I went to Acura of Berlin to look for a used Acura TL, unfortunately it was sold the day before I got there. So instead I decided to test drive the new 2016 TLX and used Cadillac CTS they happen to have as it was a competitor car I wanted to test against.The salesman Felix Jackson helped me through the purchase process. He was extraordinarily polite and knowledgable. There was no pressure and he walked me through the buying process there. He even allowed me to test drive their new TLX model hassle free and assisted me in looking for the original car I wanted, a 2013 TL.It was a very pleasant experience and I would go back for any future car buying needs. Ubfortunately, I found my ideal car at another dealership. Felix Jackson in particular was wonderful. I would go back there for future car buying needs.

Being a loyal Acura customer I have decided that my next car after returning from overseas would be an Acura. I have dearly missed driving Acura for the last five years. Even though I was a frequent customer of Berlin Acura back in the days, I have decided to visit few dealerships in the area. And thanks to my friend who is also a loyal Acura customer insisted that Acura of Berlin provides the best service. After visiting the dealership and talking to personnel I got the feeling that he is absolutely right. Sales person Raj made the process entirely easy and exciting. He is very easy to deal with and have a wonderful personality. He explained everything from the beginning to the end clearly. General sales manager Ludney was there in every step to make sure that the process is going smoothly. Geno, the business manager made it entirely easy even though my credit application has a 5 year gap for job history. He went over the board to make it work. Thanks a lot Raj, Ludney and Geno and the rest of the team to make this place customer friendly. Great job Acura Berlin team!

we purchased a new 2016 mdx from Gerald Campana, from the moment we walked into the dealership my wife and I felt very comfortable. there was no pressure like were used to with most car dealers. he spent the time to explain all the features and options on the car and spent time answering all of our questions. when we decided to purchase the car jerry stayed late to finish the paperwork with us and didnt make us feel rushed. when we picked up the car today we had to bring our 3 young children with us and everyone in the dealership was very helpful in keeping them occupied while we signed all the paperwork and went through the new car. Geno the f/i manager explained all the paper work and lease information to us clearly. when we walked out of his office it was the first time we didnt feel taken advantage of after dealing with a finance manager. Andre the sales manager was very helpful in helping us navigate the entire process and even helped my wife sync her bluetooth. overall the entire process was flawless and we love our new mdx!!!! we cant wait to see the new dealership

I have purchased many cars over the years with most of them being Honda/Acura products. I had a wonderful experience with Acura of Berlin and with Tiffanie Haynes, in particular. Tiffanie made me feel comfortable, relaxed and was exceptionally professional. This is a rare combination to find in an automobile salesperson.Tiffanie also worked with me to get me the exact car I wanted and kept it within my budget. Everyone else at the dealership was also very helpful, and professional. Just bought a 2012 TSX from here and I love it! It was exactly what I was looking for so of course I'm happy but what made me buy this car from Acura of Berlin was that the experience was enjoyable and they took care of me. I wasn't pressured into anything and the car was reasonably priced. Everything they said they were going to do, they did. It was missing a second key so they gave me another at no cost. They also gave me new floor mats at no cost. Tiffanie Haynes, the sales woman who showed me the car, is a fun and enjoyable person to test drive and do business with - no pressure or tricks! I felt like I could trust everyone I came in contact with - no hidden charges, everything was explained to me and all my questions were answered. I would definitely recommend Acura of Berlin and will go back if I want to buy another one one day!

Acura of Berlin was a time consuming, misleading disappointment. Initially, I called up the store and asked for the price on a specific vehicle, pending a $5000 dollar deposit on my part. He put me on hold and came back on the phone a few minutes later with a price of $319 a month. I agreed to buy the car, and put down the deposit. Next thing you know, I get a call saying that I CANT have the car and did not qualify because, although I own a business and provided proof of a pretty steady, pretty substantial stream of revenue, I did not have pay stubs and therefore did not qualify. I asked if there was anything I could use in lieu of paystubs, or if there were any way around it and I was told that if I could not provide pay stubs then I did not qualify and could not have the car. Mind you, I was already told I could have the car, already filled out paper work, and already put down a $5000 deposit. Frustrated I called up my initial sales rep and asked if he could do something about the situation. Eventually I got a call that I COULD have the car and they were mistaken. So after jumping through all of those hoops, I went to go sign the final papers and now the car was $400, plus another $20 for the warranty! So it went from $319 a month to $400 a month, $100 more than they told me. Then when I get the car and Im ready to leave, he walks me to the door and says I cant show you how to use that car, or how to use anything IN that car, we sell Acuras not Inifinitis, so Good LUCK!. I left feeling frustrated, appalled at the service I received, drained from the emotional tug of war of being told I could have the car and then I could not have the car and then I could have the car again, and disgusted with the parting words from the sales rep. I own my own business and was always taught through many years working in customer service and training employees under me as well, that you always help the customer with whatever they need and if you dont know something, you tell them you will find somebody who does. He practically scoffed at my choice in car, and said I cant help you with your car so good luck. Acura of Berlin was the most disappointing and stressful car buying experience, and I dont recommend using them for anything other than masochistic intent. They havent even given me my plates yet! Im still driving around with DEALER PLATES! The employees should be ashamed of themselves for misleading customers on price, and on the quality of their customer service. Ive received better service at Mcdonalds after midnight in a bad neighborhood.

I just wanted to say how much I am in love with my new 2016 white ILX. From the time that I walked into the dealer to the time that I left they were never pushy about buying the car they were very easy to work with and get me out of my old lease into my new car. This process would not have gone the way that it did without all the help from Gerald the one that helped us through the process. Was very smooth and quick with the transition. I went in Acura of Berlin to look at a certified pre-owned 2013 Acura ILX. It was white premium package with 30,950 miles on it. When I went to look at the car they were asking $20,500. They let me and my father test drive it without one of their employees with us which my father liked very much, but I had been car shopping for an ILX for quite some time now and was not willing to pay $20,500 for one with almost 31,000 miles on it. After attempting to negotiate they went to $20,200. They went on about how it was because it was certified with an extended warranty and the price can't get any better. I filled out some credit paperwork to run some numbers which was the biggest mistake I had ever made (especially as a first time car buyer). I was harassed day and night from a flood of emails, text messages and phone calls from the dealership. I ended up finding a 2013 black on black ILX premium package with 30,000 miles for $18,500. That car also came with a better extended warranty than what Acura had offered me. Unfortunately I am still flooded with letters in the mail from all the banks Acura ran my credit (almost 4 weeks later now), They also made getting my deposit back a nightmare that I paid in cash. Out of curiosity I went back onto the website to see if they still had the car...and they do except they lowered the price to $19,994...but I thought $20,200 was the absolute best they could do.Due to their lack of the ability to negotiate they lost a customer and I bought the car somewhere else and I could be any happier. I'm here to give my experience purchasing a new car Acura of Berlin a couple weeks back. I generally don't write reviews, but I hope to at least save someone the trouble of doing business here. If there's anything to take away from this review it's to STAY AWAY FROM ACURA OF BERLIN.Two weeks ago, I purchased a 2016 ILX at Acura of Berlin. I'll spare you all the details about the poor customer service, the lying about how much longer I would be there, and the parade of different managers that "apologized". The real issue comes to this: their finance manager was on vacation, and they had someone else filling in for him in while he was gone. No one their could find where they kept the license plates, they incorrectly filed my finance application, and they issued me plates that they did not have at the dealership. All and all, I left Acura of Berlin with a dealer plate on my car and a temporary registration. It has now been two weeks since my initial experience with Acura of Berlin. When I left the dealer the first time, they told me that someone would be out to me in 3 days with the registration and plates that I had already paid for. They claimed that they couldn't re register my car with the correct plates online, and that they would have to talk to the DMV to sort out the situation. I can honestly say I wouldn't be writing this if that were the case. I've had to explain my situation to the finance manager, and general manager multiple times since then. Both whom pretend to care, but evidently don't care enough to return my calls or update me on the status of my registration and plates. My temporary registration expires in another few days so I will now be taking my third trip to Acura of Berlin to get it renewed for another week. I can honestly say I've never met a group of more incompetent people in my life. It's impressive that they have managed to stay in business this long if this is how they treat their customers. TL;DR don't buy a car here. they don't know what they're doing

Called and ask the finance manager if the car was traded in he said "yes". A few minutes into the conversation I pulled up the Autocheck and found out that i was purchased from the auction. I was lied to. Very dissapointed that they just cannot be honest and tell the truth. When a dealer lies to me it makes me wonder why (Greed, desperate?).I would not recomend this dealer.

I recently purchased a new TSX from Acura of Berlin. I came in just after opening time without an appointment on the Sunday of President's Day Weekend. I was a little surprised by the number of customers already there and was greeted by a friendly receptionist who told me I would probably have to wait a bit since all salespersons were with other customers. I almost gave up waiting after about an hour of waiting, but finally I did end up speaking with Mr. John Franco. He completely wowed me and turned the entire experience around for me. He was a true gentleman and showed me all the features of the car from top to bottom. He was not pushy but at the same time let me know that they wanted my business and would give me a great deal. The pricing they were offering (which was written out for me on a simple piece of paper) for the new vehicle as well as my trade in was more than reasonable and sealed the deal for me. I even told him that while I was definitely interested in the car that I was not ready to place a deposit on the car until I thought about it and talked it over with my wife. This was another reason I felt completely comfortable with the transaction and decided instantly upon driving home that night that it was the right dealership to make the purchase. The entire sales process the next day went smoothly and there were no surprises in anything that I was quoted the day before (this was again a nice surprise from the typical dealership that I have come to expect). We set up a delivery date a few days later and again the process was streamlined and enjoyable. The business manager Lauren Jackson was informative, kind and we could feel her excitement for the products she was selling, although not pushy. We have already referred all our family and friends to Acura of Berlin and look forward to a new relationship. I hadn't purchased a new car in over 13 years and this made it such a great overall experience!! Great job.

I was initially referred to Acura of Berlin by Amy Balko, who had a great experience with you. I was assisted by Larissa who did an amazing job helping me with the TSX that I was interested in. I have leased a lot of cars in the past and have experienced both mediocre and good service. However, I was "WOWED" by this experience! Larissa not only made it fun to shop for a car but also went beyond the expectation. I was on a crunch for time because my previous lease had to be handed in in just a few days once we had set up the date I was going to come in to get the new car. As winter can be a hindrance, a snow storm occurred on the day I was supposed to pick up the car. Larissa, contacted me early that day to let me know that the dealership would not be opening because of the storm. I had already turned in my old car and wasn't sure how I would get there because of that and having to work the next 3 days before leaving for a trip to Florida! Larissa offered to pick me up and get me to the dealership and worked with me to get things done timely so I could fit it all in! Even though I wound up not having to take her offer to get me there, I was very impressed with everything she did to accommodate the situation! The people at the dealership were friendly and knowledgeable. Follow up by sales rep was timely and professional. The financial transaction was pain-free as well. The negotiations and pricing on the certified pre-owned vehicle was agressive and allowed for quick turnaround for both parties. It would have been better to be more forthcoming on reasoning for deeper discount which was, in part, was due to Bridgestone tires evident in on-line photos being removed in favor of less expensive Nexen brand. Completely understandable to get me to my price point. Just would be best to explain that upfront. All together a streamlined and positive experience with both the sales rep who was new, but well trained, and easy to deal with as well as the dealership itself. My experiences with Acura of Berlin have been more of a hit or miss. I live a few miles away from this dealership and it would be the ideal home for sales and service for me. My recent experiences have been anything but ideal.It took me 3 visits to the dealership to get a test drive. The lady at the reception on my second visit told me that rather than stopping by for a test drive it would be better if I leave a phone number so they can call me and set up a time! Because the sales people come in and then they have to be in a meeting and such, telling me how busy they are with their things.Later, on the day that I had decided to buy the car, if the price on my trade in was right, I revisited the dealership. The sales person Larrissa, could not proceed with the appraisal process of my car before they had made the entire sales presentation despite my pleading that all I wanted first was the price they would give me for my trade in. That would be a deal maker or breaker.I just wish they would pay more attention to customer needs.I ended up with buying the new Acura RDX at Schaller Acura and I am very happy.My experiences with service department at the Acura of Berlin have been more normal. As a former owner of an Acura MDX and an Acura RL, the service staff has treated me well.

Very positive experience overall. Mr. Gerry Campagna was genuine, honest and straightforward with me. We negotiated a price that was far better than several other dealers for the same vehicle with the same options. There was never any pressure to make a decision quickly. A few minor concerns I has with the car were attended to prior to closing the deal. The car could have been detailed more thoroughly when delivered, but I did leave with 3/4 of a tank of gasoline. We quickly partnered together very well to get the right car for me at the price I was looking for. This man is simply amazing (and therefore very busy too!). After owning an Acura vehicle already, coming back to Acura of Berlin was an excellent choice. My husband searched for about a month for a new vehicle and visited several dealerships(not Acuras). He kept comparing other models to an Acura and nothing could meet his expectations. When he went to Acura of Berlin he was greeted by Larissa, who was most friendly and very pleasant. She was also very informative and not pushy as a sales person. They went on test drives and she answered all his questions most impressively. He could not decide between the MDX & the RDX. Larissa went over all the pros & cons, and could not be more helpful in my husband's decision. Well he is now driving a 2013 RDX and absolutely loves it! She was not pushy at all - in fact, she was came to my house twice for test drives to help me be positive that I would love the car (which I do, of course!). She answered all of our questions - and we asked ALOT of questions! Michael the Finance Manager was also terrific. Again, not pushy at all - he explained all of our options but did not make us feel bad for not choosing any extras. We had shopped around a bit and got a lower price from a different dealer - since we had worked with Larissa first, we gave her our business when she was able to match the other price. We feel we got a great deal and a fabulous car from people who strive to keep their customers satisfied.

Our experience with Acura of Berlin was excellent. It was obvious from the start that our sales person Larissa wasn't just trying to sell us a car, she was making us feel part of a family. There wasn't a question we asked that went unanswered. There was no pressure to buy whatsoever, nor did we feel rushed. Not only did we test drive the vehicle, but we were encouraged to take it home overnight. In fact, we drove two SUV's home to conduct 'test fits' for our bicycles. After making our decision to buy, the vehicle came to us spotless inside and out, with a full tank of gas, and a detailed explanation of how everything worked. Being a woman you feel vunerable when your car isn't working properly and from day one i felt secure in knowing everything will be taken care of. My salesperson was Andre and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I have been shopping for a car over 2 months and have gone to several dealers. I had a couple bad experience; lying salesman, pressure sales, negative attitudes. Andre was great. He listened to what I had to say about what I was looking for and my price point. He delivered. And was polite, funny and just a decent person. I felt that he wanted me to have a car I could feel comfortable with and not just a sale for himself. A friend referred me to Acura of Berlin after having his certified TL serviced there. I had been looking for a fun to drive AWD sedan and found a really nice Certified 2010 TL on their lot. All though Im still under 30 years old I have been having lower back problems for some time now. Being 63 230 lbs. with back problems makes it very difficult to find a comfortable vehicle. Jon Pace and Eric Sandstrom were more than understanding and offered me and my wife an extended test drive to make sure there were no problems. They took the time to make sure that we would be happy with whatever we bought. Jon also took the time to walk us through the lot to compare driver seats in other pre owned models. We never felt rushed or unimportant like we had at other places. Buying a car can be a stressful process at some dealerships but not at this one. The professionalism and follow through were excellent. From start to finish these guys will take care of you. Dont hesitate to visit them if youre in the market for a new or pre owned Acura. You wont be disappointed!

I made 3 separate visits to the dealer over a week period before deciding to buy the car because I needed to work around my familys available time so they could see it and drive it to be sure it was the right choice for us. Michael was very patient and flexible to our needs throughout this process which made the purchasing process comfortable. This was our first time shopping at Acura of Berlin. We were helped by Jon Pace who when we told what car we were looking for, knew exactly which one it was! We saw the car before it had been washed and detailed. Jon and Max then promised us a new car after it was cleaned and detailed. A week later we went in a saw a vehicle under a car cover. Unknown to us was that it was our 2007 TL S Type! Once the car was uncovered, we saw the car of our dreams. Jon had made this car exactly what I wanted. Jerry always gets me the deal I need, he figures out a way to get it done, and their great customer service and service department keeps me coming back. Their staff, from the front desk, to the guys in service check in, to their finance manager and sales manager all are great people to deal with. Eager to help and pleasant and friendly too! My experience at Acura of Berlin was second to none. The friendly staff treats their customers like...well...customers. The atmosphere is far different then any other dealership I have visited. Jerry (assistant sales manager), the first person at the dealership to greet me, had me driving off in a brand new Acura RDX hours later. He explained the process every step of the way and spent a great deal of time making sure I understood where ALL of the numbers were coming from. Max, the general sales manager, helped facilitate the deal towards the end. He was friendly and transparent the entire time. Jerry and Max always made sure I was comfortable with everything that was going on. In fact, at one point I asked myself if I was still purchasing a car because it certainly did not feel like it. We had previously purchased an MDX from Jim a few years ago, and had a great experience, so we went back when it was time to replace our other car. We had an older Honda Accord to replace (11 years), and we were not sure if we wanted another Honda Accord (because we were used to it) or the Acura TSX. We went to see him and he did a great comparison of the features of both cars. (we also discussed other Acura options) He even had a Honda Accord for us to test drive (used but very new). It turned out that the TSX blew the Accord away. Jim helped us in our test drives to accelerate into the curve and it was easy to see how much better the TSX was for turning and cornering, and how much more in control we felt. Jim was very friendly and did not pressure us to buy the car, but he did point out its many great features. He was very patient with us, as we had our son with us and had to take the test drives one at a time. He knew all of the features of the car and showed us everything and how to use each one. He also made the whole experience very simple for us, which is good since we both work a lot and are very busy. He is very smart and has a classy way about him. He gave us what we felt was a fair trade for our old Honda and it was very easy to just come and pick up our new car. He was very organized and gave us everything in a perfect neat package. He called to follow up with us to see if we had any questions on the car or any of its features. We were thrilled with the service we got - usually we are stressed and nervous buying a new car, but the whole experience was fun and friendly. We will only go back to him since we have had such a great purchase. We love our TSX and have recommended Jim and Acura products to others too.
