My wife has bought two cars from this dealership and has had all the service on both done there as well. On her first BMW, a 528xi, she bought the tire replacement warranty. However, after a year they said they would no longer replace the tires on schedule, but would honor the warranty when the tires needed to be replaced. When the tires wore out, they refused to honor their promise, so I bought tires from Mr. Tire. I purchased Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires for her. The car's handling improved significantly. After less than 20,000 miles on the new tires, the service advisor said the tires needed to be replaced because they were "cheap Costco" tires that weren't any good anyway. The tires still had more than half their tread. When I heard this, I dragged the stupid arrogant xxxxxxx to the show room and showed him that these were the tires on the most expensive car in the showroom, a BMW M6. I said that I wanted to see the tires that had been taken off my wife's car and he refused, saying they already had been disposed of. I also said that I expected that the replacement tires be of equivalent quality. He said the tires he had installed were better than the Michelins. However, not only were the new tires he put on about 40 percent more expensive than the Pilot Sports, they also were complete crap. The car handled so badly that my wife no longer felt safe in it and traded it in. On another occasion, shortly after my wife's car went off warranty, it was in the shop at Towson BMW for routine service and the service advisor called saying the brake pads were worn 50 percent and should be replaced. He asked if I wanted him to do it. When I said no, he went into a long discussion of how important brakes are to the car's safety and tried to guilt me into "protecting" my wife's safety. For those of you that don't know, brakes typically are replaced when they are 90 to 95 percent gone and are perfectly safe until that point.Though my wife likes this dealership, I refuse to go there anymore. I bought a 328 at another Baltimore dealer and got about 13 percent off list price, My wife paid over list price for both cars she bought from Towson BMW. While she likes good service and is willing to pay for it, there is a fundamental difference between good service and honest service. Towson BMW is not honest. I strongly recommend that you visit another dealership to buy your car and even more strongly recommend that you visit another dealership to service your car.

I received an email from a person from telling me my vehicle alerted them it was due for service soon, I tried to schedule to get a loaner an was told they do.not give out loaner cars for the service is less then 2 hours, then I asked for drop and pick up service but apparently that is not offered. I first time I was in for serice I was told 45 minutes and was there for 4 hours, the reason we bought a second bmw was for the loaner serice because I didn't have time to wait around or for the pick up service I had with my last bmw. I am not pleased at all and this is only my second time dealing with service after purchasing the car. I will most likely not buy another car at this dealership.

The only reason why I am not giving this dealership a half a star or no stars is because it's not available. They are dishonest liars and spike up the prices on their cars thinking the consumer is dumb and will buy from them. They bait and switch like they want you to buy and when you waste time going there they treat you the opposite. The GM BO is a complete joke, as he was supposed to meet me when I arrived, but he didn't and sales person on phone Drew lied to me. We test drove a 328XI 37k used which Kbb.com had it for 29-31k. The sales person Jose was clueless and went to check himself and felt pretty dumb when he saw they were way overselling the car. Told me he can get me 1k off the car and would go get the Manager (Bo) and Bo just said F the customer we are not moving on the price of the car lol. What a disgrace to treat customers that way, wouldn't even go down $1. This dealership sucks and snobby as xxxx. Would never go here and glad I bought my 2016 X5 from Northwest BMW. Thats the place to go folks, when you want to be treated with respect. Oh, I texted Marc the owner before coming down and telling him to give me a good sales person and he never even responded. This dealership is worthless would never buy and glad my brother will go get his BMW from Northwest.

First BMW. Car buying can be unpleasant with pressure sales, supposed deadlines for a price, pressure to buy add-ons and protection packages. None of that at Towson BMW. Jose was attentive, helpful and very knowledgeable of the cars and took lots of time to train me on the technology.

Walked in to get better price on 2016 X5 as I was told by the girl who called me asking me to come in. I walked In was told to wait for Sales manager Josh. I was told he would know why I was there but he had no clue and was condescending. I had already ordered my X5 from Northwest and was getting a great deal but was told they would match or do better at Towson and boy was I wrong!! They tried to sell me a car $150 more a month than what I was getting at another dealer. These people wasted my valuable time and tried a bait and switch. If you're someone who wants to get ripped off go here. I'm glad I made my purchase at Northwest bmw where they have honest employees.

Steve did a fantastic job of fulfilling even exceeding my expectations. I went in because I had a brake light out and Steve noticed that I was due some additional services under warranty. I was provided a temporary service vehicle similar to the vehicle I drive. When I picked it up Bill Kasper the sales person came by and it was like a family gathering.

I returned less than a week after my service appointment, because the night I took my vehicle home I noticed a new "quirk" that I thought perhaps had to do with programmed settings on my side view mirrors. The service coordinators Tom & Derrick were great- professional and pleasant. The service manager Richard should not deal with customers. He shrugged his shoulders a lot, and told my it was purely coincidental that the motor to my side mirrors must have broke the night I picked my car up from getting $1500 of service. I also pointed out that during my appointment the technician told me I needed shocks and discovered an oil leak, but never mentioned the malfunction of the side mirror motor RIchard said it "happens all the time, he sees it all the time" and shrugged me off. To replace it would be another $1,038. I found it highly suspect that I never had this problem before, and have a hard time believing the irony of the timing. Richard was not polite, understanding or even sympathetic that I had just had my car serviced. The rest of the people were very nice but Richard should stay in a warehouse alone with a computer because he does not have interpersonal skills to interact politely with customers. Derrick & Tom were great, its too bad their service manager is awful.

While on a recent weekend road trip to western Virginia we found ourselves in need of a replacement flat tire (Run Flat).Most dealer locations were either closed or lacked the stock needed. Towson BMW was nearly 150 miles from our location, Derrick Edwards assured us they had the tire and would remain open to service our need. Arriving just 20 minutes from the scheduled close, Mr. Edwards had our X5 in the shop within minutes of our arrival. He took the time to show us around the showroom and settle into the waiting area. 40 minutes later we were on our way. Derrick Edwards exemplifies the term "service". While our vehicle needs were minor in scope, Derrick professionally treated us with every courtesy, making us feel as thought the transaction was as important as buying a new car. Well done.

Getting ones car serviced is never an exciting event, especially when it is in the middle of the summer and it is for the air conditioning not functioning properly. I called my advisor and let him know my problem. He told me to come in. I dropped off my car and there was a loaner waiting for me in the bay. I was in and out in approx. 5 minutes. I was called a day later with the diagnosis and my car was repaired. Before I went to pick the car back up I let them know I was on my way and when I arrived my car was waiting in the bay and had been washed to perfection. I love this dealership and the service manager truly understands what a "GREAT" customer experience is. Thank you Towson BMW.

Vehicle was purchased on 3/2 during cold weather. Audible vacuum leak was discovered several days later. I rubber hose to the intake manifold was worn and cracked. Noise only audible when windows were rolled down. BMW of Tysons, Bo Brand and Jim Abrecht were completely unhelpful, bordering rude and condescending when discussing replacement of a part that was bad when the car was purchased. I own several BMWs and always will. However, I will never do business with BMW of Towson again. I will advise friends to avoid this dealership and intend to post as many negative online reviews as I can. Additionally, I plan to file complaints with the Better Business Bureau and Maryland State's Attorney.I understand that dealers don't typically fix used car issues once the sale is made. However, as this is a rubber hose, deterioration occurs over time. Also, the crack was not easily seen in in a cursory visual inspection (I have pictures of the failed part). In an effort to resolve the issue, I offered to purchase the part, then to pay half of the labor cost. Both offers were summarily dismissed, again rudely. While the inept team of BMW of Towson employees met (Service Advisor, Service Manager, my Salesperson, Sales Manager and General/Dealer Manager) to discuss the situation, I was asked to wait for approximately two hours. Add this to the 1.5 hour trip each way for me to drive to the dealership, and I wasted a significant portion of my day. The most appalling thing is that the part in question was $34 dollars and required .7 hours of labor (please note that the I ultimately got the part installed by an Exxon mechanics in roughly 10 minutes). Additionally, 3 interior wood trim pieces were cracked at time of purchase. Salesperson took note and included replacement on the "We Owe" document. Dealer only replaced 1 of 3 trim pieces. Deceptive language on the "We Owe" states to replace trim "over the radio". Staff refused to replace other two pieces that were not directly over the radio.The entire staff at BMW of Towson is terrible at customer service and refuses to go out of their way whatsoever to satisfy customers, even when a "mistake" is made on their part. This attitude is pervasive throughout the dealership, and starts with its leadership. BMW of Towson displays systemic poor treatment of customers.

I slammed into a pothole at BWI airport and was running late for a flight. Had to ditch my car in the long term parking lot with a flat tire. If Jim knew he wouldn't be available the day I would bring my car in, he made sure everything was taken care of, in detail, so that my experience would go flawlessly, including having a loaner vehicle available in the service lane, ready to go. I bought my '11 X5 35d CPO in Jan '14; from that time this dealership has taken care of everything for the vehicle. My service advisor has made himself available to me day and night and in his scheduled absence he has made sure I have been taken care of, before I even arrived to the dealership. I've dropped in with questions, I've scheduled for service and questions and hands down these guys have never let me down. The sale of the car was pretty simple, I had done my research and knew what I was buying. The day of the sale I found a couple things I didn't that were in disrepair (not hazardous in any manner ie. one clip on the lower side panel was missing) and before I left the lot, parts were on order a service visit was scheduled, and a vehicle was made available to me when I dropped the vehicle off for service. Top notch management skills making the deal happen, kudos.I would highly recommend BMW of Towson to anyone in the market for a luxury line vehicle!

My latest purchase was an X3 on December 19, 2014, and Nic came in on his day off without prior notice to help get the deal done before a Christmas trip. Ever purchased a vehicle on line? I did! The experience was initially scary, but all fears and concerns were quickly removed when the salesman, Nic Brown, began corresponding both via email and phone. I looked everywhere across the US for a new 7 series with a certain exterior and interior. Towson had it. Then I began to wonder why it would still be available because I could not locate another one anywhere. Nic and I negotiated back and forth, we agreed on a price . The paperwork was sent here to Fl where I completed my end. Towson completed its end, Nic found a transport company that had the vehicle to me in 2 days. It is nicer than I envisioned! I had been away from BMWs for 5 years, forgotten how much I truly enjoy them! Understand that now, with the internet, the whole country is your available inventory.

I just had a very positive experience buying a BMW i3 from Towson BMW. My salesman, Nic Brown, was terrific. He was knowledgable, responsive, and accommodating, patiently working with me as I returned for two test drives, asked lots of questions about lease terms and features of BMW's program for electric cars, and finally asked him to find me a car with specific features that are hard to come by in an i3. He tracked down the right car, which was en route to the U.S., and kept me posted concerning its ETA. After I took delivery, he even came to my house to deliver my license plates. The rest of the dealership staff was also accommodating. I got two calls from the sales manager to make certain I was well-taken care of, and after delivery I was encouraged to, and did, meet with a "BMW Genius" concerning the car's features. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. A great place to buy a BMW.

It was truly a pleasure working with Nic and Jose on purchasing my BMW. I came in 3 times before making the purchase, and not once did I feel rushed or pushed into making a decision. I was given the opportunity to test drive multiple cars, none of which was exactly what I was looking for. Nic offered to locate the car that matches all of my requirements (exterior and interior colors, options, engine size, etc...), and when he did, he still gave me a very competitive price. The last time I was there I had to get a rental car from their loaner department because it was going to take a day or two for my car to be worked on. The loaner agent, a red head, I think her name was Jennifer or Jessica, I can't remember exactly, but she was great! She took the time to explain everything I had to sign. She also asked me if I wanted to be put in a 5 series similar to my car or if I'd rather try something different like an x3. I ended up taking the x3 which was a diesel. At first I was unsure about the diesel, but she promised me I'd like it as the gas mileage was much better with diesel. She was very detailed when we inspected the car for any damage and made sure I was aware of what damage she had seen. I ended up really liking the X3 diesel and I'm now thinking about my next car being a diesel. The staff at BMW of Towson has always been great, but with this past experience with Jim and the red headed rental girl pasted all my usual expectations!

I just bought a used BMW convertible. It is wonderful. My buying experience was quick and easy. Nic was my salesman and he was wonderful and responsive. The finance guy was excellent and I really enjoyed working with him. Service was also wonderful. I had the Zurich inside and out protection. The car came out great. A side piece of the rear view mirror came off the next day and zI was able to go back and get the mirror piece fixed in a few minutes. So far my experience has been great.

I had a very good salesman Nic. He showed me cars and was very attentive and helpful. The finance man I worked with excellent and helpful. I took the car in for Zirch interior and exterior protection. When the car came out of service everything looked great. The day after a piece of my rear view mirror assembly fell off. I took it back the next day and the service advisor took the car back right away and my rear view mirror assembly was done in 10 minutes. The dealership was undergoing major construction ( my only complaint). It was difficult to find the entrance and get around the construction.

About a year ago, I had to tow in my new BMW for a flat, I only had it for one week. They new the car was under warranty, and they still charge me for a new tire. I contacted Michelin and they said that the dealer knew the tire is under warranty for one year and they couldn't understand why they billed me. The service manager called me and I explained, but he sounded cold and uninterested. Also, the Michelin rep called him several times, and he was never available. After all this hassle, I had file a formal complaint to BMW of America and the BBB. After a couple of months of this headache, I finally received a check from Towson BMW, they reimbursed me for the tire. I never take my car there, even thou is so close to where I live.

I am on my third Bimmer. Started out with a 3 series purchased at another dealer in 2000, but had it serviced at Towson. Owned a 2002 E39 and now a 2011 F10, both purchased at Towson. Buying? See Bill Kasper. Servicing? Well, my expeience has always been good no matter the Advisor, but if you can manage it, see Jim Gugliette. HE IS THE MAN. He takes care of your car as if its his own. Answers emails on weekends (sorry Jim to let people know you do that!) tells you the real deal on costs and time estimates, and navigates the appointment process at this busy dealership. It's busy because they are the best. Have regretably been forced to use the Towson Body Shop (through no fault of theirs, clearly!), and they do great work as well....even took my wife's Benz to them for accident repair. Perfect result. I keep buying Bimmers because they live up to the hype, but the care and feeding I receive at Towson BMW from Jim Gugliette is an integral part of why I'll keep doing so....

I went into this dealership inquiring about the BMW X5. I was nervous and anxious about buying my first luxury car...and if i was going to take the plunge to buy a luxury vehicle, then which one would i choose? BMW, Audi? I wasn't even sure I could afford to buy one. Nic Brown took the time to patiently answer questions and show me some potential inventory. He didn't make us feel like we were wasting his time. He was very knowledgeable about BMW and other luxury vehicles. I was thoroughly impressed with my X5 and all the features it contained and Nic was so amicable and knowledgeable, that I really wanted to buy the car from him. I called and spoke to Rich Strickland, the service manager, learned that no appointment was necessary. Made the drive up to Towson Monday morning to drop off my 7-Series for scheduled maintenance and a few small items I wanted checked. The service lane was very clear, easy to get to, very comfortable and warm inside. I was introduced to Greg Myers who quickly gathered my information, concerns and completed the necessary paperwork. Time elapsed was less than 5 minutes. Rich took me on a quick tour of the showroom and the store and made me feel comfortable. I needed a rental/loaner as my service was going to take nearly a day. I was introduced to a young lady (I'm sorry I cannot recall her name). She was quick, a vehicle was pulled up for me, we reviewed the paperwork and I was off. Great experience. I was contacted by Greg with updates and he made sure that I knew what was going on with my vehicle and provided me with an estimate for a few additional things I wanted checked. It was nice that I did not have to call him and he called me first. Drove back to get my car, was greeted by Rich again. All of my paperwork was reviewed with me, in detail, and I was walked to the cashier. There were no surprises, everything went very smooth, and they made me feel like I was the only customer in the store that mattered. It is a real pleasure for me to comment on my recent visit to BMW of Towson. From the moment we entered the store, Saul Williams greeted us in such a friendly and mannerly way, that immediately we were put at ease. As we went through the process of purchasing, he was very patient, understanding and afforded us all the time we needed to test drive different cars (3 test drives). He took quality time to explain the pricing and trade in option we had to work with. He seemed to be genuinely concerned that we make the best decision possible. My wife and I had been reviewing BMW 328i x drives on the internet and had a general idea of what a low mileage 2013 model would cost. We had been contemplating a private purchase for some time and just hadn't found the right combination of features to make a purchase. On a whim, one Sunday afternoon, we drove to the Towson BMW dealership and found the car we wanted on the lot at a price considerably more than we wanted to spend. Two weeks later, I called the dealership and got Nic Brown as my "client adviser". I explained to Nic what we wanted to do. We had never even sat in a BMW, and we basically knew very little about the brand. He scheduled us for an appointment shortly after my call, and we were professionally and pleasantly greeted at the door. Nic spent quite a bit of time reviewing the brand, various models, pricing structure, etc. After a short time, we had become very familiar with the model. When we got in the car for the test drive, we realized the vehicle had been part of the loaner fleet at the dealership. Any concerns we had over the integrity of the vehicle were quickly dashed after the test drive and experiencing the performance of the vehicle, first hand. In addition, we were impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of our adviser, Nic. He was never pushy and never seemed to be getting impatient with us; he took the time to give us a thorough tour of the facility, service department, parts area, etc. He introduced us to the service advisers and managers. He went out of his way to make us feel comfortable at the dealership. Also, Nic spent time with us reviewing the features of our vehicle and its extensive technology. He even took the time to load our phone address books into the database. I must admit, we felt much more comfortable with the sizable investment after realizing the advancements in safety and technology combined with the level of service we would receive. I read on other reviews that Nic Brown is a pro, and I found that to be true in my purchase of a 2012 328i. Nic and I exchanged a few emails regarding the car, and made an appointment at a time convenient for me to meet. He was there and ready when I arrived - and spent a substantial amount of time with my wife and I going over the car, and attempting to make an obscure Technical Package feature work. After updating the software and doing a good amount of research, we were able to make it work - this involved a couple of hours of Nic's time and he still did not have assurance that I was going to buy the car! When it came time to negotiate, I told Nic I just wanted to pay fair market price - and he agreed. By the time we'd broken down the price using Kelly Blue Book, I realized I would be paying $1-2k less than KBB, plus Nic agreed to have some minor scuffs and a ding repaired! I got a great deal, a smooth no hassle transaction, and had a great experience! I highly recommend Nic, as well as Dave (finance) and the rest of the team at Towson BMW.

I am not a fan of the car buying process especially as a female. I visited a few dealerships in the area prior to BMW of Towson and was frustrated by pushy, unknowledgable, intimidating salesmen. It was such a relief when I walked into BMW of Towson and had the pleasure of working with Jose and Craig. Both are top notch salesmen who are not only knowledgable but also patient and not pushy. They made my car buying experience simple, efficient and helped me find a car that fit all of my needs within my budget. They didn't try to spin the numbers and fit me into a "payment" or comprise what I wanted in a car. They were realistic and upfront. They helped me weigh my options and were patient when I had hundreds of questions! And their customer service didn't stop there!!! Once I selected my car, they made the buying process a snap!!! All of my paperwork was prepared for when I picked up my car. No hidden fees or games when it came to the paperwork. My new car was shiny and new waiting for me in their "salon". This is where Jose took hours teaching me all of the ins and outs of my new car and helping me set up my Bluetooth, contacts, music stations, GPS....etc! He was so smart when it came to all of BMW's capabilities. In addition, he offered to assist with any questions or concerns with the technologies in the future! Most salesmen consider their jobs done when you leave the lot....... This is NOT the case at BMW of Towson, especially with Craig and Jose. My advice, if you are looking for a new car, talk to Craig or Jose at BMW of Towson before making any purchase. It's worth your time!

My wife is a disable military vet who was about to buy her first (used) BWM from Towson. I negotiated a fair price with the salesman before attempting to put a 5k deposit to hold the car till the weekend. The Manager Bo Brand said the dealerships policy is to NEVER take deposits on used cars. Three days later we arrive at the dealership with USAA check in-hand only to be told that someone put a deposit on the car the night before and would be back in today to close the deal. When asked about the policy, Bo Brand told us he determines who he accepts deposits from, sorry. The then told us to pick something else or leave but the car we wanted is off the market. We even called the dealership before making the hour commute from DC and were told that the car is available. It wasnt until we got to the lot then suddenly the car is off the market to us. These guys are in the business to make money so for the life of me I cant figure out why they would hold or sell us the vehicle. I dont want to specular but it was clear that some sort of unethical behavior was at play here. . Complained but upper management did nothing. If possible, take your business elsewhere. These guys are a part of Priority One Automotive Group which owns the Towson , Rockville, and Bel Air BMW dealerships. The Passport BMW dealership was so appalled and disgusted by the treatment they had my wife build (on the computer) a new car and charged us the price that we were going to pay for the used car from Towson. Now thats a class act.

I received the most appalling service from BMW of Towson. After arriving at 8AM on Saturday morning to have my car diagnosed as to why the service engine light was on I stood waiting in the service lane for 30 minutes before anyone came over to greet me or to tell me they were busy and it would be a few minutes. Finally, 45 minutes later, I received help from a service manager who took me over to the waiting area so my car could be looked at. Over two hours later a diagnosis was made and I agreed to have it fixed. I was told it would only take an hour. However, 30 minutes later the service manager came back over and told me they did not have the part I needed in stock and they would have to order it. I would have to bring my car back on Tuesday morning and leave it to be fixed which I agreed to do after I was assured they would have a loaner for me and I could quickly drop my car for service and take the loaner. Tuesday morning I arrived to drop my car off for service only to be told I would have to wait in line to fill out paperwork for the loaner vehicle even though my service ticket was already written up. After waiting 15 minutes and making it clear I had to head to a meeting and could no longer wait, a nice woman in front of me offered to let me have her place since I was in a rush only to have the gentleman behind the loaner counter tell her I would have to wait because there were several other people still in front of me. (And then he laughed.) At this point I walked back over to the service manger, Derrick, that helped me in the first place and told him I would be leaving and not getting service at this dealership due to the deplorable customer service I had received and despite trying to spend $900 to repair my car at that location they did not seemed pressed for my business. As a BMW owner that has actually never stepped onto a BMW lot before this experience (purchased my car at another dealership,) I am appalled that they would treat a possible future customer (or any customer) in such a terrible manner. Although I was looking for a new car, I found a used X3 with low miles on the Internet at this dealer that looked like it had everything I wanted on it. I decided to drive 65 miles to the dealer to test drive and confirm the car's configuration. Weeks before, I had actually ordered a new Mercedes from another dealer after weeks of study and deliberation but after test driving BMW and having all my questions answered satisfactorily by the salesman, I decided to purchase the BMW instead. We agreed on price relatively quickly, including a price for the Infiniti I traded in. Everything was taken care of as quickly as possible and I drove home in my BMW the same day. Can't have a better car buying experience than that. Bottom line: this dealer had the car I wanted with all the options I wanted, at a reasonable price, and that's why I bought it. Jose Vielma is the most knowledgeable car representative I have ever encountered. It's as though he memorized the owners' manuals for every BMW product. His knowledge of the car's technical and other features is impressive. In fact, it was amazing.Jose didn't appear to be "playing games" when it came to the car buying experience. He laid out the price, financing features, and my options. And yes, he seemed to have memorized financing terms and options, too. I happened to be on vacation in MD and realized BMW of Towson had a much sought after (personally) manual 135i coupe with an M-Sport package in Le Mans blue that I knew I could not pass on the opportunity of test driving. A quick call, which was directed to Jose, was all that was needed. Jose reacted quickly and expertly in working with my schedule to allow for me to test drive the vehicle. I missed the agreed upon window (due to traffic) of when I intended to test drive the vehicle which was not brought up or held against me in any way when I did arrive at the dealership. After test driving and eating up a good deal of Jose's time given my own financial apprehension I decided to leave the deal which Jose did not fight for me to reconsider which was much appreciated. There was no "hard-sell" approach taken, Jose gave me his card and told me to call him the next day if I did decide to take the car or not. Without the pressure I was accustomed to after working with Ford/Chevy, I was given space to make my decision which I do not regret. Jose sold me an excellent car at a great price which I have enjoyed every single day I've driven it.

I worked with Jose Vielma and was pleasantly surprised that he already had the x5 I wanted to test drive at the front parking area. I've done my research and tested Jose and he answered all my questions about the X5 very accurately and his overall knowledge of bmw products including specific specs is spot on. I've been to two other bmw dealerships and so far Jose has been the most knowledgable and proficient sales advisor I've dealt with. I purchased a 2011 used BMW car from this dealer thinking that the dealer has checked out the vehicle and repaired any issues that needed to be resolved. After 3 months, I needed to take it in for an electrical issue (first time) with the battery not charging. They seemed to fix the battery issue for the short-term, but notified me about 2 rims being bent. After further inquiry, I learned that the rims were bent prior to my purchase also, and were "fixed" prior to the sale. At the time, I drove the car 1 mile to/from work, and had put just under 300 miles on the car. The service team advised me that the tires are also bald and they'll need to be replaced, along with an alignment. After being outraged, I called BMW Customer Care, who were not willing to do anything. I went out of pocket $1200 to fix the issues and have new tires put on the car.The electrical issue came up again (second time) about 2 months ago, and was told that there's nothing wrong, but the battery needed to be charged. So they put it on the charger over the weekend and it was "Fixed". The issue was barely resolved, as the welcome lights did not work and the battery discharge warning was back on the iDrive system the next day. I took the car back for the third time for the same electrical issue, and asked them to look at a slow leak from a rear tire. The battery issue was fixed from an upgrade to the SW, supposedly. Regarding the tire, I was told that the same rim that has been fixed 2x now has a crack and needs to be replaced. Outraged again, I called BMW CC and they were again no help. The rims in question are the BMW 225M rims with run-flat tires. These very rims have the source of multiple law suits in the UK and BMW has acknowledged the defect in the UK, but continue to ignore their customers in the US. A quick google search will show you multiple issues with these rims, yet BMW NA says "those are UK issues, we are in North America, so that doesn't apply to us". Given that your typical customers spend $40-$60k per car, I would expect BMW to stand behind their product and take care of issues that can be proven as defective OEM equipment. So to summarize, the car was back at the dealership in the last 12 months 3-4 times for the same electrical issue, and 2 times for rim issues. Lastly, I am also using the Progressive SnapShot policy mechanism which tracks how your car is being driven. The last 3 days the dealer had my car, the Progressive GPS tracker showed rapid excessive acceleration and repeated hard stops. I emailed my service advisor and asked him if there's something wrong with the brakes... his response was less than comforting and basically said it's due to the traffic in the area. I lived in Towson for a year and avoided 7 hard brakes in a 20 minute drive... I'm no expert, but I think you can safely avoid this. The techs need to also learn to treat the customer cars with care. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should treat customer cars badly... It's no wonder BMW is losing market share to competitors. Your product has continued to decline if reliability and workmanship since my first BMW in 2001... If you can't stand behind your product, don't expect any of your customers to.

I saw a 2006 BMW M6 online and decided i wanted to pursue it.I emailed the dealership and Bill Kasper followed up with an email and a phone call within minutes. When i arrived he was never pushy he talked calmly with me and showed me just about every option of the car and explained it in a way i could understand. He answered every question i had and let me take the car for a long test drive. When i decided to purchase the car he went out of his way to have the car detailed for me and even checked the vehicle for service codes in which he found one so he had that taken care of even before hand. He could just as well let me drive the car away and i would of found out later that i would of have a service repair message pop up on the car, Great job with that. I love my 2013 BMW X3 and had a great experience working with Rob Phelps. He took the time to help me decide between a certified pre-owned vehicle and a new vehicle, based on my wants and future needs. He even took the time to figure out what my monthly payment would be on a top import brand versus the BMW. He was careful to explain the options available to me and I never felt pressured, rushed or hassled. He even came to my house and picked me up when my vehicle was ready for pick up. Rob did little things that impressed me...like syncing my iPhone to the car. I was so nervous/excited that he had to calm me down before I pulled of the lot. He a great saleman and really knows BMW's inside and out...nothing I asked stumpped him. The next morning he called to ask me how I like the car (I was over the moon, Btw!) and told me to pop in if I had any questions. This isn't the first new car I bought but this was the first time I actually enjoyed the sales experience. Frank in finance is a hoot and a really nice guy too. I initiated contact via their web page to inquire about preowned Certified BMW. After playing phone tag for 3 days with the sales person, my husband I decided to go to the office on a Saturday to take it for a test drive. This was on 12/17 - regularly known as a slow time to buy a car right? Maybe not. We arrive, we find the car we are interested in and go in side the dealership (Towson BMW). The receptionist calls our sales person. He comes otu with the keys to the car and lets us take it for a test drive. When we come back he greets us but is apparently managing multiple customers at the same time. He is very concerned about the trade in value of our car and told us that if the appraisal from bmw comes back low - HE would take us to Car Max right up the street and help us get our car appraised AND then bring us back to the BMW dealer. Wow now that is good customer service right? Wrong. Not sure what happended in the process while we were waiting for our trade in appraisal but Mr. BMW sales guy comes back and gives us a rate for our car and it's not bad. It's $500 lower that we wanted but everything is negotiable right? WRONGWe he comes back with the appraisal he tells us we should ride up to the Car Max and have them appraise our car. At this point we had not even discussed the certified pre-owned BMW we were looking at buying. Not the price, not the financing nothing... I asked Mr. BMW sales guy (who was all about 15 years old) - well talk to me about the car. Before we go selling our car we want to make sure we want to/can buy a different car (good idea right). Maybe this is where it all went wrong and maybe I was frustrated because Mr. BMW Sales Guy had acted all "customery servicey" and was willing to take us to Car Max blah blah blah - and now he's throwing us out. It didn't matter - I think any normal person would get that impression right? Well then he gives us the price of the car and it's $4000 over kelly blue book. Then he starts yapping about Edmonds.com and he looks it up there and low and behold it's $4100 cheaper ON Edmonds... Then he starts back sliding - he doesn't know why it's more expensive he would have to ask his sales manager who would ask the pre-owned manger, blah blah blah yada yada yada. I asked him if this is a question he could ask today or would he have to call us about it (which I wasn't very sure he would do since we played phone tag prevously and never had a chance to talk to him). So the problems are at this point:1. Pre-owned BMW we were considering is $4000 more than Kbb or edmonds. com and we have no explanationas to why.2. Appraisal of our BMW came back about $1000 low the kbb's worst scenario AND $500 less than we we owe on it. We bring this up to Mr. Toddler BMW Sales Guy tells me that I should wait until my car is paid off in 6 months and come back. Wow. I guess that BMW does not need sales or business like the rest of the world??Frustrated my husband and I walk out. We talk to each other outside in the marking and realize we are both livid at this little jerk so we go back to tell the manager. To add insult to injury the sales manager starts back sliding too. There is no "sorry for your frustration" just scrambling to support the toddler sales guy's point of view. We bought our current BMW at this office. So we are repeat customers. Wouldn't you think that would get us respect? Not so much. After sitting in Mr. BMW Manager's office for a half hour and watching him scramble to why the price is so high (he's looking on the web and talking our ear off) - I never got a sorry - so I interrupted Mr. BMW Manager and told him - look - we are repeat customers, we drove 2 hours and sat in traffic an extra hour to come here. I don't like being treated like this and walked out of the office. Sadly I left my poor husband there with Mr. BMW sale manager guy and he said that the manager appologized after I left. Me I'm still waiting for my apology. So at this point I would never buy a car at the Towson BMW dealer. I' not so sure I will buy a BMW next. Sad though - because the current BMW is the 3rd BMW that we've owned. I love them as does my husband. They've been phenominal cars to our family. The sales peole - not so much...

I just bought my 3rd car from BMW of Towson on Friday. I already adored this dealership...but my most recent experience took it to a new level. Up to this point I had received nothing but incredible service.Jose was who helped me with my recent purchase. What a pro. All too often salespeople don't really listen...they try to sell you what they want to sell you. Jose, on the other hand, was totally focused on my needs, budget, etc. and found the perfect car for me. I was so impressed with how he took my input that I hoped to buy an electric BMW when they come out in two years...and helped me see why a X3 made more sense at this time rather than a X5...get a great fully loaded car without spending a lot more for a X5...and then when the electrics come out, I would not have spent too much before buying that next car. How many salespeople would push you spending less than what you thought you thought you were going to have to spend? And he made the entire purchase so easy. Jose validated why I love this dealership so much...they are so head-and-shoulders above any other dealership I have ever worked with.As I briefly mentioned, I adore their service department. All of the service writers are seasoned car guys...they really know cars (as opposed to other dealers I worked with in Baltimore, like R & H that has young employees who know nothing about cars!). Besides knowing the business, everyone I have dealt with in the service department are also so friendly, caring and professional. And their policy of not requiring an appointment makes it so easy...and they have a great loaner car program.I cannot recommend them more strongly!

I visited Towson BMW because they were one of the dealers who had the used vehicle I wanted in stock. I was driving a BMW that was in excellent condition with all the bells and whistles including navigation, satellite radio and Bluetooth so I really didn't need a new vehicle. I had seen a used 650i on the lot of another dealer. I actually went to that dealer 1st. Unfortunately, they along with another dealer failed to follow-through and really didn't try very hard to help me with my purchase. Mr. Kubi at Towson was extremely professional; and helpful. He made the difference. I winded up buying a 2011 vehicle because Mr. Kubi took the time to show me other options, was very knowledgeable about the vehicles and continued to treat me like a real, potential customer even after I said I was not willing to pay the monthly payments associated with the650 I originally came in the shop to investigate. Additionally, the dealer where I originally saw the 650i offered m e a ridiculously low price for my car.

I went to the dealer to look at a car I found on the BMW CPO website. When I got there and asked for someone to help with pre owned cars I got a person that started off with questions that made me think he did not think I was capable of purchasing the car I was there to look at. First off I own a 2011 M3, so I can afford a used 5 series. I let him know I had found a few options but would like to stay local If possible. He immediately said that it was not possible to compare used cars as "each used car is unique" and would not answer questions I had about the difference between another 5 at another dealer. I asked to test drive and he asked if it was nessasary. I left completely turned off by this dealer.

I recently had a terrific car buying experience with Peter Faris and Chris Dunkes at the Towson location. I had the car I wanted narrowed down to 2, the X3 and the X5 but, my heart was truly set on an X5. I called Chris (who I knew from my previous BMW purchase at the Bel Air location) and he invited me to stop over to the Towson location to have a look around. When I got there, Chris introduced me to Peter who exhibited the patience of a saint with me as I was very picky in what I was looking for. Peter and Chris spent 2 days with me back and forth, undecided. I finally thought I was going to purchase a white/beige X3 but, at the last minute, I once again changed my mind and decided I really wasnt going to be happy if I got anything other than the X5. The second night I was there, Peter once again took the time to look through the lot with me and I was able to find the X5 I wanted, black/black. Peter and Chris worked diligently with me (Chris by phone from the Bel Air location) for many hours to put me into my new car. It was after hours once everything was said and done and Peter patiently went over as much about the car as I wanted him to that night. He stayed at the dealership until 9:30pm going over the options on the car. The next day after work Peter invited me back to be sure I was comfortable with the car and all of the options and took the time to review all of the things I had questions about. I cannot say enough good things about both men and their collected efforts to help me and guide me through this experience. It has been delightful and I am happy to say I consider them both friends of mine and I plan to keep in touch with them. Because of Peter and Chris, I am in the car I dreamed of and I plan to continue to be a customer of Towson and Bel Air BMW! I just hope they will both be there in another 5 years when I get the itch again for another car! Thank you again Peter and Chris for all of your efforts and patience with me. In my search for a pre-owned BMW that eventually turned into a purchase of a new car, I dealt with several dealerships. BMW of Towson was by far the most customer oriented and ended up getting my business. Bo Brand found the car I wanted within hours of when I contacted him (unlike his competitors who took several days)right before he was leaving for vacation. While away he seamlessly handed off the follow-through to Bill Kasper who put the transaction together.It also became evident at the time of closing that the BMW of Towson staff including the finance manager, Tom Husson, had a genuine interest in automobiles and very knowledgeable of their product. They weren't just selling cars..Although we live 60 miles from Towson, we will be going back to them when we buy our next car.

So far we have had the unpleasant experience working with our salesman Rob. As was written in review before he is not interested in the customer at all. He sold us a new X3 and has taken no interest in helping us after the sale. He only returns phone calls and emails after I have gone to his sales manager. When we received the car the without all the things that we paid for and have been working to get them ever since. It is doubtful we would have been told that the locking lugs needed to be installed had I not pointed it out. My main concern is lack customer service after the sale. I had better service after I bought a 2003 Ranger from the Ford dealer. This has been a terrible car buying experience mainly due to our salesman. The dealership is going to have to work hard to get me to reconsider my opinion about them.I amending some of my earlier comments as the sales team has gone out of their way to smooth things over. Both of the sales managers, Ric and Chris also Rob, our salesman have taken the time to rectify the situation. As of now I have no complaints. I truly commend them on making the effort to work out the problem. This proves that they take the customer seriously and will work to make things right. I went in because the sunroof on my 04 X5 stuck open on the back pane. Jason called me a few hours after dropping it off to tell me it need the cassette replaced. The right track was broken in 2 places. He told me they could disable the roof and lock it down. I asked several times if it would be locked down. After getting my X5 back the two panes that make up the sunroof were not locked down but were just laying down and popped up every time I closed the door. When he was confronted with this he began a he said I said argument and there was no solving the issue. Dealership before the customer attitude. Pre-judged me and my boyfriend when we walked in. Never let me test drive the car and pulled my credit right away without written consent. Seemed like he wanted to see if we were worth his time or not. Was not willing to negotiate or bring down the price of the vehicle. We were never approached in the lot and we had to go into the showroom and ask to be helped. Got snappy with us at the end, and never followed up with us like the three other dealerships we went to did. He was not a genuine trustworthy employee and we got that feeling right away. I have a 1 1/2 year old 328i hard top convertible that was experiencing interior noise when the top was up. A BMW dealership in York, PA told me that the noise was normal for a convertible. I took the vehicle to Towson BMW and then located the problem and fixed it when promised. I had additional repairs made, I hit a raised man hole cover, and my service advisor called me everyday at 4 pm as promised. I had to take my vehicle in for an oil change today, dealt with a different service advisor, but was equally satisfied. The customer service is outstanding. I don't use the term "outstanding" lightly, as I am in the customer service business and I know that "outstanding" service is rare. From my 2 visits, thus far, I would recommend Towson BMW to any BMW owner for their scheduled maintenance or unexpected repairs.

I arrived at the service department on Monday at 7:15 AM and they opened promptly at 7:30 AM. I was helped by my Service Advisor Jim Gugliette immediately. Jim helped check my car and get me in a loaner all before 7:40 AM. I was out the door with a loaner by 7:50 AM. That Monday I was held up in meetings all day and was unable to take the call from my SA Jim. However, he left a detailed message on the issues and the ETA when the work was complete. He told me to expect the work to be completed by Tuesday afternoon and he would follow up and confirm on Tuesday. Tuesday came, and again, I was tied up in meetings throughout the day and could not take his call. Jim again let me a detailed voicemail informing me that the work was done with my car and it could be picked up anytime until 7:00 PM.Picking up was a breeze and took no more than 20 minutes. Overall Jim Gugliette did a great job keeping me informed and being very customer friendly. I will definately use BMW of Towson for Service again.

Mr. Brand is one of the best. His attention to detail, knowledge, and desire to customize the car was very satisfying. I think he could go through every iDrive command with his eyes closed. He went through the entire menu, explained each choice, answering our questions with experienced advice, all the while creating a profile that customized the entire car for my wife. BMWAccess was well explained and fully implemented. His tutelage is like a graduate course in 2.5 hours. We became jaded with the volume of information but in the end- it was just right. He knew he hit it right from the number of times we said wow.Ken Warren handled the closing contract, payment, title, registration, warranty, options, and more that I can't remember. His mastery of documentation is like choreography but was a really smooth well planned flow off paperwork. I have no idea of how many pieces of paper passed through his hands but what went though ours was organized and well explained. I appreciated the soft sell on options and services because we put a lot into ordering the vehicle exactly the way we wanted and he respected that effort.There had to be at least a dozen others who participated in preparing our car, please convey to our thanks to them for a job well done. The followup call after purchase really showed you cared.The car is much better than we hoped. It was instantly more comfortable than any other car we have had. Over the past 10-15 years I had stopped by and tried to deal with Towson BMW. I never had success due to rude treatment and lack of salesman/manager follow up.I went elsewhere and bought 3 times. Something good has happened, as my recent trip proved to be a winner. David Borum, with whom I had dealt at another dealership, is friendly professional and most of all extremely knowledgable about the product he sells. Two test drives, a short search of inventory and my "stop buy" ended in my transferring all of the goodies from the trunk of my old car to my new ride. Please allow me to share my most recent experience with you. On October 11, 2010 I purchased a previously onwed vehicle from Mini of Baltimore Co., a dealership which is onwed and operated by BMW of Towson. I must say while finalizing my purchase I discovered that some of the employees at this location were not as professional as I assumed them to be. Taking into concideration in todays economy not to many people are coming in to a dealership and purchasing vehicles out right. It was at one moment I started to walk out of the dealership and spend my hard earn money else where. After a long round of dicussion I decided to make the purchase. Note that this vehicle was to be used for business purposes. I had to meet several Maryland State requirements in order to use this vehicle for business purposes and while attempting to meet these requirement I had to have the vehicle re-inspected. It was at that moment I was informed by the mechanic that the vehicle failed the inspection. He advised me of a number of mechanical problems with the car and stated that this would be an extremely costly repair job. It was at that moment he advised me to take the car back to the place of purchase and show them failed inspection sheet. I responded back to Mini of Baltimore to advise them of this issue. Once at this location I requested to speek with the sales manager. Minutes late a gentleman approached me to inquire what was the problem? I advised him of the issue at hand. He then stated that he would need to pull the purchase order and advise his general manager of the issue. As I stood by awaiting for his return a gentleman wearing a black suit walked over and asked if I was being helped? I replied, "Yes sir, thank you." Minutes later the same gentleman return with the sales manager. It was at that moment I learned that the gentleman in black suit was the general manager of Towson Automotive, Inc., Mr. Michael Coleman. We discussed the mechanical problems with the vehicle and afterwards Mr. Coleman had the car brought around to the service bay where his chief mechanic re-inspected the vehicle and discovered the same problems that the other mechanic had noted on the failed inspection sheet. Mr. Coleman return and escorted me to the service bay area where they pointed out the problems. It was at that moment Mr. Coleman assured me that this matter would be address as soon as possible. He stated that due to the holiday approaching within the next couple of days they would not be able to contact the garage who conducted the original inspection. But I assure you that I will contact you that Monday after Thanksgiving. That Monday I recieved a call from Mr. Coleman in reference to have the repairs done to my car. I advised him that this vehicle was being used as a transport vehicle for my company and I would need a replacement vehicle similar to the large luxury sedan inwhich I purchased to continue with my business oligations. Mr. Coleman advised me not worry. The following day I responded to BMW of Towson where I met with the chief service technician, Mr. Saneman. He stated that Mr. Coleman advised him of this matter and to make sure that all things be address. Mr. Saneman had one of his workers transport me to a rent a car company so that I could select a car that met my business needs. Note that BMW of Towson picked up the cost for this rental. Later that evening Mr. Coleman contacted me via telephone to inquire how things went today at the dealership? I informed him that things went well today, Mr. Saneman was very professional, as well as the gentleman who drove me to the rent a car company. He replied, "I'm glad to hear that Mr. Robinson." "I will contact you later." Within the next few days I recieved a call from Mr. Saneman advising me that the repairs to my car had been completed and I could pick it up when ever I'm available. That day Mr. Coleman phoned me once again to make sure I satisfied with the service inwhich they supplied. I told Mr. Coleman that I was extremely satisfied with his services and I'm greatful for the level of professionalism inwhich BMW of Towson has displayed. As a retired police officer and now a new business owner, I truly understand the importance of a great customer relationship. To provide a high quality service to the community is the seal of good business. Very uninterested, unfriendly,sales person. I was looking for another car, mine was in their shop for repairs So, I asked who was a good salesperosn and he was recommended. Isaac needs some sales training, and human contact, to see the needs of customers, not his. When my car was repaired, I asked for a trade in quote, and it was very low, and I understoo why, but he didn't even make an effort to pull me in, and sell me a car, by asking to come by and see him for other buying options. Honestly, the level of service is unbelievable at Towson BMW. The staff is terrific and my experience has prompted my family members to consider buying a BMW. I did not have an appointment but the service department really helped me out! The top on my z4 would not go back up and they were very accommodating. This service department is terrific! I told my family and friends about it and they were so impressed. My sister is looking for a new SUV and is actually looking at BMWs now after hearing about my experience with Towson BMWs service department. I walked right up to the counter and my paperwork was already waiting for me. The cashier was professional and very fast. My car was returned washed and vacuumed. It was a nice touch since I was planning to wash it anyway. Towson BMW just saved me the effort :) I was expecting to rent a car so the loaner was a treat. It was a nice car and a joy to drive.

Very professional operation. I wouldn't even consider going somewhere else for BMW service. They have thought of all the customer service details that make the experience comfortable. The work itself has never been an issue. People seemed genuinely concerned that my experience is pleasant and my service has value. And most importantly, they provide free bagels and coffee.

Northwest BMW takes the cake, Towson Service is the worst we've ever experienced as a BMW owner. The phone tree doesn't work and they do not call back their customers when messages are left for service. We called service for a loaner after our car had to be towed starting at 6PM left 3 messages and by the time we got a secretary to find an actual person it was 7:03 at which time we were promptly told that service/loaner closed 3 minutes ago we'd need to take a cab home with no loaner.

My service advisor Stephane Grabina was very helpfull and answered all of my questions. I am aware that I paid a premium for my services but I shopped around and found that compared to other dealers in the area they where more than reasonable. I value certain things and one of them is convenience I pay for premium service I drive a premium car and I expect premium service and premium service is what I recieved including a BMW loaner car and a complimentary car wash and vacuum.

This is the worst Service Department I have had the displeasure to deal with. A change in management had made servicing my car there a terrible experience. They are not competent and failed to fix my car properly several time. To add insults to injury, they treat people with non-BMW extended warranties as second rate customers.The attitude of the entire Service Department is unfriendly and aggressive. They do no listen to customers and act extremely superior and are very arrogant. This dealership has really taken a turn for the worse in the last couple of years. It used to be a wonderful place to come.I would avoid going there like I avoid the plague.

After owning at least twenty-five cars I have to say that this is my worst dealership experience of my life. Had a lemon X5 that was going through brakes every 1500 or so miles. They couldn't fix it and said it must be my driving and would no longer honor the warranty. Keep in mind that I also have two 5 series sedans that have never had brake issues and one has 60,000 miles on it. Absolutely disgraceful.

Everything is fine, until you have a problem with service at Towson. They accept no responsibility for anything that they have done wrong, and basically blow you off. It is a real shame that BMW would allow such a lousy dealer to represent them. Don't be lured in by their promise of a free loaner...this is done just to get you in the door. There are plenty of other good BMW dealerships, Towson is not one of them.

This is the worst BMW dealer I have ever experienced. I had my car serviced in Illinois and Florida, and never had any problems. However, after 2 visits to Towson BMW, I am convinced this place conducts fradulent business. To make a long story short, I took my BMW for "Inspection II", and ended up paying $3,500. Their "loaner" offer seems to be a bait, and they will try to keep your car as long as possible and do as much unnecessary work as possible. I wish someone had warned me of this place!!!

You can be surethey will take the roundabout way to make a repair, i.e. they will replace parts that are not causing your problem until the finally DISCOVER the real problem. Of course you will be responsible for all these unnecessary repairs and will get no apology and certainly no refund.

I have never before experienced such rude customer service representatives in my life. My service technician never contacted me about my car; I was constantly tracking him down for updates. When I addressed this with the service manager, he accused me of lying. I was guaranteed many times that the car would be finished the next day and it never was. When I finally got the car back, they hadn't even fixed the problem. The loaner manager had a horrible attitude and was extremely unprofessional and rude. I would never return to this pathetic excuse for a service center. BMW of Towson is a deplorable representation of the BMW brand.

I had my M3 in for an alignment which was completed to my specs in a timely fashion. My car was promptly returned. No complaints! Bill in parts has always been very helpful. He is always friendly, takes time to make sure I'm getting the parts I need and always gives me the best prices. He's active in the local BMW Club and has made a name for himself as a quality guy. The sales process was fine. Most of the sales people have come from Northwest BMW and really know their stuff. The price was good and their selection is excellent. HOWEVER--- The service department is something else. They advertise that you can just walk in with no appointment, but that is not quite true . They send mailers suggesting you get an oil change before that indicated on your service meter, but you can't get it done unless you come in early and leave it. I have had several problems with my car ,and they rarely fix it on the first try. They usually don't have the correct part on hand, even for a service recall. The free loaner is the only thing that makes me put up with this. You can buy your car here, but you're better off servicing elsewhere!

Last year, armed with internet based info, got an acceptable deal on a Euro delivery 330i, with only a minimum of pointless (on his part) negotiation attempts from the sales manager. Everything went like clockwork, had a fantastic time in Europe, and the car arrived at Towson as predicted. The service organization has always been extremely friendly and polite, loaner cars available on reasonably short notice when car needed servicing, and the several faults that needed fixing were deemed warrantiable without me even having to ask. Free courtesy carwashes as well (but for the lot porter's tip). Basically, my experience with this dealership has been exemplary.
