We were very well received by the entire staff at Acura of Baton Rouge. We were introduced to salesman Donnie Kendrick who made our car buying experience so easy. Donnie was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and pointed out all the features of each model making our decision much easier. Our purchase was so simple as all paper work was done and ready upon our arrival when car came in. Following our purchase Donnie took the time and patience to go over the technology features and made sure we understood them before leaving dealership. Business manager Kimberly Guidry was also very helpful and went over all details in financing the vehicle.

He does try to give you the deal, He always answers when you try to contact him, candid, professional.Kim was very nice, she did work with me on the price and made the transaction smooth.

Consultant did not know the inventory and after walking all over the lot I was told he did not have time for me. Totally unprofessional sales consultant. After the lack of customer service I walked to leave and another sales person try to help but by then my experience was totally shot. Won't be back.......

You'd of thought we were buying a new car by the way Jerry treated us--honest, forthright and genuinely concerned that we get the truck we were looking for at the price we wanted to pay. I politely told him I went another route. He then became rude and unprofessional telling me the car I bought was too small and not as good as the RDX I was previously looking at.

Stopped by to test drive the classic 2004 - 2007 TL/TSX body style and had the experience of a lifetime. Although they were super busy, the manager of ABR approached me, asking had I been helped... After my reply of no I hadn't he assured me someone would be there to assist me in a couple minutes. I didn't purchase a car that day but the customer service and assurance after the test drive that I'd be taken care of, is giving me a second thoughts... Maybe I'll drive a classic home for Christmas! If not I'll definitely be back this summer (which is my original plan for a new car ).

We finalized our purchase of a new car today with the help and guidance from Mr. Brad Gordon. My wife and I seriously started considering buying an Acura about two weeks ago. We visited the dealer this week where Brad greeted us in-between the construction. After hearing about the different packages etc., Brad did as I asked by sending e-mails etc. on the vehicle, we exchanged phone calls etc. In the end we changed to just the technology package on the MDX model after working with Brad and also realizing the color scheme we wanted wasn't available in current inventory. To make it short and sweet, very satisfied with our experience with Brad and a special thank-you to Mr. Hutchens, for his guidance and Mr. Deven Le for his final blessing.

And I must add my absolute favorite thing about Brad is that he's not overwhelming or pushy at all. There wasn't any intense "power greeting" or cliche' tactics deployed. I truly appreciate that more than anyone at Acura knows! Do your homework online, go visit Brad, and expect a very fair, easy negotiation process if you're planning to get an Acura from these folks! I had service performed on my Honda CRV last Wednesday at Acura of Baton Rouge, My service coordinator was Kristin Corroa, who thoroughly exceeded my expectations. She is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about her job. She kept me informed during the day on the how the work was progressing, When I arrived to pick up my vehicle late in the afternoon on a typical warm Louisiana day, it was waiting for me under the portico ready to go. Due to an unexpected accident, I found myself in the car shopping market. I normally don't look forward to shopping for a car because most places harass you and you feel like a hostage unless you buy a car. That was not the case here. I received a call from Brad Gordon about an inquiry that I had made and I happen to be on my way to the dealership at the time. Once I got there, Brad came to greet me and did not waste my time with a lot of small talk. His questions allowed us to quickly define what I was looking for and we were able to hit the target on the first car driven. We then when on to discuss pointedly what I was looking to buy the car for and came to an agreement on price. What I liked most is that Brad picked up on the fact that I was looking for less BS so to speak and cut right to the heart of the discussion. I liked that. Once we worked through this process and the paperwork was approved, Kim G. ( I do not have her card in front of me so I cannot remember if her last name was Guidry or Guilbeaux) who was the finance manager and she walked me through all of the paperwork and answered probably a million what if scenarios. She was funny and made it easy to get through it all. Everyone was very congratulatory as I walked through to go get my car at the end and that was cool. I also have to mention that there was a lot of construction going on and the dealership did a good job diverting your attention away from it all. I did not realize until the end that I had been to the same dealership to buy a previous Infiniti that I owned. It looked different with all of the new construction happening. I would gladly recommend this dealership and the team that helped me.

We live in Hammond LA and were in Natchez MS and drove to Acura of Baton Rouge after an online search to just "look". Even though the delearship is undergoing extensive renovations, we were greeted at the door by a very hospitable group of sales staff. The salesman we conversed with on the Internet was with a customer and he recommended another close associate to work with us. That salesperson was Donnie Kendrick and he turned our visit into a very pleasant buying/leasing experience. He was able to locate just the right car for us, a 2015 Acura TLX 2.4L with the Technology Package in Graphite Luster with Graystone leather upholstery. His knowledge on the technical details of the car and financial options were very impressive and we left completely satisfied with our new purchase.

I was looking all over for the Acura TL SH-AWD 6 Speed Manual and found it online at Acura of Baton Rouge. Ricky Williams engaged me when I made my inquiry. I live in Indiana and so I was negotiating for a car I had not ever see in person. Ricky took extra pictures for me and even did a thorough walk around for me and sent me the video. Once we agreed on a price, I had the paperwork for signature the next day. It all went very smooth. I was set up with a transport company to pickup my car in Baton Rouge and deliver it to my house in Indiana. The key to my happiness was the constant and timely communications from of Ricky Williams that kept me up to date on what was happening in the process. Happy customer. :)

Our new Acura is supper-cool as was our experience buying it. Off course we would have liked a smaller price tag, but your staff helped to mitigate that anxiety by being even more exceptional than the car. Brian Thompkins actually sold us on the car by phone before we met him in Baton Rouge. We did our diligent internet research and pretty much had narrowed it down to potentials, Acura RDX or MDX, Cadillac SRX, Lexus RX350, and BMWx5. Leigh drove the SRX and was not star struck so I didn't bother. Our plan was to drive the others the same day, but we blew that off after driving the RDX which was our first pick based on what we thought we knew about the cars. The show room was neat, clean, and all your staffs were very professional. Brian met us at the door and was as personable as our phone conversation had lead us to expect; he is very good at what he does although I was wearing my BS Armour, thankfully it was not needed. Brian had a recommendation ready and the test drive was waiting, that is where things got better as Erin Elizabeth stepped right into our life, probably forever. She took the ball from Brian and away we went. She directed us over rough roads, pretty streets, narrow ones, and busy highways all the while demonstrating features and little things we needed to know. Erin definitely sealed the deal during that test ride. There was no nonsense; the process of deciding which car, how to best pay for it, extra services, and what not to do were explained clearly before the final step with Kimberly. She made the paperwork process seamless and fun. There was not a single hiccup, she answered our questions before we ask, and was delightful which is as good a word as any to describe our entire day. We love the car. Our new paradigm is to trade at every opportunity and drive brand new until they take our license. So, anytime you need a beautiful used Acura and can replace it with a new one without a payment change, call us.I can't think of anything that did not go well that day except lunch. It was a little too light although the chips were fresh and the diet coke was cold. My husband and I Purchased both vehicles from dealer after a few months we took the cars in for inspection and 10 point oil change check up, one of the cars failed inspection all after their maintenence dept changed the oil and checked tires etc for maintenance on car, supposely. Called to talk with manager Nikki she claim that we were informed about low pressure in tires,? If yall are checking our tires why would the pressure be low after your 10 point oil change which includes the tire check? She replied,maybe we did the inspection first...Really!!Vikki!! I replied have a good weekend. U jus lost 2 loyal customers..Super pissed!!

Recently (2 days ago) I purchased my 2016 Acura RDX. This is my 3rd Acura and together with my husband, our 6th. Even though it seemed like it took an eternity to come in through no fault of anyone but mother nature, my vehicle was very much worth the wait. I love it and am sure it is the most beautiful vehicle I have ever owned. I got to know Erin Elizabeth Wereskla really well while waiting for my new car. She kept me informed on it's progress along the way by texts and phone calls. Couldn't have asked for anyone more sweet, knowledgeable, professional, and kind to make this whole process easier and made the time go by fast. Now that my car is here all I can say is I'll miss talking to her on such a regular basis. Thanks Erin, words cannot ever describe how much you are appreciated. I was pleasantly surprised to have Kim Guedry back on board as our finance manager. Kim sold us our 2007 MDX 8 yrs ago and we loved her then. We had a lot to catch up on and it was a pleasure working with her again. Thanks Kim! Welcome back!! Loved seeing your face. I also look forward to making my scheduled maintenance appointments as I have done with all my vehicles mainly due to Ms. Francie in the service dept. She too, is a a pleasure to work with and always there for anything needed making sure to offer us beverages or snacks and going out of her way to make us comfortable. We love our Ms Francie. The rest of the service dept are top notch friendly and professional. I know I've dealt with Bill, April, and Taylor before but I wish I can remember all their names but they escape me now. I had dental surgery earlier and am still "loopy" from the anesthesia. In closing, when my husband and I started talking about the purchase of our new vehicle, there was never any doubt what I'd get or where I'd get it from. I "toyed" with the idea of a Corvette, but I knew it wouldn't be a wise choice because of my love for the MDX's and RDX's and they fit my needs better. The complimentary food truck and CC's coffee truck was was just the icing on the cake to show how much Acura appreciates it's customers. I love Latte's even on very hot day! Acura of Baton Rouge will always have my heart as well as my business and I will definitely recommend them to anyone looking into buying a new car because of the care and concern from Acura itself and their fine, outstanding employees.

I had been looking for a used van for 4 months. I had a 2013 car that I had paid cash for, and wasn't interested in having a car note. I wanted an even trade. Numerous dealerships said this was impossible, and basically talked down the price of my trade-in and offered me a 'deal' that involved handing them my car plus over $4000+. No thanks. One day the van I bought showed up in my daily search for used vans within a price I thought was reasonable for trading. In fact that day there were two vans, exact in everything but color, I contacted both this dealership and the other, and the other said there was no way they could make an even trade. But this dealer would, tax, title, license, everything. I checked everything I needed to know about the van before I made the 100 mile trip to see them. And we walked out of there after about two hours, because I'd already sent the saleswoman all my info about the car I was trading and myself. I was very clear when I bought it that I was planning on taking the van to and from Disneyworld in less than a month and I had no interest in buying a vehicle that would need work before or after the trip. I was extremely happy with the van. On the drive home though, we noticed a few things were wrong, things that wouldn't have been made known during the test-drive, and I told the saleswoman as soon as we got home about the troubles with the car. She had me drive the car back up to Baton Rouge for repairs. They weren't able to fix it all in one night, sent me home with a rental and I came back to pick it up with the issues resolved the next day. Cut to two weeks later, and there's a weird vibration that I'd told the dealership about still, that I didn't want to deal with for the 20 hours I was about to drive in less than 2 days. It was 3pm Thursday, and we were leaving 4am Saturday morning for Disney. I paid a local shop to balance and rotate the tires in hopes that would take care of it. When I went to pay, they told me the van had serious issues that I should take care of BEFORE the trip, otherwise the van might not be safe. I told them that the dealership just had my car, why would these issues be there. They tried to convince me the dealership had skimped on repairing my van. I told them we would handle the repairs ourselves instead of paying them the THOUSAND dollars they wanted to repair the list they gave me. I was really really upset. I get really upset and emotional when my cars need repairs, because my dad was my mechanic and we'd just lost him to cancer. And here I was feeling like someone, either the dealer or the tire shop, was taking advantage of me, and I didn't have my dad to help me. I felt so lost and frustrated. I was so upset. I called and spoke to Mike, the used sales manager, just to vent. I explained what the tire shop had said, told him we were going out of town in less than 40 hours, and was just generally cranky about how this shouldn't even be happening because the dealer JUST had my car. I told him I didn't expect them to fix it because I knew I had bought a used vehicle in as-is condition, but I really just wanted to fuss. He asks me if I can come up to Baton Rouge to let them look at it the next day, suspecting that maybe the tire shop is actually trying to scam me. When I say there's no way I can make this trip to Baton Rouge because there was too much to do before the trip, he sends a loaded Tahoe LTZ and a driver down at 8pm to grab my van and leave the Tahoe for my use and says they're going to take care of everything and bring my car back to me when they were done. I was so blown away I started crying some more. A HUGE weight is just suddenly gone. It was awesome. The dealership was able to get my van back to me the night before we're heading out to Disney. The tire shop was in fact just trying to scam me, but the dealer put on new brake pads just to be sure. My van drove beautifully to and from Disneyworld and I was even more glad I bought her when all was said and done.This is the first time I've bought a vehicle without a warranty. I felt like I was taking a risk when I did that, but every single thing that came up after the purchase, the dealer took care of, no charge. They could have easily said 'You bought this car as-is, what do you expect us to do?'. But they took care of us, and that is amazing. When it comes time to buy another vehicle, we're coming to these guys first. And I'm recommending them to all my friends and family. They really want their customers to drive away feeling happy and confident in their vehicles.

I purchased my 2007 Acura TL Type S from Acura of Baton Rouge a few months ago. As I live in Mandeville and work in Metairie, going to Baton Rouge was a bit of a drive, I was entitled to a complimentary tire rotation and oil change as a result of my purchase from the dealership. While I was there, the service adviser stated there were several upcoming things that needed attention (timing belt service and transmission fluid service), but the rear brake pads were coming very close to needing to be replaced and the cost for the service was going to be $188. Without directly naming the other Acura dealer, I called the other Acura dealer who was a closer and more convenient to me to check the price for their rear brake service and that cost was $288. I had Baton Rouge Acura do the brake service. The cost to do my timing belt was $960 and the cost for the transmission fluid service was $99. With my curiosity peaked, I called the other said Acura dealership who wanted $1,250 to do the timing belt and $153 to do the transmission fluid. Once it comes time for the timing belt and transmission to be done, I will surely be returning to Baton Rouge Acura for my service needs as they are very reasonable in price for a dealership. The staff is very welcoming, friendly, and accommodating as well.

My first contact with Mr. Williams was while I was at the Kenner, LA Acura Dealership at which time I thought I was going to by a New Acura MDX of which was communicated with the sales person the previous evening. Low and behold, they were selling my Acura when I pulled up. I called the nearest Acura dealership in search of a Black Loaded MDX and Ricky was extremely instrumental in providing all the facts by phone and assured me the SUV would be there when I arrived the following day. Ricky stayed in touch with me during the 24hr period and basically sold the phone via phone. Upon arrival Ricky immediately introduced himself and proceeded in making the sale final. After running across the vehicle on the internet, I called Acura of Baton Rouge and spoke with and eventually came in to meet with Mr Jerry Amoroso. Mr Amoroso was very pleasant to deal with. The financing incentive is $1250, so not taking it would increase the sale price by that amount. I had a great experience purchasing my Acura. The salesman was extra patient as I made my decision between different vehicles. The professionalism of the salesman was why I chose my Acura over the other make. He answered all of my questions and took the time to make sure the car that I choose was indeed the car that I needed, pressure free. I appreciated his honesty and he earned my trust. The dealership was equally great to work with and everyone was courteous, friendly and wanted to make sure I felt at home. Normal routine service has been great too. They are quick, efficient, friendly and keep you up-to-date on everything. You can tell this dealership cares about their customers and goes beyond what's expected to have those customers coming back. I was impressed.

I bought a certified pre-owned Acura ZDX with the help of Katherine Stewart at Acura of Baton Rouge. The price on the car was very reasonable and I found discussing things with Katherine not at all unpleasant. I found her very nice to work with. She was cheerful, helpful, and very responsive to questions. She was helpful over the phone, by email, and in person. On one day, I asked her many separate questions by email, and she kept responding, even up until around 10 pm. The car itself had very low mileage (around 5,000) and came with a warranty up to 100,000 on powertrain. I extended this to up to 100,000 bumper to bumper based on a reasonable price recommended by finance person P.J. Tarvernit. P.J. was also pleasant to deal with, and pushed my daughter (who was playing spinning on chairs all the time their) so that she could have a ride on a chair from one part of the dealership to another. Katherine was helpful in answering all questions, and helpful in explaining the increasingly complicated electronics in cars these days. She set up the bluetooth on my phone, and synced my phone contacts list with the car. In short, I think they gave me a good deal and were (considering I had not met any of them before this) amazingly wonderful to deal with and they clearly have a "customer is always first" attitude. I have not yet had a service issue with Acura of Baton Rouge but I hope their service department is as nice to deal with as their sales department.
