I am from Buffalo Ny and this is the first time buying a car over the internet and trading in my 328xi . I had about a million questions and was very nervous because I would be driving 5 1/2 hours to pick up my car. Michele Grim was amazing and very patient! I swear everyday I had about 20 annoying questions and she answered all of them and right away. I wanted pictures of the car and she sent them from her personal cell. I cant thank her enough for making this experience easier than expected. I came in first thing Sat morning and my car and paperwork were ready to sign and go! I absolutely love my certified preowned 528 xi. Thank you so much, I was so impressed that I would take that drive and come back again because it was such a pleasant experience.

I went to this dealer having purchased from their Mercedes counterpart. I saw a vehicle online and wanted to test drive it, having decided to trade in my Mercedes. First, no one wanted to take the time out to help me. Finally, one person helped me but they could not locate the car and the they left me standing in the middle of the show room for other customers who walked in. Stunned by the treatment, I complained and a manager located the car (it was extremely dirty) and took me for a test drive. They valued my Mercedes very low and again I was left hanging as they left me to help someone else. They did not seem to care whether they sold a car on their lot or not. I left vowing to never set foot in Masano's BMW again. I did end up purchasing a car that day elsewhere. Such a shame that a BMW dealer would treat potential buyers this way. I have never experienced such treatment at any car dealer ever. I do eventually want to purchase a BWM but I will never buy it here.


2006 Maserati Spyder - Buyer Beware

I wanted to purchase a 2006 Maserati Spyder they had for sale. The salesman portrayed this vehicle as being in great condition which convinced me to obtain a pre purchase inspection from Maserati at a cost of $300. The Maserati inspection revealed that the car was in need of $14,000.00 worth of repairs. Then they has the audacity to want a copy of the pre purchase inspection report for FREE! When I requested they meet me in the middle and pay for half of the cost of the report I never heard back from them!

Please understand, I am not the type for writing reviews but only do so when completely compelled because of outstanding service or remarkably, offensive behavior. This is the second time in a year that I am compelled to speak of BMW Reading because of outstanding service as they actually took personal concern for my well being. Do to the complex nature of my inquiry to them, I will not expound but I will say this, without any regard for themselves, their time or their monetary gain, they just stepped in to solve problems that I could not. Not only did they go the extra mile over a year after I encountered a problem, which by the way was not even their fault, but they did so with enthusiasm and initiative.In brief, if you are out looking for a dealership to be part of your team, stop looking and take the risk of connecting with this team. At the end of the day you wont only want them on your team, you'll actually want to be part of theirs!I have no idea where BMW of reading finds their people. I don't know if they just hire the most passionate people they can find or if working there turns them into those people, but the individuals who served me these two times over this past year have convinced me to not dare look elsewhere when buying again!Thanks guys! Super blessed by all of you!

My husband and I could not have asked for a better experience! Rob Koch was fantastic, knowledgeable, and kind! From the receptionist staying on the line to help through my first, the kindness when teaching me about the car's features, and the final paperwork process - everyone was delightful. We received a very fair price on our trade and an excellent value on our BMW. The dealership even took the time to clean the wheels inside and out! We will definitely be long term customers. Went looking for a used car I had seen on this site. Once there was informed car was at shop getting a minor scratch fixed but they would call me Monday to let me know when it would b available. Never received call. 3 weeks later I emailed about same car and was asked to come in for test drive the next day. Arrived at dealer only to find out car had just been sent to shop to fix minor scratch, same story as 3 weeks before. I drove there ONE HOUR because they told me car was available for test drive!! They said they were sorry and there was nothing they could do. I emailed the person that coordinated the test drive and did not get a reply, not even an apology. This has been the worst customer service is experience ever!! They didnt seem to care i drove there for one hour after a very long day at work only to be turned away. Needless to say, Im no longer interested in doing business w this dealer.

Purchased a used 2009 Lexus RX from BMW of Reading. Should have done a pre-purchase inspection elsewhere, but Chad Wallace said it was already done. Chad Wallace said that the car had passed PA inspection, however this was fraud and incorrect information. When I took the car to Lexus and to a Lexus-authorized repair shop, the same report came back: brakes, rotors, and shocks all needed to be replaced immediately. They decided to withhold this information from me and I am now in a legal process against them. I followed up with Chad Wallace who never got back to me and then again to the head of customer relations, Phil Franco. It's embarrassing how this company handles service. I do not recommend this dealership.

I normally don't post reviews or discuss my personal business online but this dealership and its staff is truly deserving.This was my first BMW purchase and the overall experience, personal attention and transparency I received from start to finish was superior in every way. I cannot thank Chad Wallace and Dave Horringan at BMW of reading for their help. They worked with me in every way possible way to get me where I wanted and went way beyond my expectations. For me, the dealership experience excelled the BMW brand am will 100% be returning and referring my friends and family for future business. If you live in the Philly/PA market and youre looking for the best value and service on a BMW without any hesitation you have to call BMW of Reading and experience it for yourself.

I was searching for an M5 locally in the Washington DC area without much success, even one that I've purchased in the past. I expanded my search and BMW Reading had the right color and options. From the moment I was put into contact with Rob Koch, the buying process was simple and enjoyable. Rob was straight forward with the pricing, which was significantly lower than any pricing in my area. He laid out everything I needed so when it was time to make the trip for delivery, all I had to do was sign a few documents. Dave from financing was great, as he made the process simple and quick. Ben showed me all tech features of the car with as much detail as needed. He was quick to respond to questions I had over email the next day. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better buying experience. If I'm in the market for another BMW in future, BMW Reading is my go to dealer. And I would recommend to anyone to make the 2.5hr drive from DC area. You won't find better pricing or service.

Every visit to BMW of Reading is an absolute pleasure. Rob Koch has been my Sales Advisor for years, and he never disappoints. Rob answers emails/texts/calls at any time - whether he is at work or not. That level of service and commitment is what makes Rob and BMW far superior to all others. Dave Horrigan is great to work with, and makes the Financing end of the deal easy. Ben insured that I understood how to navigate and use all of the features of my new vehicle and did not make me feel rushed in any way. This is the third BMW I've purchased at BMW of Reading, and I cannot say enough about the attention and support I receive from Rob and everyone at the dealership.

Dealing with Rob Koch and BMW of Reading was the most pleasant car buying experience I've ever had. I drove 250 miles to test drive a 2011 M3 that BMW of Reading had for sale. Prior to making the trip I had been in contact with a sales representative, Rob Koch, and we had agreed on a price range for my trade-in, depending on the actual condition of the vehicle once I arrived. I was a little apprehensive that once I had made the trip I would be low-balled on the trade-in value, and I'd be in an unenviable bargaining position as I was 250 miles from home and if I decided not to take their offer the entire day would have been wasted. I was pleasantly surprised when Rob offered me the top value in the range we had agreed upon. On top of that Rob and the team at BMW of Reading threw in a 2 year / 70,000 total mile warranty. To me this shows respect for the customer and a level of fairness that is hard to find. This level of respect is something I reciprocate with loyalty. The next M car I buy, and it will be an M, will be bought from BMW of Reading. I don't care if I have to drive 500 miles.

This post is more of a public thank you than a mere review. I recently rolled off the lot at BMW of Reading in a 2006 pre-own and I could not be more pleased nor impressed by the level of service and vision I was offered! I credit my experience of this high standard to Michele Grim, who has been serving as an expert in BMW sales for many years. I test drove the vehicle I was interested in before it was released for sale. It needed detailing, inspection and some other work. Michele personally took ownership of overseeing the task, insisting that it meet the highest standards. When I returned to purchase the car, I honestly could not believe the condition it had been restored to. Being a 2006 3-series it was not a certified pre-own but even by the closest of scrutiny, one would not have known the difference.The vehicle I purchased was in impeccable visual condition and it was excellently priced, having the lowest published rate for a vehicle of its kind (on the whole east coast) that didn't have a reconstructed title. When I started looking for a car, my primary objective was to acquire a vehicle that I could drive off the lot being proud of. When I left BMW of Reading, I was driving something better, something that Michele was proud of!If your looking for a salesperson who you can be certain that is on your team . . . give Michele a call. My experience buying a car here was superb. I am an out of town customer, and notified that I may be late for my appointment due to the travel distance. They had the car I was interested in waiting out front, waiting for me to take it on a test drive. The experience was flawless-- my trade-in appraised at higher than KBB, and the price of the vehicle was extremely fair. My salesperson coached me through the entire process and made it a painless and even enjoyable process. I never expected to enjoy buying a car as much as I did here. I would recommend this dealership to anyone who has a need for a vehicle new or used.

When I walked into the dealership knowing that we wanted to look at a 2008 Nissan, I was definitely intimidated - obviously, I was not the target demographic nor the typical customer for this particular dealership. As it turns out, this was an unwarranted feeling, because Chris treated us with complete respect. It didn't matter that we were not looking at the latest models, he took the time to make sure that we knew everything we could about the car. I was incredibly impressed with the treatment I received and would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone, regardless of what type of car you're looking for.

I recently visited BMW of Reading to look at an M6 coupe they had listed for sale. Initially I was told all salespeople were busy, but since I did not have an appointment I expected this. I took a stroll around the lot looking for the M6 and was soon joined by Salesman "Chris". He was very pleasant and advised me that the car I was interested in was at a different lot and he would go get it. I waited about 25 minutes, and when Chris showed up with the car I realized he had just dug it out of the snow, cleaned it off and brought it for me to see. He could have easily dismissed me and said the car was unavailable but he actually grabbed a shovel and dug it out so I could check it out. And he knew that I was just looking, not buying! That's service...the type of service I'll remember when I'm ready to buy in a couple of months. Thanks Chris!

I recently purchased a certified Pre-Owned BMW from BMW of Reading. Chad Wallace was my sales agent/client advisor and I could not be happier with the service he provided. I made arrangements over the phone and set an appointment for the purchase and when I arrived he was waiting with all of the required paperwork and the vehicle ready for an inspection and test drive. He spent a good deal of time explaining key features of the iDrive system and helped us get started with the basics. There was zero stress involved and at no point were we pressured into purchasing anything we did not want. The entire process was pretty painless. I'd go out of my way to buy here again.

I live in Wilmington Delaware, have at least 3 BMW dealerships within a 20 mile radius of me, and I happily drove to Reading to purchase my X1 from BMW of Reading. As I was researching my vehicle and comparing price quotes from the various dealerships, Reading not only offered me the best pricing, but also provided me with a friendly salesman who provided prompt, concise communication. Pricing was one factor, but the overall experience is why BMW of Reading was my obvious choice. On another note; I did encounter some "High Brow" dealerships which was very off-putting, and BMW of Reading is definitely not one of them.

I don't usually write online reviews but I am actually happy to make an exception and want to review this dealership and especially my sales advisor, Chad Wallace.I had previously purchased 7 BMWs from my local dealer (5 miles form my house) but when looking for my new car, decided to give BMW of Reading a call. I am glad I did. Chad was upfront and gave me avery fair price right off the bat. The dealership arranged to change a preexisting order for me so I could get my car earlier and was willing to do a courtesy trade as I had my own buyer for my trade in. My local dealer was reluctant to do so. Chad was able to apply my BMWFS discount coupon and promptly answered all my questions and addressed all of my concerns w/o complaint. My car was delivered as promised and in gorgeous shape. Overall, this car buying experience has been one of the best I've ever had. I have already referred friends to Chad and recommend him and this dealership to anybody looking for a fair, professional, buying experience.

I feel I was tricked into buying and anti-theft insurance. I was told it was included on all the cars they sell, which led me to believe it was included in the cost. They rushed me through the paperwork. I discovered later that they never gave me a bill of sale and when I requested it, I discovered I was charge $449 for it. I requested my money back and was told no, I had signed the contract. Don't let them rush you and carefully review all paperwork. I will never buy another car from this dealership.

Cannot stress enough how fantastic my car buying process was from BMW of Reading. From beginning to end, I was given top of the line, professional service. We arrived without making an appointment on Saturday. All sales members were busy with clients, but rather than having us sit and wait, the product genius (Ben) let us test drive a vehicle and was able to answer all of the questions we had regarding the car. As soon as we were finished, we were introduced to Rob Koch (sales person). Rob was professional, informed, and listened to what we were looking for. He stayed with us after the dealership had closed for the day to ensure all of our questions were answered (almost an hour after closing). We were given a great trade in value, and a great price for a CPO X1. We came back a few days later for delivery, and what a breeze it was. All paperwork had already been printed and organized. Delivery took less than two hours which included signing all papers, and an in-depth tutorial on all functions of the vehicle (which Rob was fantastic at explaining).My wife and I purchased a CPO X1 and could not be happier. They offer competitive prices, outstanding service, and was most definitely worth the hour drive from Philadelphia. I would highly recommend this dealership! Definitely recommending to both family and friends.

Overall I was very pleased with my experience at this dealership. Our salesperson, Michele Grim was extremely helpful, knowledgable, and diligent in helping us with our car buying process, even answering emails while she was sick and after hours. We bought a 2006 BMW X5 with only 57k miles. The price beat every other dealership with a comparable vehicle. The staff was very friendly, the facility was very clean, and we couldn't be happier with how smoothly everything went with our purchase!

If you've ever wanted to walk into a dealership and feel right at home, this is the place. From my Salesperson - Michele to the Sales Manager - Phil, Finance Manager, Service Advisor - Steve and John my PDI Mechanic I've never felt a group of people so dedicated to making my purchase experience go so smoothly and pain free. I shopped my deal across three states by telephone and wound up buying in Reading. The Dealership is small and inventory not as extensive as larger dealers BUT they make up for it in so many other ways. They are of course able to Dealer trade or order specifically what you want, so no worries there. If you want to save yourself days of aggravation, proceed directly to Reading and be sure to tell Michele and Phil I said "Hi". I'm confident you'll enjoy your purchase as much as I have.

By far the BEST experience purchasing a vehicle!!! It was worth taking the 50 minute drive to Reading!! My sales rep. (Chad Wallace) met each and everyone of my needs and was very prompt in getting back to me when I had questions or even a request. The rest of the staff was very attentive and pleasant to deal with! Having just purchased a used Toyota Rav4 from this dealership last week, I highly recommend that you have your own mechanic review any used vehicle before purchasing. My son bought his first vehicle from this dealership (based on my recommendation to buy from a reputable dealership, rather than a third party), and after just 28 miles (the drive home) we noticed the car smoked significantly when started after sitting in the driveway for 5 days. Immediately upon noticing this, we contacted the dealership and were informed that the vehicle passed their service review / inspection, and although confirming that it smoked on cold starts (we returned the vehicle immediately so they could check it out), they indicated it was a used vehicle and therefore they had no responsibility for any repairs based on their limited warranty. Specifically, they said we should have noticed it when we test drove it. Interesting enough, the vehicle was sitting out front both times we test drove it, so it wasn't a cold start. You can decide if this was by design or not. I have my own opinion.In any case, they told us to bring it in for a diagnostic, and after leaving it for the week, and confirming it was smoking, they wouldn't agree to evaluate the problem further. When asked about their diagnostic, they said they did a "visual inspection". I have entered a 5 in all categories that were under the control of the sales representative I worked with: Benjamin Parmelee. This man went above and beyond to ensure I went home in the car I wanted. His perseverance and innovation in the face of my many blunders (waiting until a Saturday to set up insurance, not bringing the right check, etc.) was uncanny. Time and time again Ben went to bat for me, entering his manager's office as my advocate and convincing him not to let the car go. At the end of the day, when my ride home became unavailable, Ben drove me 2 hours and 30 minutes back to Annapolis Maryland. This man is a dedicated professional who consistently demonstrated a willingness to put customer care before personal gain. You would be severely misguided if you picked up the phone to call BMW of Reading and you did not ask for Ben.

I recently purchased my first BMW at BMW of Reading from Rob Koch. I wanted one of the new M235i's, so I sat down with Rob and he helped me order exactly everything I wanted on the car. Even though it was a brand new car that wasn't available at any dealers yet, Rob was able to describe everything I was looking at and make sure everything was perfect before placing the order. Throughout the process of the vehicle being built to leaving Germany, to arriving in the US, Rob offered me many status updates via email to let me know what stage the car had entered. When the car finally arrived, Rob sent me photos of both the truck unloading the car and the car itself sitting on the lot. This was a great touch to me; I doubt all BMW Client Advisers take the time to put in that extra gesture.The car arrived in the morning, and despite the dealer being EXTREMELY busy, Rob managed to get the vehicle ready for delivery that same afternoon! Rob was just as excited about the car as I was when I arrived to pick it up and he spent an hour going over every single control, detail and aspect of the car. On top of everything else, Rob did manage to get me a great discount on the vehicle. Despite being a brand new vehicle that is in high demand, he still worked out a great price for me. My parents have been going to him for years for their BMWs and I hope to continue the tradition.

Ben Parmalee - I had 10AM appt 3/24 and he was a no show. Ben is a bad reflection on your dealership. I almost walked out nad went to BMW Sun Motors in Mechanicsburg, Pa. The front desk ladies could have been more helpful. They said Ben wast in yet and let me sit there. I think he showed up at 1pm. They should have immediately goten someone else. I had to ask to speak to another sales person and Rick stepped up. I was there to buy a vehicle. I had been going to Faulkner BMW in Lancaster but both Cindy Stoner and myself were not treated well and I was insuulted by the sales person so I walked out aS did Cindy when she was there. It's official. I will not buy a car from this dealer. I have ventured to this dealer a few times without purchasing a car because the overall experience is unacceptable. In some cases you don't want to be bombarded at the door but this dealership takes relaxed buying environment to a completely different level. No one speaks to you upon arrival, you have to search for a sales person and once you're greeted the attitude is very "standoffish". As if you owe them something. I am a Reading, Pa native and being subjected to lies from a local dealer - wow. I attempted to buy a car a year ago, called in and spoke with a dealer, they advised the car I wanted was on the boat and should be here any day and that in would receive a call to test drive / note; I still haven't heard a word. Not a good experience at all. If you don't walk in with a briefcase of money they WILL prejudge you. Beware. Very unfortunate since I've purchased from Masano before. I didn't have these issues both times I purchased from Mercedes Benz right down the street.

We walked out with not just one, but TWO, BMWs! Rick Lauter was our Client Advisor. He was extremely professional, helpful, and patient. He helped us find a 328xi that fit everything I was looking for within our price range. He was also able to find my husband an X1 in the color and "package" that served our needs. Rick is an outstanding sales person that I highly recommend for new or returning customers! Phil Franco is the Manager at BMW of Reading. Phil was able to accommodate our financial situation and work with us to get both of the cars within a price range that fit our budget. He made us feel comfortable and we knew we were getting the best deal around town. We left BMW of Reading completely satisfied with our purchases. My experience with Chad Wallace and BMW of Reading was excellent. Chad was very professional both in the negotiation and when I arrived. My transaction involved a purchase and a trade and I felt that we negotiated a fair deal wihout the duress sometimes experienced when buying a new car. This dealer has a high standard of customer service and I was lucky to have found them. We negotiated the deal over the phone, I received excellent finance rates, the car was in impeccable condition when delivered and it was worth the 4 hour drive to deal with Chad and his team. I would highly recommend Chad to anyone looking to purchase a BMW. Chad spent the time to give me an excellent working knowledge of the vehicle (my first BMW) and I was able to enjoy satellite radio and blue tooth phone calls on the way home. I was fully informed of the extended service plans and warranty plans available, but was never pressured to purchase. Wow. This was the best experience I've ever had purchasing a car. I did all of the research online and chatted with the salesperson both in email and phone. I called to make an appointment to see a car on their lot (90 minutes away). Later that day, a friendly, knowledgeable, and diligent sales representative Michele called about putting a refundable deposit down to prevent the car from being sold out from underneath me (as had happened to me two weeks earlier). Upon arriving at the dealership, Michele and the staff were very helpful and accommodating as we proceeded with a test drive. Upon inspection of the car, we found an item requiring repair. Rather than wait days for a part to be ordered, and to prevent a second trip, the dealer cut me a check for the amount of the part and labor so I could have the work done locally. These are the basic things that a dealership should focus on delivering for the customer to ensure satisfaction with every sale, and BMW of Reading definitely came through. The rest of the buying process went smoothly, including financing and the purchase of an additional warranty. For my first solo car-buying venture, the whole process was about as no-nonsense as I could have hoped for. There were no forceful sales pitches or uncomfortable, frustrating haggling sessions. I got what I feel like was a fair deal for the vehicle, and I would definitely consider buying again from BMW of Reading.

Excellent, excellent, excellent experience. I purchased my vehicle sight unseen from Michigan and flew to BMW of Reading in PA to pick it up. Despite all of the horror stories I have heard about this process, I must say mine could NOT have gone better. Michele and Phil were fantastic to work with, they sent a car (at their own expense) to pick me up from Philadelphia airport over an hour away from the dealer, the car was in thoroughly amazing shape as pictured, the price was great, AND despite the fact it was not a certified pre-owned, when I noticed a tear in the leather they did not hesitate to call one of their specialists and fix this for me ASAP. Profusely apologetic for the delay, they took care of it right away so I could get on my way home.I live in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan where my local dealer is Erhard BMW of Bloomfield. The sales department is terrible, they didn't know the first thing about BMW's, nor why one would want a rear wheel drive, manual. BMW of Reading, and without a doubt Michele who I spent much of my time speaking with and who was my sales agent, knew an immense amount about BMW, why one buys them, complained with me about the lack of manual drive vehicles, and had a vast knowledge and passion for the cars she sold. A very pleasant and seamless experience from begining to end. I began to look for a new car on line and quickly realized significant price advantages with Reading BMW and I compared prices with 7 other regional BMW dealers. I just had my most pleasant car buying experience in 35 years, thanks to Chad Wallace at BMW of Reading, PA. I was skeptical, expecting the typical high-pressure, aggresive salesman to accost me as soon as I got out of the car, but what I found was a relaxed, friendly, no-pressure but very professional atmoshere at the dealership. I was an out of town buyer, and my trip to pick up the car turned into an over-night stay due to a delay from my insurance company in providing the required documentation. Chad assisted me in finding lodging and food, and even picked me up the next morning after I had returned my rental car clear on the other side of town. I recently brought my 2009 X5 to the BMW of Reading for routine service. I informed the service department that all the tail lights were filling up with water when I wash my car. I even showed them the photographs I took of the tail lights with water in them. I also informed them that my front left caliper was all rusted and would like to have it replaced since the vehicle is still under warranty. Later the same day I received a call from the service department with an update, I asked them if the items in question had been replaced and the answer I received was that the caliper working fine and would not be replaced even though it was rusty. Of the four tail lights that had water in them, they were only going to replace two, because they claim that the other two were okay, even though I showed them pictures with water in all four of them. A few years ago the same dealership sold me an extended warranty on my 7 series and when the radiator failed, they informed me that the warranty company was no longer in business and I would have to pay for the work out of my own pocket. The dealership would not stand by the warranty that they sold me and that they profited from.Its the same dealership that put a large dent in my car during a scheduled service and then wanted me to pay for the body shop repairs.I should have know better. Take your BMW to Daniel's in Lehigh County. Much better service!

I found a car I absolutely loved on Cars.com, and immediately made a point to meet with Phil to take a test drive. After about two hours of trying to operate the convertible top (it wouldn't work), he apologized and we made an appointment to meet again. There were several phone calls and emails in between. On our second meeting (three hours this time, including an ENTIRE hour sitting at Phil's desk, waiting for him to come back from speaking with a manager about pricing), the top still wouldn't work, so he sent it for repairs and we put together some pricing in the meantime. Two weeks had now passed. When the car came back from the repair shop, I submitted insurance information and a credit check so I could buy the car that day. I called Tom Masano's main customer service line to verify credit approval, when I was told the car was sold the day before. After several appointments, phone calls, and emails, this dealership saw me as just another possible commission. They can call you ten times a day when you might buy one of their cars, but they can't give you the decency of a phone call so you know not to waste your time coming in. This is sales, it is the nature of the business and they can sell to anyone they want, I understand. However, when you have a serious customer, you need to follow up. After this experience and the clear impression that I am nothing more than an opportunity for a good profit, I will take my business somewhere that will communicate with me and offer genuine customer service. Tom Masano was a complete waste of my time. Better yet, the car was sold three days ago and it's still listed on Cars.com and on their website inventory. Way to go, Tom Masano.

Since we had a positive experience with our first purchase (Jeep Overland) from Tom Masano group, we chose BMW of Reading. Bottom line, their price can't be beat. We did extensive online research comparing prices and we were not disappointed in giving our business to this dealer. Calvin Jones provided satisfactory customer service. I began my process towards purchasing a car by using www.cars.com. The Masano dealership caught my eye. After I selected my criteria for what I wanted in a car, I sorted by price. Masano wasn't the least expensive, but they were in the Top Ten. I then went to their web site and was impressed with the layout and the information it provided. I decided to give them a try and I called to arrange an appointment. I dealt with a very professional customer care representative in Stephanie Stofka. She booked the appointment, answered any basic questions I had, and followed up with e-mail. I went to the dealership location where I met my client advisor, Chad Wallace. He answered every question I had in a professional, knowledgeable manner. And I had a lot of questions. When it came to price negotiation, there was none. Gone are the days car buyers and car sellers haggle over the price. Instead, Chad showed me a way I could save money. It's a way that every car buyer should listen to and utilize. He saved me $1200. Chad had to go a second round with my wife two days after my initial meeting with him, and he extended the same courtesy, professionalism and knowledge with her. My wife and I decided to make the purchase and Chad made the process easy. We decided to finance to pay for the car, and met Joel Powers, one of the finance managers. He was great at explaining everything about the agreement to my wife and I. The overall experience was pleasurable, and without a doubt my wife and I are excited about our new investment. I recommend this dealership... my internet purchase experience was excellent. Calvin Jones, my client adviser, was terrific.I live in a small town and drive 5000 miles per year. My targeted vehicle was a newer BMW with high mileage (over 150,000). Tom Masano was the lowest price on the net. I was very pleased by the quality of service, it felt like I was a new car purchaser. This is my third internet purchase and I will do it again, however, be prepared for surprises. Calvin did a good job over the phone describing the vehicle but the buyer will always find issues others overlook. In my case there were the expected small dents, paint chips and scrapes expected with a high mileage car but that don't show up in a photo. There was also a check engine light that popped up because the car had been sitting for a while. Tom Masano diagnosed the light as a battery cable and cleared the light for free and it hasn't come back yet (fingers crossed).I rented a Hertz car, one way. Fortunately the BMW was what I expected so Calvin drove me a few blocks down the street and we returned the rental car...very easy!I work on my own cars and have spent a few weekends changing all the fluids, filters, trailing arm bushings, cup-holders, cleaning out the sunroof vents, touch-up paint, etc. I would not recommend a high mileage BMW (over 150,000 miles) if you do not work on BMW's yourself.

Unlike the opinion and experience of the "buyer" above me in the comments here, my experience from initial discovery of the vehicle-to email- to phone call- to driving nearly 400 miles roundtrip...was indeed worth it. My saleslady "extraordinaire" was Michele Grim. Michele, as I noted, from my initial conversation was "bend over backwards" helpful. The vehicle was portrayed exactly to what I ultimately purchased. Even had an experience with a minor damaged interior part (they did not hesitate to offer repairs) even being a preowned vehicle. The level of Service is impeccable....I would highly recommend any Tom Mansano Group Dealership...and would STRONGLY encourage you to call and ask for Michele directly!

Too good to be true...except it was true! From the moment I first spoke to BMW of Reading, I knew the experience I was about to have was going to be fantastic. Being a BMW geek, for lack of better terms, in June of 2012, I was set to make my third BMW purchase in the last 18 months. The previous two vehicles I had purchased at another BMW center; however, it was appropriate that for this one (X5 50i), I shop around. Greeted by Karen, Phil, and then introduced to Rob, my experience ordering my car was phenomenal! It far outweighed the experience I had at my previous BMW center. First and foremost, it was a pleasure working with Rob because he is as passionate about BMWs as I am. Since he immediately qualified me as a buyer, there was never any sales pitch, it was simply about what I wanted (needed)and ensuring that I purchased the correct vehicle for my family's needs. Further, Rob was patient with my wife and I even when we had to take a break to feed our 6 week old son (at that time)! Throughout the entire wait for the vehicle (again, this was a custom order), Rob would send me email updates each time the status changed! Having someone pay such close attention to one customers order is incredible! When the vehicle arrived earlier than expected, Rob was quick to ensure that we were slotted for delivery at a convenient time, taking into account our infants schedule. Again, knowing that my expectations were high as far as quality of work (in this case, new car detailing), Rob not only personally ensured that my car was detailed to perfection, but he also kept my vehicle inside the service bay until I arrived, relieving me of any stress that my brand new BMW would be parked outside! When my wife and I arrived to take delivery, the paperwork was all but completed and we sat with Joel to sign the final documents. Joel explained to us the benefits of purchasing tire and wheel insurance (yes, BMW wheels and tires are expensive to replace), and made us comfortable with our purchase. On top of that, he made sure we were in and out of his office in a timely manner, so that my wife could tend to our son. Lastly, Rob went over all the features of our new vehicle and we were on our way! I cannot stress enough how wonderful this car buying experience was. I will be recommending BMW of Reading to anyone who is interested in purchasing a new or used BMW within a wide radius. The best part is that there are already people who are recommending BMW of Reading to customers far away. I purchased a certified pre-owned (CPO) 2009 BMW 328i xDrive in June 2012. I live in the DC area and selected the car after finding it on the BMW CPO website. The car looked great in the photos. I worked with Chad Wallace via both email and phone. He was very responsive to all of my questions and was a pleasure to work with. I asked him to have a closer look at the car on my behalf and let me know if there were any items that I would notice in person that don't come across in the photos. There was an slight imperfection that he found, and he had it buffed out (when I did come up to buy the car, I couldn't see it). Joel Powers handled the closing and he was great; no issues. A concern I had was how out of state registration and plates would be handled. BMW of Reading sells about half of their cars to out of state buyers so they're quite familiar with the process. I left with 30-day Pennsylvania tags. I paid state tax and registration for my state of residence and should receive permanent license plates via the mail shortly (no trip to the DMV required). All in all, I felt the savings were worth the drive. Since the balance of the new vehicle warranty and the BMW CPO warranty are covered at any BMW dealership, there didn't seem to be a compelling reason to buy from my local dealers, which were charging more for similar cars. I will consider doing this again for my next car purchase.

My wife and I came to Reading BMW from Wayne NJ to see a used 2006 330xi. We took it for a test drive and there were several issues with the car. Calvin asked us what did we think and we told him it was a no go. Instead of pushing us to say what would it take he said if you are not sure then don't buy. Most salespeople would not take that approach. He then led us to another used car in the lot a 328xi (2008) and we bought the darn thing. My experience at BMW of Reading was excellent. I had been in contact with another BMW dealer in the Allentown area to lease another car due to my current lease plan expiring. The sales associate did not make any effort in finding the car I wanted and did not return my calls. When I did make contact with the sales associate, it seemed as if he did not want to be bothered. I continued my search on the internet to find the exact BMW I wanted and finally found it. Even though that the Allentown dealer was significantly closer to my home, I contacted BMW of Reading and spoke with Calvin about the car. Within an hour, Calvin contacted me with a great lease quote. Today I am driving the car I found on the internet. Calvin had the car delivered to the dealership in 2 days. WE live in suburban Phila. There are at least 6 BMW dealerships which are closer to us. However, Michelle responded to our email request on the same Sunday as we posted it. Now that's service! It only took about 1 hr & 15 minutes to get to Reading and the experience there made it worthwhile for us to take the ride. They were friendly and provided a "no pressure no hassle" experience. Their prices were a bit better than the local dealerships, and they were willing to work with us in order to get the deal done. My only observation is that this is a smaller (not as fancy) dealership than you would find in the Phila area. They appear to have less inventory than at the larger local dealerships. However they have enough of a selection that you should be able to find a car that fits your needs and budget. WE highly recommend BMW of Reading as a worth your while buying experience.

We live out of state so we took delivery at the BMW Performance Center in Greenville, S.C. I would highly recommend that option and you can take delivery of any BMW there. Accordingly, we did not visit the dealership. All transactions were conducted via email, phone and UPS. However, I have to say the entire process went very smoothly and we were kept well informed as to the status of our transaction. Pricing was very aggressive and the dealer followed up on commitments. While offered, I did not feel pressured to purhcase additional warranties. Calvin and Joel appear to work well as a team. I will reach out to them again next time I purchase a BMW.

As we were waiting to take delivery on our car, there was another couple that we met. This couple was from Devon Hill. As we talked I found out that she and her husband orginally went to Devon Hill BMW and were very disappointed with their service and the fact that they were not willing to work with them. My husband found a car listed as used in EXCELLENT condition and we did our research on the dealership to be sure that we could trust them. We live in a different state and had to pay a transport company to get it to us. We found out on delivery of the car that it had to be jump started to get it onto the truck and the rear window duck taped because it would not stay up. The driver had to jump the car again to get it off of the truck. We took it immediately to our family mechanic and found that there was a piece of carpet in the engine!!! Yes, carpet to soak up the oil! It needs more work to it than we paid for the car and when we showed Phil the detailed list from our mechanic he told me he couldn't do anything about it because we bought it as is. We bought a car for a price we thought was fair as it was advertised in excellent condition, but even poor condition has a mechanically functional engine. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone! Their solution was for me to pay to ship it back and they would refund me the money after they inspected the car. How am I suppose to trust them after what they sold me? Please, make sure you do not trust a dealer just because a majority of their reviews are good! It could be the biggest headache of your life! My goal in rating this dealer is to prevent this from happening to anybody else. If they think they can take advantage of you, they will!

I have contacted this dealer several times by email regarding two separate vehicles and they have not responded at all, which i find very odd given that all other BMW dealerships that i have been dealing with in my search for another BMW have been immediately responsive. i did get a response when i actually called the dealership, and the sales person actually talked me out of buying a particular car, noting that there was front and rear bumper damage that was not noted in the glowing description of it on their website--which was helpful in deciding NOT to drive over two hours to get there. But then my question would be why they would not either a) just fix the damage; or b) be truthful in their advertising and indicate the damage in word and picture. With all the other BMW dealerships out there, this appears to be one to stay away from.

Worse experience ever made. We came to this place to check inventory and we found pre-owned cute car. We literally have to pushed our sale person to start to deal with us, as he give us a favor. He absolutely paid no attention to us, even then deal was done. Week after purchase was made he resend us another papers to sign , because original contract was wrong!!! And after all, we still have no our number plate and registration (4 days later temporary card will expire). He never call back, I have to search him as nothing else to do; sales manager instead of fix that problem or at least apologize, transfering phone calls back to sale person.And even more: at same day we bought this car my husband was found another one for himself, but this Chad has no information available, (that car was stay front of his office for few days and he wasnt interesting to update info?!!!). Whatever, we pick up our car next day ( 4 hrs drive one way!) and husband reconfirmed with him to call us regarding second car. Its never happen! I still fight over problem with registration, time getting close to expire, and I not drive it until know (almost month pass). I reminded sale person over phone today about his attention and atitude regarding second car purchase. I asks why he, at least, didnt call us about it ( he suppouse to be interesting to sale something, isnt?) So, his answer was: Its fine... Fine what, exactly? I went to the dealer after seeing a pre-owned BMW online. When I got there the car was in good condition and reasonably priced. I met with Rob and I have to say it's nice having a laid-back salesman who is a car enthusiast himself. The test drive went well with only a few things they had to throw in to close the deal making it fairly painless and easy as far as car negotiations go. Fast forward a few days later when I picked up the car, everything on the "punch list" was complete and when I pulled up Rob was outside getting the residual brake dust off the wheels. These days you don't see many sales guys getting down and cleaning the wheels of a USED car after the sale is complete... Needless to say I was impressed. I'm still very happy with the car, and the deal I got, and wouldn't hesitate going back in the future. I also highly recommend dealing with Rob.

Calvin was very patient in helping me find the right car and got me the best deal. He spent a few weeks with me in looking for the car I wanted, taking my phones calls and working with me as I changed my mind several times. He also gave me options that I was not aware of. Calvin made it a smooth process and took the time to show me all the features on my vehicle before I drove off the lot. Joel was extremely helpful in getting me approved and financed. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. Again they both made my experience very smooth and not stressful at all. I travelled from Gettysburg to purchase the car that I have been looking for in the past few months, a 335I Convertible. Reading BMW had just what I was looking for. The car is absolutely beautiful. While it took a bit of "negotiating" once the deal was made, Cal explained the features of the car in detail and the paperwork ended seamlessly. My wife and I saw a few preowned X3 models on the internet that we were interested in and drove 2.5 hours to the dealership. Calvin was our salesman and was friendly, helpful and knowledgable. This was by far the most pleasant buying experience my wife and I have ever had. My wife needed a new vehicle for her long commute to work and we're planning on starting a family soon, so we were looking at the X3 because of it's great reviews and safety ratings. After looking around, BMW of Reading had the lowest prices of any dealership. When we came in Rob was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in explaining the BMW brand since this was our first BMW purchase. We came in with a price in mind for our trade in, the new vehicle, and interest rate. They more than exceeded our expectations without having to haggle or feel like we were being pressured. My wife and I combined have purchased 6 vehicles from dealerships and I can tell you with certainty, service like this was a first! Joel handles the financing and again was very knowledgeable and helpful in explaining our warranty options. We love the vehicle. They say once you drive one you'll never want to switch back.
