Fantastic Experience Buying a Car 525 Miles Away

I'm from outside Chicago, IL and I was searching nationwide for a newer Lincoln Town Car. I found Auto Collection on the internet through their advertisement of a 2008 Lincoln Town Car Signature Limited with only 90K miles. They delivered it to a place of my choosing to have it gone over. After 10+ hours on the road to pick up the car, they gave me as much time I needed to go over the car with them. There were a few things I wanted fixed (buttons to the map lights front and rear). They said, "no problem." They were very courtesy, kind and professional. Long story-- short, the car is excellent, they sent me brand new oem center front map lights unit and rear light-handle units, going beyond my expectation. When I discovered 2 days after having the car, my switch to the heated seat was bad, I called Hans and he said he send me a switch, no problem. They made my experience, purchasing a car and being so far away, a comfortable one. I never bought a car before looking at it myself first.They gave me a fantastic price, really working with me to get to whereabouts I needed to be in price. It was a real pleasure to deal with Hans and all of them who were a part of this great car buying experience. I hope to do business with them again someday and I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a good honest deal. Very refreshing.

Very Unprofessional

Tried to buy a truck for my son. When we entered negotiations, Hans took out his cell phone and appeared to be calling someone. After talking about the truck we were looking at purchasing, he hung up, laid the phone down and said, "I have another customer looking at this truck. He is willing to drive up from Atlanta to purchase it." I have never seen such a sales tactic used. Very unprofessional!

Simply the Best!

I was looking to buy a new car. I had looked at several dealerships in Nashville and Franklin and surrounding areas. After weeks of searching and no results, not to mention, poor customer service from all of the dealerships. A friend recommended Auto Collection of Murfreesboro. Honest Used Car Dealership

I purchased a 2003 Infiniti G35 a few months ago from Auto Collection of Murfreesboro for my oldest son to replace a truck I regretted purchasing for him following graduation. The guys at Auto Collection have great attitudes and put up with my shenanigans during the negotiations and car buying process. They had not completely finished detailing the car when we showed up and wanted to test drive it. They completed cleaning the car up including a few little things I wanted that most places would not have done. They were up front with all the work they had done on the car already( head gasket, struts, control arms, rotors, brake pads), additionally they replaced a headlight and then the connectors after the headlight went out again. I was concerned about what appeared to be an small oil leak, which they thought might be attributed to a gasket that had already replaced but they added a 90 day warranty that covered everything and specifically wrote in fixing any leaks. Turns out it was leaking, specifically around the rear main seal. They took it in and fixed the leak without any fuss, which is what they had promised. The car runs like a champ and we have not had any problems with it since. I would highly recommend doing business with Hans, Fred, and Shawn at Auto Collection of Murfreesboro, they were a pleasure to deal with and I will absolutely go to see them first for any future car purchases I am considering (two more teenagers in high school to buy cars for upon graduation). Used Car Purchase

I purchased a used Mercedes from Auto Collection of Murfreesboro. I have to admit, I had never purchased a used car and was very distrustful of used car salesmen. But, the employees were very professional and helpful. When I met the owner Hans, my fears were immediately put to ease. He was very honest and sincere. I got a great deal on my car and I Love It!!!!! Hans even offered services for my husband's car, that wasn't even purchased there. I'm a worrier, so I called the dealership several times with questions about my car. They let me bring my car in anytime I wanted. Nothing was wrong with my vehicle, seems I just needed to read my owners manual. Lol!!! I would highly recommend this dealership. You will not be disappointed.

Smoothest process ever!

My husband and I purchased a truck here 4 years ago and Hans, Fred and team were a pleasure to work with. They ensured we received what we were looking for at a great price as well as accepted our previous car as a trade in. They worked with the warranty company for the necessary repairs which gave us peace of mind that we were also receiving a clean vehicle and that the person that would purchase our old car would also not experience the problems we previously had. We are still enjoying our Navigator :) Three weeks ago we got my mum a new 2015 Nissan Altima at a great price with very low mileage and included the warranty. The process was so smooth for her and us that she didn't have to lift a finger and found her new car in the garage with a red bow!! She's very happy with the car and her friends will definitely be calling Auto collections of Murfreesboro looking for a new car themselves. Great guys, great team and especially great cars!

Best Customer Service, EVER! Hands down!

A little history about myself, I've been buying cars since 1986. I know and understand the car buying process. I've dealt with many dealers in the past. When I say that driving 4.5 hours to Auto Collection to buy a car might seem strange to some, call it "Divine Intervention". When I found the car I liked at Auto Collection (a one owner G37x AWD with less than 20,000 miles), I decided to read the reviews, not ever believing or placing my decision on reviews because I know that sometimes they are generated internally, but these reviews were answered by the dealership. I knew that they were honest. So, I ventured on to Auto Collection to look at the car. Not for myself, but for my daughter, who is an attorney that was somewhat skeptical of my reason for picking this dealership. We decided to meet at the location. I set up an appointment for my daughter and I to meet with Haun. When we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms and they were already prepared for us to see and test drive the car. There was never any pressure to buy the car. Conversation was car and general. We felt like we were buying a car from family. They took care of all our concerns about the car, never wavering or making us feel uncomfortable. I'm not saying that they will commit business suicide to make a deal, but they'll come mighty close. I can't wait until my son graduates from Vanderbilt so that I can take him to this dealership to experience this excellent customer service. If you're looking for a car and you believe in "old time customer service", this is the dealership for you!

Great Dealership

I just purchased my car from Auto Collection of Murfreesboro over the weekend. They are such a great group of people to work with. There was absolutely no sales pressure, and no pushy employees. Once I decided to purchase the car, everything was handled quickly and smoothly. The car was washed and ready for me when I arrived. If I ever buy another car, I will definitely buy from AC. (I'm not sure I will ever buy another car, though, because I absolutely LOVE my Mustang!!) :)

Great place to purchase a pre owned car

I came in on Sunday because a buddy of mine mentioned auto collection of Murfreesboro when I was talking about purchasing a preowned vehicle The only thing I knew when I arrived is that I was looking for a four-wheel-drive truck When I got there they had a variety of selections with many features I test drove about four of them and finally made a decision The company provide a car faxes for all of the vehicles in all of them were great Carfax reports I ended up purchasing a 2013 Dodge Ram. After the purchase we had a issue with the tire a few days later but they were very helpful and replacing it with no repercussions Hans and the other employees there at the dealership have done a great job and I will be returning to them in the future for all of my purchases

Amazing experience - a no pressure no hassle

When I first arrived to the lot I was greeted by a very friendly sales person. I wasn't sure what I wanted to purchase so they should be around a lot and I was very surprised that their prices were pretty much unbeatable. I had been looking for cars for a week and one of my friends recommended them to me so that's why I made the drive from Nashville to Murphreesboro This was an exceptional car buying experience I felt no pressure at any point in the customer service was incredible I wasn't sure what bank would approve me but they found everything perfect for myself and my husband They got the right banks and everything on hand for most people to get financed. I promise if you buy a car they are you will find quickly that there is no one else better especially in the state of Tennessee. Good deal, great car & pleasant purchase process..

I usually shop for cars using the internet and appreciate the "higher" level of treatment by the sale origanization. I know what I'm looking for....I understand the pricing...I tolerate the negotiating process...but most of all, I don't want to be bounced around and T-O'd to an obnoxious manger who tries to push me in a direction I will never go. Your internet and sales team treated me professionally and fairly; however, it was still a tough negotiation process!

Very pleasant experience

I was blown away at how painless this entire process was. Unfortunately I had some bad luck with my old vehicle so I was needing to find something better in quality and find it quickly. I was driving by Auto Collection when I saw a very nice looking Jeep Grand Cherokee. I pulled in and began looking at it. One of the members of Auto Collection (I didn't get their name unfortunately) approached me and asked if they could help with anything. I kindly replied that I was just looking at this time. He let me know that he was there if I needed anything, then left me be. Didn't hover around and pester me with questions, very much no pressure at all. The next day I went by to test drive the vehicle. Again, a super easy relaxed process. They let me test drive for about 2 hours, so I was able to get a good feel for the vehicle. I returned and immediately put down a deposit so that the vehicle could be saved for me. I had one request before I made a purchase and that was they let me take the vehicle to a local Mechanic to have it looked over to ensure no major problems were hiding. They were very encouraging of me to do that and had zero problems with my request. They had the vehicle ready for me bright and early at 7am the next week so I could take it and get it looked at. The mechanic identified a few minor problems (power steering hose needing to be replaced soon, transmission line needing to be replaced soon, and bad sway bar links) and quoted it all out for me to take back to the dealer. I showed the papers to Hans, and right away he said they would repair the sway bar links for me at no charge, which was the most expensive repair of the few problems. With that in mind, I went ahead with the purchase of the vehicle, and it was quick and easy. I came back the next day and their mechanic fixed the sway bar links, and now I don't have to worry about that. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and my overall experience with Auto Collection. I have definitely told people good things about this dealer and will point them in the right direction when they have vehicle needs. Thanks Hans, and everyone else at Auto Collection for such a pleasurable experience.

I LOVE MY MUSTANG!

This it the best and easiest car lot to work with! I traded my 2010 Altima in and they gave me a great price for it. I traded for a 2014 grabber blue mustang!! GORGEOUS car!!! My dream car!!! Second was with the customer service from Hans and Fred.....let me tell you just awesome treatment was given especially since I wasn't able to get to the dealership until right before closing time. They stayed past normal hours to help get into a car. I purchased a 2012 Nissan Maxima and it was a very pleasurable experience. The dealership was orderly and they where well prepared with documentation in order to expedite the sale in a quick fashion. Many thanks to Fred, Hans, and Heather. After a frustrating experience at another dealer in Murfreesboro I found a car of interest located at Auto Collection of Murfreesboro, TN. I was not exited about going through the process of being mistreated/disrespected again. The 1st person I met was Fred, he was so easy going and friendly that I wondered if I was even at a car dealership. He listened to my wife and I, allowed us to drive the cars on our own. I had financing from my credit union but the car we ended up really wanting was a little more, so at "my" request he ran another check that was way simpler and only took around 10 minutes. The lender beat the rate by a full point and Fred dropped the price a little to help close the deal. We now have a beautiful 2012 VW Jetta GLI Autobahn, 27k miles, that still smells new and has factory warranty left!!! Heather helped with the paperwork; she is very friendly and super professional. These are real people treating their customers like real people. Going to see them is a must! (BTW: Honestly, I never write reviews)

Auto Collection of Murfreesboro is THE MOST WONDERFUL dealership I have EVER been to! I have been to a few in my 45 years and all but 2 were what everyone one thinks of car dealerships. Salesman trying to put you into something you can't afford, vehicles that aren't worth near what the price is, shady mechanic work E.T.C. HOWEVER Auto Collection of Murfreesboro is FAR beyond what the average car dealership is. They have really nice used vehicles that are completely checked out, come with the car fax, are extremely clean and are as good a used vehicle you will be able to find. There is NO SALES PRESSURE!!!! They do NOT try to get you into a car you can't afford. You see something you like, they will work with you and help you get it. It's that simple and exactly what car buying should be! I have been wanting a 2nd generation Dodge Durango for years. One with a V-8 and 4 wheel drive. Pretty simple right? Well, up until Monday (9-22-2014) everything I found was either too many miles for the price, no car fax, very limited history of the vehicle, vehicle in very bad shape on and on. Not only did I find a 2005 with 4 wheel drive and V-8 but it's an SLT with numerous added options! Heated leather seats, 6 cd changer with premium Infinity sound system, Tow/Haul package, DVD player w/remote, Remote entry, Alarm, Navigation system, the list goes on. A LOT OF VEHICLE for the money! That is the other thing. It was all for a price almost 1000.00 bucks UNDER Kelly Blue Book! They also gave me a GREAT price for my trade in. More than I was going to ask for! Simply an amazing dealership! I had a problem with the CD player. It wouldn't play them. I brought it back, they REPLACED IT FREE with the TOP OF THE LINE model for the Dodge Durango! It has all the features listed above PLUS an MP3 jack!!!! SO I have MANY music options to choose from! :) AND NO QUESTIONS ASKED, NO HESITATION,. And they were under no obligation to fix as I bought the vehicle as is BUT THEY FIXED IT ANYWAY!!!!! Simply the BEST experience I have had EVER with a car dealership!!!! WONDERFUL WONDERFUL WONDERFUL!!!!

I am VERY happy to say that the people at Auto Collection of Murfreesboro were a pleasure to buy a car from! No hassle, no pressure to buy, absolutely FLAWLESS in my experience. I they gave me a GREAT price for my trade in and found financing that was reasonable. I also got a vehicle that I have been wanting for years at a price I could afford. I had been looking for a 2nd generation Dodge Durango with 4 wheel drive and a V-8 for quite some time. Everywhere I looked they were either too expensive, didn't have an accurate history of the vehicle or couldn't ( or wouldn't) show me what has been fixed or not fixed. Auto Collection of Murfreesboro showed me everything I wanted to see and they did it with a smile. Honesty is almost unheard of in the used car business. Auto Collection of Murfreesboro is changing that. The Durango I bought from them not only had 4 wheel drive and a V-8 but was an SLT model which means this one had Leather heated seats, leather interior, DVD player, 6 CD car stereo with AM/FM, Premium sound system (Infinity) and it was CLEAN!!!! Interior was in exceptional shape! Could not be happier!

I highly recommend Auto Collection of Murfreesboro to anyone in the market for a good, quality used vehicle. My experience in purchasing a Nissan Murano from this dealer was nothing but positive. From my first visit to the lot, I was treated with courtesy and a no pressure attitude by the staff. Although I dealt primarily with Hans, all of the staff at Auto Collection were friendly and helpful. Hans made a special effort to immediately respond to my email inquiries about the vehicle in which I was interested. Plus, the website had all of the details about the vehicle, numerous photos and a car fax check, making it easy to research the vehicle prior to purchase. Additionally, the website had an on-line financing application, making it convenient and easy to apply for a loan. Once I decided to purchase the vehicle, Hans offered a fair price for my trade-in and helped me secure financing with an interest rate lower than advertised by area banks and credit unions. He and the staff stayed late on a Friday evening so that I could complete the purchase. Hans even had the mechanic fix a minor problem after the sale. The 2009 Nissan I purchased was very clean and in fantastic condition. In fact, Ive had numerous people ask me if it is a brand, new vehicle, not realizing it is five years old. If you stop by the lot, youll find the same is true for other vehicles at Auto Collection of Murfreesboro. Hans and the folks at ACM made what can often be a terrible experience for most into a pleasure. I feel confident that I have purchased a good, quality vehicle at a very fair price that is based upon researching fair market price and blue book values during my search for the Murano. Great experience with my Toyota Camry

Everyone at Auto Collection of Murfreesboro was courtious and professional. Mine was a very low pressure enjoyable experience. Both brothers are not only very good at what they do, it's hard to work with them and NOT feel like you just gained good friends. I live in Gallatin and there are a LOT of dealers between here and Murfreesboro. However, when I need a car again, they'll be the first ones I call!

They stayed open late for me to test drive the car, then met me in Nashville (saving me the drive to Murfreesboro) to finalize the paperwork. Don't let the location from across the street of an unsavory car lot put you off this place. The main person my Fiance and I dealt with was named Fred. Fred was a genuinely nice guy and went out of his way to make me feel safe and un-annoyed while purchasing my Escape. Letting me test drive it by myself, coming out with an umbrella when an rain storm slammed us out of nowhere keeping me dry and soaking himself in the process. After three visits and finally settling on decision, Fred made sure that the car was freshly detailed inside and washed and waxed on the outside. The initial buying process was smoother than I thought it would be because the owner of the lot himself sat down with me and helped with any complications I was having with the purchase. Hans and his brother, Fred, were absolutely amazing! We had been looking for a 2012+ Camry w/<35k miles for a few weeks. We were in Franklin looking at yet another vehicle when I refreshed my search with cars.com... and what appears? A 2012 Camry SE with 32k miles, priced about $2,000 under its competition. I called them right away and told him we were 45 minutes away from the dealership. Hans stayed open past business hours to allow us to look at (and then purchase) the car. The paperwork process was painless and quick; the bank he uses gave us an even better rate than our credit union, almost 1.5% lower! Also, we purchased a SUV (from another dealer) a few days before that. Fred was kind enough to remove the gigantic website logo off my back window for me while my husband cleaned out his vehicle he'd traded for the Camry. Honesty, Courtesy and NO pressure

At age 77 I remember the good old days when dealers treated you like a real person. They came out of their office, shook your hand, introduced themselves and made you feel welcome. The people at Auto Collection in Murfreesboro did all of those things. From my first email, the owner, Hans, replied to my inquiries in less than 15 minutes. After exchanging 5 more emails and getting 42 pictures of the vehicle I was just overwhelmed by the customer service. Unlike most dealers I tried to work with over the internet, they respond with complete answers to questions. Never any of those worthless replies with the comment, "we can discuss that when you come in". I read all the other posts on this website and decided these people were the real deal. I drove the 55 miles from home and took the vehicle for a test drive. It was flawless and exactly as described in the ad. 17,000 miles, never smoked in, pefect inside and out. The transaction was perfect from start to finish. I got a great price, unbelieveable financing (better than any of the 4 new car dealers could offer me). I think you will find dealing with Hans, his twin brother Freddy and Heather an experience that will have you sending your frineds to Auto Collection of Murfreesboro!!!! The real plus here is if you come back next week or next year you will be dealing with the same people. Best place to buy a car

I stop in to look at a car they had on the lot, it was a stick and I can not drive a stick. I told them what I was looking for and he took down all my info. A few weeks later I got a call that they had gotten a black Mustang that fit what I wanted. I went and looked at it and it was just what I had asked for I couldn't have pick it out any better.I bought the car, the process was so simple.when we did the paper work we mention that there was a taping nose when we first turned the heat on, just wanted his input on what it was. Two weeks later brought the car back so they could have the emsission testing done and when we picked it back up he said that they had fix the problem with the heat and even washed the car for me. I can not say enough good things about this dealership. If you want to buy a car from an honest person that stands behind the cars they sell then you should go here. I was not pressured in to buying anything at all.I am total happy with them and will only be buying form this lot

Out of State Buyer, Helpful Dealership

I had been looking for a specific BMW E46 Wagon, and found the perfect candidate at Auto Collection of Murfreesboro. I quickly emailed/called to inquire about the car, asking about any rust, vehicle history etc. - The typical used car questions. I spoke with Hans (Presumably the owner) and he was extremely timely with his very helpful responses. I asked for pictures of the underbody of the car, wheel wells etc.. Within a few days he was able to provide me everything I had asked for. I also sent a friend ahead to inspect/test drive the car before my 5+ hour drive, and Hans put his mechanic to work on a funny noise that presented during the initial test drive. Hans assured me that many parts had been replaced to get the car into tip-top shape. I placed a deposit on the car, and went down to pick it up on a Saturday early afternoon - I was greeted on the lot with smiling faces and the keys to the wagon to test drive/inspect. The car was exactly as described.. very clean, and almost everything seemed to function as anticipated (to the level that can be expected for a used car with 135k miles on it). We completed the sale quickly and without a hitch, and after the check cleared I had a copy of the title in hand within 48 hour after. I only had one? issue with Auto Collection during this experience - Within 10 miles of driving the car off of the lot after we purchased the vehicle, the service engine soon light popped on - I wasn't immediately alarmed, but slightly disappointed. The car survived the trip home with no issues. After digging into the SES light, I am going to chalk this up to a faulty/worn/old gas cap. Very simple and easy to replace, however it's taken me a few weeks to determine this - Hans specifically mentioned the fuel cap as being replaced with a new item prior to purchasing the car, so now this makes me wonder.. what else that was replaced with "new" isn't actually new? (BMW changed the design/color of the gas cap due to excessive failures on their old models, so it's extremely easy to tell new/old apart). The clips on the front kidney grills were also in poor shape if they were still present - At the time of the test drive, I noticed that the kidney grills had been glued back into the front hood (glued to the painted surfaces!).. Chalked this one up to the previous owners' shoestring budget.. I'm starting to wonder about these as they've already fallen out again after less than 500 miles and 3 open/close cycles of the hood.. Were these "replaced with new" as well? I actually spoke with Hans regarding the SES light immediately upon reaching home, and he sent me a small refund along with the title to offset costs for repairs - This was a great good faith effort to right the wrong.. Overall, Auto Collection, Hans and his team were great to deal with - The communication and process was painless and quick, he answered all of my questions and made it a trip worth taking. Fair warning, their lot is packed so you may find yourself with a challenge of finding a place to park when you arrive..

Buyer Beware!!!

This company was most helpful and responsive in selling me a 2010 Nissan Frontier with a bad engine! I feel like an idiot as the check engine light came on as I was driving home. The customer service before the sale and after the sale are night and day! My experience is like dealing with wolves in sheeps clothing. Buyer Beware & Shop Elsewhere. I will be seeking resolution of this issue through other means as the offer to repurchase the vehicle was $$6,000 less than I paid for it. They could just resell it again to another unsuspecting soul! This is the WORST Auto purchasing experience I have ever had!

These guys have taken a dilapidated former used car facility and turned it into a very upscale operation. The facility and inventory are both first rate. When I purchased a used Mercedes 560SL there was a problem with the top. They replaced the top and saw that it operated correctly. In sum,. they say what they will do and then go the last mile to do it. I would recommend anyone to purchase from Auto Collection where integrity is top notch.

I was in the market for a nice Cadillac DTS and working out of state. Found one on their website one night and emailed them to contact me. 0700 the next morning Hans emailed and called. I sent Auto Collection an email on their website to find the availability of the 2010 Dodge Avenger we had noticed on their site earlier in the month. TWO MINUTES LATER, I received their call. They were willing to wait for us that evening to make the 40-minute drive even though it was almost 7p.m. when we got there. We loved the car, and Hans and Fred were easy-going, down-to-earth guys who made the buying process a pleasure. There were a couple of issues that needed to be resolved with the car, but they were more than willing to take care of those. In fact, I am writing this in their comfortable, clean waiting room using THEIR WiFi to which they helped me connect while I wait for my car's AC to be fixed.
