Did not rate facilities as dealership is under going a massive remodel of their facilities. This is my fourth purchase or lease of a BMW from this dealership. Each experience has been smooth & trouble free from the initial test drive to signing documents.

Customer servicde

I just repaired my car from service center. On the way home, I noticed that my tire pressure needs to be checked which was not mentioned for repair when I turned my car for service. However I think the service provider could have double-checked for any lights on the car after they finished the arrangement of repair and informed me to ask to do additional repair if needed. I feel like now I need to bring my car again for additional check up and for additional cost.

Customer service like it used to be

I began my buying experience with curiosity about the BMW brand because a few of my friends own them. I was not prepared to buy and visited Anchorage BMW in winter 2015. Jack showed me the BMW products and explained all the features and benefits of owning a BMW. He also took me on a test drive in and X model. The roads were icy and the BMW handled amazing at somewhat high speeds on the ice and never broke loose. I thanked Jack for his time and returned home.April 2016 I visited the dealership again to get a look at the BMW X5. Only spent a few minutes at the dealership and was treated well.Over the next month Anchorage BMW contacted me a few times to check my interest. I decided that an X5 was the vehicle for me but had not chosen a vehicle yet. The dealership has many used and new to choose from, so my friend and I drove 4 hours to Anchorage with my 2006 H2 Hummer and 2015 Ram 1500 to possibly trade-in.Jack cam to work on his day off and worked with me to find the right X5. We first looked at 35i models but I wanted more power. He then showed me a new 2015 X5 50i. Wow, what a cool vehicle. I fell in love with it immediately. Anchorage BMW gave me a fair trade on my vehicles and I drove home in my new X5 50i.Jack has since followed up with several phone calls to make sure I am completely satisfied. Customer service is difficult to come by in today's society. Most buying experiences are fair to poor. (Mostly poor) Anchorage BMW has customer service as it should be. They care about customer satisfaction because they obviously believe that good customer service brings people back to buy new cars over and over. Happy customers also tell their friends and business associates. Word of mouth recommendations cannot be replaced by any other form of advertising.Anchorage BMW is successful because of their great customer service and they also sell a quality product. Dropped the car off, was able to immediately see Kaitlin, was immediately able to get on to the shuttle, then got called at 10AM that the rear riverside tail light was finished. Got picked up at the requested time, at 12, then picked up the car and got back to work by 12:30! BAM! That was easy.

Very approachable & friendly people. Was called for service. Oil change was scheduled for Saturday. I was off for the afternoon. I just stop by to take a chance if my car will be squeeze in for oil change service. I spoke with Bruce at service department if there's an opening for an oil change. He walk around the shop & did squeeze in the service for my car. I save of not coming for early Saturday morning. This person knows what's he's doing & makes customer happy.

First Rate Service & Techno savvy, too.

Great to be able to schedule service online. Seeing the scheduling calendar makes it easy. The new lounge is great, the people friendly, the service first-rate. It was really nice to be able to replace my windshield under the warranty plan - it wasn't cracked but it was "frosted", which was a real problem when driving into the setting sun. No questions asked, no haggling, no problem. Bruce said - you paid for the warranty you should be able to get a new windshield if you want one.

Mini Cooper Countryman S

The inventory and description on the dealership's website was helpful. I liked the character and safety features of the Mini. I knew that I would try a Countryman because it checked every box that I wanted. Great mileage, all wheel drive, heated seats & winter package, roomy, and a manual transmission (turbo/sport). Mark Valdez took us for a test drive in two other models, but I bought the one I had seen online. Mini Coopers, in general, are nice handling, quiet, safe, and really fun to drive. The Countryman S console is comprehensive and easy to tend to while driving. Thoughtful engineering. My expectations were met. Mark and John were professional and friendly. Mark owns a Mini (manual transmission), so he knew that I knew what I wanted and he was happy to show off the Sport feature.

The x4 is a sexy bad ass car

I went to BMW of Anchorage to have some routine maintenance done and to get my windshield replaced. The shop was able to get my car in a full day ahead of schedule. I was just going to check my car in for the following day, so that was a pleasant surprise. My car was finished, as predicted, the following day. Bruce took care of me through the entire process. He has to be the hardest working guy there. He has taken care of my wife and me for several years now and it's always a good feeling knowing that he's the guy taking care of us. Routine maintenance prior to end of warranty

Quick, easy, attentive!I appreciated that my service was scheduled prior to the end of my warranty to ensure that anything found during maintenance would be covered & I was able to leave my car there for a few days because I went out of town.

My experience at BMW

I was, "maybe", car shopping when I went into the BMW dealership. I had already been to several other dealers. Trading my Camaro in was not going to be easy. I really enjoyed my car, so what I replaced it with had to be very special. Jennifer came out to greet me and before I knew it, I was test driving a 428X1 Coupe. The car handled extremely well and had all the features I was looking for. Safety was a huge issue because unlike my Camaro, I would be driving my new car year round. I ended up purchasing the 428X1 that was on the show room floor. I am very satisfied with my choice. My husband is very impressed with the car and that says more then you know. Very professional sales staff. I do wish they's mive their dealership. Filthy rundown location and the only answer to that is to move. Building is cramped, water damaged and under a local airport takeoff pattern. Road traffic spreads grit and film continuously on the beautiful cars. This ensures a bew car delivered with swirls in the clear coat. Service department is professional and helpful.

Just Purchased a 2015 X3

Wow- I swore I would never buy another new car! "Never-say-never," I just purchased a new BMW X3 and I would like to give a shout out to Mike Callahan for taking the time to show me seven different cars over the course of two months... He never pressured me, and was very patient in teaching me the differences between all the different models. The closing was stress free and not the typical get you to deal with the closer to "close the deal."

BMW of Anchorage is like family to me. In 2008 I leased my first BMW(528xi), and in 2012 I purchased another BMW(X5 diesel). On July 5, 2014 I was scheduled for an oil service, but while waiting for the completion, I purchased a current year X5 diesel. And a few days later...a 3 series diesel for my husband. My husband and I both commute from Wasilla to Anchorage and accumulate 30-35k miles on each of our vehicles every year which means we usually go through vehicles every 3years because we prefer not to retain vehicles beyond 100k miles. We are now on our third and fourth BMW and we cannot imagine life without one. The three things that are most important to us are 1) safety; 2) fuel efficiency; and 3) an efficient service department. We have found all three at BMW of Anchorage. If you are in the market for a vehicle, please take a little time to stop in and introduce yourself to Phyllis Halverson or Curt Zakrzewski. I believe the individuals in sales are the face of a company they are the first impression and Phyllis and Curt make great ones. On every visit I have ever made to this dealership, I have been respectfully greeted with friendly, open arms. David Billman, Mark Tadic, and Larry Pace (the gentleman behind the scenes) will also treat you with great respect if you are given the opportunity to meet them. They have excellent follow-through and in my opinion, truly want what is best for your individual situation. I give them my highest praise. Lastly, if you do purchase a vehicle and have it serviced through BMW of Anchorage, know that you cannot compare their service advisors to any others. Russell Oakley and Bruce Peterson are seasoned advisors who have been in their positions for a significant amount of time in what often seems to be a revolving door at other dealerships. I trust the advice they give.
