Great customer service... how refreshing!

My service engine light came on. A local service place wouldn't help me and the dealer never called me back. I was referred to Lowell by a good friend. Lowell was pleasant, knowledgeable, and was able to address the issue right away. He made me feel comfortable as a lady. Something other garages should take note and teach their tech to do!

Once Again, Bennett's Goes Above and Beyond!

Once again, Bennett's Auto had gone out of their way for a customer! We had a vehicle emergency during a recent holiday weekend. We contacted Lowell, and even though no one was working in the shop that day, Braison gladly came in to take care of our vehicle. The next day, our daughter was able to transport she and her team members out of state to a college automotive competition as planned. We are forever grateful to Bennett's Auto and will continue to service all of our vehicles there! They certainly put their customers first!

When anyone asks me where to look for a vehicle, I have one answer, Bennett's Auto. Lowell and Sue are awesome to work with. When our "kid" car decided it was time to move on, we went and talked with Lowell about options. He provided us with honesty, integrity and respect while we looked for car options. In addition, Bennett's made sure the car was the right fit for us, including letting us keep it overnight and actually a couple days to drive it an make sure it is what we wanted. This is the second car we have purchased from Bennett's. It will not be our last, their service department is beyond excellent and you could literally eat off the floor of the shop. Too often, nowadays, good customer service is more recognized by its absence than its presence. I believe that when customer service is done in an exemplary manner, it should be acknowledged. After being frustrated with the large dealerships, I asked a friend where she took her car for service. She introduced my to Bennett's Auto. I started taking my car to Bennett's, and I was so pleasantly surprised by the time and attention they give to each customer. Lowell and his team really know cars and take the time to clearly explain the repairs needed. They are accommodating and schedule work at the time it is convenient for the customer. 5+ Stars - Best Auto Shop Around!

A local gem specializing in import vehicles! I own (2) late model Volvo's for my teenage drivers because they are safe and reliable. However, due to age and high mileage, they need a little TLC to keep running. Lowell, Dan and the crew are awesome to deal with because they not only know these vehicles inside and out, but also understand that their customers are not made of money. More than once they have found significant cost savings alternatives for a repair, or advised on how to avoid costly repairs down the road. One example was a fuel smell problem I had on the 2nd Volvo I regrettably purchased from a private owner. A larger, high profile local dealer wanted to fix a vacuum line in which they wanted to drop the whole sub-frame assembly costing over $1000. Bennett's identified the problem right away as the fuel pump was replaced incorrectly (by another shop) and re-seated the gasket around the fuel pump...my cost $120. In short, great small-shop morals with large-shop capabilities. I would recommend to anyone...worth the short drive to their country shop! I guarantee you will feel the same after visiting.

Great people to do business with!

I was very impressed with Bennett's from my first experience and it has only gotten better. We moved to the area last year and during the move the AC went out out on our mini van. After shopping around we decided on Bennett's. My wife, who knows a bit about cars, had to bring the van in for the repair. She always dreaded taking the car in because of bad experiences in the past with other dealers. She was thrilled with how she was treated by Bennett's and couldn't say enough about the service, honesty and value. I appreciated her experience and am thankful to have such a great business so close to my home. Because of this I chose to buy a car from Bennett's this month. My husband and I have been having our vehicles serviced at Bennett's Auto for the past 3 years. With 3 older vehicles and 4 drivers in our family, it seems we have a frequent need for some kind of repair or servicing. Throughout these past 3 years we have consistently received exactly that! Bennett's Auto is a company with integrity at the center of all they do... On very short notice we had to get a vehicle an oil change and new tires for an unexpected trip. When we contacted Bennett's they said to bring it in and they would fit it in, despite having a full schedule. They even got us a great deal on four new tires. That's why we keep returning to Bennett's over the years!

Excellent Customer Service. Used Volvo S40 is mechanically sound and in great shape. Vehicle was fairly priced. No hassling. Excellent trade in allowance for my previous vehicle. I would hihly recommend this dealer.

Used Volkswagen Purchase

We searched the Valley for a good used Jetta and ended up buying from Bennett's. The condition of the car was great for being 5 years old. We've had it now for a few months and no surprises - runs like a top. The customer service was outstanding. Lowell really took the time and provided a load of information along with the car. Nice selection of high quality cars - high quality dealer.

Customer Service is Outstanding!

I have always taken my car to the dealership to be serviced. However, last year, I became frustrated when I experienced an issue with my car, and they were unable to fix it. After having my car in 4 times for the same problem and no resolution, I decided to call Bennetts. A friend of mine had highly recommended Lowell and his staff, so I thought I would give them a try. I was so impressed with their personal service, their attention to detail, and their ability to identify root cause and fix the problem. Bennett's Auto has been servicing my 1999 Volvo V70 T5 for over 15 years and would highly recommend them to anyone. They do an excellent job of determining just what the problem is, offering suggestions as to the most cost effective way to fix the problem and them preforming the service is a professional way. My story is that when my husband knew he was dying of cancer 16+ years ago, he told .Lowell that he would buy this certain car on his lot, if Lowell would take care of my cars in the future. Honest staff, impecable facility, great service!

My family has been dealing with Bennetts Auto for service and buying vehicles for several years now. This past fall, my husband was looking to replace his old truck with a Chevrolet Colorado. I called and spoke with Heather at the front desk because I knew that they specialized in imports. She explained that they do specialize in imports, however they also service and sell domestic vehicles and would be happy to find us the vehicle we were looking for. Heather was very helpful in finding us the Colorado that my husband wanted and in a very short time we were able to go pick it up from Bennetts Auto. I cant say enough about Lowell and his staff. I drive a Durango and last month noticed a puddle in my garage. The mechanic Dan who worked on my Durango was very pleasant in explaining to me what the problem was. He took care of the radiator leak problem and I was only charged $55.00! I couldnt be happier with the honest staff that works at Bennetts Auto. We will continue to take our vehicles to Bennetts for repairs and when the time comes that we need to add another vehicle to our family for our children, Lowell will be the only place we will go to buy our future vehicles.

Outstanding Customer Service

We've been doing business with Bennett's Auto for several years now. I have to say that in addition to saving us significant money vs. the major dealerships on servicing and repair, the way the people at Bennett's Auto treat their customers is outstanding. They are always willing to accommodate us. The work they do on our vehicles is always first rate. The sales experience there is very pleasant as well. After doing a lot of shopping around, we ended up getting our most recent car from Bennett's.

Renewal of previous comment

I wrote the review concerning the S60 and S80 and the poor service I had received on my vehicles. I must now amend that review to state that the Owner, Lowell Bennett, went above and beyond to correct my poor service. After sending him an email, he called me to apologize and immediately drove to my home, picked up my car, and cured the mistakes previously made. In all honesty it ended up being a serious of unfortunate events that took place. He provided additional services at no cost (none that were required but made my vehicle better). Based on his response, reaction and services provided, I will now take all of my vehicles to Bennetts for repairs.

very impressed with my mazda 3. Looked for 3 months for the right used car in my price range and found it at bennetts. Family orientated and shop was cleanest ive ever seen and staff mechanics honest and helpful. Many comments on how sharp my car is and would recommend anyone to give bennetts a try.

Great Value - Good Experience

Purchased a 2001 Volvo S60 with 77,000 miles on it. It had some body goobers that didn't really show on the photos, but nothing that wouldn't be common for a 10 year old car. Heather was super helpful and sweet. One gentleman (sorry - don't remember his name) even went searching for a car manual in their attic so I'd have one. So far, the car is running great - pops right off in the cold weather. Drove over 250 miles and it was worth it.

Very open and honest; good selection of imports

Dealer is located in rural area just outside of Neenah/Appleton Wisconsin. We were very impressed with the cabdidness and integrity of the dealer. He has been in business for over 20 years and does most of his business through referals. He has his own shop (very clean and organized) and told us everything he did on the car and showed us the records to back it up. He offers a 30 day warrantee and is very easy to do business with. You will feel condident in buying your vehicle here.

Used car purchase

Just purchased a 2004 Volvo from Bennett Auto. Could not be happier with the owner and staff. Everyone was extremely friendly and knowledgable. In the event the car should need serviced we would definitely bring our car to them as they have expert mechanics that are well trained.

Finally!!!

For the last three months I have been to almost every dealer in a 50 mile radius (there was no rush on buying my car and I was taking my time) and this was by far the best. I have been to a few "no haggle" dealerships but this was the first to truly live up to that. I am not saying they are giving the cars away but the prices were more than fair and there were no big markups for me to negotiate through. In the end I bought a 2005 Nissan Pathfinder. I won't rattle on about all of the good things but the best part that stuck with me was when he explained that his prices were designed to make him a profit. Imagine that, a car salesman that doesn't think I'm so stupid that I will fall for the "I'm just giving the car away" routine. All I can say is it's refreshing to have a little bit of honesty and that's what I got from them. That being said, I was more than happy to let the Bennett family be the one profiting from the purchase (not to mention getting the car I wanted).
