I live in Pennsylvania and was looking for a very specific car. I contacted several different dealerships in different states about this car. They were more interested in taking a deposit than assuring you that all your concerns would be addressed. Most of them end up selling those cars also. This was not the case with Sellers Bowman Auto Center. From the first chat with their internet sales person to the actual sales person (Jim Larson), I received first class treatment. They did everything they say they would do and more. The whole transaction took place online, phone (calls and texting) and email. Jim never made me feel as if I was just another customer. He treated me as if I was his only customer. I can't thank him enough. I definitely would refer them to anyone and look forward to buying another car there sometime in the future. Thanks again, Jim. You're the best salesman I've encountered yet.

My husband and I always look for Jim Larson when we want to buy a vehicle! We recently purchased not one, not two, but THREE vehicles from Jim Larson at Sellers-Bowman! Jim is always courteous, professional, and helps us out with the details we don't always have time for. The facilities at Sellers-Bowman are great too! The showroom is clean and easy to maneuver, and the sales staff are up front where they can easily be seen when you're ready to buy! From the time I walked in the door and told Jim Larson I was hoping to drive a jeep home that I found on line, until I DID drive that jeep home, Jim treated me like I was an old friend of his. We ran over some speed bumps in the process (average credit, out of state drivers license, lenders with too high of an interest rate. But Jim and Randy Frick wouldn't give in. I sensed it wasn't just to make a sale, but to help out a friend. That's how they made me feel. They could have settled on the first lender if they just wanted to make a sale, but no, not these guys. They kept at it until they found a lender with a LOW interest rate and score! A very clean, organized dealership with a large (and clean) service department and car wash. A large clean waiting room with a big screen set, toys and pop corn for the children (or adults). I very highly recommend this dealership.

Just bought a 2013 Chrysler 200 from salesman Jim Larson. He was very helpful and sincere and put our minds at ease thru the whole process. Very pleased with the dealership. The paperwork seemed to take forever but that seems to happen everywhere. All in all a very good dealership to buy a car from. We would definitely buy from them again without hesitation!

I havent bought a car in almost a decade. I've been to dealerships, but usually walk right out after 10 minutes of talking to the "salesperson" - literally because they were merely that. Every time I've gone to look at buying a new car, the person seemed like a typical salesperson. At Sellers Bowman, Will and Randy were great, they were human and made the process simple for me. They didnt try to sell me on anything that I didn't want, and really wanted to make sure that what I liked is what I got. Thank you again!

I recently purchased a 2005 Nissan Pathfinder from Sellers Bowman. Since I had initially called in to setup an appointment for a test drive, I was assigned Jim Larson as my sales contact. I am very glad that he was assigned as he made the viewing, testing, and buying process super easy. He was extremely personable and knowledgeable of the vehicles and was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. I had come to look at 2 SUVs but ended up buying a different one based on the current inventory. They had a great selection in my price range which is certainly not always the case elsewhere. Because Sellers Bowman was not going to be open that upcoming Saturday, Jim was willing to work with my schedule to come back early the following week to close out the sale. During the test drive, I had noticed a small issue and brought it up to Jim as we discussed the vehicle further. He worked with his repair shop to take a look at issue and they fully resolved it before my purchase. It was a small issue but it meant a lot to me that they would be willing to rectify it for me. That is great customer service. One final mention regarding Mr. Larson. While I was sitting waiting on my final paperwork, he received a call from a prospective customer. I could tell he was obviously speaking to a young man about the potential purchase of a car within a specific price range. I was impressed that he took the time to explain the credit process but also advised him to check his insurance to ensure he could remain within his allotted monthly budget. I have never heard another sales person provide that insight to a young buyer. Usually they simply try to sell a max amount and could care less if a young buyer defaults in the near future because they didn't account for the nutty MI insurance rates. He actually stated to the caller that he would step him through the buying process as if he were his own son. That really stuck with me and gave me easy confidence with my own purchase. A very stand up guy indeed. I would defintiely buy again from Sellers Bowman and especially Jim Larson.

I have had very bad experiences in the past trying to get financed for a car at a dealership it never happened! I applied for an auto loan through auto loan solutions who in turn gave me an ID# and sent me to Sellers. I drove home the next day with my new used car!!

Saw the car online and called up Sellers Bowman. Reception connected me with Jim Larson who was extremely responsive. I'm from the other side of the state so I had my dad drive out to meet Jim and test drive the car, Jim was able to have everything ready for his arrival as to not waste time. A good report had me driving to Sellers the next day and it was well worth it. The Escape was extremely clean and meticulously detailed, looked great! Jim offered a very fair price and made the whole transaction very easy, comfortable, and without that typical used-car-salesman pressure. The dealership invests in a rigorous inspection process and makes sure all pieces and parts are operating correctly. I'll definitely be sending everyone looking for a great deal on used car to Jim Larson!

I am very satisfied with the service, the product and I recommend Bowman Sellers to anyone who needs a vehicle. Most dealerships are filled with salesmen that are willing to tell you anything and rip you off to fill their pockets. You won't find that here. I was really wary of the dealership at first, but it only took me about fifteen minutes inside to see what kind of people I was really dealing with. Great experience.

My experience at Sellers Bowman was good. My agent, John, was very friendly and helpful. I do think I got a good deal on the car. As with purchasing any used vehicle, I expected it to have some kinks to work out. They had done a lot of tune ups to the car, which was great. I only wish I had known about an ignition issue on the Chevy Equinox's prior. Soon after I got the car home, I started having issues taking my key out of the ignition on the steering column. I took it to my mechanic and he said he cleaned out some debris from the shifting column, but that has not solved the issue so I fear I may have to get that replaced in the near future. It is what it is right?

Used cars are used cars. Nobody can predict 100%, what is going to happen with any of them. So, it is nerve wrecking by nature to buy a used car. But Jim Larson and Brian Burke at Sellers Bowman made it comfortable and actually fun. Almost like buying a new car... They were upfront with everything, let me drive the car by myself and even suggested to have it checked out by an independent mechanic. After agreeing on the terms the car was ready at the set time for pickup and was even washed and had tire shine on the tires! Thank you for an excellent experience!

I searched for a used van for almost two months going to about 115 used car lots from Detroit to Dearborn, Sterling Heights to Ann Arbor. I have to be honest, I began to dread going to a used car lot. I was flat out lied to, deceived, pressured, you name it, I experienced it. When I contacted Sellers, I expected the same. I was absolutely surprised, shocked and pleased. No pressure, honest salesmen, clean shop, and the van I was looking for at the price I could afford. They gave me a tremendous, fair trade price for my used vehicle. I wouldn't go anywhere else. If I need another vehicle I am going there again. John Lusk, the salesman I talked too, was very personable, honest and pleasant to deal with. Never pressured me for a second. Ask for him when you go in. Thank you again Sellers! Buying cars is one of my least favorite things to do. 'Which is probably why I've bought so few cars in my life. Recently, I found a vehicle on-line located at this dealership. Their location was not near to where I live, but the car fit the bill of what I was looking for. Based on reviews I found at this site, I called Jim Larsen (who seems to show up quite a lot, and in a good way in the dealership's review record). I can't be more satisfied with my choice. Jim handled everything for me with professionalism, courtesy and charm. A great guy. My purchase was at an acceptable rate. The car is exactly as described. No complaints. All good. I would strongly recommend Jim Larsen to anyone interested in finding an honest, easy to work with car salesman.

If you buy from them make sure you check to make sure everything that was in there when you test drove it is still there......we are missing an antennae, owners manual, and some of the floor mats.......ridiculous!

Test drove a 2014 van and liked it so we bought it. When we test drove the vehicle it had an antennae and owners manual. On the drive home from purchasing the vehicle we noticed there werent any radio stations coming in (there was no antennae).....then later we also noticed there was no manual. Called them the next day since they were already closed by the time we noticed the items were missing. Been a week and they keep giving us the run around over a measly anteannae and owners manual. John Lusk will not return phone calls, I have to do all the leg work. I am sure that they took the antennae and owners manual off our van to put it in another one.....like I said poor way to run a business.

purchased a 07 Silverado and John Lutz was very helpful. said he would take a care of a couple of issues. of the things I asked about they only did one fix, after the sale he's hard to get in contact with has never called me back I always have to make the call. I will not recommend this dealer to anyone but I will tell them of my dealings with them. they are their to sell and after you buy your on your own. I should have made sure they fixed things before signing the paper work as after they just don't care and he sounded so sincere about fixing things.

Jim Larson deserves "Salesman of the Year!" He provided my husband and I with his respect and undivided attention. He also went out of his way to pull vehicles from other locations to make sure we were aware of all the options available for each model year. Jim wanted us to be completely satisfied with our purchase. He made sure every vehicle was washed so we could inspect the exterior, and the interior of every vehicle was spotless. Due to the cold weather, Jim even offered for us to inspect the vehicle in their garage area where it was warm. We were also impressed with the Sales Manager, Brian. He, too, was friendly and willing to discuss any questions my husband and I had about the vehicles. We are so impressed with this dealer, we have them looking for an additional vehicle for us. I recommend this dealer to everyone! If you want to find the perfect vehicle they will find it for you.

I have nothing but good things to say about working with Jim Larson and Jon. I bought a beautiful 2013 F150 FX4 from them. The service and the facility were amazing at the least. They were so helpful and willing to work with the financing I had. It would be worth the 1.75 hr drive to go back. I can't say enough how nice it was to go to a dealer and be treated like a human being. All calls were answered promptly. Paperwork was completed faster than I've ever seen. If there were ten stars they would have gotten 10 stars. Excellent experience!

My initial contact was via the internet and with emails with Marina. She is the best I have dealt with as far as being responsive to internet requests. My salesman was Jim, he is knowledgeable and very easy to deal with, goes out of his way to find you many different cars that may fit your needs. I rarely have good experiences with car dealers, this was an exception to that.

I purchased a 2008 Pontiac G6 from Sellers Renew in June 2014. It was the worst mistake of my life. I needed a reliable car to get around in after my 05 Mailibu began failing. I've had nothing but issues with the G6 since I purchased it. Me being 22 year old woman and it being my first car buying experience, I feel like I was taken advantage of and sold a piece of crap car. Two weeks after taking delivery of the car, the service engine light came on and the car began having problems accelerating. I immediately contacted Mike G. and brought the car in the same day to have it checked out. I was told that it was nothing but old codes. The service engine light would come off and on occasionally. I contacted Mike again about month and a half later about the service engine light again as well as the acceleration issues and was told that someone from Bowman Chevrolet would contact me to schedule an appointment to look at the car. A whole week went by and nothing. I called my salesperson as well as emailed him and never got a response. I finally ended up calling Bowman myself and of course, they knew nothing about me or the car. So now this is going on three months of me driving this car with issues and Bowman finally looks at it. I was then told the catalytic converter was bad and that it needed to be replaced. I purchased an extended warranty for the G6 but no surprise, the catalytic converter wasn't covered so I was quoted just under $1000 to repair. I didn't have that type of money to spend on the repairs so I left with my car and was told I had to pay $90 for diagnostic testing. It is now December, so I have been driving around with a check engine light and problems driving the car for 6 months. About 2 weeks ago, I was doing research online about G6's and common issues and sure enough, catalytic converters came up and even info about GM extending the warranty from 80,000 miles to 120,000. I bought my G6 with 91,000 miles on it and I currently have 104,000. I'm curious as to why I wasn't made aware of this extended warranty when I had my car checked out at Bowman in August. Like I said, I drive back and forth to school and work, which is 30 minutes each way. There's been times when I thought my car would stall out because it struggles to accelerate or I thought someone would for sure hit me. I've very disappointed at both dealers because I feel like information was withheld from me. I totally regret coming to Sellers to purchase this car and I would never recommend this dealership to anyone. Sure, everyone is nice until you purchase the car then your phone cars aren't answered. I was also promised another key fob for my car and never got that either. I would have been better off making the repairs to my old car.

Visiting the dealer was a reality check - a most pleasant and rewarding one. I was sort of "locked in" to a model and price, but soon found that the dealership had plenty to offer that I could not have found out about on-line. I spent more and chose a different model simply because what the dealer offered was so much better than I had anticipated. I spent more, but feel I got a lot more car and a lot more value by doing so. The cars and the offers spoke for themselves and John Lusk, my salesman, facilitated the decision making process and then handled the business, financial matters with crispness and dispatch. He was more of a sympathetic companion to me on my journey than a pushy salesperson. The ratings above were well justified. RWM

Nice dealership in brand new facilities. Jim was very curious as I shopped around between Sellers and another dealership. In the end, Jim's non-pushy attitude won me over and I spent more money to purchase from him. The vehicle was a used cargo van and I found that it felt "off" while on the test drive. I Was looking for a 2014 Tahoe or Suburban with low miles - color was negotiable. Jim was internet salesmen, a nice guy, They picked me up at the airport as well and they had deal approved "slightly" lower than Cap One,etc. First some disappointing issues, The vehicle inside was not cleaned/vacuumed, moved seats found things in underneath as well, - I had asked for and was told ok that i wanted an oil change to be done so my 12 hour trip would have no issues - It was not done- they never did the oil change, the power steering fluid leaks from top gasket as well, (this is a 2014!!) My financing was done and in place for 3 weeks, but still had to wait for paperwork to be done, not before, not when i called from airport, not when i landed, but once i was in showroom - then got call weeks later, they needed references not asked for originally on app or show room- i already had vehicle 10 days 700 miles away - I asked on delivery for the second key and remote - 3x I was told it would be sent to me - 7 weeks later still no keys and still no remote. As well I left my cane there, they were going to ship it to me asap as well - 7 weeks and no still no cane. Was told "all" mats would be in vehicle, but rears are not there...They are nice guys and Jim is very nice, they try hard to get you the car, at the price and finance it - absolutely. ... Also - they have a loose relationship with a GM dealership / but not a Dealership when it comes to warranty/paperwork, warranty pricing changed too, I had to use a 2nd party warranty company -. Again nice guys, but in the end a standard fare used car dealership that just wants you in and your signature on a credit app, later on things seem to just slip through cracks, So the extra few bucks i saved will cost me in a new chipped key, and remote, a new cane, an oil change, and rear mats $275-$300 anyway. Sorry Jim but is its how it happened... I really was hoping that i would be able to leave an extremely positive review - As Well they are soon changing the company name i heard, so i really guess that perhaps these reviews will not matter. I was looking for Impreza with rear view camera for my daughter. I thought that I found what I was looking for on their website as the car had the large screen on the dashboard on my PC screen. I took my van to check a jerk while I am driving ,thinking it was the transmission they told me that I had to leave it for 10 days before they can take a look at it but to check the check engine light they can do that in 24 hours ,the diagnoses fee was $100.00 which I paid that ,next day they told me that it needed an EGR valve and a tune up which the bill came to $998.00 ,then I asked them if I d the EGR alone will that take of the problem they said there is no guarantee ,then I asked them if I did both the tune up or the EGR they still will be no guarantee because that jerk can come for either or , then I asked them to check the AC since I have the van there and the wanted another $100, ended up selling the van after I disclosed the problem to the buyer ,the salesman that i was dealing with which I forgot his name has no clue what customer service is .

I purchased a Ford Escape from Mike Grzanka about a month ago. I held off on writing a review until we put some miles on the vehicle. No issues with our Escape, we are very pleased with it. Mike was excellent to work with. Not at all pushy, very knowledgeable and professional. He took the time to answer all questions, provided us options to take the vehicle overnight if we wanted to thoroughly check it out and was very prompt with return phone calls. Pick up was incredibly smooth and quick. He had all paperwork ready to go and our vehicle very clean waiting for us. I spent several weeks looking for an Escape and Renew had the right vehicle at the right price. I highly recommend Renew Auto Center as their vehicles are of quality and very competitively priced. Jim Larson and Sellers Renew know what real customer service is. I discovered the oil pan was rusted and leaking a couple of weeks after I purchased a Jeep from Sellers. I was pleasantly surprised when they not only replaced it free of charge, but they found that the transmission pan was rusting also and replaced that as well. They certainly exceeded my expectations. I enjoy telling everyone of my experience with them.

At this dealership with dealt with Jim Larson. What a nice guy. Very personable and friendly. Not pushy but very courteous. In the beginning we were very hesitant about going to this dealership because of the name. The name is not inviting and sounds sort of like for people with bad credit or maybe that it had vehicles that have been restored due to some type of problems, floods, fires, theft restoration, etc. Not a good name for dealership.

The 2005 Monte Carlo is in excellent condition with very little cosmetic issues, all of the equipment / features were operational / functional, and mechanically the vehicle was solid. The vehicle was a well maintained by the first owner and had no accidents on the CarFax that was provided free of charge of by Jim Larson, our salesperson at Seller's Renew. Jim is an honest, low pressure, and very knowledgeable salesperson that has been in the automotive sales business for over thirty years. The vehicle included a powertrain warranty through a third party insurance company called Zurich Direct that I am familiar with that is based in Zurich, Switzerland in which the company provides a wide range of insurance products and do honor claims on their warranty. The 6 months / 6,000 mile Zurich powertrain warranty was free of charge, the dealer filled up the car with a tank of gas, all of the car's fluids were changes, they fix vehicle's issues before they put the vehicle up for sale. Seller's Renew is operating similar to CarMax dealer with their sales approach, high quality vehicle inventory, and excellent customer service. I would definitely purchase a vehicle from Seller's Renew since I was impressed with quality of the vehicle, Jim Larson (salesperson) and the sales manager Jon Bauer customer service skills and attention to detail, and providing a warranty at no charge. We bought a car from this dealer because they got really good customer reviews and seemed trustworthy. They, however, sold us a lemon. The check engine light was on when we test drove the car and their technician told us it was "no big deal, just a sensor." When we picked up the car the next day the check engine light was off but as soon as we started driving home, the light came back on. We took the car to the local Nissan dealer in our area and it turned out the catalytic converter was bad. They said we could still drive it. The next day when we tried to pull our camper, the car lost all power. We took it back to the local dealer and had to put $2400 into the car...and we had basically only driven it home from the dealership. Of course, nothing was covered in the 6 month/6000 mile warranty that sellers renew had given us. I have tried to contact sellers renew to no avail. I know that this is a risk you take when buying a used car, you buy "as is." However, our local dealer told us the catalytic converter was melted, major damage that was done before we ever bought the car. Sellers renew knew about the major problem with this car. They have received great reviews online from people saying they bought a car, experienced problems, and sellers renew remedied the issue. I have not had the same experience and would not recommend buying a car from them. Neither our salesperson, Jim Larson or either owner have answered emails or phone calls. This is the first and last car I will buy from a used car dealer. I was leary of buying a used car from a dealership in the first place, but was persuaded by the great reviews this dealer received. I should have followed my instinct. Don't make the same mistake I did with this dealer. I should have taken the car to a mechanic, other than the dealer's OWN mechanic, and had it checked out before I bought it, my mistake, I know.

This was my first time buying a car, and I cannot explain properly how awesome Jim Larson was! I had been searching for about 2 weeks with my dad (a mechanic), and Jim was the first person to really talk to me about the car, rather than talking over me at my dad as salespeople at other dealerships did. He was incredibly friendly and accommodating of the unique situation that I was in. I found a car that I loved, and Jim's team had no problem fixing the minor problems my dad found on the vehicle. The price was right and my new (to me) vehicle runs great! You can tell that Jim and his team at Sellers Renew genuinely care about customer service and really make you the priority. I highly recommend first time buyers (or any buyer) to go talk to Jim at Sellers Renew!

*We were looking for a reliable car for my daugher, but didn't want to spend a great deal of money. The sales man that worked with us was not judgemental at all about that fact, and he willing to discuss the options available within our range. (Other dealers had been very condescending regarding our personal values, related to our interest in a car in this price range). He found us a nice little "starter" car for my dtr. Although it it has quite a few miles on it, it runs very well and I feel confident of her safety after their mechanics "check it out". Also, at the time of purchase, we noticed that the air conditioning wasn't working great--he had it pulled in the garage, and fixed it! * We were so happy with this process, that we returned two weeks later to purchase a car for me! (Originally we were planning on purchasing a new car). We worked with our "old" sales person, as well as another one-they were both very helpful, and worked well together. They did a great job of making the insurance and financing process smooth and easy! I have already recommended them to some of my co-workers. Thanks guys!
