This is the first time that I have purchased a vehicle by using the internet as the primary resource. I only had to physically visit the dealership to buy the exact car I wanted. I was able to check their inventory and the price that I was given on line was fair. I did not intend to finance with the dealer but they matched my pre-approved interest rate from my bank. All in all so far a positive experience.

Air Bag Replacement

In mid April i took my car in for maintenance, while there it was determined vehicle was included in air bag recall. I was told parts had to be ordered and once they came in repair could be done. First week of August I get the call that the parts are in. I than contact service advisor to confirm parts are indeed in and I am told that if i make an appointment on a week day i need to drop off car before 3 pm and if i drop off on weekend need to drop off before noon. Made appointment for Saturday, August 6th and dropped off car at 11:30 am. At 1:00 pm get call that repair cannot be made because they do not have the parts. Really?????

I bought a used Honda Odyssey paid cash. Bought vehicle protection plan the day I bought van 7/13/2016. Over the weekend van battery light went on lights on dash where all flashing van shut off. Got a jump got home truck wouldn't start put battery on charger to get it to a dealership that would service my van. I gave them my vehicle protection plan they called they have no information on van. Called Honda spoke with Leslie she said she took care of it and still no protection plan.Its been 11 days and the protection plan still hasn't been provided.Seems to me they don't have their priorities straight and can't take care of customers.I will never buy a vehicle from auto nation cause of bad service and customer support.

I went to get my airbag replaced and I come to see that they scratched up the whole dashboard where the airbag was replaced and they didn't even have the courtesy to wipe it down and clean it up. I'm going to post some pictures and show you guys, this is just unacceptable you guys change your airbag and the scratch up my dashboard and you leave it a mess.

My Honda was towed 4 times in a month for the same problem. The first time they replaced a part for close to $400 that they were surprised had to replaced. The second time they replaced the battery. The third time they had to do a software update on the part they replaced the first time. The fourth time they said oops it was the starter all along and that costs $1200. BUT they don't stock starters and had to order one that took 2 days. BUT it's not our fault, the computer messed up.

If you can make it to Sanford to but a car then ask for Younes and he will get you what you want! He won't stop helping you until you are satisfied. Make SURE you see Fernanda for the financial part. She is absolutely wonderful. You will leave happier than you can imagine. No pressure no fuss.

We purchased a Certified Used 2013 Honda Pilot and traded in my 2008 Honda Accord. After multiple test drives and visits to the dealership by both my wife and I, we finally decided to pull the trigger and make the purchase. Grant Bowman and his sales management staff were fantastic! They were very patient with us as they walked us through the car buying process. We walked away feeling as if it was a win/win and that we got a great deal on our trade in as well as what we paid for the Pilot. Great service did not end there as we found a screw in the tire the day after we brought it home and they happily patched it for us for free. We are very happy with the overall experience and I highly recommend AutoNation Honda. If you go, please as for Grant. You won't be disappointing.

Need help on the paper work end of things. Don't count on them to get the insurane changed or to refund a deposit for a title. Be pro-active and do it yourself!! Also be sure they don't double charge you for extras.

I rarely write reviews, with three kids under the age of five there's not much time for that! We bought a Honda Odyssey about a week ago though and worked with Nancy and Skip. They were both great. Nancy was AMAZING and she seriously went above and beyond to ensure we were happy with everything (including the amount of our trade in, the price we paid, and the overall condition of our pre owned Odyssey). We've purchased many cars and this was by FAR our best experience! We highly recommend AutoNation Honda and Nancy...it's nice to know we have someone so awesome to work with next time we're car shopping.

These place is a joke!! They are only friendly to get into your pockets. My wife and I tried to purchase a vehicle. After getting approved they called us back multiple times to fill out more paperwork and money down. Even after complying they still kept calling for other stuff. I put tints in the window after the 20 day return agreement if the bank decided not to go with the deal. Eventually the bank decided to back away and I had to eat the cost of the tint placement. Steve, Fernanda and Bass does not return phone calls. Customer service is pure garbage. I will not recommend anyone to this place. EVER......

This is the second time we have bought a vehicle from here. We worked with Daryl Miranda and Nancy Bunton to purchase our current vehicle. We were greeted right away and the process went smooth and comfortable. We were very pleased with Jaime in the financial department as well. Pros - Except for the day of delivery, all communication was done via email by our son on my behalf. No haggle, prompt, and delivered exactly what I was looking for in a new Pilot. Cons - Did not get as much intro to the new Pilot as I would have liked. The 2016 has more and better features and requires more communication than I received. The Honda CD is only the owners manual in pdf form. I have learned about the new options first by trial and error and second by finding a video on YouTube. Honda should include an introduction video that would make the experience so much better. If Honda doesn't do it, AutoNation should.

Found a 2013 Honda Pilot through USAA. I contacted Autonation on a Sunday and Daryl called me back within one hour. I went out to Autonation that day to take a look at the vehicle. Daryl was insightful and provided nothing but top notch service during the whole process. Not once did he try to up-sell me on another or newer vehicle. Daryl was a pleasure to work with and even went one step further to help me out after he sold me that car a few weeks later when I had some trouble with it. From the moment we called AutoNation Honda in regards to an online ad for an Acura TSX, we knew the service would be stellar. Daryl Miranda answered our phone and his manager followed up with a call to ensure we had the proper directions. By the time we reached the dealership, Daryl had the car we wanted to view parked in front, and was waiting outside for us. His customer service was outstanding from the test drive to the moment we drove off the lot. Each of our questions was documented and answered thoroughly. He even followed up after we returned home. I really wanted to support my hometown Honda dealership but they didn't seem interested so ended up contacting Sanford. Honda I have to say the way I was treated by the salesman at this dealership doesn't compare with the previous one in any way. They didn't tell me one thing and then change it, they weren't pushy, they returned my emails, , and when I bought the car, and had an issue they exchanged the car with no problem.. I don't know any other new car dealership that gives you a 3 day 150 mile guarantee but Sanford Auto Nation does. Was definitely happy that I drove the few miles to Sanford. I worked with Bryan Andres and highly recommend him and all those I dealt with at Honda Auto Nation in Sanford, Florida. Thank you Bryan and Sanford Auto Nation Honda.

I called AutoNation Honda Sanford on a Saturday morning, already on the road to frustration after a disappointing experience with another dealer the night before. Leon took my call & confirmed that the vehicles I was interested in were still available. When I got there, he brought out the CarFaxes on both of them; he was completely up front, telling me that one had some engine noise & that the other had been in a minor accident. We took them both out for a test drive, decided which would be the better fit for my budget & he handed me off to Steve for the financial part. After a few bumps (& a trip home to reassess) I returned to complete the deal. I got to work w/Jorge & then Jaime finished up w/the paperwork & money. Lastly, Daryl walked me out to my new (to me) 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe.Noticed a few minor issues the first week, took it back in, was helped by Travis, & parts were ordered. In the meantime, the blower motor on the A/C went out. Long story short, I dropped it off this morning, their complimentary shuttle took me to work, I came back after work & picked it up, everything fixed & under warranty.I am very happy with every interaction I have had here; everyone I've dealt with has been great, going above & beyond to make this a positive experience.

This is the 2nd vehicle I've purchased from Automation Honda Sanford. Both times I have been treated great. Everyone on staff is extremely helpful and polite. The dealership is clean, open, and with plenty of bottled water and snacks. Negotiating a fair price for my new 2015 Civic Si sedan was quick, painless, and not nearly as annoying as some may think. My sales representative Sam Baradhi is the best! He knows the Honda vehicles from top to bottom. Sam made the sales process a pleasant one. Once we decided on a vehicle, he had me out of there in a few hours. I'd like to mention that the service department at AutoNation Honda Sanford is just as good as the sales department. My wife has been in a few times with her 2014 Pilot and each time she's been impressed with the quality of service she gets. So, it's safe to say they will take good care of you well after you drive off the lot. I've been a VW guy for years, but knowing I was getting a quality, reliable vehicle that's fun to drive, from a top notch sales person made this an easy decision. The salesman was alright. Lawerance our finance guy was nice when I was in front of him. He said there would be a month of no bill due. A few weeks later a payment came out the day before payday. Bouncing a couple of checks. Lawerance said they would send a check to cover what they withdrawn. Nothing about the bounce check fees. My wife tried to follow up but felt lied to and disrespected. Plus 3 more weeks later and still no check. We owe them our first payment tomorrow and they still owe us. Thinking about returning the car. I will never buy from these jackels again. This could end up in court.

On Dec 27 2014 I purchased a 2015 Honda Accord V6 and it was one of the best experiences in my entire life.Janet Carletti my sales representative was simply amazing, Jaime the finance manager was outstanding and I'm sorry I forgot the assistant managers name but he was awesome the whole entire team there exceptional. They weren't pushy or aggressive at all and from the top person to the bottom with the exception of a blonde lady in a suit could've been the top dog she didn't interact at all so maybe the second in charge to the detailer all were exceptional. Every car dealer in central Florida need to take lessons because their customer service is the best I've ever seen and I'm so very thankful I headed there and not the Toyota dealership as my brother wanted to look there. our salesperson was Fernanda S . and we express our concers about the credit..we wanted to first make sure the credit was approved in order to move forward...she verbally and by email assured that the credit part was fine and wanted to appraised our current vehicle to make sure we get a decent amount for it. we walked in the 24th which was her day off. I spoke to Nancy who was able to have her supervisor appraised the car. I asked about the financing part again! and she called me back saying that it was approved and they want us come test drive the new vehicle. we got an email specifying a time ,and date to test drive ...model. we walked in and the car wasn't available. another car was offered and we worked out numbers...sat there for about 4 hours for final documents and there was an error with Vin #. so docs were signed again. took the car home and on NYE the financing person Jaime called to say that the financing wasn't approved . when i asked ..why was i confirmed then by 2 sales person that credit was approved and let me sign all the docs? he said...i don't know why i only work for the financing part. this is so unprofessional to let us go thru the whole final process and tun have to return the vehicle. its their same financing...they should of known as soon as the app went thru!!!!

We applied online. Called next day about the application. Specifically asked sales person Fernanda S. If the credit was approved , got verbally and written ok to walk in to pick a vehicle. Called again to confirm with Nancy and she called back to say that yes it was approved ... Hubby walks in and pick a car they offered based on our trade in ... Spent 4 hours sitting with the financing person Jamie's and there were vin numbers errors , which paperwork had to be re done. Got a call next day after taking the car home saying that the credit wasn't approved. So unprofessional to let costumes know they are approved and let them sign the paperwork and pick a car to then find it was a mistake !!!

Worked with Eric on line to get pricing - they were about $800 away but "that's no problem - we'll work the deal you need" got me driving 50 miles to buy a Civic EX.Despite their own printed inventory list showing three vehicles with a black interior - "the two black ones have sold and the silver one is supposed to be on the lot but I can't find it, so we'll test drive the 2015 and do the same deal on that one" - yeah right Eric! Complete waste of time that was!Then they "find" the silver one and everything is great - except when I pop the trunk see dead and moldy leaves and check the mileage at 450 miles! No great look of surprise when I communicate that Im not interested in a vehicle that was a deal that fell through nice try - NOT!So while they are still calling, trying to get their own Toyota dealership to give them a trade figure on my Prius we will drive a car with gray interior. Except the first one won't start so now I'm on choice number 5!Get back - still no trade figures but hey for grins they tried to present a signed sales order at 12 grand trade value instead of the 16.5 it was already in their system at (and the 17.5 they finally offered).- nice try again - NOT!Bottom line, spent three hours - didn't get the deal I was told I would - on either the 2014 or the 2015, tried to sucker me into a vehicle that had 450 miles on it, oh and the vehicle I was originally interested in (and would have bought even though the deal wasnt as promised) is still in stock according to their web site five days later!

I purchased a used Subaru from AutoNation Honda Sanford. I went to the dealer late on a Friday evening to look at a Jeep. When it wasn't what I wanted the used car manager came out and asked me if I would be interested in a Subaru. I originally wanted to purchase a Subaru but could not find one in my price range so I stopped looking for them. I don't know how he knew I would love it but I did.The staff was reasonable and worked with me to make the price affordable.

So let me start with.. I HATE CAR SHOPPING.... I am a female who loves cars but hates being shown vanity features rather than discussing the pros and cons of a v-4 vs v-6 engine. So I tried the online shopping deal first... 4 dealer visits later and I was ready to give up and stick with my Pontiac for another 6 months. I was looking for specific car. A Nissan Cube Krom with low mileage and a blue tooth system.No one seemed to have it. Until I did a wider search and found it here. I emailed as soon as I saw it had everything I wanted and at a price I could really afford.Leon Mason- I cant thank him enough ... responded quickly and efficiently. He answered all questions AND provided more insight to the vehicle I was looking at. We had set up an appointment that I ended up missing due to my puppy being a sick widget. My husband arrived at the dealership at 4 o'clock.. I was upset and had a gut feeling my car was gone. The receptionist ( I forgot her name I'm so sorry but you with the red hair and glasses were awesome!) let us know that Leon was out on a test drive would be back shortly, but someone from his team could help us. Well that's when this almost went rogue ... A gentleman came over to us half greeted us then turned to my husband ( his back facing me) and asked my husbands name and what vehicle he was looking for.... I WAS FURIOUS! We weren't shopping for his car.. we were shopping for mine. He went in search of our mini profile and Leon walked in that moment. I shook his hand and said I refuse to work with this salesman. Leon nodded and said it would take a little bit he was finishing up with another family.He asked if we had eaten dinner, if we had not we could eat and come back. My husband and I did had a quiet dinner and we came back about 6:30. We went on a test drive, filled out the paperwork and had my trade in info ready to go.I drove home with my Nissan almost a week ago and I am in love. Not only with my car but with how awesome Leon and Lawrence ( our finance guy) treated us. We had to visit the dealership as one of our keys weren't working and drop off additional paperwork.Lawrence had us in and out 10 minutes and Leon took care of our key .. Turns out the battery was bad they didn't have any in stock so they told me whenever I purchased the battery bring back the receipt and they'd reimburse me. This could have ended at the gentleman ignoring me, but I already knew that Leon already knew my needs and was more than helpful.PLEASE- give this dealership a shot. we are sending our friends here because of our experience. There is always the possibility that a bad apple could ruin a dealerships reputation. Just give them a real shot!Thanks Leon- Harshin and Jennifer A.

Saw online Autonation dealership had van I wanted. Called Fernanda Sgrigneri, who was WONDERFUL. Negotiated price, had us fax some information and drove to dealership, signed a few papers and picked up the car!! This is the dealership to go to, no games of what payment were you wanting, what will it take to get you to drive away with a new car or any such nonsense. They knew the value of the car, we knew the value of the car from online research so was a quick and easy deal.

Over the past 40 years we have purchased many new and used cars. The process was one we normally dreaded.The entire process of purchasing our new Honda was incredible. ALL of the staff (sales, management, closing paperwork, and service) were wonderful.. Absolutely the best car buying experience we have ever had.Special kudos to Skip (sales) and Rebecca (closing paperwork) for their pleasant, relaxed and friendly attitude.If a Honda is what you want, or think you may want we HIGHLY recommend getting in touch with them in Sanford. Found a deal online at Auto nation Honda in Sanford, that was to good not to look into. We live not quite 3 hrs away , were a little hesitant to use a dealership so far from home, Was fortunate enough to have Eric Bass respond to my inquiry. He was fantastic. Polite, non-pushy,competent,and knowledgeable. He offered to help any way possible, including driving the car all the way to us. Over the course of the next 7 days,Eric answered numerous, phone calls, e-mails, texts and questions for us. We made the long drive, upon arrival Eric and the team had everything ready,including paperwork, just in case we wanted the vehicle so we were not held up any longer then needed. We loved the car, were given a great figure for our trade-in and couldn't have been happier. It worth the drive for any future purchases and if you need a car, ask for Eric Bass. I bought my first car, a new 2014 Honda Civic sedan, from Autonation Honda!!! I visited several other dealers in the area and can tell you the service was the best at Autonation Honda. Unlike other dealers in the area, they didn't put pressure on me, which I appreciated a lot! I test drove a couple of different vehicles and also looked at new and pre-owned cars. I worked a sales associated named Daryl Miranda. I highly recommend him!!! He knew a lot about all the different cars I was looking at and he didn't put pressure on me or try to rush me into buying anything. I am really happy with honda civic!!!! If I ever decide to purchase a car again I won't bother going to other dealers, I will just go straight to Autonation Honda.

What can I say about this place other then they are a breath of fresh air for buying a car. They brought the car in from south Orlando to there Sanford dealership. They gave me a great price and matched the financing that I was preapproved from a local credit union. They were super busy tuesday night but made sure that my wife and I were comfortable. Bryan was very helpful and when I need a new car I will be coming back to him.

Why isn't there a 10 STAR review option?! Because even then it wouldn't be enough. Went to AutoNation Honda just to browse, but everything changed the moment that Harry Medrano attended us. He was nice, honest and in no way a pushy sales person like any other car dealership. All the other dealers you'd go to it was like stepping into a shark tank, but not Harry. If anything his service and understanding of our situation was more than enough to help us make a decision. The great news don't stop there, because if it weren't for Gil Amir, I wouldn't be driving this lovely and beautiful 2015 Honda Fit. The car is A-MA-ZING, but what was even more impressively amazing was Gil's costumer service. This man, no this gentleman, deserves recognition above and beyond for all his help. He went all out of his way on making sure that not only we would be happy with our decision, but went the extra mile to make sure that we were getting the best of the best deals anyone could offer. On July 26th we stopped by to look at a 2011 Honda Civic that we first found on the Internet. We had planned to shop many other vehicles in the area on that day, but our sales consultant, Sam Baradhi, made the experience so enjoyable that we purchased this car on the spot. The vehicle was just as described on the AutoNation web site and there were no "surprises" at the dealership. We received a fair price for the vehicle and remain very satisfied with the transaction. I went to AutoNation Honda last after checking with Honda dealerships in the area, and I purchased my 2014 Honda Civic Sedan from Andre & Unis. Andre helped me on the first day with actually picking out the car & negotiating the price. Unis helped me when I returned the next day to purchase the vehicle. Overall, I had a great experience with everyone and I love my new car. When I purchased it on Sunday I was under a great time limitation because I had to be in Tampa at 2:00, and AutoNation was so fast & helpful. Lawrence in the Finance Department was so quick & efficient, and I did not feel like he tried to sell me things that I did not need. Unis was awesome and could not have been nicer with all my demands (I'm the first to admit I know what I want). Additionally, they let me leave the car there while they cleaned & gased her up, so when I returned from my day in Tampa she was sitting in the parking lot waiting for me. I would definitely purchase another vehicle from them in the future. Thanks guys!

All of the personnel are as friendly and helpful as can be and even when talking on the phone, they maintain that great business attitude where they make you feel as though they appreciate the fact that you are supporting their dealership. This is great to see as most businesses have lost this feeling among their employees and you are always rushed through. Not here, great place to bring your car, everything is done on time and to your satisfaction for a reasonable dollar value. This is my third purchase from this Honda dealer, reaching back to when they were Jimmy Bryan Honda in Longwood. This time I leased a 2014 Honda Accord EX 4-cylinder. I've always been happy with with their customer service and the way they serve the customer as if they want to keep your business. My buying experience, though predictably long as these things always are, was nonetheless pleasant and as swift as it could possibly be. In particular, Grant Bowden was very attentive and helpful, even after my purchase with questions I had. I think that in my experiences with car sales people, Grant proved to be the one who best adapted to my expectations of the process, i.e. no hard haggling or selling and a deliberate, careful approach to car buying. One of the reasons I keep coming back here is the quality of customer service in all phases of car ownership: purchase, regular service, finance. I already know their service on my new vehicle will be excellent as I've been taking my last three Accords to them for all service.

After being given the run around by several OTHER dealers in Ocala, I came across AutoNation Honda in Sanford and a man named Skip Sage. I still cannot believe the effort he put into helping me get the car I so desperately needed. It is beyond what I expected. Being self employed and newly divorced with little established credit, he went above and beyond to find a financer for me BEFORE I drove all the way down to Sanford. I just knew something was going to get weird like the other places I'd been, but it was absolutely one of the most positive business experiences I've had. And Rebecca in the financing department was an angel...staying way later than closing time to get things wrapped up for me. I will never go anywhere else to buy another car if I can help it! Their prices are right, they are honest and so helpful. You don't get that "oh my gosh, there's a salesman" feeling when you get there. It was an awesome experience. Highly recommend!!

Needed repairs are recommended, either for that visit or in the future; keeping my car running efficiently and safely. On a recent visit we asked the service tech to check a rattle in the back. The service team, especially Travis and Carlos, were diligent in finding the source and fixing the problem.

Our CRV was in a bad accident and the AutoNation collision repair center did a good job bringing the car back to original condition. There was a problem however in a couple of occasions starting the car after it was parked in a hot parking lot. We took the car in to the dealership and told them about the problem and when it occured. They listened and tried to duplicate the conditions when we were having the trouble and they were able to find a problem in the wireing harness from the extensive repais that were needed. We appreciate the energy and effort Paullina and the repair staff put in to listen to our problem and find the ellusive electrical problem and get it fixed.

My car battery died in a rough part of Sanford, my partner met me at my stranded location in our other vehicle. My partner called Auto Nation spoke with Service Director Don Mills, Mills advised he had battery in stock and quoted the price. So my partner went to Auto Nation Honda to pick up a new battery. I waited in the hot sun in a not so nice part of town for my partner to go and get battery and return. My partner called Don Mills he said he had a battery and quoted the price. When my partner got there Don Mills The Service Director said " he would have to test the battery in the car first before selling us a battery". We have purchased many batteries over the years and this simply was not true. Also The Service Director said he needed the old battery first. My partner drove all the way back to retrive the battery from the car to take it to him. Upon arrival with the dead battery Don Mills wanted us to bring the car in so he could test battery in the car. Well the car was dead so I waited 45 minutes for the tow truck and we had to have it towed to Auto Nation. When i arrived with the car at Auto Nation my partner informed me that Don Mills advised us that he assumed he had a battery but didnt. He would have to order one and it would be there tomorrow. I advised this is unacceptable he told us at the very beginning he he had a battery and even quoted us the price, not to mention he made us have the car towed there at our expense. He was rude and mislead us from the beginning. He said well "You can go to Wal-Mart and pick one up " sarcastically like we were beneath him. He didn't even give us our battery back, we had to wait for a piece of paper from him to take to parts to retrieve our battery. Parts department lost our battery and it took an additional 30 minutes for them to find it. When they returned it, We left and due to this Horrible experience and treatment from the Service Director we shall never return to Auto Nation Honda again.

Went in for an oil change on my 2007 Honda Ridgeline with almost 150,000 miles on it . Have had ALL scheduled repairs done here (including buying tires) and asked what I could get into a new one for. The low price was even lower than I was expecting. Decided then to also trade in my wifes car and within a few hours we were driving out in 2 brand new cars. Along the way we treated ourselves to popcorn and coffee and watched a little t.v. I have bought cars from here before and will again. Always nice, familiar faces (Travis) in the service (for about all 150,000 miles) area, our salesman (more boy, he was young) was completely knowledgeable on ALL the many questions we shot at him. It was onto the finance (Guil) part of the deal where again he pleasantly answered all of our questions (which were many) and then seeing our 2 cars (truck, SUV) ready for us and another smiling, helpful and informative person (Moshkan sp,?) to see us out made the whole experience excellent......I was happy going in for my oil change and even happier coming out......Thank you!!!!

I chose Autonation Honda primarily to reward them for quickly and honestly answering my email inquiry asking for the best price on a new Accord. Skip Sage answered personally within 15 minutes and gave me some actual quotes. He was patient with my questions, and not pushy. So I dropped by to see him that afternoon. Even though the dealership was swamped, Skip made sure I was taken care of. And while I waited for the finance person to see me, he sat with me and we chatted away the time. Couldn't ask for a nicer guy. Rebecca in Finance also was a gem. Easily the most stress-free time I've spent in a finance department. It was great chatting with her too. Never felt I was being pressured or anything. So happy to have my new Accord.

My entire car buying experience was amazing, and I have these guys to thank for that! Being very happy with my first Honda vehicle, I walked in the front door knowing exactly the make/model I was looking for in my second. I was greeted by the sales consultant Andre Perez, who I would definitely recommend asking for by name if you are considering a stop by this location. While I already had a specific vehicle in mind, it had been quite awhile since I had purchased a new Honda, and Andre really took the time to walk me through all the changes and upgrades I would soon be enjoying. Once I was comfortable with my decision, I expressed to Andre that I already had my financing approved through a few different lenders (to keep my options open), and that I had a ballpark figure that I wanted to work around. After a brief discussion of what expectations I had in terms of moving forward, Andre took that information over to his Director of Sales, Matt Neusch, to get him involved and see what we could do. Matt joined in, and brought with him what I can only describe as a sense of "laid-back professionalism" to the whole "talking numbers" process. In the wrong hands, this part of the process can easily be quite stressful - but not with Matt! We went over the financing options I had already obtained, we talked about what price I was looking to pay (admittedly, quite a low-ball number), and we talked about what price I would feel comfortable with paying... and at no point did Matt allow this process to feel uncomfortable or high-pressured in the least! Talking numbers is a necessary part of the process, and he managed to work through the motions in a such a relaxed and conversational manner that it was over before I knew it. In the end, he not only found a price well between the margins of what I wanted to pay and what I was comfortable with paying, he also managed to beat all my other financing offers I had obtained! Once we were in agreement on a price, I moved onward to close everything up, which is where Mark Dowell now entered the mix. The amount of paperwork involved in a purchase of this caliber can be quite overwhelming, and that's even before you start reading into the fine print on half these things. Mark really made this portion of the process a breeze, and he did so on top of the fact that he was training a new hire (Rebecca, also very friendly) the whole time. A lot of this time is just spent double-checking that everything has been filled out and entered correctly into the computer, and thank god that he had a personality to fill that void with an entertaining conversation! Mark definitely had us laughing our way through the down time! And once everything was good to go, Mark then took the time to go over every piece of paper I had to sign, while more importantly, also making sure I understood everything as well. I'm no lawyer, but after that sit down, I could probably teach a class on all that legal jargon! At this point, the whole process was finished, and I was the happy owner of a new Honda! As I walked to my new car about to drive away, Mark, Matt and Andre were all there to shake my hand and see me off. And despite the fact that this was a done deal at this point, Andre STILL went the extra step of hopping in the car with me for a few minutes to help connect my iPhone to the new on-board systems, ensuring that I was taking full advantage of all the new features before I even left the lot!It has now been a few days since my purchase, and looking back at the whole process, I can definitely say without a doubt that AutoNation Honda Sanford has definitely got themselves a 5-star team. Hands down, this is THE dealership I would recommend to anyone and everyone looking to buy a Honda in the Central Florida area. Make sure to ask for Andre!
