REGRET!(Be ready for this is going to be a long story)I regretfully purchased my 2016 Civic EX-L CVT from this dealership. I pre-negotiated the price with Mehrdad Saatara via e-mail. Mehrdad Saatara even told me that he could try and beat the price that I was offered at a different dealership. Since I had already negotiated the price of the vehicle before I walked into the dealership, I thought all I had to do was walk in and only do paperwork. No test drives, no add on sales pitches, nothing, since we had already worked out a price. I scheduled a time with Mehrdad Saatara to come in to do the paperwork. I walked in and he was trying to sell me a car I was there to purchase. I had to tell him SEVERAL times that I did not need to be sold on a car that I already negotiated the price on. So we finally started to do paperwork. To my surprise, he was trying to sell me $2,000 (before tax) worth of additional accessories that were NOT listed on the website. I told him that I did not want those accessories. He was giving me some story of how I should go ahead and get the accessories, for they would greatly benefit me. I should have gotten up and walked out of the dealership then. I should have, but I didnt. He left, then he came back and told me that he can take some of the accessories off, but there will still be about $500 worth of accessories left. I told him time and time again that I did not want those accessories!! He left again, and low and behold he was able to sell me the car without the accessories. After an hour of his tom foolery, he then showed me the price that we agreed upon and showed me that he was able to beat the price by $100. I was fine with that, for I knew I already had an aggressive price. We completed the paperwork. When I finally got home I remembered that I had forgotten to ask the director of finance, Nora Reynoso, for the 90 deferment with 60 days interest free that is part of the College Grad Program. I e-mailed her that same night, and then followed up with a phone call the very next day. Nora Reynoso proceeds to inform me that their dealership is not equipped to fully offer everything that Honda USA has to offer. I was floored. She then proceeded to tell me that she will work with her DPSM to get the software up-to-date so that way they can re-write my contract. Received a call from one of her finance managers Ruben Lopez, and he told me that Mehrdad Saatara did not make a copy of my paycheck stub. I of course brought in a copy, and thats when things got strange. Ruben proceeded to tell me that Nora is actually NOT working with the DPSM to update the software, because Honda USA makes it difficult for the dealerships to purchase the software. WHY WOULD SHE LIE TO ME?!! I dont believe anything these people are telling me. I called Honda USA to seek guidance and also to see what exactly is the truth. Honda told me that every dealership works with a DPSM to get the latest and update software. If they do not have the latest software, then they are NOT working with their DPSM. The representative advised me to contact the general manager (Ron Brown) of the dealership to resolve the issue. I did exactly as I was directed. Honda USA even gave me his direct number too (they were extremely helpful)! I called Mr. Ron Brown Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday and left a voicemail every one of those days. Later Wednesday I received a phone call from sales manager Ellen Leung. She proceeded to tell me that Honda USA does not know how dealership are ran, and that Nora and Ruben were correct and that they are not able to honor what Honda offers. She also told me that every dealership is ran differently, and that they have different software. Throughout the phone call I kept calling out her BS. I even told her that I never wanted to speak to her and that I specifically called Ron Browns direct line because I wanted to speak to him, BUT he does not care about customer service because he obviously did not want to deal with this one customer. I further told her that that dealership does not care about customer service because I am having such a hard time getting exactly what I should be able to have. She told me that she will call me the next day by noon with a resolution, and of course I agreed. The very next day at exactly noon, I received a phone call. It was not Ellen Leung, but Ruben Lopez, finance manager. I was surprised that the finance director, Nora Reynoso, was not the one to contact me since she is the head of finance and was also the one with whom I signed my finance paperwork with originally. Once I was off from work I called Ruben Lopez back. He told me that I had two options of resolutions to choose from, and I chose one of the options to resolve this issue. PART 2After all of that I went through in part one, I sat down and looked over my contract. What I found was unacceptable! The price that Mehrdad Saatara told me that he was able to give me, he didnt give me. In fact, he changed the price to be $600 over what we originally agreed upon before the $100 reduction. I again contacted the general manager Robert Brown through the dealerships website, but it was Medrdad Saatara that responded. In short, he told me that I did not supply him with the full amount of e-mails that way he could have fully understood the offer I was given by another dealership. So in gest, it was my fault that I did not know the car sales industry in and out enough to give him an understanding of what the numbers in my offer meant. I am sorry, but the offer I was given was a pre-tax pre-discount price and Mehrdad Saatara did not want to understand that. I am so disgusted by this I do not want to return to this dealership for my free service coupons. What also has me disgusted is that Nora Reynoso, Ruben Lopez, and Ellen Leung ALL blamed their unwillingness to work with their DPSM and spend the money to resolve my issue on ME. I do not understand how those people could blame their problems on me?!PART 3 Possible LemonWhile dealing with everything in part 1, my car was defective. The air conditioner in my brand new 2016 Civic did not work, and the vents did not work as well. The service person Brian DAmbrosio tried to tell me that Sierra Honda WOULD NOT pay for my rental if the repairs ran longer than the 5pm close time. I called Honda USA to verify this information. I then while I was on the phone with Ellen Leung told her that they should give me the common curtesy to pay for my rental because they sold me a defective car. In the end, they did pay for my rental car. Brian for some reason did not order the part when he said he was going to order the part, and I had to postpone my appointment for two weeks out! My cars freon level was below half Brian tried to blame it on me!!! And they did replace the vents in my car. I have had to go back in for the air conditioner, and I even took it into a different dealership just to get a second opinion. Even though Brian had replaced the vents, I am still having the same exact problem. If the problems still persist even after another replacement part, this car is a lemon (of course not by the state of Californias definition just my definition). OVERALL if you want to deal with people who blame you for their problems and also do not care about customer service, PLEASE visit Sierra Honda. If not, go somewhere else where they could treat you a lot better!

This is my 4th Honda and after owning this car for 5 months I truly will never buy another Honda again!!!! What a joke. I can'5 even believe this carries the name Honda on it. I'' so disappointed with the car that I've tried trading it 3 times and I would be losing a substantial amount of money. The car is uncomfortable on long rides, there is a rattling noise in the dash that just started last month and the service department can't fix it. The gas mileage is not what is on the window sticker. The acceleration on the highway is horrendous. The only good thing about the car is the exterior styling. Like they say never judge a book by it's cover. What a mistake it was this time. Looks like I will be going American for the 1st time.

Solid car for a decent price

I have the 2016 Accord LX. I bought it used with about 3000 miles on it from my local MN dealer. It was to replace my 2000 Honda Civic coupe that I had owned for around 13 years and it had 235,000 miles on it. Needless to say I am a Honda loyalist, but not one who is blind to Honda's faults. I test drove a CR-V and a Camry and this car and settled for Honda because I still like the 'feel' of the Accord better. The car is still mostly Honda in how it drives and sounds. The CVT takes a little getting used to but is not bad overall. It gets excellent gas mileage, I average around 32-34 mpg in mostly highway driving with some city driving mixed in there. The power is excellent for a four cylinder but you will not be drag racing anyone out there, buy a different car for that. I love the exterior styling and I think it is one of the better looking Accords in recent years. Generally, I am happy with the car. That is all the good stuff. Now for the bad. This car is neither quiet nor particularly compliant in the NVH department. I am ok with that because having owned Honda cars for a long time I know they aren't always the best at NVH. I will trade the noisiness for the benefits in the handling department. There is, however, in my car a particularly annoying wind noise at the B pillar, right at ear level, when the car is at highway speeds. This is on both the driver and passenger sides. I will have the dealership look at this and update the review based on what they do. Road noise varies depending on the surface and can become obtrusive at times. There is a vibration that this car has at idle and it might have something to do with accessories like AC/climate control cycling on and off. More troubling is a slight vibration that can be felt in the steering and gas pedal during acceleration and at certain speeds on the highway. Time will tell how this resolves itself. Could be anything as simple as an out of balance wheel to as complicated as a CVT issue. Will update when I know more. The brakes are good and I can stop this car easily without jerking my passengers around. There is also a fair amount of body lean in the LX model when cornering at anything close to aggressive speeds. With all these flaws I still love this car and I hope it lasts longer than my faithful old Civic.

I expected the Honda Accord to have a smooth ride with great pick up ... It did not... There was a constant vibration in the steering wheel, while driving at 60 mph... Very disturbing on a new car... Wondered what would happen over time... Decided not to trust the reliability of Honda products any longer after having so many recalls on my current Hondas 3 of them to be exact... Even the new 2016 Honda Civic has already 2 major recalls... It is to bad Honda does not stand behind their products or care about their loyal customers... Hello brand new Toyota Camry.

I had a 2015 Civic SI Coupe before this and it was very difficult to part with. The Accord Coupe 3.5L V6 MT took my driving experience to the next level. It's fast, smooth and has outstanding gas mileage. I have the Still Night Pearl, along with the front, side and rear body kits. The car gets complimented almost every time I go to the gas station. Most of all, I'm very impressed with the shifter and clutch. The throaty exhaust note and powerful engine revving can be addictive, especially during acceleration. This car exceeded my expectations in every area. Thoroughly pleased Honda customer!

Bought a 2016 Acord early this year. In less than 6 months it has to go back to the dealer for some CVT software fix. And the dealer closes by 4 so have to take it on the weekend. Did not plan pn spending my weekends at the dealer when I bought this car!

Great newer safety features--backup camera, right side camera, blind spot mirror piece on left side. Reminds me of my old 1991 Prelude but with lots more comfort. Almost as good gas mileage as my 2011 Civic, may be even closer after it's fully broken in.

Let me start by addressing the minor complaints I've read that could make you second guess what is otherwise the best car I've ever had the pleasure to own and drive. First everyone needs to stop whining about the loss of the volume knob. The touch screen control only takes a few days to get used to and is now second nature. Next are so called noise complaints while I will admit heavy rains do produce a tapping near the B pillar it's easily ignored and minor. I've had a Toyota Camry, Jeep Cherokee, VW Jetta, and Jeep Wrangler whose roofs sounded like they were corrugated tin. Road and wind noise? They are a none issue I quote Car and Driver magazine "At 70 mph we recorded a decibel rating of 66, the same as a Mercedes S class we tested." Now onto the review if you are looking to enjoy the act of driving not just getting from A to B this is the car for you. If your looking to do it in comfort on a seat that feels like the leather chair in your living room in the perfect position relative to the controls and excellent view all around buy/lease this car. Matched to a buttoned down suspension, perfectly weighted steering wheel that at least gives some feed back compared to the numb detached steering in my last few sedans get the accord (I'm looking at you Kia Optima and Chevy Malibu.) Finishing up with the smoothest quick shifting automatic I've ever driven that shames these crap CVTs get to the dealership. Lastly it's a rocket putting your foot in it brings a linear rush of power that will leave most cars in your rearview. VTEC is awesome in the upper RPM range adding extra noticeable pull. Take a test drive you won't regret it. If mpg is your thing driving steady not slow had netted me an average of 28 city 31 to 34 highway not bad for this well engineered n/a V6.

We love love love this car. The cabin is spacious and it feels like sitting in the lap of luxury. The adjustable lumbar support on the driver's seat is perfect. The back seats comfortably seat a tall person and the side windows allow them to look at passing scenery without craning their necks. The Accord is a game-changer for safety. The side camera really reduces tension when changing freeway lanes or keeping an eye on bicyclists. . I had to stop suddenly when a kid ran into the street. The brake went down faster than I could have braked and the stability assist helped me keep control of the car. And. I love CarPlay navigation while streaming music.

This is my 9th Honda Accord sedan. I love the car. The only wart is the ride at times. 90% of the time the ride is good enough-handling is good. 10% of the time when the road is bad, the ride is very rough. But I can live that. The most important issue is transmission performance to me. There is no delay that it makes it an unsafe vehicle like some other cars. I owed an upscale Honda product-Acura TLX. Mine was of 2015 vintage with 4,300 mile when I sold it in September 2016 and I only owned it for a year. I did not feel safe driving it. A variant of the 6 cylinder with the 9 speed ZF was the powertrain. That transmission strangled the 290 horsepower, and the VCM on top of the 9 speed completely neutered the Acura in question. The transmission shifted erratically and 4th gear took too long to engage. The Accord is not for everybody but for my being an Accord fan it is A- and just great. I got this car as a Honda certified with 6,300 miles for with a pre-tax price within + or - 4% of trade-in value. Clean CarFax and AutoCheck accident free. In service date of 1/12/16 - thus, 7 yr Certified warranty ends Jan 2023. I got a wraparound First Automotive warranty that expires same day as Honda 7 year that includes a ton more components than the Honda 7 year powertrain warranty for a nominal amount. The dealership that I purchased the car from was Rick Roush in Medina, Ohio. The sales personnel, Tyler Roush and Tracy Hammond, were extremely helpful and did an outstanding job. A recent listing for a used identical vehicle in a different color was originally listed with a Ford dealer at $28,476-way too high a price. This Ford dealer just reduced it after a few days to $26,810 for a non-Honda certified vehicle-a fair price but not a great price. I did extremely well in my purchase of this car. Again my hat off to Rick Roush Honda.

I love my 2016 Honda Accord EX-L

It's a great looking car, especially at night with the LED taillights. I want to like it, and I do for the most part. I just haven't bonded with it like I did my last two Hondas. There isn't anything objectively wrong with it, I just don't feel a connection to it. It's just a car to me, one that I won't be sad to get rid of. The fuel economy is not what I had hoped for. I'm averaging just 24 MPG with mixed driving. Hopefully it will get better when I put more miles on it. The seats are not quite as comfortable as on the 2016 Civic, but they're not bad. Having Apple CarPlay is a fantastic feature that I wouldn't want to go without, but it does take quite a while to start up when compared to other vehicles I've tried it on. The back seats are comfortable enough for short trips, and the trunk is huge. A couple of things I don't like: There is a fair bit of wind noise that sounds like it's coming from the door seal right next to my ear. There is no volume knob. Not the biggest thing in the world because it does have volume controls on the steering wheel. Still, I'd rather have one. I'm also not a big fan of the glossy black trim on the inside. It scratches easily and always looks smudged.

I want to love the car but I can't

Purchasing a brand new vehicle for the first time in my life is a very exciting event. I had very high expectation from upgrading from used up 2004 Accord to brand new 2016 EX-L model. I love the design and acceleration, CarPlay is cool.... This could be a perfect car, BUT I can not understand how Honda can ignore two simple issues, that just make me thinking that this is my last Honda. The first problem is wind noise. It is simply horrible, not better than any other car from 90-s. No improvements at all on trying to make it a little quitter, to match up with competitors. This is really annoying and doesn't make any ride enjoyable. The second problem appears when I try to eliminate the wind noise by playing loud music. Guess what, load music causes vibration of the whole rear deck with the subwoofer. The stop light is so close to the glass, that light vibration of the deck causes the plastic to vibrate and periodically with high frequency hit the rear glass. This creates annoying rattling noise. So I make the volume lower, but then I here annoying wind noise... Most importantly, the dealer agreed to repair both of these issues, that cost me nothing but loosing hours of my personal work time. Both repairs are not successful and it was just a waste of time trying to fix manufacturer's pour design. Btw, the dealer doesn't accept that this is a result of pour design.... They offered the repairs covered by warranty, but they all were not effective with no improvements. Such confusing situation. Even if I am willing to pay to fix it, I can't fix it and no one can! I had to do what I originally planned to do, buy a more luxury but slightly used vehicle, in which, at least I would enjoy the ride while paying more for the repairs....

I just love this car !

This is my first Honda car. I've owned Honda motorcycles. I wanted a car that would be dependable and the Accord has a great reputation in that regard. I purchased a 2016 at the end of the model year and got aprox. $4500 off the MSRP. I purchased the LX with CVT, which is the most basic of the Accords. I don't believe in buying a $20,000 car and adding a lot of gadgets to make it a $30,000 car. With only 1000 miles on the dash, the car runs great. having only driven cars with a traditional automatic, the CVT trans. seems a little odd but I'm getting use to it. It has a smooth and quiet ride. With the 4 cyl its not a race car, but the 6cyl only improved the 0 to 60 mph by about 1.5 seconds so I could not justify spending about $8000 more for the model with the V6. Being the basic model it lacks the electronic seat adjustments which I miss a little. I am coming from a 2013 VW Jetta TDI. The Accord ride is softer and the steering is not as firm as the VW. I don't have enough miles to comment on the MPG. Over all a good value for the money.

I searched for 5 months before buying the Accord EX and I am so happy I ended up with the Accord EX. Everything about this car is great so far however I was expecting a little bit more out of the miles per gallon. It's not what I thought it would be but over all I would rate this car a 9 out of 10. Courtesy Palm Harbor was a fantastic place to buy from, they don't hound you or lay a line of B.S. on you. I made them an offer which no other dealer would even consider and they accepted it. I strongly suggest making the extra trip to Palm Harbor if you are interested in a Honda because they will treat you right. Just make them an offer but make sure it is reasonable and they will tell you yes or no. That's the way car buying should be without the B.S. coming into play. This was a stress free deal that I made with Palm Harbor Honda. Buying from anywhere else is going to be a nightmare at best. Trust me, I know because I contacted over 2 dozen Honda dealerships throughout Florida over the 5 months I was shopping. Most dealerships would rather rob you first and sell you a car second. Just my opinion.

2016 Accord Touring Tire Feathering

After 10k miles, start to hear scratching noise at highway speed. Took it in for service today and was told that the noise was caused by tire feathering. Did alignment and will see how bad it will go. Not sure how long the initial equipment tire will last, but kind of early to quit on me. Overall the car is great. But something could be wrong even it is a Honda.

The front seat design is hideous. Good luck if u have a bad back and if you don't you will by the time u drive it more than 30 minutes. I can see why they give such short test drives and no interstate access. Lumbar adjustment a joke. Turned car into to another brand because they Honda wouldn't work with me to put in a different vehicle. Returned car with 300 miles and the fearless hip where purchased offered an insulting amount to trade in. At least $7000 less after less than 6 days of ownership. WILL NEVER BUY OR REFER ANYONE TO HONDA AGAIN...

this has to be one of the absolute best values in new cars today! with all the luxury of a higher end car and Honda reliability what more could you ask for. HONDA SENSING is truly a must have, lane keep assist, brake assist and mitigation, radar cruise control, parking sensors, cameras and more its an great option for all to have. the Touring v6 sedan is a great buy at 35,000 sticker, its also sexy looking, fast and quiet. love this car!

Lets face it if you are looking for a fun car that is going to make you smile every day from the shear joy of driving this is not the car. But if you want a stable solid car that gets you there safely, and the Honda Sensing makes it safe its hard to go wrong. I am getting about 30mpg, in a large safe quiet car that is easy to drive for 1000's of miles. I don't know how quickly it goes 0-60, don't know how fast I can corner on some extreme road, but I do know the brakes and other stuff that keeps me alive works.

+Pros: 1. Nice redesign, but a little too much chrome on the outside. Would have been nice for some details in black instead of chrome, plus, I personally don't like chrome -- it's cheapy/tacky looking bling and it blinds people driving behind you. 2. It's a V6 and fast when pushed (but also a future con.) 3. Great highway gas mileage. (Also a con) 4. The front seats can be moved further up than before, great to prevent kids that kick and ruin the leather seats 5. Dual screen, but they still haven't updated the camera screen, still looks like a webcam from the 90's. 6. Finally, a rear spoiler on the V6 model, but you pay for it with it being only on the Touring Trim level. 7. Very nice rims! 8. Beige leather is very nice, so is the Orchid White paint. 9. Remote Start. Still have to figure it out. When I activate it and then get into the car and it says hold the break and push start, then car turns off. What's the point?? Ugh. +Cons: 1. Timing Belt replacement (you're looking at a $1200 replacement including water pump and tensioner) and hope the mechanic you get installs it properly without causing more harm than good trying to squeeze into the crammed in space to replace it. They still refuse to use a timing chain on the V6 line. 2. Cost to replace engine mounts: $500. 3. Cost to replace the 7" touchscreen when it goes, and it will die eventually and I highly doubt it will make it 10 years. 4. Stupid idea to put the music controls on the touch screen and no physical buttons to operate it. I still can't stop playing music without having to navigate the touchscreen to turn off the music. At least have a on/off music button or touch button like the Pilot has* 5. Wow, still no rear HVAC control? 6. Still no rear USB ports? 7. Piano Black Gloss? Really? It's a swirl scratch magnet plus distraction in the sun from the glare. Who thought this was a good idea? 8. Keyless ignition, while nice, why didn't you do what you did like the Pilot with an illuminated Button? Anyways, it's a con, because when that goes, it's about $1200 to replace. 9. Subwoofer tends to rattle the rear window, though the audio system does sound better then the 2013 V6 I had. 10. HD Radio sounds aweful, I really wish they also included an analog reciever.** 11. Gas Mileage / VCM Engine ... I just hope that after the class action lawsuit of previous generations due to the VCM design, this engine doesn't eat oil and foul spark plugs. Summary: All-in-all, it's a great car to lease, but not buy. Too many electronics that can go bad down the road that would raise the Total Cost of Ownership thousands of dollars more. If they provided a 8 year 100K warranty on the electronics, I say go for it, but at 3Y/36K standard, it's a future money pit, even with "Honda Care" at another $1200.00 You're better off with the LX with the least amount of electronics that can go bad. My final note: Great For Leasing, Expensive to own, esp. if you plan to drive it into the ground, and before you drive this thing into the ground, I bet you it will do that first to your wallet in repairs. UPDATES: 1. * I found the Audio On/Off button, it exists, it's to the left of the CD Player. Unlike the Honda Pilot EX-L which has it on the Touch Screen. 2. **There is a way to change the HD radio preference (personally, HD Radio sounds like someone talking through a tin can, aweful.) If you dig into the menu screen, you'll see the option to default to Analog Radio as the first preference. Addendum to Pros: 1. Great visibility outside of the Windows. 2. Breaking is responsive. Other: 1. When driving on the I280 in NJ, I noticed on the curves at around 65MPH, the road handling feels slippery. Maybe it's the new tires? Not sure, but it's not road gripping, more like fishtail/slipping. 2. My Goodness, on the Touring Trim, All Season Mats and Mud Flaps should be standard!!

Truly is the best car you can get for the money. I have sport trim with sensing. It has enough power, great amount of space, enough technology, good looks, and most importantly great driving dynamics. It hugs the road. Ride is smooth but not floaty, a bit on stiffer side which is expected with sport trim having 19" wheels. The suspension is very good, sticks to the road like glue and absorb bump pretty well. I am getting 35 mpg on highway. Also love the led tail lights, led running lights and duel exhaust pipes. It has a sporty hum from tailpipes. The steering feedback is good, although it could be more tighter as per my taste. But for daily driving its easier, so its good. Overall I am happy with the car. It reminds me of my Acura TL I used to have few years back.

Decent sedan for the price.

I recently migrated from a 2002 Accord Coupe EX V6 and so far I could not be happier with this new car. I was concerned about moving to a 4-cylinder but it has enough pep to get the job done. The sporty look, inside and out, along with the paddle shifters for manual mode add enough juice to it I am not missing the V6. All the chrome trim inside with the aluminum peddles really make it feel like a more pricy European vehicle. I'm was pleasantly surprised at how roomy the back seat is. I expect the same quality I have come to appreciate from Honda.

This is great comfortable car. Only issue is head unit got turned off and did not start back. Finally one fine day car battery is drained and I need to jump start the vehicle and the head unit is back to life. Head unit is dead for almost a week until car battery is drained and dealership could not diagnose the problem. Everything works well after the above mentioned issue and have driven more than 8500 miles and it is great reliable car. If we can spend some time and get the right seating position which makes you comfortable to drive for long hours we can easily drive 1000 miles a day on this car I have driven 935 miles in a day.

Test drove Toyota Camry, Accord Sport, Mazada 6 (Standard) was very compelling, and this was the best drive. I like the seats on my old VW Passat a little better, but so fart that is the only little disagreement. I like that it takes regular unleaded, the oil filter is an actual filter, and it is not too hard to get at.
