The buying process was sweet as pie. But when I got home I realized cargo mat was missing. So I called my salesperson and his response to be patient and he will send one to me when he runs across one.A few days later I brought my s5 to my mechanic to have winter tires installed and to install the front license plate holder that the dealer gave me.An hour later, my mechanic of 30 years called me to tell me that the wheel lock key was missing. I called by salesman and his response is that he will take care of it.A week later, after repeated calls e mails texts , nothing. No satisfaction.This will be my last Audi and I will definately not patronize this dealer again.

I recently purchased my second vehicle from Autohaus. The first was from their VW side in late 2014, and now I have experienced the Audi side. The experiences has only gotten better since 2014 after they renovated the complex. Sales: Hernan Diaz-Egg is the best salesman I've dealt with, bar none. Not only does he go above and beyond his call of duty, but he does so without being invasive. Rather than hammer me with phone calls and emails during a busy work day, communicating via texts results in a non-pressure sales experience in comparison to the usual dealer-buyer relationship. This is just my experience as a millennial; Those who would rather a more personal 1-on-1 relationship will certainly get it if desired. My brother has also purchased from Hernan, coming down from Allentown just to buy here, and would sing the same aforementioned praises.Service: The service department has always delivered on their work. While we all understand the pricing of these vehicles are much higher than your basic Japanese car, the price is not out of line. I regularly use their shuttle service downtown. I only wish that they would offer a shuttle back within a certain range of their dealership (nothing and Uber can't fix though). The waiting area is very nice and they even have an antique car collection downstairs to help you burn some time waiting.Overall - Autohaus will never leave you in the dark. There would not be this many rating on a website without the unique buying experience they offer.

I just leased a new Audi Q5 from Autohaus. Hernan took excellent care of me. I was VERY nervous, as I haven't had my own car in two decades...for 20 years I have had a company car. Hernan took me on a test drive, fully explained the Q5 to me, answered all of my questions, and followed up, but there were NO high pressure tactics applied. I am exceedingly grateful for his and Autohaus' professionalism. I checked into two other brands, test drove, got quotes. By far, Audi had the best deal and the best service. Such a pleasant experience, start to finish.

WoW! I just had the most satisfying car buying experience. Of course, it helps that the new 2016 Audi A7 quattro Tiptronic is a remarkable machine that I am thrilled to have acquired. But this review is really not about the car itself, but rather the pleasure that I felt working with fine and fair people at Audi Lancaster, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.As a summary, (if you dont want to read this entire review,) Audi Lancaster is a large dealership with a terrific philosophy of doing right by their customers which means highly competitive pricing and warm, informed, genuine and professional service by the various people involved in completing a transaction. When I got in the car to leave, I noticed that the tank was full of gas, a very generous gesture that was never even mentioned to me by anyone. In todays era of tight pricing and competition, this is a real cost to a dealership, for one car, or across a portfolio of sales, and I found it special that the dealer went to this expense, without even promoting the fact that they had. And of course, I love my carOk, well, now let me share some background. I am from Colorado, and temporarily on the East coast, in Connecticut. I had identified five A-7s in the United States that had a very useful night vision feature that I wanted. One car was at Audi Lancaster, and it happened also to be the exact color scheme I most desired. I called the dealership and asked for the Audi Sales Manager, and got connected to Wray Beinhauer. Immediately I could tell that Wray is a naturally warm and genuine person. When I explained what I was looking for, and that my goal was to actually complete a lease of the car in a few days if we came to terms, Wray went to work. Within a short period of time he came back to me with a proposal, that, right out of the box was a very fair deal for me. I had done my homework, and knew what my various costs should be. Though negotiation comes very naturally for me, I was appreciative of Wrays proposal which literally almost exactly met my expected target. We initiated our conversation over the phone Wednesday morning, and agreed to terms in the early afternoon.There were a range of complications. We needed to figure the Colorado title and tax situation; Audi Financial Services, the leasing arm, needed to be brought into the loop, and Wray needed to make certain that there were no glitches in being able to deliver the car to me Thursday the very next day. Since I needed to be in Lancaster in person to execute the various documents, we wanted to be sure that I would be able to drive back in my new car! By 7 that night, Wray confirmed that all was in order and I arranged a rental car for early Thursday morning.I knew Wray would be out on Thursday, and on the way down I received a call and a text from Hernan Diaz-Egg, a Client Advisor, checking on my arrival time. I made it to the dealership at about 3PM and met Hernan, just one of the nicest guys ever, who was completely dedicated to making my car purchase perfect. Hernan has a beautiful smile, a twinkle in his eye, and his feet on the ground, and is highly knowledgeable about the product, and totally aware of what it takes to be helpful to a purchaser. It gave him great pleasure to introduce the car to me, and to introduce its remarkable features, and his promise to always be available for questions and to help was purely genuine. My only disappointment is that I am in Connecticut and Colorado, thus wont have many opportunities to stop into Audi Lancaster to say hello to my new friend.The documentation process also involved working with Michael Wanner, the General Manager. Michael has a depth of knowledge that can be utilized to address any issue; is very efficient, and is the kind of guy who is fun to spend time with and brings a smile to your face, knowing that he has every detail covered.Well, needless to say, I left the dealership at about 5:45 PM, Thursday, just a day after beginning negotiations, and after having spent a few hours completing the docs and going over the car with Hernan. The drive back to Connecticut from Lancaster does take a while, but it was really enjoyable, since I was in my new ride. And the experience from start to finish was relaxed, warm, professional and eminently fair.

My experience with the Porsche service writer can only be described as awful. He was rude misinformed and only seemed concerned with running up the cost of my service. This is based on several years with at least 4 visits for service. Do yourself a favor and find a dealer service outside the Lancaster area.

When my car died recently, Autohaus Lancaster was able to look at it the same day my husband took it there and advised us of their findings. Unfortunately, they were not good so I had to find a replacement car very quickly. Fortunately, they had a very nice used Audi on their lot, which we purchased. The salesman was extremely helpful in getting everything in place for us to make the transaction occur quickly since I travel a distance to and from work daily and could not afford to be without a vehicle. We have dealt with Autohaus Lancaster for years for service on my old car. Shaun,in the service dept., has always been very courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Since this is actually my first car purchased from this dealership, now I can say, the salesman we dealt with, Hernan Diaz-Egg, is very courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional as well. I would gladly deal with Autohaus Lancaster again, and again. Shaun and Hernan are excellent representatives for this dealership and I would gladly recommend this dealership based on them and the quality of work we have had done in the past.

I cannot say enough about how positive of an experience I had at Autohaus Lancaster, Inc! I had been searching for this particular pre-owned model for 6 weeks and over a 500 mile radius. When I first contacted Autohaus about one of their CPO vehicles, I was immediately put in touch with Hernan Diaz-Egg. Hernan quickly understood I was well read on the model and thoroughly answered every last question about this car, including the details about the existing Audicare and the cars history. Working with Hernan over the phone, it was clear to see he is passionate about customer service not just selling cars. After a few short days before the end of the year, we worked through the details and I left all the deals in DC behind, traveling 2 hours away from my home to work with Hernan. I had another excellent experience purchasing my 4th car from Autohaus Lancaster. This is the BEST dealership I have ever experienced in the 27 years I have been buying cars and both Hernan and Wray were great to work with. The dealership goes out of their way to make you feel like a "real person" and not another tick mark to meet their quota. Whether you deal with a salesman, the sales manager or the owner you are treated with respect. This dealership is the poster child for "no pressure". For my latest transaction my schedule was accommodated when testing an SQ5 over the last few weeks. At every step of the way all of my questions were answered and while making my decision Hernan and Wray were trying to determine the best deal for the new car and my trade. When closing the deal late on a Friday evening the sales team jumped into action when I arrived. In record time the transaction was complete along with a training session on how to use all of the technology in the car. Also, I will add the service department is great, too!! As a person who is particular about his car, they always treat my cars with care and respect. They have completed all of my service appointments on time and within the original quote. Great all around!!

Hernan went above and beyond to earn our business. He had them strip the protective wrap off of a Q5 that was delivered that morning, had the car prepped, work the deal and we drove it home at 7:30pm the same day. We received no excuses why something wasn't ready or delays, just fast, attentive and professional customer service......very much appreciated!!!!

I would recommend this place to anyone, I emailed about the car in advance and H had it washed and ready for me when I arrived. I ended up buying a completely different car, but still an Audi. H was great and never was pushy which makes the process of buying a car so much better since you can actually think about what you really want. The dealership is very clean and modern and the car was exactly what I wanted.

Recently, I bought a CPO Porsche from Autohaus Porsche Lancaster Pa. I had been working with Dean Fry on finding trying to find just the right one and finally one came in. As it was being traded, Mike Wanner let me know it would be available. After a quick test drive, it was the right one. Mike, Dean and Ray made the experience great, taking care of details, finances and amenities. I had purchased a VW CC 3 years prior from the same crew and that also was a great experience. From sales, to service and parts, the Autohaus team has done a great job once again. Highly recommend.

I have owned Audi's for 30 years. We moved to PA 8 years ago from NJ. The being experience we had at Audi Lancaster (Autohaus), was one of the best we have ever had. Autohaus dealership a total 5 for making a bad situation right even though circumstances ended up not in anyones favor! Unfortunately, I could not stay with the same salesman I met as soon as I walked in the door, Vivek Shah. Had I been able to my experience would have ended up being rated a 10. Readers Digest version, Vivek was with the Volkswagon sales and I ended up falling in love with the Audi A3 in which Vivek was listening to my reasons for buying a car in the first place. I was then passed off to another salesman who sold the Audis. We ended up striking a deal but a car had to be located. As I told you I will keep this short, Communication is the Key. Unfortunately, the located car did not have all the options I assumed would be there. Key word assumed my fault. The salesman who located who I was working with should have made sure both parties were on the same track! What car was test driven? What was the customers expectations? Unfortunately, key options were missed and the car brought in did not work out and these errors were only caught when the deal went too far! It was delivered and I only caught my assumptions and expectation of options in error in the darkness of my driveway. Lesson to learn = make sure your expectations on a located car are there before you sign! There should be a check off sheet/method for cars that need to be located before anyone is hurt through the process! With todays social media tools a simple template in an email would be a quick thought! I know I will have an Audi A3, however I will be searching for it on my own. Autohaus did make it right that is why the 5rating. Would I go back? That is up in the air. They do not deserve a bad rating as they are a superior dealership locally and everyone I met, Vivek (first representation of Autohaus), Wray (Sales Manager), and Chris( Finance). All were wonderful! It just so happened the salesman I ended up with (names are not necessary) maybe you will dot your Is and cross your Ts with them better than myself!

I had a wonderful experience leasing my new Audi from Autohaus. The owner, Tom Wanner, was extremely helpful and kind as was the sales manager, Wray and my salesperson, Hernan. I truly felt like a VIP! During the entire process, Hernan introduced me to the service personnel, advised me how long they had been there, introduced me to person after person, manager after manager although I am sorry to say, I do not remember their names. Everyone was friendly, welcoming and helpful. I don't usually find the time to write letters to let people know how happy I am....unfortunately most of us only let people know when we are dissatisfied with a product or service. I felt so strongly about the experience that I felt I should take a few minutes to sit down and let you know how happy I am. I love the vehicle, I love the exceptional customer service, and given my experience will definitely bring the vehicle back for servicing! Thank you! Everyone did an incredible job and thank you Hernan for answering all of my questions (even the dumb ones after the delivery of the vehicle that he answered via his cell phone!)

Found a certified pre-owned Audi A4 of interest on the their website on a late Thursay afternoon via Cars.com, submitted an inquiry and within an hour was contacted by Hernan Diaz-Egg. We had several conversations in which Hernan educated me on the vehicle and worked out the plan for me to drive down to Lancaster from Rochester NY the next day, a ~300 mile trek. I also had my 2007 A4 as a trade. We arrived late Friday evening after the dealership closed but Hernan met us and let us into the showroom to see the vehicle. We returned the following Saturday morning and by noon were the owners of a beautiful pre-owned Audi A4. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the facility is new and impressive including a basement pseudo 'museum' of vintage German automobiles. Hernan deserves special recognition as by far the best sales representative we have ever dealt with, he is personable, knowledgeable, and sincere. We had a wonderful experience with Hernan and the rest of the staff.

I do a lot of traveling between Pennsylvania and Michigan and I had come across the perfect cpo Q7 for my growing family at Autohaus. Hernan Diaz took care of everything for me while I was in Michigan so when I finally came to Pennsylvania I just had to sign a few papers and was out the door. As someone who has purchased many vehicles and has dealt with the "typical" salesman, Hernan is any but. Straight to the point, no sneaky tricks, and no pressure tactics. Hernan is simply just a great guy and I will be dealing only with him when it comes time to purchase my next Audi. Excellent experience.

Came late one night with my son around 7 just wanting information on a new Jetta for my son. My son and I were greeted warmly by Vivek S. I told him I was just starting to get information and was not here to buy that night. He gave us the info we wanted and showed us exactly the car we wanted, all within the price limit we had! He treated us as if we were a customer serious in buying and was more of a guide than a pushy sales person. He told us to come back when we had more time and when the whole family was available. We came back on a busy Saturday and we were again accommodated the same way! We drove the car we selected and after a couple minutes of him showing us the features we were in love! When it came to buying the car, he got us a great deal with a special offer and made sure we understood everything about our new Jetta before we drove off! Kudos to Vivek and his team! Will be back soon to buy my Audi from Vivek!!

9-22-2014 my car was totalled by a dump truck in N.H. when a man crossed the road in front of me...guarding a slow moving turtle. That turtle started my search for a new vehicle. Living in Wisconsin...my family assisted me in looking for something we could fit in....and enjoy. We decided we wanted a used 2010 Lincoln MKX Limited. MY wife wanted a certain color...I wanted a "loaded vehicle" with all the goodies. I went onto the web...trying to find exactly what we were looking for.Three weeks later...found the car at Autohaus Lancaster, Inc....800 miles from where I would have liked to have found my new car. From the moment I contacted the dealership....I was treated like royalty!!! Chris Chapman-sales handled the negotiations and we closed the deal....after several phone calls....car listed with features...Car Fax verification...and assurances that the car WAS everything I wanted and would be satisfied with. Three connecting flights to Lancaster...through a lightening and thunder storm in a Piper aircraft....I came. Delayed by the storm...arrived in Lancaster late in PM...cab awaiting....hotel awaiting...(ALL ARRANGED BY CHRIS)...picked up in next morning to dealership. Chris Chapman....and everyone made buying the car a great pleasure. I might be "nuts" to have gone through this "adventure"...but I can assure you...I love my car...and Autohaus dealership. Final note....Autohaus was a lot more satisfying...and faster than that turtle!!!

Test drove a used 2014 Audi TT yesterday and loved it. When we went to close the deal I was told (by Steve) my loaded 2013 Toyota Tundra Double Cab Limited with 4400 miles was not worth what the leading automotive web sites (KBB, NADA) say it was by about $6000. When I questioned it they told me that this was all they were willing to give me for the truck and that if I wanted more then maybe I should go down the street to Carmax and sell it to them. I was very insulted by the way I was treated and needless to say I will never be coming back to any of your dealerships.

AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP!!!I contacted this dealership's Internet Sales team to inquire about pricing for a Black 2015 VW GTI Autobahn. I expressed my interest to purchase the vehicle if the price was right and also inquired about military discounts available, financing rates through VW to compare against my credit union, and the process to purchase/register the vehicle from PA to MD where I live.I was transferred to a regular sales guy who said I could get the car, with a military discount for about $900 under MSRP. TrueCar estimate for my area was about $1800 under MSRP. It wasn't a spectacular deal, but it was the only package/color car I could find within 75 miles.When I inquired about the process to purchase the car in PA and have it registered in MD (to include paying taxes, tags, etc), they said they had the capability to do it.When I inquired about financing rates through VW, I was told 0.9% for 5 years. I requested clarification on whether that was for 2014 model years or if it included 2015 model years as well. I was told it was for all VWs. I also emphasized the reason for asking was I could get a 1.9% from my credit union and have all paperwork ready before venturing to the dealership.Satisfied with the quotes in pricing, financing and explanation of how the car would be registered, I scheduled an appointment for Saturday, July 19, 2014 to purchase the vehicle.When I arrived, I went on a test drive with the sales person. He demonstrated the amazing handling of the car before handing the keys over to me to complete my own test drive. Satisfied with the performance of the vehicle, we proceeded back to the dealer to draw up the paperwork.I was told that I wouldn't be able to drive home with MD tags on the vehicle because their normal person that issued tags didn't work on Saturdays, so I would have to drive the car to a title/tag place to obtain transfer tags. I was also informed the paperwork obtained from the tag/title place would be all I needed to obtain registration in MD.The loan paperwork was drawn up and when presented, it had incorrect MD state tax amounts and the financing amount was 2.4% instead of 0.9%. They fixed the tax amount and said the 0.9% was only for 2014 vehicles, contradicting their previous answer, leaving me with either the choice to take the higher rate or delay the purchase of the vehicle. Since the dealership was an hour away, I opted to deal with the higher interest rate and consider refinancing later.I next confirmed my insurance with the dealer to take ownership of the car. This process took a little longer, as the information had to be related to the sales person several times.Next, I drove the car to the tag/title place with the sales person in tow. On the way, he activated the VW CareNet service, but before I was fully complete, he hung up because the tag/title place was closing in 5 minutes. When inside, I found out the cost of these transfer tags were above and beyond the sale of the car. Not a huge deal, but this was the first time I had a separate out of pocket expense to get a vehicle on the road. As we wrapped up, I asked if everything I had was all I needed to go to the MD MVA to get MD tags. I was told yes.Satisfied with the answer and convinced the dealer was an expert in areas necessary to get a vehicle on the road for its customers, I then took the sales person back to the dealership. He asked if I could hang out for a second to make sure he didn't have anything else for me. After sitting in the car for about 5 minutes, he asked me to come in and SIGN THE LOAN APPLICATION! Yes, they almost sent me on my way without signing the loan application. I signed the loan application and went on my way. Total time at the dealership was about 2.5-3 hours.After a few days, I started to complete the paperwork required to register the vehicle in MD. I filled out everything I needed except for the loan information required for the title. I had to wait until I received that information before I could venture to the MD MVA. I finally received the information and proceed to the MD MVA on Tuesday, August 5, 2014. 17 days after purchasing the vehicle and 17 days into the 30-day transfer tag life span. When I arrived at the MD MVA, they told me I need the title to register the vehicle. After I explained the course of events and the guidance provided by the dealership and the tag/title place, the MD MVA stated there was nothing in their system and that without the title, they couldn't help me. They also said if I paid the taxes, Autohaus must complete the registration or provide a refund of the taxes paid so I could pay MD.I immediately called the tag/title place and they researched my issue. The sales person, called me back and said the tags will be sent to me via FedEx and I should have them in the next day or two. I went out of town from August 7th - August 16th, expecting the tags would be at my house when I returned. Much to my surprise, they were not. I called the dealership and the sales person and left a message explaining I needed the tags delivered before Monday morning so I could get to work. Saturday night, I received a text message response from the sales person telling me to call a Registration person Monday morning because that is the person who processed my paperwork. This obviously didn't help me get to work on Monday.My 30 day transfer tags expired the next day, so I was unable to drive the vehicle until I could get a valid registration in MD.On Monday, August 18, 2014, I called the dealership and asked for the Registration person by name. I was told no person by that name worked there. After explaining my situation, I was directed to the correct person. She took my information and said she would call me back. I never received a call back from her, but I received a call back from the sales person. He stated that the issue is out of their hands and in the hands of the tag/title place. He said it will be a few days until I get my tags. I asked which title service Autohaus used and was told Beacon National Auto Tag and Title. When I expressed my frustration about the inconvenience of me having to track this down and having no way of getting to work until I got the tags, all I got in response was, I understand your frustration, but there's nothing I can do. I asked when my application for registration was sent to Beacon National Auto Tag and Title and his response was, "that happens up in the office and that's like a whole nother world." Convinced talking to this sales person was not going to yield any results in resolving my issue, I ended the call.I decided to call the Autohaus VM Sales Manager, to elevate my issue. After explaining the history to him, I told him I either needed tags that day or they could come pick up the car and refund my money. He stated the refund wasn't an option, so he'd try to help me out, but since it was so late in the day, he doubted anything would be resolved that day. I expressed my frustration that it wasn't my fault it was so late in the day OR that the tags expired. He asked if he could call me back by 5:15pm so he could track down the status of my registration and asked if he didn't hear from me by then to call him back. I accepted and hung up.The Autohaus VM Sales Manager called me back at 5:19pm and stated he tracked down the issue. He said there was an issue with Beacon National Auto Tag and Title not being able to read my license number from the photocopy of my license and that they resolved the issue. He said he was going to email me a FedEx tracking number for my tags with an estimated delivery date of August 20th or August 21st. I asked him how I was supposed to get to work between now (Monday, August 18th) and when I got the tags. His response was to drive the vehicle anyway because it should be in the system. I told him I doubt the MD State Police would see that as an acceptable reason for not having a valid registration. He said it wasn't a big deal. I then asked him when the packet was sent to Beacon National Auto Tag and Title and he said he didn't ask that, he only asked about when I would get it. He didn't offer to find out.I waited 20 minutes after I hung up with him, and still didn't receive the FedEx tracking number. I sent him an email to ensure he had my correct email address. He responded with the tracking number. The next morning I checked the tracking number and it didn't exist. I sent him an email asking to confirm if the tracking number was correct and he said he would check.Unsatisfied with the service and answers I've received from this dealership on any topic thus far, I decided to call Beacon National Auto Tag and Title myself to get their version. Here is what I was told.Beacon received the request from Autohaus on July 30, 2014 (12 days after I purchased the vehicle).Beacon responded to Autohaus on July 30, 2014 requesting clarification on my license number (6 days before I initially called requesting the status of my registration).Beacon didn't receive a response from Autohaus until August 18, 2014, 18 days after Beacon requested clarification, 1 day after my tag expired, and coincidentally on the same day I called the dealership again.Beacon also stated Autohaus was scheduled to receive the tags on August 19, 2014 from Beacon and that I was scheduled to receive them from Autohaus via FedEx tomorrow. This explained why the number the Autohaus VM Sales Manager provided was not found.Since I hadn't received any response from the Autohaus VM Sales Manager on the invalid FedEx tracking number, I responded to him with the information I received from Beacon. I also told them I trusted they would place high priority on ensuring these tags made it to me by the scheduled delivery date of tomorrow.I also reiterated that I had a brand new car sitting in my garage that I couldn't drive yet and that I was greatly inconvenienced in my ability to get to work for 3 days. I expressed my thought that this was all due to the negligence of Autohaus and the issue was exacerbated by Autohaus's attempt to cover up their negligence. I also relayed my concern that since I called on 5AUG to inquire on the status, this could have all been resolved prior to the expiration of my transfer tags.I expressed my regret in using Autohaus, but was hopeful they could rectify the situation and provide some sort of compensation commensurate to the level of inconvenience and lost time/wages caused by this chain of events.As of September 5th, I have yet to receive any response, acknowledgement or apology from Autohaus, the VW General Sales Manager or the Sale person for the horrible service. Steer clear of this dealership. No part of the experience was good. Pricing, financing, service, knowledge, accountability, expertise... ALL SUBSTANDARD.

After the May Hailstorm, I had to venture out to purchase a new car. I absolutely hate the process. My car that was ruined was only 6 months old, so i was dreading the thought of staring over. Our overall experience at the Lancaster Autohaus was excellent, and the dealership was very clean and bright. When buying a new car, that you work so hard to have, you definitely want it to be a positive and exciting experience. Donald Meshey is a young professional salesman who listened to our every need. We recently left the Reading area VW dealership due to the salesmen being very pushy about who I was going to finance with, since it was not them. We walked in to Mr Meshey and my husband told him what we wanted and how we wanted to handle things. This young man made us feel like it was "all about us", offering us coffee and water prior to getting down to business. He also had a very down to earth way about him that made us feel comfortable. When you spend 30K that's how it should be. He explained everything in detail and was very knowledgeable about the model we were interested in. His style was very much about the customer and he conducted "good business" in a none pushy way. His manager Mike Wanner was also very professional and efficient in getting us the internet price I had researched. I felt he gave us a very fair price on our trade in, a 2006 Passat. We will definitely come back to the VW Lancaster Autohaus and I have already recommended this place of business to my coworkers. This is now our 5th Volkswagen purchased from Autohaus, and our 3rd Salesman. We have had a gas Golf, 3 TDI Golfs and now a Jetta TDI Sportwagon. Hernan Diaz-Egg did an excellent job and had all the bases covered. He was able to get a color and features combination I wanted in a Jetta TDI Sport Wagon. We have had excellent service from the service department, especially Frank Lucier. Unfortunately we have needed bodywork on occasion, but when the body shop is done the cars look like new. I was very nervous to go back into the car-buying process, and especially nervous to visit "slick" dealerships. However, my experience with Hernan was very positive. He and the other staff were very accommodating when I had a delay in getting the legal documents required for the transaction, allowed me to take the used car in question to my own mechanic, and were polite, down-to-earth, and personable through the entire process. I trust that I have a good car and had a good deal. Although I live in another part of the state, I would certainly consider returning here next time I need to shop, though I hope I won't have to anytime soon!

Purchased my certified used Vw in 2010. It has been in the shop so many times for repairs, very frustrating. Major engine and turbo problems. The technicians were supposed to fix a smoking and oil consumption issue. The last repair under warranty did not resolve the issue. When I received the follow up service call I voiced my concerns about the unresolved issue and asked them to have the service tech call my husband. We never received a call about our unresolved issue. Now the car is sitting our local repair shop awaiting a diagnosis because it just drinks quarts of oil. Very frustrated..feel like we got a Vw lemon and can not even tell you how disappointed we are with Autohauze and Vw and their customer service and repair center....

I went to Autohaus to specifically buy a CPO Volkswagen I found online. I worked with Hernan Diaz-Egg who was fantastic. He is definitely an above average salesman. He listened to exactly what I wanted and made himself available at anytime (day/night) to answer my questions or concerns. Hernan was able to work out an extremely fair price on both my trade-in and the car purchase which was ultimately my main concern. My only complaint about the process was the time spent in the dealership. Both times I was there I felt like it took an hour more than necessary. It was a small complaint, and most buyers are aware that they're going to spend a fair amount of time at a dealership when buying a car. We were treated very well at Autohaus when purchasing a new VW Jetta TDI over the July 4th holiday. Hernan Diaz-Egg treated us well. We weren't sure what car we were ultimately purchasing and he was very friendly and accommodating, allowing us to do many test drives to make sure we were happy with the model we purchased. I feel I got a fair trade-in value and the manager Gary, helped to make sure that transaction went smoothly. We did wait for an extended period of time before we could sign paperwork but it was a holiday and they were busy. They were very apologetic and made us feel comfortable during the the wait time. Overall I would recommend Autohaus if you are interested in purchasing a new car - prices seem very reasonable and they are wiling to work with you to make sure you are satisfied - we are!

When I walked in the dealership, I had no intentions of walking away with numbers in my head, all I was going in for was to see what used cars were on the lot, and maybe even getting the chance to test drive one car. But as fate would have it, I was put in the very capable hands of one of Autohaus's most personable employees, Hernan Diaz-Egg, almost as soon as I walked through the door he was there to greet me with a warm hello and a firm handshake. I was with my grandfather and father, to look at a used GTI. Looking around the lot I saw what was, in my opinion the exact car that I was looking for. After test driving the car, I was in love. But my grandfather was reluctant on chasing after a used cars, "They only bring problems!" he would tell me all the time. So I sat down with Hernan and discussed options that I could take where I would find a car in my price range and still get the feel and look that I desired. Hernan was ready for the challenge. After many visits to check with his manager he was able to find me the perfect car. A brand new Golf. Everything was falling into the right place, and Hernan was even able to negotiate a deal that worked in our price range, so everyone could come out on top. Once Hernan's job was done, he made sure that we were taken care of until we were driving off the the lot in the new car. Filling out the paperwork was a breeze, and everything was laid out honestly and clearly. I have been around many car deals, and this was possibly the easiest one that I have been apart of. Everyone at Autohaus was friendly and willing to chat and talk about cars and whatever else while you wait. Shopping for a car was as simple as shopping for a T.V. I cannot recommend this dealership enough, if you want a Volkswagen, Audi, or Porsche look no further to Autohaus, with their friendly staff and vast collection of new and used cars there aren't too many places around that can compete, and once their buildings are completely done being renovated buying cars will be an even better experience.

Having previously owned a Rabbit and Jetta, I was trying to decide whether to buy new tires for my 2004 Passat, or replace it with a newer model. Upon checking the Autohaus website, I found a red 2010 A-4 that caught my eye, and when my wife and I visited the dealership to check it out, we had the good fortune to deal with Hernan Diaz-Egg. Hernan made our car buying experience a pleasurable one, Angie Dietrich (Sales Business Manager) made the required paperwork seem easy, and, just like that, we were able to drive home in our beautiful new car. The next day, when I had a question about a previous repair, Hernan arranged for Justin, the Service Manager, to explain the car's service history to me. From start to finish, we enjoyed a wonderful experience at Autohaus, and will be sure to tell our friends!

A few days ago , I had made my first trip to Lancaster Autohaus. I was greeted in the lot by Hernan Diaz-Egg. I had mentioned to Hernan about by current financial situation and the type of car I was looking for. He took his time listening and understanding my concerns. As a female, sometimes car salesmen can be some what overbearing or intimidating, but this was not the case with Hernan. I just recently purchased a 2013 Volkswagen tdi suv and i was serviced by Hernan diaz-Egg as a sales rep Hernan diaz is a great example of what a sales rep should be, excellent customer service, answer all my question and was very imformative of all the steps of my purchased. Now i have to be honest that the dealer manager Gary Mollitor from the volkswagen side made me feel very uncomfortable while at his dealer he made me feel not welcome, i visit the dealer several times and this guy never even made an attempt to greet me while at was there, i mean i dont have to spend my money there many other dealer would be happy to take my money the only reason i made the purchase at his dealer was due to the sales rep. I recently purchased a vehicle from Autohaus Lancaster. This is the third vehicle that I have purchased here. The dealership is really clean and nice. It's in a great, easy-to-access location. The prices are great. But there is one sales representative that stands above the rest, and that is Hernan Diaz-Egg. He is extremely kind, courteous, and helpful. I have purchased all three of my cars brand new from Hernan. The first car was a Jetta that I bought from him, ever since then I haven't been able to be happy purchasing a new vehicle from anyone else than Hernan. He's truly a phenomenal sales representative.

Recently my Nissan 350Z needed some body work done to fix some damage on the door. I had heard great things about the bodyshop at Autohaus, and my insurance company worked with the dealership. I was definitely satisfied with the fantastic job that the bodyshop had done, and in such a timely manner....it looked brand new! While there, and taking some time to look at several cars on the lot, I had an interest in a striking red 2008 Audi TT. As much as I enjoyed my Nissan, I was very interested in getting more information on this Audi. The sales team at Autohaus was so informative, helpful, and I believe went above and beyond to make it happen! Before I knew it I was driving away in my new Audi!! I live in the Balitmore, MD, area and purchased my A6 from Autohaus Lancaster (an hour and a half away)in 2006. While shopping for my car, I contacted 16 dealers within a two hour radius of my home and came across all kinds of sales people, most of whom only wanted to sell what was on their lot and didn't take the time to understand what I wanted. Authohaus had the car I wanted but with extra options I didn't want to pay for. The salesman, Gary Jung, called me back to tell me about a special Audi rebate which lowered the price to my range AND gave me a lot more bells and whistles I wasn't expecting. I had a wonderful buying experience with them. I have been taking my car back to Autohaus for service ever since, even though there is a dealer 5 minutes from my home (who was especially unhelpful during my initial search for my A6). The Autohaus service team has been extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They are very knowledgeable about their product and have always offered a free loaner car. I recommend them without reservation.
