A sporty request

After searching for a car to fit my lifestyle for quite sometime, I decided to go in to Annapolis Hyundai and test drive a veloster. After driving an automatic veloster I decided I wanted a manual one. The salesmen went above and beyond in trying to find a car that fit my need. Very pleased with the entire car-buying process

I did my research before going to the dealership so I knew what I was looking for. This is the second car I have purchased from Annapolis Hyundai and I am very pleased with the sales and the service departments. There was no haggling over price, they gave me a fair exchange on my trade-in and offered the bumper to bumper but never pressured me into anything. Everyone in the dealership made me feel comfortable and in charge of the whole interaction. The personnel I dealt with were knowledgeable answering all of my questions. I have been utilizing the Service Department for approximately 2 years now and am very pleased with the way they treat me, including offering transportation any time I need routine service on my car. They are prompt and courteous.

Would not answer questions unless I came in!

I cannot say the dealership is bad, but I will not be doing business there. Even though I know I was not buying immediately, I still wanted quotes to get an idea of what I needed. Paul Brookman did not want to give any information unless I came in. This is not how I buy cars I am sure he would rather talk face to face, however, I have a busy schedule and rather communicate through e-mail. To me, good customer service is doing whatever it takes to make the customer happy even if you do not agree with it all the time. Telling me because i am not buying now so he won't give me a quote isn't an excuse, but if I came in he would quote me a good deal. I have chosen a competitor who has answered all of my questions and had all the info I have given Paul. But because of this experience you have lost a customer before you had one.

Several months of going back and forth about getting a 2014 or greater Hyundai Santa Fe sport, I finally made my decision early last week 10/13/2016. Wonderful experience!

I was greeted in the parking lot by Paul Brookman before I could even park my rental car. My 13 year old minivan recently bit the dust so I was looking for a used car. I recently purchased a Genesis from Chris Zook at Annapolis Hyundai. Started via email. No high pressure sales pitches. He helped me with the price range I was looking for. No haggling with the offer. Explained all the features thoroughly and told me to come back any time if I had questions or needed help. He would be glad to assist. Terrible service. Deceitful and conniving group.

I have never written a negative review on one of these sites until this time and this indicates how terrible the service was. Repeatedly deceived me and backed away from promises. Promised me they would give me a written estimate via email after I drove to Annapolis to test drive a car. They never provided one. Then I told them I was coming to close a deal on a grey Sonata plug-in and I would arrive at 9am the next day. I arrived and car had been sold. Shawn L. never called me and never emailed me to tell me that car had been sold. Consistently backed away from things they had promised me. Their excuse for deception was then: "This is just the way the car business is".

Loving My Santa Fe Sport

After looking at most SUVs in the same class, I fell in love with the Santa Fe Sport. Then I discovered it came in Canyon Copper, and I knew it was the vehicle I wanted. However, after dealing with several dealerships in the area and becoming annoyed and frustrated with the salesmen, I had pretty much given up on the idea of getting one any time soon. Then my dad and I decided to stop by Annapolis Hyundai. When we got there Greg S. greeted us and was extremely nice and actually listened when I explained what I was looking for. He showed us the car and actually spent extra time going over the features I was interested in and answered all one thousand of my questions without ever pressuring us to buy it. After we were done negotiating we had to wait a little bit to see the finance person. While we waited, Greg was very personable and accommodating. Then we met the finance guy Kenny. He was also, really helpful and easy to work with. When I was all done, I was a little nervous because my new Santa Fe sport was a lot more technologically advance then my last car, so Greg walked me through how to work everything again and let me know if I had any questions I could always contact Annapolis Hyundai. Overall this was a great buying experience. I was completely stressed when leaving the other dealerships. At Annapolis Hyundai, with their down to earth staff, I actually had a little fun buying my car. When I was done, they even helped me take a few photos of myself with my new car!!!

I have been going to Annapolis Hyundai for about five years for service. I had to buy another car in 2015 and I could have gone to another dealership but decided to have Annapolis Hyundai sell me a car. The experience was great, no pressure. The service team is awesome, clear on explaining the services for my car. On Sept 16th my husband and I decided that we were going to look at the Tucson, just to check it out, not to buy. What A Way to Make it Happen!

On one of the hottest days of the year my husband and I walk into Hyundai Annapolis in search of a vehicle after a year in a half. Paul Brookman greets us with a smile and walks with us around the showroom to answer our questions and then assist us in allowing us to test drive the Tuscon and Santa Fe Sport. Like I said it was HOT and Paul was sweating buckets but went out of his way to help us in making the right decision. During the test drive Paul explained to us the features of each vehicle and answered my husband's many questions. Upon return to the dealership we sat down with Paul and he was able to obtain for us a great price but I just wasn't quite sure, after all like I said this had been a process over a year but Paul was understanding gave us his card and told us that if we had any questions to please contact him and that he hoped that he had done everything to let us know that they wanted our business and that a Hyundai vehicle would be a good investment. I was impressed that I was not made to feel pressured in making the decision to purchase the vehicle on the spot. After a few days I called Paul back and left him a message that I had made a decision and before you know it my hubby, who only buys American, was signing on the dotted line. Turns out that the car we purchased had a small ding on it BUT Paul worked with us to ensure that all was taken care of, provided me with a new loaner and now FINALLY I am riding in my new Platinum Graphite 2017 Hyundai Sport with All the bells and whistles and loving it! Wonderful Leasing Experience

Just got home from the BEST car leasing/buying experience in my 45 years. Christopher Z was an excellent salesman. I told him up front that I didn't want to waste anyone's time and needed a lease with no money down and delivery today. I told him my price limit and he went to work. We test drove the model I had been eyeing. My husband inquired about an additional options package and Chris showed us that one as well. He worked to get rebates and offers that would help keep me in budget. Thorough but quick time was spent with Kenneth in finance and we were ready to head to our new car for a final review of the vehicle. Even though it was near closing time, Chris continually asked if there was anything else we might need him to review or explain. An overall excellent experience. Great Experience

It truly was a great experience. Everyone was friendly and they were very informative. Greg answered all of our questions and provided other very important information without pressuring us to buy. We actually left without purchasing and visited two other dealerships, one of which gave us a better offer on a different vehicle, but we did not feel as though we could trust them. So, we contacted Greg and told him we would be back. Greg and the Tucson made a great impression on us. It was truly a great experience.

Made a difficult process easier

Leasing a new car is always far more time consuming than it should be at any dealer, but Annapolis Hyundai made it as easy and pleasant as possible. They appreciated my need to move quickly because of other obligations on the day we finalized the lease, and Paul Brookman, the sales person I worked with, was very accommodating about moving through he details, getting the best price possible for the options Imwanted, and generally good to work with, as was the finance manager. Jan, the receptionist, is unfailingly calm and pleasant.

I recently purchased a G 80, my salesman was Geegory Scairato and he couldn't have been more helpful. If in the future if I purchase another car I will call Greg. Not good experience

Dear Sir, I purchased 2016 Sonata plug-in hybrid from on Aug-5th-2016 at Annapolis, MD. The VIN# is KMHE54L20GA023788. Annapolis dealer got this vehicle from another dealer and we have to wait 6-8 hours to receive this vehicle. We are not worried about wait time it is about handing over the vehicle with dings and scratches. See below sent to General Sales manager for Annapolis Hyundai. *** Mail sent to Annapolis Hyundai dealer *** Dear Shawn, As we spoke yesterday, I and my wife were at the dealer shop on 8/5 to purchase plug in hybrid. Since the vehicle was not at this shop, Shawn Olsen and Shawn Lagundo acquired the vehicle from another dealer and handed over around late in the night. After reaching home, we noticed a damage on bumper and sent the picture to Shaw Lagundo . He told me to open a claim with insurance company and we promptly open claim with insurance. The insurance company looked at this damage and asking for pictures of detailing service. (see attached bumper damage picture). Further, insurance company found scratch on grille (see attached grille pictures) and they told me that this has happened while fixing front plates at the dealer. I am ready to drive 220 miles to meet you. I would like to know what else you need before we meet and also what are options for these pre-existing conditions. Looking forward to hearing from you. My husband and I recently worked with Greg Scairato at Annapolis Hyundai. He was knowledgeable, accommodating, and always quick to assist via phone/email. Excellent Service - Purchase to Maintenance

We purchased a Hyundai Sante Fe (an upgrade from the Tuscon) in December 2014. We had exceptional service during our purchase process. And even though the process went to about 10 pm the sales team kept their great attitude! We got a fair price and took the very good dealership financing rate. Since then we have had Santa Fe serviced there, several times. Again, GREAT SERVICE so we had to share the great customer service consistency we have experienced. The service team is SO ORGANIZED, friendly, kind, and happy. They have gone above & beyond, for example, they gave us a loaner for the day when the Santa Fe had to be serviced. We are looking for an upgrade to our Toyota and we will be back to Annapolis Hyundai!

Good first time experience

This was my first time buying a car new, and I was quite nervous. I will say, I did get misled by the advertised price of my vehicle online. It looked like it was much cheaper than it actually was. However, after the initial shock, we called around, and, apparently, it's common practice to list the price that includes all possible discounts, even if they may not apply to you. So we decided to move forward. After that, I had a great experience. They let me know up front they were running a little short staffed that day, and did everything they could to make it a pleasnt wait, as they helped others who were there before me. Paul helped me get my old piece of junk car straigtened out, and made sure my new one was perfect, including connecting the blue tooth to my phone and explaining the XM radio. When I did all my paperwork stuff, i worked with Tricia.She was awesome, very friendly and funny. I liked the way they treated you like a friend, and I felt really comfortable. Thanks guys!

This was our second time purchasing a new vehicle from Annapolis Hyundai. Initially we were working with Scott. He was incredibly friendly, and went out of his way to answer my very specific questions. We had mentioned that we bought from Chris Zook previously, and without hesitation Scott turned us over to him. I expected there might be a "fight" for our sale, but not at all. Horrible Experience and Customer Service

I came to Annapolis Hyndai with such high expectations on buying a new vehicle from Paul Brookman, but felt his customer service was awful and him actually debating with my wife and I about the price of the vehicle was the worst experience that we have had in a while. We actually did the research on the vehicle before we arrived there and saw the Internet price but was told that price is with all the incentives which we didn't qualify for. The salesman then proceeded to go back in forth with the manager in his office to negotiate the price of the vehicle for us and it was still higher than expected and instead of saying well let's look at some other vehicles he insisted that this might just might be too much car for us. By the way all the while he was smiling in our faces and the only rsason why was because he had a sign behind us stating and I quote "Smile because you have too".

I will be honest; I have less than good credit. My husband and I visited Annapolis Hyundai a week ago today. We were looking at downsizing to one vehicle, looking to trade in both of our vehicles for an SUV. We were perusing the lot and were introduced to a Sales Associate who was very polite and friendly who immediately showed us an SUV. He allowed us to look inside, check out the "bells and whistles" and offered for us to take it for a test drive. I was upfront with the sales associate, Scott, about my less than perfect credit and wanted to make sure that I wasn't wasting either party's time. He suggested that we get our current vehicles trade in value, payoff amount and "take it from there". After waiting in his "office" for 30-45 minutes, Scott came back to tell me that it was after 5:00 so they wouldn't be able to process our financing application until the next day. Plus, he said, his General Manager wasn't there and he had a way with getting the best value for trades. He sent us on our way informing me that he would give us a call the next day, Wednesday, by 12:00. Even though it was his day off, he said, he was coming in to close our deal and another client's deal. 12:00 Wednesday came and went. I called the dealership trying to reach Scott on Wednesday evening after work and was told that he was off that day, which I already knew, but I thought he was coming in to take care of me? Long story short, Scott has not followed up on his word. On three different occasions he told me that he would call me at "X" time and he never did. I still have not received a definitive answer from the dealership, even a week later. My last call to the dealership was on Friday. I was given Scott's voicemail. In the voicemail I told him that I just needed to know either way and the bottom line is that is all I was asking for; communication. Instead, I guess because my application was denied, I have heard nothing. I guess because I have less than good credit how they are dealing with the situation is avoiding all communication instead of having the decency to just communicate with me. I will never go back to this dealership and I don't recommend anyone else to do so either. Clearly they have a specific client that they want to do business with and everyone else who doesn't fit that mold is tossed to the side. I will make sure that everyone I know knows about this experience and how they do business.

Friendly and Professional Sales Team

I have to say that it was a painless experience compared to previous times I have had to purchase a car. I was not bombarded when I got out of my car which took away a lot of the stress and anxiety that I had. I was greeted with a friendly hello from Shawn. He was very informative, professional and within minutes of talking he knew what I was looking for and stuck within my budget. He pointed out a car that I never thought I would like and quickly love. When it came time to make the decision to stick with a Hyundai brand (yes, I was looking at other 'makes' at the time) Shawn assured me that I was making the right decision. Shaw was GREAT!! Of all the dealers in 100 miles, Scott Kinsley was the only person who gave me exactly what I asked for, that being one number and it happened to be the lowest number of all dealers. Other dealers gave me a bunch of BS then tried to tell me what a great deal I had. Some dealers give me a price with all the incentives included in the price then I needed to add the money back to the price because I did not qualify for the incentives. Scott prepared all the paperwork prior to my arrival so there was very little I needed to do, or fill out forms. I've spent as much as three hours with dealers finishing the buy. This process was less than half.If your business model is exactly what Scott did, you will have a lot of customers and a lot of referrals and repeat customers. Can't say enough good things about Scott, a mature sales person without the BS. Thank you Scott! Don't retire I may need to do this again!!!! (Kenny in Finance did a great job too, great team work)

Hyundai of Annapolis has risen over and beyond for their customers, I was treated just like family. Chris was terrific, no pressure at all. We were coming from out of state after another dealer backed out of the deal. After shopping around for a long time, I finally found a dealership that wasn't trying to rip me off. They were really straight forward with their pricing and had no issues with it. I was so happy with the pricing that I actually flew in from Tennessee to Maryland to pick up the car! Chris Zook went out of his way to make this purchase as seamless as possible. The sales process is very efficient and sales person is courteous and goes out of their way to close the deal.The service department continues to be excellent as well, nothing is worked on until the analysis is reviewed by the customer. Great buying experience. They had the car I wanted in inventory. I worked out a price and picked up the car the next morning. Everything flowed smoothly with no hiccups. Chris Zook walked me through all the important features of the car and set my cell phone up via Bluetooth. Explained functions of GPS and made me do the steps so I would learn. Shawn Ritter was great as was Tricia Priutt, I was trading in a Genesis and they forgot to give me the extra $500 re bate for that, but when I mentioned it to Shawn he fixed it. I think the service department front desk is awesome and the reason I started going there even though is not convenient distance wise.

Bought out our lease

We'd never leased a car before and 3 years ago decided to try a Hyundai Elantra - turned out ot be the perfect care for our needs so when the lease got close to expiring it was time to make a decision on what to do next.
