This is my first experience buying a BMW. I've owned a Cadillac, Mercedes and a lexus. I've never had the treatment that I received at BMW of Ocala. It was quit moving actually. The staff actually put on blazers and white gloves to remove all fingers prints off the car. When they all cheered congratulations and shook my hand I actually teared up. It's a special experience. A cake to take home...who does that? The waiting room is like a lounge. Maybe I will wait while my car is serviced instead of going to any length to be picked up by my husband so I don't have to sit in a lobby.Also my salesman took me to the BMW store counter and allowed me to get a shirt for my husband. I received a key chain and yeti type coffee tumbler. My salesman Frank Rebo is a super guy. I mean he owns a golden & a german shepperd. He can only be a great guy. Everyone was super kind. Oh and yes "The Genius" who literally is a genius who new everything about my car. I can stop by at the dealership anytime to speak to a "Genius" to help me learn my car like they do. You won't regret doing business with this dealership. They are a "10"

My auto experience is extensive. Approaching 70 yrs of age and having sold retail and wholesale for 10 years I am knowledgeable of automobiles and the buying and selling process. My experience with BMW of Ocala was the best demonstration of how a car should be sold. The dealership is state of the art, lots of snacks, clean as clean can be, and the staff is very professional and customer oriented. My needs and requirements were the priority. The dealership provides technical experts to each each customer the use of the high tech features. The "Genuises" will tutor each customer from the basics through all the fine features of the high tech "stuff". The tutoring is individual and on the customers schedule. So each owner may schedule a session as needed....pretty cool. If you are shopping for a vehicle go to BMW of Ocala to see the way you should be treated.....watch them roll out the red carpet, be a good customer and do not settle for just any car....buy or lease "The Car"

We have been dealing with BMW of Ocala over the past couple of years now with their service department and have been very pleased with the attention given. It is also so nice to have the girls answer our phone calls "live" and offer to take a message instead of rushing us off to voice mail. Brent and "C" have met all of our expectations and have handled all of our concerns over that period. Our lease was up so we decided to go with BMW of Ocala to lease another --- a 328i this time. We met Frank Rebro several months ago and we can both attest to the fact that he is by far the best salesman we have ever dealt with. His product knowledge is second to none and his willingness to work with us sets him apart. My husband has been in sales for over 45 years and he knows when he is in the company of a good salesman. Frank was truly First Class in every way. We had our car built which came in sooner than expected --- we were pleased and excited about picking it up. All was normal as we signed the paperwork and then Frank said --- "Let's go and see your car." We were totally in awe of the treatment we received in unveiling our new car! Words cannot describe the attention given to us with this "white glove" treatment, the teamwork of the entire staff who were present, and the time taken to do what they did. What a wonderful experience --- one that we will never forget! In fact, each time we look at the car, we will think of this wonderful experience. If anyone is thinking of buying or leasing through this dealership, this is something to behold. I had a few issues with this dealership . My first issue was buying a used car that broke down after 400 miles. The first day I drove the car home my left rear tire needed air. I didn't think anything of it. There was a huge nail in the tire of this certified used 650I .I was heading to the airport to pick up my son and the car started misfiring drive train malfunction. I traded my Mercedes for this broken mess of a car which I still regret today. I dropped the car off the repair was made I TOLD THEM TO KEEP THE CAR!!I didn't want an unreliable car. They took the car back at a 12 thousand dollar loss for me. I decided to lease a new car a 428I not a bad car but not what I traded my Mercedes for.I gave the dealership an honest review which was not up to Bob Watts Standards . So Bob decides to call my wife and give her Lip due to my review REALLY!! I called Bob and asked him why is he leaving my wife messages about my review. He told me he wasn't happy with my review. I explained why I did so he hung up on me. Very Professional Bob. I have a issue with my rim. I payed for rim protection called the dealership multiple times no call back. My wife also had her 320I replaced it was a lemon. After months of putting her through hell. Buying a car should be exciting not depressing I will never deal with this dealership again. Also the car I returned none of the repairs were reported to carfax. Whoever bought this car has no idea about the recent repairs. Very shady.

They lie about warranty products for used cars...be very careful about what extended warranty you buy...they will.yell.you it's platinum, but give you silver or gold. They don't activate the 90 day warranty they "include" when you purchase a car, so if something goes wrong, they don't want to help or they won't cover it unde the 90 day warranty. They will use delay tactics until the 90 day warranty is up so they don't have to deal with the issue. I am seeking legal advisor for this dealership lying on several occasions and not providing me the warranty I purchased. Lemon law attorney is working on this. I contacted the Better business bureau as well. Be careful with this dealer...or any Gettel branded dealership when buying used...they lie and won't fix problems with used cars they sell.


Will never shop here again.

I bought a used vehicle from them. The car was stalling before I left the parking lot. I was told to bring it to the Nissan dealer. They found the issue and fixed it. I paid the Nissan dealer and brought the receipt to BMW. That was three months ago. I have called numerous times about my money. Always told someone will be calling me back. Never happened. I have gone back three times with the same results. Last time the service manager told me I would have a check by the end of the week. That was in January. I went back yesterday and now they can't find the service order from Nissan. At this point I'm giving up. They can keep my $98. Will never buy another vehicle from this guys. Every single person there just lies. Salesman was very nice but the service department is awful.

After searching for weeks I finally found the perfectly optioned certified BMW that I was looking for. I called and spoke with Teri who sent me an excellent walk around video of the vehicle. I then spoke with Mike where he made it very easy and stress free to put together the numbers for the deal. After coming to a quick agreement on an excellent price, I let him know I would be there in 2 days to purchase the car as I was not local. 2 days later I showed up and the car was detailed to perfection sitting in the showroom with a sold sign with my name on it. I was then introduced to Frank Rebero, my official salesman. He was extremely knowledgable of the vehicle and the best salesman I've ever dealt with. Very laid back and willing to work his hardest for you. My experience kept getting better and better as the process went along. I was delivered a water bottle, fresh cookies on a plate, and offered some great pastries and coffee from the lounge. I forgot to mention how clean and well kept BMW in Ocala and its employees were. I was in and out very quickly with my new car. A few week later I received a custom creative thank you card from my salesman as well as follow up calls from a few different people to make sure I didn't have any question and that everything was going well. I purchase close to 2 cars a year and this was by far the best experience I have ever had. I hope to purchase my next BMW from BMW in Ocala. Thanks everyone!

What a shame two weeks ago I purchased a 2013 x 5 CPO and was thrilled with the welcome white glove gathering ,every body at the dealer was nice , today I noticed the driver side top fender has been repainted horribly showing shades of darker paint ,I drove over to the dealer and the general manager told me there is nothing wrong with the paint, really I was totally in shock he did not acknowledge the paint being repainted bad ,I will never buy another bmw cpo from Ocala bmw or any bmw dealer as these cars appear to being in an accident and car fax report doesn't show up because whoever did the repair did not report to insurance but bmw of Ocala shouldn't have sold car as a cpo being in great condition ,check out yelp reviews of this dealer horrible rating what a shame the sales rep was nice and the service reps are the best people to help you but the manager not helping leaves me disgusted with a bad experience after the sale

The minute you walk into BMW of Ocala dealership the friendly environment automatically changes your mood, you're greeted instantly, have the door opened for you and the the advisors are eager to help you with your issue, there was never a time i was unsatisfied with the work done to my car or with any of the associates. Everyone works extremely hard to attend to any needs or wants you might have. need a ride locally somewhere while your car is being worked on? not a problem, they have a driver willing to take you to the mall, food and drinks if you're not already delighted with the selections that are already provided free for your convenience ( variety of starbucks coffee, water, juices and snacks ) always gives friendly follow up phone calls/ emails to see how everything is doing and ask if there is anything else they could possibly assist you with. The dealership is spotless and has comfortable furniture to relax while you wait. Overall i would recommend BMW to Ocala out of all the others i been serviced by. I purchased a 2016 m3 from BMW of Ocala. I received my allocation/production number in a timely manner with the help of Darnell Riley with no problems...great guy. I was happy about that after hearing of others stories being given the runaround by other dealers. They also got my special order request done correctly, and Frank Rebro was a great help with getting my PCD scheduled. I received a decent discount off msrp to boot!

Avoid, they do not do business ethically. Was attempting to purchase a car for a relative and BMW of Ocala was the closest dealership. I've owned 4 BMW's in my life so this was not my first time, and I have a degree in finance so I know how leases work. Was looking at a 2015 model of which they had plenty in stock (and the 2016's are coming in), Edmunds and all sites indicate these are going close to invoice at this point. BMW USA is running a lease special (that assumes buying at MSRP!) for $4200 and 279/mo. Found a car on the lot that was $500 more that modeled on BMW - first quote was $5300 down and $425/mo. I asked for an explanation, our sales person went back into the finance office, and says "oh, we modeled for average credit, I apologize" and brings back another one for $345 a month. I ask why the discrepancy from what is on BMW USA and was lied to, and even followed up by email asking for an explanation of why they were not evening meeting BMW's offer and was not answered.Throw in a ridiculous $795 "pre delivery service fee" and $195 "electronic tag fee", and you can do better. We purchased at BMW of South Orlando and received straightforward and honest treatment. I'm amazed places that do business like this are still around.

Everyone was knowledgable, friendly and service focused. You were made to feel special during the buying process. All employess went out of their way to support and communicate with you during the buying process. ViInny Monaco was a terrific salesman..He was very competent in every aspect of the selling experience. You wanted to but a car from him. Amed was an equally competent manager in every respect. It was clear he was the leader who drove the dealership culture. Very impressive. My only criticism was arriving at the purchase price and financing process was confusing. In part this was my fault as I should have taken more time to clarify and understand the cost and finance rate. The cost did not match True Value promise and I was told BMW uses a money rate versus and APR for financing. Is still don't know my APR and I will refinance if it's not competitive.

I did not purchase my BMW X3 at the Ocala dealership, just move to Florida. I took it to have services for 2 year service. Made appointment and was told could not have loaner since such small dealership have to make appointment 2 weeks in advance for loaner. When I arrived at dealership was surprised at how big it was. When I arrived at 10 Was met by Celedenio Galloza. He took car said word call at 1 and give me update. Wen. I received no call went back at 1:30 to find he was at lunch. When he got back k at 2 they had not started on car yet. We finally got car back at 4 after he ask was I sure I wanted them to wash it.2 weeks later my brake light comes on that pads need replaced. Called Celedeno at 9:45 this morning to see if was safe to drive. It is now 3/45. No call back. My family member is looking for BMW, I cannot recommend this dealership. This is my second BMW and worst service and treatment I have ever had

Firstly, I did not purchase my BMW at Ocala. I have a 328i XDrive 2013 that I had purchased from NY. The first time I had a problem was with my navigation system and I approached Ray. They installed the latest navigation maps version at no cost to me. I highly recommend Brent and Ray for the service they offer and their friendliness and approach ability. I had a couple of manufacturing paint related defects later on in my car. Brent took care of it for me at no cost to me. Everyone here is friendly and very approachable. I highly recommend this dealership. You don't always get to work with a service manager (Brent) one on one, that too every time. I always had the opportunity to work with Brent with any issues in my car. If I stay in the area, I would buy my next BMW in Ocala.Vishal

I was dealing with Francisco Luciano to buy a loaner BMW car. He asked me for all my information as well as information about my trade-in VIN number and said he would get back to me in an hour. Did not hear from him in an hour nor in a day so I called him the next day and he said that he already sent the email (Lie) with the information and he will send it again (lie again). Have not received any email and he just made up some story about my trade in car. When asked for the car pictures he said they are on his cell phone and just needs to download and email them to me again (lie again). Have not heard back from him since then. I am not sure why he was not upfront in saying that he was busy and will get back to me once he has some time when you collect all this information from me I would expect an email back atleast. if this is Internet Sales customer service - then I am sorry to say but this dealership thrives on lying to customer.

My Husband and I purchased a BMW Z4 this past Sunday at the BMW/ VW of Ocala Dealership. As we were looking at the car, a Salesman was working on another vehicle but stopped what he was doing to ask if anyone was helping us already. When we had told him no (he was actually the first one who approached us after we were there for a few minutes), he extended his hand and introduced himself as Michael Grace, asked if we had any questions as of yet...and when we said we didn't yet, he asked us if it was ok if he completed what he was doing, and he would be right back with us. Needless to say, in about five minutes he was back to help us out! Michael was with us from the beginning to the end of our purchase. He made our experience very pleasant, comfortable, and enjoyable! Not only does Michael have a strong work ethic and great customer service skills, he also is personable and my Husband and I really enjoyed this from Michael and your Dealership! I paid for my car in full, and the only "issue" was that it was missing the front BMW hood ornament. However, Michael ordered it from the Service Department the day of my purchase, and told me he would be in contact with me as to when I can expect it to arrive at the Dealership. He contacted me today via email to let me know it should be in by the end of the week. Again, excellent customer service! After leasing two BMW's over the past six years from BMW of Gainesville, I decided to buy. I designed the new 5 Series I wanted and made a fair offer to the Gainesville Dealership. However, on December 7, 2012 afer several days of negotiating, I became exhausted and shopped other dealerships, as I told them I would. I called BMW of Ocala and Michael Grace not only met my offer in 10 minutes over the phone, BUT was also able to throw in the Technology Package valued at $2,800! Michael secured the car that had been built for a Texas dealership and had it delivered to Ocala after it was shipped from Germany. The next day, I drove 40 miles from Gainesville to Ocala to sign a contract and found Michael Grace to be a very professional, efficient and honest salesman. Plus, he kindly stayed in contact over the next several weeks regarding the arrival of my new car. I took delivery of the beautiful new 5 Series from the showroom floor on December 28, 2012 and can not say enough nice things about Michael Grace and everyone I came into contact with over the past several weeks at BMW of Ocala. The Finance Director, Jacques Malfi and Business Manager, Michael Stachowicz were also friendly and knowledgeable and promptly returned my phone calls, if I had to leave a message. I was delighted with the gifts my salesman gave me of a BMW umbrella and BMW coffee mug along with my new BMW key chain and filling my car with bottles of water, leaving me to feel I had received the Royal Treatment. I thought maybe it was because I purchased instead of leasing. However, those gifts are apparently the normal course of business for leases and purchases at BMW of Ocala! My salesman, Michael Grace and BMW of Ocala Dealership are Exceptional, as well as my experience.

Even though this was my first experience in buying a car, I already knew what to expect (from what my dad had told me): the bargaining process would be long, and probably pretty intense by the end. But this experience surprised us both, as the negotiations were seamless. Our first counter-offer was accepted, and we got an absolutely fantastic offer on the car. Sure, they tried to sell us a special paint coat and they did mention a couple of higher-priced cars. But of course they're going to do that: it's just good strategy. What was impressive here was that it didn't feel like they were being pushy at all. I'll definitely have to make sure my expectations aren't too high next time a buy a car, because I highly doubt my experience will be better than it was this time.

My goal for placing the comments under the service section of the dealership section is hopefully for improved service from the dealership. I have been deeply disappointed in servicing of our BMW at our local BMW Dealership BWM of Ocala. Had this only happened once, I would have let it slide as a one-time experience. The 2008 BMW 318i replaced our 1998 Mercedes Benz E320 4-Matic, 10 years old and just past 44,000 miles and still ran beautifully. Since we had owned BMWs vehicles in the past when living in the Washington DC/Alexandria VA area, the two choices considered for replacement car were either Mercedes Benz or BMW. We loved the new BMW 328i hard-top convertible because it handles and runs beautifully. The inclusion of the 4 year/40,000 mile service was not a selling point since based on past experience the service department at the dealership would see us once a year for the annual servicing based on the fact he hardly puts on 3,000-3,500 miles per year. Unless anything was to happen unexpectedly to require non-scheduled service, which has not on this vehicle. The car was brought to BMW of Ocala yearly based on the limited amount of mileage we put on the vehicle. Here is the history of the 4 service calls for annual/routine servicing which was included with the purchase of the new 318i Convertible.First Servicing April, 2009Annual servicing was done and we brought the car home and parked it in our garage. Next day backed out and saw oil all over the floor of the garage. Phoned dealership and drove (40 mins. and 27 miles each way by the way) the car back to them to examine. Was informed by the service advisor that there was no problem, but that the vehicle has an underbody pan/panel that was not removed and when the oil was drained it ran on this pan and thus when we drove/parked the oil sloshed out. I stated how disappointment I was since to me it showed a lack of either following BMW protocols or BMW was lacking in how the vehicle was designed with this panel to allow proper servicing of the oil. Went home and cleaned up the oil.Second Servicing March, 2010We brought the car and I reminded the service representative of our experience last year and hoped that the problem would not be repeated and thus require a return trip. Everything went well and no oil was seen on either or garage floor or anywhere else we parked the vehicle. Third Servicing March, 2011I was out of town and my partner brought the car for the annual servicing. He didnt state anything, nor should he have obviously, about our first year experience since the second year went without a complaint. The car was brought home and parked in the garage and I arrived back home from business a few days later. Day after I arrived home (March 22, 2011) he takes the car out and I go to drive my car which is parked in the garage next to his and notice a large oil slick where his car was parked in the front middle area on the garage floor. At this point, I didnt rush to any judgments since anything might happen. After repeated phone calls to the service department to talk to an advisor, I call the main number again and asked for the service manager. Mr. Brent Gusfason came on the phone and I explained what I had found and past experience to him, but again stated calmly that it could be anything. Mr. Gusfason offered to send an employee to pick up the car from our home, but I stated I would rather bring him the car first thing in the morning myself. So on the following day we went back and short answer the problem was the same as our first year service problem. Mr. Gusfason came out and apologized and explained he was just brought into the dealership to work on service and other issues with the new owners of the dealership. Drove home and cleaned up the oil again from the garage floor.Fourth Servicing February, 2012We brought the car and reminded the service representative of past problems. Everything went well and no oil was seen on either or garage floor or anywhere else we parked the vehicle. This beautiful and expensive vehicle has been serviced with a lower quality and personal satisfaction compared to all of our past and current vehicles (Chevrolet, Honda, Cadillac, Mercedes and GMC). I subscribe to a lot of the car magazines; Automotive News, Automotive Weekly, Motor Trend, Car & Driver, Automobile and Hemmings, which all rave about the style and handling of the BMW 3-Series. I cannot disagree with their reviews, but I dont have a positive thing to say about the servicing of my BMW with two out of the four being negative 50% - being poor quality rating.

While traveling from St. Petersburg to Amelia Island we experienced a chime and "Low Oil Level" warning. Stopping immediately we checked the oil (low!), added the quart we carry and were directed to BMW of Ocala. When we advised Robert of our problem he took the car, had the oil level verified then the car was put on the rack to check for leaks. Thankfully there was no issues and the car was returned to us with the statement "Of course there's no charge". Several things became very apparent about this dealership. First, they treated us as people, not an opportunity in that they didn't see us as a chance for a fast dollar. This shows respect for the person and the car. Second, they reassured us it was safe to continue. Third, Dennis in the parts department advised that, if a problem did arise, we would be in good hands if we contacted the BMW dealer in Jacksonville.Based on the treatment we've received and as a payback for their extraordinary service I've told BMW of Ocala that will pass our experience on to the BMW CCA and BMWNA. We will also be buying our parts from BMW of Ocala for our 525i and our Z-3.
