I bought a used Toyota Camry from Grimm. Jon Ricketts was a great salesman to deal with, and I loved the low pressure atmosphere of the dealership. They worked with me, didn't waste my time, and I was very satisfied with the outcome, and my wife loves her Toyota. I loved that they included a 90 day warranty at no additional charge. Other places just wanted to sell me an expensive warranty. I'm confident that they will stand behind you if a problem shows up, say, during the first week. (That never happens, does it?) Jim in the finance office also moved me through the process quickly.You should absolutely buy your next vehicle from Bob Grimm Chevrolet.

I have had a vibration problem for 24,000 miles that GM was aware of but had no solution. The Bob Grimm team went to work and went to bat for me and got it resolved with a new set of front tires. They also managed to find my wife a different option package on a vehicle like the one she was currently driving and we traded that the same week. I always talk up the Bob Grimm team when someone I know is looking to trade. They have a Great work force there and always make my visits or purchases a memorable one!!

I bought a used chevy truck from Grimm. Half way home the radiator blew. I eventually made it home. Jon rickets,the sales person contacted me the next day to find out how I was doing with the truck.we discussed the problem and I asked that the least he could do is let me buy a radiator for their cost,which would cost them zero,and he agreed and said he would call me back. I haven't heard from him again. Now that's a dealership that really cares about their customers. Needless to say,I won't do business there again. But I will be sure and tell all I see about my lousy experience at Bob Grimm in Morton.

They were genuinely concerned about my safety, and worked very hard to get the lines replaced as fast as possible, get me a loaner car to get back and forth to work, and help work out a payment plan. We had been shopping for an SUV and found one on Cars.com at Bob Grimm Chevrolet. Set up an appointment over the internet. Vehicle was in front of dealership waiting when we got there. Salesman greeted us by name as well as a welcome sticker for us in the window. We had a bad experience a few days earlier at another dealership so this was a nice arrival experience. We took it for a test drive and once returning we informed salesperson that we had financing and they did. Was not where we wanted to be manager came and talked with us about what we liked and disliked about the vehicle. No hardball selling, we talked about different things and not once did we get back doored into talking about the car. Next vehicle we will go here to look at vehicles.

Backing out of warranty

Took my truck in to Bob Grimm Chevrolet Morton, Illinois for repair and paint. They said up front they had a lifetime warranty on all work and parts, so I decided to let them do the work. I went in to see how the job was going and saw they were putting used parts on my truck. I said that is a two year old truck, they said it will be fine you are covered by a lifetime warranty. Now the paint is peeling. I took it in to show them with my receipt and they said it is normal wear and tear. I said if it was normal wear and tear you would see it all over the truck. The only place the paint is peeling is where they painted over used parts,the rest of the factory paint is perfect not even a rust spot. I told them normal wear would show fade not paint peeling off.They said up front I had a lifetime warranty on work now they refuse to live up to their word. They agreed to repaint the truck if I paid half, but I should not have to since I was told all work and parts were covered for life or how long I owned the truck. When you tell someone lifetime to get the work it should be lifetime not come up with excuses when you can clearly see it was a poor work in the first place.

It was a refreshing change. Sitting at other dealerships for hours and could not get any figures in print, I would just be shown a few vehicles that they were willing to sell to me. From the moment I first called, the entire team at Bob Grimm Chevrolet were "on the ball". I called about an hour before they closed on a Saturday just to inquire about a vehicle, within a few moments I was making the 45 minute drive to Grimm. On my way up I received a call from one of the personnel letting me know who would be my salesman and the vehicle would be prepped and ready for when I arrived. After Grey listened to what my needs were, he had a short meeting with finance and returned with figures, IN PRINT, and they were perfectly well within what I asked for. The truck already had a great price on it, and I was very happy with the financing, there was no need to get nitty-gritty. Within 2 hours of the initial phone call (yes they ALL stayed late on a Saturday to help me) I was on my way home, happy with my purchase, happy with how my wife and I were treated, happy that Grimm has such a great team to work with.

My 2003 Chevy Blazer was recently rear-ended by a young driver. Due to this unfortunate circumstance my Blazer had damage that was nearly $2900 to repair. The insurance company to pay for repairs was State Farm and I needed to have body shop work done to repair my vehicle at an approved repair site. Bob Grimm Chevrolet of Morton, IL was on State Farm's approved list and I chose them for the repairs as I have been a loyal customer of Bob Grimm Chevrolet since 1988. Whether it be oil changes or auto service, Bob Grimm Chevrolet has always done a fantastic job on my vehicles. This instance was no exception as they asked to have my vehicle on a Monday and promised it to be done and back to me on Thursday that same week since I needed it back by Friday. They delivered on their promise and made my Blazer repairs look new car showroom condition. I called to see if they could work on it and was told they could. $300 tow bill later I am standing at the service desk and told that they did not work on rv's. He was very patient with me and my indecision about what vehicle I wanted. He let me decide what I thought would work best for my family, not what he thought was best for me. He worked very hard to fit the vehicle I wanted in my price range and didn't talk down to me because I am a woman. Normally, my vehicle is washed and it looks great. This time there were still bug guts on the front and both mirror. It is as if the person washing the car made no extra effort to remove the bugs. I watched as someone else's vehicle was parked after it was washed and they at least made an effort to wipe the water out of the door frames. No effort was made there either on my vehicle.

Our first experience with Bob Grimm was the service department (JD). Our Cobalt recall. This situation could not be fixed in terms of repair due to the condition of the vehicle because of manufacturer defect. JD was helpful and expedient. Definitely would recommend him. The dealership manager (Chuck) had to get involved and made our experience of selling them our Cobalt EXTREMELY fair easy and fast. He was wonderful and very professional as well as helpful. We brought our truck in later to trade for a different vehicle. Again Chuck was very helpful in getting us started. He handed us over to one of his sales associates Lucy. She was friendly at first but clearly annoyed that she had to wait on us. We were trading in a 3k truck for a swap to be nearly the same price. So we assumed that she was treating us this way because of her bottom line commission. It was also New Years Eve. They closed at 4 but online it said 6. She reluctantly showed us 3 vehicles. She honestly had a smirk while waiting on us that made us feel like she assumed we were "poor"or beneath her. When we returned with the third impaired vehicle after having to wait to be jump started at 550 her and the business manager were standing and waiting talking and grinning as we pulled in. (She called us while we were stranded and didn't seem concerned with our safety only when we would return). We came in and she informed us that they had closed and there may not be anyone to do our paperwork. She then informed us they closed at 4. Again we waited 45-60 min for a jumpstart in their vehicle. Then the only other woman there in her cell phone across the lobby said VERY LOUDKY "ya I already cancelled my dinner plans". Guess we were holding her up too. We apologized and Lucy said she didn't have plans but they did. She smirked a couple more times and sent us to the business manager who was nice and professional but obviously irritated as well. So we left with our paid in cash/trade vehicle glad we could still have no car payment. But disappointed that we were assumed "low class" to people that didn't want our business. Thank you Chuck for being so helpful and not judging a book by its cover. We just don't like debt. Sorry we were an inconvenience to your staff.

We ended up totaling our '13 Chevy Malibu last month due to us hitting a dear on the interstate. Of course, we had bought our '13 Malibu in December 2012 from Bob Grimm's and loved it, so of course they were our first choice in replacing our totaled vehicle. We called our salesman, Larry Haste and told him what was going on, that we wanted to replace it with a 2015, gave them all of our "wants" and they went out and found us the perfect car.A few days later, they had our car found and drove to Indiana to get it. We went in to sign papers, got a better deal financially and the finance manager, Jim helped us deal with our GAP insurance coverage on the totaled car. I feel that they all went above and beyond for us. We have been purchasing cars from Bob Grimm for a number of years and will buy future cars there as well.We highly recommend them for all of your car purchasing needs.

Just bought a used Mustang. "As is", however lasted 6 days and about 120 miles before the radiator sprung a leak. Asked whether they would take care of labor and I would pay for all parts and after waiting away a day to hear back, finally contacted them again and got told it was my problem. I wouldn't listen to anything their website or advertising says.They come off that their customers matte, however when a reasonable issue arises, they don't wish to be fair.All about the show of caring without any actual deliverance of meaning it.

We first bought a 2007 Tahoe from Grimm 4 years ago. I had bought several cars from another chevy dealer locally and they had been really hard to deal with as time went by. Contacted Bob Grimm Chevy and bought the 07 from Grey Chappin in 2010. Everything went great and when it came time to upgrade we again contacted Grey and just bought a 2011 Tahoe from him. Its nice to work with a dealer who puts you first instead of trying to get every penny they can out of you. I really appreciated the patience that Lucy Elliott had in working with me. I came in to look at a car I was interested in buying, but couldn't buy untill I was able to sell the car I already owned. After putting a deposit down on the car I wanted and waiting two weeks without being able to sell my car, they were patient enough to wait for me to get a good deal with my current car so I could afford the new one. The finance people tried to get us to write a check we could not cover . Very illegal because they didn't like we had our own financing. And did not trust the bank check we already had . They need to have training on customer service when it comes financing issues mostly which they created. The salesman was the only person that did a good job. The management needs to take lessons from the salesman. Beware of this dealership.

We paid cash for this car and had no trade in,yet we have had the car just over two weeks and they forgot to change the oil,rear brakes was bad,needed to fix dents,a fuel tank problem went bad that cost us 175.00 out of our own pocket,drivers seat needed to be fixed and the car would stop heating when sitting idle,they told my wife it was a Impala problem! I feel that they just sold us the car without checking it over when they got it,and they told us that the paint and seat would be fixed before we picked it up and it was not! Just get the car sold at any cost! I will never buy anything from Grimm Chevrolet again!

Great experience! People were great. I test drove multiple vehicles, then asked about a car on the showroom floor, and they offered to let me drive that car. I accepted and they pulled it outside for me, and were very happy to do so. I ended up loving that car and buying it. They never pressured me into anything, including extended warranty (I had one of their competitors literally try to trick me into extended warranty without telling me. When I caught it and called them on it, their finance guy wouldn't look at me or speak to me after. How sad), for which I was very appreciative. I worked in the automotive industry for almost 20 years, so I'm very knowledgeable about the whole process. Everything and everyone were honest and truthful. I worked with Lucy Elliot, and she was just fantastic! They rest of the gang there were also very wonderful. My buying experience wasn't just pleasant, it was a heck of a good time : )

I am not unhappy with the dealership. My issue is that I should not have to go to a dealer and pay $80 to have the bulbs changed on my headlights. Lucy was great. I can't say as much for some of the rest of the employees. We purchased a used car. When we drove it we noticed that the alignment was out. We mentioned it and were told they would fix that. They did an alignment and it still pulled to the left. We were told the problem could be the tire and they would not replace the tire. On our way home from picking up the car we noticed the glass on the drivers side rear view mirror was cracked. We were told they would fix it at cost. We would have to pay that. It so happened when we went to have the repair done they did not charge us. We have since found out that the head gasket is leaking, the power steering is leaking and we still have the problem with the alignment. The tire needs to be replaced. It is estimated that it will cost $2500 to fix this car.

Dropped off my Traverse, got a ride to work; they rotated tires and changed the oil. They called when they were done and washed the vehicle before pickup. Can't be any easier and reasonably priced.

Really nice people Had my oil changed, they told me it would be done by 4:00, got there around 3:45 and my car was done, they also washed it and cleaned the interior didn't expect that but what a nice touch thanks

We took delivery of our new 2014 Silverado today from Grimm Chevrolet! What a positive experience buying from this dealership! We have bought several cars/trucks in the past and this by far was probably the easiest hassle free deal yet. My wife commented when we left as to how much she enjoyed working with Lucy, normally she is not too fond of a sales person once the deal is done. We live an hour away from the dealership, so most of the buying experience was done via email, phone and text. Most dealers will not even talk to you this way! We were not expecting to buy a new vehicle when we went to Bob Grimm's. They were friendly and helpful and we left in our new 2014 Cruze. It was an easy buying experience. Our sales lady was so nice and she sat in the car with us before we left and helped us learn what all the buttons do and she set up my Onstar phone and I love getting calls in my car without having a cell phone. Great place to buy from.

I have bought a lot of vehicles before. I walked into the dealership and was greatest with smiles and hand shaking. Had my children with me and they asked about family and was genuinely interested. They gave us the bottom line on trade. Was honest with the process. It is a good Christian organization. We had to order a vehicle and the building process was pleasant. I will go back again and even have people I know to go there. I will never buy a vehicle in Peoria after dealing with a true dealership.
