We've had our 09 Tribeca serviced here since we moved to Mandeville in 2012. Service is always top notch, but when we found out our car was part of Takata recall, we were even more impressed at the professionalism, flexibility and attentiveness of Baldwin's Service Department as they helped us navigate the recall and repair process.

Buying out of state isn't for everyone but for us the details are extremely important. The internet process was good although somewhat confusing to get actual coverage and exacts until on site at dealership - That is when the 5 star began with Andrew Reeves picking us up on time and very personable and attentive to all questions. We could tell he Loved selling for Baldwin Motors. The purchase was great and we are pleased with the dealership we chose. Small town Service but Big town cars - don't pass up Baldwin Motors stop in and have a chat with some of the staff - there is a good chance you will drive off in the car you will love for years to come. I searched online and found this Subaru dealer, about 70 miles from my house. I do not regret my choice, as the dealership and owner represent what an automobile dealership should be. The owner has taken time to welcome me and thank me for my business. the sales person was interested in helping me and there was no pressure to buy. The service is top quality. the extra miles to get service is well worth the time spent.

Our experience was excellent. The salesman (Kevin Nicolle) and everyone with the dealership were extremely friendly. When we arrived to complete our purchase, all of the paperwork was prepared - ready to sign, and our car was sitting in the front of the showroom ready to drive away. The salesman gave us an instruction session on the features that were new to us and waved as we drove off. He stressed that if we needed any additional information, to call any time. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

I would like to tell you how extremely pleased I am with the service I received from Baldwin Motors Subaru dealership this past week. I live in Ohio, and have a vacation condo in Gulfport, Mississippi, where I was staying when the Check Engine light in my 2012 Outback came on. Unfortunately, there is no Subaru dealership in Gulfport so I had a choice between taking my car to Mobile, or to New Orleans. I called Baldwin, pretty much at random, and I'm glad I did. The person I reached on the phone was helpful, and set me up an appointment for Monday morning. When my wife and I got there, we met Gracey Ledford, who was as helpful as a person could possibly be. She wrote up the service order, and showed us to the lounge, offered coffee or water, and pointed out the wi-fi availability. We waited for about an hour while the problem with our Outback was diagnosed, then Gracey came out and said, We need to get you into a car. The problem was going to take some time to fix, so she set us up with a very nice Legacy, and told us to enjoy it while our Outback was being fixed. As it turned out, it took a week to get parts and fix our car, and we did indeed enjoy driving the Legacy. We stayed in touch with Gracey, and when it was all over we came back to Baldwin and picked up our Outback. All in all, it was about as pleasant an experience as we could have imagined with a broken car, and most of the credit goes to Gracey Ledford. From beginning to end, Gracey acted as if her only priority was to make sure we were inconvenienced as little as possible, and she and Baldwin Motors certainly showed they had our best interests at heart. When we first had trouble with the Outback we were a little put off by the absence of a Subaru garage in Gulfport, and we started to think maybe our next car wouldn't be a Subaru. This experience with Gracey Ledford and Baldwin Motors may change our minds about that.

I purchased a Subaru Outback & can honestly say it was the easiest & most pleasant car buying experience I have ever had! The saleman & business manager went out of their way to help me. I was planning to sink money into my 12 year old car so it would be safe to drive on a long trip while I waited for an Outback to be ordered. The business manager searched the country for the car I wanted, found it, then sent for it. I had my brand new Outback in time for my trip & didn't have to spend another cent on my old car. I could not be happier! Baldwin Subaru has a fabulous team of personnel! I HIGHLY recommend them!!

I was due a maintenance visit, but had to travel for work and could not do without my car. Then I got a flyer in the mail that said a loaner could be made available, there was on available and this worked out great! So I decided to have my Lincoln's 165,000 mile check up done this day and leave it the three days I would be away and the results are as follows: The communications once I left my car with Baldwin was great, I had no cell phone, but email worked just as good, I was impressed especially the approval or not now approval form send along with the email message and included the estimate of each item this was just great information to make a sound decision. customer Robert Babin 5/15/2015

I was headed back to Houston on a long road trip to Georgia when the engine overheated suddenly. It was too late in the day to bring it in. I was planning to spend the night at a hotel, when a stranger invited me to spend the night at her place instead. So next morning I had my car towed to Baldwin Motors for service. When I arrived, I learned that all auto repair shops in Covington are closed on Saturday and I would have to wait until Monday to get any service. I explained to Pam Tarver that I needed to get home to Houston for work Monday. She apologized for the inconvenience, pointing out that there were no mechanics available until Monday. My hope of getting on the road again crashed; and I began to resign myself to the fact that I would need to continue to camp out in a stranger's home for another day or two. At the least, Baldwin would do a diagnostics check to determine the kind of service required and let me know. That was about 8:30 am. About 30 minutes later, Pam returned with news that the problem was a leaking water hose valve and clamp. That meant that there was no major repair involved. So, I approved the repair estimate and Pam referred to work to her capable Saturday crew and they had me on the road before 10:00 am, I'm thrilled to say. When I related the details to my wife, who was still in Georgia at her parent's home, she suggested that from now on, when I need my Mountaineer serviced, I should stop at Baldwin on my way to and from Georgia.

Not many cars, few incentives on Subarus, and they appraised our trade a few thousand less than any neighboring dealership (the only one that did this). Other than that we had a good experience there, but obviously didn't purchase there. We understood that Subaru sells it's cars differently, and seems to be a good brand - didn't expect the trade-in matter.
