Another great experience with Service Advisor Randi Smith, and Service Technician Jason. Took my 1999 Honda CRV in for routine service and a broken rear cargo latch. Left feeling very satisfied with the work, the price and the Service Department. The only place I go. I also meet Service Manager Brian Langley, who truly cares about how his Department is ran.

We drove 2 1/2 hours to get there and well worth the time. long story short and to the point,the 2013 pilot was suppose to be certified and the windshield had 4-5 chips in it that we didn't see till later cause there ws dew all over car so they told me they wouldn't put a new windsheild in it,keep in mind its suppose to be certified,wich by the way they arnt suppose to sell the car that way,2.they were telling my 2014 impala was worth nothing pretty much cause of being a rental and 1 owner keep in mind they said it was in mint condition with not 1 scratch or ding or rock chip in it, low milage so I said prove to me this car is only worth that little amount..so he pulls up impalas on the internet but guess what IT WAS WHAT MY CAR WAS WORTH AT A AUCTION,YA HE THOUGHT I was stupid then he pulls up the old body style instead of mine wich is the new style and told me the old style was worth more..Then I saw the pilot was touched up with this milky white paint that didn't even match and it was infront to so, with the windshield and the front bumper all scratched I said I didn't want it,then he said other Honda dealers don't get along I would have to drive their to have anything fixed,and I needed to hurry cause he could of sold another car and im taking to long I have one thing to say..... SHYSTERS,LIARS,AND RUDE..STAY AWAY FOUND MY WHITE PILOT UP NORTH AND TREATED WITH RESPECT WITH A WELL TAKEN Honda pilot...by the way its a white 2013 pilot stay away from it hasn't been taken care of. Honda of grand is the place to go..ask for keith..really there all great.the rude salesman is jeff,he wont even negotiate with his boss ..terrible experience how could you lie to people like that ......ya and other people were there waiting for the car If I didn't want it..lol sure they were,,sly move..can you say snake

I was so appreciative of our last car buying experience! It came to getting a new Honda after putting 203,000 miles on my 2003 Pilot. My wife had recently replaced her car with a Honda Fit earlier this summer and we dealt with Paul Schmidt who treated us well and did a great job helping her pick out the right car for her. I came in on Tuesday and it happened to be Paul's day off, so I dealt with Scott Schuster. Scott is a great guy, easy to talk with and knew a great deal about the 2015 CR-V. We have three Hondas in the family and appreciate the reliability of the brand. Thanks again Scott for helping us with a big purchase. I talked to Brenda in service yesterday morning (9/15/15) when my brakes acted up. She had a full schedule but promised to work me in. When I got there she offered me a loaner. it was a 2015 Hondacrv and I fell in love with it. I called her back and she put me in touch with Jeff Sullivan who got the ball rolling before I could get back. He was very patient and helped me find a car I could feel comfortable with and unloaded all my stuff from my old Honda into my brand new one. He spent a lot of time with me to acquaint me with the rear camera and blue tooth. He explained the owners manual would be on the cd and offered to help me with any questions that may come up.Many people made this possible. Buying my first car out of school. Had an '02 Civic and it did great so I was looking at a '15 coupe. I worked with Scott on it and he was phenomenal. Very knowledgeable and personable. He listened really well and never tried to push anything onto me. I ultimately bought a Jetta TDI from another place, but Scott was hands down the best person I worked with during my car-buying experience. I simply felt the Jetta was a better value for me at this time. However, I did have a family member looking for a new CRV and I directed her towards Scott and she bought a '15 from him. She also had the same great experience with him I did. I would (am) definitely keep recommending him.

I bought a 2015 Honda Civic EX-L on July 29th (2015). My sales consultant was Paul Schmidt. I just have to say, it was such a great experience! I went in very nervous because I had never bought a new car before, and my last used car buying experience was less than satisfactory. Paul walked me through the whole process, and didn't try to "take" me at all. He showed me every single number and where it was coming from. He was extremely friendly and made sure I was comfortable through the whole process. I absolutely love my new car, and I definitely recommend Paul Schmidt and Bob Lindsay Honda for anyone looking for a great car and a great buying experience.

We live in the Joliet area and started our family vacation when our Odassy's air conditioning stopped working. We called 2 dealerships close to I55 and were told no time and unwilling to look at our van. We called this dealership that was 45 minutes out our way. Ben Ross, the asst manager took our call, met us at the dealership, and had us back on the road in 20 minutes. we were lucky it was only a fuse. The Peoria area is lucky to have this dealership!Dan

Buying a (used) car is almost always unpleasant, but the sales team at Bob Lindsay seems to be filled with nice, low-pressure people that make the process much better than at other dealerships.Emily Norris was great to deal with and really went above and beyond to make sure I was thrilled with the car. For example, even after going through detailing, there were parts that were still pretty visibly dirty. I asked if someone would be able to clean it more thoroughly, and Emily did it herself because no one else was available.Matt Szidon went on the test drive with me and was really knowledgeable and nice to work with.If I lived in Peoria I'd definitely return to Bob Lindsay, and even though I live in St Louis I'll check out their inventory the next time I'm in the market.

After changing the oil in my Honda Accord, I suspected that there was a leak in the transmission line that goes to the radiator, so I took the car to the dealership for an inspection. They told me that the radiator was the problem and it would cost $700 for parts & labor to replace it. I instead bought a radiator from the Honda dealer in Lisle, IL, for a mere $233 (radiator alone was around $350 at Bob Lindsay Honda) and I replaced it myself. The line was still leaking. I pressure tested the old radiator with 130psi of compressed air, but could find no leak. So, I returned to the dealer and requested that they refund the $120 diagnostic fee, since I just wasted a bunch of money on a radiator that was perfectly functional, but they declined to give a refund. I asked the service manager to pressure test the radiator like I had, but he refused to try and find a leak. The manager asked to look at the car, so I let him. He said that the clamp on the radiator hose was not installed correctly and that was the reason for the leak. He told me that they installed the clamp correctly and the leak stopped, so clearly the radiator was the problem and the hose was in good working condition. When I got the car back, the notes from the tech said that he trimmed the flared end on the hose and reinstalled it. The service manager blatantly lied to me and refused to take responsibility for the misdiagnosis in any way. Also, I went to the parts desk to get some spark plugs, and they came back with a bill for over $100 for 4 spark plugs. I was blown away by this, and declined to buy, I then ordered the same part# online (NGK Iridium plugs) for under $40 shipped. I will never buy parts from here again unless I need it immediately.

Wow, All I can say is Wow. The last time we were treated so well was a weekend getaway at the Ritz Carlton!!! Our 2013 Odyssey had some maintenance issues which were out of the factory warranty yet should not have occured with only 25,000 miles. Bob LIndsay Honda's service department (and our salesman Paul Schmidt) went to bat for us and got Honda Corporate to correct the issue. It is so refreshing having a team of experts working FOR you....the customer. I have often said that it is the service that sells the vehicles. I'm not sure if it will be 3, 5 or 10 years down the road but the Service Department sold my next van by taking care of us. Also, I can't praise them enough for their waiting area and hospitality. My wife is the one that took the van in and she took along our 4 year old, 2 year old and our 9 month old. They treated her and my children with such kindness and took extra time to help entertain them as they were there nearly 4 hours. (the original apppointment was not scheduled to be this long but the day quickly spun out of control) They even helped entertain the kids when my wife was on the phone and in discussions with everyone. It was just an amazing experience.THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!! It is so nice to do business with a place that cares about their customers!!!!

Nice new lobby and super friendly people. Don't let them fool you- they're not your friends. And that lobby didn't pay for itself. I brought my Honda in for a repair estimate on a burned out clutch. Online estimates for this repair are $600-900. They quoted me $1800. What?! Then, when I said I would have to take some time to figure out how to pay for that insane quote, they charged me a $50 service charge (to tell me what I already knew was wrong with my car).The bottom line is this- if you're no longer under warranty, there is no reason to go to the dealership for service/repair. Go elsewhere. Support a local mechanic or do it yourself...

Just traded in our 2008 Accord EX-L for a 2015 Accord of the same trim line. This is our second purchase at this dealership and EVERYTHING has been top notch, from salespeople to service to all staff. This time Mike McAtee was our salesperson. He was the epitome of what we look for in a salesman, knowledgable, to-the-point yet not rushed, and most importantly, not pushy in the least. He understood what we wanted and worked to that end. I purchased my 1st Honda a couple of weeks ago and my salesman was Mike McAtee. He was referred to me by my sister who has purchased vehicles from him in the in the past at this dealership and 1 in Bloomington IL. Mike was very attentive to my needs (what I was looking for in a used vehicle) and worked with the finance manager to get me the best deal they could. I have enjoyed my 2014 CRV and will refer friends to Mike and the dealership. Since I have only had my vehicle for a couple of weeks, I have not had to use their service department, but feel confident that when I do I will be treated well and SUV will be serviced as required.

I have been going to Bob Lindsay since 2008. I have the best service from Justin Perry! Every time I have been to the shop especially the past year, Justin has always taken care of my care and my concerns. Making sure I have a shuttle. Making sure my car is fixed up to my standards. Especially, this week when my car died. Yes, he was sympathetic when he told me on the phone. He tried finding a used engine. When I decided it was time to let more civic si go; he made suggestions. He reached out to a Matt Szidon in sales and let him know what I wanted and was looking for in a car. It was because of him that I will always want to have him as my service center contact. Caring. Understanding. Great customer Service. Next, Matt Szidon had to deal with my shock of my car being not fixable and my tears. I was not the easiest person to have to deal with that day. I also work retail and know the troubles of dealing with people. I was too emotional and probably a little rude (not the kind of person I am or want to deal with). Matt was understanding and knew I was having issues. I had to think about signing and committing for a day. I called the next day and talked to Justin. And then Tammy Boyd helped me finalize my decision to order a new civic si. I was totally impressed with the three amigos!! It took one day to locate my new car...and get it to the dealership. The process was so easy and painless! I will recommend all three to all of my friends! It takes a special person to work sales and with the public. Not everyone has that ability or knack. I had bought 2 vehicles before this and was in the market for another vehicle because the vehicle I had been driving was wrecked beyond repair. I always like looking in the bargain row section because that fits our budget best. When I first got there on Saturday March 7th I was looking at a couple of used CRV's in the front section of the lot. Went inside to talk with a salesman (Andy Gilchrist who was outstanding,I had dealt with him in the past) and went to test drive one of them. I really like the feel and how it drove so I came to the conclusion this one was for me. I knew I would have to finance the car so we went ahead and drew up the paperwork. Over the weekend my wife and I really discussed the finance part and did not feel comfortable at all about financing. The following Monday I called Andy and said we really do not want to finance after all. I gave him a price range of what we wanted to spend and by late that morning Andy called me back and found 2 cars for me to look at. he did not at all make me feel like I was a fool for passing up the CRV. The cars Andy found for me were both Accords so I test drove them both and ended up buying one. Andy was extremely wonderful to work with. He went above and beyond to help me out. He is the main reason why I like to go to this dealership. Extremely friendly and personable. Two thumbs up for Andy!

I did a lot of research online and found the car i wanted at Bob Lindsay. I went in early on a Monday. The ladies at the front desk were kind and greeted me, then introduce me to Andy Gilchrist. I told him about the car i saw online and we went and checked it out. After taking the Honda Accord out for a spin i loved it! Andy was wonderful, he explained all the features ( its the EX-L with nav so theres a lot of options to learn). He made my experience enjoyable. This was my first time buying a car alone without a CO-signer so i had a lot of questions. Andy and Tammy Boyd the finance manager doing my application, made these so effortless and easy! They explained everything to me so clearly i felt they had my best interests at heart. Tammy was more than helpful and was on my side when the bank quoted me higher apr she got it to the apr i wanted. After i signed the paperwork i gave her a big hug, thats the kind of comfortable kind atmosphere it was! When i walked out to give my old cars keys to andy and get my new car andy got in the car and sat with me. I was this dealership recently a routine service on one of my Honda vehicles. Emily is the service tech who took care of me during this service, and this was my first experience with her. She did a really great job; she was attentive to my needs, and while my vehicle was being services she provided an update and advised me of a couple upcoming services. She told me that the timing belt is past due for replacement based on the vehicle's age, and the 90K service will be due the next time bring this vehicle in. I had checked my owner's manual regarding the timing belt replacement before I scheduled this service, but it was vague on this subject. Emily's advice was very helpful for me. Emily is just one example of the great people I've had the pleasure to work with at this dealership. Others include Brenda, Justine, and Jen.

The staff is extremely friendly we have worked with Matt Szidon on 4 vehicles and he has went above and beyond. He was very helpful in explaining the different options and what car will fit your needs and budget. The accord crosstour had a glitch in the nav and he was working with us and the service department to get it corrected and fixed. Matt also explained the leasing program and got us started into it with a civic si that was worry free and worked out so well that we found our family leasing an accord at the end of the lease. Matt walks you through the car and explains the options to be sure that you understand the car which is very helpful. If your schedule works best on the day he is off work or out with a customer Brad May stepped up to the plate and filled right in with no break in the action. That makes it very nice and accommodating to get your vehicle without hassling your family. The service department has been very good and does a great gob at being friendly and checking our cars out informing you of anything that needs attention. The fiance department was very good at having things in order and getting paperwork in order. Thanks Tammy Boyd for doing such a great job. If you don't want much money for your trade-in, and pay full prices for theirs this the place for you then! I've never been so insulted before at a dealership. My car was in prestige condition with low miles and they completely low balled me on my car. When trying to negotiate price on theirs, forget it.! Your wasting your time and gas if your from out of town trying to deal with this dealership. I'd never recommend this dealership to anyone!!

I took my car there for some routine maintenance. After getting it back I soon noticed a gurgling noise when I would start the car. I was too far from the dealer before I realized they had left the radiator half empty. I ended up having to buy a gallon of anti-freeze at a gas station and re-fill it. I talked to the service manager and all he would say was we messed up. He didn't offer to pay me back for the antifreeze or even say he was sorry. All he said was we messed up

Horrible experience every time we go. We have a certified used Odyssey 2011. In the past 7 months we have had to take it into the dealership 7 times! It took them 2 times to fix a noisy door, 3 times to fix and over charge for a part under warranty, and 2 times for a broken warranty part. They even charged us for new brakes and then later said our brakes were not the problem. Absolutely awful experience with them and because of their service department my husband will never buy another Honda. Sad considering I had 2 Honda Accords before.

Showed up to look at the Pilots. We were unsure of what 3 row SUV we wanted to go with, and even though I don't like the looks of the Pilot we showed up to test drive it to see if that could win us over. We walked up and down the row looking at Pilots, with no other customers to be seen, waiting for a salesman to greet us. No one ever showed. We parked right in front of the window and know at least 2 of the salesmen sitting at some desks inside saw us outside(we waved bye when we left). And I feel so terrible for not knowing his name. He was middle-aged and soft spoken and he truly was the best car salesman I have ever encountered. He was very honest and up front with me. Being young, he knew I didn't have a lot of credit, and he told me that applying for a car loan could ding my score so not to do it until I was absolutely sure I wanted it. He was so helpful, almost fatherly-like, and in the end I decided to wait a bit longer to purchase a car- but I will definitely be going back there to him. One employee, Mike McAtee, was the reason I chose to do business with Bob Lindsay Honda of Peoria, IL. Having known Mike since our school years I knew him to be a kind, patient, and extremely personable man. Kindness in itself is sometimes sorely missing in this world of ours. I lived out of state for a number of years, having returned to Bloomington (IL) in 2011; finding myself needing a better car, Mike was my first thought, and my first choice. Mike made my purchase of a Honda CR-Z Hybrid THE best buying experience of my life, after less than stellar 'help' from other salesmen in years past. I loved the car, but due to other reasons, I recently needed a larger vehicle but a larger Honda was not in my budget. I located a Chevy Impala on the Lindsay website, contacted Mike, and in less than a week I had traded vehicles. As I live many miles from the dealership, Mike made the extra effort to bring the Impala TO me for a test drive. A salesperson has never done that before, and it just reinforced the reason I went to Mike in the first place. A small service issue arose a few days after I purchased the Chevy and Mike personally drove it to the dealership, leaving a very nice car for my use that day. Mike returned my car that evening, the issue was fixed and I was not charged for it. On February 16, my husband and I walked into Bob Lindsay Honda in Peoria, Illinois, with the intention of test-driving and then possibly purchasing a CR-V. We were assisted by a salesperson who introduced himself as Mike, and he was very pleasant until we got to the negotiation. We had given him a price that was quoted to us by Napleton Honda in Loves Park based on the Costco auto program discount. We were hoping that Bob Lindsay could match it, so we could save ourselves a four-hour drive. He offered us a price that was $350 higher, and we said we would still prefer to make the drive for that amount of money. Immediately, his tone changed. He became upset enough that I started to feel very uncomfortable. He accusingly insisted that we were unclear about our expectations, and to prevent any further misunderstandings, he attempted to push us into signing a hand-drawn signature line to prove our commitment to a lower price. We refused to sign something so vague, and he continued to bully us into signing. He finally gave in and went back to his manager. We felt that his aggression was uncalled for, considering the fact that we had already communicated to him that we had the mindset to buy a car if they could match the Costco price. We decided to leave and just make our purchase in Loves Park where we already knew we would be dealing with a courteous salesperson. About thirty minutes later, the manager called to ask us why we had left. We attempted to explain the situation to him, through his rude interruptions, and he was very nonchalant despite the fact that we were clearly still upset. He even went to far as to deviate from the problem at hand and ask us about the Costco program because he was contemplating using it for his location. I felt as though he did not even care that we had just made the decision take our business two hours away based on our treatment by one of his salespeople. Then, rather make any attempt at earning back our respect, he apologized for the fact that we would not return based on our experience with one single person. I was absolutely floored that a manager of a car dealership did not comprehend the importance of consumer experience or the effect that a single persons actions can have. Needless to say, we will be spending our day off tomorrow driving up to Rockford for our vehicle, and we will do it happily. I would rather drive that distance and deal with a courteous staff than dump our hard-earned money into the hands of people who do not care to understand their business or the people they are supposedly serving. I know that many people have had very pleasant experiences at this location, and I would normally just say to make sure you do not deal with Mike... but the fact that the manager was just as uncaring pushes me to urge you to avoid this dealership.

This is the second time we have leased an Odyssey through Bob Lindsay Honda in Peoria with Clark Taylor as our salesman. Clark is knowledgeable, friendly, and very easy to deal with. With all the technology out there for consumers to compare pricing, consumers can reseach any vehicle at the palms of their hands. Dealerships get greedy instead of selling lots of cars with only marking it up $500. They will greatly overcharge the few buying consumers. Very unhappy, they were not willing to compromise. I brought my car in for an alignment check. I had previously spoke with Emily Norris when I had my car in for a recall earlier in the year. Justin was so helpful and I was waiting for my car so I thought I would look Emily Norris up. After talking to her about a new Honda she refered me to Clark Taylor because Bob Widmer was off that day. The deal I got and the customer service I experienced made me feel like buying and new car, so I did. That process also went perfectly. They found my car and put a spoiler on it within a few days. Bob Widmer handled my delivery on Saturday. Everything went as planned. Bill handled the financing end of it and was also excellent. What a great experience. This is the 2nd vehicle I have purchased here. I had to trade in my Ridgeline because of gas prices (didn't want to - loved that vehicle) but it is what it is. I went in, told them what I wanted to do and the vehicle I wanted and I had an offer back in about 30 minutes and what a great offer it was. Even though the 2 sales guys were covering 4 Bob, they treated me like I was their customer.It will be very hard to buy a vehicle somewhere else ever again.Good job

I have my oil changed at Bob Lindsay Honda regularly. Every time I visit the dealership they are friendly. I recently had a few major repairs done at the dealership. I was so surprised with their pricing. I shopped pricing with other dealerships and local repair shops and they were right in line with the others. I thought Honda would be much more expensive. I left feeling like I got great service and a great value!

I mainly go for service on my Honda, and unless you go on a Saturday when it's really busy, serivces are performed quickly. The entire facility is very clean and there are always about 3-4 vehicles on display in the showroom. The waiting room is located near the service department and has a TV and magazines.

I was looking for a new car. I knew what color, make, model and year I wanted. When I emailed Bob Lindsay Honda of Peoria, I was put in contact with Larry Cook, Internet Manager. Instantly, he was helpful. Of course, the car I wanted sold at their dealership "just minutes" after I started speaking to him but he was quick to try and find other alternatives, never pushing different cars at me. Only once did he suggest a different car--everything I wanted, just a different color, from his dealership. I declined. Since then, he tried over the past few days to find the car I want and find a way to obtain it through a dealer trade. Other dealers in the past have been pushy to sell the more expensive cars at me. They give me flat answers that usual further my lack of interest in their dealership. But, Larry seemed to genuinely care about helping me find the car I wanted and did well to bid for my business. He has been honest about the process without trying to push or give off that "car salesman" vibe. I would reccommend this dealership based on Larry Cook's personability and dedication. Paul is a very diligent, and conscientious person who knows how to treat his customers. After countless hours of searching local dealerships we stumbled into Bob Lindsay Acura. The name is well known throughout the Peoria area for his Honda dealership. From the moment we walked in the door, we were amazed at the customer service they provided. The two of us had visited our fair share of dealerships willing to work with us but Bob Lindsay (and Valarie) went above and beyond. Every question was answered honestly and our buying process was as perfect as it could be. The night before we set out to browse vehicles, our area received five inches of snow.
