I had been searching for a used Grand Cherokee SRT. I searched across the country and one was listed at BMW of Minnetonka. The price was the best I had seen for vehicles with comparable mileage. The dealer was willing to come down a little further from the listed price. I was traveling through the state, visited the dealer, and worked with John "Sully" Sullivan (the salesman). Always there!

Amy sold me my first BMW in 2014 and we've stayed in touch since then. When I decided to try and make my car a boat during a major rain storm in September 2016, she was there again to get me into car after mine was totaled. I asked her numerous times for lease number, finance numbers, etc. She always came through! To me, that's service! But, when I ran into the 2012 550i that I loved, my insurance hadn't completed the process so that I could move into another car She held that car for an extended period, turning away others, so that I could get it. That was probably the biggest piece of service I've ever experienced...ever. It may have been a problem to the sales guys, but she knew how much I loved this car! Now every time I get in it, I take a moment to appreciate the blessing of my relationship with Amy, her sacrifices and her exemplary client service!

After dealing with 4 or 5 dealers to trade in my car for a 4WD car for the winter I did my due dilligence at stopped in at BMW Minnetonka. INtroduced to Christian Even of their sales group he showed me a half a dozen 2 year old cars in very good condition. When we found the perfect car-color, miles - features I was hooked. The price was a little more that I anticipated spending, but it was a very nice BMW.Suffice it to say they were willing to make a deal and make it happen. I have driven it daily and really cannot remember being as happy with any previous car purchase.The Buying process was excellent!I would recommend them without reservation.

Incomplete Internet Sale

I contacted the dealership via a request from Cars.com about a used car. I was informed that the car (a sports car) had been sitting on the lot for 90 days and that, with the weather changing to fall, they did not have much room to negotiate price. While I appreciate the straightforward reply, the facts presented did not justify the response; a sports car sitting on the lot for 90 days in the middle of the summer doesn't make any sense (unless something is wrong with it) and a dealership should be in a hurry to move a sports car off the lot before winter. I understand that 90 days' worth of holding costs can't be cheap, but that's not my problem either--the car is worth what it's worth. The internet salesperson was quite friendly, I just thought the whole situation smelled bad so I walked away.

World class BMW dealer! I flew in to MN from out of state to buy a used car from Amy, who was beyond helpful throughout the entire process. I requested some warranty work be performed as a prerequisite to me buying the BMW. While the repairs were performed, Amy gave me a loaner BMW to use even though I had not yet bought anything from the dealership. Husband went in to browse and was greeted by Evan Hopkins as he wandered around the showroom. They struck up a conversation regarding what he wanted to purchase. Evan answered all his questions and more regarding the type of series and what each had to offer. Through this a decision was made to purchase. Cannot recall the name of the young lady who help in getting the right temporary tag length of time before expiration for the vehicle as this was an out of state purchase. This help to complete the vacation before returning home and not having to worry about an expired temporary tag. One of the small things that made the day.

I have been a customer of BMW Minnetonka for the last 15 years (even at SEARS prior to the move). Over the years I have had only one client advisor, Matt Liebig. Matt has become "my guy" when come to leasing BMW. He listens to my wants and needs when looking for a new car/SUV and at the end of the transaction I never had buyers remorse or pressured to make a deal. Remember when...?

Remember when people used to say "Don't go to the dealer for repairs because they overcharge and are only in it for the dollar? In several times of going to this dealer for repairs, shopping and parts, none of this has stood true. I used to shop around for better pricing but no longer do as prices quoted/paid are either in line or better than those of other shops. In addition the service people's attention to detail and customer service are second to none. Impressive is an understatement - to the point where I almost want something to break on my car so I can go back! Love this dealer, there is a reason why they are top rated... several reasons actually. Shout out to the Blue team! Tim Simmon is a true professional and it has been a joy to speak with him.

I was in the market for a used car. I found one on a search engine that was at BMW of Minnetonka. I called the dealer, was transferred to a salesperson, who was courteous and professional. We set up an appointment for a test drive. The car was ready when I arrived. Within an hour I was on my way with a "new" car. Great experience!

One of the best Sales person I met

I saw a BMW i like on the dealer website. I reached out using chat and the lady said someone from sales would be contacting me. Ryan Leach reached out to me about my inquiry. He answered all my questions. He also provided me the service history, build sheet, carfax report and other information about the car. After I saw the reports I made my call to Ryan. He is very friendly and does work with you. Once we agreed on the price and date i can come to pick it up, he sent me follow up email on whether I am planning to finance or pay myself. He keeps me updated and follow up till the day came and i finally flew to Minnesota to get my car. He is very friendly guy and very helpful. The dealership is big one but i think it needs more improvement. I am from Seattle so when i compare them to the dealers here their infrastructure is big but needs little work on their service staff be courteous to people from other state. The only person I will definitely will work with for my next car in future will be Ryan. He stayed all the way till i picked the car and even helped me provide directions to good restaurants near the place.

Was in the market for a newer model 5 series. Was referred to Jeff Swanson to talk to since my previous rep had retired. Jeff went out of his way at short notice to work with me on the models he had available but also mentioned to me I should check out a 750i that he felt was an incredible car and value. I own a BMW. I live 250 miles from this dealership. I came here to buy a Mazda6 for my wife (was $2K cheaper here than in my area). We instead bought an awesome Toyota Prius for half the price. My wife LOVES it! Our salesperson Amy Mattick was absolutely fantastic. Even though our purchase was considerably less than first expected she treated us like VIP customers buying the completely gorgeous BMW's on the showroom floor. (This showroom is two floors huge, absolutely stunning). The dealerships general manager was very friendly and stayed past closing to ensure our car was prepared to our satisfaction. When you buy a BMW this type of stellar service is expected but sadly in my experience rarely experienced. When I am ready to buy my next Bimm, I will be driving 250 miles to happily buy it here!

Horrible service and no communication

The manager of BMW called me to speak about the many issues I had with this dealer and I called him back and left a voicemail but I have yet to hear for him again. That was probably 2 weeks ago. So here are my issues1.We have had long waits most of the times we have come in. We waited at least an hour before we could get help to buy our car.2.The finance guy told us that tabs and license werent due but there werent any license plates on the car so we called and they said they would be ordering new license plates and they should come within 21 days. I called after 2 weeks and they said they still hadnt come in. My husband was then told that the license plates were never ordered. Then we were told that duplicates would be ordered. Then we were told that the license plates were already on the car under the BMW plates and we didnt need to worry about it. Then we received a call that our new license plates arrived at the dealership. They said they would mail them to me and then we did not receive them in the mail for about a week and they are not duplicates they are new plates that they said I needed so Im lucky I didnt get pulled over with bad plates. 3. When we received the paperwork for the new plates we noticed that both our signatures were forged on the paperwork.4. I didnt have my title with me when we purchased the car and I said it would not be very convenient for me to drive it up and can I just mail it and he said no thats not allowed. I called our sales rep later and said Id just rather pay the $20 for a duplicate Title than drive back up. He said its fine for me to mail it so I did and they received it. Then later we were told again that it was not allowed for us to mail it.5. We were told we would receive a check with the $20 refund for the title and we have not received it and its been almost 6 weeks . We were given a girls name Desiree and number and told to just keep bugging her till she pays you. We have called multiple times with no answer. Wow that is great service from a luxury car dealer that their answer is just keep calling and bugging us an eventually we will give you your money back. 6. When the bank approved our loan they noted that my husbands name needed to be listed first. The finance guy didnt see that or something and we put my name first and days later we were called and said we had to drive back in to BMW resign everything with Brians name first. 6.Once we got the car home we noticed it was saying service due Jan 2016. We were a little confused as we bought the car in Feb why any services werent up to date before purchasing the car since its under warranty. We made a service appointment and my husband drove up once again for it to be told that the services were already completed in Sept and BMW just never updated the car to show that. So it was a complete waste of our time. Overall, we would NEVER purchase from this dealer again.
