Positive Experience

I had been looking online for a gently-used low-mileage vehicle. After searching through several sites, I noticed three or four cars out of Wilmington were being advertised as lower than anywhere else in eastern NC. When I checked more closely, I saw that they were all from Auto Wholesale. After reading nothing but positive reviews, I decided to go check them out for myself. It was a very positive car buying experience. There was no pressure to buy. John and Rob were who I worked with and they both encouraged me to test drive different vehicles to see if I found one that I liked. The comment was even made that if I didn't see anything today that more would be coming in next week (again no pressure to buy). After finding the car I wanted, Rob walked me through the finance piece. He even helped me get a little more for my trade-in. I was very pleased with the experience at Auto Wholesale and will certainly encourage others to start their car shopping here!

Smooth & easy transaction;-)

First time I have ever been able to browse and not be shadowed by a sales person asking me a bunch of questions I really don't feel like answering. You can browse in peace and get answers to basic questions without feeling any pressure. Everyone in the office is helpful and friendly. Knowledgeable too. I was in early on a Saturday morning and left take a break and think things over. After doing more research on line I decided to head back and closed a deal that I felt very comfortable with. Auto wholesale

Our first experience with Auto Wholesale, but will not have a problem with buying another vehicle if needed in the future. Auto Wholesale was recommended to my husband and I I by a friend, and after purchasing a car from them we would definitely recommend them to our family and friends. We were able to research the vehicles on line, making the process of choosing a car much easier. When we arrived on the lot we were greeted by the salesman , and given the key to test drive the car. My husband and I were able to take the time by ourselves to familiarize ourselves with the car and then test drive it. Still uncertain about making the big decision we asked for the car fax , and decided to look over them that evening. The next day the salesman greeted us again and we purchased the car. We r very happy with it, and for once in 0ver 50 Years of buying cars were we actually able to come away feeling comfortable with getting what we wanted without the pressure. Thank u Auto Wholesale

Great Experience

I was skeptical going to a car wholesale place on Market Street. I drove around by myself to see their inventory. I saw a car I liked and checked it out online at their site.I met with Tim Hughes who asked me if I wanted to drive the car. I thought the car was great and since it was for my wife, I asked her to drive it too. The deal was closed the next day. They made us a great offer on our trade, and the deal took all of 15 minutes for us to complete. It was by far the most pleasurable car buying process that I have ever experienced.I will use them again and again.

I couldn't have asked for a better car-buying experience! Their website had plenty of information about their available cars, so I could compare prices, features, etc. before even visiting the lot. When I did stop by, I was immediately greeted by a sales rep and invited to take a look inside the car that I was interested in.The sales rep I worked with, Drew Hodge, was awesome! He answered all of my questions and followed up about some additional information regarding the timing chain. Throughout the price discussions, I never felt pressured or condescended to; Drew was helpful and explained everything clearly. Best car buying experience I've ever had.

My wife and I drove all the way to Wilmington from Havelock, based solely on the amazing reviews left here. And the calibre of cars that Auto Wholesale had listed. From the second we walked in we loved the place. Clean, very relaxed atmosphere. It was so easy to just go test drive any car I wanted. They gave us space to make our own decisions which was a welcome break from other dealerships. Rodney was our guy and he was amazing, easy to talk to, super knowledgeable and pleasant. I bought a used 2016 Honda civic that is amazing. Literally like having a brand new car and for an almost unbelievable price.If we are ever in need of a new car, we're making the two hour drive from havelock again. I wasn't planning on buying a car that day but they had just the car I wanted. They answered all my questions, let me take the car for a long test drive, and made it very easy for me to make a decision. There was no pressure and they were open late enough for me to go over after work to buy the car. Best Car Buying Experience Ever!!

We were driving buy the lot and happened to see a Mini Cooper sitting there. It was not the model we were looking for but we figured we'd take it for a spin anyway. After a test drive, we decided this was the car for us. Rob made us feel comfortable and made the whole process very easy. The price was below book, no pressure, car fax was given to us without asking. This place is the model for what all dealerships SHOULD be doing. We had been shopping around and had stopped at a few major dealerships. Their process is painful. Auto Wholesale's process is enjoyable! These guys are absolutely awesome - seriously!!

We just purchased an Acura RDX (2015). My research indicates we got a really good price and a good value on our trade in. Bob, our salesperson, processed our sale quickly and provided excellent service. I never experienced pressure sales tactics. We test drove the vehicle on a Friday and did not get pressure to "make a deal today" like so many cars salesmen do. We returned Monday and made the purchase. I would recommend Auto Wholesale to friends.

I had been shopping around for cars for a while and was not overly impressed at prices and selection in my area. Then I went to Auto Wholesale and was really pleased with the whole process. Great Prices, Friendly, Stress Free Car Shopping

We just purchased our second vehicle from John at Auto Wholesale and we couldn't be happier. We shopped around with other local dealers, only because we were looking for a specific vehicle, and all we accomplished was spending hours in a dealership being tag teamed by salesmen and managers. After feeling very discouraged I went home and looked at Auto Wholesale's website and immediately found two vehicles I was interested in. My husband and I went there the next day, John handed us both sets of keys and told us to take our time looking around and to come get him if we had questions or wanted to test drive. It is a refreshing experience being able to test drive the vehicles without them going with you and them encouraging you to take your time. Needless to say we loved the vehicle and decided to purchase. The closing was fast, simple and we were ready to go in around 30 minutes. John explained everything to us, got us a great rate with the payment right where we wanted it. There was no hassling or pressure and no talking sideways; the staff here are straightforward and all about customer satisfaction. I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH A GREAT EXPERIENCE BUYING A

I was looking for a newer car and my husband and I were out scouting around on Sunday. After visiting the local new car dealers, we stopped at AUTO WHOLESALE and actually found a car I was interested in. We returned on Monday and John, our salesman, handed us the key and told us to take our time and not to hurry. At this point my husband was surprised that he gave us the key and didn't get in the car with us like so many other dealers do. When we returned to the showroom John laid out the offer and what our trade was worth. The decision was made and the paper work was done. We left the dealership in a relatively short time with my new car. I can honestly say that when my husband bought his new vehicle at a local new car dealership, we spent the entire day there. We got there at ten in the morning and got home at about seven that evening, and this was a cash deal. Thank you once again John for making this a very pleasurable experience. As an afterthought, I would like to say that the quality of their inventory was extremely good and the prices really can't be beat. Something really refreshing---an honest used car dealer.

Horrible Experience!!

We contacted Auto Wholesale because they had a Toyota Rav 4 we liked. We got a drive out price that might have been a little high. My husband tried to negotiate with Tim Hughes, who pretty much sneered at his offer, then began telling us new excuse after new excuse. Early on in the process, we might have actually just paid what they wanted. But after hearing all the stereotypic used car salesman lines.....including "another customer was waiting for us to decide because they were definitely going to buy the car"....we chose to leave. (By the way, that same little car is still sitting on their lot.) Price counts, but price isn't everything. Our visit was so bad I would not recommend even trying with these people. We went out the next day and bought a beautiful little car at a comparable price and had a completely professional and friendly experience.

Easiest Car Buying Experience

We found the car we were looking for online and immediately contacted Auto Wholesale. Rob Curtis answered all our questions and worked with us since it would be a week before we could come see the car. After driving 2.5 hours to Wilmington we were pleasantly surprised to drive up to exactly what was shown in the online pictures of both the car and dealership. Everyone was friendly from the moment we arrived until we left. I felt like part of the family. All the arrangements that we had discussed on the phone were accurate and it was the fastest car buying experience we had ever had. Aside from our positive experience I was impressed by the prices and quality of cars they have on their lot (they were in better condition than going to a new car lot). We had been looking for over 4 months and the price we paid was well worth the search. We will definitely be returning for the purchase of our next car.

Simply put the best car buying experience I've ever had! Great selection of cars that are almost brand new. I bought a car that had 1500 miles on it for 20% off the price I would have paid at a new car dealership and did it all in about 45 minutes! They have earned my business in the future for sure.

Recently bought a difficult-to-find Lexus from the dealership making this the second overall purchase. Almost drove to Raleigh to pick up the IS350, decided to check with Auto Wholesale by contacting Drew. Ironically, they had an IS350 on the lot, bought it without as much as a test-drive even. This was my second purchase from Auto Wholesale and Drew, the first being a 2010 Acura MDX. Now I'm hoping the buy my 3rd vehicle from Paul and his team, specifically Drew, to replace the totaled out Lexus I just purchased. The owner and Drew are great people, have always been professional, fair and respectful; making this my first stop when purchasing a vehicle. Saw a car I was interested in on the Auto Wholesale website on a Sunday, went there on Monday morning and completed the test drive, trade-in, and paperwork within 1 1/2 hours and was on the road with my nearly new car. Best prices I could find on the web for year/make/model were thousands more than Auto Wholesale. We did experience a slight issue with the car after we got home but returned to Auto Wholesale the next day, they took me in immediately, road tested the car, mechanic diagnosed the issue (all in fifteen minutes) and found it was covered under warranty. I bought a car from Rodney Yohe at Auto Wholesale. They provided great service and made the buying experience very enjoyable. Rodney was extremely knowledgeable and has a very refined approach. 1st time and great buying experience

My wife and I had just spent 2 1/2 hours at a competitor's lot and left without a vehicle and very frustrated, not only in the shopping process for a vehicle, but we had driven 45 minutes because of a internet shopping excursion. Rob, the salesman at Auto Wholesale, came out, asked if we had an idea of what we wanted or what we were looking for and showed us to our eventual purchase. Had us take the vehicle for a test drive and then the fun really started to begin. When we said yes, Rob, got out the paperwork, we discussed price, (not much of a discussion), the price was right in line with what we thought the vehicle was worth and what we were willing to pay. The longest process was the paperwork, but Rob made it easy and was very efficient in the way he handled things. All in all, if you want a vehicle and they have it, this is the way to go. Quick, painless and one of the more enjoyable vehicle purchases that I have ever been involved in. Just think, this was the first time we had shopped here. What if Rob had known us beforehand for our previous purchases?

A very pleasant transaction!

Traded in a 15 year old PT Cruiser for a 2014 Kia Soul ! with 9100 miles. I worked with John Canoutas, but the whole staff is easy to deal with. John worked with me to make the deal happen. Around 2 hours including a test drive. One of the team members even paired my Bluetooth. Thanks to all who made this an enjoyable experience. The lay back sale man is the way to sell cars. The gentleman was courtesy. I road tested the car. Meet with the sale man he offer us a fair deal on the purchased car and our trade.. With-in 30 min.s from the time we walked on the lot ,the transaction was complete.Very pleased.

Nicest staff ever! There's never any pressure, just a desire to find the right car for you. If they don't have what you want, Paul will do his best to find it for you (and he's always succeeded for us). We think we are qualified to make this statement because we have bought seven cars through Auto Wholesale. We love dealing with Tim and Paul. They've become like old friends, but more importantly, every car we've bought from them has been in excellent condition and has lasted beautifully.

Great experience! We went by on a Friday evening late and decided to return Saturday morning. We saw a Lexus 350 we wanted to look at and test drive. We arrived around 10:00 am and we were home happy and satisfied riding in our new 2013 Lexus by 12:30 noon. Best car shopping and purchasing experience we have encountered in years of buying cars. Good, no hassle sales staff

Good experience with the lads at Wilmington Auto Wholesale. Like their sales approach - NO HASSLE - 'here's the keys take a spin (by yourself) and see you when you get back.' You don't get locked in a room while the sales staff beat you to death - nor do they hound you with phone calls and/or emails. Love my "new" vehicle

Our son and his wife spotted a vehicle at Auto Wholesale that they thought I would be interested in; even test drove it for me since we do not live in Wilmington. I had my old Highlander for 12 years and hated to see it go but the one I bought from Auto Wholesale was in excellent condition and made the decision easier. Fantastic Auto Mechanics - Top Notch

I have seen the Auto Wholesale body shop for a little over a year at least - from the simple flat tire/oil change/light bulb change to the more complex - 'what is this vibration my wheel and engine area are making?'. Two Wilmington 'chain' car service places had no idea what was causing it and had no recommendations for fixing. Over time, it got worse. I had an automatic lock go bad on my vehicle so I brought it into Auto Wholesale to get fixed, and asked if maybe they could tell me what it was - assuming they'd think I was crazy, sort of like the first two times I'd asked others. They did not. They found the problem and could fix it!! Not only did my automatic lock get repaired, but when I got back in my vehicle - it was like getting into a new vehicle because the ride was so much different - the problem was gone. It was loose motor mounts. The other car service places had me do various system flushes, to see if that helps--and didn't even recommended a mechanic or talk to me about other alternatives. Nathan Evans & staff are friendly, honest and always do the right thing by me. They show me what is happening in my car and teach me what they're fixing. You simply cannot ask for anything better in a car service place. They're now what I call "my mechanic", hands down and am SO pleased to have found them. My Ford car is going on it's 8th year - 100,000 miles and I want to keep it happy and healthy another 50-100k more! Then, when I am looking for my next car, you can bet I'll be starting with Auto Wholesale. I appreciate and enjoy them so much--if I have to part with my money on repairs--there's no better people in Wilmington to support.

the only place I will buy a car....

We were expanding our family so this was a big but important decision for us....process was easy. Did extensive research on which vehicle we wanted. Price was reasonable and gave us a fair amount for trade in. Other dealerships didnt compare to price, trade, or customer service. Salesman was not pushy...knew his stuff...HIGHLY recommend to buy your vehicle from here.

Mercedes 2014 CLA long distance purchase

I bought my first car on Monday from auto wholesale. Tim Hughes helped me through the entire process. I saw the car online Friday evening and called about it then Saturday got a loan approved and spoke with Tim over the phone several times. I live in South Carolina 5 hours away from auto wholesale so I never saw the car in person. He got me in touch with a small company that drives cars to people and Monday is the first time I saw the car. I felt no pressure to purchase the entire time I dealt with Tim and no pressure to purchase even after they drove 5 hours to bring it to me. I am more than pleased with the car I got from them. It is in amazing condition and like a dream car for me that I thought I could never afford. I highly reccomend buying from auto wholesale even if you live to far away to check out the car. I was definitely nervous since I didn't see the car until 2 days later but I am so glad it worked out the way it did. I never thought buying a car would be this easy!!

Professional & Best price in town!

I had been trying to find a Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland for a while and the only one that had my eye the dealer just would not negotiate the price. Apparently they wanted the Jeep more than they wanted to sell it. I came across the Overland at Auto Wholesale and Tim Hughes was quick, honest and friendly with getting us a tag to test drive. When he found out that I knew Rob Curtis he gladly transferred us to him. It was nice being at a dealership that you didn't have that ominous feeling that one salesman wants to kill another one for taking their sale. Not at Auto Wholesale. There is no sales manager trying to negotiate; its just you dealing with one guy going through the sale which was awesome! I highly recommend this dealership. I test drove the vehicle had no pressure to buy right then. I asked for the final pricing no gimmicks or fast talk was given just straight talk no pressure. A price was given and that was it. Finally a dealership that gets it!

After getting hammered with the hard sell and blatantly lied to at other dealerships, I hate to say it but I was 'loaded for bear' when I got to their lot. I could not have been more pleasantly surprised. Tim Hughes was our sales person and it was just one person helping another person look at cars. It was no hard sell or dragging us from one car to another. He let us look and answered questions and when it came to the trade in, showed us comps from auctions, and trade in websites. I feel we were treated fair and square. I have recommended them to friends who are looking for new vehicles. My only regret is that I didn't go to them first because I could have saved myself some time and aggravation. Would definitely buy from them again!

Just when you think all car dealers are alike ...

... you need to go to Auto Wholesale. This was the easiest buying experience I ever had. At no time did I not know what the process was, and how my trade was handled. There was no "smoke and mirrors". Tim Hughes was thorough and up front. All the staff that I encountered were the same. I never felt that it me versus them. This was truly a "win-win". I can just imagine the dropped jaw at the dealership I had been to a few hours before where I doubt I was taken as a serious buyer or they thought I was a naive buyer at best. Great Experience

Auto Wholesale gave me the best car buying experience ever! I was allowed to test drive without any pressure. The car I bought is a 2013 and it looks like a brand new car.....super clean inside and out. The price was within my price range. There was no question of whether I was getting a fair deal or not. My insurance and my financing was already taken care of when I picked the car up. It took less than 10 min to get the paperwork signed and my own tag placed on my new 2013 Rav4. I purchased my Ford Fusion from Auto Wholesale 8 years ago...it was such a great car and a great experience that I decided to go back and try them again. I stopped by just to look at a few cars to get a better idea of what I wanted. They were so helpful and not pushy...which makes you feel so much more at ease. They didn't have a Kia Optima on the lot at the time which is what I was really interested in so I left my information and a detailed list of what I was looking for. The next morning I received a text with a picture from Thomas Hughes (aka...BEST SALES MANAGER EVER!) It was a perfect match to what I asked for... :) I tried getting my own financing but was denied due to some old credit issues, but Thomas said " I can get you financed!" Straight forward

Tim was quick with the financing! Didnt even have to go to the bank! Customer service was great! First oil change on them when financing. They are straight forward and provide all the information needed to insure you are getting a good deal. In the time I was there, they sold two cars (not inlcuding mine) and were repeat customers who had purchased a previous vehicle. Definitely best prices in town!

Not your typical car-shopping experience...

Went car-shopping knowing what car I wanted; the only question was the kind of deal I was going to get. Tried the dealership first and they were nice enough and seemed reasonable, but they played the pushy "what-do-I-need-to-do-to-get-you-behind-the-wheel-today" salesman character to a tee. I refuse to shop anywhere other than Auto Wholesal

I like to change cars fequently and refuse to look anywhere else other than Auto Wholesale. Even though I never have a car for more than a year or two, I never felt even remotely taken advantage of on my trade ins. They always offer me top dollar and if they sell my trade in on theither lot, I'm always shocked at how little they sell it for compared to what they gave me for it. I just bought my 11th car from them. Shortly after buying it, I had a slight mechanical problem with it. It's the first time any of their cars have given me any problem what so ever. Auto wholesale accommodated me and were far more helpful than the car company whom the car was still well under warranty with. My wife and I were looking for a newer car. We test drove probably six or seven cars before we chose the one we bought. Never any problems with asking to drive one after the other. Salespersons do not go with you, plenty of time to talk with your spouse about the vehicle you are testing. All prices are displayed on the car, no wondering. No pressure what so ever. A must if you are shopping for a newer vehicle. Lot's of choices as well.

Great vehicles in top condition

We were not planning on buying a second car anytime soon, but drove through the lot out of curiosity and drove off with a 2013 Toyota RAV4 Limited! We were surprised at the large quantity of late model vehicles with low mileage. Spotted the "pearl" RAV4 and took it for a hassle free test drive by ourselves. It was showroom new in mint condition with only 8,500 miles. Decided to see what we could buy it for. Wonderful Experience.

My wife and I recently purchased a car from Rob Curtis and his outstanding team. When we arrived, 30 people didn't rush out the door to pressure us. Instead, we took our time, walked the lot and found a few cars that peaked our interest. We asked for and received the keys, so we could look inside. All through this process, no pushy salesman harassed us or pressured us at all. When we did find, what we hope is the right car, we took a test drive. Get this, it was just she and I. No salesman came along to offer his/her option. We really knew at this point we wanted to try and work with group. Once the time can to talk about money, the process was still great. I was a first time buyer, and I was not sure what I was looking for and I was told too many times that I will need a co-signer for my lack of credit. I had a friend who bought a car from Auto Wholesale and I decided to give it a go. It was awesome. I pulled up walked in, Spoke to Mr. Tim Hughes and he was able to get me in a car only ! year old 8,000 miles on it and I was able to get financed right there. I was impressed with the business these guys have going. The service was great - friendly and helpful, but not overly pushy like some car dealers tend to be. They have an amazing inventory of quality pre-owned cars. All of their vehicles have low mileage, two owners or less, and clean CARFAX. On top of that the prices are very tough to beat! The rumors are true

My wife and I searched their website (awesome by the way) and found they had the best price around on the vehicle we wanted and in better condition than the big manufacturer named dealership. The very best car buying experience ever.

Great car, great price, great service. Very happy. Rob was on top of everything, honest and straight forward. I got home and discovered a problem with the paint. Now, it's pretty easy to be nice when everything is going good...but when something goes wrong.... That is when you see the true colors of ..well, anybody. Great Experience with this Group

These guys are great! I was in a market for a new car. I held on to my old one to the bitter end mainly because I dreaded the whole car buying process; pushy salespeople, inflated prices, hard to cross compare makes and not to mention the amount of time you have to spend at one place. I just bought my second car at Auto Wholesale from Tim Hughes. The entire staff is very friendly, there's never any pressure. The whole process of buying a new/used car is always a daunting experience, but Tim made is so easy. Greatest dealership ever

I just bought my 7th vehicle from Rob here. A 2011 Mini Cooper S. It was very well priced and in the car is in like new condition. Ever since i have walked in the doors of this dealership years ago i have only once shopped somewhere else and that was to buy a brand new vehicle. That was about 9 years ago. It was one of the biggest mistakes of my life. I have vowed to never shop anywhere but Auto Wholesale after that experience. I have lived up to my word thus far. On average at least 1 to 2 years go by between visits to look at another car but the minute i walk onto the lot Rob walks out and shouts my name out and greets me. How the guy has so many customers and remembers my name a year or two after my previous visit is beyond me. I can not stress enough that anyone would be wasting their time if they shop at any other dealership anywhere. I don't care if I move to Abu Dhabi, I will still only shop at this dealership. While i was there Rob was handling another lady that was a previous customer then moved to Louisiana. She had came back to buy her second car from rob while i was there. There is no pressure the minute you start shopping at this place. They have just about any car imaginable and if they don't have it they will try to find whatever it is you are looking for. I ask that anyone looking for a car please stop by this dealership and experience the most unbelievable car shopping service ever. You will not be unhappy.

Just bought a like new 2011 mustang here for a great price. The dealership and salesman were excellent. Very straight forward and didn't try to pull any tricks (my dads sold cars his whole life and told me what to watch for lol). Gave me a discounted long term warranty. Had the car washed and gassed up ahead of time. And as a coffee lover the single cup machine with multiple roast options was great. I would recommend this dealer to friends/family and anyone else.

Amazing Car Buying Experience

I have never had a positive car purchase experience so I was blown away buy how fast, easy, exciting, and enjoyable it was for me yesterday! Rob was our Sales Manager and he was so laid back yet thorough! He answered all our questions, was straight to the point, and really went out of his way to make it work for us! We even got to chat with the owner who was a down to earth great guy too and we LOVED the fact that he was VERY picky about the products that he puts on his lot! My husband and I were looking to buy a fairly new used car. We found a 2011 Kia Optima with low mileage and in great shape. HAD to see to believe....

Been shopping for a car and live in the worst place to buy a car. Myrtle Beach where most of the dealers believe they sell on an island. Used cars are marked as high as 40% over ALL buying tool sites. I won't even begin negotiating at those levels. Cars.com com consistently had one used car dealer standout as far as posted prices. Every time I saw a late model with a great price I saw the name Auto Wholesale and the familiar "car on a checkerboard", I had to take a ride to see if they were offering salvage or what. I was met by a friendly sales person who immediately shared auction prices on a special app. Very believable since I had CarMax just make a cash offer for my vehicle. They did the same and was in the same ball park. This WITHOUT the usual "pick a car" first. I talked to many people shopping who had purchased 5 or more cars there over the years and would not consider a new car dealer. The owner was accessible and very open and honest. Not your typical "used car leak lot" Most vehicles including new models with 1000 miles were priced with a little wiggle room and fair. They were clean and the assortment was across the board. No usual little old lady, we have too much in this car, guarenteed for LIFE!" Back stories on every car. Just good stock. ZERO pressure. Very good trade in offer. Its as if they KNOW they have grat cars and great deals and are confident in their product enough not to HAVE to SELL it. I had just come from a high Volume Toyota Dealer up the road and the difference was astounding in atmosphere and attention. I witnessed a $30K deal beginning to end and spoke with the buyers and they were very happy and did not go round and round with the double and triple team tactics common at many "TV/radio yelling ads with heavily edited 1000 word in 12 second monotone disclaimers" I spoke with other buyer who were given the keys to no less than 5 vehicles to just go try out. They had purchased 5 previously. The dealer had no issues with my research or eavesdropping. In fact seemed to encourage it. I did not find a truck that day as I was more on a curious mission. But I will go back there to replace my wife's Rav 4 with another low low mileage one for thousands less then can be purchased locally IF you find one on the local lot. Myrtle Beach needs this kind of dealership. No green pea sales people. Professional and upfront. You don't get the impression they think if you leave you won't come back. It is as if They KNOW you will. I will when I am ready and know what we want and see it on the checkerboard squares. I suggest anyone looking for a late model used car at least pay a visit.

Drove two hrs for a particular truck I was after. Read the Reviews here and talked to Rob on the phone. I worked at and dealt with many dealerships in the past and this by far is the best I have ever seen. No Pressure sales and friendly service.

I will never go to another car dealer again!! These guys are great and will work with what you have!! I live in Charlotte and recently purchased a used 2012 VW Eos at Auto Wholesale in Wilmington. Rob was my sales person and from the initial phone call to the final sale in person, he made the entire process simple and pleasant. I was even able to get a very reasonable trade-in value (and credit pre-qualification) over the phone. Auto Wholesale had an incredibly competitive price for the Eos - nearly $6,000-$7,000 less versus any other dealer I searched. The car was practically new (only 900 miles) and in mint condition. I drove the 3+ hours to pick up the car and was very impressed with the quality of the dealership facilities and customer care provided by Rob and staff. I was done with everything - including the trade-in inspection, test drive and paperwork - and on my way back to Charlotte in under 90 minutes. These guys are good and I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a high quality car purchase at an unbeatable price.

Vaguely obsequious

I spent a Saturday replacing my destroyed 2003 Altima. I drove all comparable models. When I made the decision to buy a car the loan process was fast and easily comprehendible. The 2011 Altima I ended up buying from Auto Wholesalers some 2 months ago was purchased at a very competitive price. The bank Auto Wholesalers used gave me a very low interest rate. The cost of the 2011 Altima was less than I had planned so I upgraded seats and trim to leather, still under my budget. Best of all it's a very sound automobile.

I am a female from the Myrtle Beach area and went looking for a nice pre-owned Beetle in Wilmington. Great Experience

My husband and I did quite a bit of research and visited many dealerships before rather accidentally finding Auto Wholesale. I will make them my first stop in the future when buying a used vehicle. I especially like the fair manner in which they do business. Car are priced right from the beginning which eliminates a great deal of the hassle. Although, like any dealership, I am sure they are making more money in the long run than they'd want to admit.....however, the way I look at it....we got a good deal and they made money. My wide and I have had a lot of experience with car dealers. Most of it good, some not quite so. But these guys are the most open and honest people I have ever dealt with in the car business! (They must be in the wrong business! :-)) Seriously, I always dread the process of buying a car, but they made it a very pleasant experience. These guys have really nice cars. We bought our second car from Auto Wholesale last month. Our first experience was so great, we decided to buy from there again. Rodney Rocks!

I had been to 5 different local car dealerships before stopping at Auto Wholesale. I had 2 cars from another competitor I was seriously considering. When we arrived on the lot, we didn't get bombarded by desperate salesman coming at us like a group of zombies. We found a car that we wanted to see, spent about 2 mins. looking it over before Rodney approached us and introduced himself. We wanted to take the car for a spin and my husband jumped in the back and Rodney said he might want to ride in the front. I asked if he was coming along and he said, "nah, you guys take it for a spin and have fun." LOVE THAT! Upon negotiating and talking numbers, Rodney brought out the form and showed us what was paid for the car. No secrets there! And we were able to deal with Rodney from start to finish. No financial managers whom I've never met to deal with behind a mirrored glass. From the moment we entered the lot, we felt completely comfortable. Rodney worked very hard and quickly with different banks to get us the finance rate we needed and could afford. It was by far the BEST and easiest time I've ever had buying a car. In the past 18 months we have purchased 4 vehicles from Auto Wholesale. Their vehicle quality and their prices are excellent.
