I made another appointment and went out to see it. I did not care for the car, but they were very courteous An followed up. I'd buy a car there.

I needed to buy a new car, and my fiancee was thinking about trading in her old one. Richard Winchester helped us the day we came in, and we both left with brand new 2016 Chevy Sonics! Stephen Reiter took excellent care of our financing and gave us great deals. This was my first new car purchase ever, and honestly I never thought car buying would be this easy. After a lot of research I found a used car I wanted to buy and it was located at Biggers. Had a mechanic look it over and had cash in hand, ready to buy. There were a few problems with the car (worth abut $1000) and it had been in an accident per the CarFax, so I asked the salesman to give me a better price then that quoted on the internet. I had comparables in hand and was ready to negotiate. The manager came by and said point blank, we won't negotiate. The internet price is the final price. I walked out. What a dummy! Who would pass up a cash sale without even attempting some negotiation? Fools.

You knew I was very angry and disappointed and was set on never returning again as a Biggers Chevrolet customer. Having started looking into leasing a new car, I believe in giving second chances. I am very pleased that I came back to let everyone help me resolve all of my concerns in the service department. The GM, Bob Colwell went above and beyond to explain all of the factors that went into my repair and cost of my car. I absolutely love this dealership and their staff. I recently went in to trade in my 2012 Chevrolet Equinox and was helped by Diego Montes and he is just so amazing, friendly, honest and very patient. Time and time again he would run out to show me different vehicles after me changing my mind so many times. The staff was so helpful went it came to helping with the finance companies, thanks to these guys I was able to once again walk out with a brand new 2015 vehicle, free oil changes for 2years and the most important part walk out with a comfortable monthly payment. There are not enough words to describe the lack of customer service with this dealership. I live within a 1/2 mile of this dealership. I have tried numerous times to do business here. Once on trying to buy a corvette and twice when I needed service on my existing corvette that I bought elsewhere. It's bad when you can't even get someone to call you back to change an appointment for a simple oil change or you get sent elsewhere to get a run flat tire fixed that GM put on the car in the first place.

We purchased a 2014 suburban today and couldn't be happier with Coke the salesman. We actually dealt with him in 2011 when we bought a Camaro from him. I have had 2 VERY positive experiences at Biggers and will always be a repeat customer. And I have to add the finance department is top notch, it's nice to not being pressured into buying all the extras if you don't want to but he will take the time if you have questions. Great guy!! My previous car was also purchased through Biggers Chevrolet. I was very pleased with the service throughout my ownership of the vehicle (7 years) that when I decided it was time to purchase a new car, I wanted to return to Biggers Chevrolet. I was helped by Jeff Purcell. He was very knowledgabe about the products I was interested in and was able to answer questions I had related to trading in my old car. I was able to take the car on a test drive with Jeff Purcell and he explained the features of the car, as many were different from the older model. If I could give these guys 10 stars for their service I would! This is by far the best dealership you will ever buy your car from. I have purchased total of 8 cars/trucks from these guys and could not have been happier. I am a very picky customer, a consumer that does her homework and knows what I should expect. To satisfy me it takes a lot and these guys have done it every time. Their service department is by far superior compare to any dealership I have ever had to work with. They treat their customers like they are going to be a return customer for life. They will not push you into buying anything you don't like and certainly will never sell you an unsafe car or a truck. The owner of this dealership is obviously treating his employees well because they have been with him for 10+ years and some even more. Most dealerships cannot keep their staff for more than a year let alone 10 years. I think that says a lot about how the place is run and how good the owner of the dealership is to his employees. To me if the employees are happy they will produce a better job and transfer that work ethics onto their customers. So hands down this is my first and only stop for my next vehicle. I highly recommend Biggers to anyone who is looking to buy a car or a truck, who wants a great service, good price, and a life time dealership that will service you with great respect whether its service related or buying another car. My family needed another car. I was a bit anxious about getting a new car. I've dealt with other dealers before, and being a single woman, I always feel like other dealers try to take advantage of me.This was NOT the case with Biggers Chevy! This dealership was awesome. Jeff Purcell, the salesman was quite friendly and personable. He answered all my questions and told me things to help me get the best deal. I honestly feel as if he had MY best interest in mind. Jason Seger worked the finance out for me. Honestly, he is a miracle worker. I told both Jeff and Jason what I could put down and what I could afford each month and they worked with me. We got an awesome car - the Cruze. My son, 25, will be the primary driver and he was quite impressed with how we were treated.I will ALWAYS recommend Biggers Chevrolet! WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. I drove all the way from Evanston, IL to Elgin, IL to look at one very reasonably priced 2011 Chevy Malibu LTZ. Turns out that the car was everything it had been described to be and at the absolute lowest price I had seen throughout the area! Good people, fair prices, excellent service and great cars! I purchased a previously owned 2008 Saturn Aura from Jim Burgess at Biggers Chevrolet on July 14, 2012. As it was a previously owned vehicle, I decided to purchased the extended warranty for a little peace of mind. Six weeks after purchasing the vehicle, there were several issues - service airbag and tire pressure lights were illuminating randomly, the passenger side door lock was not responding to the key remote, and the washer fluid nozzles had very low flow. I made an appointment with the Biggers service department and took it in on August 31, 2012.They informed me that the battery needed to be replaced as it was the cause of the illuminating service airbag and tire pressure lights, that the door lock actuating assembly needed to be replaced, that the washer fluid nozzles needed to be replaced, and that only the door lock actuating assembly was covered under the extended warranty.I had them replace the battery and the door lock actuating assembly, but declined the replacement of the washer fluid nozzles as I was already over $340 in repair costs for a vehicle I purchased only 6 weeks prior.I was not happy.I contacted Dave Arenson and Bob Colwell and expressed my discontent.Today, I took the vehicle back to the Biggers Chevrolet service department. Not only did they replace the washer fluid nozzles at no charge, they refunded the entire $340+ that I paid the prior week - voluntarily.I chose to do business with Biggers Chevrolet because of their excellent customer service reputation. After my first service visit, I was disenchanted and had decided to move my service needs to another provider. My visit today changed that decision.Not only will I continue to have my service needs taken care of by Biggers Chevrolet, but I will recommend them as an honest, customer service driven, full-service dealership with integrity seldom found in businesses today.

Initially, we visited this dealer to look at an amazing Traverse deal that was advertised online. Unfortunately, due to a mixup, the vehicle was not there when we visited. This is where Bigger's set themselves apart. Not only did they apologize, but they went out of their way to acquire us a similar vehicle at a similar price. The staff was friendly, low pressure, and extremely competent. The experience was nothing less than spectacular and we are now driving a very nice 2012 Traverse.In addition, I really want to give a shout-out to Ryan Thomas for all the time and energy he put into providing excellent service. Moving the the vehicle from Detroit in the early AM, then taking the time to walk us through the sale in the late evening. Between him, Dave, and Bob, we couldn't have asked for more friendly and competent service.We will definitely come back when it's time to replace our smaller vehicle and plan to recommend this dealer to others.

I called the night before to check if a certain car I had seen on the internet was actually on the lot, since I was driving an hour to get there. I was assured it was, and I was there when they opened the next morning. The car was "out on an extended test drive." (Off the lot since 2 days before.) The second sales person was very apologetic, but that does not really make up for my time and effort. This did not make good impression of how they would look out for someone actually purchasing a car.

This was the best car buying experience ever! When I first pulled in to the dealership, I was only going to take a look around, and see what they had on the lot. When Mark came out to talk to me, it took him no time to assess my needs. Within 15 minutes I was test driving the vehicle I did eventually purchase (it was a weekend). The process was hassle free, straight forward and very easy going. The management team was great as well.It doesn't stop there! I purchased the car on Monday, and Mark, my sales person, called with a follow up to make sure I was enjoying my new vehicle, as well as to provide additional information on a question that was asked during my visit. How many times has someone purchased a car, and the sales person moved right along to the next customer, never to hear from them again. Not in this case. I truly feel good about my whole experience. I have never had a better buying experience than this. I would recommend Biggers to anyone who is interested in buying a new or used car. They have a great selection of cars ranging from brand new to slightly used. I bought a 2008 Pontiac G6 GXP which I love!! The wonderful man who helped me was Jim Burgess. He was extremely nice and very knowledgeable. I had an issue with my XM radio and Jim worked tirelessly to get it working. He kept in contact with me everyday while I was out of town in order to get me a car upon my return. I would for sure recommend him to anyone who is interested in buying a car. As for the other staff of Biggers, they were all so sweet, inviting, and knowledgeable. Biggers is a great place to purchase a car.

I initially visited Bigger's Chevy to test out the new Chevy Traverse. I pondered this vehicle and another for a couple days. I drove by this dealership looking to trade in my car. As I was walking into the dealership I spotted a familiar face. Jim Burgess opened the door for me and I reconized him from another dealership where I had bought my first equinox from. From that moment on he spent plenty of time with me walking around the parking lot looking at the 2012 Equinox and giving me all the information I needed to make the best decision. I came back the next day and test drove the vechiles. When I finally picked one, the whole service team came together to give me the best appraisle for my 2010 equinox. They made sure that I could afford the new equinox by including all the incentives. They worked hard to get me a good APR and along with my good credit score I was able to sign the papers and buy the new equinox. Jim was truely a great surprise to run into, and I wouldnt have wanted to deal with anyone else. Even my very hard to please father was extremely happy and satisfied with Jim and the mangement staff. I will definalty go back to Jim and Biggers to trade in and buy a new Chevy. This is the 6th new car I have bought in 10 years and by far the best experience.

Coke went above and beyond any other car salesperson I have ever had before; he made buying a car a fun experience! He was sure that I was happy with the car, price, and answered any questions that I had both at the time of purchase and after. He also spend time helping me get comfortable with the functions of new car(radio, vehicle information system, OnStar, etc.)I didnt feel pressured at any time from Coke which was great instead he focused on tmy needs and wants for a vehicle. At the time of financing I was glad that it didnt take a long time. At that point, noone wants to spend another hour signing papers after they have spent hours test driving and deciding on what car to purchase. Jerry was very knowledgable and quick to answer any questions I had. Two of my family members have purchased vehiles from Coke within the last 6 months and referred me to him. Jim Burgess was great to work with. He's probably the most knowledgeable car salesman I've ever met. He was very patient and spent a lot of time with us - allowing us to take a Traverse for a test drive and then take another test drive of the actual car we decided upon. He was no nonsense when it came to negotiating the deal so we appreciated his getting this done quickly. The best part was that after we bought it, he took the time to go through how all the features worked. Cars are so technical these days it would have taken me forever to figure it all out if I just had to read the manual! Mark was beyond helpful. The business closes at nine pm and Mark stayed well past that going through every detail of my new car and explaining how to use controls, gadgets, etc. He even called me the next day with an answer to a question we couldn't find in the manual, meaning he took the time first thing the next day to research it. I used to work at Biggers and have seen lots of sales people. Not many take the time to do that and really make a customer feel like they understand everything. I have been a Biggers customer since 2004. My salesman for this car, a 2012 Chevy Cruze was James (Jim) Burgess. James was knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions. I do a lot of research before purchasing a car, and I dread getting a salesman that does not know his stuff as far as options and standard features. I walked in Bigger's Chevy Heaven on 02/23/2012 and I must admit I wasn't feeling my best. I had a cold and was very frustrated with looking for a car for several weeks.However I walked in and was greeted by a very nice salesman and I told him I was looking for Joe. We went to Biggers Chevrolet because we purchased a vehicle from them in 1999; my Chevy Cavalier. We received great service back then and we received great service again. Our salesman Mark Ewald was very personable and knowledgeable about the vehicle we purchased; which was a 2012 Chevy Equinox LT1. He got us a great deal and expedited us thru the processs marvelously. After all the paperwork was done, he explained all the fantastic features of the Equinox with a knowledgeable hands on approach. I have gone to this dealership many times for service on my 2008 Malibu. Well I finally decided it was time to go from 2 vehicles to 1. Well I went to the dealership to find information on the 2013 Chevy Malibu Eco. I was greeted when I got there by Jeff. I told him I was there to see a friend that worked there.. He instantly said he would work with me and Bob the GM of sales on a deal. So I test drove the car and was impressed with the interior and exterior and the ride. Well I original was gonna trade in one car and pay the balance off when I sold the other to Carmax. Well instead I was told I could sell both to Bigger's and have a check for the left over cash. So I agreed. They were more then reasonable to work with on trade value and meet my values of acceptability. The finance paperwork went quick. The only thing that I wish would have happened the same night was getting my check for the left over money which I was told I could pick up on Wednesday or Thursday, So giving I get the check and don't have a hassle getting it ..I'd recommend this dealer.

We actually went in to get an oil change on our 2002 Venture. While waiting we started looking around the showroom. The traverse caught our eye. Jim came up and welcomed us and showed us around. My main objectives were to try to upgrade to a "newer" vehicle, improve my credit score and obtain a vehicle I can realistically afford. I originally spoke with Rich Wicker on my first visit and was impressed with Rich's efforts to zero in on my needs and various vehicle choices. I actually went to the dealership to drop off a car I was borrowing that needed to be serviced. Jake was so friendly and non agressive about selling that I felt very comfortable just talking to him and I started to look at some of the cars. I test drove an Equinox and Malibu. I knew I had to get a car and after I test drove the Malibu I thought this is the car for me. However, I thought the car payment would probably be too much but Jake and the rest of the Biggers staff were able to put an offer on the table that was too good to pass up. Andrew Anderson highly recommended this dealership, as he had purchased his Mistubishi Lancer from there three years prior, and accompanied me to the initial consultaion. Unfortunatley I became aware of a foreclosure that my still current husband (to whom i have file to divorce) had let a propterty go into foreclosure. Everyone was friendly. I feel we paid a fair price for the vehicle we purchased. Negative - Only one processor. We had to wait over an hour to see him after an agreement was reached on the purchase. He did stay after normal business hours to complete our transaction, yet did not hurry us to get home. There was a TV room and play area that helped to keep the children occupied. Recently took listed 2005 black Lexus GX470 out to be checked by Woodfield Lexus before I bought it at Biggers. Front and rear brakes need to be replaced. Right caliper is sticking. Rear suspension sensors need to be replaced. They will not tell you these things. When I brought all of these needed repairs to their attention they said they will fix the brakes but not the susupension sensors. Their reason was that the car is "priced right." My response is that they are priced right, however if they add the needed $2,200 needed to repair the car to bring it up to safety standrds they are now not priced right. They were very accomidating to what I personally needed in a car and willing to work with me until I was 100% satisfied. I drove away with my New car feeling very excited and happy that I had the car I was EXACTLY looking for. Each person I spoke with from my sales guy to the GM to the finacer they were all friendly and welcoming. Ive been in managment for 4 years now and the way Biggers Chevy handles their customers is amazing. They practice key points such as good customer service, and product knowledge, which is Definitley something I look for when shopping around. Another thing to add to Biggers Chevy is their selling strategies, they don't force you to buy anything you dont want, like other dealers who try to negotiate and end up screwing you in the end. ***Please read update at bottom***I went in early Spring looking at the Cruze, Bob was friendly, but a little pushy. I thought I had more time with my current vehicle so I didn't buy at that time. When my car died in July, I decided to go back there. The Cruze is a great car, but what I was being offered was laughable.They pulled my credit and told me I had an 815. They told me the best interest rate they could get me was a 4.99% possibly a 4.49%. A friend of mine purchased a car there 3 months earlier with a score in the low 600's and got the same interest rate.There were several questions that I asked in a clear manner and was given the run-around. I had to interrupt and ask for my question to be answered. The pressure was high. I told them I would NOT be buying at that moment. I was honest and said I wanted to get my trade-in appraised and look at other cars, but I would be making a decision that evening. I spent over THREE HOURS there. By the time I left, I really didn't want to go back.After leaving, I received a text message stating they received another vehicle that matched what I was looking for and gave me the price. That was completely appreciated. What was not appreciated were the two phone calls and the other text messages I received. Even after I told him a done deal he wouldn't relent. I had to spell out the reasons I wasn't buying from him. He then told me he was disappointed I wasn't buying American. Keep your comments to yourself. He lost any referrals with that call.The following day, someone from their office called and was quite shocked to hear how things transpired. From looking at the reviews on this site, I have a feeling I just ran into a poor salesman.***UPDATE***The same day I wrote the above review, I received a phone call from Jim Leichter, the owner. He was very friendly, listened to my concerns and addressed them all. He said he had already taken care of what I had written about and assured me it would not happen to anyone in the future. He was incredibly warm and actually listened to my concerns. The next day I recieved an email thanking me for my time and again assuring me that he would make sure it could not happen again in the future, so I decided to update this review to show that it was in fact the salesman (and maybe just a bad day) and NOT the dealer. The experience that we had at Biggers Chevrolet was phenomenal! The first time we went in, on Thursday March 4th, we met with our sales man, Richard Winchester. He had a heart of gold and was willing to anything in his power to help us reach our desired price on the purchase of our 2008 Impala SS. Unfortunately, we had to leave empty handed that day. However, 2 days later we received a call from Richard, just to see if we were albe to figure something out on our end, he really wanted to see us go home in the car that we wanted.Saturday, March 26th, we returned to Biggers Chevy, and were able to work out a deal that worked for both us and the sales manager. A very fair price for the vehicle we took home, as well. We had to wait fora little while for Richard to finish up with another couple, but were treated with great respect and interest by the other employees on the floor. This experience, again, was a great one. Richard took care of us with the same zest and motivation that we encountered on the first visit. Once paperwork was complete on Richard's end, we visited the business office. The"finance guy", whose name seems to have slipped my mind, was amazing. He was extremely efficient and knowledgeable in his work and was extremely nice! The process went smoothly and quickly and we were out the door with our "new" used car within ten minutes!Overall, the team at Biggers Chevrolet provided the best car buying experience we have ever been through! Quick, efficient, and willing to compromise. Despite the long drive (from Woodridge) we will certainly be returning to Richard and his team for all future purchases!Thanks for a great time!

This was by far the best car buying experience I've ever had. We were looking for a pre-owned Chevy Malibu LTZ and had been in contact with them a few times trying to find one in our price range. We got a call from our salesman Jason and he had been running numbers and discovered they had just listed a 2010 Malibu LTZ that had been a demo and had only 5,000 miles on it. We went in the next night, worked the numbers and came home with the car. It turns out we got a better deal buying a new car for a bit more money because they were able to get us 0% financing which then brought our payment lower than it would have been buying a 2008 with 30,000 miles on it. I will definately reccomend them to everyone I know and will be back to purchase our next vehicle when the time comes. If you are in the market for a new vehicle, give them a chance before you purchase anywhere else.

i had a very pleasant experience at this dealership. eddie jaramillo, was very helpful, friendly and knew his business. there were no high pressure sales pitches with eddie. he came over to us when we walked in and it was a great experince from then on. i told him what i was looking for, he brought me a few different vehicles to look at and we went from there. i made my choice fairly quickly and before i knew it the deal was signed sealed and delivered with not a hassle for me. the price of the vehicle was where i wanted to be thanks to eddieand his expertise. i will highly recommend eddie jaramillo and biggers chevy heaven to anyone that i know. thanks eddie and biggers for the phoenominal experience.

My father and I went into Biggers Chevy looking for a 2011 Equinox. We knew the model we wanted, but I hadn't decided on options or a color yet. Biggers had some of the colors available, but I really wanted to see one in mocha, which Biggers didn't have. Darrick assured us he could have one in mocha at the dealership on Monday, and that I was not obligated to purchase it. I told him that I was going to another dealer just to see the car in mocha, but that I would come back to Biggers to make the final purchase. Darrick didn't want us to have to go anywhere else, so he ended up finding an Equinox in mocha that was on the grounds but not in their system or visible in the lot (from a dealer trade). I was able to see the car in all the colors I was interested in, and decided to go with a red model (after Darrick went through all that trouble!). Darrick then worked with us to provide us an excellent deal that convinced us we didn't need to go anywhere else for a quote. Darrick had many customers in the dealership at one time (which is great for business!) but he kept checking on us and making sure we felt like we were being given good attention, as well. Darrick was friendly, professional, honest and very easy to work with. I will recommend Biggers Chevrolet to my friends and family as a result of the great experience we had today. Your customer told you that the car is a gift, and therefore the purchaser's name should not be listed in the title. This transaction could be a pleasant one. After all, filing complains to BBB and Secretary of State takes lots of time. Yeah yeah yeah, you may say that "what, you have problem with the price of the car?" I said , this is not a problem of the price - this is a serious problem of your work ethic. Look, this is about being professional, responsive to your customers. In theory, It doesn't matter how much the car is, you just sale that car and get your commission. You promise verbally that you are aware of the situation and you would try to accommodate your customer's need. You are lucky Gary, you were dealing with a decent,honest and hard-working person that actually believe in you. So what do I know now? yes, it is about the price. But most importantly, it is about doing the business the right way. You may get away this time, but many potential customers won't go to you or even your dealership. Your customer calls you almost daily to ask you and your dealership to correct the title mistake, why can't you really try to help your customer, instead of being so unhelpful?Is that what you call customer service, is this the reason what as your dealership claims that "we are consistently ranked in the top 1% of all dealerships in the nation for overall customer satisfaction in sales and service". I have yet to see a irresponsible and unethical car dealer like you. Shame on you.
