spent close to $900 in repairs ( was not done correctly first time so I had to come back 4 times to get re-done but still didn't do correctly) Meanwhile, they were refixing this problem for the 4th time, while they created ( purposely or on accident, not sure) some damage which created a leak in my car . I had to take back again for the 5th or 6th time but they denied responsibility and I'm left with a service needed for about $400 worth in repairs which I cannot afford right now so I cannot drive my car. Warning: THEY WILL RUIN YOUR CAR!!

I normally do not review or complain, but this is ridiculouos. I paid for tire rotation and other services, rotation was not done. after going over their checklist of services completed, filters were not changed and fluids were not topped off as stated in their checklist.Their checklist stated that Cabin Air filter was in good condition, i knew that I hadnt changed it in a while and decided to check it on my own, well, it was filthy, It hadnt ben checked. When I called to talk to a manager (Carl Hegge) he asked me to bring my car back the next day and he would help me out. I came back to the dealer and of course, he is not here. I requested a refund with Lisa the advisor whom im dealing with and she said "NO", that would not be possible without a managers authorization. I asked for another manager and they did not have one available. I waited 5 hours to have my car serviced and now its going to take another hour to get my tires rotated. Just got my car back and Lisa stated that the tires had not been rotated as they told me they were originally done. Not coming back for service or any type of services.

Airport Marina Honda Exceeded My Expectations! I had an absolutely great experience with everyone there! My options on leasing or financing a new car was clearly explained. Mike Acosta, the salesperson made sure I got the best deal possible. Great deal that was courteous professional and efficient. Perfect customer service. Everyone made me feel like a valued customer, Strongly recommend! It was clear that my best interest was their priority.

They say something via phone and as soon as you are there, they give you much more higher price. The worst experience. I traveled from far away based on our conversation with one of the sales person, but as soon as I was there, they said we thought you were talking about different car. Wow, they are totally need your money and they don't care about you at all.

See my Yelp review for a picture of the coupon.My wife who had never been to this dealership prior to today came in to use a coupon for an oil change. The coupon says "First Time Visiter Special!" for $19.95The fine print says nothing about a requirement that the "car" must be a "First time Visiter" or "New" to the dealership.Service Advisor: Jorge Huazo, did not at first come out and clearly say he would not use the coupon. He attempted to skirt the issue by suggesting a service package priced at $80. When it was restated that only a oil change was wanted he said it would cost $35 for just an oil change. Thus began the dispute about the coupon wording. He said the coupon would not work because the car had been at this dealership before. Of course it has, it was bought there.Jorge Huazo said he would need to ask his boss, You would expect him to go get someone or at least call someone. Yet he began texting, he must have typed out quite the message because he was texting for a good while. Several minutes passed and nothing, bringing the total wait time up to around 10 minutes with us getting nowhere. Now he asked us to leave the service area so he could help other customers. Before leaving I asked if there was anyone onsite that we could ask so we could get this settled asap, he basically said there was no one working who could weigh in on the issue. I find it hard to believe that a dealership of this size has no one on site that make a call on a $15 decision, and if that truly was the case that is sad.I asked Jorge Huazo what the "Visiter" in "First Time Visiter Special!" meant, was "Visiter" referring to a person or a car? I do not recall him answering.I then asked him if he really felt we were attempting to do something wrong? He commented that he was only trying to do what was "fair".I pointed out that over $15 he was completely turning us off as customers, making us never want to comeback. He again said he just wanted everything to be "fair".I ask, what would happen if someone who had never been to the dealership bought a car that had been serviced there before. Would they be considered a "First Time Visiter" and qualify for a "First Time Visiter Special!"? Or would the car be classified as a "Visiter" and therefore void the coupon is question? Again no real answer to my question.At this point he, in what I took as a attempted threat, said that he would run the title of car and whoever's name came up, their name would be used for the servicing.He said "so we will see, if its as you said. If you did sell the car, and your wife's name is on the car, or if the car is in your name".I never said I sold the car, let alone to my own wife. I asked the above question-"what would happen if someone who had never been to the dealership bought a car that had been serviced there before. Would they be considered a "First Time Visiter" and qualify for a "First Time Visiter Special!"? Or would the car be classified as a "Visiter" and therefore void the coupon is question?"-I did not say the car was sold to my wife from me LOL.Nevertheless I asked if only the title holder could bring the car in for service or not? If not then why say your going to run the title of the car and see who's name its in?If so, then what about people with leased cars, the title is not theirs, they do not own the car. Can they be serviced?In my opinion the issue boiled down to two basic things:1- Does "Visiter" refer to a human or a automobile? I vote human.2- Say "Visiter" was intended to indicate a automobile, was this situation over $15 really handled in a way that was good for the dealership in the long run? I don't think it was.In the end it came back via text that the coupon was ok'd. There was no explanation of if we had correctly interpreted the coupon or if we were being give a courtesy pass.Despite saying "Express service in 1 hour or less", we were told it would be 2 hours.I inquired why it would be so long, I was told it was not a "normal" day and that several people were ahead of me. I'm not positive but I think some customers came in after us, but had their jobs queued up before ours because of the long struggle with Jorge Huazo. I asked if he would check if this was so, this concept seemed to be hard for him to grasp. He simply restated other people where ahead of us and it wouldn't be "fair" if our job went before theirs. I was not asking to cut in line so to speak, rather only to see if the jobs queued up were truly in order of arrival, appointments aside.Letting that go I asked why it would say "1 hour or less"? We were looking at waiting double the longest stated time of "1 hour" plus the 15-20 minuets waiting to get the coupon settled. Again with "fair" he says it would "unfair" to others and we would have to wait.We arrived around 2:10pm, at 4:39pm we were informed our car was ready. Signed - Unhappy Customer

The best team is here at Airport Marina Honda. This is my third time to LEASE a car from Airport Marina Honda, so I am a loyal customer. This past weekend, I brought my car in for an oil change ( oil lamp went ON) was assigned to Lars Gjerde who is a new employee here, but has worked for Honda for 39 years! Lars is very friendly, personable and professional. He quickly showed me what was going to be done, and I agreed to the amount and chose to wait. Ask for Lars Gjerde for your next service! I should add, I called and made an appointment, but showed up 30 mins prior to my TIME, but I was accommodated me immediately.During the oil change, I met Brian Twoomey, the manager and told him I would be coming in soon to look at the new 2015 Accords.I simply wanted to swap my 2012 for the 2015 with the same upgrades, for the same monthly payment. I called Brian within a few days and told him I would be coming in later that evening. Brian stayed late to meet me and had an Accord for me to test drive immediately. I only gave Brian a 2 hour notice! I met Mike Acosta who took care of me by showing me all the new features of the 2015 and the differences from 3 years ago, during my test drive. The finances were quickly done, and I am paying around the same monthly payments. They didn't have the Accord EX-L on the lot, so I was able to customize what I wanted. Brian Twoomey researched and found my car within minutes. Mike Acosta drove to a nearby dealer and brought my car, had it washed. What service! I didn't have to come back later in the week. I came in with my old 2012 and drove out with a brand new Accord! Meanwhile, I saw Alvin Benjamin, who helped me 3 years ago! He remembered me! I waved to him, as he was helping another customer. Overall, I truly feel like I am very special here with such VIP treatment. It is such a rarity when one is treated with such kindness by the entire staff. I do not understand the 1 star reviews. I called Airport Marina Honda today because I misplaced my keys and had no way of getting into my car. It's an older vehicle, 02 Honda Civic to be exact. I purchased it new at Airport Marina Honda and have had it serviced here over the years. I spoke with Lisa at 7:20am and asked her what I needed to do to get a spare key. I've never had to get one made so excuse my lack of knowledge. Her tone spoke for itself. She was rude and unhelpful. I mean come on, it's 7 am you can't already be having a bad day and even so it can't be any worse than mine and yet I managed to say good morning to you. Oh well, I guess the Honda Dealer in Gardena will be my new service provider. Airport Marina Honda can thank Lisa for that one.

From the time I drove up I was treated with respect and shown that I was dealing with knowledgeable people. The entire buying process was made pleasant and it was done quickly and made quite easy. There was one minor problem with the car after I bought it. I returned to the dealer expecting a little bit of a problem getting it taken care of, but there was none. I was sent to service and explained the problem to them. There were no other questions, they agreed with me and repaired my car (slight problem with the lights) and I was away in just a few minutes and no talk of money. I will be back. The car is a 07 Honda pilot. I will be back because of the way I was treated. H.F.

I come from a family of Honda owner/drivers.I've owned 3 Hondas & currently drive 2005 Accord which I purchased (new) at Airport Marina Honda. I referred a friend to Airport Honda to purchase a new car. My friend waited a total of 5 hours today (after confirming price,make, model & completing loan app). At this point I called the Brian to see if there was any hope of completing purchase today & was met by aggression & a don't care if u buy a car attitude. Later Brian contacted my friend & displayed the same horrible attitude. Now my buddy is going to another dealership. In addition, I'm ready to buy another car but due to the above...Airport marina honda lost 2 new car sales today due to their current sales manager.

We came to their dealership twice because in the emails he used misleading words to make us think our prices were close. So when we came down there for the first time, he said "If I gave you 21800 OTD would you buy it today". We said no. The next day we came back for the second time talking about 21700 OTD and thought there was just 100 in difference to talk about. Then we heard the first sentence of this message. Well, we politely left but seriously offended. According to what their general manager said, "messing around with (us)" at least happened during our experience with this dealership on the afternoon of July 31st, 2013. So heads up guys.

This dealership is fantastic! They made the buying experience super easy - no nonsense and straight shooting, no BS. They even sent someone to pick us up at LAX and had the car ready, washed and gassed up. The sales manager was great to work with via phone. I literally did the whole deal in a matter of an hour on the phone and fax. Sales rep Michael Acosta was super hospitable and super helpful. He waited for us at the airport and thoroughly went through the operations of the car with us. He even hooked us up with a great local taco place.

The dealer gave me a good price for honda civic and my friend also bought the car in honda civic. But, the delivery service was horrible. The dealer was 35 min late, and he even did not have time to go through all the items on the checklist, and he said I am sorry I have to run. I felt really bad that he left so hurriedly and let me sign without going through the listed items on the delivery sheet. It is really irresponsible. What is worse, he forgot to bring the keys to me!!!! He said he would use Fedex to mail it to me overnight. But, it turned out to be he mailed it with regular mail. How could he mail such important things via regular mail????????!!!!!! I feel the service is really bad. It gives me a feeling that after I signed the contract, they are not treating me like a customer anymore. I have a pretty bad experience.

On June 4th 2013 I visited Airport Marina Honda for a Major Service ($329.99 with Coupon). Mr. Lyle OTA (as specified in the bill) took my service request. Half of my service related questions were met with "I just joined today and have no idea about it". I had told him I needed the following done on my car:- I needed a Major Service and that I had a couponI needed the car to be washedI asked him about tire rotation (he said it's included in service)I told him my Headlight bulb (left side) was not fixed correctly (Fixed at another dealer) and he said he will get it doneI told him to get the brake fluid cleaned out and refilled with new fluidOn the service wall there was something mentioned about getting differential checked. I asked him what it was and I got the answer he had just joinedOn the service wall there were one or two other items mentioned and I had asked him about it... same answer... he was newI had also inquired about new Tires as the tire on the right - front had a bulge in it and the right - back had signs of crack in the rubber. I got a huge quote of $28 labor per tire and $78 for wheel alignment... which I denied of course. I later on got from Costco for about $15 labor per tire with wheel alignment.Finally, I got my car back from service with a price tag of around $446. This is where my trouble started.1. The car was cleaned only on the outside. 2. When I opened the bonnet/hood of the car, the inside was dirty as xxxx. Nothing was wiped down at all, battery posts, all the lids of all the oil tanks, window washer lid, A/c belts, engine top, wires, headlights, etc... NOTHING WAS CLEAN. When I called the service manager Mr. Rick Holderbaum, he said... that's how we do service.. we do not clean anything. He took full responsibility of the job not done... and didn't do a thing further. Said we are not equipped to do that kind of thing.3. When I reached home, I realized, the Tire Rotation was not done (This was Mentioned in the Major Service Coupon). The right-front had the bulge and the right-back had the crack... just as when I got it in for service.. they did not rotate the tires.4. The Battery Posts was not cleaned (This was mentioned in Major Service Coupon)5. At night I realized, The Headlight bulb was not fixed (I had told them to fix when I took the car in for service) (Also, this was mentioned in the Major Service Coupon)The Major Service mentions other things like change engine oil, oil filter, inspect drive belts, top all fluids, replace air filter, lubricate hinges, inspect exhaust, etc etc... Now I don't know if any of these were done. After the Service when I try to lower the temp on the A/C, it creates a sound... this was not present before service. My rear window creates a sound when going down... this was not there before service.After spending so much money, 30% of the items mentioned in the Service Coupon was not done... and I have proof of that. Also even when the Service manager said that they only clean from the outside... the Alloy Rims on my car is still as dirty as xxxx. Even a $5 cleaning service off my local car cleaners get a better job done... But wait... they are better equipped as mentioned by Mr. Rick Holderbaum.I regret the day I purchased a HONDA. I regret going to AIRPORT MARINA HONDA to research for a CAR. I also REGRET going to AIRPORT MARINA HONDA for the service. One last thing, I got in touch with a Sales Rep to Trade in my 2007 Honda Accord EX (49000 miles) and he gives me a quote of $6000 without looking at the vehicle. It's priced at $14000 in Kelly Blue Book as of today. I was shocked at the sales rep's quote. I asked him why so low for a 2007 Honda Accord EX and he says... 'I don't know, I just came in about a week or so ago.'. He also said that that what the 'guys at the desk' had quoted him and he has no idea why. He was in from a hotel/restaurant industry.What is this? The Sales Rep handling my Quote has no idea about cars... he is from another industry and says he is new... and finally the Service Rep says he just joined today and has no idea about half the items mentioned in the service wall...I also asked the Service Rep to give me a feed back form after I was so disappointed with the service and he says.. 'I have no idea I am new'. I was so upset... I almost yelled at him saying ask the other guys who has been working there earlier...WHY DO I HAVE TO LISTEN TO THEM WHINE ABOUT JUST JOINING THE FIRM. ARE WE NOT ENTITLED TO EXPERIENCED TECHNICIANS? OR ARE WE SUPPOSED TO NOT GET SERVICE CAUSE THEY ARE NEW. I JUST SPENT about $500 for a crappy service.

I want to thank the entire staff of Centinela Honda dealership for their kind and curteous manner in which they delt with my husband and myself. A special thanks to Priscilla who was patient with us in making our decision. we went in to purchase one vehicle and I only needed to tell her about my needed space for my 6 grandchldren, and she got exactly what I needed. I recently had extensive (bad) experience with Airport Marina Honda. I had made a TrueCar search for a 2012 Honda Odyssey Touring. After re-confirming the price with the Internet Sales Manager via -mail, phone and text I came in to buy the car. Once there, they proceeded to offer to sell a lesser model for the agreed price, and raised the price on the model I had come to buy by $4,000, What is really aggravating is that I drove 90 minutes and they made me wait more than an hour.They sent in what must have been a senior sales person, Chris Debonnet, who tried to show me fancy math about the payment is the same (duh, yes but its 2 more years of paying). Really slimy. I got a better deal and no hassle from another dealer.

I am from out of state and have taken my vehicle to AMH 4 times as I am limited on time for service. Battery issue the first visit, since it was replaced under warranty there is no warranty, I purchased from O'Reilly. Second visit brakes grinding inconsisitently, AMH fouond nohting wrong. Third visit, brakes makeing a pulsation sound. Service Advisor replaces front brakes. Fourth visit, brakes still making pulsation sound as did on third visit. Went for a test drive with service tech, he knows what it is, rear brakes.Had the repair approved, waited while vehicle was being serviced and asked to see Service Manager upon arrival. Waitd for about two hours, vehicle completed and no response from the SMgr. I pay for service, who shows up, the SMgr. Hi really didn't give a SH** as I did not immediately contact the dealership after the third visit and the repairs were not completed satisfactorily.Good Bue Airport Marina Honda!

I contacted the dealer through the Honda America website. Alvin Benjamin replied by email within a hour. He then telephoned me to introduce himself. I gave him the description of the vehicle I was seeking to purchase; Homda Pilot EX, with specific accessories. He promptly replied via email with the price of the vehicle plus an itemitzed listing of the accessories and their prices. I checked with four other dealers online. One invited me to visit their showroom to discuss my purchase. This is exactly what I wanted to avoid. Two others were well out of the price range when compared to Mr. Benjamin's quote. Also, two others questioned why I wanted a certain accessory on my Pilot. One dealer's representative didn't appear to be familiar with the accessory I wanted. Over all my experience with Airport Marina Honda was exceptional. I credit that to Mr. Benjamin. He was concerned about my needs. He presented all of the details of the transaction. It was always just 1 more hour, then definitely tomorrow, then definitely in a couple of days. And we're from out of town and just off a 12 hour flight. We waited all day in the waiting room and they hadn't even looked at our car by the time they closed! So we had to spend the night. We chose Airport-marina Honda and he dealership was clean and had a very good selection of cars to look at. Chances are that if you are reading this review, you are familiar with the internet. I am in no way a whiz but decided to do some internet browsing before going to a dealership. I saw the model and specs I was looking for and the internet price seemed decent so I went in to Airport Marina Honda to check it out. When I arrived I was promptly greeting by a sales person who almost immediately started asking me the usual questions,"do you have a trade-in, how much are you looking to spend, what do you want your payments to be?" I simply said, "depends on the price of the car". The sales rep pushed a new car on me immediately but I resisted and requested to look at the certified pre-owned inventory. He showed me only a few models, which were newer and pricier. When I "hinted" that I was looking for a 2009, he said they didnt have any in stock but he would look online to double check. Sure enough, there it was. However, it was $4K less than what was on the sticker and what he claimed to be a "steal". He said that he would honor the "internet" price but that it was their best deal and the deal had to be done that day. REALLY?!! Why would a car cost less online (from the comfort of my own home) than the price i would pay when taking the time to actually go to the dealership? Well, as you can imagine, I left without buying a car. And, on the way out, I saw another salesperson jump starting the same car he wanted to sell me! By the way, who doesn't know how to spell "soccer mom"? Probably someone who isn't...just some food for thought.

Antwoine not only responded quickly, he remained patient and courteous through a month-long process while I was checking around for deals and waiting for the 2012 models to come in. When I was ready to buy, he not only gave me the best price among the many dealerships I contacted, but did so without the good cop/bad cop approach I got from the closest dealership to our home. Most of dealing was online via email. When we arrived to do the paperwork, everything was quick and easy. Alvin and the rest of the staff were very nice. We had visited other dealerships and looked at this car but Alvin was by far the most knowledgeable about the features of the Insight and made sure that we were familiar with all the bells and whistles including where the spare tire was and how to tune the radio before we left the lot. Of course this makes good sense - we will most certainly be more satisfied with the car knowing what it can do. We were there for LONG time, but that was only b/c they didn't have the color we wanted in stock and he sat there right in front of us and traded with another dealership to get us the exact car that we wanted. I have been a loyal Honda customer since 2000. I bought my first car (Honda Civic) at this dealership. In 2007 I traded in my civic for an accord at a different Honda dealership. I have always gone for service such as oil change or body work at Airport Marina Honda, however the last two times I have gone I have been very unsatisfied. I refuse to get service from Airport Marina Honda!#1 Several months ago I made an appointment for regular service (oil change). My appointment was at 12:00pm, however, when I arrived at AMH I was told they were backed up and had several cars in front of me and the wait would be 30 minutes to 1 hour. I mentioned I had an appointment, but that did not matter, I would have to wait! #2 I received a coupon from AMH for new Accord tires %88.00 each. I made an appointment and asked the woman for information. (How many miles are they good for, will they be appropriate for my car, etc) However, when I arrived at AMH I was told that those tires were not appropriate for my 2008 Accord, they were only good for older Accord models, and the tires I needed would be $150 each. AND they had to be ordered because they did not have any. Overall comments: Staff needs to inform customers that appointments are not required, give all information before an appointment, not mail coupons that are not appropriate for your car, have ridiculous high pricesTherefor have created a very unsatisfied customer!

We were in search of a Honda Fit for our daughter in Los Angeles, and largely coming up empty because of a shortage of these cars in the entire state of California. We finally found what we wanted at Airport Marina Honda, who moved very quickly to put the deal together over the Internet and via phone (we are in Seattle). The car was found over a weekend, we pretty much had everything nailed down by Monday, and our daughter drove out of AMH in her new car that Tuesday. Thanks to Alvin Benjamin at AMH for being responsive to our many email and phone questions, and putting this deal together quickly. Our only regret is not getting a few hundred knocked off MSRP, but it was clearly a seller's market in view of the shortage of vehicles, so we didn't haggle. We had a WONDERFUL experience at Airport Marina Honda. We traded in our old Ford and bought a new Honda Accord. Eveyone was professional and curtious. Once we decided to purchase the Honda Accord, it took Alvin a day and a half to locate the exact car we wanted (From color to accessories, not an easy task, I am very picky). My husband and I purchased our Honda from Airport Marina recently and could not be more pleased with our buying experience. We were looking for our Honda at a time when availability was extremely limited. We had put out requests for the car we wanted at several dealerships and had no luck. We found Airport Marina Honda through their bid on an internet new-car price quote site and emailed them. Alvin Benjamin called us back. We immediately had a comfortable feeling about working with Alvin. He said he didn't have what we wanted on his lot but was confident he could work a trade to get what we wanted. Over the course of several days Alvin kept in touch and let us know he was still working on getting us our car. When he managed to locate the car we wanted and could trade for it he called us to let us know there was a complication: the other dealer had installed a few options on it and wasn't willing to remove them. He listed out what the options were and how much extra they would be if we wanted that car. He didn't pressure us to take the car or to make a quick decision. We weighed our choices and ultimately decided we wanted the car as is with the options (they were good options -- mud flaps, wheel locks, a trunk liner -- and not outrageously priced). We called Alvin back to OK the deal and to arrange a time to come buy the car. We wanted to come in the next day and Alvin graciously agreed to come in even though it was his day off. I use to take my 2007 Accord SE to the dealer I purchased it from for service and I also use to live in Cerritos. (Moved to Los Angeles) Well it was time for service and I wasnt too excited about driving 30 miles to get an oil change but I still wanted to do my due diligence and look to other dealerships closer to me for the best price. I shopped Culver City Miller Honda, Scott Robinson, Carson Honda, Norm Reeves and Airport Marina Honda. Alvin was absolutely phenomenal. He made the purchase of my leased vehicle as smooth as possible. I have been leasing with Honda for 3 years now and felt a bit harassed by their leasing company even though I was never late on a payment nor did I ever create any issues with my leased car. They constantly called me asking for reviews in the beginning of the lease and over the past 5 months have been calling nonstop to get my car inspected (since it was the end of my lease) DESPITE me telling them numerous times that I intended to purchase the car. My experience at Airport Marina Honda was AWESOME! Mr. Abner Carl Thomas was by far, the most helpful and exceptional salesman that I worked with throughout my car buying experience. When he approached me at the dealership, he was extremely friendly and provided me with excellent customer service. We test drove the car I was interested in, and he reiterated that he could get me the vehicle I wanted if it was not currently at the dealership. Additionally, he was extremely thorough in explaining the various trims and options that were available. This type of service meant a lot to me and other dealerships (including other Honda locations)were not always as friendly or helpful. I truly appreciate Mr. Thomas' willingness to work with me and the positive attitude he maintained throughout the process. I left the dealership with a brand new vehicle, and I could not be happier. My husband and I just leased a 2011 Honda Civic sedan LX S. We were very happy with our overall experience with the dealership and especially Alvin. From the moment I first e-mailed the dealership to get a quote, I feel I was given the best price. I didn't have to negotiate back and forth which is the way it should be. I have had experience with leasing several cars and generally spend hours at the dealership while the sales person gives me their "best price" and then has to go to talk to the manager each time we discuss a new price. Give me the best deal up front and don't play games - that is what Alvin did. I e-mailed/called 4 other dealerships and most of them were shocked when I told them the quote from I had received. Two of the dealerships told me they couldn't even match the price. One of the other dealerships originally quoted a price $2,000 higher than Airport Marina Honda. When I later talked to the other dealer and told them the quote from Airport Marina, the sales person said she could get me the same deal and had the color I wanted in stock without even checking or working through the numbers. I told her to e-mail me with the numbers and confirm she had the car in stock. Of course it turned out she couldn't match the price and didn't have the car in stock. It would have been a waste of time to drive to the other dealership. We originally wanted a different color which Marina Airport didn't have in stock, but Alvin was very diligent in trying to find the specific color at another dealership. Just helped mom buy her new Honda CRV. I've bought 4 cars (all different makes) in the past 3 years for myself and family members. Been to many dealerships and dealt with many salespeople. Rod Jones at Airport Marina Honda is by far the most professional, straightforward yet friendly salesman I've dealt with. Do your research, ask him for his best price and he'll give you his best price. No B.S. Didn't have to spend an entire day trying to haggle down the price, as I've had to do in the past. This is by far the worst dealer I have ever been to. I got a quote through upromise.com stating that this dealer has a great price. I got an email from Eric Dance quoting the invoice even below what upromise had quoted. I called him to find out more in detail. I spoke with him and gave him the specific specification of what I was looking for. It was for a 2011 Accord EX-L V6 with no nav. I also gave him the color that I was looking for. He told me that there are lots of them on the lot. There is no problem at all. We even agreed on the out the door price. I showed up next day around 12:30 p.m. with my parents to test drive the car. It took him awhile to come out to meet me. He took my parents and I around the lot looking for the car. I should've known at that point that something was wrong. He couldn't find the car with the specs that I told him. He went back to the other side to bring another car around to drive us to the other end of the lot. In the end, the car that I wanted was not on the lot. Still, I test drove the car with my spec in addition to the nav in the car. It was a smooth ride. When we came back, he started to fill out the paper work. That's the second mistake he made. There was no car on the lot and he was taking forever to try to track down another car from another dealer. In the meantime, he was trying to push the car that I test drove. I told him that I didn't want it unless it's the same price that we had agreed on. He gave me a look like I was crazy. I told him that why would I want to buy a car with features that I didn't want. I wasn't going to bulge on it. He continued to try to contact other deals for an exchange. At the same time, he was still trying to push the paperwork through. He finally found another car to exchange with another dealer. It was going to take another 90 minutes for it to be delivered. I should've known better and walked out. He said that it's not going to be a problem. He even told my family and I to grab some lunch and come back. I gave him one more chance....and left to go eat. While at the restaurant, I called him to ask him what the backup plan would be if I didn't like it. He said that I can walk away. I asked him for another car to be brought in just in case. He said that was no possible. I told him that he better be right that I'll be happy with the car. When I came back from lunch, he was nowhere to be found. Instead, I was introduced to another internet sales manager. By then, I was very upset. He knew that fact that I was coming back and yet he still decided to leave for an errand. On top of that, the car was not ready. I test drove the car and was not happy with the handling. I told the new car that I was not happy with it. That's when Eric decided to come back from his errands. He didn't even bother to stop by to check in with us to see how the car was. I told him I want another car. It was already 7:00 p.m. by then. I have been a the dealer for over 6 hours. The internet sales manager wen to discuss with Kenry Ford, sales manager. They came back together to find out what's wrong with the car. I told that the gas pedal and the brakes were stiff. The handling was also bad. The manager said if he could have the service department to take a look at it tomorrow or another day after I purchase the car. I told him that is ridiculous. There's no way I would buy a car if I'm not comfortable with him. He told me to be realistic and not listen to my heart and my gut feeling. I asked him if he would sit in the car knowing that the car is not right. He said that it would be ok if it's only for one night or a few days. I asked him if he can guarantee the car with full money back. He was getting upset that I was being unreasonable. I told him to look for another car for me. I also told him that I have been at the dealer for over 6 hours and it shouldn't even take this long. They gave me there business car and I told them to call me when they find my car. To top it all off, the business car that Henry Ford, the sales manager gave me, was not even official. He took an old business card, put white out on it, and then put his name on it. That's so dishonest.I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN. It was a waste of my time and family time.

I had a great experience purchasing my new Honda Odyssey Touring 2011. From the minute I e-mailed John he whent out of his way to get the specific color and model I wanted the same day, he had it delivered all the way from Irvine. Once I got there my van had my name on it so no one would sell it!! I was there for a while but I had a trade-in that wasn't to easy to sell since it had a high pay-off amount but John did a great job in helping me get a deal. Hi. The rating I'm giving is for the sales experience (bought a SWEET new 2011 Accord Coupe). What a GREAT group of people(Antwoine, Jay, Tony and Lyndon). I'm a super picky (yes, I'd call myself a perfectionist) and very analytical guy, and these folks went out of their way to make me happy! First, because I was insistent on having a tan leather interior, they explained all the color combinations, checked the entire SoCal Honda inventory ... and had to go all the way to Riverside to find a car for me. And what a car it is! Antwoine personally took most of his Saturday to drive from LA (Marina/Airport Honda) to do the dealer trade in Riverside. AND, on the financing end of things, I was thinking about leasing. After I got home and ran the numbers that Jay had worked up for me on my own spreadsheet program, I wasn't really happy with what I was seeing on the imputed interest rate. The next day, Jay and Lyndon (very patiently) explained to me an additional variable in the algorithm that I hadn't realized before (re. the imputed interest rate of a lease). Guess what?!? --I ended up purchasing, and they had no problem re-doing the deal as a purchase. THANK YOU GUYS!! You're the best!I'm telling you as someone who's 49, 6 hours shy of a Doctorate degree (CPA and Certified Fraud Examiner to boot), and this dealership (at least everyone that I personally interacted with) can be TRUSTED! I knew the first time I met Antwoine that he was a different kind of salesperson (i.e. he's someone you actually WANT to continue to have a friendship with). In 40 years of buying cars, Alvin Benjamin is the ONLY salesman I can say that I ever dealt with who was totally ethical, honest and delivered on his word. I've had two other Civics but was never really happy with the dealers I worked with. So I searched dealers in L.A. for a 2011 Honda Civic, and Alvin Benjamin was the only salesman whose name came up with multiple recent rave reviews. So I called him. He was clear, concise and promised to get back to me with a quote within 1/2 an hour. And he lived up to his promise! When I arrived the next day Alvin made the process almost effortless. He was polite, charming and clear in all his communications. No run-around, no "let me check with my manager." It was a totally stress free experience. I stated my overall experience as just good, thought everyone I worked with was extremely nice and courteous, because of the hassle of purchasing a car. My initial exprience with Airport was wonderful. Very helpful, very knowledgeable and a great quality and quantity of cars. When purchasing a car was not working out for me because of the prices they were quoting me, they offered a lease on a brand new car and made it work. I thought we had agreed and when I sat down to look over the prices, the numbers seemed much higher. This rubbed me the wrong way and I walked. I was not happy so I decided to write to the GM and he promptlly contacted me. He got my version of the events and made the deal that I thought I had initially agreed to happen. With that I was completely statified. he even called me the day after my purchase to make sure I was still satisfied and that if I needed anything else, to contact him directly. I would recommend this dealership, you just might have to make yourself heard if you're not happy.

I did my research online and Alvin responded immediately to my e-mail request for information. He made sure he understood my needs, laid out all my available options, did some research for me, and called right back. Everything took place over the phone. The only thing I needed then was to to into the dealership to decide on a color and sign the paperwork. He was patient with me and reviewed my options on color - I made a choice - he went and got the car - I signed the paperwork while they filled it with gas and gave it a wash. A little over an hour and a half at the dealer (no negotiation - just color choice, financing paperwork, and safety features) and I drove off in my brand new Civic!

I had one unbeleivable Positive experience at this Honda Dealership that shocked me to the core because I did not expect it.I met with Mr. Alvin Benjamin around the Mid October 2010 to get help for the purchase of my 2010 Honda Element 4WD,EX Model with Navigation. I was very specific about buying the mentioned model in Silver color. There was only 2 of that very specific car in that specific color and features in the entire state of California. Honda finished the completion of 2010 Elements, and no more of those were to be produced or even currently in production, and the worse news was that Honda STOPPED the Navigation features on 2011 Element models. I visited a couple of other dealerships before I met with Alvin and no other one cared to share that info with me even though I persistently asked for it. In other words, there only chance I had was to buy one of those two available units or else there was no more 4WD elements with Navigation to be produced ever. This great gentleman Mr. Alvin Benjamin took his time and digged all this info for me as I was with him, and he made so many phone calls, and he put a lot of efforts into finding my very specific car. finally, he noticed that he was not able to trade in any cars with either of the other two dealerships to get me my car on time before it was too late and understanding how important it was for me to get this car, he provided me with contact information of the delaerships so I could get my car as quickly as possible. I contacted one of the 2 dealerships the same day and gave them my credit application over the phone and the next day, I drove there and got my car. Mr Alvin did not make any commission on this sale, but he cared for me so much that he did this for me. In other words, this reveals the character of this great man. I assure you, that I never forget what he did for me. That is why I wanted to share my experience with you so that you may get the benefit of dealing with Mr Alvin Benjamin when you are out there to buy a car.

OMG! Rodger is so good to me; everytime I bring my car in, he always stop what he is doing to assist me. He takes time to really give my car a good look over and what ever is wrong with my car, he lets me know right away. When I give him the ok too fix what is wrong, he lets me know when it will be ready, and it is usually on time if not before, my car has never been late in being ready.On the days I cannot wait for my car, he makes sure I am able to get back and forth to work or to a meeting, he makes eveything convenient for me.What I love the most, he is very honest about the repairs that are needed on my car. (some dealers lie just to make money, they tell you things are wrong when really there not). Well, Rodger is not like that, he will always say if it aint broke don't fix it, lets just fix what's broken. Alvin is THE man. No not "the man" you slave away at work for everyday, but the man that can hook it up! All the salespeople at the other Honda dealerships were yanking me around, feeding me a whole ton of BS about how Civic Si's are going to be collector cars and that the going rate for them was 2k over sticker, but not Alvin. I emailed him and he said "I'll give you an Si coupe with navigation at invoice." Thats it! End of story! No gimmicks! He didn't make any optional accessories "standard features," like some other guys do, so they can trick you into buying them. He is extremely honest, upfront, and all business. I do not like buying cars and in the past have had several unpleasant experiences so my expectations for this trip were not high. This dealer was one of very few to answer an e-mail inquiry, and they did so in a very timely manner. I was pleasntly surprised when I walked in to the Airport Honda Dealer. From our first exchange to the last they were calm, professional,curtious and reasonable. We gave them a difficurt task to find two vehicles in two different colors, one of which was in very short supply. They went out of their way to accomidate us and even went to the trouble to drive a long distance to retrieve and deliver one of the vehicles late at night. Missing was the usual game of disapearing for long periods to "talk things over with a superior." Prior to coming in we had two quotes and confirmed the price before we arrived. At no time was there any attempt to raise the cost with items we did not want although they did offer extras. If you must by a car I can reccomend this dealership with great confidence.

Was completely appauled by their APR which must has been 33.86. I did some figures on edmunds payment calculator. Also they wanted $3000 down too. Payments in the neighborhood of 724.55 for 72 months on a $18500 Accord LX. They undervalued my trade-in by $2000. Just a truly awful experience. Unless you are willing to pay cash outright you are wasting your time here. They're straight up swindlers. Worst car buying experience I've ever had. I thought in a down economy people would want to sell cars, this place is like a slum lord. Even worse they're intial offer was less they came back and made it more.

Heed the warnings!These guys are shady. I could just feel the lies oozing from the salesmen and managers mouth. They will go back on prices they quote claiming they didnt realize how much a car was worth when they quoted the price. They will over quote you for blue book and try to raise the price claiming dmv and taxes will cost more. When I bought my car here they said they were going to clean it up but when I inspected closer later, it had gum on the floormat and many of the things they promised to do werent done. Avoid at all costs! If you do decide to do business here, make sure you do all your research and dont buy into what is told to you. You will be sorry if you believe what they tell you, they will take you for a ride.

I see all these negative reviews on the sales department, so I thought I share my experience dealing with their service department: Single word - AVOID AT ALL COST!They are such rip-offs: A couple of months ago I wanted to replace my Honda Accord engine air filter and do a tire rotation and the service advisor, Roger, told me they charged some $90 for engine filter and around $35 for tire rotation. Needless to say, I thanked him and walked away. I bought a genuine filter for $20 and changed it myself in 60 seconds. West Coast Tire Center also took care of the tire rotation for free.After a couple of month, I bought a new Honda Pilot and on my drive home, noticed the car was pulling to right. The next day on my way to the dealership to check the alignment under warranty, I also noticed low air pressure on both tires on right. I met Roger again, and he told me that just to check the tires and adjust the pressure they would charge me $32! I was outraged to see he was charging me that for just checking tires, on a brand new car I owned less than 1 day! Obviously I walked away again, and took my car to another Honda dealership nearby and they took care of everything for free. Sorry to say this, but I am very disappointed by this Roger guy. I have two Hondas and I am not going back to Airport Marina ever again. I kept telling him very nicely that I thought he was overcharging me all the time, and I told him I wanted to be a regular costumer if he gave me a better deal, but apparently he didn't care. If that's the attitude, then I won't care either and I'll take my business elsewhere where they happily accept it without ripping me off.People like this do not deserve to stay in business. Do yourself a favor and stay clear of them!

He emailed me back and told me if I came to a dealership with that price I would be the "laughing stock of the day." Granted this was only by email. I negotiated a deal with Eric Dance on a 2005 Mustang for $10,000. I was told that if my Civic trade in was in the condition I described, (and it is) I would get full blue book value. ($5000) I told him that I would be driving 3 hours to get there, so if he couldn't give me full trade in for my car, to please let me know then. I was told it would not be a problem. So, I go to look at the car the next day, (Did I mention that I had to drive 3 hours to get there?)& the story had changed. A salesman named Guy tells me that Eric isn't there & that he would show me the vehicle. A few minutes later he tells me he has to talk to Eric who I thought wasn't there, whatever. It takes Guy a half hour just to find the car. So he finds it, & I tell him about the deal I had made with Eric, & he says "no problem". I drive the car & I remind Guy about the deal. Again, "no problem". We go inside & he wants to talk financing. (I caught Guy in 3 lies during a five minute test drive) I tell him that I am already financed, & he says "ok", & walks away. He comes back a few minutes later to start paperwork, all the while taking great care not to let me see any of it, & again wants to talk financing. I tell him again that it's been taken care of, so he grabs all of the paperwork he was filling out, & leaves again. By this time, both myself & a friend who went with me were highly suspicious & ready to bail. He comes back 2 minutes later, & AGAIN wants to talk financing. I ignore the question, & ask him what I'm getting for my trade in. With a guilty look on his face, he tells me $2000. I tell him that the car would be worth more than that with the front end smashed in, & remind him that we had already made a deal. He says that that is all that "they" will let him give me for the car. Whoever "they" are. I couldn't help but kind of laugh at him, told him to have a nice day & left. Not once during the 2 hours of my life that I wasted with these people did good ol' Eric ever show his face. I couldn't help but be amused by the situation because these guys are textbook underhanded car salespeople, & make no attempt to hide it. (Bait & switch, outright lies, etc) I would NEVER consider going there again. My advice for anyone looking for a new car is that there are hundreds of car dealers in the LA area, & any one of them would be better than Airport Marina Honda. My advice to Airport Marina Honda is, if you ran an honest buisness, then maybe your employees would have better things to do that roam the lot smoking cigarettes & playing with their phones. Or if you insist on running a dishonest one, try not to be so obvious.

Strange how the best possible deal only today take it or leave it price is beat on the internet by $1000! Rest assured that in the future as I run into people looking to purchase a new Honda, or a used vehicle that I will certainly NOT recommend this dealership. Where to start...I went in looking to buy/lease a Honda Civic Hybrid after finding a dealership ad online. The ad was $4K down on a lease & $129 /mo. I showed them the ad and first said it was a typo. I asked what the typo was - they couldn't tell me. Later when I brought the ad up again they claimed that it was for the regular Civic, not the Hybrid Model despite clear labelling on the ad that it applied to the Hybrid Model. Since they wouldn't honor the advertised lease I told them I might be interested in buying instead of leasing if they could make me a good deal (this is where it gets good). The sticker on the car (non-navigation model) had the MSRP labelled somewhat accurately. The actual MSRP is $22,600. I think they had it listed as $23K+. The best part though is the dealer asking price: $31,500+. Yes that's right, almost $9K more than the MSRP and about $2K more than the top of the line Prius. The invoice price on these cars is $20,789 by the way so they are looking at a hefty 50%+ profit (assuming they pay invoice which they probably don't since they are "the highest selling Honda dealer in LA"). That also assumes they sell the cars at that price (the sales manager assured me they sold three very recently). After the test drive they take me in and begin their 4-square dealing beginning by asking for the "standard" 1/3 downpayment (before the credit check mind you). While I pointed out that a down payment of 1/3 is hardly standard despite what their sheet of paper said I like making big down payments to keep the monthlies low so I told them I would be willing to put a third down (or close to it) as soon as they deducted $10K off the price of the car. At this point I was passed off to the "fleet manager" who supposedly has access to better deals. After a nice round of negotiating where I kept saying there was no way in hell I was paying beyond MSRP since I could go to any dealer in town and get close to MSRP (Remember the whole reason I went to this place was because of the FALSE ad they posted on the internet)and he kept telling me that I'd have to wait a month to get cars at other dealers I thanked him and attempted to leave while he was explaining that it would be totally worth it to pay $10K more for a car so I wouldn't have to wait a month to get one at MSRP some where else. Sorry if I'm boring you but the story does not end there. After it was clear the sale wasn't going to work we started negotiating a lease. They asked me how much a month I'd like to pay and I returned to the add I brought in and told them I wanted the advertised terms (ends up being about $300 a month if you figure the down payment into the monthlies). The sales associate took my offer into "the back room" so they could determine if they could do the deal. They must have the Greek Senate back there because I sat there for two full hours waiting when they finally send out one of their financial people who told me there was no way they could do less than $400 a month on top of a healthy down payment (even for people with the best credit). Really? It takes two hours to figure out that an offer that is half of the minimum you "can do?"When they asked them why they wasted two hours of my time when they could have just looked at the offer and rejected it they told me "that's just how it works." Wow after over three and a half total hours at the dealership I finally get an honest statement. Moral of the story - buy your Honda somewhere else.

We finally agreed on a price, but now I realize there was no dealer installed stereo. The paperwork I signed after agreeing to the deal is not the same paperwork that was on the car. It does not indicate a dealer installed option. What is does indicate is a dealer MARKUP of $3,000. I am confident that the sticker I saw on the window was not the same sticker that I was asked to sign after the deal was agreed upon. I brought up the "$3,000" dealer-installed stereo multiple times in the negotiation process, but I was never corrected or told there wasn't one. I believe the dealer put the incorrect sticker in this car, realized their mistake during our negotiation and made sure I signed the correct sticker at the end of the process when I signed all of my paperwork. They listened to my complaint but refused to do anything about it. I will never shop there again, and I will do everything I can to let prospective customers know this is a dishonest dealership.

This dealership has been by far one of the worst shopping experiences of my life. I was lied to, ignored and laughed at over the course of three visits. Each time I came back was under false pretenses.The first problem began like so...I went in wanting to buy a Honda Fit. After two hours of negotiating a BUY, we got the figures we both agreed upon, then they asked me, "Okay, are you ready to sign the LEASE?" The word "lease" had never exited my mouth since entering that dealership. I should have known then what I was in for. So we started negotiating a buy. We got to some slightly higher figures than I was hoping for, so I said I would look around. After looking around a bit and going to other dealerships, I realized that they had made me a decent offer. I went back in to take them up on the offer they made me, and all of a sudden, they can't do that offer anymore. They are now saying that it wasn't a real quote, and the offer was just what they were "hoping" to do for me. Another 2 hours go buy and I end up walking out again.Two days go by, then I recieve a text message AND voice mail saying they would price the car at $1000 down, 260/month for 66 months. Great deal, right? I called three times to confirm this offer and that the deal was ready to go, including tax, title, fees, etc. When I got there, they brought out the pencil and paper and started once again with the same offer that I turned down 2 days ago! Talk about a bait and switch. When I would not back down from the offer they sent me as a text message (which I showed to them), they seriously laughed at me. It was one gentleman in particular, I wish I could remember his name. Laughing at a customer after lying to them? Ridiculous.I have never been so fed up with a group of people in my life.If you are trying to avoid frustration and bad business practices, then stay away from Airport Marina Honda.

I was told that the 2005 Nissan Sentra would cost me $11,900. I put $6,800 down and financed the rest. When I received the paperwork it said I still owe $8,500 not including the finance charges and interest. I am a first time car buyer and they lied to me and took advantage of my inexperience. These guys put the "slimy" in "slimy used car salesmen". I would not recommend this dealer to ANYONE!

I have been dealing with a Warranty service issue for over 8 weeks now. The biggest problem I have is that the service group does not return phone calls or messages. You have to make constant calls until you finally reach the person for whom you are looking. The customer service is atrocious. I have been using this dealer for 6 years and the service over the past 6 months has slipped from good to TERRIBLE.

I went in there to trade in an '04 Civic and buy two new '06 Civics. They tried to give me 5k under what my trade in was worth and played dumb when I told them the true value of the car. They tried to sell me the two new cars way over priced. They play dumb with info you give them and try to make it seem like you have no idea what you are talking about. They are the kind of slimy car salesmen and managers that I try to stay away from. At one point they insisting that I sign a contract to buy the cars even though I did not want to. In the end they just walked away from where I was sitting without saying a word and ignored me. Very rude and agressive people to deal with! I would NEVER go back and i would advise you to do the same. I ended up buying my two vehicles somewhere else.
