I had a very sour experience when it came time to discuss financing the vehicle. Finding the car was not a problem. The manager was very rude and arrogant. It was by far the most unpleasant and uncomfortable sales experience I've ever had.

Such poor salesman I purchased a Car and had to return the next day to pick it up and turn in my trade in title. When I did I was told that my salesperson was busy . He pointed to my new car out front handed me a key and let me leave. I felt like I was really nothing not even happy to have a new car. The next day I talked with rick my salesperson and questioned only getting one Key for my car, he said you purchased a used car with no extra key. Who sells a car with just one Key! Not even a thank-you after the sell.

I decided to try Billion Honda for a repair to on our automatic doors on our 2007 Honda Odyssey as I have not be pleased with the work done at the honda dealer in our community. I was greated by a nice gentleman. I explained the problem which I had already diagnosed through extensive research on our automatic door. I believe the latch actuator is the problem, supported by many Odyssey owners consistently. He then asked me if I knew about their diagnostic charge, which I said no. When I set up the appointment online, of course that was not disclosed. He said it would most likely be $100 plus the cost to then repair what they found. That's a terrible start. I can understand charging a fee if I get a diagnosis and run, but to then use them to repair the job is unacceptable. We'll see what they come back with...initial impression is a rip off. If I'm wrong, I will come back and correct this review.

Visited Billion's service department after Randy Kuehl (Cedar Rapids) misdiagnosed a problem on my Honda. Billion provided a CORRECT diagnosis in less than 30 minutes and in the end it cost me less than 20% of what Randy Kuehl planned to charge me (for the wrong repair, no less). For service needs, DO NOT go anywhere near Randy Kuehl and it's dungeon of a waiting room. Stick with Billion for a modern, no-hassle service experience.

Tyson asked me to put money down promising to hold a check until Friday. Tyson did not follow through and cashed the check 3 days early, knowing full well I did not have the money until then and wreaked havoc on my bank account causing a hardship on my family purposefully. I let Lisa know. She said she would have her mgr look into this, along with papers owed to me by Torrie who handles the paperwork, as the car was advertised as a Certified car and I was not given the papers. No Carfax was given either. Emailed Honda two days after speaking with Lisa, since I had still heard nothing. It's now been 5 days and still not a peep. It is apparent that Billion is hiding in shame due to their gross negligence and lies because car dealers jump on customers any other time. It's disgusting how they've unprofessional treated me and they do not deserve a favorable review until they are willing to make amends. If Billion had any decency they would do the right thing and be a respectable place of business rather than a greedy shameless liars.

I went in to Billion to purchase a new Honda Crosstour and was instantly approached by Rickie, the sales representative. He was very knowlegdable and not overly pushy. I decided to let him have the numbers run and at that time is when Eric, the finance representative joined us. Eric first pryed to why I wanted the Crosstour vs a different Honda, mostly in relation to mileage and cost as I drive a lot for work. The strong push to get me interested in a different model Honda was my first set back. Once I made it clear the Crosstour was what I wanted he we began to discuss numbers. I told him what I currently pay and what my wishes were based on monthly payments. Like most dealerships they began high, very high, with out any concern for my initial requests. Eric was very arrogant and honestly lead me to believe he was using his "own" Honda cash ($1000k) to drop the price and that there is "only so much to use". Later I found out that was not a true statement. He never was wiling to get to the price point where the deal could have been made. He kept using verbage with tones such as "even though I am paying off your other loans". Pretty sure there was a difference in our personalities from the beginning but what Eric needs to remember is if he wants to sell a car, a brand new car, he needs to work for the customer! I would not at all, in any way, recommend Billion Auto. I can say that Rickie was helpful and I made it clear to him that he did not lose the sale yet Eric did that for him.

I was looking for a specific vehicle so I started with an internet search. I found a vehicle on Billion's website that fit my criteria. The vehicle was listed as "Honda Certified and has passed an extensive 150 pt inspection and has been reconditioned Honda's highest standards......" I contacted the dealer to check on the availability of the vehicle and to determine which one of the locations had the vehicle. During my initial phone conversation I asked questions about the warranty and the Honda certification. I was told that if I wanted to purchase the vehicle as a "certified" vehicle than the price was $1,000 higher than what was listed. I was totally shocked that they would list it as certified but not list the accurate price. That's like saying the vehicle has A/C but then saying if you want A/C you have to pay more. I don't know if this practice is "illegal" but it is definitely deceptive. Maybe it violates some consumer protection law or something?? I even talked to them a second time just in case they had given me wrong information. I expressed my concerns about their "deceptive" practice. I ended up purchasing a vehicle at another dealership and I mentioned this pricing practice to them. They couldn't imagine anyone doing that. I asked if they had suggestions on how I could complain about this and they told me about this website. So, today I sat down to write this review and I went back to the website so I could copy/paste the certified wording for the review. The price listed was now $1,000 higher......I don't know if they changed it because of my complaint or maybe others had complained as well. I give them credit for changing the price to where it should be. I debated about how to rate them, taking into account they changed the price. I decided that the deceptive pricing out weighed anything they did after the fact and gave them a "1" rating.

My experience with Billion Honda was Great. I purchased a 2012 Honda Civic which was used & that's what I was looking for. My salesman Rickey Johnson was very good I couldn't have asked for a better person. He went out of his way to get me the best deal for my new car as well as getting the most out of my trade in. I had a scheduled repair in the service department yesterday & Rickey came in on his day off to make sure everything went as planned. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase a new or used car. They have a great sales department & offer excellent after the purchase service.

I recently purchased a 2012 honda odyssey from billion and had a good experience. I came a couple of days beforehand with some quotes I had received online using 'truecar' and had a good conversation with a salesperson. My wife and I test drove the van, and I then came back to discuss the price further. I found them to be reasonable and was able to get a price in the bottom third on average price paid on truecar. There was some haggle, but reasonably so, and I would do business there again.

A one owner 2008 Toyota Prius Touring was advertised at the low price of $18,488 with 18,000 miles on it. 1) It was put on the lot to attract buyers and then push Honda's. Manager claimed ... the owner sold it ... because they were shopping for a Honda that accelerated faster. The Manager failed to recognize that the Carfax report (the customer purchased on their own) verified they were telling a fictional story.2) The posted price factored in a typical trade-in ($2,000) which was not clearly posted or indicated that--that was the case. This particular trade-in was $3,750 for a cash-in-full paying customer. But it was very misleading to find that the vehicle bottomline was very different than what was expected. There are other reports that this dealer pulls people in with what appears to be a value-price used vehicle and then tells the customer seeking financing that they don't qualify for a used car loan, but they could qualify for a new car loan.3) For some odd reason when the customer purchased the vehicle in a daze from the experience, the ride home was very different than the test drive. In the follow-up call by the sales rep ... the frustrated and angry customer was told that the tires had 50 lbs of air rather than the 30 that is recommended. Once the tires were back to normal ... the car drove and rode like the Consumer Report recommended vehicle that the customer thought they had purchased.

Very honest, straitforward, and friendly dealership.I was looking for a new Civic Si, and either couldn't find one in the Chicago area (where I live) or couldn't find a dealer who wanted to make an honest deal on the one they had. With Chezik-Bell, I did the whole deal over the phone and everything was the way they said it would be when I came in. No price changes, unwanted accessories that were added on, hidden fees, etc. I came in the dealership with my guard up but when I left, I realized that was completely unnecessary. I would recommend this dealership to Iowa residents (or even Chicagoland residents) if you are looking for a Honda. Even if they don't have the Honda you are looking for, I'm sure that they could find it for you, and then you won't have to deal with all the games other dealers play.
