Drove from New Jersey to Baltimore to look at a 2009 Lincoln that was represented by the young lady on the phone as being in mint condition. But she must never have looked at the car except from the far side of the lot, or she would have seen the badly stained leather, the rusty dent in the driver's door, the misaligned doors and fenders, the worn out spare tires (yes, there were two) in the trunk, and the extremely noisy blower motor in the air conditioning. The CarFax was clean, but it had obviously had a hard life in the past 34K miles (looked more like 340K). The salesman was pleasant but even he had to admit the car wasn't in saleable condition. Car appeared to have been used in livery service. I did buy a Lincoln yesterday, but it was back in Pennsylvania at another dealer.

I had an appointment scheduled and confirmed for 10/6/14. The dealership did an outstanding job of making a great first impression with the "VIP treatment" prior to arriving at the dealership which turned out to be too good to be true. I arrived from Washington, D.C. paid a toll only to be told that the vehicle is under contract. I understand that their business is to sell cars and I certainly did not expect them to not make a deal if someone came in, but have the decency to call me. I felt as though they simply blew it off and then had the audacity to tell me if the gentleman does not buy it, then they will call me. I have never seen nor experienced such a lack of disrespect for my time. Needless to say I am very disaappointed, the dealership did nothing in my opinion to even turn the matter around. A few cheap apologies from the salesman and "manager". I was looking forward to a great car buying experience after reading the reviews, but unfortunately it was a huge let down. And unless the dealership ever reaches out to me with a sincere apology I would never buy anything from them and would not recommend anyone else to either.

I thought I was not going to get approved considering my credit history but they made it possible. Starting with the sale calls If it wasn't for Nicole Ruffy who kept calling each month to get me to come in I would have not made this wonderful purchase. I'm a single woman making my third car purchase and I never felt pressured or uncomfortable throughout my inquiry and purchase with Bob Bell Nissan. The vehicle I purchase was a used Xterra with low miles and priced below book value. They answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable to purchase a vehicle I'd never seen or driven. Of course I did take it for a test drive before purchasing it, but wanted to be prepared to buy it when I arrived since I live 4 hours away and had to organized getting there and driving it home. The online customer service support I received from Bruce Hartz was exceptional. He went beyond my expectations in a number of ways, including looking over the car himself and sending my a video of it and his comments about it as well as having it taken to a mechanic I found near by (with great reviews) for them to look it over for me. The mechanic felt it was in great shape and noted a couple of minor things that Bob Bell Nissan took care of for me. Bruce then turned me over to Ben who took care of me when I showed up to test drive and purchase it. Once I was through all the buying details (with someone other than Bruce and Ben), Ben even set up the Bluetooth to work with my phone so I could find my way home. The next time I'm in the market for a car, I'll give them a call to see if they can help me out again. I'm very happy with my purchase and the service I received.

I called the dealership and they were very stern about wanting you to visit the showroom for oblivious reasons. I live 150 miles from the dealership so I was looking for some price incentive to show they were willing to negotiate before I traveled down and the were unwilling. I even let them pull my credit to show that u was serious about purchasing this vehicle. The lady was very nice but unwilling to do anything if you were not there in person.

We came to Bob Bell shopping for a 2013 Kia Soul, with rather specific options in mind. Instead of a hard sell to have us buy an over-equipped & over-budget vehicle on the lot, Jim Wayne, our Sales Consultant, and Sales Manager John Sandalis worked to find us a Soul that fit our needs. Two days later we took home a "perfect fit" Soul, with an equitable trade-in allowance, best-rate financing that saved us an additional $500, and an on-budget payment. An excellent transaction in all respects! Definitely a stop to make for anyone shopping Kia. As a side note, my wife (it's REALLY her car) had to visit service to address a freak tire puncture. Never easily impressed with auto service, she was very, very happy with the courtesy and efficiency of the service staff. Highly recommended!

had been looking for An Infiniti G37X for a few months. Did my homework and saw one at Bob Bell Nissan with low miles and excelllent condition. We live in Buffalo, NY and needed my sister in law from Maryland to check it out 1st. She went in the week before we came down and they treated her very well, showed her all the Carfax papers and even offered her a test drive knowing she was not going to be the buyer. She called back and said it was a beautiful car. They did the advanced work with my license and insurance. When we got there the next week Emmanual (Manny) offered us refreshments and a chance to relax before test driving and negoitations. They gave us a pretty good deal, and the best part was they beat the fianancing we had previously obtained. We were in at 2 PM and out by 6 with a beautiful low miles Infiniti! Everyone there was super friiendly courteous! Overall a great experience!

Salesperson John Sandalis was excellent in determining the right match for my needs and helping me to get the best rate for my trade-in and rebates. John, the manager, was also very helpful. Dana was great at explaining BELLCARE for Life, giving me the facility tour and helping me get the Soul ready for turn-in. Helen Silberman, in finance, made quick work of the paperwork process. I just purchased a 2012 Kia Rio LX. After looking at this car on line for the past week I decided to go in to Bob Bell to take a look at it. Marcus Hines was very professional, approached us and led us to the car I was interested in. Took a test drive and fell in love with the car. I was a little nervous about the financing, and wanted a payment that I could afford. Marcus got that payment for me. When a car failed on his Bob Bell Kia was there for us. We had a car that needed to go to the junk yard so we drive past bob bell Kia and say a 2012 Kia forte and my girlfriend and I both fell I love with the car. The next morning we went to bob bell Kia and immediately Jum Wayne greeted us. We took the car for a test drive and it was a done deal. After sitting with Jim he did not make us feel uncomfortable at all especially knowing this was out first car that we were purchasing. I felt everything was explained very well to us. From the first phone call I placed to the facility to the final purchase of my car, the entire experience was wonderful! Dana Metz in internet sales was fantastic on the phone and set up a meeting with me at my convenience. After the theif of his second car that he only had 11 months, he had to purchase a vehicle on his own after the stress of a home purchase. He trusted you all and you delivered 100%. As a teacher and a father of two, the Versa is his new baby. With a 80 mile commute with the kids everyday, the gas mileage is impressing him already. I found Bob Bell Nissan Kia of Essex through CARS.Com. When I began, I thought that I would just pick the KIA dealership closest to my residence. However, what I found were big differences in price and with the efforts to find the car with the equipment that I wanted. Whereas some dealerships only wanted to sell me a car from their inventory, Bob Bell staff actually worked to find me the only vehicle on the East Coast that met my requirements. The entire dealership staff were extremely helpful and customer focused. All in all, I couldn't be happier with the buying experience.

After a couple months of looking for a used car, I found the perfect one here for my son. Jason was super helpful and really made sure we were happy with our car purchase. We purchased a 2012 Nissan Versa from Bob Bell last week after a month and a half of searching for a new car. I had been quoted a price from another Nissan dealer and 2 days later when I wanted to go and purchase the car it was $1000 more expensive. Assane Diedhiou at Bob Bell was able to match the original price from the other dealer and Kim from the loan department got me an even better interest rate than what my bank had pre-approved me for. The manager Corey provided us with a loaner car until ours was ready to go. Overall very happy with our experience.

I purchased a new KIA at Bob Bell in March 2011. My sales rep (Karen Pedersen) was phenominal in all aspects. Recently (November 2011) I was rear ended and subsequently my car was totaled, I figured the first time was a great experience...I'll walk through Bob Bells doors again. It is amazing to me when an already superb (customer) service oriented business continues to strive to better themselves. I contacted John Nyberg, explained the situation and he immediately went to work. He asked me the basic details of what I was looking, I received a phone call back within a couple of hours of status of locating a vehicle and also was informed of who my sales rep would be this time around, Jason Grimm. Under the circumstances (customers/people in general can be rather impatient after a bad accident), Mr. Nyberg couldn't have recommended a better sales rep. Jason is young, eager, enthusiastic, and was upbeat throughout the entire process. John and Jason searched the Tri-State area and within days found my vehicle. Less than a week after the accident, I was up and running again in the vehicle of my choice. "Customer Appreciation" takes on a whole new meaning at Bob Bell... Special thanks also to Helen Silberman (Financing)...funny and helpful through the entire process.

Was told I'd get a call on Saturday at 11AM... never happened, so I call up at 1pm and ask for an update on our deal, and I'm told that he wont find out until Monday morning. I wait all day Monday.... right up to Wednesday, with no call, email, nothing. I even emailed them back asking about what was going on and it was ignored by 2 different people. I guess I haggle too well for them to even call me back. A simple "No we can't make that accommodation" would have suffice.

I spent a lot of time looking a specific used VW Passat wagon. I found the car listed at Bob Bell but being from NJ I was apprehensive buying from out of state. I needed not to worry because the whole experience was top notch. Our salesman handled every thing smoothly and efficiently. The one minor mechanical issue with the car was resolved without an issue. A great car buying experience, very highly recommended.

The vehicle we were in the process of purchasing (this was a cash deal) was sold to another buyer 2 hrs from our scheduled pick-up time. I can only imagine how customers are treated once a vehicle is purchased. This dealership treated our family with total disregard and lack of professionalism.

I found a car for my widowed sister-in-law at Bob Bell Nissan Kia in Dundalk. Piled her and her kids into my car and went to check it out. She loved the car (Honda CRV) but when we started talking price, I was given a quote that exceeded the asking price listed on cars.com. I spent the next day haggling just to get the price down to the asking price at which point I agreed to buy the vehicle the following day. I spent another day getting paperwork and money together but three hours before our scheduled pick-up, the salesman called me to tell the car was sold. Apparently a deal with these folks has no meaning whatsoever. They provided no apology or offer to find a replacement. Instead, their attitude was that's your tough luck. Probably for the best since if this is any indication of the value that they place on their customers, then I have no interest in being one. My adivce would be to completely avoid this dealer.


Look elsewhere if you value honesty and integrity

Well... Im very disappointed with my experience with the sales people. I had 2 sales people. A woman who i talked to was very knowledgeable & was willing to deal.She was good!The used car sales manager was another story.. he had a problem with the price the woman told me.He said he would find someone to buy my old car for me & well.. he didnt. He said he would order a replacement remote for my mini. He said i never said that. Or even give me the time of day when i was gonna sign the papers.. You gotta read the fine print!! Thats for sure. Unhappy with how the deal went down. I think the used car sales manager should find another job!
