brad told us that he would check into something, like locating a 2015 car that met our requirements, he was Johnny on the spot with his follow up. I was told that a ride to work (4 miles) would be provided upon dropping my car off in the morning when I made service appointment. I waited for an hour once I got there because I was then told they only provided shuttle service twice a week. I informed them that the breaks were screeching when stopping slowly and attributed it to break dust. I was getting tires rotated anyway and assumed they would check breaks and clean dust if present. Technician confirmed my suspicion of brake dust and office staff asked me if I would like them to clean it next time I came in. They looked at the dust and did nothing. Puzzling. Car was running rough over past week and I asked them to take a listen. Technician said it sounded "fine" when he started it and then took a quick ride up and down the street. He suggested that I leave it overnight. I had to pick up children and had to decline. I was charged $194 for oil change/tire rotation. They told me the added cost was an extra hour of labor. This is robbery. My last two service visits have gone poorly as well. I will not be returning.

I wanted to have backup sensors put into my F150. Colonial Ford told me it couldn't be done Brewster Ford gave me an estimate of $1700. I told the service advsior that Colonial said it couldn't be done and her tech said that it could. I took the truck in and had to get a rental. I was told the next day that the job couldn't be done and that I would have to pick up the truck and that i would be charged for the service. I wasn't happy about being charged and talked to the person in charge who told me that they needed to be compensated for their time. He reduced the amount to $150. I agreed that I would pay. When I went to pick the truck up the drivers seat was back as far as it could go. The tech had done this to get under the dash. Somehow the rails on the seat were now bent and the seat would not move. Now they want $600 to fix a seat they broke. Well this is getting silly. After disputing this they now reduce it to $270. The service charge, the car rental, the seat fixed and I am about at $450 with countless hours at the dealership for nothing. Should have listened to Colonial. By the way, the people are very nice and courteous, no complaints about that. They simply don't have their act together. I would look elsewhere for service.

I recently purchased a 2014 mustang convertible which was my dream car for many years . I didn't even know if it was going to be a possible transaction that day but Brad made it happen, not to mention at an awesome and affordable price as well. I found the vehicle listed online, called and spoke to salesman Brad on the phone who was able to show me the car within that same hour. I recently purchased a new car from Brewster Ford with the assistance of their sales rep, Brad. I would describe the entire process as simple and painless. We quickly came to a price that we both agreed upon and began discussing my trade-in which was very fair(I ended up receiving more for my trade-in than expected). When the time came to sign all of the papers, I met with Pete and the process continued to be smooth through to the end. After I left with my new car, I ran into an issue with my insurance company and Brad was happy to assist by speaking to the agent and faxing over any required paperwork(multiple times) until the issue was resolved.Most recently, I brought my car in for a detailing and was given a loaner car without any hassle. I found Brewster Ford online when I was searching for a new car. When I called in it turned out that the car was not at the dealership, however that was already noted online, I just happened to overlook it. Brad (the salesman) said he could get the car there next day so I could take a look at it. When I went to see that car my girlfriend met me there. After 4 or 5 months of looking for cars at a ton of different dealerships in the area, Brad was the first to acknowledge my girlfriend and not just walk right by her. He is a very nice guy who wants to get you in the car you want. Brad pulled the car fax on the car for me, let me take it out on my own, and he held it at the dealership for me while I was working on figuring out my finances. I ended up with a great car and I could not be happier. I have not had any experience with the service side of the dealership yet but I will update my review once I do. When I am ready to get my next Mustang I will give Brad another call.

This review comes long overdue! I suppose because I really wanted to take the time to write a proper and deserving review for Landon Johns, my sales consultant at Brewster Ford. I have been dealing with Landon for over 2 years now. He has assisted me with the leasing of 2 Ford Escapes, each time with pleasurable and affordable results. Hes an outstanding, caring & HONEST (yes I know, rare) sales person who Im proud to now call my friend. Each time truly listening and meeting all my car needs. I first met Landon in 2012 shortly after Super Storm Sandy totaled my Ford Explorer. He was able to put me as ease, which is no easy task for a woman in search of a new car and provide me with all the applicable discounts and rebates due to my unfortunate circumstances, resulting in the lowest possible monthly payment imaginable for the 2013 Escape. At the end of my 2 year lease agreement, I drove 2 hours from Brooklyn to Brewster just to deal with him again. And once again he delivered a new 2015 Escape, with the same exceptional service and payments tailored to my needs. Ive come to grips that Im not an easy customer to deal with and I certainly had plenty of challenges for Landon, but he handled them all with ease and professionalism. I was treated with the utmost respect and never felt pressured in any way. Completely absent from this dealership are those scammer type salespeople that are so evident at other dealerships. Stay away from this place if you can make it to the next garage or nearest dealership. Danielle, the service MANAGER, is a xxxxx, hangs up on you when she actually picks up the phone. (Like previous customers here have touched on, they do NOT call you.) They have had my car for 2 1/2 weeks working on it. They have had my car for 3 weeks to work on it and make minimum to no contact with me. Three seperate occasions they scheduled oil changes where I made them aware I'd be waiting. The last time I was waiting 45 minutes until I went in and found they hadn't TOUCHED my car. The other two were similar. Whether they're overscheduling or just don't know what they're doing it's still wrong. I can't express the physical sickness I feel talking about this dealership. Do yourself a favor if you need to buy a Ford buy at Colonial or somewhere else because it's worse than a headache. Oh and by the way, people should know most of the nice ratings look like they're from employees. An their employees beg customers to write reviews, my sales rep left and told me.

I have my '08 Explorer back today after 32 days in the shop at Brewster Ford for a transmission replacement and to have them check a pulsing brake pedal. First off, they will not call you...if you want to know the status of the repair to your car, you have to call them....repeatedly. I received my truck back yesterday and immediately noticed that the brake pedal was pulsing just the same as it did when I dropped it off, in spite of the fact that I had to remind George in the service department to check them almost every time I called in to check on the repair status. I just had the truck out now, exactly 28 hours after picking it up, to find that the transmission oil is leaking and the transmission that they "just replaced" is slipping and banging into gear between 3rd and 4th. To top it off, the front lower valence on the truck was hit while on their lot and has damage. I will be in there Monday morning....can't wait to see what the chance is of getting a loaner out of this wannabe service shop. This dealership is an absolute joke and really has no business calling themselves "certified" in any way. Seems they're only certified in one thing...taking your money. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

I recently went to see a used vehicle (2002 Ford Ranger) that the dealership had just taken in on trade. Kevin Panepinto couldn't have been nicer in giving me every bit of information he knew about the vehicle, which was fairly considerable. I felt he was very honest in what he told me without sugar-coating things. After test driving I was undecided but was promised I'd get a full shop report the next business day. I left the dealership very surprised that I was never asked for any kind of down payment to hold the vehicle. Have bought alot of cars in my life, and this was a first.Sure enough the next day I did hear the shop report from Kevin. He told me that the truck needed ball joints (something I wouldn't have known on my own) and that the dealership was already replacing them. That and an oil change (which they also took care of) were all that they saw the truck really needed. All the while they said they'd have no problem if I wanted to take the truck somewhere for an independent inspection. I declined as live out of town and realized there would be a logistics problem, but felt good that Kevin had offered without my having to ask.So, at this point, the vibe I had with Kevin (which I assume reflects the dealership's) was very positive. I offered to come in again to chat more as I was still very interested and thought that's where face to face negotiations would be necessary if I wanted to close on the terms. Since I live and work out of town, Kevin said it really wasn't necessary, that we could cover that over the phone. So, after they had worked with me on the price that I wanted, I really had no problem saying yes!Regarding the paperwork on the sale, there were absolutely no surprises anywhere. No hidden fees, no gotcha's, no monkey business. Everything went exactly as I expected pretty much down to the penny. Kudo's to Brewster Ford!So, the other part of knowing a good dealer from a not so good one is whether they stand behind what they sell. I found a minor issue in the first week of driving that necessitated bringing the truck back (parking brake not engaging) and they got me right in the next day and took care of it for me. I also may or may not need a thermostat replaced but have already been assured that they'll take care of it for me. I don't expect a used vehicle to be perfect but my confidence in Brewster Ford is definitely reassured by this. Between my wife and I, am usually buying some kind of vehicle every two or three years. And now our 4 kids are all either already driving or very soon to be. I will be looking to do alot more business with Brewster Ford in the near future. They seem to be a rare gem amongst car dealers and definitely worth driving a few extra miles to visit!

I have just purchased a 2014 Ford Explorer Sport. There were dealerships closer to me, but I am glad that I dealt with Landon over at Brewster Ford. Specifically:1) He actually knew the technical details of the vehicle I was interested in.2) He allowed me to test drive the car for as long as I needed with no pressure. This was an expensive car for a FORD ($50K) and I wanted to make sure I was completely comfortable before purchasing.3) He knew about all the various rebates and promotions and helped me to attain them. This included X-Plan and Private Cash. Other dealers did not bother to disclose this information which saved me a few thousand dollars4) Landon answered all of my numerous questions and always returned my calls.5) Landon helped with the special offer and made sure the car came in quickly.Most customer service is poor today. Most sales people do not know their products and do not really care. Landon actually was useful in the purchase process and is a credit to the Ford brand.

I just leased a Focus SE from Brewster Ford, and I love it. Besides loving the car, the whole experience was excellent - I didn't deal with the usual pushy salepeople who think they know better than I do about what I need that I seem to run into at every other dealership. I worked with Brad, and he was extremely helpful in listening to what I wanted and finding me the right car. It's sporty and fun, with some power and a whole bunch of "extras" that I didn't expect. Brad was willing to go through his inventory to get me into the car that fit all my requirements - including my desired budget. I didn't have to compromise at all, and everyone was extremely friendly - two things that I don't typically expect when buying or leasing new car. I've driven a Toyota ever since I got my first car, but after the experience here, I may be sticking with Fords.

Landon was very laid back and never put pressure on me to commit to the vehicle. After my questions were answered (very well and thorough by the way) I expressed interest in the vehicle but wasn't ready for my final decision. The next day, I decided to return to "run the numbers" for the vehicle. I met Pete who was the finance manager and was very open and no nonsense. I was never asked to leave a deposit or for any money to hold the vehicle while I made my decision. I did not have to create any bill of sale or any such thing for the finance manager to work with me. This is completely opposite to every single experience I've had purchasing vehicles. Every other dealership was worried about money up front and creating a bill of sale before they would even entertain me obtaining my actual costs of the vehicle. On the third day, I showed up and said I was ready and got my vehicle the same day (earlier than promised too). Another Ford dealer only cared on my first visit and when I had returned seemed to not want to be bothered. The next day I decided to return to "run the numbers" for the vehicle. I met Pete who was the finance manager and was very open and no nonsense. I was never asked to leave a deposit or for any money to hold the vehicle while I made my decision. I did not have to create any bill of sale or any such thing for the finance manager to work with me. This is completely opposite to every single experience I've had purchasing vehicles. Every other dealership were worried about money up front and creating a bill of sale before they would even entertain me obtaining my actual costs of the vehicle. On the third day, I showed up and said I was ready and got my vehicle the same day (earlier than promised too). Another Ford dealer only cared on my first visit and when I had returned seemed to not want to be bothered. Kudos to Brewster Ford, they held the vehicle from my initial interest until I made my decision. Thank you Landon and Pete for giving me the time I needed as well as comfort throughout my process.

I am very disappointed with my experience at Brewster Ford. I truly thought I found a dealership that was honest & I could continue to use for years. I drove from Long Island New York up there just to be let down. I spoke with Gary over the phone and told him my credit wasn't the best & all the things to expect. He assured me to come down and everything would be fine. When I got there he had the car in the front and immediately let us test drive it. We fell in love with it & we couldn't wait to have it. After all paperwork he told us that we got denied by the TWO banks they use..which I told him would happen. The finance guy told us one bank would approve us but we had to wait till Monday. We walked out disappointed but understood there wasn't much they could do. We thought we would still have our car because the bank he told us about would approve. Monday came around & I didn't hear anything. Tuesday came nothing. I didn't want to seem pushy buy on Wednesday called to see what's going on. Gary wouldn't get on the phone & never returned my calls. I checked the website & they were selling the car for 6,000 more then the price we were getting it for. I think it was horrible how I waisted 6 hours there & in the end he didn't even put out the call promised. He actually didn't even say bye! Nicest guy in the world but he's clearly just trying to sell. They really did not try at all to get us approved because they probably got the offer for more. Isn't if first come, first serve?. Sad...I was going to recommend him to many people. You'll love it there UNTIL they see any delay & leave you out to dry!
