Excellent experiences at Better Buys Auto

We returned to Better Buys Auto recently as we had such a good experience six months ago when we bought from Dan. We were browsing the lot when Dan came out of the office and called us by name. Wow! Dan's lot has excellent options, newer vehicles and is knowledgeable about all the vehicles he offers. Our experience this week was just as good as the first experience. It is SO reassuring to know there is a GOOD used-car professional out there.

Best Dealership Experience Hands Down!!!!!

Back in December of 2015, my 2003 Nissan Maxima decided that it wanted to kick the bucket. I had recently changed careers and only working part time which made the situation a little worse. I knew I was interested in purchasing a 2009 Hyundai Sonata V6 and had actually went to another dealership right up the road from Better Buys Auto who asked me to come back in 2 hours to test drive their vehicle because they didn't have anyone until 4 to tend to my needs. Things happen for a reason because something directed me to this dealership. I gazed the lot and found what I was in search of! Dan treated me like a person and not just a dollar sign. He kept my father and I very informed on financing, paperwork and the vehicle itself. Dan bent over backwards when he didn't have to to get me the best price and best vehicle. Not once did I feel I was in a shady situation. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone who asks for a reference to a good dealer.

We bought a Volvo Xc90 about a month ago. I think we got the vehicle at a great price and so far it's been a great car. Dan is easy to deal with, no nonsense, no "let me check with manager" haggling. I will look here again when we buy again.

Great Experience!

Recently, we were searching for a used vehicle for our daughter. After looking at many cars and also driving into many of the car lots in the East Windsor area, we saw Better Buys Auto lot and were about to call it quits and go home but decided to swing in there and see what was on the lot. All the cars in the lot were clean, well advertised as far as repairs made and asking price. It was Sunday and we didn't expect anyone to be there but Dan was. It was the best last minute stop we made. Dan was no-nonsense and honest and he knew the car we were looking for was for our daughter and he expressed his understanding for our finding a safe car for her that would last for awhile as he had kids of his own. We had complete confidence that Dan would stand behind any car he sold us, even if something wasn't right after we drove it off the lot. When we picked up the car, he took the time to show our daughter all the functions of the car. We would definitely go back to Better Buys Auto in the future and would highly recommend them to friends and family. Thanks Dan!!

Clean Dealership, Friendly Service, Good Cars

Looking for a used SUV, we came across Better Buys Auto. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the dealership, selection, and low-pressure approach. Dan just handed us the keys and let us browse the offerings inside and out. We ended up purchasing a Honda CRV that was very well cared for. Dan even replaced the battery before delivery as a precaution even though everything seemed fine to us during the test drive. He scrutinizes every vehicle on his lot and we would not hesitate to recommend Better Buys Auto to anyone.

Such a wonderful experience, I had to share it.

Normally I don't review anything I ever buy, good or bad. But this time was different the minute I stepped through the front door and met Dan. He is a salesman unlike any other salesman I have ever met before. Besides his friendly, nice and at ease personality, he also threw me a curve ball by tossing me the keys to a Nissan Pathfinder and a Toyota Highlander, saying we offer a no pressure approach to car sales here, feel free to look at both cars and come get me if you have any questions. That right there was something that had never happened before in all my car buying experiences. But he was right, his cars are extremely clean and in great condition, both body wise and running. I was so impressed with the Pathfinder after test driving it, that I ended up signing the sales agreement right then and not bringing the wife back another day so she could see it. I only wish I had known about Dan and Better Buys a couple years earlier when I bought our other car but I definitely know where am going from now on. exceptional vehicles

me and my wife stopped in to look at the 5 Ford escapes that they had on cars.com upon arriving we were pleasantly pleased on the condition of all of them that they had,not only were they all in excellent condition they were all fully serviced and ready to go.we decided on a 2006 ford escape and 3 months later not one issue..were so glad we chose better buys auto.top notch place thanks Dan for a great vehicle will back soon my son will need a vehicle when he goes off to college next year

I Bought my first car the other day from this dealer and it was a great experience. Dan is a friendly guy, who helps make buying a car easy. He only buys good cars and then he puts some money into them, to get them into their best shape. He makes it so when you drive off the lot you can feel confident that the car you have is in excellent shape and will last you a long time. He is very informative making sure you know everything important about your car and how to take good care of it. He helps you out when it comes to the buying process, making sure you understand everything. Buying a car here was easy and I got a great car that I know will last.

What a great expirience!

Dan, the owner, and his son, Kevin, we're some of the best people I've had the pleasure of doing business with. My first interaction was with kevin was the test drive, after telling him what I was looking for. I love the car he suggested and 1500 miles later, i still do. Dan was extremely pleasant and able to get my lower credit score a proved for a loan through an actual credit union. I will be sending everyone to this diamond in the rough. Better Buys but the best people!

What a great, painless car buying experience. Mr. White was helpful in all aspects, from paperwork to making sure everything was in working order. He was very patient and didn't try to "Hard sell" his cars. I ended up with a Ford Focus Hatchback with lower mileage- just what I'd been looking for! I would definitely go there again., even though I live 50 miles away.

DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS PLACE

From the moment we walked in,dan and his son kevin were very friendly and very helpful. I had emailed dan asking for information about the ford escapes that they had on cars.com.i wanted additional information about the vehicles and wanted to find out if they looked and drove as nice as the ad stated. I wanted this info before traveling over an hour out to there dealership. He was very helpful and willing to email me all the information about the escapes he had and also included 3 carfax reports that i didn't expect to get.When I went in the next day,I met with dan. He was very nice and was able to answer almost any question I had about the Escapes. When he wasn't sure he was honest and found the answers for me.He had no problem with me wanting to test drive the three different escapes that he had on the lot,after the test drives we decided on a 2008 ford escape that looked and drove like new. amazing that they can find a 7 year old vehicle in near perfect condition,not only this one put many others we saw on his lot were nice,all there vehicles were fully serviced and ready to drive(you dont find that to often) the escape we purchased had 4 new tires,new brakes,and new struts just done a few days before.they posted in there ad not a ding on it!! and i looked for a solid 5 minutes to find one no luck.when we went to pick it up it was full of gas and clean.dan took care of the financing documents for us and was also helpful and efficient with all the purchasing paperwork! I would highly recommend this dealer to others!!! thanks for a great vehicle at a fair price will see you again on the next one

GREAT CARS GREAT PRICES AND GREAT SERVICE!!!

I have bought 2 Vehicles from Dan now. The first car was a 2005 Saturn Vue. The car was in perfect condition! It didn't even look like it had ever been driven. Dan made the buying process so easy!. He sold the car to me for a very reasonable price, and I was able to drive home with the car that same day! Dan is a great guy, I had minor issue with one of my calipers freezing up about a month after I purchased the vehicle, and Dan drove 45 minutes out of his way to bring me a caliper. It only took me about 10 minutes to replace the caliper, and after that I had no other issues with the car. My buying experience was so wonderful the first time that I ended up going back to Dan and buying another car from him. This time I bought a 2008 Saturn Vue XR. So far this car has been absolutely wonderful, and my second buying experience was just as great as my first experience. If I ever need a new car the first place I will go is Better Buys Auto, and I've been recommending this place to everybody.

We received excellent service and the owner has honesty, integrity and a standard excellence that is difficult to find these days. We purchased a 2008 Saab and he went through the car prior to purchase going above and beyond to make sure that the vehicle was ready for the road and for our son. When it was time to help my son buy his first used car I was a little nervous. I heard about Better Buys Auto through a friend and we found the perfect used car. The selection was pretty good and in a wide price range. We found a great car with low miles at a great price. Dan and Barry were awesome! High quality used cars

Went to Dan a couple weeks ago to buy a 2010 Jetta Wagon TDI. Gosh is the car beautiful, and I'm super thrilled with the purchase. Dan was personable and friendly, and up front about my car. I went in with the intention to buy, but he made sure I knew that the car needed a little service before he could let it off the lot. Dan loaned me a car while mine was serviced and kept me informed throughout the fix. I enjoyed the experience of buying a car from him, and his helpful staff.

A great place to buy a used car

We were looking for a low mileage good reliable and affordable used car for my grand daughter and couldn't find anything suitable near where we lived. After going on the web we came across BETTER BUYS AUTO of East Windsor who had a 2008 Elantra for sale which seemed to be what we were looking for. I went to East Windsor and looked at this car, it seemed perfect but I didn't know enough about cars to buy it. 2 days later I took my son in law who knows a lot about cars with me and we looked at this car and took it for a test drive. He decided that the car was in great condition so we went ahead and bought it. Dan, the owner of Better Buys Auto took car of the registration and did a couple of jobs on the car and delivered it to it's new home. When my grand daughter saw it for the first time she thought that it was a new car straight out of the showroom because it looked (and ran) so good. I can highly recommend this business and I know that if in the future I am looking for a used car, this will be the first place that I go to.
