They tell you that you need the service plan extra andwill never pay a cent for service. Purchased a certified car. Within 8 months they say needs brakes and rotors 200.00 for rotors. I said no I purchased certfied 2014 car to cut budget after husband died. Had to cut budget. They sell every thing gap insurance. payment was supposed to be under 350.00 ended up being 488. a month.

I just bought a 2015 F150 XL from Acton Ford, and I had been looking at many local dealers, Acton Ford had the model I wanted, in the color I wnated, with the options I wanted, worked with me on a price I could afford, and worked with me on trade in value. I am very happy with the service I received, friendly KNOWLEDGEABLE staff - they knew answers to all my questions- even the finance guy knew about service questions break in periods, etc. They are local to my work which is part of the reason I chose them, but their prices were lower than other delaers as advertised, and I feel as if I got a good value and had great service. Go see Eric LaRiviere in sales!

I bought mt 2007 sport trac (my dream vehicle) and have always had all my work done there. Everyone from front desk to sales to mechanics are professional and courteous! Moved to FL and them. I have sent them a request on work that I was told needed to be done, found a good mechanic here, but want Acton Ford's opinion before I get it done, I trust them that much! Best place and people!

I took my car to your dealership to have an intermittent tail light examined to see if it qualified for a no cost replacement. My surprise was when the car was ready for me, the tail light had not only been examined but replaced. Thank you.I do have another issue that I hope you will be able to assist me. Both of my front door handles have broken away from the return spring such that the doors do not lock when activating the sending key. I have not checked for a recall but I do know that I am not the only one with this problem. Is there a recall and are you able to help?Thanks again.Sylvia

Came in for routine service and a problem with the HVAC fan. Was told that I had dented some of the fins in the HVAC system. Picked up the car and the note from the mechanic said the system was falling apart. If the mechanic is right, I would have made some different decisions about what to do. Looks like I'm going to have to pay for a whole new system in addition to the $160 fix to get the fan running again. Disappointing.

Great. Only comment is that they made a note that low beam light is gone. Instead of that if they call and ask me whether that light has to be replaced, that would be great. I travelled to New York that night, with single working low beam light, which I don't like.

I moved since purchasing my vehicle from Acton Ford and it is a longer drive for me go bring my SUV to be serviced there but it is the friendly staff that comes through.The only thing that would be nicer is if Acton Ford had a few benches placed out front for those that would rather wait for their service outside when there is good weather.I have a slight disability and Ron Colon has been especially helpful in working with me which he probably has no idea how much I appreciate him for that.

The employees at Acton Ford are not your stereotypical car dealership employees. They charge you for only the work they do and only the time the spend on the work. They will not fix anything that isn't broken and will call before fixing anything that unexpectedly comes up. The employees are also very nice, polite people. I highly recommend Acton Ford to anyone looking for a pleasant car purchasing or fixing experience.

I came in for an oil change and an inspection. I didn't realize I was getting "the Works." It took quite a while, almost three hours, and included a tire rotation, which was fine. We won't be pursuing the service suggestions made, at this point.

I like working with Acton Ford because they provide knowledge as well as a comfortable environment. This is true for the sales force, which was not supportive but didn't try to force us to sign a contract immediately with some fake percentages. They were professional and answered all our questions to hour satisfaction. The service department is providing good workmanship. I've never had a bad experience and always very competent in the support. Dan Summers is always very supportive. .Facility could be a little bit improved....it's not bad but I think the waiting room and the Service Area could use some color and face lift

I could go to several other ford dealerships closer to my home. I go to Acton Ford because the service staff and sales team are FABULOUS. They are not the typical creepy car salesmen. This is my third Explorer which I have purchased and leased from them. My next one will be purchased there as well. I can not say enough good things about the Acton Ford organization!!!!! Other dealerships should take some lessons from them.

Overall, very good service, proactively contacted me to make sure they had a part in stock and changed my service date. One issue, they updated my Sync software and it caused an issue with my touch screen, which they didn't catch before sending me off. When I called in, they were able to quickly provide instructions on how to correct the issue.

As always GREAT Job, took truck right in at appointment time, staff is always friendly and helpful. Waiting area offers free Wi-Fi and K-cup coffee. The staff is always smiling and Techs who work on my truck always come out after to tell how everything went and how everything is looking, that's better service then my doctors office. That's why I am on my 12th vehicle from this dealership and will return for everything from sales and service to parts.

I scheduled an oil change and recall work over the phone with a service rep. The work was to take approximately 3 hours and I was to drop the car off at 8 AM on a Saturday. When I dropped the car off I got the distinct impression that the appointment was not in "the book". However, the service manager made sure that the work was done by the time we needed the car at 2 PM. All work was done to our satisfaction and all in all it was a good experience. Staff is always pleasant to work with and I trust the work that is done.

Faulty alignment/tire installation

I went to Acton Ford to get four tires and an alignment, as my previous set of tires were bald, and the car hadn't had an alignment in a while. Two days after the work was completed, I slid on a relatively clear road into a curb, knocking the tire off the tire rim, causing it to go flat. The collision happened after I took a turn from a dead stop at a red light, going 5 mph or less. Even with balding tires, I had never had an issue with sliding on the road until after this work was completed. Using the tire iron that came with the car failed to remove the tire - the tire iron warped and stripped itself before getting the fourth of five bolts off. After getting the donut on the car and bringing it back to Acton Ford, they denied any responsibility in either the alignment or tire installation work and were going to charge me for the installation of a new tire as well as checking the alignment again, told me it would cost $124 to replace the cheaply-made tire iron that came with the car (I felt it should have been a free replacement, given it failed to survive even one tire change). To make matters worse, they proved to be incompetent once again. I had ordered a tire from them to replace the now broken one. They had ordered it, cancelled the order because they found one in stock in the dealership, then sold the one at the dealership (which one of the employees had said was reserved for me). My appointment was at 10:30 A.M. I was told this at 11:30 A.M., an hour after I arrived, and was told the tire would not arrive until 2:00 P.M. Overall, they provided incredibly poor service. If I was going to be forced to pay to have the work from four days ago repeated, there is no way I would pay these incompetent people to do it.

I've been going to Acton Ford for service on my 2010 Fusion for years which I found to be excellent. So when it was time to upgradeto the 2013 Fusion I went back to Acton Ford. John Donohue, sales rep, showed me the new features on the 2013 and we made thedeal. I never felt pressured to purchase the car or purchase any other extended warranties. John showed me a new featureActon Ford just developed. It is an online training program that you can see from your home PC. It describes all of the features that your new car has and how they work. You no longer have to stay at the dealer for hours trying to learn about your new car. Of course John did take the time to go over the car with me before I drove off but I used the online service a few times later at home. The experience was good and I'll be taking my new 2013 to Acton Ford for service.

I just purchased my 7th new vehicle from Acton Ford, this time a special-order Shelby GT-500. I have ordered cars (3), little SUVs (2), big SUVs(1), pickup trucks (2). The cars, SUVs and trucks were purchased at prices that were extremely fair and well below the typical area dealers for the same car. The key for us is the consistent warm, knowledgable, friendly atmosphere. There is NO "pressure" to "buy today", NO hard-sell for anything like extended Warrentys, LoJack, Paint Sealant, etc., etc. Some customers, like me, know exactly what they want and the options they want, and have already researched all the information about the vehicle. Acton Ford makes it easy by just explaining the options available to you (e.g., buy off the lot, order from the factory or order bone from another dealer that has the exact one you want). They calculate a very competitive price for you for the car and the optional add-ons (Extended Warrenty, LoJack, Paint Sealant, etc. in case you want one or all of them. They do not ask you to purchase the car by some date that would be convenient to them, rather, they respect the fact that you are the customer and they let you know that they will be happy to get your car when, and if, you want. Conversely, if you don't not know what vehicle you want or you wish to be educated on the whole line-up of cars, trucks and SUVs, they will do so in a relaxed, educational manner.Before a friend recommended Acton Ford to me about 15 years ago, I had always avoided having my cars maintained or repaired at a dealer because of bad experiences. The Acton Ford service department has been absolutely outstanding repairing or maintaining my cars over the 15 years we have been buying our cars there. They are very flexible and want you to be happy, for example: aftermarket parts? no problem, they will install them; custom lift-kit for your truck? no problem, they will install it and get it right; you drive an Acura? no problem, they will do most common services and maintenance for you. Lastly, they have the finest detailing crew around - you can ask them to do a special detailing alone, or after maintenance or a repair and your vehicle will be returned looking perfect.

The ignition on our family car locked up, the Car was still under warranty. We had it towed to Acton Ford. They couldn't even look at it for a week. Whereas this was a warranty item, I called Ford and asked them to tow it to a dealership that could fix it sooner or arrange for a loaner (we are a family of five all 3 of our kids are in car seats and our other car is a economy compact sedan. Ford told us "it wasn't there Problem". A short while later Acton Ford mis-diagnosed a break problem costing us additional repair costs and risking our families safety. My father always bought Fords, I had been only buying Ford products until this experience, needless to say, this was my last Ford.

The BEST car purchase experience I've ever had!! Kudos to Acton Ford. I've purhased 14 new vehicles in my lifetime and Acton Ford made the usual painfull car buying experience very enjoyable and hassle free!!All dealers should make buying a car this easy. The salesman helped me find the car I wanted and then gave me his very best price right up front. He made it very clear this was a great deal for me but there was a small profit for the Dealer. This makes sense to me.
