About 3 years ago I leased a Buick Verano from Wright. Brian Jeckavitch was the salesperson. A few months before the lease was up in 2015, Wright relentlessly solicited me to turn my lease in early and get into a 2016 model. I finally went in the end of December 2015. The first thing I said to Brian was that the Verano is over the allotted mileage. He said not a problem that he could take it off our hands and get us into a new one with only the first month's payment due. Sounded great, so I did it. A few weeks later the leasing company called and said that the insurance was dropped on the old Verano, I explained that we turned the lease in early to Wright Automotive. They said they did not have any record of it. I called Wright and they said they were processing the paperwork. Over the next few months I kept getting calls from the leasing company saying that I owed payments. I continued to call Wright and ask them what was going on. Finally, in May of 2016 I received a bill from the leasing company saying that I owed them $1,500 for mileage overage. I called Brian Jeckavitch and he said "don't worry about it, this happens all the time" and that he would call them and take care of it. Brian never called me back and I continued to receive invoices from the leasing company. I called Brian again and he said that Wright only covered the remaining payments we owed on the lease and not mileage overage. I explained to him that that was not what I agreed to and asked to speak with the manager. The manager told me that Brian should have never told us that and that he would talk to Brian about it going forward. No one at Wright will return my calls. I have requested that they send me my mileage on the car I turned in because they never gave it to me. No response. I did reach out to GM's headquarters and the answer I got was that they could not help me because Wright is an independent dealer. Bottom line, steer clear of Wright Automotive and move on from GM! Also, Brian Jeckavitch never went over the features of the car when we bought it, we just drove off the lot. Unprofessional!!!

Bought my SUV from Wright GMC. The SUV is a brand that Wright does not have a franchise so getting a minor repair done was a nightmare. When I bought it there was an error light on the dash, the salesman told me "bring it back and well fix it no problem". I brought it back and it was fixed. The next day the light came back on, I called and the salesman told me "Well its under warranty so take it to a Dodge Dealership"..... I didnt buy the car from a Dodge dealership I bought it from YOU so I expect YOU to fix it. Horrible Horrible Horrible customer service. They are great and very welcoming to you before you buy but as soon as you sign those papers you're on your own.

I found a car online that I wanted. Contacted Wright to determine if they still had the car. Soon determined that they no longer had the car if it ever was available. I was contacted 4 more times by email and 3 more phone calls, but they didn't have a vehicle and I was interested in and I didn't appreciate the harassment.

Bought my new vehicle at wright buick. The process of buying the car and the sales team was great. Signing the paperwork with the GM finance manager at the dealership was a nightmare. Additionally, getting in touch with customer service after the sale has been horrible. The dealership needs to work on its customer service and the finance manger.

My wife and I bought a brand new Yukon Denali from Wright in 2012. When we purchased the vehicle they talked us into buying their extended warranty. The extended warranty was to be a bumper to bumper extension of the gmc warranty for one year. We have had two warranty problems with our vehicle and the warranty would not cover either problem. If you are planning on buying a vehicle from Wright GMC DO NOT BUY THEIR EXTENDED WARRANTY!!!!!!!!!!

My daughter was shopping for an inexpensive new car and we visited a number of dealers to look at cars. She had done some research so we knew a little about the cars we wanted to see. Our experience at Wright Nissan exceeded our expectations and was far better than at any of the other dealers. Our sales person, Ian McFarlane, was knowledgeable and did not subject us to any high pressure tactics. He made all the sales points his manager would want him to stress in a way that made us feel part of the process. Ian was the best car sales person I have encountered in my many years. My daughter had to finance the car and that experience was equally pleasant. No leading you on with "great deals" only to find you don't qualify at the last moment. She did get a great deal and they came through on what they first presented to us. When she filled out papers with the business manager, Michael Currie, it was the same thing! He was pleasant, knowledgeable and no high pressure tactics or surprises and he pointed out all the add on stuff he is supposed to point out. The check she had to write out was much lower than I expected and the monthly payment was also slightly lower than we had discussed. OK, I know you're thinking this can't be true, car dealers don't work this way. Shopping for a new car is supposed to be torture but it WASN'T! I was blown away by how pleasant it was. Now I just need the service department to be as wonderful ;-)

On May 21 2015 I purchased and brand new Frontier. Drove off the lot at 10 miles on the odometer. Two days later the power steering fluid line popped spreading a 1/2 quart of power steering fluid over the new engine and undercarriage. BRAND NEW!!!!. Called Mike Rizzitano the Sale Manager Monday morning and asked if they inspect these vehicle before they sale themYes sir we do, well obviously someone needs their eyes checked or a one way trip to the unemployment office from the QA department at Wright Auto. I was assured that they would make "wright" the wrong. I should add getting these people on the phone is like pulling teeth. I think I'm at message number 4 with no call back yet. I specified "all" PSF be removed and washed off along with problem fixed. Sure..sure Sir we'll take care of it , I was told. Just for you folks that are reading this when you hear a sale man tell you that ...Walk away. Dont buy off this guy.. Anyways...back to my experience, dropped the car off myself, or towed rather, Sunday morning Get a call Tuesday that it is fixed. I might add again I specify "Completely Cleaned" and was reassured it would be. Drive from work the whole way to Wexford to crawled under the truck and find more fluid as if it was never cleaned. Put another call into Mike and now his DM Mathew Miller, again answer machines...wonder if these guys graduated together from the same college hmmm. ..Makes you wonder ... in short avoid Wright Nissan Auto.

Car taken for service, never fixed, still charged

In 2013, I took my car to Wright Pontiac while it was still under warranty, because when I clicked lock/unlock on my key fob, the drivers side door did not lock or unlock. As soon as I took my car out of Wright Pontiacs service department, I turned off my car to test it, and surprisingly, nothing was fixed. I went back inside to explain the issue and they told me they would need to order a new part and bring my car in on another day to get it fixed. This is a bit inconvenient, as it is not as simple as taking my car there for an appointment. I work during the day and I would need to drop my car off overnight, get picked up by my parents and borrow one of their cars. I never got around to taking my car back in to get this fixed until a week ago, when I took it in for a recall appointment. I asked if they could take a look at and fix the drivers side lock, and got a call from the service department. They explained it would be $280+ to fix, and I declined this for a few reasons, the first being (1) I will just use my key to manually unlock the door and (2) I am going to have to pay $280 to get something fixed that SHOULD have been fixed while my car was under warranty. I found this a little ridiculous, but the most ridiculous part was that when I picked up my car, I was charged $51 for diagnostics. I couldnt believe this, because I had previously taken my car to this specific dealership to get fixed while under warranty, they did NOT fix the issue at that time. In their computer system, they should have already known that the electrical failure of the left door acctuator was causing this issue and there is no way I should have been charged $51 for their ERROR. Needless to say, I will never be using this dealership in the future for service or the purchase of a new vehicle. My question to you, is it worth it to lose a customer over $51 due to an ERROR on your companies behalf?

One half hour is all that was needed to depart this dealership without making a purchase. The salesman working with the client next to us was engaged in a heated argument with his client because the salesman raised the price on the vehicle $2,000 over what they had agreed on! Our salesman (Used Car Manager Nate) tried to sell us a vehicle with bad tires, bad breaks and then low-balled us on a trade in. When we said thank you but we are going to look elsewhere- he replied that we wont find a car like this anywhere else at this price and he was going to raise the price as soon as we walked out the door. We replied this tactic is exactly why we wont buy a car from you and his response, "I wont sell a car to you anyway" Very unprofessional and questionable sales tactics. This salesman gave this dealer a black eye and we would not recommend anyone buying a car at Wright in Wexford.

My wife and I looked at a used 2010 Volvo XC60 about 2 weeks ago. We were trading in a 2009 Ford Escape and I am embarrassed to see I hand't realized someone had painted the front bumper on the car before we purchased it 1 year ago. On the way to the dealership we stopped and I cleaned the car with a pressure washer and I hadn't noticed the paint coming off the front bumper until we working on the deal, I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Anyhow Nate, Tom, and Ben were outstanding, this was the 1st time to a dealership of this size purchasing a used car. My wife and I had the best experience, I was so impressed on hard they worked to help my wife become the owner of this used Volvo XC60, I thought I would have to walk away and upset her. Thank you! I would definitely buy another car from these guys again.

Shortly after sitting down the servicing was all finished. I would highly recommend this Dealership for sales or service!

I purchased a used vehicle in December, 2013. Shortly after my purchase (approximately a week or two) I had a rattling noise in the front wheel well. I was told I could bring it in to have it looked at but if it was a shock, strut, etc, it would not be covered. Despite the fact that it had just been driven off their lot - they would not stand behind their vehicle. I subsequently replaced both shocks, struts, & stabilizer bars in the front of the vehicle. Approximately two months after that replacement, the thermostat went bad in the vehicle so I had to have that replaced as well. In June, just six months after the purchase, the transmission went out of the vehicle and Wright Automotive would not do a thing to help me with the repair. They actually had a salesman call me to try to have me trade the vehicle in at low value due to all of the problems still needing repaired with the vehicle and purchase a new vehicle from them. I had a private mechanic replace the transmission. Just two months later, the electrical system started having problems, the locks would lock and unlock at random, the dash lights would flash on and off and the loud rattle in the front end had returned. I could not get a representative from Wright Automotive to even return my phone call. The vehicle, just eight months after purchase and only 8,000 miles later, would not pass inspection and needed traded in at a substantial loss - negative equity and $5000 in repairs that had to be made to the vehicle in six months.

In late April we brought our daughter into your dealership, Wright GMC, to purchase a car since we had purchased two new cars last year at Wright Auto Group, and we had been very pleased with the service that we received. She purchased a 2010 Ford Escape. LITERALLY, within 24 hrs. of this purchase we were calling the salesman as the air conditioner was not working, and the door chimes were acting strange. He sent us to the service department, who requested that we bring this car in the next week. At that point in time the air was working again, and the service person told us that they needed to have the car when the air was not working. At this point this car also revealed other random issues such as: the Bluetooth not working; the air not working; and buttons on the steering wheel not working. When we took this car to Wrights Service Department the second time the air was out, the wipers would not work (scary as it was raining,) and the Bluetooth was out. They kept the car for three (3) days and the only problem they could find to correct was to change the ignition switch. In desperation we took the car to a Ford dealer as the Wright Service Department had recommended --- The Ford dealer had our car for 10 days, and their diagnosis was that the alternator was bad, which caused it to send weird signals to the computer, and by this point in time this issue had destroyed the battery. When our daughter bought this car, she purchased the extended warranty that the salesman at Wright told us would cover everything but routine items. This was not truthful as we ended up owing $361.00 to the Ford dealership. There is also a noise in the front end that could easily be yet another expensive issue. *The clunk noise we were hearing in the front of this lemon turned out to be a controller arm and wheel bearing that needs replaced. This was a very obvious noise and should have been apparent to the Wright Service Department at the onset of this bad experience. How did this car pass inspection, as we were told, with this safety issue and so many other problems? We called Wright GMC's used car manager, Nate Basec (sp??). I also emailed Wright Automotive Group and I was provided the name of Duane Guthrie to call. They finally called us 5 days later and said we could trade the vehicle in if we paid another $5,000 to them for a different used car. It would be different if we were returning car because we did not like it and not because it is a safety issue. We offered if we kept this car could Wright Automotive Group fix the controller arm at no cost to us and give us a service credit to use in Wrights Service Department to cover some of the out-of-pocket costs we have paid so far and we would be happy. These items should have been picked up during inspection; if inspection was truly completed before car was placed on Wrights lot. Nate says that Wrights Service Department is not connected to the sales department, so he will have to go to the service manager and see what they can do and get back to me and he will make it right. He agreed that the problems this car has had is excessive and questioned why they were not picked up by service station during inspection and he would share with the service manager and get back to me with solution and make it right. After two days with no telephone call, I called him (8/1/14) and left him a message to please call me with an update. We have not received a return call and it has now been 5 days. We are finished with Wright Automotive Group. The fact that Nate could not even call me back and give me an update tells us how he feels about helping us with this car which he sold to us. We would have been happy with the repair work being done and some service money credit for her to use for oil changes etc. in your company. I would avoid this company at all costs as their customer service is sad and they do not stand behind the vehicles that they sell you.

My experience at Wright's in Wexford was great! Tim M was my sales associate and he was the perfect gentleman. Being a petite female I was nervous about going to the dealership alone, but the entire team at Wright's treated me fairly and with a high level of respect. Tim was able to offer me the vehicle I wanted at a price that worked well for my budget. My entire experience was professional and it ran smoothly. TIm had the vehicle parked outside there green Hummer showroom when I arrived, he gave me a thorough tour of the vehicle, he took me for a test drive, and then he explained the pricing with me and he even included the applicable incentives which helped to lower the price of the vehicle. Since buying my brand new GMC Terrain, Tim has contacted me to follow up and see how things were going and if I needed any additional assistance. I am extremely happy with my purchase and with the awesome customer service I received! If you want great service and a great vehicle, then go check out the team over at Wright's in Wexford. Oh and ask for Tim!

I drive a Pontiac that was subject to the Ignition Switch recall of 2014 and got a letter in the mail from GMC about replacing the ignition switch. I made the call to Wright Automotive to get this fixed (I had previously been there for other car work and I was happy with it) in April. They said the part was on back order and they will take my information down and call me when they get the parts. I called again in June because I hadn't heard any news, and the place still didn't have the parts. So I called a different GMC dealership in the Pittsburgh area and they said that they will order a part right away! Not even 4 weeks later, the part came in, my car was fixed, and I was a happy camper. Overall, not impressed with how Wright Automotive handled the situation.

I had been to a few dealerships looking for well priced SUV, with reasonable miles. Every one I went to cared nothing about what I actually wanted. They took me to " the perfect car ", and wouldn't stop pressuring me to buy now before its gone. It was a revolving door of stero-typical salesman. Then I went to Wright Automotive Buick GMC. Nate Zoller (in the green building) was my salesman, and actually listened to what I had to say!! He spent a few hours with me, showing me different SUVs, and the pros/cons of each. NO PRESSURE!! It may be hard to believe, but we actually talked about more then just cars. A salesman that actually cared about me, and not just getting into my wallet. I had finally found a place where buying a car wasn't a complete drag. For the first time in a long time, I actually enjoyed the buying process. I am not one to write these reviews online. Infact, this is my first time. I felt the need to get the word out there, that Wright Automotive Buick GMC is a fantastic place to shop for a car. I enjoyed my experience there, and will definitely go back. If your looking for a used car, you should definitely stop by Wright's used car building (the green one), and see what they can do for you. You won't be disappointed.

After visiting three dealerships and feeling a bid jaded by bad experiences, I stopped into Wright Buick GMC in Wexford. I pulled up to the green building and was greeted enthusiastically by my salesman, Jake. Finally, I found a dealership and a salesman that listened to my needs, instead of ignoring my desired specifications and trying to sell me whatever was "aging" on the lot. The negotiation was painless and the pricing was below other dealerships in the area for a 2014 Sierra Crew Cab SLT. The Sales Manager, Nate Baysek, did everything possible to earn my business including a new bedliner for the truck. I purchased the truck on a Monday and had the bedliner installed on Weds in an hour by an extremely friendly service department. This was by far the best car sales process that I have encountered in seven new vehicle business deals over the years. In addition, the Finance Manager, Nick, notified me of a sales tax exemption available for farm vehicles after I told him that my wife and I had fulfilled our dream of recently purchasing a small farm. The Sierra is going to be used for hauling hay and cattle. The additional savings was substantial and unexpected!

I was very impressed with this dealership when I went. I visited too see a 2000 Buick with very low miles at a good price. As I'm test driving, I noticed a shaking when accelerating. The problem is definitely a transmission issue, the severity I'm not sure. What I do know is they did not fix it, and just listed it again at a lower price, a couple hundred dollars less here on Cars.com. They are attempting to sell a car with a transmission could blow any minute! Horrible service, make sure everything is correct before you buy!!!
