I made it clear on the that I wanted to turn in my lease and buy a new car. I also tell him about recent damage to the car and ask how the end of lease process works. Richard Martinez pushes hard for me to come in even though I tell him it's an hour drive. I ask him to talk to his leading expert and he gives the impression that he did. We even agree to a price on the car. I get there, he makes me wait 20 mins, and he says we need to schedule a separate inspection and I will be billed. I tell him we could have had this conversation on the phone. Instead of apologizing, he shrugs his shoulders. I say thanks for wasting 2.5 hours of my time and walk out.

I took my 2016 for explorer in for service because the service engine light came on. I ended up dropping the vehicle off so they could diganose the problem . Before the end of the day she was calling me back letting me know the exact problems with my vehicle. My service writer was Dusty Odom and she was sensational. She explained the problem and what options were available to solve my issues, also she checked and made sure i approved the repairs before the mechanics worked on the vehicle. Last but not least her attitude was very pleasant and that's very important to me as a customer. I would definitely refer a friend or family to her and the dealership because of my positive experience I encountered

The exceptional customer service I received at the Service Department, by the Service Manager, Curtis, and my Service Advisor, David, was beyond my expectations. The shuttle was stuck in traffic and when the the Sales Manager heard I was upset he personally drove me to work in the other shuttle. He wasn't aware at the time but I'm a nursing mom and my schedule is pretty rigid, his stepping in to get me to my office on time meant more to me than just getting to work, and was truly above and beyond. The Service Advisor called later that day and offered a loaner vehicle since they hadn't yet been able to diagnose my Lincoln, when I explained that I would just have to bring it back in, due to the car seat installed in my car, he said he would see what he could do. He called back within 2 hours and said he was able to diagnose the issue and fix my heater, everything was ready. Curtis and David provided outstanding customer service and ensured that I will certainly return to Apple Ford - thank you!

I know I was ready for a new car. I just wasn't sure which one. Luckily, I wound up with Mike B. He is an extremely bright young man who knows cars and loves helping people find the right car for themselves. I can sometimes be critical or disappointed when I'm plopping down money. Not this time. I didn't feel rushed, I didn't feel talked down to. I felt taken care of by a gentle man who loves what he is doing. And, I love my new car.

I've been meaning to write this review for several months. Several months ago, after a routine oil change, I had "fluid" leaking from my SUV and had to have it towed back to Apple Ford the same day. Not something you are ever really happy about happening.BUT Mr. Curtis Ford came to the rescue. Turns out my radiator needed replacing. He worked with me and we got the situation resolved and the SUV was back on the road the next day. Mr. Curtis Ford showed exceptional customer service and really helped me get this worked out. While spending the weekend in Western MD, my 8 month old Ford Edge broke down on me. I located and call the nearest Ford Dealership (Schaeffer) to tell them what had happened and what icons came on the dash when my vehicle lost power. At 4:00 p.m., no one answered the phone at that dealership. So, I called home to Apple Ford and spoke to David, explained to him what had happened and the situation I was in (Saturday evening, out of town, new vehicle broke down, nearest dealership closed already) and then asked if he thought it would be okay to drive it home (approximately 250 miles). David very sincerely told me no, that he would not be comfortable with telling me to do that and to please just wait it out until Monday to bring it to Schaeffer Ford. He said he would feel better if they looked at it first, ran diagnostics and take the appropriate action before I drove it that long of a distance. So, I took his advice and waited until Monday. THANK YOU DAVID!Monday morning, called Schaeffer Ford told them that I needed to bring my new Edge in for service and explained why. The Service Advisor that I spoke too was rude, arrogant, nasty and told me Schaeffer Ford Service Advisor: "Yeah, bring it in. I might have time to get to it in a few days"Me: " Ahhhh, a 'few'days?"Schaeffer Ford Service Advisor: "Yep, that's what I said"Me: "Ahhh, okay well I have to get home today. Do you have a loaner/rental for me?"Schaeffer Ford Service Advisor: "Ford ain't obligated to give you a loaner"Me: "Ahhh, this is a 'new' vehicle and it's still under warranty, especially since I bought the 100,000 mile/10 year extended warranty. Yes, I do believe Ford 'is' obligated to give me a loaner. Schaeffer Ford Service Advisor: "Nope, you're wrong"Me: "Okay, I think I'll check into that a little further. And in the meantime, I'll bring my vehicle down to you (reluctantly at this point)"I then called back to Apple Ford and spoke to Curtis. Explained (again) to him what had happened and how I had been treated. Curtis was disturbed and told me to take my vehicle down there, use my authoritative voice and to tell this rude dude exactly what I want him to do "Run the diagnostics, read the codes, then replace the throttle body (whatever that is - lol). And if he gets nasty with you again, call me back and I'll speak to him" THANK YOU CURTIS!Following that phone call, I called the group that handles warranties/extended warranties. They (Rudy) confirmed that I 'was' entitled to a loaner/rental and that Schaeffer Ford was absolutely wrong in telling me different. Again, Rudy told me exactly what to say and do and that if I had any further issues to please call him back and let him know. THANK YOU RUDY!Brought my vehicle to Schaeffer Ford and they did eventually fix it (had to replace the throttle body - fancy that - lol). While there, I told them that I had made a few more calls and confirmed that Ford 'will' provide me with a loaner/rental if they were going to have my vehicle for more than 1 day! THANK YOU AGAIN RUDY! The looked a bit surprised that I told them that and then responded by saying "Well, let's cross that bridge when we get to it." Nope, let's address it right now because I need to get home today ... either in 'my' vehicle or 'your' loaner. Schaeffer Ford ended up fixing 'my' vehicle that day and I made it home that night.To sum this all up, THANK YOU APPLE FORD SERVICE! YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!! And Schaeffer Ford - YOUR SERVICE ADVISORS need some SERIOUS training in customer service, attitude adjustments, behaviors and manners! GOOD LUCK WITH TRYING TO MAKE THAT HAPPEN ... Other notes: They did not use paper floor mats or plastic protection on the seats. Did not bring the vehicle to me when I went to pick it up. Handed me the keys and said here ya go. Had to go out and search for it. Found it 'way' at the back of the building.

To start off I visited this dealership because of a 2009 Ford Escape that I saw online. It was in my price range and everything looked good about it. I decided to come in maybe a week later, the whole time the salesman was emailing and calling me (which I did not mind). I brough time my mother with me just so we could check this out together. We had to go find Michael ( the salesman ), then he proceeded to show us the car. After a short test drive we starated the paperwork just to see what we could do. Now they asked us multiple times what my range was and I let them know. The first car didn't work out due to high mileage and my credit score, so we went to a 2012 Ford Escape. We ran the paperwork again and we were able to get it. We were not told the payments for another 45 minutes and had to wait for Edgar to meet with us. My first impression of Edgar was he looked very unprofessional. He was very quiet, did not explain much to us. He addressed my mother as "her" instead of Mrs Walker. The payments they came up with were almost double what I wanted. The only way I could have get my payment down was not to have a warranty and no gap coverage. So we decided we needed to figure out what I could afford, so we left. Upon leaving, we saw Michael he gave my keys back to my vehicle and that was it. We didn't get a goodbye, hope you decide and come back.... nothing! 5 minutes after leaving I get a phone call from the sales manager telling me to come back we will get the price down. I told him I needed a few hours because of prior engagements. In our conversation with the sales manager we find out that we did not need another warranty because of the car being a certified used car. SO WHY WERE THEY TRYING TO GET ME TO PURCHASE ANOTHER WARRANTY? Anyways, when we finally got back to the dealership we had to wait another 30-45 minutes for Edgar to finish up with another customer. We go into his office, and he just rolls through the paperwork addressing my mother still as "her" and "she". We finally sign everything and go back to Michael to get into my new Escape. The car was filthy on the inside after they told us it was being detailed. So Michael told us if we stop by he'll get it detailed in a later date. We finally drive off. I go home and pick up my kids and we take a drive. While we were driving it started to rain REALLY hard soooo I try to turn the windshield wipers on and they DON'T WORK. HOW CAN YOU SELL A CAR WITHOUT WORKING WINDSHIELD WIPERS? I almost got into an accident with my children in this car because of this! I had to pull over and tighten up the nuts for the wipers. If I did not know what to do then I would have been stuck on the side of the road until it stopped raining. To sum it up, the people are kind of cold... they seem to just go through the process, each doing their part but nothing more. Not engaging in conversation, just doing what they have to. I work in the customer service field and I know how to treat your customer and this is not it.

I bought a "Certified" 2013 Ford Focus for my 16-year son. I decided to buy from Apple Ford since the car was "Certified" and should be a safe and reliable car for my son to drive. I bought it on May 31, 2016, and less than two weeks we had an issue with the Transmission. We took it in and they said all the had to do is to reprogram their system. We took it home and the next day had the same issues. When I bought the car, the sales guy told me that all the recalls were taken care of. Apparently, that was a lie, since the service guy said that the recall on the "Clutch" needed to be replaced (2nd time taking in the car). Then AC went out, so we had to take that back to Apple Ford. They said they fixed it and tried to make us pay a "Certified" fee of $100 for the AC. We did not think we should pay for this fee and wanted to speak with an Manager. The Manager did waive the fee after he rolled his eyes at my husband. We had the car for less than a month and they are asking us to pay for this certified car (UNBELIEVABLE)! The AC went out again. We dropped it off on a Saturday night July 9th (today is July 15th) and still it is not done. We have been calling since Monday to see what is happening but the service center has a hard time picking up the phone. Now we are wait for an approval by Apple Ford to fix it. Common sense would say that the service department would ask for an approval right away. Now we have to wait for another 48 hours to get an approval for them to fix it. This is getting out of control. I wonder if they will ask us to pay for this service too? ALL I WANT IS TO GET RID OF THIS NIGHTMARE "CERTIFIED" CAR!!!!!!


Overwhelming lack of professional courteous for the customer

My experience with this company has be horrible, the level of professional courteous for the customer is the worst Ive ever experience. I brought my car in for diagnostic service on Wednesday, June 29th at 7:00am, I called the service tech Kevin Ford at 2:00pm and my car had not been touched. I inquired with Kevin why was I advised that I had and appointment at 7:00am for my car to not be even looked at by 2:00pm. Kevin stated that the tech was unable to get to it, he then stated I now have a tech available I will give you a call back. Kevin did call me back within a couple of hours to advise me that the issues my car was having stemmed from the repairs done from an accident that were not completed or completed incorrectly. Kevin advised me to take it back to the auto body that completed the repairs, I picked up my car that evening returning it to Columbia Auto Body. Columbia Auto Body worked on my car and could not find how their repair or lack thereof was causing the issues with my car, the adjustor from my accident was contacted and requested a full diagnostic be completed by Ford technician. Columbia Auto Body brought my car back to Apple Ford the morning of Friday, July 1st, I was to the understanding that because this was a holiday weekend that my car would probably not get looked at until the beginning of the following week. I went and obtained a rental car for a week in which is out of my pocket until diagnostic results determines the issues are related to the accident, my insurance company or Columbia Auto Body will not cover the cost. I got the rental foreseeing the issues to be found and my car repair would only take a week. Myself, the insurance adjustor, and the manager of Columbia Auto Body have continuously contact the service department and was told repeatedly that my car was a complicated issues and the tech was still working on my car. Wednesday, July 6th I left Kevin Ford a message to return my call with no call back, I called again Thursday, July 7th spoke with Kevin and he advised me that my car HAD NOT BEEN TOUCHED by the tech because he had been working on another car. Thursday, July 8th the insurance adjustor, and the manager of Columbia Auto Body was advised that my car would get worked on that evening or first in the morning of Friday, July 8th. It is now Friday, July 8th and my car still has not been touched by a tech, I spoke with the service manager Curtis Ford who gave me an entire different story from what we had been advised all week, he also advised me that the tech MIGHT be able to get to my car today but if not MAYBE Monday!!!!!! My issues with this entire situation is once again the overwhelming lack of professional courteous for the customer, simple honest communication could had alleviated all of this. If I had been advised accurately that my car was not being worked on I would have taken my car to another Ford Service dealership, because of the extreme dishonest communication I will now have to go into another week paying out of pocket for a rental costing me $336 plus the holding of an additional $200. I will never bring my car to Apple Ford ever again, I will be sure to utilize verbal and social media to make everyone aware of the horrible business practices.

After months of searching for a used truck and dealing with many terrible car dealers playing games I found a truck at Apple ford I liked. It was the best price/mileage truck I looked at in my months of searching. Apple Ford used cars wanted to make a sale. They seemed to actually care, unlike countless other dealers in the Baltimore area. They lowered their price and bumped up my trade to make the deal work and I left happy with my truck. Held strong on my payment and after only a little back and forth they were able to get it for me. Other dealers played games for hours and could have cared less if I walked out, which I did many times. Other car dealers should take note from Apple Ford.

Buyer be very aware!!! Do not use the service or quick lane service at Apple Ford. I took my 2010 Ford Escape for an apparent Power Steering flush the Quick Lane department told me the truck needed back in February 2014. I was charged $79 for the service. Today My Husband took it again for the same thing to a different shop thinking it was time for such maintenance service. He found out the truck doesn't need the steering flush because the power steering system is electronic and does not have a reservoir. What pissed me off the most is that they probably thought they could take advantage of me because as a woman I don't know much about cars. I wonder how many people they have stolen money from by charging for services the cars don't need. What they did to me is fraud and I will be contacting the BBB and FTC to report this issue

I inquired about a vehicle they had posted on the on the internet site for sale. I told them my best offer and was instructed to come in to the dealership as we were close and it was the end of the month. I arrive, was told to ask for the sales manager. He came by shook my hand and left. Another salesman who I had never corresponded with starts showing me the vehicle. The entire time, I am trying to figure out what's going on. I finally inquire about the situation, and the salesman informs me he will be selling the vehicle and is willing to make me an offer. He quotes me more than the asking price listed on the internet, this ticks me off. My wife drove an hour to get to the dealership so we could pay cash and they want to play games. I said no, I told you my bottom dollar, but I will come up 500 and that is it. He gets up, we wait 10 more minutes, he comes back with another piece of paper still not even close to my offer. I get up tell the salesman I am not playing games and leave. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND OR PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP.

Brought my 2015 Mustang GT for transmission issue. After making an appointment with Kevin from the service team, who was really nice and helpful, they started the process of figuring out what's wrong with my transmission. A week in, and after a master technician (Devin) looked at my car, he tried to figure out what's wrong with it. He offered to contact me personally and let me know the whole process from start to finish to bring my car back to street-ready. He made sure that I would be a top priority in the most professional way I've seen. He brought me back on the road as fast as he could. I'm really happy to know that there's such a great dealership with such a good reputation in my area. Thanks!

Unfortunately I have had some issues with it but I have had the pleasure of meeting Les, Service Consultant, and Curtis, Service Manager. I will start with saying that every time I have an emergency, Les is extremely quick in fitting me in which makes me feel like I'm important to him. Les is also extremely fast with getting my car diagnosed and contacting me after dropping my car off. Curtis is also very knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile for his customers. I enjoyed sitting in his office just to chat. I have never been treated so well by a dealership and I will never stray from Apple Ford service. Thank you guys for making sure my car is 100% corrected and going out of your way to help me every time.

I have a 2013 Ford Fusion Titanium which I absolutely adore. ( I love this car). Well I nearly went to pieces when the car would not start. I just didn't know what to do. This was my 5th or 6th time taking my 2013 Ford Focus in to the dealership, due to experiencing manufacturing malfunctions. Though I am not pleased with all the problems I have had with this car, the customer service provided by Curtis Ford was so phenomenal that I had to say something. I was extremely upset and almost at the brink of tears when I came in, with my 16 month old. He noticed how distressed I was and took me aside personally to put me at ease. I truly appreciate him taking out the time to listen to my concerns, and working with me to find a solution. In a difficult situation especially one that he was not responsible for, it is hard to take ownership. But that is exactly what he did. I spoke Chip Doetsch about a Mustang GT Premium, and the options I was looking for. I made an appointment and met with him on March 11th. He had Jeff Erlich assist me. Jeff showed me several Mustangs that met my requirements. I saw a indigo silver GT Premium. After a road test, he put together a deal. Chip came over, to see how things were going several times. I got a great deal, and signed the papers. The whole process was efficient and with no high pressure tactic. Jeff did an outstanding job and was very knowledgable. I picked my vehicle up that Monday. It was clean and ready to go. The sync specialist was very proficient. I would highly recommend Apple Ford, Jeff Erlich and Chip Doetsch.

I looked at a pickup truck there that I liked. I was turned down for a loan because the vehicle had too many miles and my credit was not good enough even with a co-signer to get it. So I left. I came back after getting some cash together to put down and the sales man didn't just turn me down, he told me "there was no way I was buying this truck" and then he gently escorted me out! I went to another dealer that not only treated me very well, but found me a newer truck with less miles and found me a loan I could live with. Should be it, but I got a call from the Apple ford sales man asking if I had found a better co-signer. Free oil changes and car washes can't make up for how I was treated. I won't go back and don't recommend them to anyone.

Did a lot of recearch and decided to pick a 2016 Ford Escape. Decided to buy it from Apple because Wegmans is across the street and I can get lost there for a couple of hours while my vehicle is being taken care of in the future. So at about 930 am Dec 18 2016 I came inn the dealership. It took a while to be paired up with a sailesman. He was new and I knew way more about a car than him. I wanted to test drive 1.6 l and 2l engine types and I have settled for a 2 liter engine. Took forever to get things done and I could not politely say that I would like another sales person. I started to get a head ache. The price was not great, i did get leather and moon roof etc, but still I was tired and did not try to fight for another 500 to a 1000 dollars that I could have probably knocked off. Car is great and we shall see how the service is once I will bring it to the first oil change, but it took 5.5 hrs to walk out the door and that with knowing what I want to buy

Didn't get the warranty repair as I was expecting, warranty claim was rejected by Ford. Apparently I hit something with my car or maybe something hit my car to cause the damage . It was very nice for Ford to point this out and to do a proper forensic job on this claim. I was told that Ford engineers had to step in and take a look at some pictures of the damage to make their educated recommendation. Happy to have gone through the entire Ford experience.

I bought my Ford in Winston-Salem, NC, but now live and work in the Baltimore area. I had a factory recall service performed at the W-S dealership and they made a mistake that did not surface until after I drove back to Baltimore a few days later. I took my car to Apple Ford Lincoln expecting to get a lot of double-talk and excuses about how they could not fix a problem another dealership caused, but I didn't! Without an appointment, I was lucky they had a no-show, they had my car on a lift and fixed by the time I finished my free cup of coffee. Best part...NO CHARGE! They said they did not need to replace parts and the time was not undue. They could have turned an unfortunate situation into a "Who'is going to pay for this" nightmare, but they took the high road and helped a fellow dealership far away. Great service...Great Team! Thank you Steve and Curtis...I'll be back.

I originally went to the dealership in Gaithersburg because that's where I purchased my ford escape but I won't think twice about going back to them now that I have found apple ford! Their parts and service department had me in and out in minutes and were so helpful! I'm not too familiar with cars but Paul from the parts department was so helpful and nice and got me the exact part I needed and for a resonable price. Curtis ford in the service department had me in and out in no time and was awesome! You guys have a top notch team! Last week, after both my coolant and tire indicators came on while I was at a meeting in Annapolis, I drove to the Columbia Apple Ford where I purchased my car. I informed two service people of my problem. The first individual told me he would top off my coolant. I spoke with service person at quick Lane's and specifically ask him to check out the coolant. After about a 30 minute wait, I was informed that my car, a 2013 Ford escape, needed $1100 worth of new tires because the car is an all wheel drive. When I asked about the coolest issue I was told that it was taken care of. Yesterday, the coolant light came on again and immediately indicated that I should pull over and stop. The indicator quickly moved from yellow to red. I moved to the side of the road and called AAA. I also called the Ford dealership. My car had to be towed to Apple Ford in Columbia, Md. My warranty which is 100,000 miles or seven years covered a rental car. it took Apple Ford more than 36 hours to discover the problem: a faulty valve for which I had to pay $100. I would not be so unhappy if this was my first negative experience at Apple Ford. I purchased a brand new Mustang which had problems that were resolved only after I was stranded in Charles County, Maryland with my grandson in the car. It took Ford two weeks to figure out the problem and did not want to pay for rental costs. I am a 65 year old woman who lives alone and I only have one car. Although the oil changes and car washes ore nice, I want to know that the people in the service department care about my personal safety and are not merely focused on how to shut my mouth and save money for the company. I would not in good conscious recommend this dealership due to the negative experiences I have had with the service department. I have met the owner and do not believe he is aware of this disfunction.

Day...after the night.When I first wrote this review, I was very disappointed in my experience in approaching Apple Ford to hear my issues and perhaps advocate for a satisfactory result that would confirm the trust in my local dealership. Luckily Apple did remain engaged...and I'm happy to say, after more involvement did more than satisfactorily resolve my issues. I am happy...and so being a "fair" minded (if not insistent) customer, I am amending my review to say as much. I am happy. I have not deleted my previous review, just to let you know the proverbial "night & day" difference in Apple's response from before, and now. I recant my pledge to avoid Apple, & I look forward to visiting and relying on Apple, my local dealership in the future.Night & confusion...First I called to discuss an issue about your affiliate bodyshop Tristate Collision (22 Oct) and followed up with an email explaining my problems to Mr. Sheckell who promised to look into the issue and return my email. I waited for five days...no response. One of my complaints about the Tristate experience was the "lack" of response from their shop director. With that said, I had to call again. Mr. Sheckell indicated that he had not seen my email...and admitted that it could have gone to his junk mail, he gets these all the time so he just scanned it and probably deleted it. This was my service at Apple Ford. That's my Apple complaint. As for his inquiry into the issue with Tristate it was more about parroting what I had already been told...I'm screwed, get over it.Look...I've purchased a Ranger truck at Apple before...I have a late model F150 Supercrew Lariat now. I like Fords...had a total of four so far...was thinking about another truck...definitely a Mustang before I died. But I will NEVER EVER give Apple any of my business whether purchase, service or parts again. And as long as I have a breath in my body, and my wits about me I will always advise my family, friends or even the man on the street. Apple Ford is non responsive when they or their affiliates are "arguably" responsible for breaking your car.

Service Advisor's Rick and Dan, along with the tech John, provided service that was above and beyond, and were what every customer should experience especially going through what I went through. My power steering was lost on my 2013 Ford Fusion due to factory recalls when I broke down in Columbia, MD, home of Apple Ford. All work was done on my car in 50 hours real time only dilemma's coming from Ford, the company itself with my data re-programming and it showed me these people really cared for the person more than the car. Felt human and more important even though I did not spend a dollar in this place for my car. First two nights ever spent in Maryland. I want to share this. Rick Poppe fought for two and a half days to get the data programming done and at least get me rental car coverage. Ford did eventually get the rental coverage but God bless, Rick received what he needed to complete my programming before I needed it. Great Job..

I went to the dealership on a humble that day and had the same excellent experience as 3 years ago. Sharmba the salesperson, who I've worked with before, was very helpful, friendly and explained everything clearly. Ultimately, I got the car I wanted at the best possible price without any hassle. Even Bryan in the financing department was super, he was also friendly and patient. Bryan explained all the financial details thoroughly without question. This was a truly customer-centric buying experience. Both Sharmba and Bryan exemplifies great customer service that leave one with a great experience to remember. While on a recent long road trip, we limped into Apple Ford after an alternator failure, with only minutes to spare before the battery would have died completely, killing the engine. Thankfully we were able to drive right into the service lane where we were immediately greeted by the friendly and knowledgeable Service Manager. Obviously this was an unscheduled visit, so they had to have a re-manufactured alternator shipped in from a nearby facility, which took a couple of hours. It took about 4 hours in total from the time we rolled in until we were on the road again, which we thought was good under the circumstances.Apple Ford gets excellent marks for everything except price, but dealership service is always a lot more expensive than it should be. I spent about 4X what I would have spent with my usual RockAuto Do-It-Yourself approach, and about 50-75% more than my local repair shop would have charged in CT. But, no real complaints since they got me going again in short order. And, I guess someone has to pay the overhead to support that gorgeous dealership that is so clean and well maintained that you can practically eat off the floor.

I brought the car in as part of a Ford safety recall. I was most pleased with the service and especially the care and consideration I received from Mandy Smith (service advisor). When the repair was done, in under an hour, Mandy informed me that they had noticed a carbon build up and suggested I have it cleaned which I did. I greatly appreciated being told about a possible future problem before it became a problem as well as having the work done right away. I especially liked Mandy's attitude of "I treat others like I would like to be treated".

We saw a used F250 on their web site. Great truck and reasonably priced. On my way home in the rain my feet got wet. Shawn (used car manager) got right on the problem and made sure the leak was found and fixed. It took a few times but the guys didn't give up until I was happy. Steve and Apple Ford have been fantastic to work with! I just purchased a brand new F-150 from Apple Ford this week. I visited a couple dealers during this process and while none of them were exceptionally pushy (big change from the last time I looked at buying a car,) Steve stood out head and shoulders above all of them. He listened, helped me get exactly what I wanted, and took care of everything quickly. He has taken care of any and every little issue (and I tend to be picky) quickly!Highly recommended! Having a car just 5 months old means that I was not expecting to be in for service just yet, but here I am! Curtis, Les and their team are remarkable. They did not hesitate to get my car in to be checked out immediately, and though it took 2 days for them to get the issues resolved, they quickly put me in another car and communicated with me constantly on the status. They can't help what goes wrong, but they sure do make sure that the customers have as little concern and inconvenience as possible. I was called first thing in the morning, and kept apprised of what was going on throughout the day. When the realized it would need to be there overnight to await parts, they came to get me, had a courtesy car ready for me, and I walked out the door! The layout is impeccably clean, the staff are quick to help, phone calls are immediately answered, and even their shuttle driver (Calvin) was incredibly professional. Not only will I return to the location for future service, but I will be sure to let my friends know just how respectable this service center is. Thank you guys for everything!

Ben Ludwig was my service advisor and he went above and beyond the duty of getting my tires replaced, He took several pictures of the tire and was diligent in contacting Ford for the replacement, He was very professional and took a pro active approach at getting this solved for me. I appreciate all the hard work and effort he put into this. All the service people and mechanics at Apple Ford are wonderful. The paint on the hood of my 2013 Explorer was blistering from underneath along the front edge after just 27 months. While I had 39,000 miles and was out of warranty technically the Service Manager, Mr. Curtis Ford, agreed that this was not normal and sent me for an estimate at Tri State Collision down the road. There I spoke with Janet Barry who explained that this was a problem with the aluminum hood used on this model. The estimate was $1832.64 which included a replacement hood as they were not willing to paint the existing hood. I returned to the service department with the estimate and spoke with Curtis again and he told me that he would contact Ford to see what they would do. The following day I received a call from the service department that Ford was willing to put in $1400.00 towards the repair even though I was technically past the warranty. I scheduled the repair with Tri- State and the work was completed. When I picked up the vehicle not only had Tri-State installed and painted the new hood but actually touched up two chips I had on the front fender at no additional charge. Both Janet and Curtis were excellent to deal with and I really appreciate them going the extra mile for me with Ford. I could not have had these repairs done without their help. I would highly recommend Apple Ford and Tri-State Collision to anyone who asks. I am certainly a customer for life now!

Great dealership! Being an X plan buyer we know what we'll pay for a vehicle-so my focus is on the knowledge, professionalism and customer service qualities of the people who work at a dealership. Apple Ford is the third dealer that I've purchased from in Maryland, and will be the only one I use from this point forward. Jeff Erlich was our salesman and went above and beyond to ensure that we were provided with the necessary information for our purchase and the customer for life program. He followed up after our purchase, and never pushed additional services for us to buy. Will Malloy made sure that we received the best financing deal possible, and had us in and out quickly. Lindsey explained the optional protection plans for the car that we could purchase, and never pushed us to buy a particular option or plan. Since we bought the car in the evening we had to come back for the undercoating and exterior protection, and she made the service appointment for us and explained the loaner program. Bernie came over and welcomed us to the Apple family even before the paperwork was finalized. I will definitely purchase from Apple again and have recommended the dealership to friends.

Traveling from out of town, my 2002 F250 suddenly was very hard to steer and it appeared that my braking capability had been compromised. Luckily, i was 1.3 miles from Apple Ford. I drove into the service department at approximately noon. A couple attendants checked on me and informed me that the diesel mechanic would be coming to talk to me. Mike Ross showed up, very professionally informed me that he had about 8 vehicles in front of me and that he may not be able to look at my truck until the next day or even a day later. I informed him that i was from out of town and that i would need a rental car. He walked me over to the rental car counter where no one was sitting and told me that he would find the person. I also informed Mike that i had to fly to Africa (military duty) on Friday and was hoping that the truck would be finished at that time. In just a short time, Mike informed me that the rental car company had no cars and they were hoping one would come in for redistribution. I asked if there was a mall close and Mike offered to drive me there. I instead decided to go sit in the lounge and wait on hopefully a rental car. In the meantime, Mike had one of his mechanics (who was also very professional and accommodating) look under the hood and discovered that a line had rusted. The mechanic said he could fix it in a couple hours. To my surprise, the mechanic did fix it. I am so thankful to have been treated this way during what i considered an emergency situation. Mike took the time to weigh the circumstances and even though he and his team were backed up with plenty of work to do, Mike and his mechanic worked me in. They should both be commended and praised for this type of behavior. These actions speak volumes on behalf of the Apple Ford business. Thanks again, Mike.

The service department here is great. They are always friendly and go the extra mile. I was just here to get my free 7500 mile service (part of their customer for life program). While I was there I needed a couple extra things: 1) I had lost the cap to my windshield fluid reservoir and 2) I didn't have the key pad code to open my door. Most places I would have expected to get hit with charges and probably the need to make another appointment...but not at Apple Ford. Even though I had already agreed to pay for a new reservoir cap, they found mine trapped in the engine compartment while they were performing the service and didn't try to charge me for a new one. As for the door code, they could have made me pay for an appointment to hook the computer to my car, etc. Nope. One of the really friendly guys there (Dave) offered to just grab a portable computer and get the code. These two things likely saved me a lot of time and money. The car washes are always free (although I recommend asking to have them run it through twice) which is also a nice benefit.

I contacted Apple Ford via the internet Web site for a particular 2014 car listed in inventory. I was mostly concerned about the price guarantee. Gary Ovelgone responded that that vehicle would not be in the price range I needed because I did not qualify for the discounts and rebates advertised. He did however suggest a 2015 model that he promised could be sold to me at the price I could not go over and he stuck to it. It was the best and most pleasant car buy I have ever made. Thanks to all of the Apple Ford people for making the experience as satisfying as could be expected. I plan to make another vehicle purchase in the near future again at Apple Ford.

I saw the suv of my dreams on the Apple website, and made a call. I spoke to Marvin Williams, Internet Sales Associate. He answered all of my questions, so I decided to test drive the vehicle. I went in not expecting to purchase a vehicle, because I wanted to check out a few other deals on Murano's. After the test drive, Mr. Williams was very through, and I felt no undue pressure to purchase. With being a previous Ford customer and all the insentives offered I felt that I was given the best deal possible, so I made my purchase on the spot.I met with Mr. Williams a few days after the purchase of my 2015 Ford Escape Titanium (fully loaded I might add!) to learn about the many features of this suv. He is very patient and through. I would suggest to anyone looking for a vehicle, who's looking for a dealer who is knowledgeable, and make you feel comfortable without undue pressure, this is the guy for you. Everyone we dealt with went out of their way to get us in the vehicle and the price we wanted. Apple did not have the exact vehicle we wanted but found and delivered us the one we wanted within a day. Everything we asked for was taken care of immediately and everyone was friendly and helpful in doing so. The vehicle came from another dealer in the area and had a few cosmetic issues that were attended to immediately. We had dealt with Apple in the past, around 10 years ago, and we had some issues with there service department but can honestly say now that we have been dealing with them again in the past five years and they have rectified all of those issues. I highly recommend this dealer.

Absolutely the worst experience ever . Bought a truck, 60 day later was asked to return it. Because my bank gave them wrong pay off !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then when I didn't want too one of the James's said they would repo it . The difference in pay off was $4500.00 . So I returned the truck and then one month later on car gurus I see the same exact truck for $6000 less . A very greedy and thoughtless dealership. I was given a paper temp tag and told to wait for registration in the mail. Guess the dealership didn't know they couldn't transfer tags from a truck to an SUV !!!!!!!!!!!!!

We walked in and were greeted immediately. We told the salesperson that Apple Ford did not have the exact vehicle that we wanted but preferred to buy from them as they are the closest Ford dealer to us. Everyone went out of their way to assist us. They allowed us to test drive the type of vehicle we wanted and within one day they located the vehicle with the exact options and color we wanted. We walked out within a couple hours with the vehicle, price, and deal that we wanted. As repeat Ford owners, we have been dealing with Apple Fords service department for several years and can honestly say that they have gotten better and better each year. Strange policy on test drives and navigation system

Visited this dealership on 12/13/14 to test-drive a 2015 Ford Fusion SE AWD. The navigation system in this brand-new vehicle was off (in "transportation mode"), and the saleswoman explained that this is the dealership's new policy -- they can turn on navigation (insert the memory card) only after I buy the car. Reasons given were vague -- they don't want to get the driver distracted, etc. Of course, this is absurd, checking out the nav is one of the reasons to have a test drive. I did convince the dealer to turn the system on after we returned from the drive and check it out while idling on the lot, but it's not sufficient. I've test-driven a few other cars before this one, and this was the first time I couldn't try the nav system in action. So even if I do end up buying a Fusion, it won't be from this dealership, thank you very much. Otherwise, the salesperson (didn't remember her name) was helpful and not pushy.

On a four hour business trip out of town, i heard a terrible metal on metal sound out of no where. Knowing nothing about trucks, I hurried to the nearest Jiffy Lube. After a 2 minute inspection, they returned to me and explained my brake pads had been worn through and my rotors and calipers had gone bad. After explaining to me my bill would be $900, they showed me the brake pads and said " you see how worn down they are?" If I had not just had them replaced I would have for sure just agreed with them and went through with the $900 service. Jiffy Lube explained it was too dangerous to drive the remaining 100 miles to Ford to get this checked out. My intuition told me to take the chance. I drove directly to the Ford dealership with no appointment, with a fear that my truck would stop driving. I pulled into the bay, and a service tech, hopped into my car, we drove about 40ft, and he said I know what it is. 30 seconds later I had another tech under my truck and confirmed it was a problem with the heater shield. He told me he would fix it right on the spot. $3.80 and 5 minutes later, I am on my way with no terrible sounds. All I can say is thank goodness for Apple Ford Lincoln's trustworthy techs and great customer service.I believe the employees I worked with were Curtis and David, but I apologize if I am incorrect. Thank you Curtis and David!

This dealer is a joke. Sales men are dishonet. The finance manger is a ripoff. You get a quote for a car and when you go to sign the contract if you don't pay attention you will not notice it is an other price that you negotiated before. If you ask for a copie ofthe contract to take it home to study it, you will not get it. Sometimes they will even make you sign 2 contract with diferent rates and give you the car to take home and if for some reason you don't show up on time to finalize the deal and to sign the contract that you didnt even read before, they will send the higher APR contract to the bank and guess what you have to pay that car with a higher rate and there is no way of going back or cancel. BE AWARE and do not sign anything unless you read what you signing at.

My husband and I came twice to look at an SUV. On our second and final visit after it became clear we weren't going to buy a car, our salesman insulted us while his manager stood by and watched, even as we were on our way out the door. Through many condescending statements our salesman implied, on my opinion, that we were not decent people and sarcastically said "Goodbye lovely people" as we were walking out. My husband and I were appalled by the poor customer service and lack of action from the manager.

Having purchased multiple cars from Apple, I was a little let down this time. The last year or two, the service department has been going downhill. We've scheduled appointments in advance only to have them not even start on the car that day. They have claimed there is no problem with a car we've taken in, then we get a recall/service notice 6 months later for the problem. The Quick lube hasn't been checking things they are supposed to, and either the water in the car was is really dirty or they're not actually washing the car either. I hope to see this improve, I'm starting to look for a new dealer. On the sales side they've been great to deal with, but disappointing on the service side the last year or two.

Aftermarket with Teresa Volz was great and NO PRESSURE sales, even thought I bought all the aftermarket stuff. I drive over 1 hour from my house to Apple Ford passing a half a dozen other Ford dealers that I have tried in the past. NOTHING is like Apple Ford and Owner Chip Doetsch!!! On 8/20/14 I dropped my car of for a routine diagnostic for $100. After receiving a repair estimate for over $3000, which included $1100 for new tires and $1050 or brakes, I made arrangements at a much cheaper auto shop because your staff refused to address my original issue until I made these purchases. Later that evening the service manager, Curtis Ford, refused to return my vehicle citing that it was unsafe and because all of the mechanics had left for the day, even though the service center was still open. I then demanded the return of my vehicle and asked if the vehicle was in the same condition it was in when I dropped it off. Mr. Ford refused to answer. Curtis then tried to force me to sign a disclaimer stating that the vehicle was unfit to be driven as a condition to take it home. Mind you, my car is registered in the state of New York and another Ford dealership had inspected the tires and brakes 3 months prior so that I could receive a New York inspection sticker, which states that my vehicle is safe for travel.After refusing to sign the disclaimer because Curtis would not guarantee that my vehicle was being returned in the same condition that it was when it was dropped off, I decided to call the police. I waited in the repair area for over an hour before a captain arrived and secured my keys. This is a criminal offense in the state of Maryland.2010 Maryland CodeCRIMINAL LAWTITLE 7 - THEFT AND RELATED CRIMESSubtitle 2 - Unlawful Use of GoodsSection 7-202 - Misappropriation by bailee. 7-202. Misappropriation by bailee. I was pleasantly surprised when shopping around for new tires and never expected to have my Honda Pilot serviced at a Ford dealer!! Of all the places that I shopped around at, Quick Lane at Apple Ford was the cheapest and they were able to get my tires in the next day so I decided to give them a try. When I arrived early in the morning they were pretty busy, but I was quickly greeted and taken care of right away. Allan was very friendly and took care of everything for me including the mail in rebate! He explained the process and gave me a discount on the wheel alignment. After getting the car back the tires looked great. Driving home was even better as everything was perfectly aligned and balanced. Although Allan probably won't be able to get me to trade in my Honda for a Ford, at least not yet, the customer service and quality of work was excellent and I will definitely be back!

I took delivery of my 2014 Ford Fusion Energi Titanium on the 12th of July 2014. The Vehicle I traded in was cleaner than the one I just picked up, and I was told the reason for such a low trade in value is because they wouldn't be able to sell it. It was gone with in a week, while it still wasn't paid off. Paperwork from lease co. has to be redone, don't know why (waiting to come in mail, I'm from out of state). I love the car, but never will I go back to this Dealership

I purchased my vehicle from Apple Ford in 2006 and have continued to have it serviced at the same location since then. I have always had a great experience with everyone that I have dealt with whether it was Allan or Joe in the Fast Lane or Steve or any of the guys in the full service lane. The facility is clean and they take care not to mess the interior of the vehicle with grease, etc. I am always treated professionally and usually always greeted by name. The shuttle drivers that take me to/from my work location are also always courteous. I would recommend Apple Ford to everyone.

Our truck developed an issue over the weekend and we needed it for some urgent jobs during the week. Being short on options, we dropped it at Apple Ford's night drop on Saturday night fully expecting them not to be able to get to it until later that week. However, I received a call from Steve Watts on Monday saying they were on it. He called back and Tuesday with a status and managed to get the truck done by Wednesday noon allowing us to finish our jobs. Steve was communicative, explained clearly what the issue was and proposed a solution that made the most financial sense. He is friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

I was originally told my car would be in the shop for 1-2 days and so far it's been there for 9 days. I haven't received any calls from my service advisor Donna. I still don't know when my car will be ready. I've always had to call her for updates. Getting in touch with her or anyone in the service department is almost impossible. I've left voicemails and continued to call. I've had the phone go to voicemail numerous times and also have been hung up on (which I'm hoping was a mistake). My car is less than a year old and a 2014 Ford Focus that might need a new transmission. The clutch has been fixed and there is still a vibration. Overall not a great thing to experience when you have a new car and you are paying so much each month for it. Donna told me I might need a new transmission which is very concerning and I had to call her to get that information.When I had David Eichorn as my advisor in the past he was very responsive and honest with everything that needed to be done. It's a shame I couldn't have him as my advisor again.

I have nothing but good things to say about Apple Ford's service department. My husband and I have had a few recalls between us and all repairs have been made quickly. Scheduling an appointment has been easy, there's a free shuttle available if you need it, the time for repairs has been accurate, and everyone has been so pleasant. And, most recently, my car has been returned to me after being washed. I've also had regular maintenance performed there, as has my husband....nothing negative to say about any of our experiences.

After having a very unpleasant experience with Scott Rippey and Chip Doetsch a few weeks ago these guys went ABOVE AND BEYOND what I expected. These two gentleman as well as Wanda and Curtis took care of my situation with my lemon and assisted Ford in replacing my Raptor. This took place in 2 WEEKS!!!! Bought a 2014 Raptor that turned out to be a lemon and Ford is buying it back. Scott Rippy, sales manager, wants me to WAIT 8-12 WEEKS for a new truck, but would NOT sell me the truck they had SITTING on their lot. He stated that the lemon WAS FORDS problem and NOT APPLE FORDS problem. Apple Ford's CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON EXISTENT!!! Scott is a TOTAL POMPUS JERK. I was at the dealership for SEVERAL MONTHS trying to get my truck fixed and told Scott to put me in the new truck, but he refused. Curtis the service manager was great while my truck was there for over 45 days out of service. Talked to Chip the owner and he was not very responsive to what I had to tell him. If you want GREAT customer service DO NOT GO TO APPLE FORD!!!!! WORST DEALER EVER!!! I own 47 Super Duties for my construction company and this will be THE last ford I buy. Called Lynne at Ford and told her about this and she said the dealer is a franchise and they are SUPPOSED to do the right thing for THEIR customers, but they can make their own decisions. Obviously Chip has NO CONTROL of his sales manager and lets him make all the decisions for the dealership. Sad to see an owner has no control of his OWN dealership. One can see who really wears the pants at that dealership and sadly its NOT THE OWNER...

I just bought my new Expedition from a different dealer in Boston and when I brought it home I had some trouble with my iPhone connecting to the Sync system due to Sync needing an update by the dealer. I contacted Apple Ford and another local dealership. The other dealership you could tell, didn't want to give me the time of day and said I would have to drop off the truck since it would be a few hours to complete the job. I thought this would be the normal response until I spoke with Rick at Apple Ford. He told be to stop by the very next morning and they would take care of me. Sure enough, they updated Sync while I waited and brought my car back washed. This past week I have had the best experience with two dealers that I didn't think was possible. After a long drawn process that I actually started months before my lease was due to expire and with no clear idea of what car I would end up with at the end, it started with a very casual chat with Bernie out on a very cold parking lot. Well, it seems my Lincoln gets a different service writer than my diesel pickup. Ok. David acknowledged the previously made appointment and asked a few more questions pertinent to the advanced electronics in the Lincoln. Very nice. Curtis Ford's customer service was great. I bought a new truck and was having intermittent problems with the speakers. It was difficult to diagnose because the problem was intermittent. I had my truck at Apple Ford a few different times and Curtis was able to hear the problem. He was not able to schedule a tech to work on it that day, but we scheduled an appt. for the next day. I took my truck in the next morning and they replaced the speakers and so far it sounds great. If you ever have any service issues I would recommend getting in touch with Curtis.
