Worst dealership experience Ive had in a long time. Salesman dismissive, condescending and unhelpful. Told them to take me off their email list yet I continue to get emails from them. Dishonest, misleading pricing policy makes it even worse. Would never buy a car at this dealership in the future. They have lost my business forever and also my respect with their dishonest tactics.

i was having my car service for the first time. don explained what he thought was the problem. he asked me if i wanted to wait on the car or to go home as it probably would take about 2 hours. i said i would perfer to go home.he said that one of his drivers would be happy to take me. i was pleased. he said he would call me when he was done finding the problem he called 2 hours later. he said it was what he said was wrong and would it be ok if he kept it overnight because he had to order the parts and couldn't get them til morning. i told him yes. he said it would be ready before lunch. and it was. i needed a ride back to get my car and so he once again sent a driver to get me to get my car. he explained what what was wrong and how he fixed it. he was so nice and curteous. i will definitely go back there if and when i need service for my car. everyone was so nice

First they could not find my appointment, but they finally got me in, second after the repairs were made on my door latches one of the caps covering the screw holding the door handle was broken and not replaced which now I have to take more time to go over and have it replaced, third the mechanic must have just finished with an oil change before he got to my car because there was oily hand prints all over the inside of my windows that I had to wash three times to get clean.

I purchased a 2016 F150 XLT Supercab. About the only thing I can say positive is the facility is nice & clean, Ashley from the internet sales staff was nice and they have a good selection of vehicles. They won't disclose online, but every truck is tagged with an additional $400 for a drop in bedliner and $300 for wheel well liners. Neither are removable if you don't want them. So plan on +$700 of the stated online price. I chose a truck with a factory spray in liner and avoided $400 mark up for the drop in. I arrived at the dealership at 11:45am. Ashley was prepared and had the trucks I wanted to look at out front. She even pulled another around so I could compare side by side. I chose a truck about 12:15pm. I started driving home at 6:15pm. Yes, 6 hours later. I asked for my tires to be swapped from my trade in 2013 (I stated this the day before) and requested a trailer brake controller to be installed. The brake control takes 15 minutes to install and was confirmed to me to be a 15 min job by multiple people. I'm also an auto technician and know the time it takes to mount tires as I did the job on my 2013. The first time I was told it would be a half hour was about 2:30pm. At 5pm, I agreed to take a loaner vehicle so I could get something to eat. I WAS GIVEN MY OWN OLD TRUCK!! Yep, I was given the keys to my 2013 that already had the tires swapped over and the used vehicle stickers put in the window. I was also sent the review of my buying experience before I even had the truck (got it at 4pm while I didn't leave till 6pm). To be fair, the sales staff wasn't at fault. Ashley tried. But the service department is the problem, bordering on incompetent. How do you miss the ETA of a job by 3+ hours. If you buy here, don't plan on taking the car the same day. I've swapped engines in cars in less time than it took them to swap tires and plug in 1 electrical connector and flip a bit in software (brake control) and wash the truck. Adding insult to injury and further confirming the service staff has absolutely zero attention to detail, the service tech left the valve caps off my brand new chrome wheels and didn't air the tires up to the proper pressure. So I had to put air in the tires of my brand new vehicle 15 minutes after owning it.

Everyone we dealt with at this dealership was amazing. We were able to take the vehicle for an extended test drive so our daughter could see if it would really work for her. My molding on my Lift Gate came lose, I was instructed by another dealership to go to Auto nation they will know how to make the repair. I was walking through the service dept. when I was asked by Brian if he could help me, I told him about the lift gate and he said pull your vehicle into the bay, he looked at it . then he left to get the parts to make the repair. It took him all of 10 minutes to make the repair. I looked at him and he said you are out of here, have a good day. I will be going back !

I bought a new truck from AutoNation North Canton in May 2015. Beware, be very aware, of their credit app they want you to sign. It allows them to send the purchase to as many banks as they want to, in order to in the words of Marcus a sales manager "find the best rate possible"They sent it to 11 banks, plus Ford Credit. One of those 11 banks pulled my credit twice for the same loan. I just applied for another loan with an unrelated bank only to find out Auto Nation's shady practices dropped my credit score over 100 points. Never again will I do business with any of these shady people. Buyer beware, and make it clear and known that you do not want your credit pulled by as many banks as they see fit to "get you a better interest rate" which actually translates into a higher dealer kickback from the bank they end up financing you with.The only saving grace of this dealership is the exceptional care that Tim Harter shows his customers during and after the sale, unfortunately he is only stuck dealing with the shady practices of the finance department.

my vehicle was hit and they did the repairs. what a mistake, repaired same spot twice and the paint still has bubbles in it like there's water behind it, went back 3 months later and now they are saying the didn't even touch those spots. bold face lie, the paint is even a lighter shade than the rest of my vehicle. that's where the repair was and I'm the victim they forget. never again.

A great facility that gets you in and out in a courteous and efficient manner (when you make an appointment). Making an appointment is helpful, because they are busy (probably a reflection on their good customer service!), and without one it may be difficult to get the work done that you need. This is completely understandable, and not a complaint at all--just plan ahead a little. If you just need a quick service, they have been able to work me in if I show up at the last minute before taking off on another road trip. Friendly, honest and helpful staff that makes dealing with them a pleasure. They even have a handy shuttle that will pick you up or drop you off when needed.

My husband and I were undecided as to buying a smaller truck or another Ford F150, since he had previously owned one years ago. We decided to go to AutoNation Ford on Whipple Ave. in Canton and just look at F150 trucks they had, even though it was close to closing. We were greeted immediately by a very friendly, helpful salesperson, Katrina Gabber, who showed us around and even left us look inside of several trucks. She was not pushy or in a hurry - just very helpful. He found one he really liked but said we would go home and think about it and come back in couple days if interested. We went back the next day, with our 9 month old granddaughter who we were babysitting at the time, and Katrina left him take the F150 for a test drive. He loved it. Katrina helped us go over the features and get the paperwork started at least. We then came back a day later and finished paperwork and drove off in our new Ford F-150. We are both very happy with our purchase AND our helpful salesperson, Katrina Gabber. We would definitely recommend her and AutoNation Ford.

I sincerely regret purchasing my vehicle from this location, let alone going here in the first place. I had found a Ford fusion listed on their website for sale and instantly wanted the vehicle. As they pulled it around for the test drive, the entire car was full of McDonald's bags, wrappers, cups, pop stains on the ceiling of the vehicle, smashed and melted M&Ms in the center console, and so much more filth. But as me being an 18-year-old guy looking for his first car, I decided to test drive it anyways. And after the test drive, I sat and waited eight hours before the saleswoman even came over to discuss financing on the vehicle. After being approved and sold the car, I was informed that they were missing the second key to the vehicle and would mail me one free. Two days after I purchased the vehicle, I spotted a HEAVY transmission leak and a broken motor mount. They gave me the hardest time accepting my vehicle to be serviced, but after a few hours of complaining, they asked me to bring it in and offered me a rental car in replacement while my car was being serviced. Enterprise was to the rental car was from, but even to this day, Autonation has not paid the final day of the rental vehicle and enterprise kept my mandatory $50 deposit in replacement. I waited for months and finally drove up to the dealership again and demanded my second key, which they told me they didn't owe me one, but said they would give me one anyways. They never gave me the second key before this anyways. But overall, I truly regret my purchase from this dealership. I would never recommend this dealer to a friend. Buyers beware.

Went to the dealership just to check out some cars we had looked at online at first. Then the wonderful sales manager helped me to narrow down my choices by bringing me a fusion to test drive. I loved it so much and as a certified preowned vehicle, it included the extra warranty coverage I needed since I'm moving out of state soon. They were so helpful and not pushy at all. He let me keep the car longer and let us officially buy it from the salesman who we had bought 2 cars from previously but had been out when we first arrived. Everyone along the way was so helpful and kind and I'm so excited for my new car! I will definitely be going back!

I came in to pick up my car only to find out that I had been grossly uninformed of my obligations by my Hanover Insurance adjuster. Autonation employees graciously dealt with my melt down and provided me with a vehicle so I didn't have to walk home and find a ride to work tomorrow. Smith Reiss Insurance agency and Hanover Insurance could have cared less. Thank you for helping me. I had a wonderful buying and collision service experience. I went there to look for a used car because my wife had purchased her new vehicle there a few years ago and had a good experience with Mullinax. The saleslady was very helpful and courteous, and I ended up liking a 2011 Impala with about 72000 miles on it. When our salesperson found out that my wife had bought her car from another salesman, she turned us over to him to close the deal, and I bought the car. It came with a 60 day warranty. On the way home from picking the car up, the tire pressure sensor light came on, indicating that one of the sensors was malfunctioning. Soon after that,I noticed that when I started from a dead stop the car would - once in awhile - pause when I stepped on the gas, then jump into gear and lurch forward, an obvious transmission problem. I called the service department and was told to bring the car in and they would take care of both problems. My wife dropped the car off for them to look at. Calling later to check on it, she was told that it was being sent to a Chevrolet dealership to have the transmission looked at, but as for the tire pressure sensor, they were not going to fix it because they had not made enough on the sale of the car to me (!!??) A few days later, after having to rent a car because they evidently don't have loaner cars, I went to pick it up. The transmission had not been fixed because the Chevy dealership could not replicate the problem I was having. I was ok with that, then asked about the tire pressure sensor - I was sure my wife had misunderstood - and was told that the salesman had told the service manager not to do anything because they lost money when we bought the car! Firstly, we paid the advertised price for the car, they didn't come down at all. Secondly, why did they even bother giving us a 60 day warranty if they knew they were not going to honor it. This is very deceitful, especially when it amounted to a $30 repair + labor, although the service manager quoted me a $200 price to fix it. Also, when I took the car in, there was only one sensor out, but when I brought the car home none of them were working. This indicates to me that they started to fix the problem and either didn't know how to finish, or they ran into problems they didn't tell me about and just quit. I had planned on keeping this car for only a short time then trading it in, while it still had low mileage on it, for a new Ford Fusion. This is still my plan, but I know my new Fusion will NOT come from AutoNation.

Very poor buying experience, they tried to low ball us on our trade. My wife and I kept pushing back and finally agreed on 3X their first offer. Free car washes, th e first time we went back their car wash was broke. The next time we went back we pulled into the service area and someone told us to park the car and they would get it and wash it. My wife and I went into the showroom briefly and when we went back out our car had been moved a short distance and someone from the service department came up to us and asked if that was our car. They had no idea what is was sitting there for. When they went to get in it whoever had moved it had locked it and the keys were in the ignition. We had no spare key with us. They tried a slim jim and could not get it open, they cut a new key and it would not work. They finally had to wedge the top of the door open and got a rod in to get the door open. The service manager told my wife it was our fault for leaving the car unattended. The service manager was totally inconsiderate and incompetent.

waited two weeks for passenger side door and front end to get fixed, brought my car in to the ford dealership to get repaired. got both the qoutes on my car for the repairs, not only did ford fail to fix both of the repairs but they charged me extra for tires my 2014 didnt even need! a huge waste of time and money. went to pick my car up after they called me and said that it was done and neither of the spots were fixed, the man i talked to didnt recall me telling them that i wanted both repairs done at the same time. huge waste of time, money and energy.

This would have been a fantastic endorsement, prior to what had happened this evening. Mihai Fuciu was an excellent salesman, he presented several options to me when I came in, and, upon test driving it, we came to the conclusion that a Hyundai 2010 Sonata was an excellent fit for me. This came as an immense relief, finding a car that I loved and also was well within my price range. The car has performed admirably, up until this evening, when, less than two weeks after purchasing the vehicle, the driver's side rear door handle snapped off in my hands, after having been used less times than I can count on one hand, since primarily I have only had one passenger in the car. Upon reaching out to Mihai, it was determined that, unfortunately, the door handle was not in fact covered under the two month warranty that I had been given upon purchase of the vehicle, which instead only applied to major mechanical issues, as I had not elected to take any of the extra warranties that had been offered by the financing department there. I had been made to understand that, for this two month period, damage/malfunctions within the first two months were covered, 100%, and was surprised at the fact that a several thousand dollar repair job such as a major engine malfunction would be covered, but not a simple door handle. I had just been in the show room, less than two weeks prior, signing on to a major purchase through the dealership to make a large purchase from them, one would think that a small gesture such as repairing a door handle that had snapped off through no fault of my own, would not be out of the question. The best that could be offered was to be charged the 'in-house' price for the repair, as opposed to being a normal walk-in customer, though I was unable to get an idea how much that actually would come out to be. Though the warranty, as portrayed by my salesman, would not cover something due to driver error (lack of control of the vehicle, improper maintenance, etc), I am hard-pressed to believe that opening a door would be something attributed to my error. Like I said, apart from this unfortunate turn of events, my experience had been a positive one. After seeing how little they care to maintain a relationship with a customer after the sale has been made, however, I can firmly recommend looking elsewhere.

I called in about a Lincoln SUV that the website showed on the north canton lot. The gentleman that answered the phone was Mihai Fuciu (Roger). I gave him my contact info and within 2 minutes he called me back saying that car is no longer there, but he took the time to look in the search and found another one just like the one I called in for. Long story short, 1 day later, a few calls back and forth, I got to automation to find my Lincoln sitting there! Those people work magic! Finance department had all the paper work done, I was approved before I got there, Mihai had to go to another dealer to bring my car... My search started on-line..great, easy to use site. After locating a 2013 Ford Escape I was interested in, I emailed Michael Bond and received a reply within minutes. He called and could not have been more helpful. After setting a time to come in and test drive/purchase, he called to let me know someone was actually purchasing that car at that precise moment. So he "worked his magic" and lined up another one just different color for almost the same quote. We came in and worked with Michael Jordon on the sale and they are a great team. Living in Cincinnati, I was hesitant to look for used cars not in driving distance. While AutoNation Ford was only 3.5 hours away it was included in my search. I found a car I was very much interested in. The website had clear, detailed photos of the car which put my mind at ease. I filled out the inquiry form on the website and was contacted by the internet sales manager first thing the next day. Michael Bond was very knowledgeable about the car and gave me the honest "flaws" up front. We were able to discuss price and financing over the phone. I was able to view the CarFax and the details of service the dealership was responsible before even listing the car. I was surprised how easy the whole process had been and I hadn't even left my house! I was able to put a "hold" on the car to ensure my drive would not be wasted. I went in to purchase a 2013 Ford Focus. I had done my research regarding the best price and went in to negotiate a fair price. I was presented a price and tried to negotiate. They refused to negotiate at all!!! They said the best the could do was a couple $100 dollars. I was also told "maybe this is too much car for you". I came in to buy a car and not receive judgement from their staff. I am going to be purchasing two cars in the next year and they will NOT get my business. And I would not recommend this dealership!! Also, this was a "new" car and it was disgusting inside. It had dirt on the headliner, the stitching was coming loose on the seat. Not how I would want my new car to look on the inside. It was not kept in "new" condition.

purchased a 2010 Toyota corolla...had some scratches and a bent rim. Dealer did not move on price so asked if we could get scratches removed and a new rim. took to body shop and got some scratches out but said no to rim, and car still came back with many scratches. I think they just waxed it because we saw wax left on it after. after emailing salesman that I still wasn't completely satisfied they couldn't replace a $70 steel rim im a bit frustrated. Overall ok, just could be a little more willing to work with you when you agree to pay full price.

I bought a 2013 Ford Fusion, 6 days after purchase I had to have repairs done because I hit road debris on the interstate. During the Service process, the dealership doing the repairs asked about the prior damage/repairs to another part of the car of which I was unaware. When confronted with this information the Sales Manager at Mullinax North Canton claimed the car came from another dealer and they had no service history. After a little research, I found out that the car was delivered/sold to Mullinax North Canton and NOT another dealership contrary to what the Sales Manager claimed. The sales manager looked me straight in the eye and told me something that, I believe he knew, was in error. The repairs /paint job on the intial damage was substandard and will be a problem "down the road". Very disappointed in the honesty and professionalism of Mullinax North Canton.

Mullinax is the complete opposite of the car buying horror stories most of us have come to expect. Marcus Miller was the most laid back, honest, helpful salesman. Everyone was very friendly and not at all pushy. They gave me a reasonable amount for my trade and presented me with several different financing options. I couldn't believe what a smooth process it was. Most of all everyone at Mullinax wanted to make sure I was completely satisfied and Marcus even gave me a follow-up phone call to make sure I was still happy with my new vehicle and if I had any more questions. I was always intimidated when it came to car shopping, but this place and their staff are not intimidating at all. I highly recommend Mullinax for a new or used vehicle.

Everyone, especially salesman Marcus, was very friendly and laid back. This was not at all the high pressure, pushy, intimidating image I often had of the car buying experience. I was given several different financing options to meet my budget and given a fair amount for my trade. The whole process went very smooth and it seems the goal at Mullinax is to make sure the customer is happy and satisfied with their purchase. Marcus even gave me a follow up phone call a week after my purchase to see if any new questions had arose and make sure everything was still going well. I have been to other dealerships where they were pushy and tried to talk me into things I didn't want just because that was all they had in their inventory. Marcus and Mullinax were the complete opposite of that. They understand that when you are spending that much on something, you want it to be what you want, they were willing to search their other stores inventory if need be, but luckily there was one on their lot that was just what I was looking for. I am very happy with my experience at Mullinax and have recommended them to my friends and family who may be in the market for a new or used vehicle in the future.

I would like to thank the team at Mullinax Ford and especially Dan Peterson for taking such good care of us during...but more importantly, after the sale. I was looking for a fully loaded Explorer. When calling the dealership the "sales" line was answered quickly and a knowledgable person, Dan, helped me before I even bothered to come to the showroom. No promises or sales talk of "sure we have that here.." Only to try to sell us what was on the lot. He found the one we wanted and within 24 hours we were finished. The late hours helped make the difference for us as we work 60+ hours a week. By the way, I got rid of my Land Rover for a 2013 Explorer Limited. Best Vehicle I have owned so far. Try one on for size and see Dan for the right experience.

I recently purchased a 2013 Ford Escape. The salesman, Peter Eggmann, was wonderful to deal with. He went out of his way from the time I set foot in the lot. He asked some questions about what I wanted in a vehicle and immediately found the perfect one for me! The Business Manager, Bill Kaglic, was very helpful with all the paperwork. Did not meet anyone there that was not friendly and helpful. It was late by the time we closed the deal so Peter asked that I come back a few days later so that he could have my new vehicle synced with the latest software download. Peter told me that it would take about 3 hours, so he gave me a 2013 Ford Edge so that I would have transportation and not have to wait at the dealership. I highly recommend Mullinax Ford and ask for Peter Eggmann. What a great buying experience! I will definitely go back!!

Test dove a 2008 Ford Escape XLT and liked it. Told the salesperson that I like it but I thought thier price was to high for what I had seen in the area and on KB. He asked what I would offer and I told him. He was ok with that and offered for me to drive it home over night. I went back the next day ready to purchase it and be done. Got there and it was a total different feeling. I made my offer which was even higher than I told him the day before and was only $1000 less than there asking price. The manager said no that they don't haggle on the price and what it on the window is what the price is. I showed him other cars in the area which were less than his and he said he didn't care. He then even had the nerve to say I should not have taken it home and dove it if I didn't want to pay thier price. I told him his saleperson knew my offer before I even took it home and was ok with it so don't blame me. As I was leaveing he told be good luck on finding something.. not in a nice why. Well guess what I did find a better Escape just up the road in Green for a better price than my offer on the other one. Mullinax is a rip off and plays games.

Dealer fell all over themselves to get me a car that day & then I find out next day the car is recalled for engine fires. I went back & asked to cancel the deal & was told no!!! Now they are calling me telling me to turn over the car to be impounded until a fix is found. If I don't turn the car in & take their rental they say Ford is not liable for the car defect. The car also had an active headlight recall at the time of the sale. Dealer can't tell me how long until I get my car back & I'm still paying for it yet can't drive it. Sales manager (Andy) wouldn't even look at me when I walked in, just sat at his desk & looked down, same guy who went out of his way to find car & sell it to me just hours before the recall.

We drove 2 1/2 hours to test drive and look at vehicle. The salesman, Bill Bishop, was nice and even suggested a negotiated price. When an offer was presented to the sales manager, he informed us that their sales price was non-negotiable. They also had rather high documentation fees. In the end, the sales manager was actually rude to us because we were trying to negotiate a price.

I bought a Ford one year ago and went all over NE Ohio. However, my warranty was recently up, so I wanted to trade in my car for a brand new one. Ford Mullinax was definitely very fair value on my trade in. They drove far to get my NEW car and had it to me within ONE day. Highly recommend Nick Anderson and their manager. Great people to work with. Didn't plan on buying a new car the first place I went this time around, but more than glad I did!! TWO things I have learned Mullinax North Canton was MY BEST OPTION BY FAR. Serpentini Chevrolet in Tallmadge STAY away they are RUDE RUDE RUDE.

I took my Escape to Mullinax after I had been hit in the front-end by a teenage motorist-at the request of Nationwide Insurance.The 1st time I arrived to pick up the car-I refused to take it,the repairs were so shoddy.Hazy headlight covers, forgot to re-enable the fans in the ENGINE, didn't reconnect my remote start,overlooked bad coils- then tried to charge me,saying I couldn't prove these things were their fault/or from the accident!I have had nothing but problems with the vehicle ever since.And it's kind of funny-I never received a survey to fill out!

Finance person was less than honest - he asked me to sign the mileage affidavit on one of my trades which he didn't know the mileage for so he just made up a number! Really. I asked him to redo the form with the actual mileage. He said they had a no hassle return policy for the vehicle within 2 (or 3 days?) and 100 miles. When I got home, I compared the odometer reading to the mileage affidavit for the vehicle I just bought - the odometer was already showing over 100 miles more than the affidavit and all I did was drive home - which was less than 10 miles! Really? Then, I realized the car had problems with the transmission day one. I took the car back to the dealer the next week and was informed the problem was well known and was part of a recall. Why did they not fix that before selling it? Lazy? My impression of Mullinax Ford North Canton - Dishonest and lazy. I will never buy another Ford.

Bought a new 2011 Ford Egde Sport here. After purchasing vehicle got it home and noticed that there was huge scratches and groves in wheel. Called Mullinax Ford and they told me to take it to the nearest Ford dealer to have pictures taken. So i did ford wont cover the damaged wheel neither will Mullinax Ford. So now i have a brand new Edge with large scratches/ grooves in the wheel. Will never buy from here again. Wouldn't recommend buying from anything here. Very unsatisfied.

Would not even make arrangements to look at our trade. Making a note to not call this dealer again. There are other dealers who are more than willing to trade the truck I have. I believe it is because I am open with all my trucks documents and Mullinax Ford of North Canton are not honest to deal with. I have found other dealers with trucks optioned the same as the one they have with 30,000 miles LESS on them,and are willing to trade what I have Out to make a buck is what I get from this dealer. You get one chance with me,and that has passed. Too many other dealers around to be stuck dealing with an uncooperative one.
