I bought a certified preowned 2012 Camry LE from Basil Toyota at the end of 2014. Just a year and a half later, I recently took it in for a routine oil change and tire rotation. I was just told that my alignment was already off and needed to be realigned ($100). I was also told that my brake calipers were rusting and needed to be replaced as they were applying uneven wear to my brake pads ($105). The biggest kicker to me was that somehow the plastic tabs on my air housing assembly broke off and was only being held by the metallic tabs. It was $220 for changing out the part alone. I still can't understand how this broke off. It seems like it would require brute force from someone, and since I am rather automobile savvy, I am sure it was not me. I can't possibly blame the tech who worked on my car, but I am little wary on what's happening back in Basil's garage. I politely turned down all the above, but was frustrated that such issues are now present after I bought what I thought was a multi-point inspected pre-certified vehicle. I had an appointment scheduled for 11:30AM but walked out the dealership at 1PM, just for an oil change and tire rotation... Overall I do not think I am bringing back the vehicle I purchased from them to service again.

I am a proud member of the Basil Toyota family, repeat customer for many years and counting. To the family I've added my children and close friends. We always get great service with a smile. Clean, technology forward facility with great employees. Specifically Cris Jagielo, Talylor Tagliarini, and Scot Schoembs. Chris sold me my first car many years ago, made himself available, guided and directed me through and into the Basil Toyota family. Without any surprise he has been promoted to a managerial position. He has always been easy to talk to and he's a great ambassador to this fine establishment. After the promotion he led me to Scot. Like Chris he has been a knowledgeable dedicated component to Basil Toyota. As expected I continued to buy cars through him as well as sending him business through my family and friends. Lastly, I want to give credit to Taylor. He is friendly, fair, personable, easy to talk to, passionate about his job and the clients. He's down to earth and thoroughly explains the options available in order to protect your car while extending your coverage. He is a high character man by which I like doing business. Every time I am at Basil for service Chris, Scot, and Taylor all greet me making conversation and encourages me to visit them and come to them with all my needs. All service completed on my car has been outstanding. The service department like the entire facility is clean with employees who greets you with a smile and friendly dispositions. I proudly speak of Basil Toyota and will continue to guide everyone that I know is looking for a quality car and great service. Beautifully l facility and great people. I love Basil Toyota!

2016 4runner Limited .Changed my mind and received offer from Basil Toyota of Lockport, trading up to a 2016 4 Runner Limited, from my 2015 SR5 Premium. They let me take it for the night to work as mine was down for tire repair, and next day gave me a trade deal that I could not refuse. Thanks to everyone from Jamie, Chris, and Mike in sales, to Steve in service for letting me know of promotional deal in first place, and Jim in service for taking care of me with my 2015 to begin with. Also, a trustworthy finance guy in George. It never hurts to have quick, honest explanation of add-on service packages. James, a manager was overly gracious. Even met the owner, Mike, which I think is probably rare. Thanks again to all I was involved with. And there are many more. P.S. My ex used to tell me I`m a pain in the ankle when dealing with money. The best toyota dealership in the United States. From start to finish A+ all the way. I look but cannot find a simple thing wrong. The only thing that could be better is for their cars to be free. But they are a business though. They have the best sales people starting with Jamie. The best service.Cant name just one because all excellent. Customer calls has Danielle Doyle and she is best. The service team is awesome here...I've always had a great experience and they seem to actually care about you (have been going to this location for probably about 5 or more years now). I drive the extra 20-30 minutes from Buffalo to Lockport to get my Corolla serviced because it's worth it. No appointment necessary for oil changes and flexible hours make my life much easier. Although I didn't actually buy my Corolla here (was purchased in Rochester), I would definitely consider purchasing my next car from this dealership.

This was my second lease from Basil Toyota. I was given a great deal as I was able to lease a new 2016 Toyota Camry even though I had 5 months left on my 2013 Camry,and my payments are even less per month. Mike Otwell was the one who help me with this great deal. He was attentive to any concerns I had and made sure the whole process went smoothly and quickly. He reviewed with me the benefits of Toyota Car Care and the road side assistance. Mike also was the one I dealt with on my first lease from Basil.Because my experience was so good, I requested Mike again.when I visited the Basil. . Any time I took my car in for the routine maintenance, I found them attentive and friendly.. I like the idea that they check the alignment every time you take it in for service and give you a printout. I have been happy with all aspects of the dealership.

I don't often write reviews, but the guys at Basil Toyota really deserve some kudos. The premium experience begins when you drive into their pristine vehicle reception area -- a climate-controllled garage so clean you could eat off the floors. Next, one of their 4 or 5 service hosts comes out to greet you, get a little information and then leads you inside to set up your service appointment. From there you can wait in their fireplace lounge complete with free hot and cold beverages, big comfortable chairs and cable TV. You can check on things back home or at the office using their free Wi-Fi or the computer room. When your vehicle has been assessed, a technician will come out to find you and explain what your options are and exactly what things will cost, how much time it will take, ask if you want to continue to wait or would like a ride somewhere (they'll pick you up too!) -- and will give you options to fit your budget, although they are VERY reasonable with prices to begin with. When your vehicle is done, it will be waiting for you back in the reception area (usually a lot cleaner than when you drove it in) and you're on your way knowing they did an excellent job at a fair price. If anything is not to your liking, just call or drive back during their exceptional no-appointment-needed, late night and weekend hours. This is like no other auto service place I've ever visited. You owe it to yourself and to your vehicle (all makes and models, not just Toyota) to go there. They really are amazing!


25000 mile oil change and check up

Been there many times before for usually excellent service. This time I had a 25000 mile free oil change and check up that seemed to take quite a bit longer to complete than I had expected even though there were only a few people ahead of me. Also, upon return of my vehicle, the visual display for my AC and Heat was inexplicably changed to an unfamiliar look. I managed to figure out how to get it back to the way I had it after a few minutes of trying this and that, but I was a bit disappointed that this had happened in the first place. I guess I just wouldn't expect a service tech to return a vehicle to the customer without taking the time to revert any changes he made to the customer set up of visual displays. The service managers are very friendly as usual.

I bought my car 3 years ago. It hasn't needed any repairs. The only thing I've had to do is regular maintenance (tires, wipers, oil changes, etc). The sales agent that sold my car, James Porco, listened to what I requested and found me a car that was less expensive than the models I was viewing, on my own. It has been the best vehicle I have ever owned (out of 4 in my total history). It was exactly what I needed. He then called every year to check on my satisfaction and make sure I was happy with the car. He made no attempt to sell me anything or ask if I was ready for a trade in. It was just honest concern and friendly follow up. Not only would I buy my next car from Basil Toyota but I would buy from James Porco if he hasn't already been promoted.

We got our oil changed..LOF. The Service Manager was accommodating in adding air filter,etc. They Ck the wheel alignment ,courtesy. It was ok...showed test results....liked....upfront. Also, we requested a tire rotation, and they noticed the tire treds were low, again showing results of the high tech test. Helped to make an informed decision. The manager gave us a price for 4 tires...60,000 miles kind.And their was a sale on 4 for price of three. The price was good . They have a good warrantee. Lifetime rotation, replace tire if beyond repair in 1st yr.,half price during 2nd year. Overall I felt good about the visit.

I have serviced there our 2009 Toyota Corolla and 2003 Nissan Xterra. Brian Button in the Service Department is always very friendly and very knowledgeable. He is always there to go above and beyond to help, to explain the service required, suggest alternatives, and give whatever discounts they have available. The whole department is very efficient, and as is most of the personnel, friendly and knowledgeable, starting with the girls in the customer service answering the phone. The technicians are absolutely knowledgeable, they do their work quickly with a high quality.

Basil Toyota has been a great dealership for me. In 2012, they went above and beyond to get me a great deal on financing so that I could get the vehicle that I needed within my budget. The service department continues to deliver with friendly, attentive staff that listen to my concerns. The building and property are clean and well lit, there is a changing table and a tot seat in the ladies room, and fresh fruit and beverages are available in the waiting room. They've even come out with coloring books and crayons when my daughter isn't content to sit and watch TV. I'll continue to come to Basil Toyota, and Basil VW is right next door!

I bought a Subaru Impreza from them in May 2014. I love my car and was able to negotiate a good price with no hassles. I returned a few months later for my first free complementary oil change and they were very quick and courteous. In addition to the oil change, they fixed a few little cosmetic things on my car without me asking. Fair prices on the cars and service along with courteous staff would keep me coming back. I now see why my family has been going back to the Basil family for years. Would recommend them to anyone.

Came in to just test drive a car, we were shopping around . We never left due to the fact we were convinced that this was the best place to a used vehicle. The one we went to drive started out on the questionable category, the battery was dead, but we were still interested because of the low mileage. We were about to leave because we wanted to shop around when we were approached that they could give us a better deal not only on the asking price but also a lower apr. than what we came in with. Only problems were the when we were offered the add-ons(accessories,warranty) and declined I could see them starting to lose their composure. I have been retail for 15yrs, my husband 25+yrs. and we know from experience the customer is always right. We were told no money down but then that changed and said it was to cover the cost of dmv fees. I say be upfront with buyers, get to know their needs, don't pressure anyone into buying, like I say we were on our way out when we were approached with a deal. Loved the deal, just didn't care for the way it was done. I bought a car a week ago locally and was treated better, no pressure buying,clean vehicles on the lot. Like the title says good/bad. Thanks for reading.

I am a retired military veteran and currently working for the federal government. I have purchased my share of used cars in many different states. I purchased a used 07 RAV4 on Aug 9 for my teenage daughter. I was told that each used car vehicle undergo a 160 point inspection. I even allowed the credit manager to talk me into purchasing an extended warranty for $1690.00, mainly because I dont want my daughter to have vehicle problems in future while away in college. Well, two weeks in and the A/C belt started squealing. I took the vehicle in on a Monday after work and was told that they did not have a belt in stock and for me to come back on Saturday. I returned on Saturday and after an hour of diagnosing the noise. I was told that it might be the A/C pulley and that they needed to call it in to verify if its under warranty. I was not concerned at the time, thinking I just purchased the car and an extended warranty. It must be covered under the two options. The service staff even gave me a loaner for the weekend. I later learned on Monday that the problem was not covered under either warranty and was told mechanically there nothing wrong with the car and that it was safe to drive. The squeaking was getting louder. I then called customer relations and spoke to Amy, who was supportive and agreed with me that I should be happy with a newly purchased vehicle. She advised me that she would speak to both the sales and service manager and get back to me. After four hours with no phone call, I called back and spoke to a gentleman. I did not recall his name. He also was supportive and stated that he will get back with me on a resolution. He called back in ten minute and stated that he was told that there is nothing they can do, because the problem was not under warranty. He changed from customer advocate to loyal employee. I fully under his action, because Basil signs his paycheck. I took the car to my loyal auto repairs shop downtown and was told that the serpentine belt is going bad and had belt dressing on the surface. I had it changed and the squealing was reduced, but still persists. They suspect it might be the A/C pulley also, which Ill get it repair next week. As a member of management, I understand that sometimes negative feedback dont allows make it up to management. In any business customer loyal is paramount, not only for repeat relationship, but word of mouth referrals. Basil has failed me on their lack of customer service and not standing up to their products. I hope some member of management get to read this rebuke. I am not criticizing Toyota products. I own a Sequoia and a Camry and they are both great vehicles. I am also in the market for a Venza in the near future and you can bet I wouldnt be visiting Basil Toyota in Lockport, NY.

Not only is the staff efficient and knowledgeable but the surroundings are also. I have purchased Toyotas over the last 10 years or so. All three cars have been fine along with the service. There was a free dinner and training night which was a pleasant experience and the information was useful. The food and the info has always been fine but this year's was the best. The free service for maintenance (Toyota Care) is fantastic. It is easy to schedule and not a long wait for your car. There is always fresh fruit and beverages while you wait...nice touch! Extras like help with programming GPS or hooking up phones are done anytime with a smile. The salesman, James P. has been always been knowledgeable and followed up on questions. I am pleased that he has received a promotion and am sure that the new sales person will be just as effective. cm

The service department is friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. What I appreciate most is they do not have a maintenance schedule they push on clients to follow. They recommend changing fluids, etc when needed, not based on mileage like many other places. The facility is dog and kid friendly with fresh fruit for snacks and a bathroom with a changing area Added bonus, is a tot seat in one of the stalls so mom can have her hands free and doesn't have to worry about her baby crawling under the stalls and touching everything (thank you)! The turn around time for basic maintenance is quick so waiting time is limited. My favorite dealership so far and I've lived in a few places and drive a lot, so I'm in for a lot of oil changes.

Just purchased our 2014 Highlander. This is the fifth Toyota our family purchased from Basil Toyota. Kudos to both Taylor Tagliarini, sales consultant, and Adam Beck, sales manager. Both made purchasing this vehicle a very positive and enjoyable experance. When we picked up our vehicle, Taylor made sure that my wife and I were filmiliar with every option of our new car. The pride he takes in his work is remarkable. This is our second Highlander. Our 2014 Highlander is the best car we ever owned. Go Basil!

Went there with my mom on a Thursday to look at a couple of vehicles I saw listed online, not expecting to buy. None of us were happy with my first vehicle or the service from another dealer, and we still owed four years of payments on it. Test drove both vehicles and decided which I liked better, all while not being pushed to finance. They knew it would be difficult for us to do so since we still owed so much, but the vehicle I liked was in our driveway by Friday. They did what they could for us and it worked out. Everyone was impressed by the service and the vehicle, including my dad who was very cautious because of our previous experiences, and my brother who is a "mopar no car" kind of guy. Very pleased. Definitely would refer anyone, and return myself. Also the whole experience was rather comedic, as all of the sales people were split into two teams. The teams had to carry a can of beans that got bigger each time they lost. My dad offered to buy the beans with the vehicle off of the sales people. It was an expensive can of beans.

I went there with my daughter on Thursday night and an older gentleman "greeted" us with nothing more than a can I help you? it was hoe he said it , like we were a bother. wanted to buy my daughter a rav-4 but it seemed as though there was no true salesman ship. It was my second stop and I had just left northtown were the young lady there was excited, nmot pushy and made the entire process far from painful. IF you are shopping for a Toyota don't bother here.

Purchased a 2014 Tacoma pickup. My salesman, Fritz, was knowledgeable, personable and a pleasure to deal with. I was able to negotiate a fair price for my trade and the new Tacoma. I don't feel as though I "stole" the truck, but I do feel that I got a reasonable deal and was treated respectfully. Can't ask for more than that. Five stars all around for these folks.

We have now leased two vehicles from Basil Toyota (2013 Camry and a 2013 RAV4) and we have been very pleased with them. Our experience with the salesperson during our first lease was so positive that we went back to him the second time as well (Jordan). He made the process simple and explained all the numbers to my satisfaction and answered every question we had. We also had car starters installed in both vehicles and the first follow up appointment as well. Everything went off without a hitch. Very little waiting, and friendly service. Buying a Toyota is kind of a no-brainer, so choosing a dealership is really the toughest decision to make in the process. I feel like we picked a winner with Basil.

Great service department. They can always accommodate my appointments and my million questions such as is my Toyota Care and Road Side Service valid in Canada. They offer rust inhibitor protectant. Their waiting room is also great - very big and connected to the showroom, so we can easily walk around and check out the new cars without feeling pressured. They offer free wi-fi and free refreshments. The only improvement I would recommend is to wash my car with oil changes. It would be nice to drive away with a shiny vehicle.

I have some financial restrictions do to retirement but the prices of repairs are high no matter where we go. If I pay top dollar, I want the best and we get it here at Basil. I bought a Toyota Camry 2012 last week. After I bought the car, I realized that it came with only one key with no spare keys. When I contacted Basil staff they told me that the car was supplied with only one key since it was bought at an auction! I was upset about this. However I contacted Mr Shannon, General manager with Basil. He was extremely cooperative and promised to give me a spare key. Very happy to note that the Basil staff great after sales service. I looked online and saw my new baby...I sent them an email and I was contacted immediately (with an offer to test drive). I received the call on a Sunday....Monday I test drove the vehicle, Tuesday I drove home with it. I started off 2014 in a nice "new to me" vehicle...and I was not pressured to buy it! This was the most secure, efficient car buying experience. My vehicle is covered from bumper to bumper. I bought a 2010 Toyota Venza. I love the car. There was an issue with the paint on the car - the dealer is taking care of that at not charge. From the charming salesperson - Filip, to the finance manager Chris, I got the best deal and am very pleased. I highly recommend this dealership...and they have the friendliest phone staff I have ever dealt with! That sets the tone for the entire experience there...an the customer service person Kiana was quick with contacting me!

Our first time buying a brand new vehicle. Our salesman gave us all the information we needed to decide between lease, used or new. He was AWESOME in his knowledge, friendliness and helpfulness and all without feeling pressured. I will definitely go back for my next vehicle. We leased a Prius and have been thrilled with the vehicle and the followup from the dealership. We just took the Prius in for scheduled maintenance and the staff was excellent. They offered us complimentary hot beverages while we waited in the homey feeling waiting room. TV, fireplace, free Wi-Fi and comfortable seating. WOW! Our salesman again came over and asked us how things were with the car. He was exceptional in his treatment of us as was all the friendly staff. This is the place to go if you are looking for a vehicle. Ask for Jordan as he is an exceptional salesman with no pressure and plenty of knowledge.

Took my Tacoma truck here for 30K service and detailing. Truck looks fantastic and on top of that Steve provided me a $30 coupon for the detailing. Later I got home and found two more coupons sent to me in the mail, called the dealership and they honored those too. I ended up saving $50 from the bill. Although appointment had been made well in advance it was necessary to make a last minute change and service department was able to make change for me with no problem. Bought a new 2013 Camry Hybrid some months after having a 2008 Camry Hybrid. The buying process was relatively simple as I was already very familiar with the hybrid and only had to discuss the differences occurring from the 2012 redesign. I recently brought it back for the 5000 mile checkup and the service was quick. I reported a cabin road noise problem (in my opinion) relative the the drivers side. The technician spent quite a bit of time test driving the car along with other tests with nothing being found. The service manager explained the next step would involve an extensive process which might or might not reveal a problem. I elected not to proceed as the noise only occurs when on a "noisy" road and is not a serious problem. However the staff did work very hard to investigate and, to me, represents an honest effort to satisfy the customer.

This is my first Toyota and can say I wish I'd done it sooner. The sales staff, maintenance department, and everyone there friendly and supportive. I bought a 2011 in Jan. 2013 but was surprised that my air filters weren't included free since the car had not yet reached 30,000 miles.. Otherwise, no problems, and will go back to them again. Great people selling a great product, what more could you ask for!

Very friendly and speedy service department. Took my car in my oil change/tire rotation. They found wheel needed alignment (no charge because it was under warranty!!). Great customer service.

After much research,and trips to multiple dealers where the salesman had to run off to the manager multiple times with haggling, A fair deal,with cost lower than the other dealers,was made over the internet with mister Walter cook. The price was fixed and my car delivered in a satisfactory amount of time. I was introduced to a salesman, Tim Secrest, who went over the vehicle with me. Very pleased with the process

We want to say that we were unhappy to learn that the cabin air filter was not included in our 2 year free maintenance. Also, unlike our FLorida dealer, the car was not washed.

This was my first experience leasing a car. Salesman Bill P. was very knowledgeable. Patient also. Let me drive three cars to explain the merits of each. That was the easy part. When I chose the 2013 Camry he was a real pro at navigating me through the paper maze. It quickly became a done deal! Then the accessories expert helped me choose the extras I wanted . The financial gal was a wizard. She must have to explain the same details endlessly but made me feel comfortable and quite brilliant. While all that being done,Bill had DMV and insurance work finished! We cleaned out my old car and then Bill walked me through my new car, from B 2B, in Basil terms! He helped me program the radio AND my Bluetooth! Magnificent! I am totally thrilled with whole Mike Basil team. All five star. Everyone seemed sincere in their efforts in customer satisfaction. Great synergy. I feel confident that my car will be serviced well from this team. A great day for me.

Although we have driven Toyota's for 30 years, this is the first time buying from Basil Toyota, and we couldn't be happier about the experience. We had been searching for a Toyota dealer for our car repairs, and after going to several Toyota dealers, came back to Basil due to their excellent service department. They treated us like we had purchased our cars at Basil, which we had not. This led us to return to them to see about getting a replacement for our Rav4. Tim Secrist took excellent care of us and worked out a deal with us that was more than fair and reasonable, which allowed us to get a 2013 Rav4. The gentleman that explained the available accessories was thorough and helpful and yet did not pressure us in anyway. Chris Jagielo did an excellent job of handling the financial paperwork. Everyone we met was extremely helpful and friendly.

First all this is is the most beautiful dealership in WNY hands down! Extremely state of the art and incredibly clean. Cal Tobias was very professional and you can really tell he cares about his customers. I was also introduced to the manager before we sat down to crunch numbers, and that made me feel good/important. Usually they seem to be in a hidden office where the salesman runs back to every 5 minutes. I would recommend this dealership to anyone.

They posted an obviously incorrect price on the internet ("Cars.com"), but when contacted they give an actual price that is $26220 more than the advertised price. And, after double checking, the advertised price has not changed. I will not trust them to honor any deal they may offer.

Went there for there for the 1st and LAST time. Would ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMEND them to ANYONE. We thought we were possibly close to making a deal and when we decided to trade in our vehicle; the price went UP... are you kidding we said?? When we told the salesman we were not on the same page.. he said yeah I know... we got up and walked out. He never said another word - call to follow up or anything. VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTED !!!!
