Sales will make sure they take care of you and if they don't have what you're looking for they'll find it. They're not pushy for a sale at all. They like me so much they made a preferred customer and I'm happy to be one. Great place to be.

Rip off

Omar/ Joey sold me a 2008 Benz, I was told that my loan was a no interest loan and my car will be paid off in 3 years. I just found out after 6 months that was a lie. I have a 5 year loan with interest. They are con artists and I wouldn't recommend no one to buy from this dealership. The Loan officer just told me she was surprise that I purchase the car. I wish she would have said something sooner.

Excellent Experience

I had been shopping around for a used Volvo XC90 for about 3 months and couldn't find one that met my needs. I was driving home and saw one for Sale at Alexandria Motors. When I got home I called over and arranged to see it the next morning. The sales rep was very nice. The price was way less than the local dealerships and was equivalent to a private seller price (that doesn't have any warranty). Plus it was inspected. I took it on a very long test drive. Although the car was excellent and at an already good price, there were a few minor things that I wanted done on the car (bumper touch up, new front brakes). They worked with me to get these things done professionally without virtually any change to the price. They were courteous and professional to me. They were respectful as well. If they told me they were going to do something, they did it. I will definitely go back when I get my next car. Excellent high end cars at good prices sold by good people.

A bunch of crooks!!!

They sold me a 2005 BMW. I went to get it inspected in Maryland. It needed about $1000 dollars in repairs to pass. I found out later that the millage was not accurate. when I was trying to get rid of it. When I confronted them about the issue they admitted they knew about it. Even after I scrapped up enough money to get the peace of junk through inspection, the starter died on me a few weeks later. Another $700 dollars. The only thing they care about is the xxxx GPS they put in each car the sell. The company that installs it gives them a cut of the money. All about them. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE!!! you've been warned.

This is the worst car lot EVER!!!! Buyers please beware of this place. They sold me a 2007 BMW 525xi with so much hidden damage is ridiculous!!! They showed me a bogus car fax and hid the fact that it had been in 2 accidents with airbag deployment. With 2 weeks of having this car I spent over $2k in repairs that still didn't fix everything wrong. They dodge my phone calls and do. mop,eyelet shady business. They are a scam!!! Even employees of there felt sorry for me and gave the the low down on how shady they really are. They also sell useless warranties that don't repair anything. I wonder now they sleep knowing they are taking peoples hard earned money without second thought. It's only a matter of time before they scam the wrong person and they get what's. moving to them! They also have a F rTing on the BBB website. Please file complaints against them with the BBB and the VA attorney generals office so that there is a documented history of their shady business practices and we can get them shut down.

Shocked

I called the dealership about a specific car I was looking for and was assured the car was there, still available and actually belonged to an employees spouse. All though it was a nasty snowy day I asked the hours of operation and stated I was very interested and was going to drive to the dealership to test drive and inspect the car. The person I talked to said they were the finance guy and would be there to greet me. I grabbed my wife and made the hour plus drive to the lot, only to be told upon my arrival it was the only car with tags and the person I spoke too had actually driven the car home for the evening and would not be returning ! A few of the employees rolled their eyes and a few just giggled, there was one individual who did apologize and took my phone number and stated I will call you tomorrow and drive the car to Woodbridge where he lived, which is about half way between home and the dealership, 2 weeks later I am still waiting on that phone call.. yea right !

Before I arrived to Alexandria Motors I was completely lost, feed up, and basically out of options. My old car was on the verge of breaking down, my wife was nagging about getting a new car, and my low credit score was not leaving me with many options. I originally explained to Sam, the manager, that I was only interested in completing a cash only transaction for a high mileage car that would probably last only a year or two. However, Sam worked with my credit history, explained ways I could improve my credit, and worked out a deal to put me in a wonderful 2008 Ford Focus. The service I received was excellent, Sam took the time to explain everything to me so that I could make solid decisions. I am very appreciative to Sam and his crew because they made me feel like I was there only customer. There were customers coming in and out of his office all day long, but they made me feel important. The Alexandria Motors dealership did not only assist me with buying a car. They put me in a vehicle that gives me a lot of pride. The Ford Focus they helped me find has all the options of a luxury vehicle at the cost of a standard one. I will forever be grateful for the service I received and I would recommend them to anyone buying a vehicle.

I purchased a car here about one month ago and it is a lemon. The car had a 30 day warranty and they never seem to be able to fix the problem. In one month, they have had my car more than 15 days which is unacceptable. "Eddie" is the owner and I consider him to be dishonest and he speaks very crudely to women. Even if you have to pay more, go to a reputable, large dealer. Stay away from Alexandria Motors. I'm now dealing with the BBB, the dealer board and the DMV. What a hassle to save a little money!

I read the last review and was quite surprised with the review...I went there to buy a 2004 BMW 745LI...This dealer had the car almost $1,500 lower than any other dealer in the area...Yes it is a house converted to the dealer...but I dont see anything wrong with that...It is in the commercial district of Alexandria...One problem does seem like staffing, they are WELL understaffed...The guys need to hire some more employees, but the owner basically told me...With the fierce competition and the lagging economic times...Its hard for them to compete...Anyways...Its been 1 month and I am completely happy with the car...They were upfront about my financing, I didnt have a PERFECT credit score but they got the financing done and put me into a new car...Other dealers straight out said no to me and trust me I went to many dealers...So as far as the last customer claiming this place is a scam...I would STRONGLY disagree..Yes they do have problems...They are very relaxed and not the typical "corporate" types where they give u a flawless bathroom and serve you hot tea/coffee and then shaft you with a smile...I have told them to get some employees so the wait time is less for their customers...I waited 4 hours to get my deal done...but I got it done for $1,500 less than the customer so $1,500 (savings) / 4 (hours) roughly translates to $350 I saved per hour while I was there...At that rate I would have waited all day...

FIRST OFF I should have known going to a house that was converted into a dealership with NO RESTROOM employees walk over to the dunkin donuts to use the restroom. ONLY 2 people work in the office and both seem overwhelmed as if they cant handle customers. They will tell you ANYTHING over the phone to get you to come in then try and talk you into something that you do not want or in other words that they don't want on their lot. I sat in this place for 3 hours the first day dealing with the owner he just sat their and went through papers and smoked cigarettes and bossed other employees around. I think i'm waiting for a response from the bank but NO he just had me sitting there. Then he told me come back the next day with cash for a down payment LIED and said I was approved.I Came back the next day with certified check.NO! Thats not good enough for them they want CASH IN HAND seems like a scam to me. I witnessed people calling asking for their titles, The girl worker would tell people on the phone that was asking about a car to hold she was gonna check on it. And would sit at the desk the whole time and pretend as if she really looked at it SHE DID NOT.IF your not making six figures + they really wont pay you too much attention. They really think their in high end dealer but NOT AT ALL who's gonna buy a bmw from a dealer thats a house and they making over six figures. WORST dealer I have ever been too. They lose keys to cars and blame the car washer to have stole them. They lose files TRUST ME I witness all of this. They are VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. The employees drive the cars for sell like its their own car. We were supposed to meet Sam around noon -he did not get there until 4:00 because of some emergency. This is like a 35-40 minute drive so it's not like we could go home and wait and come back.None of the paperwork was ready the car was not there a sales rep was driving it - the car was disgusting on the inside. They put almost 1000 miles on it in less than a month. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The best thing you can do is not to do business with them.Oh and if you decide to purchase a car from them DO NOT buy the "FREE' warranty that Sam so kindly just "Threw" in for you....because it actually costs $2K!!! Terrible business practices, poor customer service - when called back about the truck not running....we were hung up on.....do not give these guys an ounce of your money!!!
