We had a really good experience buying a car from Doug Fredericks! He was very patient, helpful, thorough, and an overall great salesman! He went over everything with us and continues to check on us by email and phone calls every so often. He went out of his way to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it and that we were happy. When the car arrived, we weren't able to pick it up and he held it for us for about a month. Very happy with my car buying experience

My fiance and I had a great experience at AutoNation Subaru in Spokane Valley last weekend. I honestly didn't plan to buy a car the day we began looking. We found several 2016 Subaru Imprezas on the internet and wanted to 'shop around' at various car dealerships. But, we ended up purchasing one at our first stop - AutoNation. Douglas Fredericks was our salesman and he took really great care of us. He was extremely honest, friendly, helpful and transparent. If you're looking to trade in your car or simply buy a new one and don't know where to start - I definitely recommend going here first. You won't be disappointed.

Best Vehicle Purchasing Experience of my life.

On 1/15/16 my wife and I drove in to AutoNation Subaru to shop for a "slightly used" Subaru Outback. We had Made an appointment with Doug. Right from the start he was pleasant and helpful. I'm sure we tried his patience with all our questions but he was genuinely interested in what was best for us. Within a short time we selected one that we liked and were given a carfax report, and a Subaru Certified Pre-owned Vehicle Inspection Checklist. So we had confidence that the car was just as presented with no hidden faults etc. On the price, they showed us a "book out sheet" which included the N.A.D.A. Values and then the Kelley Blue Book pricing. On all previous vehicle purchases I had to look all that data up myself. And even with the price below wholesale pricing, Gale added a cargo compartment cover for no extra charge. Daniel in finance did a great job processing our paperwork. Great Experience

I Recently ordered/leased a 2016 STI from Autonation Subaru in Spokane Valley. The staff was very helpful in showing me my options and Explaining the entire lease process. I was kept informed of when my car would arrive and my salesman Josh even came in on his day off to do all of the paperwork so that I could pick up my car. If you are looking to get a Subaru I highly recommend this dealership and you should ask for Josh Miller.

Great Car Buying Experience :-)

I chose to buy my new 2016 Forester from Auto Nation Spokane Valley for several reasons. Primary was the excellent service I received from Patricia Hawley. As a "senior woman", I was very comfortable with Trish's approach and attentive service. She showed genuine interest in my needs and wants in a new vechicle. She also helped me get top dollar trade in for my "pristine, low mileage 2008 trade in". Trish has offered to give me follow up lessons on all the high tech "EyeSight" safety features. I plan to take advantage of this offer. In addition, Sales Manager, Gail Swenson is a huge asset for the agency. He is VERY personable and always had a positive message to relay. I recall him stating, "We want to take good care of you AFTER you buy our cars". He also encouraged me to bring my new car in frequently (any time, actually) for a free car wash. :-) I have dealt with another local Subaru dealership with no complaints, but Auto Nation just takes Customer Service to a higher level :-) Thank you Trish --- and you too, Gail :-)

Josh was an excellent representative for AutoNation. His positive attitude, along with his automobile knowledge, made our vehicle shopping easy. Not only was he patient with our decision making, but brought us water and easily answered all of our questions. The company is fortunate to have him as an employee. The reason that we selected four stars rather than five on the buying process is that we felt it took an exceptional amount of time to prepare the paperwork. If the process for that portion of completing a sale could be reduced, I'm sure that customers would appreciate it.

Auto Nation Subaru of Spokane was wonderful to work with. The entire team helped in the buying process and it went smoother than I was anticipating. Amanda the sales representative was amazing and such a joy to work with. Her positive energy and willingness to help me find the best car for me really sealed the deal. The managers were willing to negotiate deals with us and ended up selling the car to us for the price we (my partner and I) wanted. I ended up wanting to take off an extended warranty the day after my sale and they met me in the morning to redo the paper work. They were very fun and pleasant people to work with.

Most Fun I've Ever Had At A Dealership

Justin Johnson is the best! I showed up on the lot looking for a used vehicle. Justin listened to what I wanted. He made sure that he asked me colors, options, and most importantly-what kind of vehicle I was interested in. We joked, we laughed, he made the experience fun and not stressful. I loved the entire experience! Great staff, great selection. They will get you any car that you want even if they don't currently have it on their lot, quickly too. 2014 Impreza

Doug Fredericks was my sales person. He was so helpful. Answered all my questions that came up and if he wasn't sure on the correct answer he would find out or let us know the right person at ask. We met so many of the different managers and I was reassuring. I love that Auto Nation provides "pit stops" where I can pull into any Auto Nation and they will check the fluids on my car. I will let everyone I know that is new or used car shopping to make their first stop at Auto Nation. Absolutely pleased with my experience!

Great experience

Buying a car can be stressful--it's so much of an investment and there are so many great cars to choose from! The Autonation Subaru shop in the Spokane Valley did a great job giving me information and being patient with me; they presented me with many choices, and they made sure to answer all of my questions. Great experience trading in my forester

Josh Miller was great to work with, he made the whole process of trading in my forester for a crosstrek very easy. He was very knowledgeable about Subaru's and was excited to share that with me! Awesome Experience!!!

I stopped into the Subaru dealership to look at the new Legacys. My salesman Keith Moors was awesome to work with and very knowledgeable on all the cars on the lot. Keith answered all my questions and was very patient! The dealership was also very clean and everyone was so friendly and great to work with. Best car buying experience I have ever had! Also, the Subaru Legacy is by far my favorite car I have ever owned! It rides great and the gas mileage I am getting is insane!!!

Tribeca

My husband and I stopped at AutoNation because we were shopping around and had time to spare in between appointments. We told Josh what we were looking for in a used vehicle, the must haves and what not and he said he had just the vehicle - a Subaru Tribeca, that it hadn't been on the lot long. He took us for a test drive and so we started the paperwork, we had to leave for my next appointment but came back afterwards. We ran into a glitch where my trade-in was showing up as a total loss but Justin helped us out with that; working with our insurance company. Overall they were able to get us into the Subaru Tribeca without a whole lot of hassle, Josh was great help and even brought our vehicle out to us since we couldn't take it that day due to it needing the safety inspection, but they let us use a loaner which was awesome - it was a Subaru Forrester. If I were looking for a smaller AWD that Forrester would have been a dream, 25mpg! can't beat that! Anyway Josh drove our Tribeca out to us and we swapped vehicles and I really like my Tribeca, it has a smooth ride and the overall experience with AutoNation Surbaru was great and I would recommend family and friends to go there....they know how to take care of you without being really pushy.

Best Car Buying EXPERIENCE!

I was looking online for a new Forrester and put some email out there trying to find a good deal and I got a great price email back to me very quikly and it was $1,100 cheap than anything I had seen. I still was skeptical that the price they gave me was the best so I continued to shop around and no one could come close. I went to the dealership and met with Duane Montague and he was the best thing that could've happen. He made my wife and I feel that we had a choice we were able to assk a ton oof question and he was very knowledgable. My wife and I second guess ourselves over and over. Duane never pressured us he just gave us tools to make a decision that was good for us. We also dealt with Daniel in finance he really seemed he was there to help us. He gave us many options and great rates. We ended up getting a couple plans because we were in a rush we had our 3 month old with us. We went home and changed our mind on what we wanted a refund for two of the plans. Daniel was all ready for us when we came in and had a great attitude he really capped our great experience helping us get exactly what we wanted without pressuring us even though it took money away from him. Go Cougs!

Awesome experience

Time for a new Subaru so we looked up Auto Nation online to see what they had to offer. Their selection was great so we went down and met Joshua Miller who was very helpful and found the perfect car for us at a good price. I absolutely hate to go through the hours of haggling and paperwork but our experience was awesome and straight forward. We agreed on a price and had the paperwork done quickly. Everybody we met was very nice including the mechanic we talked to and John who had the car spotless and full of gas for us. This was the best, least stressful car buying experience we have ever had and I would buy another vehicle from them and refer all of my friends and family to them.

Easy Breezy

Came in looking for new 2015 Subaru Outback. Our salesman Jordan Lollis was quick to point out 3 that had just came off the truck and needed to be checked in. Not only did they get the Outback ready for us in a very short amount of time, but the time we waited was filled with going over our new Outback. So, when we were done with signing the paperwork we were ready to go. Great experience would go back again.

Bought New Subaru for Retirement

The Spokane Valley AutoNation Subaru was fantastic and Doug Fredericks helped me over multiple visits in learning about the various Subaru models, finding the right car for me (Forester) and at the right price. I purchased the car for my retirement (with Spokane's activities and snow in mind) and four of my children helped me in the process with three of them actually coming into the dealership and meeting with Doug. A great car-buying experience for a change!!

We have had many rough car purchases throughout the years.....but Amanda Carstensen was a new experience for us. I didn't know which vehicle brand at first but working with Mandy was a For Sure thing. Her genuine desire to do the best she could for us was amazing. I love my Subaru!

Not only did the folks at Auto Nation give me a great deal on a beautiful new jasmine green Subaru Forester, they also towed in my disabled Lexus from the side of the Palouse Hwy where it was stranded during a late afternoon massive wind and rainstorm. They turned a really unfortunate day for me into a day I will remember as one of the better stories in my life. Patricia Hawley was really great to work with, extremely knowledgeable about all the details of the cars, stayed late past closing to accommodate my purchase, patiently trained me in the new technology of the Touring model, and has followed up to see how we are doing as a new team of car and driver. I have had the experience of purchasing several new cars but none could compare to my recent purchase at Auto Nation Subaru working with sales rep Mike Libby. It was exceptional! After several other dealers told me there was no chance of finding me a White 2015 WRX & that I needed to broaden my color choices, I went to see Mike Libby at Autonation Subaru in the Spokane Valley. Brand new Legacy and 5-star dealership!

Recently bought a brand new Subaru Legacy and couldn't be happier. Autonation Spokane Valley's Subaru dealership was kinder, had better prices, and although not as large of an inventory, they were overall better than their rival Subaru Spokane dealership located in downtown Spokane. Very pleasant, although lengthy, car buying process and I am happy to recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy a brand new Subaru!

The best of both: great Subaru and great service!

I have had my Forester for almost two years, and am totally pleased with the car. Recently I messed up the display screen, and couldn't get back to the preferred format and information. I called my salesman, Paul O'Rourke, at AutoNation Subaru on E Sprague in Spokane, WA. Paul was quick to call me back, reviewed the situation, and then helped me through the process: to make the necessary changes and selections. I told him he had made my day! I have been very pleased with the service department, and all of my contacts with the staff. Paul originally assisted me in making sure I chose the 'Right' model with just the perfect combination of features and upgrades. It is always an enjoyable process working with Paul. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 for the Buying Process, not because of any problems, but just because it still requires all of the steps and paperwork. Paul follows through on everything he says, and always does the extra. This is the 11th Subaru we have owned, and working with Paul, we will confidently continue to repeat the process as necessary!

2012 Subaru Outback 6speed

I tracked down a white 6speed Outback at AutoNation in Spokane. I started discussing the logistics with Paul O'Rourke of the Subaru portion of AutoNation, because I had to fly from Seattle to Spokane to view the car and test drive it before buying it. Everyone, from Paul to Daniel to Tanya treated me courteously and professionally. I drove the car back to Seattle and lost some paperwork, but everybody was helpful and responsive to my frazzled search for the temporary title. And Paul is sending the replacement in the mail. This is my 2nd Subaru in 12 years and the experience is consistently pleasant from the sales department to the service department and the staff in general. If I get 12 years out of this Subaru like my 2003 Forester, I will be a happy camper.

We experienced professionalism at AutoNation Subaru (and sister AutoNation stores for Honda & Toyota & Acura). We consistently felt comfortable and as if they truly wanted to help us find the vehicle that would suit our needs. We had many available options and many decisions to make as this car purchase came a little sooner than we originally planned. Though we visited 4 times before purchasing a vehicle, we were treated with respect, patient understanding and excellent answers to our questions. We chose the Subaru Forester for its cutting edge safety technology (EyeSight, auto cruise adjustment, lane change warning, back-up camera, etc.) and because it fits my 6'5" husband and my short upper body needs. They offered us a fair Costco member price from the start (though we did shop around to bring them down farther :-) You can find Chad Fairchild at Autonation Subaru in the Spokane Valley and he was THE BEST - educated, comfortably friendly, and genuine.

Great dealership w/ a easy-going environment

I purchased my very first vehicle from Subaru Autonation Spokane Valley. I had been to another Subaru dealership in town, but they were pretty pushy and overall they did not meet my expectations well. When I came to Autonation, I was instantly welcomed by a group of employees who were relaxed, smiling, and ready to help me. I knew exactly what vehicle I wanted, but Duane (the most helpful car salesman I have ever met) still took the time to go over every detail with me to make sure I was making the right choicewhich I absolutely did! Their finance department worked very hard (and even stayed past closing that night) to help find me the lowest APR. They were all about MY wants and needs. They even helped me find a good insurance policy. Additionally, I got a great deal on a brand new vehicle, way below the MSRPand I didn't even have to haggle for that price. Overall a great experience. I would absolutely recommend buying a vehicle from autonation. Duane was awesome also!!! Definitely see if you can work with him, he was very knowledgable and tailored everything perfectly for ME.

Great salesman (Kieth Moors) at AutoNation Subaru

We love our new Subaru Outback 3.6R. No problems or complaints after 4 months of ownership. The car does it all... lots of room. Great visibility. extremely smooth engine..(can't tell if it is running or not). I was not sure about the CVT transmission but now that we have had the Outback for some time I think the CVT is smoother and much better that other automatic transmissions. Love the 6 cylinder engine... very powerful and very smooth. The seat memory buttons for my life and me are our favorite feature along with the keyless entry and the programmable lift gate. Very happy. Our salesman Kieth was very helpful and we would buy from him in the future for sure. He made the purchase very easy and we got a very good price. No pressure and no problems.

Out of this world service!

My fiance and I spent two days with auto nation Subaru looking for our perfect forester and we found it! We went through Doug F. and I can't say better things about him. When taking us on test drives he took the time to take us through parking lots to really check out the turning range and then up and down difficult hills to test out how well it handles in an off road situation. We couldn't appreciate his service more as well as the auto nation team.

Came in on his day off!!

First-the new building is AMAZING! But the real reason for my review: Mike Libby. He was working with me for months to find me the right car. Finally, he thought we were ready. I happened to have an oil change appointment there on Tuesday (which is also fantastic! Ricky is the best!) and I let Mike know I'd be in. He let me know it was his day off and he had some things he had to do but asked me to nail down a time. As much as I protested to him coming in on his day off, he assured me he was okay with it, and really, I wanted my new car! I came in, we worked out all the particulars and then it was a waiting until the hubby was off work game. I wanted him on my car and he had to sign off on the paperwork for the old one. I asked Mike if he had any trucks and within minutes he found the perfect truck for my husband. The hubs didn't believe me, but when we came back at 4:30 he was sold. Mike made it all seamless. There was no back and forth on the price of the vehicles, I said what I wanted and got it. It was such a phenomenal experience, and always is. We walked out with two vehicles and I don't think either of us could be any happier...well, maybe if I'd talked them in to a free window tint or something!!

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER

We recently purchased 2 vehicles from AutoNation Subaru and could not be more happy with the service we received. We initially had an appointment with a salesman who happened to be busy with walk-in customers, instead of making us wait he asked if we were ok working with his "understudy" and we took a chance and said yes. She was fantastic. We were not pressured or hounded in any way. In fact, I felt as if we were bothering them because we couldn't make up our minds about certain things. We told her exactly what we were looking for (1 mid-size SUV and 1 4 door car that was good on gas) she was able to take us to various vehicles within our price range and we found our desired vehicles very quickly. We were able to test drive both of them, baby in tow, with no issues. We were given the carfax for all vehicles we test drove which was very nice to have up front. The team worked on us with our trade-ins and got us the maximum amount they could for each of our trades. As long as I live here I will NEVER buy a car from anywhere else. We have been to other places in the area to buy vehicles before and it turned out terribly so we were terrified to even start the process all over again but I am so glad we did! The building is so nice and they even have a little play area for the kiddos!

Love my Subaru Outback!

Saw the car and met Chad at the international car show. Did the deal pretty much over the phone using Costco pricing, our salesman Chad left his home and kids on his day off, came down to meet us for a test drive and we bought the car, pretty easy! Amazing technology and I feel a great value. Highly recommend.

Amazing experience!

I had been searching for a newer Subaru sedan Legacy for what seemed like forever! My husband and I after a disappointing (and long) day of car shopping decided to stop at one more dealership- Autonation Subaru. And I am SO glad we did! We were greeted by Doug F. who was happy to assist in my very particular list of desires I was searching for in my dream car. Doug drove us to whichever Autonation dealership we were interested in test driving cars at- and let me tell you there were quite a few! He spent hours with us trying to pin point exactly what I was looking for and at the end of the that day we didn't find "the one". I was disappointed but he assured me that as soon as a car came in that matched what I was searching for he would call me right away. The next day he called. Review of Subaru Outback 2015

Chad Fairchild is the key person when we purchased our new Outback. He was courteous, kind, not pushy and very knowledgeable about the vehicle. Chad went through the vehicle and helped us on the new electronics and operation of this model. When we picked up the vehicle it had a full tank of gas! Very supportive and wanting to know if everything was just right. I would recommend this person if you are in the process of deciding what to purchase at Autonation. 2015 Subaru Legacy

Of course it goes without saying that we are delighted with our new Subaru Legacy and feel that it is the best value AWD vehicle in the marketplace. Our experience with buying my new Subaru, was great, got the car I wanted with all my assesories. Lifetime customer of Appleway oppps I mean Autonation. The sales staff answered all my questions and some I had forgotten, they have been available to me, and helping me with questions and concerns even after 3 weeks of owning the car. I have had a very good experience with sales man Chad Fairchild.in fact he showed me various options in vehicles.& he was always very clear in describing the details and never pressured me in any way. . I was very impressed with his honesty and knowledge, I did not go there to buy the vehicle of my choice that day, i just wanted to know little more about the Subaru SUV options. even though I was not ready to buy the vehicle that week. Great experience getting the our 2013 Outback

We went to several different dealers looking for just the right car for our family. We have to say that Doug, our sales guy, not only found the right car for us, but made the process so easy and personable. The facility was clean and updated, our kids were comfortable there and everyone was attentive to our needs. Doug and the manager helped us find the perfect car with all the features we wanted-- they even had it shipped in from another state in no time! We didn't have to compromise on our needs. And they even helped us get the plates off our trade-in a few days later when we forgot to grab them in our excitement with our new car.

2014 Crosstrek

Circumstances in our lives demanded that we look for a more suitable vehicle. I researched online and checked the box that said "get a quote" with trepidation. 2015 Legacy

I enjoyed my experience working with Patricia Hawley at AutoNation. The Legacy I am driving is great. Lots of legroom and space. It drives like a dream. This is our second Legacy since 2004. Our first Legacy just went over 264000 miles and still rides great. No major problems at all. I'll recommend AutoNation to anyone that wants a great car and good people to work with.

Subaru Crosstrek 2014

I found the Autonation dealership in Spokane Valley to very focused on customer satisfaction in their new facilities. They really want your business longterm. The free car washes and windshield wipers are nice draws to keep you coming back after the purchase. I had been receiving service on two cars for years there when they were a Madza/Subaru dealership under Apple. They also have a body shop that is State Farm insurance certified. With their new facilities, and under Autonation, They seem to want to step up the service. So I bought another Subaru from them. They gave me a very good trade-in deal over another dealer.

auto nation is the only place for us

this is my second time purchasing a car from a donation and again I am completely satisfied with every part of the process! I had called and talk to Joe about finding me the perfect car and within 2 days I was driving it home at the price that I wanted....plus with a warranty from their company! What could be better?

Mike Libby was our sales person . When we went in to see what they had at Subaru automation mike immediately found us and asked if we had any preference. We let him know it was a Subaru vehicle. He was knowledgeable in the differences between them he was not pushy he let us the differences gave us brochures to look and compare. When we returned Mike Libby toke us thru the steps to purchase. We have been impressed by all the people at the dealership. But Mike was great . I Had No Intention of Buying!

When the wife and I went to Auto Nation Subaru we were going to just shop! We had met the salesman Chad Fairchild several months ago and told him we would contact him when we were ready to start looking for a new car. I contacted Chad ahead of time and explained to him that the wife and I were having knee, back and hip problems trying to get up into or out of our Dodge Ram 4X4. Made an appointment to meet Chad, he had a 2014 Subaru Outback for us to look at, we found the seats a little to low for us, he brought out a 2015 Subaru Forrester that has higher seats. We tried them, liked them took it on a test drive, decided that was the car for us. Love the ease of entering and egress, the driving is wonderful. Chad explained everything took his time to be sure I understood all the gadgets. Matt the finance guy was a pleasure to work with and was very helpful. The entire staff was very friendly and easy to talk to. Thanks Chad and staff we love our new Subaru Forrester Premier. Rod: I may not always be right but I'm never wrong!

The car salesman I worked with was easy going, answered my questions gave me all the time I needed to process information and make my choice. I love driving manual transmissions and am usually approached by car salesmen who work to talk me out of one because they don't have one on the lot to sell me, this man did not. I like that a lot. The finance guy was also great. There was no hard sell here at all...just friendly knowledgeable people (men) educating me so I can make the best choice for me. Appleway has always been excellent with their customer service, which is why i returned a second time to look for a vehicle here. Jason Wisher and Tucker Heinman are true professionals. They have excellent customer service skills and are highly knowledgeable about their products. I was very comfortable asking any question, knowing it would be fully answered. Jason took his time to show me different cars and was patient when I was not finding what I was looking for. And then he furthered his search to the computer inventory, only to find the car I have always wanted. Jason even shared his Twizzlers with me while i waited for paperwork to be finalized. Very sweet! Upon returning to get my license plates, I ran into Tucker and Jason again, only to have them follow up with my purchase and answer any further questions I might have. I highly recommend Appleway and their professionals to anyone on the hunt for a car. I am completely satisfied with my experience!

It was a spur of the moment decision to shop for a new Subaru 9 months after we regretably traded in our 2009 Subaru for a Dodge Charger. We started a search for our new car on the internet..after finding the make and model we wanted we asked for pricing. The no Hassle pricing given us by auto nation Subaru was incredible and turned out to be totally honest. The car was waiting for us when we arrived...we test drove,,,were offered drinks...the salesman went over every item in the user guide and insured that we understood it...he even synced my phone to the Bluetooth. The manager was friendly and helped us to get the paperwork done in record time...the facility could use some upgrades but you'll never find a more helpful and friendly staff anywhere. Helping three generations...

I was helping my daughter with her first car shopping in Spokane Valley, as we made appointments to look at vehicles we found in online inventories. Our salesman drove us around all the lots in Appleway Auto Nation, finding little after a busy weekend, until he checked the last place. My daughter was allowed to drive this found vehicle to Starbucks so we could ponder whether she should buy such a new vehicle with so little miles (1 year vs. 10+ and 13k vs. 140k miles). We really appreciate being given the time to ruminate before returning to purchase her 2012 Mazda2 Sport. She is still excited about it, and I am relieved that she will have such reliability on her side as she begins life after high school. I purchased a 1984 Toyota Longbed Deluxe (w/8k miles) from Appleway Toyota in late 1984, and Dad purchased a new Tacoma Access Cab (4wd,4 cyl., 5M) three years ago, as their local dealer (5-6 hours away) was unwilling to look for what he desired in his last truck purchase. Appleway Mazda Subaru is well worth the trip!

2010 Titan

I traded in my 2006 Nissan Frontier for a 2010 Nissan Titan. The buying process was a little long but the wife and I are very happy amd will purchase cars from here again.

RESPECTFULLY TREATED

After responding to an online trade-in value request for my Forester, I was called by an Appleway Subaru sales representative and scheduled an appointment. I was greeted shortly after arriving, and invited to drive a new Subaru Outback. The sales representative answered all my questions, and displayed competent knowledge of the model's features and options. I also was treated very courteously by a Sales Manager, who provided a bottom line price for the desired vehicle without pressuring me for a decision. I noted up front that I also had an appointment with another dealership, and that I would not decide until both had presented offers. While I eventually bought from my previous dealer, it was a tough decision, and I greatly appreciated the manner in which Appleway Subaru presented their offer. I will include this dealer again when considering a Subaru purchase.
