Best car buying experience ever!

I have bought may cars over my lifetime. This has been one of the best car buying experiences I have ever had. Mark needs a raise. One man should not be expected to do everything he does. Great customer service. Great cars. What more needs to be said. If any of my friends need to look for a car, this is the dealer I will tell them about.

Great Car, Great Price

When I arrived to test drive a Mazda3 I was given the keys and told to have fun. After the test drive the salesman was concerned that the car met my expectations. In no way did he try to convince or pressure me into buying the car. He wanted to know if there were any issues with the car and what he needed to do to fix them. The car was immaculate. I have never seen a cleaner 8 year old car. It drove great. I bought the car for a excellent price. I took the car to a Mazda dealer for them to check it out and they could find nothing wrong with the car. They said it was in great shape. When I am in the market again for a used car, AAC will be my first stop.

HAPPY WITH CAR

I was looking for an affordable used car that would serve me for my current needs. As I was shopping around for a vehicle on cars.com I came across this great car. It had most of the options I was looking for and it was within my price range. When I came to the dealership I felt a little strange at first because I was expecting to meet a pushy salesman trying to make a sale. However, it was quite the opposite. I hope I will be this thrilled with the purchase in a month from now when I will have had the opportunity to see if the car is really as good as it seems right now.

Purchased vehicle

Found the car online and went by AAC's location to drive the vehicle. Location was easy to find. Was initially met by Cynthia who was extremely friendly and courteous. In fact, the entire staff was. The purchase process was fast and handled professionally. I did appreciate that the dealer posted a lot of pictures online of the vehicle including a few minor issues prior to my arrival. Overall had an excellent experience with AAC and would recommend to anyone who is looking for a great used vehicle as they have an extensive variety of inventory to choose from depending on what you are looking for.

Good Cars at American Auto Centers

My son found an 04 Toyota Celica on Cars.com at American Auto Centers. We went down to drive the car Aug 14th 2015. At 140K miles you get what you get, but the car was very clean and ran great. The sales folks were very nice with no pressure. We pulled the trigger and have not had any issues so far. I recommend the cars for any price range.

We bought a 2003 Mustang GT from them, that my son LOVES. The staff was never pushy, but very friendly and helpful. The car had some issues, but they made allowances for them and we feel we got a fair price for the car. We are very happy with our transaction, and would definitely recommend them.

Great customer experience. Returned phone calls and emails promptly. Very straight forward with condition of car. I was unfamiliar with how to move and adjust the seats and they helped show me how to do this. Price was also very good. Vehicle had a bad tire and they replaced for free. Made recommendations on how to sell my own car since they would not take a trade-in.

We were looking for a used truck for my son's graduation gift. I was so happy with what they had available at the dealership and also in the price range we were shopping for. It was a easy process and had the truck and driving it home in no time. I will highly consider shopping there first when I am ready for something new for myself. The quality of the vehicles offered on the lot and the price ranges were competitive and you didn't have to spend all weekend shopping around trying to find a better deal. Usually if it's not a dealer like Ford or Dodge you expect it to be a little run down, but everyone is very professional and the buying process was quick - besides no in-house financing - I bought a 2006 Mustang GT Premium and for the age of the car, they made it look very presentable for me and the prices are really awesome. Definitely recommending friends!

I found AAC through a cross between my vehicle search criteria and reviews on Cars.com Purchasing a vehicle here was definitely a much smoother process than what I was experiencing at other local, larger dealerships. Hussam was great to work with and I didn't feel pressured into buying the car. I was even allowed to test drive it on my own. They're the perfect balance of being laid back and friendly, yet professional and on-the-ball. They worked with my bank located out of state to handle the payments and paperwork and all I really had to do was show up for the pick up and inspection. I'd recommend them :)

I found a car online that I liked and contacted them. They physically checked to make sure the car is on the lot and he saved the car for me before i got there. It was a hot cake and there wouldnt have been an issue to sell it to anyone. I deposited $500 the next day, got my auto exam inspector out there and got "A" Report. It wasn't A+ and I wasnt told its an A+ Condition either. The sales team is not pushy and they let you make your own choices .I drove the car two days in a row before making a choice. The prices are firm but way better than their competitors. The owners will personally close each deal. People may think they are rude or not allow you to haggle with the price. In my opinion they are up front and business oriented. Loved the Car! Love the Price! Love the Business ! Strongly Recommend .

Poor service

This is the worst dealership i have ever been. I never met a sales person attitude can be so impolite and change so dramatically. At first, they were going to sale the car to me and promise me to fix the tiny problem of the car. Of course i paid the deposit. Three day past, i was going to pick up the car which i wanted to buy. They didn't fix the tiny little problem for me and said to me "If you don't want to buy the car then it's fine. I will cancelled the deal but "Please show the respect to me." What !!!??? You promise me that you are going to fix the problem for me. However, at the end you didn't even fix the problem but told me to show respect to you. I don't understand why 'American Auto Center staff's attitude can change so dramatically. If you don't want to fix this tiny little problem, then you should inform me at first. Don't promise until you make it.

Overall

Was looking for a Honda CR-V for about a week and found AAC site. Targeted 3 vehicles to look at. I ended up buying an 08 LX model, got GREAT drive out price, went home, thought about a bit, went back and bought a second 08 CR-V LX same day. Booth sound vehicles, Hassam, as busy as he was that day really worked hard to get me the best prices possible. Great pricing, no hard sells here. When we upgrade our 03 ASTRO, I will for sure look at AAC first for the next CR-V.

Jeep Test Drive

I took a test drive in a used jeep today and when I started pointing out some of the issues with the jeep the owner was very quick to say that he would repair them, the jeep had issues and so I told him what I thought a fair offer was. Well all he had to do was say I cant take that offer but what about this instead. He basically told me to leave and if he knew what I was going to offer he would not let me test drive the jeep. If had major issues with it and I was not trying to offend him at all. Based on the description on the website it was described as clean and in good shape. The jeep had NO mirror in it so how can you look what is behind you. The hard top had no screws in the back at all to hold it down only the ones in the front. The door was jerry rigged and it was riveted on and when you opened it and closed it the whole door panel is just a good two or three openings from coming off. Now I understand when you buy something it is a crap shoot, I was not trying to offend the owner but make a offer that I thought was good and fair. He could have hit me with another price but I guess he thought I was trying to get one over on him. Not the case at all. Then he told me do you have the keys? That's is when I thought this guy thinks I am a crook or something. I would hope that anyone goes there to buy car check it out thoroughly and make sure that a mechanic looks at it before you buy it. I hope that he learns that just because someone makes a offer on something and it is not his liking he should not get so upset. But one thing is clear this I will never ever go back there or I would never buy something from him. Poor attitude and just down right a unhappy person

It's hard to find a good used Jetta TDI manual, but American Auto Centers in Houston has them. Different years to choose from. Went from Dallas to Houston to purchase my vehicle and driving home a great 2006 TDI. Purchased a nice, clean used 2002 Toyota 4Runner Limited 4X4 from this awesome establishment as a secondary recreational vehicle. It was a very smooth, no pressure process that took no time at all. The associates were very friendly and accommodating in all aspects of the experience. I researched extensively before buying this vehicle and couldnt beat the deal. I really enjoyed the fact that I was able to take my time and fully examine the 4Runner at my own leisure and ask questions as needed. The facilities are impressive and, although I was set on the 4Runner, the selection is endless on the lot. If you are looking for a nice car and a great deal, you have to check them out!

First used car buyer

My first car was new, so I had no experience with buying used cars. The dealership told me that they didn't have a mechanic on-site, and that worried me. However, I was allowed to bring in a mechanic to look at the car. I was overall satisfied with their service. I got a 2009 Mercedes-Benz ML350 4Matic, and it the inside was pretty clean and well kept. If you take your time and talk to the dealer, he'll arrange something for you. In my case, I paid cash, and had no problems with the transaction.

I shop around locally at several dealerships. No one had what I was looking for. Every-time I try to tell them a price range, they kept showing me vehicles $10,000+ over what i wanted to spend. I went online and was able to locate a vehicle with all options plus some within my price range. Spoke to American Auto Center over the phone and ask many questions about the vehicle and they were very helpful. They answered all my questions. Any issue about the vehicle was disclosed and I do not feel they hid anything regarding the vehicle. I was able to use my own bank to finance, and they worked with my bank very well. I had to drive over 11 hours to pick it up, and before any paperwork was signed i was able to test drive the car and look it over. I have 2 teenage drivers that will be needing vehicles soon. I will look here first before going to other dealerships.

BOTTOM LINE: I paid premium price $$$$ for a car that was represented as no accidents. However, BODYWORK repair was done to repair UNREPORTED ACCIDENT while UNDER THEIR OWNERSHIP. (*****1*****) This place misrepresent the car that I bought (2005 Toyota Camry) as having no accidents (provided with a clear title/car fax report), However, the car did have past BODYWORK repair done to UNREPORTED ACCIDENT/DAMAGE when UNDER THEIR OWNERSHIP: THEY BOUGHT IT from auction with ACCIDENTS / DAMAGES and had BODYWORK REPAIR done. I called back and he has confirmed this; although he calls it 'dings" and 'scratches'. If BODYWORK/PAINT JOB repairs are done... it is NOT 'dings" and 'scratches'. I WOULD NOT HAVE PAID THE PREMIUM PRICE $$$$ that I had paid if I knew there has been BODYWORK repair done. (*****2*****) Car was not drivable and needed repair within a month (unrelated to the bodywork repair). So, I had to paid ANOTHER 10% $$$$ in fixing the car... within a month on top of the premium $$$$ price. Yes, I know it was a pre-owned car and 'as it'; but didn't expect to GO DOWN WITHIN A MONTH after buying from a big place like this. (Looked up the reviews on the warranty that he tried to sell me... check out the reviews your self and see if you would buy.... it is MORE $$$$ than fixing the car). (*****3*****) He also said my definition of accident is different from him. Here is a definition of an ACCIDENT: 'an undesirable or unfortunate happening that occurs unintentionally and usually results in harm, injury, DAMAGE, or loss; casualty; mishap: automobile accidents'. (*****4*****) ISLAMIC LITERATURE was sent to me along with the license plate. I am offended by this. I CAME TO BUY A CAR AND NOT TO LOOK FOR A RELIGION.

Be Carefull When Buying From This Dealer!!

DO NOT TRUST AMERICAN AUTO CENTERS!! THEY WILL LIE ON CONDITION OF THERE VEHICLES!!I purchased a 2005 Nissan Frontier from this dealer. I called and asked about the condition of this vehicle. They said everything was great. I had to trust what they told me because I am in ND and was not able to inspect the vehicle in person. When I received the truck, the check engine light was on, the spare tire was on the truck, the interior lights did not work and the door remote was missing. I was pretty frustruated about this because they did not tell me about any of these problems. So I hooked up my scan tool to find out why the check engine light was on. Well basicly the code that came up indicated that the transmission fluid was contaminated and caused a solenoid to malfunciton in the transmission. I opened the radiator and it was grey and sludgy. So I took the truck to the local Nissan dealer and told them about the code and sludge in the coolent. They inspected the truck. They told me that it had a cracked transmission cooler which caused the coolent and transmission fluid to mix. They also told me that the transmission will need to be replaced because it is slipping. Total cost for this about $5100 dollars. And on top of that I had to replace the tires because the one tire was bad because of an alignment problem. That is why the spare was on the truck. I asked American Auto if they are willing to pay for any of this. At first they said maybe, but then they played stupid and said that the documents I sent them from the Nissan dealer were a forgery. They also said I should have inspected the vehicle because it was sold as is. I understand what as is means but when the lie, that is a whole different thing. So basicly they lied about the truck because they knew it had all these problems and beings that I am 1200 miles away they knew there wasn't much I could do about it.So if you buy from this dealer, DO NOT TRUST THEM on the condition of there vehicles because they will lie. Have the vehicle inspected by a mechanic at another place or at the very least inspect the vehicle well yourself. I learned a valuable lesson that just because a dealer has good reviews doesn't make them a honest dealer.
