If you need a new or used car, see George Pennington at AutoNation in Spring. He's the best. He made the car buying experience enjoyable. The only headache....was the long time it took to get through 'the financing part.' 3-1/2 hours seems a bit long. So, don't believe the finance guy when he says 15-20 minutes! That's my ONLY complaint about AutoNation.

33 Days for a Head Rest

Jimmy Gonzalez - I would give a good rating for him, but the rest....well, read on.33 Days to change a Head Rest. 3 trips and days off work to get a head rest removed and replace. UNACCEPTABLE.Needless to say, my opinion of the services that I have be subjected to are very poor, except for the updates that were provided to me while I waited in the waiting room for the service to my 2014 Town and Country Van by Jimmy Gonzalez. Let me explain. On July 15th, I drove the van into the service department and was told, after someone stood in the lane and looked at the head rest of the van, that I would need to make an appointment to get this fixed. I did but the appointment was not until August 5th. When I left, it dawned on me that no one took any part numbers or other, so I then called back and asked and was told that the appoint on August 5th was so they can take pictures and send forth a claim on this. I stated then, that I was off work already and could come back to have the pictures taken for a claim, but was told that this is not how they work. So for the next 22 days, I would have to drive with a defective head rest in the passenger seat, which is not a very comfortable thing for the passengers, as it jutted out into their heads. Not scoring many points here.I then made two other calls, one to Tomball Chrysler and one to DeMontrond asking if the instructions that I had received were accurate and whether this was normal, and sadly, both dealerships stated the same thing about AutoNation, that when AutoNation took over, the quality of customer care and service went down. So far, this is exactly what I have been experiencing. I brought my van in on August 5th, to get a picture (I guess) taken, so this can be sent forth in as a claim, and over the next 10 days, I received, No Updates, No Status' and No Calls to let me know that I was not forgotten. I sent an email to Jimmy Gonzalez and to the Manager, Mr. Hagan, and then received a phone call from Jimmy stating that the part had arrived on Friday. So now on Tuesday, I was making arrangements to make my 3rd trip to Autonation. When I got there on August 18, they had a loner car for me, so I could get to work and then they would call me when the car was ready. I received a call before lunch, so I took the car back and then waited 20 minutes for them to FIND my van. 33 Days to change a Head Rest. Very disappointing. Will not go back here again, no matter what. Not worth it at all. There are many other dealerships that actually care about their customers and do not make them jump through so many hoops that cost customers so much time.

I had a different representative and was very kind. He seemed genuinely concerned about the issue with this vehicle because I had brought it in many times for the same problem. What I really appreciated was, he kept me informed. I had a family emergency while my vehicle was being serviced and he assured me that he would get me a vehicle to get home to check on my mom. He kept his word. That has never happened on any of my visits. When I returned to pick up my vehicle, he went over what was found and showed that the work was done. He also pointed out the little things like needing new wiper blades that I hadn't noticed and the tread on my tires that are worn. He made it an overall pleasant visit.

I am really disappointed in Auto Nation. The side mirrors are supposed to automatically fold at a push of a button and the console buttons are broken. We called to get it fixed under the warranty and were told no they would not be fixed because these were issues before we bought the car. After looking at the folder with the Carfax I see that these were issues and AutoNation knew about them and chose not to fix them prior to selling the car and now wont fix them. I have bought three cars there over the past 5 years from AutoNation in Spring, TX and I will not buy another one. The fact that the dealership knew about the issues in advance and chose not to fix them is a very good indication of their attitude towards their customers.

Traded in my 2002 Ram 2500 for new 2016 Ram 2500. I located a vehicle on-line with stock #. Showed up at dealership and within 10 minutes was looking at the truck I selected (over 600 in inventory). 20 minutes later the negotiations were over, they honored the internet price, gave me what I wanted for my vehicle, and I was signing the contract within the hour. It doesn't get better than that. Salesman was great, no surprises with F&I guy, and I've got a great truck I'm very happy with. No hassles, no games, no back-door pricing. I recommend them. Looked at a Ford first with the exact opposite experience. I don't like fuzzy math and "payment" games. Worth a look!

I moved to Texas a little more than a year ago and always wanted a Jeep Wrangler. Went to dealerships closer to home in Kingwood but found that Autonation was far superior in every aspect. First time through I bought a 2015 Wrangler using Nathan Stem who was awesome and one year later returned to get a 2016 using Nathan's referral to Eric Kluna who was incredible. I would recommend Autonation and Eric to anyone in the Houston area that is looking for a Jeep or other autos that they are selling. Could not be happier with all of my experiences

Dropped off my truck for a recall in the morning. I called later that day to check on the status of the vehicle. The service advisor never returned my call. When someone did answer I was just passed on on to the next person this happened several times. I called to speak to the service manager and he didn't returned my call either. I made a trip to the dealership to learn the status of my vehicle. I talked to the service manager and learned that the service advisor Connie Kendrick was not at the dealership. About 10 hours later I received my truck back. The worst experience that I have dealt with a dealership service department. I learned from other employees that complaints were made in the past on the service advisor Connie Kendrick. Overall, there is no excuse why any other person could not tell me the status of my vehicle. Bad communication or no communication is not good customer service.

Had recall appointment for recall service. Scheduled the appointment one month out because they didn't have anything available until then.. They said they would have all the parts so they could finish in one day possibly two. I told them I had only two days at the most to have the work done. They assured that the parts would be there. Well they only had the parts for every thing except the two crucial repairs. They emailed me every week notifying me of the appointment stating how critical it was for these repairs. When asked they had a litney of excuses. Not happy!

Took my truck in for 3 recalls. I was told it could take up to 2 days. I told them I would need a car because I live over an hour from the dealer. They said they had no cars so I rented a car. They said they performed a 12 point inspection and I needed two new tires. The truck just passed inspection. The head of the penny does not show. I will never buy a car from this dealership nor will I have my truck serviced there anymore.

Let me just start of by saying I hardly ever write reviews of purchases, however my experience here prompted me to take the extra time and write this review. I live almost an hour away from this dealership and started my day at a dealership minutes from my house. After wasting my time there and being insulted on my trade in value, I walked out. I went online and started searching for dealerships and contacted many. Whitney Camden, promptly responded to my email and we started emailing back and forth....questions, concerns, etc. She sent me a link so I could fill in information on my trade vehicle and I completely filled it out including pictures and submitted it. The process stated it could take up to 24 hrs for a valuation which concerned me because I'd hoped to purchase same day. About 2 hours later I received a great offer on my trade (full blue book trade value). The offer came from the sales manager Jose Sandoval, who had to fill in for Whitney as she had some personal business to attend to. He immediately went to work putting the numbers together on paper and sending it over for my review. Was very pleased with this process. After we got to an easy agreement on the numbers he sent me a finance application to complete online. Once it was approved, he sent me an email to let me know so I could head to the dealership. In this email he told me that Willie Byrd would be the salesman assisting me once I arrived at the dealership. Mr. Byrd called me on my way just to introduce himself and let me know he had everything ready for my arrival. I was apprehensive about the dealership changing my trade in values after I'd arrived, assumed that they gave me a high offer just to get me in the doors....well that never happened. They followed through on the valuation provided via email. When I arrived the paperwork was ready. During mine and Mr. Byrd's discussion, he became aware I was a Veteran of the US Armed Forces. He then showed me how using my USAA membership I could save on car purchases and saved me another $1000 on this purchase! It took a while to get into see the finance person as they were busy (near the end of the month and a holiday at that). Once in with the sales guy it was not the high pressure event that I'd encountered in the past.....GAP insurance, extended warranty, etc. I told him what I wanted and got exactly what I wanted and nothing more.....nothing less. Overall very pleased with the entire experience! Would definitely recommend to friends, family, and anyone wanting to purchase a new vehicle. Every time I purchase a new vehicle, I dread going to a dealership because of the experiences of past, however after this experience, I know where I'll be going to buy my next vehicle and I know purchasing a vehicle can be fun again! Great job guys!

In May, we had to go have the vehicle serviced due to problems with the transmission,we were able to do an emergency drop off. Took my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee in for a Left Rear Shock replacement - took two days for repair. Drove home and noticed loud rattling noise from left rear - called my service advisor to inform her of the situation. Her attitude and willingness to address my problem was "sorry cant tell you when someone can look at it" - really bad customer service. Go elsewhere for service.

Seen a post for a 2015 Durango on cars.com with no photos but only a price and description due to it recently being traded in. Between the description and the price we had to go and see it. I made a call that they and we were on our way. We literally went "just to look" and ended up leaving with a vehicle. Decision was 100% our own with no manipulive coursing from our salesman at the time. We even asked to be alone a couple of times so we could talk amongst ourselves and he complied graciously with no if's, and's, or but's, basically he didn't try to over sell the vehicle which was greatly appreciated. It didn't take much to sell me on the vehicle I wanted as I had already done my research. What I wasn't ready for was how amazing the dealership was. Like many people, I haven't had the greatest experiences with car dealerships in the past, but Adil Razzaq (my salesman) was amazing. Yes he was eager to make the sale, but most importantly he was eager to help and that's what made the difference.

Everyone was friendly, but they moved very quickly and when I mentioned that I need to take a moment to think about it, they told me that there were a long line of people to sign and if I didn't decide quickly, it would expand my wait time tremendously. Once I got home, I decided that I paid too much for the warranty. When I asked the finance manager to lower the price, he told me that the contract went to the bank. When I asked to cancel it, he told me that I would have to wait until I made my first payment. I told him that the car would have more miles on it by then and the amount of the credit would be diminished. He didn't seem to care very much.

We were so pleased to find this truck, and go through the ease of the purchase. We drove 300+ miles (each way) after finding this dealership online. After we returned home, my husband reviewing the information on the towing capacity realizes it wasn't anything close to what the salesman told us. Called the salesman yesterday & he's going to talk to his manager & call us back. We haven't driven the truck since we got home. Sad.

Our experience and deal buying a new Dodge Durango was the best. I took my 2015 Ram 2500 in just for an oil change just to check in my truck took 15 minutes, and it took over 2 1/2 hours for it to be complete. The person that signed in after I did, their car was taken back before mine. When I finally seen my truck come out of service they just parked it! Didn't bother to come in to tell me my truck was complete. My truck sat there for 20 minutes, so I went and asked what is the issue, my truck has been ready. The comment I got in return was not even I apologize it was I'm busy & I have to do paperwork. It doesn't take that long for paperwork...another 20 minutes went by before I got my truck. They should at least keep their customers updated on the status of their vehicle..All I can say is the next time I have to take my truck in I will ask for Sally she is always on top of it, polite, and Great at what she does!!!!

After spending the day driving around looking at used cars, I decided to pass through the parking lot of Auto Nation Spring on my way home. I was approached by Alex (or Alexis as his co-workers call him) and he asked what was I looking for. I informed him that I was looking for an older model "cheap" car that was good on gas mileage. He named a few vehicles and asked me to go with him to their trade in lot. He patiently took me around and even pointed out a couple of cars that he would not recommend for me, as they had mechanical issues and didn't pass inspection. Then he took me to a Mazda 5 Mini Mini Van that was immaculate. I agreed to drive it, even though it wasn't really what I was looking for. However, the mini van was taken very good care of. I decided to go through the process without hours of haggle over the price. He was able to get me a really decent deal and didn't mind going back to the sales manager a couple of times. I wasn't able to take it home with me the same day, as it was a new trade in and it needed to go through their 125 point check system. He made certain the mini van was thoroughly checked out for me and had it ready for me on the promised day. Alex was a great salesman and I would highly recommend him for your next visit at AN Spring. I certainly hope that if I ever have to return for any warranty repairs or service, that my next visit will be just as pleasant. Thank you Auto Nation Spring and Alex! UPDATE: I had to return my vehicle to the service department for brakes that were squealing like a freight train. AutoNation had replaced the brakes upon purchase of my vehicle. When I initially test drove the vehicle with the old brakes, there was no squealing. But since replacement, the squealing nose has started. After speaking with the service adviser, she informed me that semi-metallic brakes were installed and the noise would be normal. And then I was told by a sales manager that I would just have to wash my vehicle on a weekly basis to wash off the brake dust to help with the squealing. I may not be a mechanic, but I am no fool! I dropped my vehicle off at the service department on a Thursday evening so it could be looked at the following day. At 5:30 pm on the following day, there was no update on my vehicle and I could only be told it was assigned a technician and nothing had been done as of yet. I must say that the sale to me of my vehicle was near perfect but as for the service department, I do not recommend. I'm glad I got a refund on my 3 year extended warranty, as they force you to use their service department. And I DO NOT want to return to their service department for any kind of repairs to only be treated rudely!

First, let me say that this was my first time dealing with AutoNation CDJR. To be completely honest they offered the same somewhat lackluster experience that all dealers offer these days. I worked three competing dealerships by email and then by phone for about 7 days prior to selecting AutoNation as the ?winner?, they had the exact truck I was after along with the best sales price and trade-in value. The sale went fairly well after some typical give and take, a walk out, some more haggling, and then the deal. All in all it took about 4 hours or so from start to finish, not bad with some kids in tow. My salesman, Adil Razzaq, was on point and did a great job throughout the process?.until after the sale. There were two items on the ?we owe? sheet that we agreed upon prior to the sale and we were very explicit on what those things were: body repair to a factory dent on the LF door and a full set of Weathertech floor mats (PN included). We were told to come back the next week and made an appointment for Thursday, plenty of time to prepare for the dent repair and have the floor mats ordered and in. Two things happened that day, the body shop guy chuckled at the idea that the repair time was possible in the scheduled amount of time and Adil (the Salesman) tried to push some cheap OEM rubber floor mats instead of the Weathertech mats on my wife. I suppose this was mostly due to cost on his part and the fact that I was not there. The body guy, Robert, was a fantastic guy to work with and he even gave us his phone number so that we could work directly with him for the follow up. By no fault of Roberts we had to come back a second time to complete the dent repair and I had to sort out the floor mat debacle with Adil. When I came back the next Tuesday I found that Adil had transferred to another dealership. Left in the waiting room trying to figure out what to do I came across another Robert, this one in the parts department. I explained what was going on, showed all of the documentation, and he happily ordered the correct floor mats and had them shipped to my house. To sum things up: good pricing, good selection, poor sales follow through, two guys named Robert that deserve recognition for having to clean up Adil?s mess. It?s a shame that it took an extra day of my time to set things right, things that should have been squared away from the start with just a little bit of follow through.

I just purchased a New 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan from Auto Nation this past week. I love this dealership, they are super nice, they try their hardest to work with you even when most car dealerships won't. They are up front and honest, they will try and try to get you in the car YOU want and what's best to suite you and your situation. I love my car!!! Mr. Huburt Steen is an amazing, and sweet salesman, real down to earth guy. He got us in the car we wanted and needed. I have been researching around my area for the best deals, coupons, and really whatever I could do to get the best deal, and the vehicle that suited my family's wants and needs. He was able to proved that for us. We love the car, it's the cheapest mini van in any and ALL other makers. This is where you want to buy your first, second or even third car/truck/SUV/Mini Van!!!! Was a good experience,not great so 4 stars.Not salesmans fault at all.Vehicle paperwork was drawn up at 26K,instead of 28K as advertised Internet price.Not my fault either so I think they should have ate that mistake.As we were getting ready to go to finance I noticed paperwork stated 29K.So didn't work any deal at all on price and tried to add an additional grand.I caught that.Not gonna happen.My only negative is that they seem to not want to negotiate on price at all on used vehicles.Next purchase they will actually work a "deal" with me to keep me as a customer.

Kevin, one of the service advisers was great. Pleasant, professional and appeared to actually care about my problems. Downside was they had my vehicle for just over 2 days and I had to call them to find out when it would be ready! Sure enough, it was ready right then! Other than this, my visit was not unpleasant. Unfortunately, the problems I took my car in for are still there. I did get a free car wash and their 21 point inspection!

This was a great place to buy a truck. I was forced to purchase a used truck due to my truck being totaled by some idiot, but I digress. I did some research online and found Auto Nation on line, also a co-worker was very satisfied with their experience and told me to visit Auto Nation of Spring. I then went to the website and found a truck that I liked and the price was too good to pass up. I scheduled a test drives and Krzysztof Buryk replied to my requested in minutes. I meet him at the dealership, he was not pushy, very friendly, very informative. I was approved for the truck and the rest was history.

Bought my 2015 Ram 1500 Lonestar on Saturday 11/21/15 salesman was great... But then 1 day later the light engine came on i called Chrysler and was told the truck had a recall and i would have to take in for svc which i took it for repair on Monday and the salesman still helped getting fast repair svc and a loaner.. The truck was repaired in 1 day.. When i went to pick it up the truck wouldnt start. The svc man came to chk it out while i was waiting svc guy said it was a connector and it was ok to take. Next day the truck was acting up again gave a Svc Transmission msg and wouldnt come back on. Took it back for svc 11/25/15. Get a call 12/3/15 "I have good news we know whats wrong w it, the transmission needs to be replaced and it will hopefully be ready in 1-2wks" .. I was like really thats the good news.. I still dont know why the truck wasnt just replaced if i only had it for a day or 2 .. I was soo excited when i traded in my highlander but then after all this thats been happening its now my biggest mistake..

BEAUTIFUL truck with upgraded options at a GREAT price! Jorge Longoria was our salesman. He is AMAZING!! Not pushy, or forceful, or annoying like other sales people. Very knowledgeable, informative and helpful! Professional & impressive! He even brought us some water and lunch while we waited for the finance manager! He filled the gas tank up and help get my iphone connected to the bluetooth in the truck! He even help me take some pictures with the Giant AutoNation pink license plate cover in front of my truck and showed me a super cool trick I didn't even know my iphone could do with the camera!!! Thank You Jorge!!The finance manager Maurice Pinkney was also great! He went over everything with us, helped us choose the warranty options that fit us best, and made the financing part virtually painless. Very personable guy. Thanks Maurice!***UPDATE***I've had the truck a little over a week now and apparently there is a MFR recall on it! Ugh! I can't get upset at the dealer, they didn't build it!! When we got the phone call we were told they couldn't get us in until January! WHAT! On a brand NEW truck! But what can you do?! But then Jorge called!! That's right! JORGE CALLED US! And set up service for us to come in right away! Like, same day! The work may take a few days &I have the extended warranty, so I get a rental/loaner. Yay, glad I did that! I called the service dept., and while the woman was very nice, I felt like I got the generic answers. And never was I told I would be picked up by enterprise and would deal with them directly... ugh! (this also means I have to put up a credit card of my own to get it) And I was told that there is a $35/day limit so anything over that I would have to pay the difference ~ double Ugh! Look folks! I went their and had already reserved what type of vehicle I wanted on-line. I go also got an estimation on-line for my vehicle I wanted to trade it was pretty accurate. I went there to purchase a Jeep and ended up purchasing a Dodge Nitro instead, but I love the Dodge Nitro.

Ask for Leroy Johnson! He went above and beyond to get us into our new Jeep Wrangler. My wife had seen a few jeeps driving around the neighborhood and was curious to see how they handled. So we went into the dealership to test drive one. In a matter of seconds we were greeted and shown a couple of different models and then went on a test drive. That was enough for her to know she had to have one. When we returned, Leroy took care of us, and even got us an employee purchase agreement price that I wasn't aware of, saving us a lot of money. We were totally satisfied with our experience and would definitely recommend shopping here.
