My aunt and uncle were passing through in a 1986 Vanagan and their headlights went out. Steve gave us a quote and an estimated time to complete. The work was completed quick and the cost was less than quoted. Communication was great and service was excellent. I thought they'd be stranded for much longer being that the vehicle was older, but they had two mechanics that knew that vehicle very well.

Brought car in because of no lights on the dashboard. Found 2 "faults" on the diagnosis, but could not fix these. Wanted 4 hours and another $400 to "further diagnose." Crazy I am not! This is the second time this dealership has pulled this stunt. No way was I spending $500 to figure out why dash lights don't come on! This dealership also overcharged me for my Beetle when it was new. I was paying cash and when the car came in, the salesman said he could sell the car immediately if I didn't get down there that day. ( I should have let him.) When I got there, the sticker mysteriously disappeared. I will NEVER deal with ANY Autonation company again.

I was satisfied with the service, however, my check engine light turned on shortly thereafter. I had a bad experience with the VW Dealership in Henderson. They disconnected the wire the shows the outside temperature right by the gauges. Then wanted to come back and were going to charge an arm and a leg to fix it. Luckily, my friend searched hard enough to find it that same day and just connected it again. So after that, I was told that when you service your cars you need to watch to make sure the job is done, and ask for any parts taken off, and that often times the service workers will mess with something to have you come back. So hopefully now the check engine light will turn off soon.

I was referred to this dealership by another dealership in another state. I found the car I liked and needed here.Yoshwa Shields was knowledgable and concerned that I got the car that fit my needs, but was also the best for me personally. I am very pleased with this low milage well kept car. I also like its quality and design. It is quiet smooth and has every feature I want and is user friendly. The knobs and handles even seem right. Yoshwa Shields is the go to guy! I came to AutoNation at VW and was greeted by Yoshwa who was very professional and easy to talk to. I told him the type of car I was interested in and within a few minutes we were test driving. I ended up finding my new car that day and the entire process went so smooth. He explained all of the paperwork with me and kept me updated along the way. There was no haggling so I didn't feel like I was being cheated. I feel so lucky to have found AutoNation. Christopher Guilkey immediately greeted us when we walked into the service lane. Very nice and as us what the problem was and listen to everything we had to say. When told us not sure how long it's gonna take to find the problem, we waited in the lounge which they provided complimentary water bottles, coffee, and DONUTS!!! I mean what can be better then that?!?!? All in all it took about 2 hrs and they wash and tire shine your car too. Excellent job guys!

The only reason I haven't sued them is because there is a helpful sales guy, Robin. If it wasn't for him, they would deserve zero stars. Their service department is a combination of incompetence and dishonesty. I had my jetta towed in for what should have been an easy 3 hour job, but after a week later they gave me the car back and I ended up stranded again because of the same issue only 2 hours after picking it up from the service department... Janine, the service manager, has no management or customer service skills. My car still has issues that I think are related to those terrible repairs and I am still waiting for the reimbursement check that they promised. Between the fact that VW lead me to believe I was buying a "green car" that is actually polluting 10 to 40 times what the EPA allows and the fact that their local "reputable" dealer is dishonest, I decided that while this is not my 1st VW, it will be my last.

Awesome experience with service department and Jake Conlee! We hit something on our drive from Reno to LV. Made it to the dealership and it was clear that we were not going anywhere else. My car was totaled in an accident in Vegas so I needed to find a replacement car within a week or so. After trying more than a few dealers in Vegas (and out of state dealers), I finally found a great price on a car at AutoNation VW. I checked out the CarFax, then drove to the dealer early on a Friday morning. I talked with the internet sales rep, Tyler, first (didn't see any other sales reps around). He had a no nonsense approach and was not pushy. He and the sales manager answered my questions, then Tyler took me out to look at the cars they had on the lot. We test drove one that I liked and I let them know I was interested so then we talked price. After the sales manager and I agreed on a price the paperwork began. Luckily for me, Tyler and the rest of the team didn't mess around when I told them I had a good deal on financing and didn't need to hear there finance deal. Although they did try to beat my rate, after a few minutes, they realized I wasn't interested and didn't push it. Overall, I think I got a great deal on a great car and so far I've been happy with everyone I dealt with at AutoNation VW. I'll admit that reading some of the reviews made me nervous, but so far so good. I've texted issues w Tyler that he resolved quickly and also took the car by the store to have them help me learn what 'normal' VW things its doing. After teaching me about it, I'm feeling smarter about the car (its my first VW). The only minor issue I had was that I think the car was rushed through wash/detail since I was waiting out front for it and it hadn't been detailed yet when we drove it. It looked ok (that's why 3 stars for quality of work) when I left, but after a day you could tell they missed some spots due to rushing to get the car done. I'll update this review later if I have anything more to add.

I contacted AutoNation VW as I was shopping for a new car, my 2012 Jetta lease due to expire in June 2016. I had gotten a price from the other VW dealership in town and was probably going to finalize that deal when I saw the TV ad for AutoNation VW. I contacted AutoNation VW by email and almost immediately heard from Tyler Cloud Tyler emailed and called me as well.I told Tyler what I was looking for, what type of car I was driving and how much I wanted to spend a month as well as what his competition was going to do. Tyler assured me that AutoNation VW would get me what I wanted and at a better price.I have to say I figured they would match the other dealers offer or better it by a few dollars. I was really surprised when we went to AutoNation, met Tyler and the finance Manager Robin. Both guys were extremely knowledgeable, very friendly and not hardcore sellers. I would RECOMMEND AUTONATION VW, TYLER CLOUD and everyone that I have encountered there. I got the car I wanted for less than the other dealership was offering per month with less down as well...but I feel that Tyler was really interested in getting me what I wanted, not just another sale. This is my 5th VW and my 4th Jetta lease!! I have been through this process before and this was probably the easiest and most pleasant negotiation for a new lease, Robin was really great too! My husband was equally impressed as well. My daughter who drives a 2006 Jetta is going to be looking for a new car and I will highly recommend that she call Tyler Cloud and AutoNation VW. I know they will give her the best deal. Tyler didn't just sell me the car, he has followed up with me since and helped with syncing the bluetooth for me as well. I feel that Tyler and everyone at AutoNation VW are there for me if I have any questions or concerns now and in the future. They have my future business!!

I purchased a NEW 2015 Jetta. After a couple days we noticed a clicking noise coming from under the car. Took it to service right away. They said it was coming from the exhaust system and that it was "normal". HOW? I have had many cars over the years and I have never heard that noise in any of my cars. The salesman was John Arnold and Doug Saxton, they never disclosed this information. Would of I bought the car knowing this, NO! I called VW customer care and they gave the same lame response "that it is normal and some cars do that" and they told me to get a second opinion. This is 2015 Jetta and I'm getting second opinions. If you want to buy a VW just be aware that its going to have a clicking noise coming from under the car.

We were in the market to buy our 16 year old daughter a vehicle. We narrowed it to a Beetle, Fiat and MINI. We initially started on the internet and Tyler Cloud replied within 1 minute to our inquiry. When we arrived at AutoNation, Tyler was courteous, extremely knowledgeable and a real pleasure to work with. He showed us a 2012 Beetle, fully loaded and super low miles (4K). We went and looked at other dealerships but none of them could match this vehicle. Tyler kept in touch and really worked hard to show us that he and AutoNation wanted our business. We bought the vehicle and our 16 year old is over the moon. The car is super fun to drive and we really enjoyed working with all of the folks at VW. It really was an Awesome Experience!!

Had some engine lights on in my car, took it to this VW and Tyler Marvin was my service agent, he did a marvelous job on explaining everything to me and getting me everything I needed. He also went above and beyond in helping me when I left some items there with either looking for them or finding them and returning them to me! My car was going to need to be down for a few days so they were able to get me a loaner car and I was out of there in a reasonable amount of time, my car was also fixed within a reasonable amount of time as well :) I will be going back to this VW if I have anymore problems arise based of their standard of customer service over others! Go see Tyler if you need service, he is the best service advisor and will take care of you!

As we currently had a 2011 Jetta TDI, we were thinking about a 2015 model with a few more bells & whistles. We called Robin at AutoNation VW and discussed what we wanted. Robin found a beautiful 2015 Jetta TDI SEL in the color and with the options we wanted. Jenn (sales manager) was warm and welcoming and treated us like family. After going over the deal and our trade-in without much dickering, we went home in our new car in about 3 hours -- record time for us! The rebate and zero percent financing sealed the deal (thank you Volkswagen!). How can you refuse zero percent financing?!?! We didn't have to put out any money, which is hard to believe these days.This was our second new car purchase at AutoNation and was a very good experience. We felt we were treated like old friends. The only thing missing is ringing the bell when the deal was done. Please bring back the bell!

I shopped around extensively for the exact vehicle I wanted and compared prices within a 500 mile range. Knowing I travel through or near some major cities, I was willing to travel to save several hundreds of dollars. Well I did just that. The Boise dealership was rude and insulting. I tried Twin Falls and they were somewhat more helpful but couldn't hit the price marked. I had several in the ballpark, and almost purchased at Findley North in Las Vegas, but they were deceitful and less than forthcoming on details and pressuring me to make a deal without knowing what I was buying. I started txting, yes txting AutoNation on a vehicle I wanted. They located the vehicle I wanted gave me a price $250 cheaper than anything else I found (and $700 cheaper than my local dealership - OUT THE DOOR). We made a deal (again, via txt), We flew into VEGAS BABY, Delilah picked us up at the airport, signed for my car and drove off into the sunset. Yes, as easy as that!

This car is like the perfect girlfriend. Serious when she needs to be but ready to go out to have fun when you can. The experience at AutoNation in LV was exceptional except for one glitch that was quickly corrected. I could not be happier with the vehicle or the dealer. I liked the no nonsense transparent transaction. I don't mind paying a little more just to avoid the silliness of negotiating what amounts to 1 or 2% of the purchase price. I think being treated intelligently and with respect goes a long way. Everyone helped me get what I wanted and I don't begrudge them a profit.

I have a 2010 VW Eos I got not too long ago, I started hearing a strange noise coming from the transmission. I took it to a VW dealer in the NW part of town Findlay VW to be exact. They kept my car for several hours told me nothing was wrong with my car and charged me $186 for labor and time. I wasn't happy with that so I waited a few months and brought it to W Sahara Auto Nation VW for the same sound and a second opinion. Same thing, they had it for a few hours and also told me its the type of transmission that the sound was normal. Well I took my second opinion as an all good. Coming prepared to give up another $186 I was taken back that they didn't charge me a dime! Guess who won my trust, respect and future business. I even drove out of my way to pick up a bottle of coolant from them today. Thanks Auto Nation VW! Happy customer!

C. Moser worked with me for nearly six months before I finally pulled the trigger. The only reason I bought from a dealer 450 miles away from my home was that this guy really earned my business. He even picked me up at the airport when I came to get the car. I was interested in learning the maintenance procedure for changing oil and filters and Mr. Moser arranged for me to spend some time with one of the technicians in the back. My husband and I were on our way to California for a vacation at Disneyland, when the transmission on our Nissan Sentra broke down. After getting the mechanic's estimate, we determined it was better to buy a new car. We worked with both Robin and AJ, and they were excellent! started a trip to las vegas and on the way there my car started not running very well and the check engine light went on. got to the dealer at 3:30 on a saturday. Instead of telling me there is nothing that could be done until monday. They took my car into the back and changed the fuel injectors and got me back to my nieces birthday party by six. and also washed my car. A. a toll road transponder was left in the car I traded in, just a few hours later if was never found.B. the license plates were not removed and distroyed on my trade in, as I was " Assured " they Would be. The car ended up in Los Angles collecting numerous parking tickets. $ 700 later In Lawyer fees the problem was resolved.C. When you buy a " Certified Used Volkswagen your supposed to get both sets of keys. Never Received the second set, and after arguing with the Sales Mgr I finally was given the Valet key Which magically appeared. Gee it must have programmed itself in his desk drawer.D. I also bought the extended 100,000 mile warrenty, but was given no paperwork. After dealing with The VW Customer Care people, the paperwork arrived 3 months later.E. Also bought a after market Rear view mirror with remote garage door opening from them. It was Installed incorrectly and it cost me another 50 bucks to have the problem corrected.See they have now changed their name, but I will never return.

First off...I am very excited to be a part of VW family! It was a painless, easy, extraordinary experience! Jennifer Matthews (Internet Sales Manager) was on top of her game! During the first phase of meeting Jennifer, she made me feel like I was already a part of the AutoNation VW! She did not pressure me at all and she even made sure that I understood everything about my new VW purchase! Steve was very courtesy during the trade-in discussion. Stratton Pang (Finance Manager) was fabulous! He discussed all of the options very precisely. Jennifer then explained all functions of my new vehicle! This is the first time i bought a used car. My agent name is Jared. He is a very nice guy. Because this is the first time i buy a car, i have no idea about the process. I told my situation to Jared. He offer my various of options to get the car, he didnt push or stress me on one option. He also help me out on insurance n warranty purchase. The service he provided was comprehensive. And thanks for his patient of answering lots od question from me(some were kinda annoying,sorry about that). I already recommend it to my friends. As a first time car buyer, walked into VW to just look at the Jetta and the Passat. Was greeted warmly by Yoshwa Shields, and shown a 2013 dark grey Passat in the showroom. He was able to answer any and all my questions, and immediately I fell in love with this car. Not only was I informed of the 5 star safety rating, but the car had everything I wanted (bluetooth, navigation, sleek interior, leather seats, clean exterior), and I didn't feel like I was being pressured to buy. Took the car for a test drive, and my mind was made up. That specific dark grey Passat was discounted about $3000 that day; however, I wanted the Passat in white. I left the dealership to look at other cars but ended up returning back to VW. They checked my credit and to my joy, found the white Passat discounted to the price of the dark grey one. The rest of the day took a while with paperwork and logistics, but I left with my first brand new car and a positive relationship with Yoshwa. Happy VW camper right here :)

Estimate to do service was almost $4000 for timing belt, electrical sensors, and other misc. service. Findlay did the same list for $1400. They said my beetle couldn't be aligned without new strut bushings, but Findlay said they were fine and able to align. I don't like overpricing and lies.

A great group of people to work with from sales to service. We are on our 7th VW from Desert VW - now AutoNation Volkswagen of LV - and we aren't done yet. Doesn't matter if you wander into the dealership or opt out for cooler "internet" shopping (love you Jennifer!) - you'll get a great car at a fair price with outstanding service follow-up (Chad is the Service Guru Extrordinaire!). This was the only non-negative car buying experience I have ever had. The Salesman (Ramon) worked with me on what I wanted. I was not pressured into their financing or to consider other cars I didn't express an interest in. I recommend this dealer!

I just recently purchased a Tiguan form this Dealership. I put in an inquiry for a new one and received a call from my wonderful sales rep Jared. I went in and test drove it and loved it. The evtire staff was very firendly and everyone was genuinely interested in helping me out and doing everything they could to help me out. After running the numbers with my husband I was told I could not have a new one. So I started used car shopping. One of my least favorite things. I went to another dealership and received many calls and emails form others, but the customer service, appearance of the dealership and staff, and just the energy was disappointing. So i left that dealership and went back to Desert VW. I called Jared on my way and he had the Tiguan I wanted up front waiting for me. It was perfect. I looked at it and was like, "I'm ready let's do this." It was around 6:30 PM and there were a lot of people in there. They gave me a great deal, and an awesome interest rate. I had to wait a while for the finance people, but like I said, they were extremely busy that day. I didnt mind waiting as I was not left alone and everyone was super friendly. When I did go in to handle the financing part of it. It was super easy and we were done in a short period of time. I had to go back to get some stuff finished up a couple of days later and got the certified warranty adn perma plate (inside and out) and everything has been a breeze. My perma plate installation was during a work day, so I dropped off my car, got a ride back to work from Jared, then was picked up from work when my car was done. Here at Desert they definitely go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. This was by far the most pleasant car buying experience so far.
